Inkling HRT 01- Medications

Hi there! I’ve been considering about doing an Inkling HRT story for a while, but didn’t feel confident enough to post it until now. This is kinda a more indulgent thing, so I hope you enjoy!

Silver had been playing video games for a long time. She had picked up Splatoon from a friend's recommendation, and needless to say, she fell in love- especially enjoying the wide array of anthro sea creatures featured in the game.

Sometimes she would end up doodling Inkling and Octoling characters on her notes, trying to distract herself from the boredom of school.

And sometimes she wished she could be one of them. Silver hated the human body. How it always needed upkeep that she couldn't always keep up with due to exhaustion. Teeth were so annoying to brush and take care of, unlike a chitinous beak. Constant acne that refused to go away, brown eyes with heavy bags.

For a long time it was an in-joke with her friends, trying to spin it into humor to hide that yearning.

Then she got a text.

Hey Silver think you might find this cool.

In it was a link to a post of a dragon girl, captioned with ”24 months dragon HRT- Really happy with the results.“

Silver gasps, and clicks on a hashtag on the post.

There's more of it. An experimental yet effective treatment, allowing those who didn't see themself as a human to be their true self.

Another link, this time to a website. It's for a doctor's office led by one Doctor T. Herian. The about section summarizes the clinic and treatment, along with how to get there. She then finds the page to book an appointment, and clicks on it.

It's simple. Fill out your medical information, desired species, personal info... Silver deals with it quickly, smiling. Maybe this would actually work.

The first meeting was one she was nervous about. Silver had heard a lot about the doctor in question, the fact that he could provide the desired medication, but his reliability was... questionable. That and ethics. But Silver tries her best to not think about it.

The office is in a more decripit part of town, not helping with the shadyness of everything. She shoves the door open with a shoulder, gritting her teeth as it creaks and reveals a waiting room. A lady sits at the desk.

“I'm here for an appointment.” Silver says, trying to be confident.

“Yes... Silver?”

Silver nods.

“Please sit down, the doctor shall be with you soon.”

Silver nods and sits, slightly quivering in excitement and anxiety.

She hoped that this would work out- and could be her desired self, even if it was an anime squidgirl.

“Inkling. Don't think I've seen a request for this one.”

The doctor is a middle aged man, no younger than 40. Gray hair, balding, wrinkles across his face.

He pushes his glasses up.

“It's not going to be an easy change either. On the bright side, due to being fully humanoid you will not have to deal with a crossroad state.”

Silver taps her foot.

“Just explain this already. I want to get the meds.”

“Patience, young one. We have things to go over.”

Silver sighs.

“This won't be easy. You'll be losing all your bones, devloping new organs, and internals fully arranging to accomodate. That and gaining much more permable skin. Luckily I can perscribe painkillers for when that point comes around, which is about 6 months in.”

A stack of paperwork is slid across the table.

“If you're sure-”

“I am.”

“Sign these papers, and you should be able to pick everything up at your local pharmacy in a week.”

Silver does so, and gives the back. The Doc nods, and passes her a envelope.

“In here is everything you will need to know. Have a nice day.”

Silver eagerly nods, and gets up. The envelope is slid away in her purse, and the young woman nearly runs outside. It's finally happening.

Silver can finally be her true self.

A week later, Silver goes to the pharmacy, sitting down in a chair. Next to her is a girl in her late 20s, seemingly going through treatment to be a wolf. She's got the fur, the ears, the snout. But some patches of skin are still there, her teeth still not fully sharp.

”You picking up HRT as well?“ she asks. Silver looks up from her phone, and nods.

”Inkling.“

The wolf lady nods.

”I see. Just be careful, alright? I'm a year in, and still dealing with, how do I put it, side effects...“

Silver wonders if she should press, but doesn't.

”Other than losing all your bones and having your organs rearrange themselves?“ she says, a bit snarky.

”Yes. Just be weary, okay?“

The girl is then called up, and picks up her medication. She then leaves, causing Silver to be on her own.

”Silver?“ the nurse calls, and Silver looks up. She walks up to the counter, and a bag is handed to her in return.

She peeks in the bag. It's mainly pills, though one bottle surprises her- it's made of a crystaline substance, glowing a pale blue. The others aren't as strange looking, being colored tablets.

Silver pockets then in her bag, and heads home.

The “tonight you’ll be miles away and i’ll push you out of my mind” would be damian trying to get over it, shoving them out and closing himself off, their friendship becoming strained.

Are you gonna go self-published with Susan taxpayer? I recently heard about a publisher that focuses solely on indie games called "big mode" n maybe they'd help publish it? Idk if this information is useful i know very little about game devlopment.

oh nah, Susan's not getting published anywhere! It's based off a fangame engine, so I wouldn't wanna do anything more with it than release it on PC anyway. I'm also planning on avoiding publishers in general since I have a few game developer friends who have bad experiences with them. Thanks for the info tho! :D

Senshi, Laios and Dunmeshi Episode 4

When I first read through DunMeshi, a lot of themes, ideas, and characterization flew over my head as I wasn't really sure what to make of it. What was it really going for? That was what I was trying to figure out going into it. Like some sort of narrative detective, I tried to piece together all the puzzle parts but the meaning of it escaped me. And probably for the better because that's kind of the point of Dungeon Meshi. The genius structure that winds through every narrative crack of the story is that it's about understanding. Through the worldbuilding that slowly reveals clues to the walls around the main characters hearts that slowly crumble away, to almost every single way the story is told, Dungeon Meshi works around this core act of understanding. Understanding through knowledge and experience. So, when I watch it now, every single part makes sense holistically. Through that final understanding of the story, each small piece gains more meaning. Dungeon Meshi gains so much from a repeated experience.

So that's why the character I was the most confused by when I read it, now makes so much sense to me that I'm experiencing it a second time through the anime. I'll keep the spoilers for people who've finished the manga below the cut in case any anime watchers stumble across this, but the gist is this: Senshi entering the story and the group makes him into a nearly complete and static character that symbolizes the really important theme of staying true to yourself. Specifically this idea that by staying true to yourself, you will find your place in the world. Senshi, by most others standards in the Dunmeshi world, is someone out of step with common and polite society. Someone that doesn't belong. And yet, by staying true to his ideals, he becomes an essential part of the dungeons ecosystem. He makes his own place in the world. And in connection with that central pillar of Understanding, he does it through understanding the dungeon and the world he lives in and also understanding and accepting himself.

Now if you've read the manga, maybe those idea's have some of your neurons firing, so I'll see y'all after the cut.

So, yeah, if you've finished the manga you probably understand what I'm getting at. And what this episode makes clear. Senshi is basically what Laios strives to be. Free and having found his place in the world. Hell, Senshi even plants the seed that pays off with the stories last few chapters in which Laios becomes the ruler of the Dungeon.

Just as Senshi is out of step with the world, so is Laios, except before Falin's death, though it did drive him to chase his freedom, he didn't reveal it to anyone. That system shock of losing his sister as well as meeting someone essentially living the life he so desires points him to that idea of finding his place by being himself. Which he does. By being himself, he conquers the dungeon and becomes an essential part of the world. By being free, understanding himself and the world around him, and very importantly, accepting all of that, he becomes the ruler of the dungeon.

And while Senshi is an incredibly developed character that has to grow very little compared to the others, his most important act of growth actually comes in the first instance we see him. His trauma has caused him to shut himself away from other and in that first act of reaching out to the party he basically completes the most important stage of his devlopment, though we don't know that until much later on. It's that acceptance of others, another part of understanding the world you wish to find your place in, that Senshi fully realizes his best self.

I'm honestly slackjawed in awe at how amazing the structure of DunMeshi is. Through that final chapter, we gain this understanding of the series that recontextualizes the whole thing, which of course isn't a new idea to storytelling, but the the way it feeds into that central theme and idea of Understanding is just breathtaking. Maybe by the time the first season wraps I'll find better words to describe it but I really hope that idea makes sense. It's basically like the theme escaping out of the story and becoming a part of the active reconsumption of the story. It's so cool.

Opinions on Sailor Moon ships- Het edition (60+ entries spoilers for all versions of Sailor Moon)

Chibi-Usa/Helios- I think she likes the idea of him more than actually him. He's sometimes a horse or posses his own horse depending on your version and yeah little girls love horses but he seems like a less weird proxy for her daddy issues+absolute lack off male figures in her life for 900 years so like. Yeah pretty boy! Also horse! Kiss? Maybe crush? The guy lives in some weird sealed off earth kingdom paradise and. May be as old as the silver millennium era? Which honestly works better as a couple if they're both young people who have lived many life times separated from any semblance of normal life and bonding over their weird lives. Alas, she has a gf

Chibi-Usa/Perle- He's cute! He's nice! He gives cool gifts! He's a fairy! I hope he gets a nice bf in the future and he and chibis can catch up as buds because he's nothing but I still like him.

Chibi-Usa/That Shin-chan kid- I hope she kicks him in his elephant.

Black Lady/Tuxedo Mask- This was a really interesting thing to add to the series to show both how Chibi-Usa does not see Usa and Mamo as her parents, and how she covets maturity and a relationship like her parent's. Mamo in the present is probably the only guy she's known in her life in any meaningful way whose not her father (yet) without knowing about her condition and pitying her so it does make sense she imprinted on him enough for her evil self to be uhhhhh a freak. Great for character devlopment awful for shipping

Chibi-Usa/Mamoru- He's a good big brother to her! He's also going to be a good dad to her! Girl get well soon!

Mars/Jaedite Juptier/Nephrite- These are nothing ships and honestly if you ship them? You should be pissed. You have that single image and a throwaway Crystal line and no fucking development. There's the implied maybe something but frankly pairing all 5 girls and all 5 boys is the most boring thing possible if you want like one or two pairings fine you've been given the ghost of crumbs and I'm sorry.

Mercury/Zoisite- Myu development makes this. Interesting. They have Something there. Nothing that I feel would last or be able to grow into something real or long term but if you want the angst of potential romance between fated rivals and doomed lives, this is the one for you. That said Zoisite is queer be it dating Kunzite or cross dressing in the manga (or being a trans girl?)

Ami/Ryo- He's the reincarnation of one of the 7 great youma who I am assuming were creatures created by either Beryl or Metallia for the siege on the moon kingdom. He also contained 1/7th of her bestie's soul? The photo of her he keeps with the burger seems like its intended to be cute but it comes across weird. I don't like him. He cheated at his exams so I doubt she would either in any meaningful way.

Ami/Taiki(trans guy)- Outside of Usagi/Seiya, these two seem to get along, but only in a platonic way

Ami/Mercurius- This is nothing but also? It's <3< But it's mostly nothing

Ami/Mamoru- Science buddies! Smart dorks!!!! Good friends who sometimes scare everyone else by bonding over healthcare and junk! Yay friends!

PGSM Nephrite/Ami- I don't feel it would be reciprocated but that guy caught feelings and was super cute about it? Maybeee some slightly apathetic love from Dark Mercury? It's a little cute there's something to work with here

Rei/Yuichiro- He's a nice dork! They're cute together! Too bad she's gay!!! Sorry bud!

Rei/Mamoru- Delightfully awful couple neither seem actually into it I hope everyone pokes fun at them down the line about 'remember when you two dated for like a week'. I can see them having some low key bonding about shitty visions and dead parent(s) and Usagi love but never quite getting close.

Rei/Kaidou- Comphet at its finest he seems like a nice guy I hope they still have some connections as he gains some political power while she stands alongside the new queen of earth.

Koan/Rubeus- You! Can! Do! Better! He sucks girl!!!! Glad you got redemption with your sisters

Koan/Yuichiro- Oh they've never met I. Don't. Care. They'd be a good couple since Koan is Rei's counterpart and Yuichi deserves a nice girl and Koan deserves a nice boy.

Makoto/Senpai- I hope he lives to Usagi's coronation and see's his kohai from all those years ago and knows how badly he fumbled

PGSM Makoto/Motoki- Peak het adorable great chemistry only bad part is their wedding will take 12 hours because Kamekichi will be their ring bearer.

Other Mako/Motoki- Cute but just one of the guys she projects on

Mako/Mamoru- Roses and dead parent buddies like rei and mamo low key friends but more likely to hang out together without others

Mako/ Joe//Miisha//Ali//Asanuma- Senpai stand ins with no real feelings. Oh but Asanuma- sorry he's still nothing he's a nice kid but this is not a ship with more than that one scene so good luck if you're into it?

Jaedite/Tethys- Girl you can do better I am right here I am so sorry you fell for this crusty nobody

Venus/Phantom Ace- Wait okay so Adonis was a Venusian right? Hence the symbol? Which yeah the girls has castles and presumably citizens during SilMil but were working under the moon hence being the senshi of the princess. So did Queen Serenity just. Assign residents of the other kingdoms to Earth to, like in this case, him to Endymion's kingdom? I'll accept he was not A Guy like the shittenou during SilMil but I guess in the modern era Beryl of Kunzite identified him as a reincarnated soilder from the Earth-SilmMil war and brainwashed/awakened him to turn him into Danburite? Q.Ser I have so many questions. Anyway doomed one sided romance is Fine.

Venus/Kunzite-I feel this frankly weakens the Miracle Romance? Are all moon ladies attracted to earth men and vice versa? I know they're Something but. Eh.

Minako/Alan- I am always thrown that Alan isn't Toshio and Katrina isn't Sakurada cause like. Similar enough backstories but aww babies first age inappropriate crush good on him for being just a big brother to her

Minako/Toshio- This is nothing I Guess

Minako/ Saitou//Tiger's Eye//Hawk's Eye//Amano//Yaten//Narcissus- I respect her commitment to being the goddess of love but none of these are anything. Maybe Yaten but I think he(she seems the most like a musumeyaku of the three) not liking Mina is the funnier dynamic.

Minako/Artemis- The fact PGSM did not give him a human form that was another child like Luna is a crime. Give her a little brother she can gaslight everyone about. They are family no matter what but frankly we were robber.

Luna/Artemis- Yeah. She deserves better but they gotta fuck.

Luna/Kakeru- I think what we got was perfect. Sad cat gets a kiss and he love interest gets his gf back

Sailor Moon/Tuxedo Mask- Miracle Romance is Fine when he's playing support. The whole secret identity drama is hot in concept but always feels a bit flat to me?

Sailor Moon/Moonlight Knight- If my bf had an alter with its own physical form, I'd be doing some unwell things.

Serenity of your choice/Space Knight- I'm sorry but these two do roleplay when boning and space knight was someone he had at the ready.

Serenity/Endymion- Okay this is The Miracle Romance the whole damn series revolves around. The forbidden love between the royalty of rival kingdoms. This should be peak. But ffs we never see more than a glimpse of it and it's always the most boring thing possible I would love to love the love but god I just can't.

Queen Serentity/King Endymion- They're married they have a kid they run world and uhhhhh she still doesn't know Kanji. This is hopefully just usamamo 2 but we really never get a great feel of them.

Metalia Endymion/Princess Sailor Moon- Hot? Hot. What if I was the embodiment of hatred at the injustice of an early death and pain of a former life, and you were my reincarnated beloved taken over by the very force that destroyed our worlds all those years ago? If they boned it would be so violent like she eats his heart and at least a km of land is destroyed.

Seiya(transMasc)/Usa- I feel this works best as replacement bf angst? Where Mamoru can't come back and she dates Seiya who knows damn well he's a replacement for her love of her lives and he'll never fill the hole in her heart but he wants to try? I'm generally pretty tepid on Seiya sorry

Seiya/Kakyuu- Devotion to the extreme to a woman who can't be exclusive with one of her soldiers. You have some good potential there

Galaxia/Mamoru- Only kissed him to fuck with Usagi which damn girl okay

Beryl/Endymion- The yearning the devotion the conviction being manipulated starting a war for your love. La Reconquista adds that Beryl and Endymion were engaged, so was he in love with her but fell harder for Serenity, or was this a one-sided feelings marriage of convenience? Was everything for herself or for earth or both? Did she hold powers before Metallia? God I love Beryl

Beryl/Mamoru- You were a normal woman doing a job in one of the most remote places in the world, and then you're reminded of a former life you knew nothing of and an evil power is warping you and all you can cling to is your former love who was being manipulated by the woman he fell for. Right? Their love couldn't have been real, not like yours. You have to stop her from hurting him again. You...aren't you anymore. And now. You're dead.

Beryl/Shittenou- Papillon Rose had some fantastic ideas re: Beryl and honestly having the shittenou be her subservient harem Works. Alas, our beautiful girl is too devoted to Endymion and can't even enjoy her boy gang.

Kaolinite/Tomoe- Maybe if you were better to his kid, he would look at you. Lol jk. Anyway this is just Ritsuko and Gendou.

Heavy Metal Papillon/Her baby daddy- Tellllllll meeeeeee about her storyyyyyyy elaborate on these characters

Usagi/Diamande- Gross. Kidnapping and dressing her up as her older self. Boy get therapy.

Queen Serenity/Diamande- ....You were raised on a prison planet and became obsessed with the Queen who sent your ancestors there is a really interesting dynamic. Don't get help I want to see this dramatic shit play out.

Amazon Trio/Any Woman- The ok*ama trio are...gay? Trans? Crossdressers? I hope they get to be happy in their next lives. But for now, y'all are. Gross. Sorry.

Dracul/Le Fay- Yayyyy tragic devotion!!!!

Ali/An- I think they'd be a really toxic couple that would take a long time to chill out but they're gonna fuck other people out of spite while still being stupidly devoted to each other.

Pluto/King Endymion- You are a child and the person who has granted you power places you in charge of time and sets you away from all of humanity while you grow up. During this time you meet: the adult daughter of the person who gifted you this cursed position, her daughter who is your best friend, and a nice man. You imprint on him like a baby bird and then die to ensure he and her and your 5 year old bestie will live. Then you're reincarnated earlier than when the man you like is born.

Setsuna/Mamoru- I think down the line she gets to get that D and all tragic angst and longing is gone. That was nice. Anyway back to hanging out with my two wives, our kid, her gf who is my best friend, and your wife and her friends who I will still get with when asked because polysenshi real.

Michiru/Mamoru- I think she'd be cold to him during hang outs :)

Mamoru/Haruka- CAR BUDDIES silly dorks let them be friends

Mamoru/Seiya- Borderline selfcest no chemistry past in love with the same girl. Could be good friends though

I dont understand half the posts on this Damn blog like This is Goten & Trunks. They are standing right here . They are friends and their personalities have devloped since DBZ, Goten ismore clever and quick and mischevious and self-assured and doesnt care about a lot of things hoenstly. And hes down for anything . The most vivid thing about his personality is when hes tactless enough to put his foot down and be aggressive and it's not in the way that Goku respects no hierarchy (ultimately a respect for Life), it's in the way that a tactless bonehead woul;d be like. But you dont notuice becasue hes a child so you think it's fine. But he nevrer does grow out of it.

And Trunks has changed a lot and it's all found in his newfound insecurity. There';s something fraught about his nature. Like he needs a hug realy bad or something. I just get the feeling that he's running from something. But he's young yet so it hasn't manifested into a complex constellation of trauma symptoms. He just needs a hug and some good honest conversation. And he's a sweet and sensitive boy and he likes VERY MUCH to follow the rules. And he's struggling matching his internal sense of justice (inculcated since birth) with how his parents frequently tell him "no." Is he old enough to start saying "no" back? When wwill he know when it's time to defy and make them proud? Also there's something happening between he and Mai and he isn't really handling it well. He's letting it get all stopped up inside of him and making everything awkwasrd. Just feel your feelings man. Nothing wrong with it . But I get it. He probably feels pushed into it somewhqat. Taht's ok. Take your time man

oh , coraline believes in everything diviniation - from runes , scrying , ogham &. numerology . she believes in witchcraft &. other sort of spiritual expression full stop , she knows that there's something to everything even if she hasn't personally tried it yet . her first introducation to diviniations was miss forcible &. miss spink , the pair of them heavily into witchcraft &. the reason coraline even learned about it in the first place ; them reading her tea leaves , giving her an adder stone &. then looking into the crystal ball was an important thing for coraline ; it was the reason she discovered spirituality beyond catholism , thus her self journey of becoming who she was meant to be within her own self &. what it means to have the power that she does in the grand scheme of things .

in fact , divinations was a practice coraline often dwelled in , espsecially scrying - which is essentially looking into a crystal ball but with water , as a homeless teen with nothing to her name , naturally the cheapest witchcraft was often the best - however the more she was doing it , the more spells she was casting , even protection ones - it freaked her out , especially with the strengthening of her power came the strengthening of her bond between her &. crimson . it all got pushed to the side when seeing glimpes of purgatory , not understanding what it means , coraline simply decided it was none of her business . though as canon goes on , she does eventually find it in herself to practice ; so get ready to see a slow devloping alter in the future canon in its own little room .

once again anon, so so sorry for taking so long to answer this!!

but AAAA i'm so happy you asked me about mitzeee cause she's my favourite topic in the whole world actually <3333

nr. 14 best storyline they had

okay, so i love literally any little story that mitzeee was involved in but there's one clear standout and that is her feud with mercedes!!

there's soooo much to unpack here...

it might genuinely be my nr.1 favourite storyline in all of hollyoaks. there are so many layers to it, so many memorable moments, so much character devlopment.. it's not really comparable to any mess the show produces these days

one of the reasons why it's so good, is that it makes sense for both mercedes' and mitzeee's characters. it elevates their character arc and pushes them into directions they have never been in before. but in a way that doesn't feel out of character. it's at its core a more sensationalist, soapy story but it's still so character driven. you understand the motives of both characters at all times (even if you hate them for it - mercedes i mean lmao)

for one, it's mercedes' villain arc. it's well thought out, it's a slow burn development, it's not random and out of nowhere. it comes at a time where mercedes' character had reached a bit of dead end. we had seen her cheat already so many times and as a result she wallowed in her own self pity. there wasn't much empathy i could feel for her as a viewer cause her misery was entirely self caused. it started to become a bit annoying, to be honest. that endless self destruct self spiral... but then something shifted. mercedes always had a nasty side but this was different. we saw her slowly become more and more manipulative, targeting mitzeee in different, still relatively innocent ways, before becoming more and more extreme, reaching into stalker territory. but it was refreshing in a way. mercedes didn't hold on to that woe is me attitude anymore. she took charge and went down further and further the evil path. of course she was never outright evil. but she was a very well written, three dimensional villain. one who would go to any lengths... and you could tell jen metcalfe had the time of her life playing that as well. she was sooooo good and gave some of her best performances to date

but now onto the actual woman in question, mitzeee...

i already said that this pushed her character in a new direction. a lot of mitzeee's character arc revolves around the contrast between mitzeee and anne. but those lines got more and more blurred. the glamour girl facade had already started to crumble before (with everything that mitzeee had been through with warren, her growing feelings for riley) but this story stripped her bare for everyone to see. exposed all her vulnerabilities, who she truly is and what she truly wants and beyond that.. it was a beautiful arc that played out over may and june 2012 but things quickly got worse again. the paranoia caused by mercy's stalking really affected mitzeee. she became more and more unhinged and unstable until we finally reach that glorious climate when mitzeee was completely off her head on wine and pills - leading to the realisation that mercedes had been her stalker all along, attacking her and mercedes then stabbing herself to frame mitzeee

that leads us to part 2 of the story with mitzeee in prison.. this entire arc is fascinating to me. mitzeee doesn't know if she's innocent or not. she starts to doubt herself, fears that she might be dangerous, that she doesn't even know who she is anymore. she breaks her ties with riley, scared she might end up hurting him. she struggles in prison, becomes more and more violent but then ends up on the receiving end of violence as well. until she finally breaks and loses her grip on reality completely. it's heartbreaking and always a though watch for me but it makes mitzeee such a psychologically complex character and rachel shenton really delivers one stunning performance after the next. truly one of the show's greats

it's generally the acting that makes this story so amazing. jen and rachel are out of this world. my favourite moment in the show's whole history comes in hollyoaks later when mitzeee reunites with mercedes and holds a knife to her throat. it's tense, gripping, slightly homoerotic and so cathartic in a way. if i stabbed you once, i can do it again... chilling

the 2012 later season generally brings out some fantastic moments for this story. mitzeee handcuffed to her inmate lauren provides some brilliant comedy. but also one of her darkest moments when she contemplates suicide, before she leans over and contemplates slitting lauren's throat. drives me crazy

another strong point is also mitzeee's friendship with nancy. nancy is the one person who believes mitzeee unconditionally and is always there for her, willing to do anything to get her out. i adore their friendship so much and the fact they gave them so much angsty material is the reason i will be obsessed with them forever. i wish nancy would mention her again </3

also shoutout to the tragic mitzeee/riley love story. despite the icky origins of their relationships, it really raises the stakes for everything going on. i was just rooting for mitzeee to be happy but it was always doomed from the start

anyway. so sorry i just waffled on for ages but it's a story i'm really passionate about!! it's everything that a good story should be and any innocent in prison stories since have really failed to replicate the that

ALSO, Have I talked about the fact that technically Grape Ade and Grape Juice have NONE left???

Like, I have talked about their relationship of mother-son. But I haven't mentioned that much the fact that they have no other family. No grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins.

And also... Is really fucked up the fact that Grape Juice bio-parents are dead. For Grape Juice and also for Grape Ade since they are also her family (the biological relationship of Grape Juice and Grape Ade is that she is his direct aunt. Basicaly, Grape Juice's actual mom is Grape Ade's sister). And that they also loosed them when they were really young.

Grape Ade was a teen when her sister died, and barely an adult when her brother-in-law did. Grape Juice was straight up and infant and a child. And in such an early phase pf devlopment, they had to cling to whatever they had left.

Wich explains why Grape Ade took the stupid decision of joining the CoD once Grape Juice went to collage. Grape Juice was gone, she acomplished her mission and finally felt free from motherhood and how toxic it was for her. But she also had none left, nothing else to try to be better or to please at any price. And since she could no longer could nake herself suffer thought motherhood, she started uncounciously to search ways to self-sabotage. Aka, joining the CoD.

And also explains why Grape Juice was so desperate to find her. She was the only thing he had left. He lost people at a young age, and he was terrified of loosing another one.
