RECOMMENDED READING: This is a roller-coaster. My limited experience slinging hash rings true to Bourdain's irreverent pseudo-autobiography of the depraved and psychotic. Anthony Bourdain's narration is so blunt and honest that I literally laughed-out-loud on multiple occasions, yet at the same time he balances out the crass humor with an authentic love for creative and delicious food. There is a nice sanguine balance between 70% obscenity and 30% actual character development. Try to avoid reading after eating a meal as "Kitchen Confidential" will make you hungry.
