Ever since that day six years ago, Anchor's parents have grown extremely overprotective of him, wanting to do everything in their power to ensure that Anchor doesn't meet the same fate as his only friend did.

After having to move out of his hometown, Anchor hadn't been able to leave the house, his parents refusing to let him out of worry and concern for his safety. Despite them not having much money, they try to do what they think is best for their son, and try to protect him from physical harm.

And even though he desires freedom, he knew that arguing, or saying anything wouldn't get him anywhere. His family had always been stubborn. And he knew that they were just worried, and caring in the best way they could.

But he didn't want any of it.

He just wanted his friend back.

The idea of aj even letting Clementine abandon him is so funny to me when in the very first episode of season 4 he held that entire school at gunpoint when she was gone for more than 5 minutes

Tonight's dream: VERY specific, gorey-yet-wacky vampire movie.

String quartet catches the attention of a group of vampires, and tries to survive it by sticking together and building traps. They manage to take out 2 of the four, and almost incapacitate the third, but the final vampire queen summons a horde of demons and eventually STABS ALL OF US THROUGH THE CHEST, PINNING US TO THE FLOOR, IT'S OVER, ET CETERA.

Except, wait. If it was a string quartet, why are there only three of us? Well! The last member, being a bit... different than the rest, was not part of this sleepover.

Which is good, because it turns out that character was a MAGIC BARD with a MANA OF 5000 who shows up to save the day, give his band members a thumbs up, and slink away again.

The rest of the story was the very specific clean-up of the building, because all that blood was DEFINITELY a health hazard.

high school and (especially) middle school were wild looking back on it. I remember once I asked to go to the bathroom because I was sick, was denied, got up and went anyway- because I had to fucking throw up, and I told the teacher that when I came back and didn't get in trouble. but like jesus christ ma'am.

in middle school there was a strict dress code and boys specifically had to keep their shirts tucked in at all times, sometimes the principal or another admin would at random barge into your classroom, make all the boys stand up, and if anyone didn't have their shirt tucked in they would get sent to in-school suspension right away. can't even make this shit up.

Talking to people is so hardddd and I wanna get better at it because, yknow, being on the verge of tears every time someone attempts to say something to you is probably not the best, however to get better at it, I assume that means I'd have to actually... yknow... talk to people... and that's a hard no. Soooo, guess we stuck like this for an indefinite amount of time! Fun!

that post i made last night has sparked a cascade of memories, and there's so much more than i ever thought originally.

memories of banging my head against the desk, biting myself so hard it would bruise, hiding under the table in the cafeteria. getting told off for throwing away food (which i was doing because someone - untruthfully - told me that it made them feel sick to even look at it and the only solution was to throw it away) and then marching me back to my seat where i cried and wouldn't eat anything else.

meltdowns in the playground, pacing in circles along the painted lines of the basketball/netball court, being told off for bringing books outside so i could read instead of "play". either getting excluded from games (which i was fine with) or getting forced into them doing something generally considered humiliating, just so i could be laughed at.

and i was so gullible that i would let that happen, because i didn't even understand that someone else could have harmful intent.
