Mew but- but god.

General concept for this "redesign":

Mew is like a forgotten creation God, sure there are references here and there about them but they're never directly mentioned. They're implied to exist but no one's really sure ya know?

Nowadays they just wander about, playing little pranks and messing around for the most part.

Arceus had shaped the universe with it's thousand arms and Mew gave the universe life by scattering it's soul.

Favorite Palamedes moments:

- Failing to catch a keyring Camilla tossed to him from like two feet away. They just hit his hands and fall right on the floor

- Insinuating he's a better necromancer than Harrowhark assuming this will rouse her from her fainting spell (it works)

- Declining Camilla's suggestion to stop working with the cleaning product he's allergic to because he wants to study his own allergic reaction

- Writing a sequel to the mid-tier romance book he's stuck in purgatory with, on the walls of said purgatory

- Hearing Nona say she doesn't think redheads are sexy and immediately going. Well that can't just be Harrow- obviously Harrow thinks redheads are all wildly sexy (and Gideon would be vain enough to agree)

- "Unlike some of us, I've never much seen the allure of an evil cougar" a stronger man than I 🫡

even though she's trying to stick her fingers up his nose and touching his face with damp, sticky hands and pulling on his hair, when he presses his nose to hers and huffs out like an angry bull and tells her quit. it. she just LAUGHS. because that's just her silly dad 🥺

or she starts shrieking just because and he gives her the wildest, most surprised look and she just giggles away. and he presses his mouth to her little ear and tells her, stop y'r screamin' and she pulls away to grin at him, fiddling with her ear before letting out another scream just so he'll do it again 🥺

I know I talk and joke about shipping in dungeon meshi a lot but I honestly really like that this is emphatically NOT a romance manga. The only romance id make explicit if I could is Marcille and Falin but even that it's not really necessary for me to appreciate. It doesn't matter. There are more important things to focus on. The fact that im a horny bitch does not detract from my appreciation for a story that knows what it wants to talk about first and foremost and doesn't feel the need to shoehorn in extra romance for no reason.
