"Vadrigar's Vexing Vessel"

(Based on the Fanfiction: Billie and Seve's Adventures in Love and Friendship)

HA, so much for some mighty demon that's meant to originate from a part of Lucifer himself!! 🤣

It all seemed like the perfect plan: if Vadrigar couldn't seem capable of finally defeating that meddling one-horned buck and thus regain his powers, perhaps he could find a more INDIRECT means of defeat. He couldn't believe he'd never thought of it before: harming Seve through someone dear to him, someone he could actually WITNESS harmed. His heart may have belonged to that equally troublesome Billie, but there's no denying the everlasting importance one "Alexis" had to him.

Somehow, a strange hybrid of wolf and something known as "human" managed to enter this foreign plane, just as Seve once found himself in an entirely different plane of existence. Alexis knew how it felt to be all alone and in a new territory, even if HER story is simply of a young girl being made to move away from an old town. Not only that, but the poor little pup seemed to have challenges with independency if she couldn't even say complete WORDS, let alone sentences. Plus, she was a rather cute and sweet thing that may as well have been a full-fledged puppy.

With the new Claire's arrival, Vadrigar would crush Seve's will to continue his existence: he'd make the surprisingly dangerous kid use those fangs and claws to slaughter Alexis, as well as her husband and even their little child... Everyone else would naturally come next, but they'd never suspect such an innocent-seeming vessel: a mastermind could NEVER be the little pup of sweet features and clearly "stunted" attributes. Luckily for Seve, and even Alexis, Claire's always been a little on the "conditioned" side with affection-- both physical and otherwise. Possessed or not, hers is a body that will naturally fold and prove itself the founding canine for the term: "lapdog."

The concept I came up with for adult Seve as seen in Trevor Coleman and The Black Unicorn and the Destruction of the Interstellar Tomb. This is Seve embracing his indulgent, rebellious attitude. While certainly more mature, he's still the same wild, rowdy, and free-spirited young man. Seve works hard, getting his engineering degree, as he works to build the gateway machine so he can finally reunite with Billie. He utilizes every source of income he can get, from acting as a touring musician, to utilizing his engineering prowess, anything.

I always felt like Seve would be a bit of a metalhead, which is why I gave him a battle jacket. He also wears a pair of leather, fingerless gloves and a bandanna in place of his old red headband, and a few piercings in his ear. I wanted to do something with the ant design on his shirt, so I took a little inspiration from Michel "Away" Langevin's art for Voivod, figuring he'd be into listening to hard, loud music. Of course, he's topped off with the little bell collar Billie presented to him as a parting gift at the end of The Goat of My Dreams. Besides still playing around with his skateboard, he likes to utilize his prowess in the magic he's been trained in by Adrian. He's even taken his souped up motorcycle, the Razor T, and sprinkled some magic on it so that it can fly.

So, there's a Billie Bust Up fan known as Ludo. But there's something really problematic about them.

As you all know, Billie is aroace. And this guy ships them with a character of his, Seve. Ludo, I swear, if you come on here and say "sHE haSNT mEt The RIgHT pERSon", I'm fuckin blocking you.

That's fucking aphobic not just to a fictional character, but also aphobic to the developers, WHO ARE REAL PEOPLE. And it shows a hatred for the lack of interest in romance.

AROACE PEOPLE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SEX OR ROMANCE. PERIOD. Bye, Felicia.

Some people are simply not interested in love. Or sex. Let me reiterate this: I prefer writing as close to canon as possible while also adding my own little quirk. And if you try to bring up the whole possession thing I had in my fanfic, in this case, it's not because Barnaby was interested in Ali (he isn't and only did it to check to see if Ali is really Octavia). Barnaby is ASEXUAL/HOMOROMANTIC/GENDER FLUID. Meaning? Barnaby has little to zero sexual desire, interested in men, and simply gave up on the idea of fucking gender. And I think you see possession as shipping (which, What the fuck, by the way since I use possession in a practical way: for Barnaby to confirm that Ali's soul is his long lost daughter). It's disgusting.

And Billie? That goat doesn't want sex or love. Period. End of story. Find a different way to write Billie that doesn't involve romance or anything like that!

Okay, so I was crying about Billie and Seve's Adventures in Love and Friendship again... Danggit, what does this alternate universe (thus Billie being romantically interested is fine to me) of both CK64 and BBU do to me? So, had to vent out the frustrations of Seve's isolation from seemingly everyone he cares about (at least early on and thankfully it's not forever)... I'm still crying about Alexis, too, danggit!! Also, I know I promised Sunday posting, but it's the night before and I needed to shill this out ASAP to get over emotions.

I got inspired by this Inuyasha song and music video:

I also wanna use it as a "credits" or "advertisement animation" song for The Dreams and Nightmares We Share..., even though it's more a song about "journeying" and "finding a world together" in a more romantic sense.

Well, I can just use it in the literal sense of Seve, Alexis, Sarah, Jimmy and Claire finding their worlds again together in an actual shared journey; plus, love and wanting to "be together" can be platonic, too.

This is Trevor Coleman. He's an OC I made for a one-shot I'm working on for Corn Kidz 64. This nerdy donkey boy is Seve's college room mate, a young man who prides himself in perfection. But he's not necessarily happy with his life. The story I'm writing fits into the Billie's Adventures in Friendship continuity and he will be introduced later on.
