after a few hours had passed, we continued to talk about our own experiences and how they always connected. i chuckle at how ridiculously foolish it sounds, but i feel like we were meant to be. it's funny how we went from being complete strangers to developing this devoted bond that i never imagined we would, she's what i've always been wanting for.

she sees me for who i am, as if i'm perfect. she opened the door to my heart that i couldn't open for a long time as i feel proud to call her as mine, my girl, mon amour.

Anyways, i noticed not many artists (the ones who catboy-ifying him. maybe its just a me problem tho) give him whiskers, so i gave him whiskers👍

• Gray hairs were a random detail i decided to add, but then i gave it some thought and honestly, his life was (still tbh) stressful - so i guess it works👍

• Made half of his hair (not even stopping at just head hair) white just because im extra sometimes. Like, i could stop at just one streak, but why would i do that?

• q!Pac is a creature indeed👍 He is something alien-esque - fishlike, that's kinda all i can say. More importantly, he glows and can regulate that glow.

• They weren't always like that tho. They were humans for the most of their life, but something happened (I haven't thought of something yet) and now they are like that👍

• Deffo soulmates in a "they are literally bonded by an actual soul" way.

Marcille is my favourite character! tho you might've already guessed that one ahah. She moves the plot around more than anyone else in the story, and I found that really refreshing. Especially after approaching dungeon meshi right after reading a manga that a friend once aptly defined "sausage fest" :'D I also love that Marcille is allowed to be both scarily strong, a bit of a crybaby, and also a huge loser at the same time. She contains multitudes. @ Male authors take notes

Other faves include Chilchuck (he's so no-nonsense. I love him so much), Kabru (he's so me with his people-watching and obsession about figuring out how others think, my god) and Mithrun (is it really surprising I like the guy with trauma?) :') I'm pretty fond of Laios as well, tho I wouldn't say he's a fave quite yet. He's halfway there tho

the whole cast is full of interesting characters, tbh. even those that didn't end up having a special place in my heart were lovable dumbasses and I enjoyed reading about them too

Hello, I have more Earthspark theories and observations! Spoilers for episodes 11-18 and welcome under the cut!

Observation about Grimlock!

I noticed that despite being controlled by Mandroid's device, he was holding back against Bumblebee! It's especially noticeable when you see him more actively chasing and firing at Terrans (he doesn't know them, makes sense) or how controlled Hashtag was acting!

In fact, we can see Grimlock shaking and hesitating to attack when Bee was talking to him. Even after he bit Bee's arm, he still didn't even aiming at Bee with fire, even tho Bumblebee was right in front of him!

( Note: idk why, but I suddenly remember the moment from Norse mythology, when Fenrir bites Tyr's hand! Sure gods wanted to chain him, but Tyr was the one who raised him. Bee must be really good with dinobots, maybe one of few friends they have and Grimlock was forced to hurt him. Gosh I can't wait for new episodes to see all the drama!)

No wonder Grim went into rage mode after the device was removed from him. To express all this shit he went through while being controlled. He needs a hug!

A little theory about Bee and GHOST.

I keep thinking about how it's so strange that Schloder was on Bumblebee's trail. Bee was supposed to be dead to GHOST, and even with energon suppressor, they still were after him! Did someone among bots spilled the beans about Bee?

Or Schloder really saw a yellow car appearing in races ( which tbh is still very far-fetched bc yellow cars aren't rarity ahah) and he decided to catch Bee in all costs during all 15 years? Schloder, as silly as he is, was pretty angry at Bumblebee for "deserting Autobots" and he was talking about Bee like he's some kind-of-evil mastermind who takes advantage of good people like Maltos?

What happened? Did Bee accidentally did something to upset Schloder? Or his sister told him some gross lies about Bumblebee being dangerous to humans? So intriguing!

Another thing that bothers me, that yeah, Optimus is absent right now, which is already sus. The only thing we saw is him sending Bumblebee to find Grimlock according to Bee. And Bee said that Optimus got a tip... from who exactly?

Also, why Optimus would send Bumblebee, who's primary role is scouting and espionage, into basically fight-to-death gladiator matches??? Cmon, there are plenty bots who are stronger and more fit to this mission in hiding I'm sure, so why Bee?

Of course, it can be that Bee was tasked to find Grim, and like Bee he is, decided to prove himself and enter the brawls. And sure, he can fight and even win despite being weak he is. Anways, very curious too!

(UPD: Actually to think about it, I won't surprised if Bee went to brawls himself instead of calling for help bc he might feeling guilty for blowing his cover? So risking his life would be his way to make thing right in a way ( like in old comics when blamed himself for letting Ravage escape on his watch and de decided to capture him solo while Optimus is sulking with self-doubt... only to fall into Decepticon trap. Because he didn't see how exactly Bee is doing yet, only knowing he's sad he can't go home.)

I'm getting the impression that GHOST is after Bee, either to catch him, or even get him killed. But why? During trailer I thought that maybe it was to do with AllSpark bc he was carrying it, but we saw Bee quickly passed it to Op and Megs and it was send back to Cybertron. Yet it feels like Croft has some agenda against Bee in particular. Very curious!

Wow! Wow! First, Elijah's period of rebellion, is a freaking tnusami right here. Then, I'm heartbroken for everyone in this fic. Elijah's been through alot. He's going through a period in his life he wants to feel wanted and for once to know who he really is. There's other stuff going on in his life he hasn't made his parents aware of. He's 16 and don't worry we're going to see how Lando and Charles handle this. But, Charles isn't as hurt by this as Lando.

And yes Nico and reader did get together until she was 21 after the reconnected and they fell in love. Also I've hinted at who Cecile's dad is.

Hakubo doesn't hesitate to do what she asks, and we know Hakubo mostly follows orders of his 'master'.

I do think she could be the being who said to Hanako what to do (so the god he mentions), since she has authority over the mysteries, and Hakubo seemed to not question at all what she said. She could be the one who told ghost Amane that he had to be Hanako-san of the toilet to have his sin forgiven. I do think this is a big possiblity, since as I said, she is the one who appointed Hakubo as number 6. She could have appointed a lot of the mysteries, Hanako not being an exception.

The strange thing to me is that it is pretty clear that she still has to "obey" to Tsukasa (and probably the godlike entity in him). She can only talk to Nene because she knows Tsukasa is not here too.

She is bound to him and can't do what she wants because she asked for a wish from Tsukasa. And we do all know what wishes mean in Hanako kun.

Because of this for example. I do think now it's mostly a lie, or at least something she wished she was. But I won't erase the possiblity of her being human before.

Sakura's goal is to finally go outside and to destroy all barriers between life and death (the near and far shore). I wouldn't be that surprised if Sakura is a god, I don't think it's impossible for a god or supernatural to be bound to another one.

And it is pretty clear to me that she is not from the livings nor from the deads (or she just doesn't care about disappearing) So what can she be expect for a god like entity? (tbh, I also think when she says that, it means that the labels won't exist anymore but I am really really not sure)

I do know that a lot of person think that the god in Tsukasa could be the one Hanako mentions too :0 But I think since there are 'Kamis' in tbhk there isn't only one god. For me Tsukasa has a godlike thing in him but it doesn't erase the fact that Sakura could be a god too. Even some mysteries could be Kamis too, it was said several times. There are a lot of different gods in tbhk and I think it would make sense if Sakura is the one who appointed Hanako as number 7.

And tbh we are missing a lot of 'rules' about the seven mysteries, the gods and links in tbhk to say anything concrete for now in my opinion :// AidaIro probably left some hints but definitely didn't explain

I honestly don't really know what to say XD I think we don't have that much on Sakura and I also think her being named Nanamine (with 7 in her name) is also mostly because we will learn about her with Hanako and Tsukasa's backstory :00 I think we will have some info about her with the mysteries left! For the broadcasting club, they only have Hanako and the clock keepers' yorishiro to destroy (they absolutely don't care about Mitsuba's yorishiro big rip). And I hope we will know more about the seven mysteries and her too in the next chapters ^^

Candy

I really have to thank my mum who sometimes decides to make me watch some shoujo anime out of the blue, so I stop just watching stupid shonen all day. I started watching Candy Candy kind of ironically with her but then I really started liking the anime, although it was made for children I got used to the style after a bit. It has so much charm, it's earnest, it's so sweet that when bad things happen it hurts even more. Life can be all this but also difficult, and seeing Candy braving through all of it was really heartwarming. 115 episodes and I could have watched more. I don't think I would have done the same things Candy did at some point, but she's just better than me lol. She was honestly a really good role model for girls, I'm glad this story exists

I think maybe, aside from Candy Candy, the male characters had more charm than the female ones, but it depends on the person: I had very conflicting feelings on Annie, because sometimes she was not a great friend tbh, but Patty was really sweet. Anthony and Terence were something else tho: Anthony will always be in my heart, such a cutie pie, and Terence is timeless. I really felt like a girl from the 80s cheering for him and Candy ahah

Obviously special mention for my boy Stear, my number 1 fave but I thought he was called Steve for like... 60 episodes. The wonder of watching stuff without subtitles. A total sweetie, loved his arc. His brother Archie is an enjoyable character too, love how he's always ready to throw hands, but compared to other characters there isn't a whole lot

So... shonen are good, but do they make you cry thinking about how fragile young love is. Anthony's death was terrible and probably the first time I thought things could get serious in this time, actually cried for him... The way this completely blindsided me. Their sweet love was true and filled with joy, its end shocked me. But I'm glad that although she moved on, Candy never stopped thinking about him in some way

Terence and Candy were perfect for each other, nothing else to say. Them slowly falling in love at college, Terence being a child-friendly bad boy who actually listened to her, who defended her when she was hassled by her bullies, them growing together. And when Terence left the school Candy had no reason to remain either. Their break up was so painful to me, and later seeing Terence so destroyed made me forgive him completely; that situation totally sucks and it's a bit convoluted tbh, but I understand

I love how in the second Italian dub they snuck "Terence leaving Susanna" in the final episode just to give hope to the readers lmao, I totally fell for it and then my mum told me it was an addition

Albert ??? I had a feeling he was part of the Andrew family but I didn't expect all that. I like his affection for Candy and how their stories tie together so well, especially how they're connected by Anthony. The build up to it was insane. Although I didn't think he could a love interest due to the age gap but I don't mind tbh. From what I understood they do end up together in the manga

I think I have stronger feelings for Terence but in the end every love interest was perfect for the life stage Candy was on, maybe this is the most realistic part, nothing assures you a person will be with you forever

My God, Stear... At first I felt weird saying he is my favourite but who else. He's silly, kind, always there to help, wears glasses (which is always a plus), I loved to see him on screen. Hearing his reasons to go to war made me reconsider him a bit, for the better: wanting to stop "being a rich kid who spends his time making useless inventions", I can see why a boy of his time would decide going to fight for a better future was a good option, even though he knew how terrible war can be. I already found him charming enough when he made "useless inventions" because they were mostly made for his friends, and I enjoyed seeing him becoming more skilled and basically an engineer, taking care of an airplane and making the carillon, but seeing him mature was amazing, realising how lucky he was, while people on the other side of the ocean kept dying and suffering while he lived in luxury. The fact even his brother didn't take him seriously when he told him he wanted to make something more of his life is just so sad. And his death scene ? I actually hoped we wouldn't see it but it was better this way: he saw his dead friend in the enemy in front of him and couldn't shoot. It's a slow and beautiful arc for him, I can't even be mad about it

I peeked at the manga, Patty says they had a vacant grave, I actually wondered watching it if they had retrived his body but that's sombering

Characters exclusive to story 2, more for background sake as Edina Sr is very much dead - although her daughter would be one of the main characters? I don’t know, still thinking about the whole world setup.

Her clan are supposed to be kind of… deity/elemental beast worshippers. They often sacrifice a body part to request the aid of said being - eyes are considered the ‘best’ (window of the soul and all that) but it doesn’t have to be. If the deity deems the sacrifice worthy then they will fuse with the person. If they don’t then often the deity/beast will at least attempt to eat that person instead. Other clan members are there to stop this from happening (it’s a whole big ritual).

Edina Sr is considered to be basically a very low value/nearly failed bonding attempt - she isn’t really able to ‘use’ her magic for the most part. What she doesn’t realise is that she basically bonded with her previous incarnation on ‘earth’ - Edina the Phoenix. She then pretty much passes that on completely to her child as opposed to keeping that herself.

She still has vestigial phoenix powers to herself though, being extremely adept at healing as well as aiding the healing of those around her. She has like… a constant proximity of healing that no one really catches on to ahah.

Guy on the left is, as of yet unnamed King/leader/warlord. (Idk I literally asked a character appearance generator to come up with him/his appearance, and this is what it came up with. I like the white/light blue hair. It’s giving very… male storm vibes.)

As per the clan rules, he’s not royalty by birth but by appointment as those with the most powerful deity bonds are elevated to the top of the pecking order as soon as they become an adult. Like Edina Sr, he gave up an eye for his deity bond.

His deity is basically a ginormous thunderbird that he is able to summon at will (and ride too, hehe). He’s able to rain down lightening/produce electricity and is actually just completely terrifying to anyone trying to oppose him.

Except Edina Sr, because you know - she may or may not be clinically insane. Unfortunately in this world, the infant mortality rate is really high, therefore this guy was expected to produce as MANY heirs as physically possible given his desirable deity bond. It’s not something he actively ‘enjoyed’, having a load of concubines/mistresses and I suspect he was actually kind of lonely.

Until he met Edina! They were probably running out of woman at this point, lol. Then they passed over her like ‘eh, I suppose you could have this one - bit feisty th-’, Edina Sr: I’m going to cut your penis off and make you blow yourself. ;D’ and this guy kind of just went… oh my gOD, yes ❤️

I haven’t totally figured out the rest, tbh I think their relationship was a… kind of toxic/complicated one. Like I think they did somewhat love each other but the duties to the clan kind of overrode a normal relationship. Edina Sr honestly wanted to just run away and not have to deal with clan bullshit - she actually basically runs the hell away whilst heavily pregnant. By herself, on an airship. She managed to get to a small ragtag/multi species village that helped her give birth and then hid herself/her baby away for a while there.

Honestly that was probably the happiest she ever got to be? Clan leader eventually finds her and they have a serious fight, where …. neither of them are playing a round anymore. Unfortunately she’s massively outgunned in power. The village gets involved, there’s literally near enough a full on battle but in the end the guy leaves. To his credit, he didn’t really mean the situation to get so out of hand, but Edina Sr basically gets launched off the side of an airship. He tries to search for her but after like 3 days he isn’t able to so he has to give up. Edina Jr is also smuggled out (as Edina Sr requested because she realised that the baby was going to be taken back into the clan, oh hell no!)

Edina Sr does survive like… barely, she gets picked up by a fishing boat and then when she manages to find a job, tries to start looking for her baby. She works as a ship inspector for exactly this reason, desperately looking for clues and whispers of where her child might be… whilst also staying undercover from the Warlord.

Unfortunately she never gets to reunite, while she gets close multiple times (probably unbeknownst to her). During her travels she gets caught up in war and all sorts of adventures, where she kind of sets aside her own want to find own child in order to help the people around her. She also discovers that she does have the resurrection powers of her predecessor.

Eventually, she dies as a direct result of this - but only after resurrecting a huge amount of people post-battle. (Maybe involving the warlord? Who knows?) Everyone who has been resurrected just kind of goes NOPE. NOT FIGHTING ANYMORE. Fuck this, fuck you! I’m out! I want to live! I’m done with this crap! Including the warlord I think, mostly because he probably did love Edina Sr.

Weh, it kinda sad.

So yeah, that leaves her daughter (Edina Jr) who gets kind of passed from person to person but is mostly helped by wild animals/beasts/monsters who kind of.. love her a lot! She also unintentionally attempted to make a deity bond when she is a toddler and… it doesn’t go well at all. With no one experienced enough to help her, she nearly blows herself up (hence the missing arm/burns). Although it’s more an uncontrolled venting of power that she just… doesn’t know how to control.

Eventually this actually starts get worse as she grows, she slowly is becoming less and less human over the years. In reality she’s basically the accumulated combination of the previous Edina’s (and her father!) and all that power is … way too much for a little kid. ;w; She essentially starts becoming a little goddess, lol.

I mean like they are deff ones that touched me more than others but like literally just thinking of this Q had me big smiling…..I Love interaction, I Love engagement & feedbacks on fics and theyre all so v lovely. I love it when we’re able to go back and forth and stuff…..and jeez there’s that comment that really touched me and still is in the back of my mind. so like long short cut short: there was a lot I was proud in that fic and kinda wished someone talked abt those points and THEY DID…. V EXTENSIVELY TOO when I didn’t at all expected it…. and like, hhhhh this is reminding me now I lot of interactions/feedback and stuff I had that is v Fond in my heart. theyre all so <3333 can’t be grateful enough.

20. What’s the greatest gift you’ve gotten from your writing?

oh, this is such a cute & lovely question….adore it….but really big one too, ahahah. “greatest gift” mmmmh. hard to answer, tbh. I’d say joy !!! because that’s what I got a lot from my writing. I love to write. I love putting those ideas to life. I love rereading them. I love rambling/gushing abt them. it’s only one of my greatest joy in my life. I find it v fun and greatful to have writing in my life. like, lmao, it deff has its down’s but y’know…what doesn’t? and has deff give me much more joy than down’s so <3333333
