She asked me “what do you want to do for your Birthday? --you’d think she’d just threatened my life … instantly, I was filled with this overwhelming dread. Sullenly, I managed to whimper-off something about “nothing,” and quietly left the room. Displeased with my own response. Dissatisfied with my reaction to my own Birthday. The pressure. I want NO MORE thwarted expectations. So … I celebrated my Birthday a week early last night. By myself. I didn't plan it. It just kind of happened, just as the stormy rains that came, it was spontaneous and sublime. While watching the moon pass through the clouds, I thought, “this is what I want to do to celebrate my life, Swim inside the chaos of this crazy storm!” And so, I did. I swam through the rain, thunder and even the lightning! In the wee hours of the early-blue morning, I walked out and into that storm, slipped naked and purposefully into the deepest, and there I stayed, for nearly three hours. Pummeled prayerfully by raindrops; seeking NO protection from the storm. I was IN IT! In the pouring rain, swimming within the pool’s warmth, I had a reckoning. A cluster of epiphanies fell all around me, and suddenly, I understood a little bit more about my place here. I negotiated with God during last night’s storm fury. I was spoken to, heard, answered and loved. We’ve an understanding now. But, oh, the Moon … at one point, she shined so bright, you would have thought she was the SUN shining down. Moonshine is heaven sent. Midnight swims Beneath the first full September Moon, Leave no traces of weariness behind ... B ^ R E  movement - Full moon | September 2017

As we move into this September full moon on the 6th, we are reminded of all the fiery energy that remains from August, the solar eclipse and good old Mercury coming out of retrograde and now have an opportunity to clear all of that energy out and bring in the new water energy of clarity, focus, growth and expansion.

This year has been filled with intensity, shifts and busting old patterns.  Like the tides it’s important to go with the flow and simply check in, have a deeper awareness around what’s taking place energetically and choose to acknowledge, accept and gracefully embrace all the ebbs and flows that come your way. 

As we come out of the fiery charge from the solar eclipse which saw us planting seeds / “harvest” our crops, forecast our visions and left many of us depleted of energy, exhausted and run down, we get to now witness the beauty of these visions come to life.   A blossoming is upon us and with the calming and somewhat forceful energy of the water in Pisces we now get to truly gain deeper understandings of why we’ve chosen what we have this year, complete projects, get clear on our vision and float or dance our way through the later parts of 2017. 

I’m not sure about you, but I know I’ve been in serious cleansing mode, removing all stagnant energy in my home and work spaces, tying loose ends with projects and letting go of all that no longer serves me.   

I feel this moon is bringing with it a sense of completion, achievement and a collective awakened energy that is going to allow us to finally leave the old patterns and limiting beliefs behind us as we move into our new integrated, awakened selves. 

Sink into your intuition this month, take on the more relaxed, calm vibes and as you witness the blossoming of your efforts begin manifesting and planning what’s ahead for the later part of 2017.  

Stay kind, practice the art of self care and trust the process.
