Promotional cards are only distinct from their base counterparts by the white-colored icon in the top right corner. Promos are just alt art versions of existing cards, but are exceptionally rare as they could not be obtained in booster packs or starter boxes, instead only being available as tournament prizes or coupled with other media.

Two sets of CC TCG promo cards exist, one for each booster release. Every Premier starter box comes with a small poster which includes these alt art cards in its set count, however no such list exists for Crime and Punishment that was released to the public (there is only an equally rare promotional poster).

This card is from the Premier release and was obtained via a first-edition print copy of Viz's release of Case Closed Vol. 7 in 2005. A sticker on the front of the volume claims this version was limited to 8000 copies; the card was contained in a sleeve behind the back cover and is the alt-art release of Premier #120 (rare rarity). Interestingly, the wrong art is used on the sleeve the alt-art version is packaged in, instead depicting the standard release.

Early sale sheets for the Premier set show that Score Entertainment intended to print foil cards for this TCG (1 per booster pack). I imagine this was also the plan for promo cards but have heard from other collectors that they ultimately didn't bother as the TCG had already been written off prior to production (however, info about this game being so scarce... I cannot confirm with a source).

bawled my eyes out in therapy about my anatomy scan anxieties but then I felt SO much better after so I think maybe I just needed to outline the worst case scenarios aloud to get them out of my head. then she made me describe all the other possible outcomes, such as: everything is fine, something serious is wrong but it’s fixable or it’s a condition we can manage, something minor is wrong, the results are inconclusive and I have to come back for more testing or see if it resolves itself on its own, etc etc. and that was helpful too, just like reminding myself that there are a range of things that could happen and ‘truly catastrophic’ would actually be by far the rarest of those outcomes. anyway I continue to like my therapist a lot even though literally every week before I log in I’m like ugh why didn’t I cancel this I don’t have anything to talk about. and then it turns out there is some stuff to talk about blah blah whatever it’s “nice” to have someone help you unravel some of the thought patterns that would otherwise just run mostly uninterrupted in the back of your mind.

It sucks when you want to recommend a book but it's really just one scene and the rest of the book is mid at best. I'd love to recommend The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz purely for the scene where the heroine's Catholic priest boyfriend is all "happy birthday here's your present" and the present is the heroine getting triple-teamed in the back of a moving limo by her boyfriend, his ex-boyfriend, and that one guy he honestly isn't very fond of, with each man involved getting scored on his fucking ability by the other two guys (the boyfriend's score is not revealed because we know. we know. we all know.)

but then you'd have to read the rest of the book

I think he’s aimed for girls beyond his social status for sure. But not physical appearance. Hear me out imo the most gorgeous girls still get with good looking guys who aren’t model level gorgeous all the time. Look at any supermodel and who they choose to date. Very few men are equally gorgeous as their gf/wife and this is true among regular men as well. And Nols is objectively a way above average good looking man but he’s no model so I don’t think looks was a problem. Talking about social status - the insta girls/models he DM’d would only seriously consider a DM if it came from a very big public figure or athlete. Unfortunately guys who have money and status are the only guys these girls would look at. And models don’t really go for hockey players for some reason like the best a player can do is Dixie damelio apparently so it is what it is.

Just my opinion he's definitely tried with girls that were physically more attractive then him, he's not an ugly dude for sure but theirs no doubt some girls he’s went for (influencer or not) have just been better looking. It’s just a fact.

I do understand that he doesn't have the same kind of "clout" he had before because he's not active in the league. Even though he isn't an A list celeb or a super known athlete he is still able to get the attention of micro influencers and smaller accounts. Reality is too, half these girls probably don't care if he even plays or not, as long as he comes off or is known to have $$ that can be enough for most lmao.

At one point Paige Lorenze was liking photos of him, vice versa. The interaction probably wasn't that deep, who knows if DM's were even exchanged. Though that's a good prime example of someone who's physically considered more attractive and has a bigger social stat then him, that has given him attention.

BIG side note: This topic of discussion just reminded me of when Jake Virtanen and Chloe Grace Moretz dated for a short brief time LMFAOOOOO.

Surprisingly from the clips I have seen on youtube about the Mario movie it actually seems to be pretty decent for kids and fans of the franchise. 

More of a Mario and Luigi with mutual brotherly love and origin story than anything really. Glad to see Peach is treated as her own character and that she is shown to be very capable. 

Can’t believe it, but they actually make it more Mario and Peach than Mario/Peach, where you can see the potential for romance but it’s really more of a friendship right now. Although I am going to bet that Illumination is planning on making this a new fully fledged franchise so romance will probably follow in the next few movies.
