Allotments Mod - Download

I made this mod for @desiree-uk! It's being shared as per her suggestion. A big thank you to her and I hope you all enjoy!

Put your community (or residential) gardens to use! Create and rent allotments, push gardening interactions and make a nice profit while you're at it.

Place the allotment marker in a gated enclosure, set the sim who will be renting the allotment, and they'll take care of all the plants within their enclosure, plus partake in other specified duties.

Available Duties - Toggle on/off - [visibility subject to lot-type]

Water,

Weed,

Harvest,

Get Fertiliser**,

Fertilise Plants,

Dispose of Dead Plants,

Rake Leaves,

Burn or Dispose Leaves.

Gardening Push

As the allotment marker is a meta object, the sim renting the marker may autonomously be pushed to the lot to garden their allotment while inactive.

The marker is also a broadcaster object, so while within the vicinity, the renter will be pushed to complete any outstanding garden activities while in range.

You can also set up dedicated gardening days to push your sim to the lot and prevent your sim from coming to garden during certain seasons.

Payment

Set an owner for the allotment or attach a Bronzo* bank to the marker and make your sim pay to use the space! You can even set up automatic rent payments.

Harvesting

Link a harvest box to the allotment marker and all harvested produce will go straight into the box instead of clogging up your sims inventory. You can also sell produce straight from the box!

Requirements:

*My social clubs mod and **Ani's compost mod. Without these, the mod will at worst, crash, and at best, not work as intended.

Please read the included documentation for a more comprehensible feature breakdown.

A collection file is included for easy access to the objects.

Otherwise: the harvest box is in storage/misc. for $190 and the allotment marker is in outdoors/lawn ornaments for $35.

@valiasims Cozy Cabin Nursery - 4t3 conversion

A trade with @suteflower again ♥

This set was super fun to convert - I actually managed to convert my first item with additive shader (the arches) and doing all the kinds of texture tricks to make almost everything recolorable with proper stencils was just the right kind of challenge!

All items were converted, including the items for medium and tall walls, not pictured, but they're there!

All BGC and with reasonable polycounts BUT the changing station needs the Store file to work properly. I'm sure you guys know where to get it ;)

The wardrobe and the shelves fit perfectly in the niches without the need of moveobjects on, but for the blanket to fit the crib well you'll need to use ALT or a mod like S3DT.

About the shelves: in the TS4 original both were just display shelves, but I made the one with the tree trunk a display and the plain one a functional bookshelf for versatility!

All recolorable EXCEPT for the stack of books, so I included all overlays in two different files.

Also, for the niches and arches, please use vertical patterns on the short and tall versions or else they will distort. It's fine for the medium versions :P

Comes with a collection file and, if you have a search mod, searching for VALIA or Deniisu will work fine!

Default Replacement #05

5 default replacement cakes. They can be paired with candles and flame effects, and each has its own matching cake slice.

I was really amazed when I saw the Cake Connector mod, we finally could have matching slices! Unfortunately, I tried following the tutorial, but my English and technical skills aren't great, I've lost count of how many times I failed. To be honest, I still have no idea what the problem is, haha. This is so much harder than converting CAS objects.

Because of all these issues, I had to resort to using the default replacement method as a shortcut.

🍓Strawberry Cake Default replacement for the Birthday Inferno Birthday Cake. If you only want this cake, there's no need to install any other mods.

🍀The Other Cakes Default replacement for the Gosik Cakes ( remade by Echoweaver ). Require CCLoader, Custom Cake Connector, and Gosik Birthday Cakes. Please place these in the Packages folder. Make sure to place my files in the Overrides folder, or conflicts will occur.

Update 09.07.2023

It’s no big secret (I mean it reads in this instruction) that I was not very happy how the chicken movement was working in the original version of this mod. So when I was working on the Dig For Treasure -mod I use the chicken’s move code to calculate where to dig and managed to improve the code a bit so I decided to do this update.

Note: Please delete any old chickens you have in your game if you download version 2.

1. The chicken’s movement should now be a bit more random.

2. With testing cheats on you now have an option to toggle chicken movement on/off. Even if this is off the chicken will still do the animations and change directions once in a while, but they will not move from the spot you put them in. By default this option is off.

3. Added option to feed chickens using seeds and produce on top of the original 5§ food. This is for you medieval/off the grid players – who try to play this game with no or very little money. If feeding your chicken using seed or produce the mod will just take the first seed/produce it find in your inventory and use that. So if you have some super special thing you don’t want to end up in your chicken remove it from your sim’s inventory first. The animation for feeding is the same regardless what option you use. Note, that anything deemed produce (including fish) can be used to feed the chickens.

4. The mod now has sounds! In a form of a separate .package where I attached all the sound files.

Note: If you have the original chicken coop in your game you can delete the sound file and the chicken will still have sounds. The mod will just use the sound files from the coop.

Felixandre PARIS Part 3 - 4t3 conversion

Finally, the last part of the set. Except for the wall masks, much easier to convert :)

All recolorable and BGC, with reasonable polycounts - as far as I remember, the highest ones are the fireplace and the large sofa, and even then they don't have more than 1.2k per tile

This fireplace also has a chimney, deleted for preview only

Doors not included, but @martassimsbookcc's conversion of Syboulette's Haussmann doors are very close in style

The rococo-ish seats also not included - @cats-n-witchcraft converted them first!

Yes, I added all painting presets. They're all gorgeous.

The round(-ish) table is a dining table, like the original

Collection file included, and the rococo seats will appear inside it if you have them downloaded. Otherwise, only my items will appear.

[ ACNH to TS3 ] Functional Music Boxes

There are 6 different music boxes in TS3, and while the sound effects are great, they look really rough. The first time I saw the ballerina doll, it really gave me a fright. 😲 So, recently, whenever I have some free time, I've been trying to create my own music boxes.

Animal Crossing is my favorite game on the Switch. The villagers are just too adorable. Even now, I still open the game during New Year's and on my birthday to celebrate with them. I think it would be amazing to see these characters in The Sims 3 too. My favorite villager is Jacob (I call him "Fishcake" because of the Chinese pun on his name). He loves food, so I made his music box base a whole birthday cake. I also paired other lazy villagers with food. 🤣

Happy Simblrween 2023! And whew, my first OBJECT set! I've worked really hard on this set, and now my right hand is very, very exhausted after typing and clicking and constantly opening TSRW...

I have worked REALLY hard making some of these functional and fully recolorable whenever possible! All credits go to Mechtasims! Further info is in a text file in the .zip file! A collection file has also been provided!

In short:

There are 19 items (20 including a duplicate of the trunk that uses a different script),

EVERYTHING except the wall calendar, the textbook, and posters are fully recolorable (but the posters have the pin recolorable)

The bed is functional! I repeat, THE BED IS FUNCTIONAL! It has some clipping issues with the pillows while relaxing, and the blanket when a bigger or male Sim gets out of the bed, but it's minor and still functional!

The bedframe is separated because I didn't want to remap everything,

The minifridge acts as a regular, base game fridge akin to the Hydra boba minifridge or the Mini-Freeze on MTS, rather than the University Life minifridge that only gives snacks.

Both the phone and the clock are functional as alarm clocks, and the heart wall light is also functional.

The trunk, as seen by the bedframe, is functional as a storage chest. It's stackable!

I forgot to mention that the wall items are moveable up and down and ; and '

The .zip has all the info on polycount and categories. I have also adjusted slots for these objects!

There are two different trunks in the .zip file; both function as a storage chest, but the one labeled "Portable_LorenRose13Mod" at the end requires the "ATS3_object_chestlike_fisherbasket.package" file from here, where there is further information. Basically, you'll be able to put the modded chest in your Sim's inventory, unlike the regular version! Technically, you can have both trunks in your game, but there's really no point.

Some of these objects come with different texture overlays (but the rest of the mesh is recolorable). See below the cut for all the masks and combinations!

I'm using Red-Green-Blue-Yellow for Channel 1-2-3-4 respectively.

(the legs are still recolorable on all of these, I just got tired of putting the green)

The third channel also recolors the interior part!

There are additional swatches that change the hue of the phone screen!

Look I just really wanted a functional cookie jar. Did I go overboard? Of course! To get these to be functional you do need this file but that’s easy enough, right? Right! Enjoy your cookies. The type of cookies (or any food made similarly) that works in this is the ones from ATS3 or OBP (there’s others out there but I can’t think of them right now). I mean you’re not restricted to cookies, put cupcakes or burritos in there. I don’t judge. On the basic jar, all of them are recolorable except the easter egg patterned one. On the easter jars, all of them are recolorable except the last two. I’m sorry, but making a mask for those designs would have been a pain. Day 2 Update anyone?

There are too many restrictions for gardening on community lots! But thanks to a great idea by @bietjie on the Creators Discord, there's now a way to get around it!

Plant pots!!

These are non-default clones of the EA plant pots that allow you to plant, water, weed and fertilise on community lots!

Simply place a pot on a community lot and you'll unlock the relevant gardening duties on the allotment marker!

They work like regular EA plant pots while on residential lots so don't worry about mixing and matching.

The documentation has been updated so for more information, check that out!

[This requires Supernatural but I believe you can still install the mod if you don't have that pack. Just don't bother to install the planter bowl packages in the RAR. If you don't have SN and run into problems, let me know!]

Edible Chips - 4 different brands with flavors

I’m a sucker for junk food, and when I found out about Arsil’s Bag of Chips Mod, which brings functional chips to the sims 3, I was excited. But then I found out about a favorite simblr of mine, who goes by the name of @mspoodle1​, who made a revamp designed specifically for that mod, I was even more excited. With her kind permission to use her mesh, I present to you: Edible Chips! They come in four different brands, each with a custom flavor:

Doritos. Comes in two different flavors: Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch.

SunChips. Comes in four different flavors: Original, Cheddar, Garden Salsa, and French Onion.

Cheetos. Comes in three different flavors: Original Crunchy, Flamin’ Hot, and Cheddar Jalapeño.

Fritos. Comes in two different flavors: Original and Chili Cheese.

Note: I Did not make the mesh. Only the textures found from google images. Credits go to the talented @mspoodle1​.

You NEED Arsil’s mod included above for any of these to function like actual chip bags. Credits to him for his wonderful modding skills!
