ICYDK, a workaround method to get the "Gale Dekarios likes you too" scene before Larian fixes the bug
Normally the dialogue option that led to this scene should be available if you bring Gale with you and have “Speak with Animals” buff on when you talk to Tara for the first time in Act 3 (btw, you could find her twice on different rooftops in the Lower City and buy magical items from her). Currently, it’s still bugged and can’t be triggered, and Larian has not fixed it despite people have been reporting this bug to them... So here is a workaround method to get this crucial scene to his character arc:
Requirements: Norbyte's BG3 Script Extender(console version): BG3SE-Updater-with-Console-20231028.zip (this is an old version with a config file that enables the console, it will automatically update once you start the game, or you need to manually edit the JSON file if you download the latest version from the first link)
After you talk to Tara on the rooftop in Act 3, don’t immediately talk to Gale, switch to the console, press enter, copy and paste the text below then press enter: Osi.SetFlag("ORI_Gale_Knows_TaraMentionedDekarios_9ccec403-dc18-661d-ed53-e5472b8145b4", GetHostCharacter(), 1, 1)
Talk to Gale afterward and pick the first dialogue option, Enjoy!
Edit: Patch 7 fixed the bug! The first part of this post is no longer needed 🎉
BTW, if you want to avoid the situation where Gale secretly still wants to become a God after seemingly agreeing to give up the Crown in the boat ride scene and then dump your character in the end, you can check the status of this flag to see if he's truly convinced after you finished his personal quests by copy and paste the text below in the console, if it returns a 0, then he's convinced and won't become a God, if it's a 1, you probably should redo all his scenes in Act 3 after you read the Annals of Karsus and choose more dialogue options that point out the Crown is dangerous, he is enough as he is and does not need to become a God, and kiss him when he protests, and choose less options that stay neutral or encourage him to pursue godhood... This flag is set to 1 as default, so don't panic if you check it before his Act 3 events, it's supposed to be that way.
print(GetFlag("ORI_Gale_State_SwayedTowardsCrown_76150a10-511d-4eeb-b263-46994bab0b48", GetHostCharacter()))
Update: for console players who can’t use the code above to check which ending they’ll get, there’s a way to check it! I made a new post about this, including a list of dialogue options that determine his ending result.
There’s a new mod that fixes the bug where you could not convince him to give up godhood even with a successful persuasion check at the brain stem, with this mod you no longer need to check this flag anymore!

hiiiii!!!! i am just wondering what mods you use to put raphael in the romance cutscenes? i only really have ring of metamorph and that doesn't really work in the romance scenes for me :sob:
Hello there. :) I use these excellent mods together:
1. Appearance Edit Enhanced. This mod allows me to completely change the look of any of my companions, so I can make them look like Raphael in the character creation. Depending on the romance scene, I change the companion I need for that.
2. Raphael Heads. This mod adds Raphael's human and cambion heads to the character creation.
3. Raphael's Colour Preset Archive. This mod has the custom hair, eye and skin colors Raphael uses as options in the character creation. Both human and cambion, Haarlep is also included.
4. Raphael Outfit. This mod adds human and cambion Raphael's outfit and boots. It has both armor and camp versions.
5. Ring of Metamorph. This mod has Raphael's human and cambion form that can be cast onto NPCs. Like you mentioned, it doesn't work with all romance scenes, there are some scenes that revert the applied look. This happens because of the custom body models the game uses for certain cutscenes. For those, I use the Script Extender.
6. Norbyte's Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender. I used the console commands of this script extender to play some of the romance scenes like Minthara's or Mizora's.
All these mods can be found on Nexus Mods. I hope this list helped.

HOLY SHIT OK. So, my saves are fine. All of them. ALL MY GAMES ARE INTACT.
That being said, there are some downsides. I will continue to troubleshoot but Native Camera Tweaks is a no go, the mod author will have to figure out where tf Larian put the camera again (I'm so sorry)
Also the freecam software is in the same boat. ALSO. Launching the game with script extender seems to be fucked. But I'm gonna reinstall it and try again. But for the most part that's pretty fucking seamless for a post patch update. Oh yeah Improved UI or Immersive UI seems to be fucked a bit, I can't tell which yet though.
*edit 1* Reinstalling script extender seems to have worked. The game launches just fine with the SE console. But, the UI mods such as Improved UI and Immersive UI causes everything to not have icons. So those need to be updated to function.
*edit 2* Freecam and Native Camera Tweaks have both been updated and work great!

sorry to bother, i just have a question. how did you put rolans appearance on gales body? ik some people do it through nexus, but im trying to find an in-game mod that allows it
Heey) No worries at all) Listen, unfortunately, there's no easy answer to your question, as I use a variety of different stuff from both Larian's mod manager and Nexus :( So it will all depend on how deep into this you'd like to go and how much you want to modify our boi😅.
Let me go through what I use, but please note that I don't remember ALL the details of specific mods (I have too much s h i t in one pile, downloaded at different times), so make sure to read through notes/recommendations of a specific mod you choose to use :)
And, one more thing - I only play on PC, so no idea what can be done about consoles :(
Long post under the cut:
1. Unfortunately, I think there's still no mod in Larian's mod library (ML) that will allow you to completely substitute Gale with Rolan (I checked, but if I missed it, somebody might correct me in the comments).
See, the reason is, even with earlier mods I remember using (deleted them now), you can't change the companion's race. So, you will just get a human Rolan in the best-case scenario.
Still! If you want to play as Rolan in the game and not deal with Nexus, you can create a male tiefling and give him head (Rolan's head, that is x) ). The heads for many NPCs can be found in Larian's ML. The mod is called "Faces Unlocked."
For further enhanced customization, I also recommend installing the NPC Eye, Skin, Hair Colours, in case you'd want to experiment with creating other NPCs with those heads :) . I don't think it contains Rolan's colors, but his color scheme demands another post to dive into 🙃.
And, finally, the NPC and Outfit Inspired Dyes - contains a LOT of beautiful, in-detail dyes, including Rolan's colors.
NOW, onto Nexus, if you want Rolan to be in cutscenes as companions/NPCs.
1. The easiest way to substitute Gale with Rolan is the Ring of Metamorph. It allows you to turn ANY NPC into one of the options offered by the ring by just using a spell.
Most importantly, you don't need any additional mods from Nexus to run it, or an unofficial mod manager, for that matter. Just download the mod and drop it into BG3's mod folder.
It didn't cause any issues or crashes for my game, so I think it's a pretty safe option.
Also, I believe it is better to have the ImprovedUI ReleaseReady installed, but it can be found in Larian's ML.
There are downsides, however: you cannot modify the appearance of the "summoned" NPCs in any way. You also cannot change their clothes or undress them (you perv).
So, it is not ideal.
2. The most "advanced" version (or at least the one I prefer) is the Appearance Edit Enhanced from Nexus. This one ALLOWS you to change the race and appearance of any of your companions or your Tav. So, to change Gale into Rolan, you will need to select the first option, "Resculpt." It will open a completely fresh character creation page. So, your Gale can become anyone - from elf to half-orc, with any body type and of any class, any appearance) You just sculpt away :)
Note that it is better to save your game before resculpting, just in case.
So, the downside is that you will need Norbyte's Script Extender, which you do NOT place into the mods folder but in a different directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin . More about Norbyte is on its official page. I saw some people saying that Norbite can crash your game, so this is why it is the downside. However, from my personal experience, no crashes were detected.
And you'll need the ImprovedUI ReleaseReady , too, but that we discussed prior.
Sooooo, this is pretty much it (⸝⸝๑﹏๑⸝⸝). If you have any additional questions - feel free to ask :)

How do you come up with so many intricate plots and characters? They seem so… human? I’m very surprised you don’t read much! I guess what I’m asking is, what’s your creative process? Do you take inspiration from aspects of yourself, or is it more of a form of escapism? When you write your plots, do you imagine yourself as the character, the audience, or both?
Another thing that truly amazes me and makes your channel stand out a lot is the way you give the listener a voice. It feels like each listener is so different and unique, and *actually* interacts with the character. It also feels like you’re never spoon feeding us information? All the questions do get answered, but it’s different style imo. Usually, in most ASMR RPs I’ve heard, the speaker will repeat what you said verbatim, (eg. “You think XXX?”, or “You want me to XXX?”), and the frequency at which these types of phrases are used makes it *seem* like a RP. Of course, it’s a challenging medium - the audience needs to know whats going on somehow, but you manage to achieve the same in a much more subtle way. It makes me wonder how long you spend planning out your content haha.
Final question, do you prefer to type or handwrite your plans, scripts, etc? I’ve always preferred planning on paper, even though it’s a bit impractical haha. Also, would you mind showing us your handwriting? I think it says a lot about a person! There’s the stereotype that people usually have a certain handwriting that corresponds to their major/occupation, and if I remember correctly, I think you studied film? I’m just curious hehe. No pressure, of course!
Sorry for sending you an essay, I hope you have a restful and comfy Friday!
Thank you!
Honestly, I don't know how I do it myself considering my memory is absolute shit! Though I don't read much, I learn about characters through other mediums such as television shows and movies. I'll try and break this down for ease of reading!
~My Creative Process~
When making a character or series, it all depends on where my initial inspiration began. For example, with Niall, I wanted to create an M4M series exploring a character who carries trauma of being forcibly outed, betrayed by someone he confided in, and how those events affected him through his adult life. The core of Niall's story was confronting fears that manifested due to the Listener's actions in school, and finding that there was a way to heal, albeit slowly, and a hope to love despite external animosity. Niall exists because I wanted to tell a particular story.
With Zaros, he first came about because of The Noble Trials plot. I knew that he would be different from other characters, so I'm using this series as a means of testing my skill with a new editing style, story format, and new world setting. Although it's more work, I have the most fun with The Noble Trials and making its lore (though I'm always a sucker for that)!
I go into creating characters with the belief that they are all extremely flawed. Whether that be by nature or nurture, there will inevitably be some slew of events in their pasts that shaped the way they act in the current timeline. This also extends to the Listeners so they aren't rigid, boring, and an empty shell. Characters can clash, but they can also change with and for each other. A good example is Isaac's story. He was scarred by his past, and was willing to confine Pickle in the house if it meant not losing someone he cared for again. Pickle was also scarred with abandonment and instability, wondering if they would ever find a home. Isaac gave them a place to belong, and Pickle gave him consolation and courage to face the unknown.
When I write, the character's actions must reflect the backstory in which they were crafted, so I always need to dive into their heads.
~Listener Dialogue~
This requires much more thought to make interactions seem authentic, but there's a fine line between repeating words verbatim and not alluding to any sort of context. I dislike repeating the Listener's words so I try to indirectly insinuate what they were saying whenever possible. If I can do so with SFX alone, that's a bonus! But when scenes contain heavy dialogue, it can be difficult to get the message across without being heavy-handed with repetition, unless that's the purpose of a specific moment.
~Handwriting vs Typing~
I always handwrite my outlines! On some occasions, I can start and finish a script without the help of one, but my workflow tends to include writing an outline of some kind, and it has to be done on paper! I feel like the ideas manifest quicker that way.
However, I always type my scripts. It's much easier to edit, share with other voice actors, and there's a level of professionalism in formatting that motivates me to write more!
Here is an example of my writing. This screenshot was part of a Twitch stream!

Halfling Wyll
It's Working! 😮
I've literally just started, so lots of playtesting to do. I anticipate problems with Wyll in particular because of his appearance change
Wish I had his face, but here's a custom Tav with Wyll's tag added, getting his unique dialogue. This opens up so many possibilities (such as potential character mashups)
Method below the cut:
It goes without saying this can potentially really mess things up. Backup your saves, all that jazz.
You need the script extender installed, and then you need to create or edit a file in your game's bin folder, called ScriptExtenderSettings.json
Add the lines
{ "CreateConsole": true }
This will make the console open when you launch the game.
When you're ready (I did it after waking up on the Nautiloid), you need to type your command into the console and hit enter (the first command I did to add gear didn't work, but it worked the second time, so you might have to try a couple times. You can hit the up arrow to autofill previous commands so you don't have to retype it).
Osi.SetTag(GetHostCharacter(),"GUID")
and replace the GUID. For Wyll it looks like
Osi.SetTag(GetHostCharacter(),"REALLY_WYLL_5f40def5-d3ec-4698-a367-01a339888956")
but you can find more tags here.
I haven't tested it, but you might be able to use this to remove it
ClearTag(GetHostCharacter(),"GUID")
You can also add items (such as custom camp clothes)
TemplateAddTo("UUID", GetHostCharacter(), quantity)
Wyll's Earthy Garb:
TemplateAddTo("bd2ac836-5584-41e5-b4ff-01782c0dec6d", GetHostCharacter(), 1)
Item pages on the bg3 wiki include their UUID
Conclusions so far:
The REALLY_WYLL tag doesn't cover everything. He gets his rapier proficiency from a unique tag for being the Blade of Frontiers. Without the GUID, my halfling warlock can't use much more than a dagger (his blade got scaled down, too 😭)

Coding in assembly is fantastically efficient but I don't get the "run on most machines" part there. If anything, the reason scripting languages got so popular for gaming was that the abstraction let them run on most machines, at the cost of slowing everything down and making it less stable. There was always a push to upgrade to be able to play the newer games. Mind you, the problem was that the older games became harder to play. Space invaders, for example, relied on the load on the cpu to slow everything down. The enemy got faster as you reduced the numbers of things it had to deal with, not because it was coded to go faster. I bought Age of Mythology, Extended Edition, recently. It was unplayable. Why? Because when they remastered it, they didn't think to throttle it down for modern hardware. The sad thing is I used to use Dosbox a lot to play older games, which emulated the early operating system environment, and it let you throttle the speeds way down. That is good to get new players a feel of the game, but it also benefits older/disabled players, who can have a lot of trouble with the newer titles.
But yes, the ability to play demos of games is amazing and it is sad that now everyone pays in advance, and then you get a torrent of complains on launch. Starfield has had scathing reviews, but the pre-orders were enormous, so it doesn't matter if it is dull. It has already made the money. The worst example was Fallout 76. That sold on the reputation of earlier titles but it was a bloody mess on launch, and there was no real warning from early players. Same happened with another procedurally generated Starfield type game. Endless hours of tedium. I can't even remember its name. Huge hype, gets released, people get to see that the giant golden mountain is just tinfoil covered in a thin coat of paint. But yeah I play fallout 4 a lot, and I keep track of the way it uses system resources. It crashes a lot, but I can see it's not really putting much of a load on the system, except when it suddenly decides to overload the gpu when zoning. The explanation for why it behaved so poorly was that it was made for console, the pc port was an afterthought, and they couldn't be stuffed fixing bugs. Ever. Sims 4 had TWO LAYERS of DRM, to stop you from playing it if they decided you shouldn't because you voted for Trump or was a straight white male or whatever. You had to authenticate through Steam, then their own proprietary software, to play you single player game on your hardware. It would fail at weird moments, or tell you it had deleted your files because you must be pirating stuff or something. I never did, and it never told me what it was deleting. It would also randomly break mods, and it turned out on of the reasons was that it would download the expansions regardless of whether you paid for them, but lock out access. Mods worked by relying on knowing what they were linked to, and for them to stupidly assume every player would buy every expansion was idiotic beyond belief, and it robbed the online library of usefulness, because anything built in the past would be broken automatically. You couldn't simply filter the houses for ones that were compatible. You were supposed to buy every damn thing, and you were supposed to only use every new thing, and I noticed a lot of long running youtubers were looking to jump ship to a competitor the second one became available. People would do play-throughs from the earlier games in the sims series to show just how much better they were AS GAMES, so long as you ignore the dated graphics. But yeah, the recent debacle about Az and Starfield shows why I am incredibly wary of all the new games.

BG3 Virtual Photography Supplement: Mods and Resources
Here's some popular and useful mods I use for virtual photography! I will try to update this as I find more. You may find these useful with the rest of my tutorial:
Chapter 0: Overview
Chapter 1: Script Extender Debug Console
Chapter 2: Scene Manipulation
Chapter 2.5: More Scene Manipulation
Chapter 3: Otis_Inf Camera Tools
Supplement: Mods and Resources
Tools
EasyCheat - Teleport to locations near and far, summon armor and items for your characters, clean the dirt off. All at the press of a button!
Lighty Lights - An incredible tool but terribly finicky. Actively being worked on.
Native Camera Tweaks - A Native Mod that allows you to unlock the camera pitch and zoom in and out of combat. It's handy for photo stuff but generally useful.
WASD Character Movement - another Native mod for WASD movement. More precise placement of characters in the field.
Remove Broken Objects - can help clean up sets.
Scribe Object Inspector and Event Logging - sometimes you need to find the IDs of objects in the game. This is an easy way to do it.
Polyamory Mod - can be useful for flag checking but I haven't used it recently. But it may have use for some.
Characters
Full Custom Companions (Hirelings) - have full custom control over hirelings. Great if you wanna add more Tavs to your shots! Have done family portraits for my Tav's family this way, it's so fun!
Recruit any NPC - Make an NPC a playable character. Can be really handy sometimes if you don't wanna do code transformations.
Appearance Edit Enhanced - if you're not using this already, you should be. Modify your characters at any time. Works great with the Custom Hirelings mod.
Transmogs and Spelltheft - identity theft! Another mod that lets you copy the appearance of characters. There was some special case scenario that I used an old version of this but I don't recall what that is anymore. Listing it here anyway.
Ring of Metamorphosis - Another mod for changing your character into several known characters and also INVISIBLE. Being invisible is extremely useful when you start conversations for facial expressions but you don't want another character in the way of a shot.
Effects
Pretty Particles - I've only used this once but if you combine it with Depth of Field, you can use it to get some really pretty bokeh effects. Also, blood and sweat in varying degrees/combinations.
No Annoying VFX - a series of mods that will remove the effects that you may not want for a shot. Like casting glows, glowing armor, UI indicators, among other things.
Posing
Hugs - Hug your companions!! Great for a quick and cute hug that doesn't require any coding.
Kisses - Kiss your companions using anybody animations! For best results cast the spells on a body type that matches up.
Replayable Romance Scenes - what it says on the tin. Romance scenes playable through casting a spell. These cutscenes play in new locations.
Stay Still In Camp and Play Idle Animations Everywhere - basically what it says. Once you switch from a companion to Tav, they won't run back to their tent. They also have some idle animations that are new.
Sit Happens - spawn chairs to sit!
Emotes - Poses and Toggle Walk - TONS of poses to use in the open world. Extremely useful for non-cinematic shots.
Cutscenes
Cut Scene Edits for Better Screenshots - A mod by Moxi that allows for cutscenes to be modified slightly - including forced clothing when you want something custom (shirtless Astarion, for example), removing Karlach's glow from her cutscene, among other things. Take a read through.
Musical Instrument Yeet - Sometimes the instruments pop up in a kiss cutscene and it is really distracting. Remove them with this!
Resources
Moxi's Research Directory - TONS of resources for finding character UUIDs, some copy-pastes ready to modify for scenes, cool locations like Private Camp Rooms and how to get there, Teleport commands. HANDY!
Google Spreadsheet of Tags - for scripting purposes.
Google Spreadsheet of Dialogue Lines - for finding cutscenes you want to script and play.
A few useful ScriptExtender commands.
An In Depth list of Osiris Commands - for advanced use.
LaughingLeader's list of Osiris Commands - another resource for commands.

[Spoilers] Methods to check Gale's true attitude towards godhood to prevent his “Sneaky God” ending (with a full list of dialogue options that determines his human/god ending)
Several people mentioned that they are playing on console and therefore can't check his flag status in my last post about using console commands to avoid his sneaky god ending(it is where you reject his proposal of ascending together in the boat scene, although he acted convinced but will then leave you and ascend to godhood alone), after searching through dialogue files, I found that it's actually possible for all players to check which ending he'll get after you have done his act 3 scenes(book scene, meeting Elminster, meeting Mystra, boat ride scene), but that involves killing him, which is not optimal :((...
So here's how you do it: first, send him to camp, enter turn-based mode, use your party members to kill him in one turn, switch back to your avatar and cast "Speak with Dead" on him, and ask him: "What were you trying to achieve?", if his answer is "Seeking... Karsus' power... failed..." then he's going to ascend at the end of the game, if it's any other answer, he'll remain human. Now revive him or load a save before this event!
You'll need to redo his Act 3 scenes if you got the Karsus answer, and if you want to know which dialogue options you need to choose to ensure he's convinced, I gathered a list of options you need to pick or avoid under the cut. If you really don’t want to kill him, you could load a save right after his act 3 scenes and view dialogue history to count options you chose with each flag and figure out which ending you’ll get.
If you are playing on PC, you have progressed too far in the game and don't want to redo the entire Act 3 when you find out about this, or you just want to see other endings of him with your character without replaying the game, here are some console commands for you to alter his ending using Norbyte's BG3 Script Extender’s console([X]this is an old version with a config file that enables the console, it will automatically update once you start the game, or you need to manually edit the JSON file if you download the latest version from the first link). These codes should still work during the scene when you defeat the Netherbrain before his part starts.
To get the normal human ending, copy and paste the text below in the console repeatedly until it returns a 0

If you wish to do this on other characters, change their flags etc., this list of all the uuids of items, character tags and flags in the game could be useful, and you could look into datamined dialogue files from this post by @roksik-dnd to find which flag you need to look to get things done.
You'll need to choose more options with "PushAwayFromCrown" than "PushTowardsCrown" for his human ending to work, for his god ending, you should choose equal or more amount of "PushTowardsCrown" than "PushAwayFromCrown". You do not need to choose every possible option or ask him to seek Mystra's forgiveness to get his human ending. u/airydandelion explained this mechanism in detail in their reddit post, you should check it out if you want to understand how this works!
Dialogue options with the "PushAwayFromCrown" flag
In the discussion after you give him The Annals of Karsus
Romanced with Player
That crown is an abomination, Gale. I don't need a private conversation to understand that.
Not romanced version
I thought you were past this kind of temptation, Gale. You know exactly where such over-reaching leads.
Or to destroy the next wizard who attempts it. The attempt would kill you as it killed Karsus.
(after choosing "This is no ordinary artifact, Gale. Do this and you'd challenge the gods themselves.") Wallowing in the dirt? Is that what our time together has meant to you?
(Mystra is Player's deity) What you're suggesting is blasphemy. You'd be wise to banish these notions from your head. ['Gale -1']
(after choosing "Gale - I'm urging you to drop this. This Crown cannot be reforged." ['Gale -1'])You're still destined for greatness, Gale. But you won't find it chasing Karsus' shadow.
(after choosing "Gale - I'm urging you to drop this. This Crown cannot be reforged." ['Gale -1'])Don't give up yet. There will be an answer - it just isn't the Crown.
(after choosing "Gale - I'm urging you to drop this. This Crown cannot be reforged." ['Gale -1'])You're deluded, Gale. The crown is clearly dangerous, as is pursuing it.
In Stormshore Tabernacle before meeting Mystra
Seek her forgiveness, Gale. It might be your only hope of curing the orb.
After meeting Mystra
if SwayedTowardsCrown=true (n(PushTowardsCrown)>=n(PushAwayFromCrown))
No, Gale. This all sounds far too dangerous - Karsus' magic must be destroyed.
if SwayedTowardsCrown=false (n(PushTowardsCrown)<n(PushAwayFromCrown))
(after choosing"Is that what you want?") We're going to cure you - I promise. ['Gale 2']
(after choosing"Is that what you want?") You're a great man, Gale. With or without the orb. ['Gale 2']
(after choosing"Is that what you want?") A better incarnation of you, I hope. Not the impulsive wreck who unleashed the orb in the first place. ['Gale -2']
(after choosing"Is that what you want?") And what then? What will you do?
(after choosing "Sod redemption. With the Karsite Weave and the Crown, you could be a god.") You'd be more of a fool for chasing godhood. Take up Mystra's offer - it's the best way.
Boat scene
(Gale has not met Mystra in Stormshore Tabernacle) So much power will only prove dangerous. You should forget it.
(after choosing "I feel the same. Whatever you need of me, consider it done.") Wait. Perhaps I'm being too hasty... and perhaps you're overreaching.
(after choosing "I love you. But for the man that you are. Not the god you'd pretend to be.") Stop his protests with a kiss.
(after choosing any options other than "I feel the same. Whatever you need of me, consider it done." or "I love you. But for the man that you are. Not the god you'd pretend to be.", then ) You're already everything I need you to be.
Dialogue options with the "PushTowardsCrown" flag
In the discussion after you give him The Annals of Karsus
You're a convincing man, Gale. The crown sounds promising. ['Gale 5']
(Shadowheart origin Dark Justicar route) Mystra is no friend of the Dark Lady. If you can dethrone her, you have my support. ['Gale 5']
(Player is a wizard) The pursuit of knowledge and power is in our nature. There's no question - you must do this. ['Gale 5']
In Stormshore Tabernacle before meeting Mystra
Make her squirm. Tell her the Crown will be ours soon enough.
After meeting Mystra
if SwayedTowardsCrown=true (n(PushTowardsCrown)>=n(PushAwayFromCrown))
Of course. ['Gale 1']
We're usually inclined to agree on moral matters. That's good enough for me. ['Gale 1']
Morals be damned - this is an incredible opportunity. You must take it. ['Gale 1']
I'm right beside you. Time to make you a god.
if SwayedTowardsCrown=false (n(PushTowardsCrown)<n(PushAwayFromCrown))
(after choosing "When you put it like that, it sounds rather easy...") I thought you were more ambitious than this, Gale. Why settle for mortality when immortality is on the table? ['Gale 2']
(after choosing "Sod redemption. With the Karsite Weave and the Crown, you could be a god.") You're right. This opportunity is too good to pass up. We need to get you that Crown.
Boat scene
(Gale has not met Mystra in Stormshore Tabernacle) I'm here to support you, no matter what you want. ['Gale 10']
(after choosing "I feel the same. Whatever you need of me, consider it done.") Kiss him.
(after choosing "I feel the same. Whatever you need of me, consider it done.")(Karlach origin without the second heart upgrade) You know I would if I could. But I'll sit with you as long as you'll have me.
(after choosing "I love you. But for the man that you are. Not the god you'd pretend to be.")You're right. We should not deny ourselves such a gift. The crown must be ours.

anonymouscatt replied: Appearance edit enhanced on Nexus will allow you to change origin characters appearance, including jewelry I believe. You will need to download the BG3 mod manager, Improved UI, and Norbyte’s Script Extender to use this mod but it can be done (assuming you are on pc and not a console). :)
will definitely look into this because gale deserves a new earring lol
i've never tried video game mods before but tbh if there's a mod that lets me make gale wear an earring that isn't mystra's symbol i will fucking learn how mods work

fighting for my life trying to get my skyrim oc (and npcs) to look good
#i started modding skyrim on console and then i was like#maybe it'll be better to mod if i do it on pc#we have xbox gamepass so that's how i did it cross platforms but gamepass acts like the game is rented so certain files are locked when#modding the game#i wanted to download a mod with better sliders for character creation but THAT mod (racemenu for those who are curious) needs skse which is#a script extender for the mod files so i downloaded that after some confusion#but since my game is categorized as 'rented' with gamepass skse can't work properly and i can't use that mod properly or else my game will#crash and so i was like i want to LOOK GOOD that is my ONE THING#and i also want to have the npcs look better but since gamepass doesn't let you tweak textures i needed to own the actual game#so i went to a grey market seller because steam is selling the special edition for $40 USD and the grey market was selling it for $9 total#so i attempted to buy it (slightly scared) but then it didn't go through#so i did it again and it finally went through for some reason and now i am downloading it to steam#but i need to go through the modding process all over again and with that to boot i'm starting all over in the game#i'm like level 11 on console and it's taken me a LONG time to get there#we shall see#sigh#dianna.moon

Hellu, what mod do you use for changing the origin chars completely? Just wanna keep a look out if these mods someday in the future land on console 🥹 (Unlock Mirror does only so much...curse my younger self for buying the game for console urgh)
Yeahhhh I don't think it's gonna be on console ;w; It's "appearance edit enhanced" and "appearance edit origins" specifically that unlocks the ability to completely change a character to replace an origin. and as far as I know it's not on mod-io or console mods. It uses script extender and I don't think any mods that use that are on console.
