When the large quake split hawkins in two and unleashed the horrors from another plane - hawkins wasn’t the only town to suffer. the small neighboring town of coolsville suffered the same fate : having four of its own taken as a sacrifice ( daisy Blake, abigail Gluck, harry Harrison, and curt crunch. ) it’s been months since the events - and with the death of eleven ; the portals were not closed and the horrors leak through. coolsville and hawkins fled their destroyed towns and found shelter in a small mining town of festerfalls. they are trying to pull their lives back together but the horrors lurk across the forests and across the mountains.

I went with my mother, my ghestie and my best friend who knew nothing about ghost besides the ranting she heard from me weekly.

And my thoughts after reading it again:

I honestly don't mind if the new papa isn't terzo, Yes, his album is my favorite with many good songs, but if the theory isn't right then oh well

There is a confirmed DVD and digital release. Just no idea when I will be getting the DVD, and I will be passing it down for generations to see/j

Me, my ghestie and my clueless friend were all holding hands for at least 3/4th of the movie, the reason I will remember mummy dust the most is because me and my ghesite went feral.. and my other friend was, well, clueless. TOBIAS LET MARY GOORE THE FUCK OUT. FINALLY!!!

The shirt I wore was literally copia being crucified with a crown of thorns, I WAS EXPECTING HIM TO DIE. but, I am very glad he didn't, I'm honestly stoked because now he does have the power he wanted, and I can totally rp that..

When mummy dust was done, we were all simping for copia.. (pls dont judge us. We are just little guys../j)

I had to hold back a scream when the mummy dust solo started, I love the ghoulettes..

I was so sad when copia was like: "no, no, no encore." Bc I really wanted to hear kiss the go-goat (it was one of my favorites when I first got into ghost)

THEN RAIN SPOKE. IM SORRY??!?!

Then I said over to my friends something like: "Yeah, i need them to do an encore.. NEED to hear, kiss the go-goat live, or I will sob." And of course, THE INTRO TO KISS THE GO-GOAT STARTED. Me and my friends and I just lit up with joy, trying not to cry from what I had just said and what happened.

I remember Square Hammer and the midair splits. The whole theater gasped at the same time. At that point, I was in tears for the 273673rd time. I saw copia do the pose he was meant to, and cried even more.

He went to the hot-air balloon, and everyone was silent. We all saw him wake up, and then sister on the floor.

I remember my friend (clueless one) commenting about copias dramatic crying over sisters' bodies. "Oh yeah, that guy knows how to act!" Joking in a good way, I laughed through my tears.

I don't remember when, but when Copia talked about taint tickling, she audibly, but quietly gasped and whispered something as I just nodded.

MARY ON A CROSS WAS BEAUTIFUL. THERE IS NO DENYING THE SCOOBY-DOO CHASE MUSIC NOW!!

It felt like you were there in the audience, like you were right there in the pit. I'm so glad that this movie is making so much in box offices. It was like an unholy experience I will never forget.

hi bow i know we haven't talked in a while but i have been thinking So Fucking Much about DICE lately so i had to ask. u got any DICE hcs?

heyyyyy first off i am SO so sorry it’s taken me so long to get to this. i’ve been going through a lot of complicated personal stuff the past several months and it’s kept me off of social media…but i am back now! hopefully. i may not be the most active but i will try my best!!

NOW FOR THE QUESTION !!! DICE is a little funny for me…i love them so much and yet my mind’s perception of them constantly shifts…i can never seem to think of anything concrete for them. i love most theories about them to where i can’t decide which ones to believe in myself. like the 11th member…i really like all of the explanations people make for them. from cameraperson to pet to kokichi’s twin. I can’t decide which i like best so they’re all true at the same time for me.

for things that i CAN decide on…hm. Well they are Definitely orphans to me. and i think that like…that horse head in kokichi’s room? they all have one of those. they like to wear them regularly i think. it’s an extra mask. it gets pulled off their faces scooby-doo style to reveal the clown mask underneath.

and i Really like the card nicknames headcanon. but i think they have more than just standard deck names. like there’s Heart, Spade, Club, Clover, Ace, Joker. then you’ve got shit like Wild +4. Basic Darkness Energy. A Deal With Dark Ruler. Sour Cream From Steven Universe. they’re an unpredictable bunch…you can never guess what nickname they’re gonna use next.

the last one actually has an explanation. in an rp from like. jan 2019 i think? it was with DICE members and one of them pointed out how this guy’s hair looks like sour cream from steven universe

and in hindsight their hair is actually not that similar at all they are both just pointy. but that has stuck with me. and it’s funny. so i’ve been calling that member Sour Cream ever since

and speaking of comparing media…i imagine the group to have a dynamic similar to Giovanni’s Boys (gender neutral) from one of my favorite shows, the hit webseries epithet erased. they’re a gang of teenage petty criminals who are initially low-ranking members of an Actual criminal organization pyramid scheme but they eventually leave after giovanni proposes making their own evil organization. they’ve got goofy nicknames like Dark Star and Crusher and Flamethrower and Car Crash (but you can only get one if you earn it). giovanni wants to be a supervillain so bad and he is the sweetest guy ever who loves his minions so very much. these snippets from the book really fit DICE i think!

i look at them replacing hot dogs with cattails, and i nod and think…yes…DICE would do that…stupid but fun…that’s all they want…

they have their differences. giovanni and his boys (gender neutral) are very stupid. but i think the fundamentals of them both being groups of teens who just want to have fun and commit harmless petty crimes and who care so much for each other is Wonderful. i often think of this song to be DICE’s theme song even if i don’t think they are actually like how the banzai blasters are in the song. they’re smarter. But it’s a banger. i find them both very very fun (i think about kokichi saying lines from ee often…i have a list)

And this is not really a headcanon but i like how in the group photo everyone else has pants that at least Reach their ankles but kokichi is a rebel and wears pants that are just slightly too small for him. why does he do that. Weirdo (affectionate)

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! I used to get fewer comments, and it was easier to respond to each of them. Having recently been in some much larger fandoms, though, I've kind of been getting overwhelmed and have fallen behind. I'm so grateful that people take the time to even just send a little heart--to tell me that they read this thing and enjoyed it--and I'd love to respond to everyone, but at this rate I'm not quite sure I'll manage to catch up D:

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Probably either For the Love of You (James Bond, established 00Q, in which Bond is forced to go after Q when he turns out to be a traitor) or either of the fics in the Forever and Ever, Amen series (also James Bond, 00Q, in which Q is a necromancer and won't let Bond die). I've written other dark things, but I tend towards hopeful endings even with those

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most things I've written! I'm a big fan of happily ever after and I write a lot of short fluff pieces. But as far as fics where the happy ending is sort of earned, I'd say maybe He Dreams, Until Such Time (Hades game, gen, in which Hypnos is the Elysium boss fight after having been banished from the House, and Zagreus finds a way to get him back in) or We Have Surplus If We Need It (Pacific Rim, established Newmann, in which Newt tries to figure out who he is in a post-kaiju world and cooks a lot about it)

Do you get hate on fics?

Not particularly. I've gotten a few randos trying to tell me off for writing slash, and one or two people who were clearly just mad at a specific trope and happened to land on my fic, but I've been very fortunate to get largely positive feedback

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do! I'm not sure it's exactly my strongest suit (and, in fact, often worry that it's not very good at all), but I guess I keep at it?? I've written PWP and plotularly significant smut before; whatever serves my purposes at the time

Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Not often, but I have! The first fic I ever tried writing on my own was a Buffy/Scooby-Doo crossover, and I've written a fair bit for Gravity Falls/Over the Garden Wall. Not sure how wild either of those are, though?

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I've been alerted to, but I've been posting fic for something like 20 years now, so it wouldn't surprise me if at least one of them has cropped up elsewhere under someone else's name

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yyyyyes...? Pretty sure I remember that happening! I think it was over on ff dot net, so I don't remember which one it was. Good odds it was one of my Criminal Minds fics, though

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

A few times! I've done RP-style co-writing, round robins, half-and-half, and just plain collaborating. Most of them never reached the point of being able to publish, but they were still fun

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Gotta confess: I don't think I have one. My favorite is usually whatever I'm focusing on at the time; I don't dislike ones I've shipped previously, but they tend to settle fondly into the background once I've left a fandom

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I had a whole Stranger Things fic planned out exploring the potential relationship between Steve and his mom, and I'd love to get at least the bare bones of that done, but there's something about it that just kind of refuses to come

What are your writing strengths?

Characterization and emotion. Emotion is something I feel like I don't identify particularly well in real life, but I think I'm pretty good at getting the intended response from people in my writing. (Also maybe dialogue, but that's just so fun to write)

What are your writing weaknesses?

I! Am! Impatient! I tend to rush through things sometimes and screw the pacing up or skip over important details because I worry writing it out in full will take too long and I'll lose interest. I can also get a little too rigid in trying to achieve a particular outcome, instead of letting the story flow

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't tend to do it, but that's because I'm only fluent in English and don't want to jar anyone with a bad auto-translate job. If someone is speaking another language, I usually try to find a way to signify that based on whether or not the POV character also knows that language

First fandom you wrote for?

It was either HP (forgive me, this was over 20 years ago) or Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Scooby-Doo (crossover fic I wrote when I was, like, nine?)

Favorite fic you’ve written?

Ever?? In my life?? My dude, I could pick a favorite per fandom maybe, but just straight up favorite?? I cannot. Of things written more recently, I'm very fond of Under My Skin (Steddie, exploring the possibility of Steve with physical scars). Of things written slightly less recently, I still have a complicated soft spot for We Have Surplus If We Need It

I JUST WOKE MYSELF UP LAUGHING IM DYINF

I don't know what was going on but it was one of those dreams where I don't know if I AM Yuichi or if I as Luka is also there but it doesn't really matter jdjdh but like this happens a lot when I dream about characters I write/rp/play as

I think it started out where I there was like a little festival type thing around town(?) and everyone bought/made cloaks and stuff and so it was me/yuichi, a buuunch of toudans, and my friends from my d&d group ?? all just like hanging out or whatever, walking around town, I know at some point we went into a thrift store and bought a bunch of novelty stuff??

Idk it was fun.but then Nagasone had to go with Shirley (from Community) and some other people to a big meeting way up a mountain to ...?? idk, make a deal with some executives about the rights to a Scooby-Doo movie??? Idk, that's not important. What is important is that they did not come back down when they said they would so we got worried and went to go up the mountain after them ("we" I think is yuichi, my friend, and several toudans) . On our way up there was a loooot of snow and a bit of an avalanche that happened way up ahead of us, so we were panicked!! We got to where the avalanche happened (by this time we were also very cold and wet and tired) and we started digging around, looking for signs of anybody, frantic, but we didn't find anyone and we were being out in the freezing cold and snow for too long. But then I got a ping (I guess saniwa senses tingling) that Nagasone was a bit further up the mountain somewhere so I like ran and again started digging around, but eventually we made it up to the outer part of a lodge that was at the top (reminded me very much of the church in Saints Row (2022) lol) and I spotted him coming out of the building!!

I was like EEEAAGHHH WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN I WAS SCARED I THOUGHT MAYBE YOU GOT STUCK UNDER THE SNOWWW

and he was like NO IM PERFECTLY FINE I PROMISE! ME AND SHIRLEY JUST STRUCK THIS AMAZING DEAL EVERYTHING IS GREAT

And so we hung out at the place for a little bit but then...

Well I don't know if there was a timeskip or if the place just morphed or what. But suddenly we were at a big version of QuikTrip (my region's fave gas station lol) and this group of just... Random people were holding everyone hostage. They made everyone sit at tables and they had really tiny little guns lol. I had gotten up to get an eclair so I got put at a separate table than Nagasone, and got sat with my friend, Higekiri, and Hizamaru. So I was at this table just holding my eclair while some person points the tiny gun at us, and I remember feeling like it was an act of defiance/intimidation every time I took a bite of the eclair and just stared at them LOL

And I specifically remember whispering to my friend "this is just like we do in d&d: we talk shit about the enemy and it makes them easier to defeat" and so we did.

We were like "why are your guns so small?" "why are you holding hostages in a quiktrip?" "why didn't you lock the doors?"

And then my friend asks "hey, can I see your gun?"

and they LET HER??? so she's like "oh wow--" and immediately points it back at them. And I reach into my cloak pocket and pull out my own teeny tiny gun, except when I pull the trigger the end of it extends diagonally up so the end of it hits the person's glasses with the tiniest of "tink"s. Turns out it's not a gun it's a weird novelty toy. But the person is like "oho, that's clever. It's a shock device". It's not, but I let them think it is LOL

but I guess Nagasone sees this happen and gets worried when some of the other criminals look concerned, so he starts talking to them about their plan and stuff and somehow HE ALSO MANAGES TO GET ONE OF THEIR GUNS???

And then Yamanbagiri and Chougi at another table are called up to ....?? Idk, prove themselves? Demonstrate something? Just do something cool with their swords?

So they get up...

Manba pulls out his sword like normal

But then Chougi has like. A plastic longsword. And I'm like oh my god. HES WEARING MY CLOAK. at some point we had switched cloaks for some reason. I realize I have his sword but I cant get up to give it to him

So he goes to pull something else out of the cloak (I think he's just hoping his katana will be there) and out comes another teeny tiny gun, which he "fires" but it's another one of these silly stupid extender guns. And he's getting frustrated so he tries again, and just pulls out a big fucking two-pronged candelabra that I had (for some godforsaken reason) bought at the thrift store earlier. And he just looks so mortified and I'm sitting at my table trying not to laugh because of how he's holding it and his expression

And so I woke up laughing too lol

Writing it out it really doesn't sound that funny but I PROMISE it was so fucking hilarious watching Chougi just keep pulling out random shit and me being like "oh my god" as I realize that it's all my fault HAHA he was so pissed jfjsjdj

So, that's tough to pin down? Like, what I think is underrated or is actually underrated? As those are very different answers, ya know?

Actually underrated that I see around? Haruhi fandom stuff. Stuff I think is underrated but actually isn't? Love Live fandom stuff, mostly in that I missed a lot of the peak years of the fandom for activity and such, apparently!

The shows we like to watch are anime or cartoons, mattering on the moods. Started Scooby-Doo: Where Are You? (The original first series, I believe?) a week or two ago and didn't get too far because of life stuff.

Neon likes to share Saint Seiya and the Transformers cartoons with us! Last month or so, I also streamed Ferngully, Robots and Happy Feet for a sort of themed movie block. Points if you see the theme without me telling you. :)

Oooorgh, that's a tough one! A lot of them are on here, actually, since I don't have time to read many books anymore.

You've got @somechubbynerd (girlfriend and great fic writer, helped me hone my own writing all these years), @pudgy-planets (Love how she writes her OCs and the Sailor Senshi interacting with each other and their own slice of life things), @justsescape (genuinely someone I consider a master of writing kinky romance that's equal parts both kinky and romantic), @muses-and-odd-fashion (the amount of lore this guy makes is amazing and I deeply respect his work to keep it all together) and @tonbatasonata (the one who actually pushed me to do my canon character blog the most and because I was writing opposite him here on Tumblr, with Taylor. (Yes, I know it doesn't take you there. He deleted the blog last year or so))

Hrrrrm, that's hard to say? There's the basic stuff, I guess. The role-playing scene, here and when I started elsewhere, has changed quite a bit since I got into it from 2007/2008!

My tips are going to be this:

-Have fun! Go into a fandom you're interested in with a canon character you like or maybe make an OC for that fandom? That's what I did to get into the Pokémon RP Community, back in the day!

-Be patient. Roleplaying is a hobby for most. Life happens and the like. At the most, maybe poke someone for a reply after a few days, just to check on them.

-If they'll let you and want to, definitely start roleplaying with your friends. Not saying that you have to, but knowing the other person a bit more on the other side is definitely a big help! And making friends through RP is also good fun! I literally met my best friend of 15+ years and my girlfriend (and also best friend) of 12+ years this way!

-This last one, I feel, is the most important: PLEASE FOLLOW ANY RULES OR DO'S/DON'TS THAT THE OTHER PERSON HAS. You wouldn't want someone to make you feel gross and uncomfortable playing with them, right? So, please do the same for them and take their lists and rules seriously. And hey, make sure you have some of your own posted, so they'll know where you stand on that kind of stuff, too.
