Sobre mi.

22. Cuasi bilingue (el inglés es difícil, el español es difícil, ayuda), el español es mi idioma natal, y me gustan estos personajes lo suficiente como para sufrir traduciendo.

A lo que voy en general y con este post es dar un poco de contexto sobre qué voy a traducir, como, y qué es Senjuushi. Siéntanse en libertad de preguntar lo que quieran.

Sobre las traducciones

Las traducciones son todas hechas del inglés al español, con un ocasional soporte de "qué dijo en el original y que significa?", y podrán encontrar las traducciones al inglés hechas por @senjuushi al final de cada post.

No son hechas de forma profesional ni mucho menos, pero se hacen con amor para llevar este juego a un nuevo público.

Las traducciones van a estar enfocadas a las modernas de R, pero eventualmente espero traducir algunas cosas de las modernas del  original y tal vez, las antiguas.

El jugador no posee un género definido en el juego, sin embargo, por las particularidades del español, voy a utilizar la forma masculino (ej, amo, en lugar de ama), ya que es la forma "neutra".

Sobre el juego

Senjuushi (o Senjyushi) Rhodoknight es un juego de recolectar cartas, estilo otome, como Obey Me, o Twisted Wonderland, y es la secuela de, bueno, Senjuushi.

Están todos inspirados en armas reales, algunas más famosas que otras, con un grupo de personajes dividido en dos categorías, "modernas" y "antiguas", correspondiendo a que grupo pertenecen sus armas. Por ejemplo, tenemos un FN Fal, un arma moderna y reconocida, así como un rifle Kentucky de la guerra de independencia norteamericana, por nombrar uno. En el primer juego, las antiguas eran las armas de la revolución, y las modernas las que pertenecían al imperio. En este, podemos utilizar ambas, y se diferencian, por ejemplo, en su habilidad especial. Las modernas utilizan la "crueldad absoluta", y las antiguas la "noblesa absoluta". La marca de alguien que invoca mosqueteros (como se les llama a las armas en cuerpo humano) es una cicatriz en forma de rosa, la cual empeora y puede matar a su huésped con la crueldad absoluta, y puede sanar al punto de desaparecer (y hacer desaparecer a los mosqueteros) con la noblesa absoluta.

Independientemente, todos poseen un cuerpo humano, y su cuerpo original, el arma. Herir sus cuerpos humanos no tiene mucha consecuencias, y pueden ser re invocados. Dañar su arma, sin embargo, puede causar daños permanentes. Por ejemplo, Springfield (moderna) tiene una salud frágil, al ser una Springfield (antigua) que fue remodelada, y terminaron siendo armas de poca vida útil debido a eso.

Por norma general, es un juego orientado a un público que prefiere un rol más dominante y de poder, con la posibilidad de elegir tus pronombres (es decir, el jugador no posee un género definido), y se refieren al jugador como "master" o "amo". Y los personajes suelen sufrir bastante, también.

Which of the Antiques do you reckon would love to cuddle? (This is absolutely inspired by me looking at George and wanting to protect him...and looking at Enfield and realizing that he would be an utter monster about getting attention like that).

Surprisingly, Enfield wouldn't be among the top of that list. o3o

George — By far the most shameless about asking for affection, cuddles included! George would be snuggled up to you constantly if that was possible, but he'll be perfectly happy with whatever you decide is enough. And super grateful, of course! Even if it's just a few minutes' worth of closeness, that's still precious time with Master.

Cutlery — Though he's far too shy to admit it, Cutlery really likes to be held. Some dumb, embarrassing weapon instinct delights in being kept close to his Master's side; once he gets over the initial panic over how much it affects him, he's the ideal, lap-sized cuddle toy. Regular affection also helps keep his anxiety levels in check.

Kentucky — He both really, really wants to be good enough to earn that kind of attention, and gets so overexcited over any actual physical contact that it's kind of sad. Kentucky is nearly as cuddly as George if you let it happen, but he has too much self-consciousness to let himself outright beg for cuddles like he so badly wants to.

Charleville — He's adorably weak to anything fluffy and romantic. It's difficult to believe he really deserves so much affection (especially without having to give more in return), but those worries quickly melt away once you're holding him close. Still, Charleville tries not to ask for too much; no matter how good cuddling feels, he can't be greedy!
