After all what happened, it was finally one of those day where nothing was going on. Of course it could be the eye of the storm but you wanted to be positive and hope for the best.

Shaxx was nevertheless occupied with Crucible, wanting to strengthen their guardians and shaping their skills. He was always over the top, demanding a lot.

But now the day was almost over and the moon would soon reach it highest point again. You were curled up against his hard chest, free of any armor. His helmet also laid forgotten on his table while you two where cuddled up in a large, fluffy seat with enough space foe you two. Beside the seat was a small table where Shaxx nigthly tea stood, still steaming and just slowly cooling down.

Absentmindedly you took his large hand in yours while his other one stroked your back. With fascination you traced the veins of his hands, lightly touching his fingertips and drawing circles on the back of his hand.

After a while you fingers began to follow each finger, from finger tip to the wrist. Stopping only for just a second when your fingers were caught against his rings. Slowly your focus shifted towards them and with lazy fingers you began to turn them on his finger.

One of them was the wedding band of you two. A similar was on your much smaller ones also.

So here it is!! Well, I tried to be as close to the characters as possible without them being OOC. I hope you like it!

(I know they're a little short, I tried my best)

Lord Shaxx

- he'd be...surprised, honestly. Shaxx is the kind of man who encourages your might in the Crucible but he came to terms with your shy and timid nature.

- he finds it cute if we're being honest here, it just goes to show how well your characters go together.

‐ Shaxx is loud and not at all embarrassed by his words while you're a little off to the side and rather not interact with many people you don't know that well.

- So to see you in the Arena, feeling a little off with that tinge of tiredness, not wanting to actually do much except get the match over with, worried him a little.

- Well, that was until you got angry at some hunter taunting you across the map. He's been an irritating thorn in your side this whole time with his arrogant cockiness and that stupid shit eating grin you swore you saw through his helmet.

- Now, Shaxx being the man he is and encouraging your might in his matches, practically thrives off your newfound determination to bring the enemy team down.

‐ He gushes about it aswell, flexing that his S/O was crushing the enemy team and brought the win for their own.

- but he comforts you afterwards, truly. He'll be all over you with affection that same night and tell you how well you did and coo in your ear about your achievements and your victory over that damn hunter.

Cayde-6

- oh jeez...well, okay, Cayde isn't that bad but he'd also be a big encourager on his part.

- he loves the fact he can coddle you and tease you for your shyness and timid nature, finding it incredibly endearing when you blush and try to hide from him.

- he's your voice in moments it really counts in, speaking for you when something bothers you or whatnot.

- but when he (surprisingly enough) managed to get out of the tower and "aid" you on patrol on Mars, he really didn't expect you to start popping Cabal heads with little to no care!

- all because they scratched your armour too! You've been feeling tired already, not wanting to go on patrol in the first place but being tasked by Commander Zavala himself to simply take a look around the perimeter.

- now your new armour has been scratched, you were already tired and these Cabal weren't letting up either!

- Cayde just simply stood off to the side and gawked at you like you were a completely different person!

- his sweet and cute S/O, as shy and timid as they are most of the time, is casually killing Cabal with headshots left and right like they were nothing!

- (he was a little turned on, let's be fair)

- to say everybody in the Tower knew of your little outburst would be an understatement, that loveable Exo of yours could not keep his damn mouth shut.

Drifter

- he might be the damn reason you're so nagged in the first place, honestly.

- so we all know Drifter and how he is, always that bravado he puts on for a rogue lightbearer. He's got an image to uphold.

- so this man would also be an absolute tease, cracking jokes and cooing right in your ear on a private comms channel just to see you get flustered and all.

- but he knows when to stop aswell, don't get me wrong.

- that instance would be when you both were on a mission on Europa. He had perched himself onto a vantage point where he could observe and cover your back if needed.

- you two were just casually chatting around, talking about the most mundane things while you were walking the perimeter.

‐ until...you suddenly got ambushed. You were already tired and these Fallen constantly crawling out of their hiding spots and caves and whatnot just irritated you further. It was supposed to be a simple Intel mission.

- so Drifter, being the good boyfriend he is, covered your back and shot Eliksni after Eliksni while making sure you weren't too overwhelmed.

- yet he did feel baffled when you just popped their head like nothing, like they were flies.

- for him it felt like you and that person sporting your armour were two different people.

- don't get him wrong, he liked you this way. Unbothered and uncaring but it was a stark contrast to your usually sweet personality.

- he did tease you after everything had calmed down and you two managed to meet up but he did make sure to at least try and get you to calm down.

Crow

- oh my god– are you trying to give this man a heart attack?

- not only was he worried because you were already feeling tired, which made you so easily agitated, but you also had to go on a patrol WITHOUT him nearby.

- he knows of your act of....not being bothered with anything at all but he was still worried, he knows you can take care of yourself

- Crow loves your shy behaviour, it complimented his own well. Your timidness making his heart soften.

- he was...shocked? To say the least the first time he caught you in that state of "You breathe at all? Bullet to the head." and it did worry him a little.

- (even a little turned on, dare I say? He's a sucker okay for badass partners imo)

- he tries his best to calm you down if you reach that state of anger or try and convince Zavala to send someone else when you're feeling tired but got handed another mission.

- Crow just wants to care for you</3

The Drifter

the first time you system reboot in front of him he grins like the cat who caught the canary

he will purposely try and fluster you

usually, it's just a flirtatious line or a really shitty pickup line

but sometimes he comes up from behind while you're talking to someone he trusts and hugs you or grabs your ass

he won't do it around anyone though, because he'd rather not get you mixed up in the shit show that is his existence

he'll wink at you in Gambit

if you're good at Gambit he'll make a comment during pre-match about your skill, warning the enemy team

he abuses private comms during matches and will say the raunchiest things intended to make you flustered (to give the enemy team a chance, of course)

Shaxx

he usually greets you with "there's my favourite guardian!" but he's not doing it to intentionally fluster you

he's simply trying to build up your tolerance to flirting so he can give you more PDA

he loves PDA because he loves being able to show off his stunning s/o

he thinks it's rather cute when you get super flustered, but he also knows it's kind of cruel so he eases you into PDA and flirting

when you're confident enough to not combust on the spot, he'll get a bit stronger with his flirting

during crucible matches, however, he gets super excited and forgets himself so expect 98% of what he says to be super enthusiastic flirting

Years later it's here. An answer to your request. I had already wrote something but it didn't safe due to an error and...yeah. Here it is. It's not one of my most prized works but I'm getting back into writing so I hope you still enjoy it.

"let me stay" Prompt

It had been a chilly day when you and Shaxx had taken a little walk in the tower. You had proposed a break to him from the whole crucible vendoring and just wanted to have some time with him. Though your little chat was suddenly interrupted when out of nowhere you heared ships entering the atmosphere. After a second with no sound anywhere you two saw the giant ship come closer towards the city and the round form of the traveler. A Cabal ship you never had seen anywhere. Shaxx hand rested atop your shoulder when he slowly pulled you towards him, hand resting on the gun on his hip. Your hands reached into position yourself when you Ghost transmitted your gun to you. Both of you faced the ship as it got closer and mere second later the first shot was fired. Somewhere in the distance explosions erupted and two felt the earth shaking under your feet. "Go into the city and help as many civilians as you can", his deep voice rang out to you but you only shook your head. You knew Shaxx wanted to get you out of harms way, keeping you safe and protected as the city itself now appeared not as dangerously as the tower which was now attacked almost every second.

"I'm staying. You know I can help here too, there are already hundreds of Guardians down there.", was the only thing you could say now before the first Cabal drop pods crashed in the tower, two almost right beside you. "Let me stay", you could hear Shaxx grumble under his helmet but you were right. You were capable and the tower was almost empty. In the end he was thankful you had stayed, if it wasn't for you he didn't belief he could have kept all the civilians safe that looked for help and were trapped in the tower.

With tired and sluggish steps did you make your way to the comfort of your home. As soon as you came through the door and closed it behind you did your body relax, your shoulders dropped a bit and a sigh left your lips although a bit exaggerated. "Is Shaxx here yet..?" You questioned yourself silently as you walked around the small apartment and took off each piece of your heavy armour. Although you couldn't find him at first you still went into the bedroom and grabbed some spare clothes only to find the gigantic Titan comfortably laying on your shared bed once you had turned around. He looked so content and at such ease you couldn't resist but to tip-toe to his side of the bed and lean down to kiss his forehead, caressing his cheek and murmuring all sorts of praises to his sleeping form...or so you thought, Shaxx was very well awake as soon as you came through the door. Being a Guardian and a former War Lord sure made him a light sleeper sometimes, he heard you walk through the little space you two had decided to share about 3 years ago. Shaxx wanted to get up and greet you properly but going against his intent he decided to stay where he was with his eyes closed, listening to every step you took until you eventually ended up infront of him. As soon as he heard the praises you sang for him with the pampering you brought upon him a warm feeling ignited in his chest and he had to fight against his every urge to smile and pull you into his arms, returning the affection tenfold but he went against it yet again. Seeing as though you drowned his supposed sleeping form in enough attention for now you stood from where you were and went to the bathroom to take a shower. While you were taking yourself a much needed shower, Shaxx was about to implode and cracked a smile eventually, by the Traveler he was so lucky to have you. He was sure to reciprocate every affection you put upon him. When you got out of the bathroom in fresh clothing and a towel around your shoulders you looked back at your Titan, "Gods you are so pretty" you mused as you slowly but surely crept towards the bed and slowly climbed into it, making sure not to wake him although he was awake the whole time but not to your knowledge. You cuddled up to him and sighed again as you felt the familiar warmth and comfortable feeling as soon as his arms engulfed you, out of instinct he also pulled you closer and you couldnt help but to swoon over him even more. "You are such a beauty and so good to me aswell, I love you so much Shaxx" you had said with a dreamy voice as you continued to ramble about him, showering the former War Lord in compliments, praises and a few words of affirmation and gods was he living for it. It wasn't long until you lost your touch with reality and drifted off to the dreamworld while Shaxx himself was almost tearing up at your kind words, he pulled you impossibly closer and kissed the top of your head "I love you too, little one. I'll make sure to shower you in just as much affection as you did me.." he whispered as he rubbed soothing circles on your back and chuckled lightly at your appreciative hum.

• Saint was your mentor when you first came to the city

• he was a pretty great mentor, and a lot less scary then you'd originally assumed based on the storys

• meeting Osiris for the first time was certainly an experience

• it wasn't in present day, it was back when Saint was Titan vanguard

• Osiris came off as... A dick honestly

• Saint played it off as him not always being like that

• Saint became like a father figure and Osiris eventually warmed up to you

Warlocks

• similar to titan, but reversed.

• Osiris was your mentor

• you studied under him alongside Ikora

• he was not easy to deal with, to absorbed in his work to actually deal with two students let alone just one

• Ikora was like your sister, and you once joked that Osiris was your negligent father

• she didn't particularly like the comparison, but she never said you were wrong

• meeting Saint was pretty easy

• he seemed excited to finally meet you as he had already met Ikora

• he greeted you warmly, and asked how Osiris was

• you were shocked at how nice he was, and also his lack of volume control

Crimson Bond

The time of the Crimson Bonds rolled around ever year. A special event of the year. A week to celebrate bonds of all kinds. Families of blood and the families you chose. You watched from the area where Lord Saladin usually gazed from, his Wolves missing in the elaborate set of scenery he always brought to the tower. Guardians of all kinds were paired together, celebrating the weeks events in a variety of ways. Most importantly, they were sharing the Crimson Bond in the Crucible. It could mean anything. A bond of any kind. But you looked on with jealous and longing eyes as couples paired together. You watched from the balcony as they showed some of the most daring pairs, dancing with death, together. Unstoppable. You sighed from the balcony again as another pair received the ribbons that Shaxx was handing out. The titan gave a chuckle and slapped two other Titans on the back as he handed them their red, pretty ribbons and sent them on their ways.

“To die together, Titans, is to die with honour!” He clapped them over the backs again and laughed as they smacked their fists against his breastplate, leaving with laughs as they posed with their ribbons for their Ghosts.

 Your own Ghost bobbed over your head with a sigh, “You won’t get anywhere with him if you stand here and look glum all day!” He bonked you on top of the head with a curve of his shell, “Eyes up, Guardian!” He teased as loud thumps sounded behind you on the metal stairs.

“Guardian!” Shaxx bellowed from the stairway, “Are you missing Lord Saladin that much that you must stand in his place?” He laughed as he approached, hulking form ducking under the ribbons strewn about the place.

“If you set this up, Ghost, we are going to have very serious words when we get home.” You hissed at your laughing Ghost as he disappeared in a flash of white light.

“Are you speaking to your Ghost?” Shaxx asked as he stood alongside you, looking over the balcony, down at his spot in the tower and beyond the wall, to the shattered pieces of the Traveller, “I hear he is one of the ‘stiff ones’ as Ana put it.” The Warlord places his hands on the railing, “Though that is a good thing! Your little light will keep you safer that way.”

“Shaxx. What did you need me for? You’re rambling again.” You teased mildly, refusing to meet his eyes as you looked at the swaths of red ribbons and silk hanging everywhere.

Shaxx tapped the railing, “I am worried. It is not like you to miss out on my crucible events.” He pushed himself upwards and crossed his arms over his chest, “I have not seen you on the sign up lists with anyone. I assumed you would have a line of people wishing to be your bond heading towards the hanger!” Shaxx tilted his head in curiosity.

 It stung. It really did.

 You shrugged your shoulders, “I didn’t want to sign up with someone I barely know. Its supposed to be a special bond, yet…” With a sigh you continued, “I don’t have anyone that special. The lone wolf. Hero of the Red War, avenger of Cayde, whatever else titles I have. I don’t have anyone I am close to. No one special. Just me and Ghost.” You gently reached for your Ghost, stroking a gloved finger over his shell as he span anticlockwise.

Shaxx remained silent for a moment, remembering a time when his own Ghost was his only company, “I know that feeling well.” He commented as you rubbed at your arms.

“That and who I would like to be partnered with…Well I think he has other things in mind. Other people and no time.” You smiled at Shaxx and turned, “I’ll see if I can participate later in the week, Shaxx.”

As you turned, your wrist was taken by the Titan, “You do not have to force yourself to participate for my sake, Guardian. I would rather you be happy doing something else.” He let your wrist go, turning his head back to the Traveller, “But, if you would like to show these loved up Kinderguardians how it is done, my door will be open!” He jeered before looking at your face.

 Shaxx was no fool. He looked into your eyes and saw the sadness. Suddenly he realised that he was not cheering you up in the slightest, and that ached more than anything else could. He’d had knives shoved between his ribs, yet looking at your sad eyes brought him a greater stinging pain within his chest.

“I have offended you.” Shaxx wondered how poets waxed such words when faced with the emotions in his chest, “I am sorry, Guardian. I did not mean to…uh…rub salt into the wounds.” He offered lamely before sighing and releasing your hand again, words swirling in his gut but never escaping.

“Don’t worry, Shaxx. I’ll be fine.” You smiled as you turned away from him, your Ghost bobbing over your shoulder, bobbing gently as it turned to eye the former Warlord, shaking its shell as Shaxx watched you leave. He grumbled and gave the barrier a thump before opening his palm, revealing the red ribbon clutched in his hand to himself again.

His Ghost whirred over his shoulder, “Way to go, Warlord. You know how to recite the tempest and build massive walls, but you can’t even tell someone you love them!”

“Quiet!” He rumbled, “I’ve never done this before!” Shaxx held the ribbon up, “Shakespeare made it look easier, little light.”

“You can’t confess from a book, Shaxx!”

 The week came to a close, and Shaxx was worried. He had not seen you since that day. The crucible was quiet without you. No explosions or team fights against one. Glorious grenade throws were lacking. He was bored. Commentating was still riveting, screaming at the top of his lungs as points racked up. He sighed by the great skull hung over his head and watched the sunset as he tried to think on what he could say.

“Lord Shaxx?” You asked quietly behind him, watching the skull overhead curiously as you approached.

Shaxx jumped in place, helmet turning quickly to face you, “Guardian, please, Shaxx is more than fine, you know this.” He turned to face you properly and placed his hands on his hips, “What can I help you with?”

Nerves swirled in your stomach, “I wanted to apologise…For not taking part in the event. You spent so much time working on it and I spent all of the week cooped up feeling sad…”

Shaxx held up his hand, “You have nothing to apologise for.” He took a deep breath and continued, listening to his Ghost cheer in his head, “I would not wish any companion in the world but you. Nor can imagination form a shape, besides yourself, to like of.”

“No don’t quote The Tempest you great Titan idiot!”

 You opened your mouth only for him to continue.

“I know that was not…” Shaxx sighed as his Ghost battered itself around in his head.

“That was beautiful.” You commented as you pulled his hand away from his helm, “I had no idea you… felt that way. And I definitely didn’t expect the confession through a Shakespeare quote.” You joked as the Titan took your hands tightly.

“Seeing you upset brought me nothing but sadness. I did not tell you for I feared you had someone else. You are a hero. I expected you to sign up first with another. I am sorry it took me so long to find the words.” Shaxx drew you closer, pressing his helmet to your forehead, “I’m not particularly good with words.”

With a smile you kissed the bottom of his helmet, “I’m sorry as well. I…didn’t know how to tell you. You’re a legend, and I thought that asking you with all the other admirers would be tacky.” You looked up at the white and orange helmet before laughing, “Maybe we can make it up to each other with a match?” You asked.

The titan roared with laughter, grabbing you under the arms, twirling you easily in a circle, “You will not last a minute, Guardian! I will crush you!” He roared as you clutched at one another.

“We’ll see about that, you big lug!”

Oh please, I'm so sorry for probably answering pretty late! I really hope you like it and I'm also sorry for the rather short headcanons.

Lord Shaxx

Oh boy, he will be rough. I can imagine him being the top for mostly 96% of the time and he will be.

The rare occassions when you are topping him it’s when he worked hard and is exhausted from the day. Then he just wants to sit on the bed after a relaxing shower and watching you come closer to him. Sitting on his lap and whispering him some honey sweet words in his ear.

At those times the sex will be more slower and more of a ‘love making’. He will praise you for every action and his hands will wander all over your body. His eyes will occasionally look your body up and down but he will be more fixated on your face and getting lost in your eyes.

Always after sex, however it went, he will make sure to take care of you. Getting you cleaned and making sure you are comfortable. After that he will join you in bed and have you in his arms.

You can bet that Shaxx is also the kind of person for random sex in the open. It will be much quicker than usual but he will make sure you will have your pleasure.

Shaxx will also tease you through out the day to give you signs what will be waiting for you at the end of the day.

Saint-14

Saint is the opposite of Shaxx. He will always be making sure you are first and that you feel good. His feelings? How he feels? Who cares, you are his number one.

Praise. Will praise you and talk dirty. He can’t stop it. He is kind of a talker to make up for his…not so soft robotic body.

And before I forget: He has a dick. Don’t worry.

Sain is more of the person to keep this kind of interaction behind closed doors and if you think about teasing him he will ignore you. He will change the subject and talk about something else.

Isn’t afraid to test out other things that you wish. If there is something he doesn’t like or it feels like he is doing harm to you he will tell you so and say he doesn’t wish to do it again.

After sex will also be very soft. Will take care of you and will cuddle with you.
