im so sorry this took forever LMAO... i havent thought much about angie's character so I was a bit stumped. i'll try my best! @sspooky-coffins

favorite thing about them

her character design is really solid, and she has great sprites! I really like how in drv3 they added more expressiveness to the sprite engine (angie turning from side to side, himiko hopping). i also like that angie's character can be interpreted a lot of different ways. does she actually believe what she's saying, does she not, is she manipulating people to get what she wants, is she doing so to protect people, etc.

least favorite thing about them

this is probably a gimme, but the localization team did her dirty by using the real name of an actual deity. i hear there's a lot of weird localization choices in drv3 though, like with gonta and momota... anyway. angie was also one of my least faves at first because of her culty behavior, i didn't find it charming lmao. but after reading a few character analyses I dont mind her as much.

she might claim that atua is the one behind all of her artwork because she's afraid of her artwork being criticized. but at the same time, she feels a bit sad that because of this she can't wholly accept a compliment given to her works

is not liking that she involves atua in like every line unpopular...? i would have liked to see her be more vulnerable and truthful for at least a scene, assuming here that she does in fact use religious themes to mask her true feelings.

i bet you can guess! Another oc. OkAY this is phantom quartz! I actually took the time to create them AND remember stuff so I'll put it there

They were originally in white's court, and found another oc im g o n na make while on a mission. (they’re basically used as a special weapon)   they ended up fusing to complete it, and found that they both enjoyed it- and spending time with eachother. Yellow Diamond found out, and attempted to shatter them. She cracked and poofed Other Gem and cracked Phantom Quartz, but before they were shattered Phantom Quartz ran. She is currently on earth in hiding. Other Gem has been inside their gem for roughly a hundred years.

Phantom's 'power' is her scream, which has the power to poof, crack or even shatter gems. The 'worse' her scream is the more damage it can cause. However, she cannot use this many times in a single instance, and the stronger a gem is the harder it will be.

Due to her being cracked, her eye is stuck like it is at the moment, and she can't really see. She does have rather good hearing, however. Her voice is also extremely hoarse and rough. The rips in her clothes do no go away, and she can't mend them even if she tries.

Her weapon is basically a giant axe, as seen in the picture.

She normally attacks those who come near her(she lives in a cave in the woods, with Other Gem's gem), thinking they could hurt her or OG. She appears to be almost unhinged- not listening to reason, simply violent. This is mainly a front put on by fear.

Without the violent front, Phantom is,, much different. She is rather emotional, but doesn’t understand others emotions or how/why they react to thinks she says/does. Of course, she does apologize once she realizes- she genuinely wants to be nice, even if she doesn’t understand why. 

She is also rather skittish and anxious, normally jolting when people move quickly or touch her. When people yell at her or continue touching her when asked to stop, she’ll have a complete breakdown. She can trust easily, but not for everyone.
