Part 2
Part 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
charles_leclerc The day @/y/n_leclerc and I decided to spent the forever together
view all comments
y/n_leclerc Did I mention I'm in love with you? 😭
↳charles_leclerc Yeah I think you mentioned that a few times in the vows, ma chérie
y/n_leclerc I love it when you call me french terms of endearment oh my god 😩
username1 SHE'S HOOKED
↳username2 FOR LIFE 🤞
pierregasly And I really thought I wouldn't see that day
↳y/n_leclerc Life's full of surprises isn't it?
username3 Charles calls her ma chérie, Arthur used to call her mon bébé 😭 do you get deja vu
↳username4 y/n: *breathes* y'all: do you get deja vu omg she used to breathe with Arthur 😭
↳username5 You remember mon bébé but do you remember chouchou? 😭
username3 OMG YES he used to call her chouchou and she used to call him Thurthur 😭
username4 GET. OVER. THEM. Y/n is now married to Charles BESIDES Arthur CHEATED on her. She deserved better than Arthur and now she has it.
pascale_leclerc Congratulations my loves ❤️😘 the wedding was beautiful
↳y/n_leclerc Merci maman🫶
↳username3 Pascale is just happy to have Y/n in her family and I live for this
username2 Maybe it was all Pascale's idea, when she found out Arthur cheated, she told Charles to keep Y/n in the family lmao
username3 And he stayed committed to the job💪
danielricciardo The instant photos part was awesome, I bet it was Y/n's idea
↳y/n_leclerc Yes it was 🫡and it was really nice to see you, Max, Lando and Carlos having lots of fun with it once the alcohol kicked in
charles_leclerc Not to mention now we have some things to blackmail you with
danielricciardo Bold of you to assume I'd be ashamed of any of these, Charles
carlossainz55 Looking forward to seeing Y/n in the paddock more often! 😊
↳y/n_leclerc You know, Carlos, some people have jobs... You should look it up sometime...🫶
↳username5 Is she now gonna go for Carlos lmao
scuderiaferrari Big day for our favorite couple ❤️ evviva gli sposi 👏
↳charles_leclerc Grazie mille❤️❤️
↳y/n_leclerc We're the favorite couple 🥹
georgerussell63 Even though you were engaged I didn't believe you'd actually do it until it happened
↳charles_leclerc Thanks George, supportive as always
Tumblr media
username1 That's what I call KARMA
username2 But when are we going to talk about the argument Arthur and Charles had before the wedding?
↳username3 What were you in their house? Lmao
username2 Another gossip page said that Arthur and Charles argued in front of the wedding chapel
username3 That's so unrealistic, don't trust everything you see on these pages
username4 Hey so do we know if there were any arguments?
↳f1gossip There's no way we'd have any information on that, it was a very private ceremony. That is highly doubtful though, I don't think this could've happened. Even Arthur knows better than acting like this on his brother's wedding day.
username3 That's so right, Arthur isn't dumb enough to act like a dick on his brother's wedding day, he knows it's his own fault
username5 Yeah it would be so weird if Arthur was playing angry now like man it's all consequences of your own actions, be an adult
username6 Even if it wasn't showing, Arthur was definitely dying on the inside. Imagine seeing your ex girlfriend at the altar next to your brother. You're thinking "it should be me with her", but it's too late
↳username7 One day Y/n and Charles will have kids, they'll be a happy family. Charles will have everything Arthur could want - a seat in F1, Y/n as his wife, little Leclerc(s) running around. Arthur will always be the "less successful" Leclerc. No wonder Lorenzo stays out of the spotlight
username8 Now you're making it sound depressing lol
username7 Tbh I cried a little thinking about this even though I know that's what Arthur deserves for cheating on Y/n
username9 I wonder what happened between Arthur and [ex best friend's name]
↳f1gossip She allegedly broke up with him and a few days later was seen on a date with a fellow Formula 2 driver.
username7 This keeps getting better
username9 WHO???? I NEED TO KNOW???
username8 I saw someone say she was seen with that Piñacolada guy
username9 Piñacolada?? Do you mean Franco Colapinto?? 💀

y/n_leclerc Charles isn't my fiancé anymore 👰‍♀️🤵

charles_leclerc I told you it's not the best way to say it
↳y/n_leclerc You can't stop me, tesoro
username1 OMG I've just noticed Y/n changed her username
↳username2 well, she got married...
lilymhe Wedding of the century
francisca.cgomes Every little girl dreams of a perfect wedding. That was this wedding
↳exbestfriend I've never dreamt of a wedding as a kid
francisca.cgomes Girl nobody asked
exbestfriend Why would a kid think about it? Don't they have better things to do? Like playing with toys and BEING A KID?
y/n_leclerc Pls not under my wedding post, get your jealous ass outta here
yoursister I'm so proud of you Y/n 😭
↳y/n_leclerc I know, you couldn't stop crying 😭
yoursister You know it were happy tears, I love you so much 😭
username3 LMAO [ex best friend's name]'s comments are pure comedy 💀 do you think she'll try to steal Charles now?
↳username4 Doesn't matter, Charles will never cheat on Y/n
arthur_leclerc You looked amazing
↳username2 Get the fuck out of this comment section
↳username3 All you can do about it now is cry, you wasted your chance
↳username4 The way Y/n doesn't even bother to reply
alex_albon I bet you wouldn't have the guts to wear the dress to the paddock next race
↳y/n_leclerc You're right, I won't 🙌 it's too beautiful to take any risks
charlottesiine Dream dress 🤍
↳y/n_leclerc I know right 🥹 when I saw it I knew right away THAT'S THE ONE
↳username5 wtf what's Cha doing here
username6 They follow each other since that one time they hung out together
username5 ahh the famous "we both suffered a Leclerc" thing
username7 GUYS I AM CRYING Cha said dream dress, I wonder if she's thinking it should be hers, like she should be in Y/n's place 🥹😭
↳username8 Y'all need to stop, first talking about Arthur, now about Charlotte. Go touch some grass
username7 but, unlike Y/nArthur, ChaCha broke up on good terms, so this could be her
username8 But it's not. Grow up. So disrespectful to talk about it on a wedding post
username9 I am really happy for Y/n and Charles. But I can't stop thinking this could be Y/n and Arthur. Or Charles and Charlotte
↳username7 I bet Arthur also can't stop thinking about this lmao he'll never find someone who'll love him as much as Y/n did
username9 Let's not go that far maybe...?
Tumblr media
username1 Their voices are so similar 😭 do you think Y/n sometimes accidentally calls Charles Arthur?
↳username2 Do you think she sometimes says the wrong name in bed? 💀
username3 This whole story, from the moment Arthur cheated to the end of this interview, is my Roman Empire
username4 I love that they stay on good terms even after what happened with Y/n
↳username1 In this exact interview Arthur said he didn't talk to Charles for WEEKS, he didn't even show up on the family dinners, until one day he understood he can only blame himself
username5 You can see that Arthur is happy for his big brother, but in his voice you can hear the pain 😭
username6 When Arthur said "Now I see what I did was hurtful and I'm glad it was Charles who took care of Y/n after it happened, instead of some random guy who would possibly repeat my mistake" it broke me 😭
↳username7 "Y/n is an amazing woman and I hope Charles will give her everything I couldn't." 😭😭
username8 when Ch asked "do you think you'd deserve a second chance? if Y/n and I weren't married, of course" as a joke and A replied "honestly? no, I was a douchebag and the cheating wasn't the only issue in our relationship, she truly deserved better" AND THEN GAVE HIS BROTHER A BIG SMILE WTF?? 😭😭
username9 At least he realizes his mistakes😭
username4 Not only cheating?? What else?? I need to know immediately
username8 They didn't say it in the video, I doubt they would ever say it publicly unless Y/n decides to speak about it (but I don't see why would she, being happily married now)
username10 They should release one interview of the Leclercs just talking about this whole Y/n situation
Tumblr media
y/n_leclerc Maybe it all happened a bit quick, but my husband is a race driver for a reason

lilymhe I GASPED when I saw the caption
↳charles_leclerc I asked her nicely to look for some basic quote 🙁
pascale_leclerc Can't wait to meet our little Leclerc❤️
↳y/n_leclerc You'll be the first one to find out❤️
yoursister That's how I find out? Through a post?😭
↳y/n_leclerc I wanted to surprise you 🥹
yoursister I'm kidding, I'm happy for you guys 🩷
francisca.cgomes Someone check on Arthur
↳y/n_leclerc KIKA!!!!
↳username1 I love Kika 😭
↳username2 Jokes aside someone really needs to check up on him
arthur_leclerc It really suits you 🩷
↳y/n_leclerc Don't say that to Charles, he already told me he'd like 2 more 😭 I don't think I wanna go further than just this one
charles_leclerc I'm not gonna force you! If you wanna stop at one, that's fine by me
y/n_leclerc We can get a puppy instead? Right now it would be perfect so the puppy and the baby can entertain each other and grow up together
charles_leclerc Alright, ma chérie, we can talk about that 😂
↳username1 "I hope Charles gives her everything I couldn't" 😭 so that's what he meant
↳username2 Alexa play the one that got away by Katy Perry
username3 I just know Arthur will be the fun uncle omg
↳username4 I don't think he'll spend much time with the baby, if I were him it would always make me think "wow, that baby could be mine if I didn't mess up" 💀
username3 It seems like he understood his mistake and came to terms with the consequences. Plus, he didn't say it, but I feel like in the video shared by the gossip page he implied not wanting kids
username4 What do you mean? How?
username3 "I hope Charles gives her everything I couldn't" and then said the cheating wasn't the only reason for the breakup and now, a few weeks pass and we get the pregnancy announcement
username4 Well, maybe getting cheated on didn't work out so badly for Y/n in the end
alex_albon Project Verstappen? 😏
↳georgerussell63 *project Hamilton
charles_leclerc *project Leclerc 😌
alex_albon Better start saving up for the baby's therapy then

Baby fever
Pairing: Mac Verstappen x Girlfriend!reader
Warnings: baby fever
Summary: Max gets the baby fever after seeing Y/n with his nephews.
Tumblr media
I always knew that my life was destined to follow the straight and fast line of a Formula 1 track. Since I was a child, racing cars were my focus, my passion. The idea of starting a family one day was always there, but it never occupied my thoughts. At least, not until I met Y/n.
From the first time I saw her, I knew she would be the love of my life and the person I wanted to build a future with. But we live life one day at a time, and even though we’ve made plans for the future, it wasn't something we were in a rush to pursue.
My sister Victoria gave birth to little Hailey a few weeks ago, and today we were going to meet her for the first time. She and Y/n have been messaging each other every day since Hailey was born, trying to find the right day for our visit.
When we arrived, Victoria and Thomas were in the living room, visibly tired but radiating happiness. Besides the little baby, they also had my two other nephews, who, though older, still required a lot of attention. I couldn't imagine how exhausted they must be.
We eagerly approached to meet little Hailey.
"You arrived just in time," Victoria said, her voice soft but full of enthusiasm. "She just woke up. Do you want to hold her?"
I was going to hold her first, but seeing Y/n’s eyes shining with emotion and excitement, I quickly gestured for her to go ahead.
Victoria handed Hailey to Y/n, who took her with the utmost care, then sat on the couch and patted the spot next to her for me to sit beside her. Y/n held her for a while before handing the baby to me before she fell asleep so we wouldn’t disturb her.
The light weight in my arms was something incredibly significant for me, even though I had held Luka and Lio many times when they were babies, every time felt like the first.
Hailey, with her big, bright eyes, looked at me with innocent curiosity. She had rosy cheeks and a serene expression, almost as if she were absorbing the world around her for the first time. My heart, accustomed to the fast pace of racing, seemed to slow down in that moment.
Y/n moved closer to me on the couch, gently touching the baby’s arm. "She’s so beautiful, Max."
"She really is." I replied, still surprised by the strength of the emotion washing over me. There was something deeply moving about holding this small human being who was part of my family.
As Hailey moved her hands slightly, almost as if she were trying to hold someone’s finger, I began to imagine what it would be like if that baby was ours. A part of me always believed I was far from being ready to be a father, that my life was too fast-paced to accommodate something so big and important. But in that moment, I felt a shift, something I couldn’t ignore.
"Are you okay, Max?" Y/n asked, noticing the silence that had settled between us.
"Yes," I replied, smiling softly. "I’m just watching her. I'm afraid to speak too loudly and scare her."
She smiled back, but there was a deep understanding in her eyes. Y/n has always been able to read me like no one else, and I knew she understood that I didn’t wanted to share what was on my mind at the moment.
After a few minutes, Thomas entered the room with Luka, my oldest nephew, who immediately ran into Y/n’s arms. They’ve always had a special connection, something I’ve always admired. Seeing the two of them together brought me a quiet joy, something I was beginning to value more each day.
Y/n had disappeared for a little while earlier while I was still holding the baby. When Hailey fell asleep in my arms, I handed her back to my sister, who went to put her in her crib. Tom had just gone to put Lio down for his afternoon nap, and I went to find my girlfriend.
I heard laughter coming from the backyard, where a scene unfolded that made my heart leap once again. Luka was laughing, running around the yard with contagious energy, while Y/n chased him, their laughter mingling in the air in a way that made the world seem lighter.
I stood there for a moment, just watching. There was something deeply familiar about Luka, as if I were looking at a miniature version of myself. It was something we always laughed about because he looked just like me. Y/n was always amazed at how similar we were, saying he could easily pass as my son.
He was the spitting image of the Verstappen family, and seeing him so happy and at ease with Y/n made me think about how she would be as a mother.
I always knew Y/n had a special way with children, but seeing the genuine and joyful connection between her and Luka made something bloom inside me. An idea that, until then, I had kept somewhere distant in my mind.
"She gets along well with him, doesn’t she?" Victoria’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
"She really does," I replied, without taking my eyes off the scene in front of me.
"Are you thinking what I think you’re thinking?" she asked, smiling as if she had caught me in the act.
"Maybe," I admitted, feeling my face heat up. "I never really thought about it before, but... I think something has changed."
Victoria nodded, understanding without needing more explanations. "Babies have that effect. They make you see the world in a different way. And from what I see, you and Y/n would make great parents."
“Thank you. She would definitely be a great mom,” I said before starting to laugh at their giggles.
The idea hit me with an almost frightening clarity. What once seemed like a distant dream now felt like a real, tangible possibility. I knew my life would never be normal, that the travel, the races, and the constant pressure would always be a part of me. But seeing Y/n laughing with Luka, I realized there was room for something more. For a family. For a future that, until then, I had never dared to imagine.
As the sun began to set, painting the sky with soft shades of orange and pink, Y/n approached me, still smiling, her face lit up by the simple happiness of the moment.
"What is it?" she asked, noticing my expression.
"I was just thinking," I replied, gently pulling her closer to me, "that maybe one day... we could have something like this."
“Like?”
“A house with our kids running around.” I said and she looked at me, surprised, but then her smile widened, full of love and understanding.
"You think so?"
"I know so." I said, with a certainty I never thought I would have. "And I can't wait for it."
"I can't wait either," she said, giving me a quick kiss. "Though I find it almost impossible to imagine a child that looks you than Luka. But I’m sure that if our kids look like you and we take Luka and Lio with us they’ll all look like our kids."
I started laughing as Luka continued to play around us, and with the soft sound of the wind filling the space between us, I realized that the dream of having a family, something I never knew I wanted, was becoming clearer. It was a dream I wanted to share with Y/n, a new kind of race that I was eager to begin.

Is it weird that I want to know Leah's POV from Part 2? Like, what's going on in her head? What's with her reactions? Thank you for a beautiful fic, by the way. Keep on writing!
Ask and you shall receive.
In the original version of the story, I had included Leah’s POV, but I decided to remove it to concentrate more on the reader’s emotions and perspective.
But since you asked so kindly, here’s the version with only Leah’s point of view.
(Btw thank you for the compliments, I appreciate it🫶🫶)
Full of love (Leah’s POV)
Part 1
Leah Williamson x reader(past)
Alexia Putellas x reader
———————-
Ending things with Y/N was, without a doubt, one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made, but deep down, I knew it was necessary.
The love I once felt for her had faded, and I couldn’t ignore the growing unhappiness in our relationship any longer. It wasn’t fair to either of us to continue pretending.
Looking back, I have to admit that the way I handled it was far from right. I should have been honest with her sooner.
Instead, I distanced myself, ignoring her and, in doing so, only caused her more pain. When she told me she deserved better, she was absolutely right. She deserved so much more than the half-hearted efforts I was giving her.
Y/N was truly one of the kindest and most selfless people I’ve ever known. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and valued, and I was no exception.
Those five years we spent together weren’t just filled with good memories—they were some of the best years of my life. I was deeply in love with her, and she brought me so much happiness during that time.
But somewhere along the line, something changed. I don’t even know exactly when or why it happened, but I fell out of love with her.
It was one of the most painful realizations I've ever faced.
This was the woman I once dreamed of marrying, of building a life with. I imagined us having children together, growing old side by side. But as much as I wanted those things, I couldn’t force the feelings that just weren’t there anymore.
The break up was devastating, not just for her but for me as well. It felt like I was tearing apart everything we had built. Yet, in a way, it was also a relief.
It was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders because I was finally being honest—with her and with myself.
I wasn’t living a lie anymore, and I wasn’t continuing to hurt her by pretending everything was okay.
So, while it was the hardest decision I've ever made, it was also the right one.
Y/N deserves to be with someone who loves her wholeheartedly, and even though it hurt to let go, I hope that by doing so, I’ve allowed her the chance to find that happiness again.
——
It’s been four months since Y/N and I broke up, and during that time, she has meticulously avoided me.
It’s as if she’s made it her mission to steer clear of any interaction, as if even the slightest chance of crossing paths is something she desperately wants to avoid.
Watching her like this has been incredibly painful for me. I can see the depth of her unhappiness, and it’s crushing to know that I’m the cause of it.
The once vibrant spark in her eyes has completely faded, leaving them dull and distant. It’s a stark contrast to the person she used to be, and I feel a deep sense of regret for what I’ve done.
Her attempts to appear happy around our teammates are painfully transparent. To others, her smile might seem genuine, but I know better. I can see through the façade she’s putting on.
There’s a heaviness in her expressions, and the joy that used to accompany her presence is now absent. It’s clear that she’s not truly happy, despite her best efforts to project otherwise.
It’s heart-wrenching to witness her struggle while knowing that I’m the reason for her suffering.
We were gathered in the meeting room, a place that usually buzzed with discussion and camaraderie.
Today, however, it was different. Jonas gave a subtle sign to Y/N, who stood up from her seat, her movements betraying her nervousness.
She walked over to stand next to him, her posture tense and her hands clasped tightly together.
When she finally spoke, her voice wavering. “I want to let you all know that I’ve decided to leave Arsenal and join Barcelona,” she announced, her words hanging heavily in the air.
The shock hit me like a physical blow. I couldn’t process the reality of her departure. The idea of Y/N leaving Arsenal—leaving me—was inconceivable.
My mind raced, but I found myself utterly speechless. The room fell into a stunned silence, the usual hum of conversations replaced by a heavy stillness as everyone absorbed the unexpected news.
I saw Y/N glance my way, and in that moment, she caught the full extent of my shock. Her eyes were filled with a mixture of sadness and resolve, and it was clear she was aware of the impact her decision was having on me.
Beth began speaking to Y/N, but her words seemed distant and muffled as I struggled to process what was happening.
The noise of the room, the soft murmur of conversations, all faded into the background.
One by one, the other girls began to rise from their seats, moving toward Y/N to offer her hugs and words of support.
Their gestures were heartfelt, and they tried to provide comfort, but I remained rooted in my chair, unable to bring myself to join them.
I felt a profound sense of helplessness and disbelief, paralyzed by the gravity of the situation and the sudden void that Y/N’s departure represented.
“Leah,” I heard a soft voice, calling out for me
I looked up, her eyes meeting mine, and I rose from my seat, moving closer. “Y/N, you can’t just leave. Arsenal is your home, your family. We’re your family,” I said, my voice trembling.
“I know,” she murmured. “But you need to understand that I can’t heal here. Not with you here and the memories of us everywhere I turn. It feels like a huge part of me vanished when we broke up. Arsenal no longer feels like home; something has fundamentally changed. I’m not happy here anymore, and I need to address that. I can’t just stay and be miserable.”
Tears welled up in my eyes, and I quickly blinked them away, “Are you leaving because of me? We can still be close, even if we’re not together. I can still make you happy as a friend. You don’t have to leave.” I begged her desperately.
She gently took my hand, squeezing it reassuringly. “Staying friends will only complicate things for me, Leah. I want you to know that I will always care about you, but this is something I have to do for myself. I need to find a way to move forward.”
I nodded slowly, my voice barely audible. “I understand. But that doesn’t make it any easier.”
“It won’t be easy for me either,” Y/N admitted,“But I genuinely believe it’s the right choice.”
I remained standing in silence for what felt like an eternity, overwhelmed by a flood of memories and emotions.
My mind kept replaying the moments we had shared, the laughter and challenges, the bond we had built over time.
The realization that she was leaving for another country and joining a different club hit me hard. The weight of it all was crushing.
Finally, I broke the silence with a sigh. “When are you leaving?”
“End of the season,” she said quietly. “I want to make sure I finish things here properly, give it the closure it deserves.”
i just nodded sadly“Okay. I suppose… I’ll see you on the pitch.” I simply said and walked away.
Being around her was excruciating, knowing that she would soon be leaving. It was a constant reminder of the impending separation and the emotions I was struggling to keep in check.
I had to remind myself not to be selfish, even though it hurt to see her in pain.
Despite the fact that my feelings for her had changed and I no longer loved her in the way I once did, my care for her remained profound.
I wanted her to find happiness, even if that meant her leaving and starting anew.
Seeing her unhappy was unbearable, and if moving to another country and joining a new club was what she needed to feel fulfilled, then I had to accept that.
——
I saw Y/N again at her farewell party, but I made sure to keep my distance, avoiding her as much as possible.
I wasn’t keen on attending in the first place, but Lia had insisted, arguing that it would be disrespectful not to be there with the entire team.
From where I stood, I watched her quietly. Despite the sadness of the occasion, she appeared a bit more radiant tonight.
Maybe the anticipation of her new journey was lifting her spirits, providing a sense of excitement that was hard to miss.
As the evening wound down and people started to drift away, I felt a heavy weight in my chest. I refrained from hugging her, knowing that if I did, I would likely dissolve into tears.
Instead, I gave her a brief, gentle pat on the shoulder and offered a simple, “Good luck,” before turning and walking away.
It was a difficult moment, and I knew that this might be the last time I’d see her for a considerable period.
The reality of our separation felt almost unbearable, and I wanted to leave before my emotions got the better of me.
——
Today, I’m in Barcelona, visiting Keira after a long time apart. It’s great to reconnect with my best friend, and I’m looking forward to catching up.
However, being in Barcelona also means I’m bound to see Y/N, especially since Keira invited me to join her and some of the Barça team at a bar tonight.
The thought of seeing Y/N again brings a swirl of emotions.
When Y/N joined Barcelona, I asked Keira to give me updates on Y/N. I was hoping to hear that she was thriving and happy.
Keira, at one point, mentioned that Y/N had become close with Alexia Putellas, which made my heart skip a beat.
It stirred up feelings I hadn’t anticipated, a mix of curiosity and something deeper that I couldn't quite place.
When I arrived at the bar, I took a moment to scan the room, searching for Keira. That’s when I spotted Y/N, and I was struck by how beautiful she looked.
Barcelona seemed to have suited her well; she had a glow about her that I hadn’t seen in a while. Alexia was beside her, her arm resting comfortably around Y/N’s shoulders.
It was a familiar sight, one that reminded me of how I used to hold her similarly when we’d go out with our teammates.
As I made my way toward Y/N, my nerves were on edge. She noticed me, as did Alexia. I watched as Alexia leaned in, speaking softly to Y/N. I saw Y/N nodding, and then Alexia placed a tender kiss on Y/N’s forehead.
It was a gesture that resonated deeply with me, reminding me of the affectionate moments we had shared.
Seeing this intimate display stirred a mix of nostalgia and regret, leaving me to navigate the complex emotions swirling within me as I approached them.
“Y/N,” I said, my voice shaking a little. “It’s good to see you.”
“You too, Leah,” she replied, her tone light. “How’s London?”
God,I missed the sound of her voice.
“It’s… London,” I said with a small smile,“How about you? Barcelona seems to suit you.”
“It really does” she admitted. “I love it here. The city, the team… everything.”
I glanced around, taking in the lively atmosphere. “I can see why. It’s beautiful.”
A brief silence fell between us, and the unspoken tension was palpable.
I could hardly believe that, after all these months, she was standing right in front of me. It felt like seeing her again for the first time.
“So… Alexia?” I asked tentatively but curiously,“You two seem close.”
Y/N glanced over at Alexia, who was chatting with Keira but I noticed that Alexia still kept an eye on Y/N, looking her way every once in a while. Y/N nodded. “Yeah, we’re dating.”
When those words came out of her mouth, I felt a slight tightening in my face, a physical reaction to the reality of the situation.
I had been prepared for this; Keira had given me a heads-up, but hearing it directly from Y/N made it all the more tangible and impactful.
I struggled to grasp why I was experiencing such intense emotions—jealousy and envy—despite my belief that my feelings for her had faded.
I had convinced myself that I was no longer in love with her, or at least that’s what I had tried to believe.
Yet, seeing her now, so vibrant and full of life, stirred something deep within me. Her smile, her laughter, the way she spoke—it all evoked memories of the Y/N I had once loved so deeply.
It was as if the past had resurfaced, and I was reminded of the affection and longing that still lay dormant inside me.
The realization hit hard: perhaps I hadn’t truly moved on; perhaps, on some level, I was still very much in love with her.
I forced a smile. “That’s… that’s great. I’m happy for you, Y/N. Really.”
“Thanks,” she said softly. “She’s… different. It feels right.”
I looked down, my fingers tracing the edge of her glass. “I’m glad you found someone who makes you happy.”
I’m genuinely glad that she’s found someone who makes her happy—Alexia clearly brings her joy.
However, I won’t pretend that I don’t wish I were still the one who could bring her that happiness.
“Um… how about you? Have you found someone?” She asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
“Um… not yet,” I responded quietly, almost in a whisper. “I’m trying to put myself out there again, but it’s been challenging.”
It’s been incredibly challenging for me because, with every date I’ve been on, I find myself constantly comparing the other girls to you. None of them have come close to matching the unique qualities that you have. Each time, I’m reminded of how special you are, and it makes me realize just how irreplaceable you are… you were in my life.
But you don’t need to know that.
Y/N nodded understandingly, and offered me a gentle smile “I’m confident you’ll find someone, Leah. You’re an incredible person, and anyone would be lucky to have you in their life,” she said encouragingly.
I genuinely valued her words, but they don’t reflect the truth. I don’t see myself as an incredible person.
Someone truly incredible wouldn’t have caused such deep hurt that someone had to leave the country, nor would they have given up on the love of their life.
As the conversation lulled, Alexia got closer to Y/N and gently touch her back, and send me a smile.
“Leah, it was really good to see you,” Y/N said. “I hope you enjoy the rest of your time here.”
“Yeah,” I replied, forcing a smile. “It was good to see you too, Y/N.”
She gave me a small wave before turning back to Alexia, who immediately wrapped her arm around Y/N’s waist, pulling her close in a tender, intimate gesture.
From where I stood, I could see the way Y/N looked at Alexia—her eyes brimming with genuine love and affection, mirroring the way Alexia gazed at her. It was a beautiful and heartwarming sight to witness, and it was evident that Y/N truly deserved this kind of happiness.
Alexia was treating her with a tenderness and care that I had failed to provide, making Y/N's joy and contentment unmistakable.
As I observed them, a deep, lingering part of me acknowledged that I still harbored feelings for Y/N. It was a painful realization, compounded by the knowledge that I had hurt her profoundly. I had driven her away, and now she was finding solace and affection in someone else’s arms.
The finality of it all hit hard—I lost her forever. I couldn’t help but second-guess whether ending our relationship had been the right choice.
Seeing her so happy with someone else made me question whether I had made the biggest mistake of my life.
No, it’s not a question it’s a fact, I made the biggest mistake of my life.

Behold, little baby fanfiction. I've never written one before, but the whole Sulemio fandom and the Sulemio week got me a bit inspired at the final hour. I don't have Ao3, so here it goes:
The Wedding We Didn't Get
(3500 words, Wedding Prompt/Free Day)
The sun rose over the craggy walls of the Caloris Basin on Mercury. Suletta held her thumb up to the burning orb, failing to eclipse it by a factor of three. All her life, she’d help up a fist to cover the star, but on Earth and the more distant planets, people just held up a thumb. Non-Mercurians always imagined the sun to be monstrously huge when seen from Mercury, as though it devoured the whole horizon. The idea seemed rude to Suletta. They made the sun out to be some kind of monster, boiling her planet alive.
Suletta had never looked at the sun that way. She loved the way it broke into rainbows across visors and windows. She watched, through the glassy walls of the most refrigerated place on Mercury, as the morning light sublimated nighttime rime into puffs of steam. She’d never been in a place to watch the sun for more than a few minutes; the suits couldn’t handle much more than that. But those few minutes in the light of the full sun were beautiful, the literal definition of radiant.
The only thing that could ever surpass the sun stood before her right now.
***
Miorine had wanted to wear a suit. She’d always dreaded the idea of her own wedding; after all, she’d expected to despise her spouse, if not directly rival them. Her father had apparently intended for the competition to protect her, to give her the strongest possible partner, but one that wasn’t her choice. He’d never trusted her to make the right decision. He’d always thought someone else should lead in her stead.
So dreaming of being married in a suit always made her feel strong, powerful. She wore the pants. She had the power, chauvinistic as it was. Her spouse was lucky to be marrying her, and not the other way around.
Then Suletta had said “I always imagined seeing us in our dresses.”
The last thing Miorine had expected from her spouse was love. Much less love at first sight. Much less the stupid insipid head-over-heels heart pounding, sweaty-palmed, short-of-breath bullshit wrought by the mere sight of her volcanic victor, her red-earth lover, her insanely perfect wife. How someone so sweet could have come from a desolate rock such as this completely escaped Miorine. The very idea that joy could come from these blasted plains and half-melted crags was absurd.
And yet the proof stood before her, resplendent in a puffy green dress decked out with live roses and tomatoes. Suletta’s hair was sewn into the same shapes, an intricate hairstyle she’d said was popular in Roman times. Suletta wobbled a little bit on her crutches; even with the support rigging built into the dress, the fruit was heavy and cumbersome. With its flared frills and borderline Victorian volume, it was the kind of dress Miorine would never have been caught dead in.
“Your garden was how I fell in love with you, Miss Miorine,” Suletta said. Had said, but still did. “I want everyone to know that side of you.”
Idiot. Miorine thought, as her face turned bright red and tears welled in her eyes, threatening her tastefully winged eyeliner and immaculately porcelain blush. Stupid asshole idiot. I hate you. I hate you so much. I wish I could punch you. I wish I could tear those crutches away and throw you into orbit.
Suletta held up her thumb to the sun, then back down to Miorine, eliciting chuckles from the small audience. The dome was only big enough for twenty people; any larger and the amount of refrigeration necessary to keep it livable would have been prohibitively expensive. Unreasonable when the rest of the colony needed every watt they could scrape together.
Earth House et-al sat stage right, with only Sabine to break up the mix, a surprise plus-one from Nika. No matter. The old rivalries were moot now. Everyone wanted the same thing: peace. And Miorine was going to see it delivered.
She’d never thought she’d come this far. When she’d gone out in her suit on that fateful day, she’d half expected to simply float into deep space and die. That possibility hadn’t scared her. She’d welcomed it.
And then this dumbass came into her life, and suddenly living became the only thing Miorine cared about. So long as she lived with Suletta. So long as she could listen to that embarrassed stammer, see that pitiful blush, feel those calloused hands. So long as she could see that saccharine smile, Miorine could go any distance, hurdle any obstacle.
So when Suletta said she wanted dresses. Suletta got dresses. Even after Suletta described hers. Miorine had wanted to die. Instead, she’d simply said: “Do whatever you want.”
Miorine wore white lace, gauzy across the chest. Body-tight, so Suletta could not imagine anything but her. Simple lines, with faint silver threads drawing the vines of the garden they’d made together. Subtle enough that only a careful viewer would notice the design, but obvious enough that Suletta would understand. She wore crystal heels and simple pearl earrings. She’d cut her mullet, and kept the bob. Simple, professional, herself. Her outfit may as well have been in the dictionary as a visual definition of class.
She felt so fake next to Suletta.
She felt so hopeful as she took her place beside her.
She shivered when Suletta took her hands.
“Enough flirting, you two. You’re making this embarrassing.” Guel said, with false authority. When they’d asked him to officiate, his first question had been “Why me?” Then he’d shaken his head. It was, after all, better not to know that Suletta just felt bad for all the trouble she’d caused him. In a way, no one had suffered more than him from Suletta’s arrival at Asticassia. It seemed only fair.
“Do your job.” Miorine hissed. She tapped his phone, where the entire ceremony was laid out in plain text. She hadn’t trusted him to remember it all. No matter how much Suletta had changed her, Miorine still had trouble letting go of control.
Guel coughed into his hand. He began reading the nondenominational, interplanetarily legal text Miorine had picked out. A simple declaration that they would share assets, interests, and fulfill each other’s obligations in the eyes of the law—whichever law that happened to be at the time, corporate or Spacer or Earthian. Simple, unemotional, with nothing for anyone to pick at that might show favor to one belief system or government.
“The groom has chosen to write her own vows.” Guel said, with relief. His part was effectively done. Though he routinely gave speeches himself, being at the centre of an actually emotional scene clearly went above his capacities.
“As the champion of Asticassia’s dueling tournament, Suletta Mercury has earned the right to recite her vows first.”
***
Suletta stared down at her notes. The tablet, and therefore the words, trembled in her grip. She really thought she’d be braver than this. She’d killed people, for goodness’ sake. To protect Miss Miorine, of course, but that didn’t change the facts. She was someone with blood on her hands. She should be able to handle getting married.
She looked to her mother, silent and still in her wheelchair. Mr. Rembran sat next to her, equally still, but from stoicism rather than paralysis. She had dressed her mother in a simple blue dress, easy to take off and on, comfortable and soft. A red-white-and-blue striped blanket kept her warm. She couldn’t speak, even with computer aid. Eri said her brain refused to make the connections. She wasn’t brain-dead, but she wasn’t far from it. Still, there seemed to be light in her eyes that hadn’t been there the day before. As ruthless as her mother was, she’d always acted out of love. She cared. No matter how present or gone she might be, she was here, today, watching her daughter get married.
“The first time I saw you,” Suletta began, her voice wavering, “I thought you were trying to kill yourself. You were so angry with me for saving you. Then you stole Aerial, and tried to fight Guel yourself. I thought you had a death wish. Then I got engaged to you! I thought I was coming to school to make friends, not get married. I thought you were terrifying. I still do. But when I saw how messy your room was-“
“Hey!” Miorine scowled and blushed. Laughter broke out.
“A-and how beautiful your garden was,” Suletta said quickly, scrolling past the paragraphs where she described Miorine’s mess in intricate detail, down to a particular stain that had taken three long weeks to remove even with industrial solvents. “I quickly learned how caring you were, how much love was in your heart. It takes a lot of love to raise plants. It seems so simple on Earth, but here we have to make the soil from the ground up. We have to purify the water. We have to make the air, and import fertilizer at great expense. Asticassia is not too different from Mercury in that way. And the tomatoes you grew were the most delicious I have ever had. You were callous and distant, and beautiful.”
Suletta’s hands shook. One of her crutches slipped loose. Even with Mercury’s low gravity, holding herself up with one arm was borderline impossible. She tipped forward.
Miorine darted forwards and caught both the crutch and her. She very carefully placed the crutch back under Suletta’s armpit, and propped Suletta back up. She rearranged the tomatoes that had been dislodged in her brief fall, and stood back, eyes closed. She took a small breath, and waited.
Suletta stared at Miorine, lost in her grace.
“Keep talking.” Miorine said, with perfect calm.
“Ah! Um, I… I’ll always remember the way you pushed me up against the window and told me you needed me. When you said to email you three times a day, I thought you were still mad at me, because I would have messaged you more. I want to share every moment with you. I want to tell you about the little bug I saw, or the nice thing someone said, or just share a photo of the sunlight on the rocks. I want to be with you every day, to protect you, to help you, to turn your forever frowns forever upside-down.
“I promise that even though I’ll never pilot a mobile suit again, I’ll always fight for you. I’ll always stand by your side, even if I can’t stand. I’ll never betray the trust you’ve given me. And I swear to get better at cooking so you can stop ordering food all the time. Most importantly, I promise to make you happy. I want to see you wake up with a smile, to put you to bed with a kiss. I want to see our babies. I want to see how beautifully you age. I want to know you, so completely that I can’t separate you from myself. I promise that these wants will never change. I promise to be the best partner there can be.”
Miorine stood like a statue now, still as marble and just as white. As the sun shone down on her, it seemed that she did not reflect its burning light, but radiated on her own with a cool brilliance of greater magnitude than any star.
“As best I can, that is…” Suletta said, looking down from Miorine’s placid expression.
Guel bit his lip and tried not to cry. He failed. Voice choking, he said: “How you can you just stand there like that?”
“That’s not your line,” Miorine said, quietly.
Guel swallowed his pride and wiped his tears. “The bride has also chosen to write her own vows,” he said. “Miorine Rembran, please recite your vows.”
***
Miorine sucked in a breath. She couldn’t lose her composure now. She had to be strong. She had to be perfect. She was the youngest President in history. She could not fail, for even her wedding was a public, political act. No matter how human she wanted to be for Suletta, she had to be a public figure first.
She told herself all this to no avail.
“I…” she carefully opened her eyes and looked down so the sight of Suletta wouldn’t overwhelm her. She had her speech memorized. All 100 words. Simple, curt, effective.
Suletta. You are a powerful, strong person. I respect you completely. I trust you. You are more than a fighter, you are a friend, and you are the correct fiancée for me. I solemnly vow to support your efforts to advance education across the system, and to support those who have no one else. I promise to listen to you, to believe you, and to consult you. I am grateful for the opportunity to call myself your wife. It is difficult for me to say this in front of so many people, but I love you. I always will.
Tears plopped onto the tiled floor. Fat and heavy, and soon joined by more.
“I hate you!” Miorine cried. “How am I supposed to follow that, huh? How am I supposed to match you?”
Earth House howled with laughter. Even her father cracked a small smile.
Miorine sobbed, staring into those innocent blue eyes, quivering above the stupidest fucking smirk Miorine had ever seen, so small and serene and sure, as though this shame were cute, and fuck, it must be to her.
“How can I possibly stand next to you when you are everything in this universe. You are bravery. You are valor. You are my knight in shining armor, even when you’re not wearing anything at all.”
Suletta gasped.
“See! I can make you flustered too. So don’t think you get a monopoly.”
“Mioooo…” Suletta whined.
“Everything you do drives me completely insane,” Miorine said. “The way you know exactly what I want before I know it. The way you follow my instructions to the letter, and better. The way you always stand up for me even when I don’t deserve it. The way you can just pop into a room like a tray of free cookies and make every single person smile. The way you look at me makes me want to rip my face off.
“I love you so intensely that just thinking your name makes my heart pound. You make it so easy to love you. So easy to stand up. You make me want to wake up every day. To take care of myself, so I can take care of you. You may not pilot a mobile suit anymore, you may never be able to walk on your own again, but you are still the most powerful person I know. Nevertheless, I promise to protect you. I promise to carry you when you fall. I promise to hold your hand. To tuck you in. To let you call me Miomio when when Suletta is upsetta. To clean you if you can’t, to feed you if you can’t. To take care of your mother. To take care of whatever family we have. You have done so much for me. I owe you my life.”
She sucked in a breath, deep and shaking.
“I owe you my life,” she repeated, between sobs. “But I’m giving you my heart. So don’t break it!”
Laughter interrupted audible sobs from the small crowd.
“Now rest, my noble warrior.” Miorine said, cradling Suletta’s warm brown cheek in her hand. “Rest, my precious groom. Rest, because I will hold you. I will stand for you. And I will be there with you for everything, until I no longer draw breath.”
“Miorine…” Suletta’s blue eyes shivered beneath an ocean of tears.
Guel coughed, and waved a nearby drone over. The drone was shaped like a giant tomato, and had only one function. Though no one else could know it, Ericht controlled the drone; she couldn’t take much more part in this ceremony than to be a digital flower girl, but that was enough for all of them. They were together, and would be, forever.
“We will now exchange rings.” Guel said, trying hard to maintain his composure. The drone’s top flipped open. Inside lay two small rings. One was a simple platinum band studded with rubies; it had belonged to her mother. Suletta, ever the teacher, wanted to give her something with history.
The other ring was a bright silver mash, not a single piece of metal but a fused conglomerate of shards. Aerial’s pieces, almost microscopic, sifted from the vacuum at great expense. Her researchers had wanted to study the shards. She’d given them what remained after this came together. Love trumped research.
“Miorine! That’s not the ring we picked out for me.” Suletta said with a gasp.
“I know.” Miorine said. “But I think this one suits you better.”
“It’s supposed to be the other way round,” Guel interjected, “But President Rembran, please place the ring on the groom’s finger.”
Miorine wiped the tears from her face and picked up the Aerial ring. She gently slipped it onto Suletta’s finger long, strong fingers. Suletta covered her mouth and shook with sobs.
“Ms. Mercury, please place the ring on the bride’s finger.”
Suletta trembled as she picked up the simple band, and slid it onto Miorine’s thin digit. Miorine could not help but think that Suletta was so strong. So gentle. So effortlessly perfect.
“By the power vested in me by the Sol Compact, I now pronounce you wife and wife. Mrs. Mercury, you may now kiss the bride.”
They stared at him.
“Ah, the original Mrs. Mercury.”
***
Suletta couldn’t move. She could barely see through the veil of tears. She could only vaguely lurch forward with trembling legs and shivering arms and hope that the shimmering white shape in front of her was her wife and not a particularly attractive pole.
Her Mio’s hands found her. One wrapped around her hand, pulling her upright. The other wrapped around her waist, pulling her in. Miorine’s delicate lips brushed against Suletta’s at first, gently sharing a warm breath, a flicker of tongue, so swift and temporary that Suletta couldn’t be sure it happened. Then they were pressed together, breath joining breath, lips against lips, tongues seeking tongues, desperate for each other even in this disturbingly public view, in this tiny glass dome on a boiling rock.
Suletta pushed away, exclaiming with shame: “Mio!”
Then she realized that Miorine’s hand was no longer entwined with hers. Instead, she reached under Suletta’s legs, and swept her off her feet.
“You’re lucky this is Mercury.” Miorine said. “I can’t do this on Earth.”
“Miorine, I’m supposed to-“
“You’re not my groom anymore. You’re my wife. And I choose to carry you.”
As Miorine carried Suletta past their friends, past their family, all standing and clapping, Suletta looked once again to her mother. She expected to see nothing. After all, she was barely present. At her healthiest, she had been stoic and stalwart, cunning and sweet, but never soft.
A single tear travelled down the creases of her face, dripping onto the blanket below. Mr. Rembran took out a small handkerchief and wiped the tear away. He nodded to her.
Suletta nodded back.
“You know,” Miorine said, as the pressure doors sealed behind them, “you’re lucky your legs don’t work right now.”
“Why?” Suletta said, completely confused.
“Because after tonight, you won’t be able to move a muscle.”

3.142 Keep it in the family
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After that rather heavy breakfast, I suggested we head to Gilbert Gardens for a stroll around the lake to burn off the calories and the effects of such a serious conversation. He told me a few stories from his childhood and how he and Mama met, which was a story I had actually never heard before. They were at a bar, and she turned around and told him he was beautiful and asked him out at the end of the night. It wasn't hard to imagine her being so brazen, but I only knew the more matured and careful version of Emerald Kierra Pope. Heh, I still couldn't believe Dwayne called her "Kiki." That sounded like a completely different sim, but I suppose she was a different sim then. While I enjoyed hearing happier stories of my parents' youth, I found it odd he would tell so many about him and her. Did he miss her? She must have gotten to him. I hadn't forgotten about them acting weird lately. Maybe what they say about the things we remember at the end of our lives is true. No one on their deathbed lamented about not making enough money or buying a bigger house. No one remembered the petty arguments and dumb stuff we did. It was the good times and people we loved, and he still loved her.
Tumblr media
It was quite hot that afternoon, and Dad got tired and wanted to go back home, but I wasn't done with him yet. I needed more time and suggested we go check on Less and the babies, and he agreed. When we arrived, two of the three babies were hungry and screaming. Less already had Arvin, so I took care of Breanna. Dad stood quietly behind us, admiring how well we took care of them...or something. As soon as Arvin was satisfied, Lex woke up and demanded a meal too. Like every other visit, at some point, Dad left to take out trash and do whatever else he could find to help out. The fear of holding newborns must have been pretty strong. If I were staring death in the face, I'd like to think I'd suck it up and hold my long-awaited grandchildren. But to each his own.
Tumblr media
Once all the babies were happy and asleep, we retreated downstairs to hang. Mama came in from the pool and was surprised to see us all together in the living room.
"Two days in a row? I should have given you my final wishes sooner!"
Tumblr media
"Ha ha," I said flatly.
"You could have just left instructions like normal sims," Dad said.
Mama's head jerked back so far, I thought it would fly off and sock Less in the face. I could count on one hand how many times I saw my parents fight, but each time was dangerously entertaining.
"Did you leave instructions, smartie?" She paused a few seconds for dramatic effect. "I didn't think so!"
Tumblr media
He shook his head at her. I could imagine their marriage being full of that, had it continued.
"While we're on the subject," he said, "if you don't mind, there's something I want to discuss with my children."
"Okay. I'll go. But don't be in here traumatizing my babies."
"You've already done that, Mama," I said. "Thanks for that."
"Why, I never! I know where I'm not wanted. I'm going back to the pool!"
Tumblr media
He watched her leave, but still didn't say what he wanted to say. Maybe discussing their deaths was just as awkward for them as it was for us to hear about it, even though they spoke so casually about it.
"So...what is it, Dad?" I asked.
"Despite what she thinks, I do have instructions," he said. "But there is one matter left to finalize, and I could use your help."
"Uhhh...okay," Alessia said, nervously.
"Lessi... I want to give you my house..."
"A house?!"
"Yes. But if I leave it to you, I want you to live in it."
"But...I live here."
"I know. After your mom is gone, I thought maybe you'd want to be closer to your brother. My house isn't nearly as big or as nice as this, but it's homey, and there's enough room for everyone."
"But...I..."
Tumblr media
She looked so lost. Did Mama not talk to her? Or did she not consider the whole picture? Probably the latter. She was never good at caring about much beyond her nose. I, on the other hand, was giddily distracted by the idea of us being neighbors. Ever since learning Jace abandoned her, I had been trying to think of the best way to help her and the babies. Never once did I consider her moving to live near me until Dub mentioned his rental property. It was the perfect solution for both of us. She'd have family nearby to help with the kids, Des would grow up with faux siblings, and I'd get to keep an eye on Less and be a positive male figure in my niblings' lives. Everyone wins!
"I know that's a big decision," he said, "and expecting you to make it now isn't right, so how about this... I'll leave it to Luca until you decide if you want it or not. But no matter what you decide, I don't want either of you to sell it. I want it to stay in the family."
Tumblr media
"But...what do I do with it?" I asked.
"Rent it out and make some money. Or keep it and give it to one of the kids. I don't have a pile of money to leave you like your mom does. This house is all I have. That's why I chose not to rent an apartment when we moved. This house is my contribution to our family's legacy. It can provide extra income for you or a head start for your children or their children as long as it stays in the family."
I had only thought of rental property in terms of a shared living situation like Dub had done. I didn't consider I could take a house I already owned and let someone else live in it while I lived somewhere else. The money tree had already done so much for my family's future, but everything Dad had said opened my mind to so many more possibilities. Just like I told Dub, I could leave Desiree more than just money.
"Of course we'll keep it in the family, Dad."
Tumblr media
The evening grew late, and I had to get home to my ladies, so I said goodnight to Dad, silently hoping that it wasn't our final farewell. But in case it was, I gave him a good squeeze and told him I loved him.
Tumblr media
I grabbed Less next.
"I love you too. I hope you'll take the house."
"We'll see. You're okay, I guess."
Tumblr media
"I KNOW you're not leaving this house without saying goodbye to me," Mama shouted, appearing from nowhere.
"Now, why would I ever think about doing that?" I kissed her on the cheek. "I love you. I'll be back soon."

For the ikePri events, could I get Chev in the Rose Garden with the Honey cake?? (I just started IkePri and im excited I to read everything!)
Mmmm some sweet Chevalier coming right up ^_^ Approx. 700 words of our second prince showing his true colors in the rose garden! IkePri New Years Event story!
Chevalier loosened the collar of his suit with a sigh. He felt exhausted. People were exhausting. He turned his head to glare coldly at the bright-lit ballroom windows. Even out here he could hear the inane chatter. It would never cease to annoy that people - nobles - needed this sort of event to convince them to do what was needed.
“King Chevalier?”
He turned his head. “You.” He didn’t ask why she’d followed him. Chevalier already knew why, even if he still had trouble understanding it.
Emma smiled, a crooked little half smile that Chev knew all too well. “I thought if the King could slip away, I could too.” She shrugged, “Nokto and Sariel have things under control.”
“I already know that.” He looked away from her at the rose garden around them. In the dim light, the crimson blossoms were black, and all the other colors muted. The garden could only be brought to life by light, he thought, his lips twisting in a wry smile.
Emma slipped in beside him, and his arm settled naturally around her shoulders. Neither said anything as they walked slowly together along the winding white stone path.
Chevalier felt his annoyance ebb in the gentle presence of his lover. His heart warmed under her gentle gaze and a new energy came to life in him from her touch.
“Do you have a New Year resolution,” she asked as they came to a stop beside one of the garden’s enormous fountains.
“No,” he snorted. “Such things are -”
She finished the sentence with him, “foolish.” Emma laughed. “I knew you’d say that. But I have a resolution. Do you want to hear it?”
Chevalier let out a breath, pretending to be irritated. “I suspect you will tell me regardless.”
“True.” Her eyes were merry. “My resolution is to love you even more than I already do.”
Chevalier stroked the nape of her neck, trying for a softer touch. “Impossible.” His voice was low, barely a breath. Her smile was so beautiful, he thought. What madness for a creature like her to love a beast, and more, that the beast had found he could love her back. His heart ached with the fullness of that love.
Emma’s smile widened. “I thought so too, because I love you more than I knew it was possible to love anyone. But then I thought, why not try for even more? Something is only impossible until you find a way to do it.”
“Ridiculous.” He felt his own lips stretch and curve up in a smile he couldn’t have imagined having before Emma came into his life. Chevalier lifted her up, gathering her into his arms just to hold her. To feel her pressed close.
“If I were to make such a silly resolution,” he began, “I would aim for the plausible.”
She snuggled against his chest, arms wrapping around his neck. “Oh? What would you recommend, then?”
Chevalier combed his fingers through her hair, mussing the careful updo she’d worn for the party. “A measurable goal. Like waking up beside you every morning.”
Emma sighed. “That would be amazing. But how is that plausible?” She kissed the sensitive spot just under his jawline. “You have duties that take you all over Rhodolite.” She nipped his earlobe, tugging it gently. “I think that resolution is just like mine.”
Her teasing affected him more than he was willing to let on. Though his expression remained cool, he felt heat build in his chest. A fire only Emma could stoke. “Think,” he told her.
“Well . . . you can’t just not go places.” She nibbled at her lower lip, rolling it over in her mind. Then her lips drew into a wide, joyful smile. “Wait! Are you promising to take me with you?”
Chevalier kissed her. Her lips were warm and firm and lively, kissing him back with a fierce passion. Her mouth tasted of the champagne from the party, sweet, with a heat that flowed through him. He kissed her until he felt light headed, and the stars above them seemed to spin.
“That’s a - a yes then?” Her voice trembled, breathless.
“Don’t ask questions you know the answer to.” He brushed a kiss to her forehead, then her cheek, and the spot just beneath her ear. Chevalier felt an irrational urge to just keep kissing her, every inch of her. These quiet moments they spent together were everything.
She was the light that gave color to his heart. Like a blossom brought out of the night and into dawn, showing its scarlet petals. Her love revealed the passion in him.
Emma laughed, her breath tickling his neck. “I love you, you know that?”
“There you go, silly fool. Asking a question you know the answer to.” Chevalier kissed her again.

Tumblr media
Having a crush on Edward Cullen is not easy.. especially when he have alot of fans, including your, oh so great cousin.
But that doesn't stop you! I mean, it's not wrong to imagine right? But nah Edward always reads your mind and is interested in your thoughs about him.
He always caught you staring at him so you tried to stare less so you wouldn't be embarrassed.
But you just can't help it, the Cullen's and the Hale's beauty is just so eye catching to the point that you can stare at them all day and not get bored. You mostly stare at edward tho.
You we're just walking and thinking about Edward until a pixie haired girl came to you and popped out of nowhere.
"Hello! I'm alice, it's nice to finally meet you!"
Wait? "Finally"? Did you hear her right?? Well of course being you, you decided to shrug it off and talk to her.
"Hello, I'm (y/n). It's nice to meet you too..?" That sounded more like a question to you.
And alice being the sweet girl she is, just pulled you into there seat and made you sit next to Edward like wtf?
What happened to hello? Hi? I mean, it did happen but like.. who the heck pulls someone and make them sit next to their crush?? Well, apparently Alice.
And you being the lover girl, freaked out. In your head of course. Being next to your crudh is nerve wracking. Your palms we're kind of sweaty so you hid them inside your pockets. (Pockets are the best fr.)
And Edward being the little emo shit he is, reads your mind and tries not to smile. And of course, he already knows you're his soulmate. But what was he gonna do? Tell you that you're his soulmate and you should live with the Cullens?? No lmao. But it will happen in the future cause alice said so.
And jasper being the nice vampire he is, made you calm like a water and you don't even know how. You think He's just.. like a capybara i guess.
But Bella had to ruin the moment cuz Rosalie was supposed to talk to you 🙄. This actually made Rosalie mad ngl and emmet had to pull her back. And Rosalie being the queen she is glared at Bella.
Well, of course Bella tried to pull you back but not on Alice's watch. They had a pulling competition and boy.. your arms hurt asf. And alice won ofc.
And you being a teenager who's crush is beside her, switched side and became quiet cuz you're afraid they will judge you. And ofc they won and made you talk and laugh.
You we're talking with Emmet and rosalie with random things until your eyes decided to land on Edward who was smirking st you with his handsome face of his.
You quickly looked at someone else before you become a tomato, and of course, you're mind is full of Edward.. atp it's just normal for him to read your mind.
And school was a little shit so cafeteria break was over not until Edward grabbed your hand with his. You hoped that you're not burning rn cuz your mind is going wild.
"we have the same schedule, do you want to walk to class together?" He said with his voice that can make girls weak.
"yeah." Yeah?? Just a yeah?? Well don't blame our poor main character, everyone will relate to this. We don't trust our voice.
You and eddie boy just walked together in class, holding hands. Your mind still going wild. And Edward just smiles like he's a saint.
And oh boy, you can feel Bella's stare 💀. But you couldn't careless, i mean who wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to sit and hold hands with their crush?
To your surprise, this happens everyday. The Cullen's/Hale's just treat you like you're a part of their family (The swans can't relate.) And Edward being the gentleman he is, confesses to you that he's a vampire and your soulmate and all that.
But you couldn't care less about the vampire thing, as long as they don't kill you. But the soulmate part got you wildin. And Edward being the little shit he is, reads your mind and tells your that your imaginations with him are cute.
You almost passed out.
Like wtf? I mean they are a vampire... But wtf he have been reading your mind ALL THE TIME?? Nahh the embarrassment bro.
But you still accepted Edward. And esme being the good mother she is asked you to move in with them cuz they know all the tea you got with the swans and how they treat you like you don't exist.
And you being the lover girl accepted. Who wouldn't want to live in a mansion full of hot vampires bro.
Their actually surprised that you're kind of hyper during the night like wtf. Emmett always makes fun of you 😭😭
But like, serious talking bro Edward is head over heels like you. This boy like to feel you, like literally feel. Both of you are kinda clingy to each other, but Edward sometimes questions your mentality.
"i wish i could go inside your skin so i can hug you." - (You)
"and i thought I'm the only one who needs a therapist." - (Edward)
Bonus!
Bella gives you the side eyes with her "friends" and she even tried to steal Edward like wtf.

Because if the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you xx
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Tay I'm back. I brought you your favorite coffee!!!"
As he spoke, he packed his AirPods back into the case and placed his running shoes in the hallway. With an amorous smile, he walked with quick steps into the large living and dining area, hoping to run into his girlfriend, who preferred to stay in bed before his morning run. Hampstead was showing its most beautiful sunny side today, so Harry had spontaneously turned his little run into a big one. Taylor is still not a big fan of jogging, she prefers to enjoy the long walks with Harry. Even today, after a hot bath in the morning, Taylor decided to surprise Harry with breakfast. Just yesterday, they had gone shopping together and replenished their supplies. "Their" supplies - yes, theirs. Officially, Taylor and Harry weren't living together yet, but since Harry had finished his tour, they were actually spending every spare minute together. Hampstead and London are Harry's home and by now for half a year Harry was Taylor's home too. Not only for Taylor Harry was a home, also her little dog Root feels very comfortable in Harry's house. So her London apartment currently exists only for appearances. But for nothing in the world Taylor would have it differently or even want to trade it. Dreamy and full of thoughts, Taylor didn't even notice that her boyfriend was looking for her. But the music of her Siri-HomPod told him that his girlfriend must be in the kitchen. He listened and really had to smile, he recognized the voice immediately, even if it was not his own.
„Waking up to kiss you and nobody's there
The smell of your perfume still stuck in the air
It's hard
Yesterday I thought I saw your shadow running round
It's funny how things never change in this old town
So far from the stars“
The sight of his girlfriend almost made his heart melt, there she was at the countertop in one of his way too big Love on Tour shirts, a loose bun, and snuggle socks. It may have only been October, but Taylor was one who loved walking around in snuggle socks all year long. She was so in her element making the pancakes that she still didn't notice her boyfriend. And she was humming along to the voice of one of his now still best friends. He stood leaning against the doorframe, a sweaty strand of hair falling into his face.
"Hey sweetie, are you cheating on me?" He laughed.
Feeling almost startled and a little caught, Taylor turned around frantically.
"God H. I didn't even hear you come in. How long have you been standing there?" Quickly, though, Taylor's startled expression turned into a loving smile.
"Long enough to see that you seem to really enjoy my best friend's music. As lyrically confident as you are humming along to the song ..huh?"
With a raised eyebrow and a sly smile, Harry approached his girlfriend. "So ...yeah..I love that song. Even long before we met. You know?"
"Oh, so that's how it is." Harry quickly set the coffee down on the countertop next to him and pulled Taylor closer. She giggled. "Harry what are you doing" - "Well asking you to dance together"
"H you're still all sweaty" Harry shook his head. "I guess you'll have to go through with it now. I love that song too and I can't imagine anything better than dancing to it with you here in our kitchen."
„Because if the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
You still make me nervous when you walk in the room
Them butterflies they come alive when I'm next to you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you“
But Harry didn't miss the chance to accompany the song with his voice.
"Your voice to it sounds wonderful Harry"
"Thank you my Love. The song is really one of his best. I hope you know that if it's not my own song, I mean every word of it...don't you? I really can't wait for our future together."
He punctuated his statement with a sweet loving kiss. Smiling lovingly, Taylor nodded. "I love you too H"
"Speaking of ..Before we leave for Korea, we really need to meet up with Niall. You two really need to get to know each other. Amelia will love you"
"Nothing better than that"
Slowly Harry broke away from Taylor and reached for the coffee and held it in front of her. "Now drink your favorite coffee dear, otherwise it's about to be iced coffee" Gratefully Taylor took the coffee from him and tried a sip. "Oh even with oat milk" "For you always my Love"
Dreamily Taylor looked at her boyfriend. "Harry?" - "Yes?" - "You know you'll always be my number one artist and I love your songs to death right?"
Harry laughed. "I know Tay. I really can't wait until you see and hear HS4, because you're not completely uninvolved in that" Taylor grinned sheepishly.
Before Harry disappeared from the kitchen and hopped into the shower he picked up a quick kiss from her. There was a little pat on the butt at the end as well. "You look so sexy in my merch" Laughing Taylor shook her head. "You weirdo, now get in the shower ..or your pancakes will never be ready" - "I'm in a hurry".
Taylor smirked. "Siri, play Harry Styles Love of my Life on Apple Music" and yes, he definitely was.
_______________________________________________________
Love Taylor Russell and Harry Styles so much together. And today Nialls Song just popped up in my Playlist and my Head playing games with me and this was the result 🔝.
Hope you‘re enjoyed it! <3

Our Little Girl
[Bryce Lahela x Olivia Hadley Masterlist]
Pairing: Bryce Lahela x Olivia Hadley (F!OC) Book: Open Heart (post series) Word Count: >500 Rating/Warnings: general (non, all the fluff) A/N: This drabble is dedicated to the Nonny who was so sweet and asked for more Brylivia. I've had this sitting in drafts for ages, so I may as well share. [full-size version of edit in header]
Synopsis: Bryce and Olivia head to their latest ultra sound appointment to find out the gender of their little one.
Tumblr media
Bryce and Olivia sat together in the softly lit ultrasound room, their hands entangled, their hearts beating with a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation. The moment they had been waiting for had finally arrived.
The gender reveal of their baby.
They didn't need a big party or some statement reveal announcement— although both Casey and Merida had offered to take care of everything. All they needed was this. The two of them and their little one.
They had their reasons for why they hoped it would be a girl or a boy, but ultimately, they decided that as long as it was healthy, they didn't care. And even if it wasn't, they'd still love him or her for as long as they had with them. Yet, despite all the conversations and the late-night talks, Bryce hoped for a girl. His little girl. Beautiful and brilliant, just like her mother.
The room filled with the familiar, gentle hum of the machine coming to life, though neither parent heard it over the pounding of their hearts. The technician moved the ultrasound wand slowly over Olivia's swollen stomach. The monitor flickered to life, revealing the miracle within her.
Bryce's breath caught in his throat as he watched the screen. His eyes scanned the image, searching for the answer, but the technician beat him to it.
"There she is," the technician said after a moment of adjusting the wand to get a better picture. "Congratulations—" Her voice soft with excitement, pointing to the tiny, pulsating image.
She.
Olivia let out a soft gasp at the word. She hadn't realized she had been holding her breath until hearing the one word she'd been waiting for.
"—It's a girl."
As the words "It's a girl" filled the room, a wave of emotions rushed over Bryce. He had been waiting so long for those words. Tears welled up in his eyes, and his heart swelled with joy. He couldn't hold back the happy sob that escaped his lips. His knees felt weak, his free hand clutching the bed for support.
There she was.
Their daughter.
She was perfect already, but what struck him most was her calm and peaceful presence. He didn't know what he expected, but she seemed lulled by the sound of her parents around her, not knowing how much she was already adored.
"A girl," he marveled, his shimmering gaze mesmerized by his daughter on the monitor.
Olivia's grip on Bryce's hand tightened, and her fingers trembled in awe. "Our little girl," she whispered, her voice overwhelmed with joy.
The happy parents watched, spellbound, as the monitor revealed their daughter's profile. Her delicate features, her tiny fingers, and her perfect lips were a breathtaking sight. She was perfect, and she was theirs.
Bryce leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to Olivia's forehead, his love for her and their unborn child swelling within him. "Our little girl," he repeated softly, his voice wavering with emotion as he kissed her forehead again.
Tears streamed down Olivia's cheeks as all the possibilities flashed before them. They were still months away from meeting her, and yet she couldn't imagine another day without her.
Tumblr media
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this small moment into their lives. 💛💛💛

Awful accident where Rhaenyra and Daemon die. Jace is a famous singer and wants to help raise the boys but he’s travelling too much. Rhaena is studying to be a doctor and Baela is in Jace’s band so she’s travelling just as much as him. Aegon - out of the question. Nope. Laenor and Qarl want to but they live so far away and it’s best not to uproot the kids so much at a time like this.
That leaves Aemond and Lucerys. Aemond’s already a lawyer and Luke is studying to take over his grandfather’s business empire (that Aemond works with/for) but together they make it work. They’ve been together less than a year at this point and haven’t even moved in together. Guess there’s no choice now. They take the guest room in Rhae and Daemon (now Luke’s) house. Aemond’s flat is too small and Luke still lived with his parents still but his room was barely big enough to fit a double bed, let alone Aemond’s desk and both their clothes as well. They leave R+D’s room untouched. Viserys is barely a few months old, Aegon is two and Joffrey is a month off seven.
They struggle at first to get into a routine and get the boys settled, but eventually they make it work. Joff’s birthday comes along and Jace and Baela manage to make it home in time for his party. A big event. Fireworks and ice cream cake and everything. Joff runs off before they light the candles, though. No one can find him. Luke stays inside with the babies while the rest of them search.
Aemond finds Joff under the covers in his mother’s room. He’s disturbed the dust that’s settled on the bed. Gently, he peels the covers back and asks if he’s ok. Does he need a minute? Would he like to send everyone home? Joff shakes his head. He’s enjoying the party he just misses Mama and Papa Daemon so much. Aemond’s surprised when Joffrey hugs him for the first time, but hugs him back. Holds him while he cries.
When they return to the party - ice cream cake nearly melted - everyone pretends not to notice Joffrey’s red eyes and tear stained cheeks.
Three months later, as Christmas break is coming up, Aemond is there to pick up Joffrey from school instead of Luke - Viserys and Aegon had a doctors appointment- and there he is, standing in the snow with a big black trench coat, eye patch on and hair long and sleek. Looking as intimidating as ever. The parents are looking at him, the kids are looking at him, the teachers are looking at him. Aemond hates putting himself in such a public setting but it’s all worth it when Joff runs out to him, jumping into his arms.
Until one of the nosey parents ask him ‘do you know this man?’
Joffrey looks up at them like they’re stupid.
“Of course! He’s my dad!”
Aemond tries not to cry. It’s hard, but he manages to wait until they get home and Joffrey’s showing Luke the family portrait he drew of them all (with Mama and Papa Daemon in heaven with Papa Harwin)
this is both so beautiful and heartbreaking. i can imagine how sad and hard it'll be for the kids because it'd be almost unbearable, losing their parents so young, and it would be such a long process, to adapt to this new situation and to each other and relearn how to trust and coexist with this new fear of losing they've been forced to face at such young ages. how to let love in again and it's beautiful and hopeful, the fact that luke and aemond are willing to give the kids what they need, because damn, i can't even imagine what i'd be like for them. that part with joff broke my heart i swear. but guess love comes back to our lives even when it feels impossible. and god, it feels really impossible sometimes but "he manages to wait until they get home and Joffrey’s showing Luke the family portrait he drew of them all" yeah. now they have two more dad dads that truly love them.
thank you for this lovely little story, so full of emotion and detail.

Elucien - The Key to Stopping a Civil War
“Vassa knows that the Queens of the Realm will be a threat until they are dealt with,” I said at last. Another tidbit that Lucien had told us. Well, Az and me at least. “But unless the queens step out of line, it’s not for us to face. If we sweep in, even to stop them from triggering another war, we’ll be seen as conquerors, not heroes. We need the humans in other territories to trust us, if we can ever hope to achieve lasting peace.” “Then perhaps Jurian and Vassa should deal with them. While Vassa is free to do so.” I’d contemplated it. Feyre and I had discussed it long into the night. Several times. “The humans must be given a chance to rule themselves. Decide for themselves. Even our allies.”
Rhys says if they can convince territories in the human lands to trust them, they can achieve lasting piece (in their world).
But the NC hasn't really done anything since the war to earn the humans trust.
It seems like Lucien has though....
Lucien shrugged. “First—here. To help. Then …” Another glance at Elain. “Who knows?” (here to help us referring to the mortal lands)
Lucien had remained behind to help with any of the human wounded still needing Fae healing, but had promised to come here when he finished
“He’s spent months helping them sort out the politics of who rules Prythian’s slice of the human lands,”
“She and Jurian are getting along?” I hadn’t seen them interact, could only imagine what the two of them would be like in the same room together. Both trying to lead the humans who occupied the sliver of land at the southernmost end of Prythian. Left ungoverned for so long. Too long. No king or queen remained in these lands. No memory of their name, their lineage.
He’s voluntarily living with them these days, and not just as an emissary. As their friend.”
But there is also the threat of the fae in other continents:
Indeed, Mor’s eyes shuttered. “They don’t want to sign the new treaty.”
I don’t think Vallahan is interested in peace. Or allying with us.”
“And the humans, despite those queens, are far weaker than we are. Pushing into human lands is low-hanging fruit. Montesere and Rask are likely thinking the same thing.” Cassian groaned skyward. That had been the fear during the recent war: that those three territories across the sea might ally with Hybern. Had they, there would have been no chance at all of survival. Now, even with Hybern’s king dead, its people remained angry. An army might be raised again in Hybern. And if it united with Vallahan, if Montesere and Rask joined with the goal of claiming more territory from the humans …
And those Fae don't seem to be interested in signing the peace treaty the NC put together with help from their allies.
“I’m Lucien. Courtier and emissary.
had always been good at talking to people
a pattern of thinking and feeling that was old, and clever,
Like Rhys, he usually opted for words to win his battles,
There was a reason he had that fox mask, you know.”
“My sister Elain can convince anyone to do anything with a few smiles.”
rather than letting it deign to gift her with power, as it had with Elain.
Elain, who it had gifted with such powers, found her so lovely it had wanted to give her something … It would not harm Elain, even in its hunt to reclaim what had been taken.
and friends: those two half-wraiths who worked in Rhysand’s household. But those things had always come easily to her sister. Had always made Elain special.
Her gaze shifted to the carved wooden rose she’d placed upon the mantel, half-hidden in the shadows beside a figurine of a supple-bodied female, her upraised arms clasping a full moon between them. Some sort of primal goddess—perhaps even the Mother herself. Nesta hadn’t let herself dwell on why she’d felt the need to set the rose there. Why she hadn’t just thrown it in a drawer.
she pulled the small, carved rose from her pocket and set it upon the gravestone. A permanent marker of the beauty and good he’d tried to bring into the world.
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea that Elucien will put a stop to the unrest across their lands, just in time to unite their people for whatever threat Prythian will face from outside their world.
It had belonged to a true Fae High King in Prythian, as there had been in Hybern. He had united the lands, its people—and for a while, with that sword, peace had reigned
“Very well then, Rhysand.” Amren also turned from the desk and the blades Rhys’s magic now sheathed and set upon the surface. “But know that the Cauldron’s benevolence will be extended to you only for so long before it is offered to another."
from Lucien’s goodness.
“He is a good male,” I repeated.
Lucien is loyal—fiercely so.”
It doesn't seem coincidental that we learned of the Daglan in ACOSF, the original masters of their land who were banished from their world under the rule of the first High King. And in CC2 are told of the Asteri who have desired finding their way back to the original world they came from but can no longer remember the location of. A world Bryce may have just opened a portal too.
To me, it does make sense that High King would not necessarily be the one with the most power (checks and balances and all that) but one who has the ability to rally humans, the Prythian fae and those on other continents.

THE HIWTHI MASTERLIST
THE MAIN MASTERLIST
kofi || taglist || come chat
The David household was full of music. Beautiful, lively music. He couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he worked on the dinner menu that he was preparing for the little gathering. Eli was on a call in the space the two of them had adapted as an office, Dante alternating between dancing along with the music and helping his papa (read: causing chaos) in the kitchen.
His soul felt lighter. It was like seeing light at the end of the tunnel - a very long tunnel that had really put his mental health through things that he never thought he’d experience. But as each day passed, he felt lighter, he felt closer and closer to being able to enjoy life again, the fears that had chased him awake for so many nights, slowly fading into shadows.
Lost in thought, he got startled when Eli wrapped their arms around his middle and pressed a kiss to his shoulder.
“I am all yours now, how can I help?” Eli spoke quietly.
He leaned back and pressed a kiss to their temple.
“Just keep me company, I’ve got this.” He reassured them, Eli sitting down immediately on one of the chairs next to the kitchen island.
“Is everyone truly coming?” Eli asked, trying to do the math of how many people would show up.
“Yes, they promised.”
“How will we fit fifteen people here?” Eli asked.
“It will be cosy, don’t worry.” Damiano winked at them, earning a faint blush from them.
“How much exactly did I miss while I was working?” Eli raised their brow.
“Not much, but it will be a nice surprise, I guess.” Damiano chuckled and went to give them a kiss.
The doorbell rang and interrupted their moment.
“Who is it this early?” Eli looked at the clock, realising that there was still more than an hour until the official gathering time.
“I got it, don’t worry.” Damiano rushed to open the door and greeted Thomas and Tom who were carrying a big box together.
“Listen, the only reason we agreed to this free labour is because you promised pasta.” Thomas said as a way of greeting.
“I am holding up my end of the bargain, don’t worry.” Damiano laughed.
“If you don’t, I am leaving him here until you make him the pasta you promised.” Tom promised.
“You can’t leave me behind!” Thomas protested.
“Fine, we’ll both stay here and make their lives miserable until we are fed pasta.” Tom grinned.
“Ethan is behind us with your brother, bringing the chairs.” Tom announced.
“This is going to be so much fun, I need to go cook!” Damiano clapped his hands and rushed back to the kitchen, seeing that Eli stepped up to stir the sauce.
“Ciao, we bring more things.” Ethan shouted from the door.
“I think Vic said she is bringing booze.” Thomas mentioned as he and Tom started unpacking the table and setting it right with Tom and Ethan.
“He invited all of us and we still have to pull our weight around here, can you imagine!” Damiano heard his brother joke from the other room.
“Go and see your brother, I know you miss him. I got this.” Damiano kissed Eli, who looked a bit sad to be asked out of the kitchen yet happy to be able to steal some time with Tom.
**
Eli did as they were bid, even though they wanted to help around with the preparations. They had seen Damiano be excited about this event, he hadn’t shared much about the reason for gathering all of them and Eli had decided not to push, knowing that he would come around when he was ready.
“Hi.” Tom pulled them in a bone crushing hug and spun them around.
“Hi.” Eli held him tightly.
“I think it’s time for a smoke break for me.” Tom announced, looking if anyone would dare to challenge his words but they only laughed, Ethan taking over what Tom had been doing around the table.
“Are you okay?” Eli held their brother’s hand tightly as the two went to the balcony.
“More than okay.” Tom reassured them.
“I miss you.” Eli admitted.
“I miss you too but you said it yourself - things change.” Tom hugged them again after lighting a cigarette.
“I can’t believe that all my favourite people live within the same city limits yet I can’t spend as much time as I’d like with them.” Eli admitted quietly, voicing the words that had been haunting them for a little while.
“Your work requires you to, though. I know the feeling, I know the pain. Don’t think that I like that I don’t see you as often.” Tom rested his head on their shoulder and kept holding them.
“Which is why I sometimes hate my job.” Eli grumbled.
“A light goes out in your eyes when you are not being creative. Maybe in time we will find a way where you can spend more time with us without sacrificing that light to get to it.”
“I feel like I miss so much.”
“I know, but seeing your joy and pride in your creative accomplishments is unmatched.”
“They won’t keep my son happy when he grows up. They won’t be here for him as he develops into a human.” Eli argued.
“Eli, you were gone for two weeks, and you still have a little bit more work to do before settling here for a longer period of time. Did you offer Damiano and Dante join you?”
“No, because even if they did, I’d still barely see them.”
“Offer it, it will give you a bit of peace of mind.”
“I’ll consider it.”
“If you don’t, I’ll ship them off to you.”
Eli chuckled and held onto their brother.
“Your family loves you and we are patiently and excitedly waiting for you.” Tom reassured them.
“I love all of you more than anything.” It was all Eli managed to say.
**
“Now, the party has arrived.” Vic announced as soon as Thomas opened the door for her. She was carrying two bags with various drinks and was trailed by Auri and Angie who brought various snacks and soft drinks with them.
“Good, you can help with setting up the chairs and organising everything.” Thomas suggested helpfully.
“I will help with other things, thank you very much.” Victoria grinned and walked straight to the kitchen where Damiano was still cooking.
“Ciao! The party has arrived.” Vic put the bags on the kitchen island and went to hug Damiano. He chuckled and held her for a moment.
“I am glad you came.”
“It’s not like I was given much choice.” Vic teased.
“It’s a big evening.” Damiano said ominously.
“I am not wearing waterproof makeup, don’t even think of proposing to Eli.”
“I am not proposing.” Damiano insisted and went back to cooking.
“Is everything good between you two?” Vic asked quietly. Damiano looked at his friend surprised.
“Of course it’s good. I love Eli dearly, we are just not at the proposal yet. And even if we were, I would not put them on the spot like that. Tonight is about something else entirely. Don’t be so nosy, you’ll find out in a bit.”
Vic grinned.
“You’ve grown up so much lately.” She observed.
Damiano didn’t react to her words, just started taking out the plates from the shelf and started piling them on.
“And not only have you grown but you are settling in yourself, you are much calmer now than you were before. Much calmer than when everything began.” Vic kept going on.
“Thank you.” He responded after a moment.
“You’re welcome.” She kissed his cheek before going to see Dante.
**
It took him a bit longer than he would have liked to finish preparing the food but while he did, his friends set up the table and chairs and eventually, they came around to get table covers, glasses, and they all set the table and then both sets of parents arrived and he started serving the food.
Eli put Dante in the high chair, placing him next to Vic per his own demand which everyone found adorable.
Damiano was bursting with joy and was struggling to hide it.
“What’s going on?” Different people tried to inquire but he brushed them off, waiting for everyone to be sitting around the table so he could say the words that have been begging to be let out for a while now. Perhaps longer than he realised.
“Get around the table and you’ll find out.” Damiano only replied, patiently waiting for all fourteen of them to get around the table and sit down.
“Are any of my children getting proposed to tonight?” Eli and Tom’s mom asked.
Damiano looked at her and shook his head smiling, Thomas following suit.
“Okay, what is going on?” Eli looked from their place next to Damiano once everyone was settled. He stood up and took his glass, raising it in the air.
“Thank you all for coming here.” He started, nerves catching up to him a little bit.
“You called.” Ethan smiled at him.
Damiano returned the smile.
“The recent years have been very hectic and especially the last few were not only hectic but also busy and chaotic and full of the whole spectrum of emotions. Life showed me all its colours and did not wait for my decision to dive into it. That is not to say that I am complaining about any of it, because I am not.”
There were smiles all around, and he spotted tears in his mother’s eyes.
“I might not be the smoothest person when it comes to expressing how I feel but I am working on it. I lost too long not being with the person I love.” He smiled at Eli.
“I wasted too long chasing perfectionism and not recognizing that what I have is more than perfect on its own.”
Eli reached to hold his hand and Damiano leaned down to kiss their hand.
“I gathered you all here because I wanted to celebrate all of you. To celebrate my love for you. To celebrate life. I sat in darkness for a long time not realising that there is more to life. You helped me chase my dreams, you helped me when I was broken, you sat by my side while I learned how to be a man and a father. You loved me, you took care of me. You opened your hearts for Dante and made sure that we both felt loved and cherished. You gave us family. I am grateful for that, I am grateful for you.” There was a smile on his face that no one had seen in a while - sincere, carefree, joyful smile.
“We love you, Dami. Of course we support you and of course we will be there for you as long as you need us.” His mom spoke up.
“I’d like to start with forever. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without all of you. I love you and I see you. I see your joys, I see your struggles, I am here for you just as you are for me. You are the most important people in my life and I will not stop saying thank you for everything you’ve done for me, for us.”
There were tears and smiles on his favourite people’s faces. There were tears on his own face. He went around and gave them all hugs and whispered his thanks again and again.
When he got back to Eli and he kissed them gently, taking his sweet time, Tom interrupted them with the words.
“Time for a picture. We need to capture this moment.” He insisted.
Thomas chuckled and went with his boyfriend to set up the camera to take pictures.
They all gathered, Dante in Damiano’s arms, Eli leaning their head on Damiano’s shoulder. Ethan with his arms wrapped around Aurora. Thomas and Tom together, holding hands, Vic pressing a kiss to Angie’s cheek and Damiano’s brother and Leo standing between both sets of teary-eyed parents.
**
Hours later, Damiano shared one of the pictures that Tom had taken. He put a heart emoji over Dante’s face to protect his privacy but he wanted the moment on his feed. He wanted to scream it from the top of the world. These are the people that kept him sane, these are the people that he loved most in the world.
He captioned it, home is where the heart is.

🦇💗Today is a very special day, my ghestie @sistersaccharine birthday! 💗🦇
I am honored that she chose to be my friend Holiday commission letter from Papa Iv to her OC Saccharine on her birthday!
She said it was ok to share with you all so here is the full commission including the letter and the special designs I do for it!
I am so glad you liked it ghestie and happy birthday Sister!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mia Principessa,
Though it has only been a few hours since I left you, sleeping so soundly in our shared bed, I already miss you. Today, along with all those who live within the Abbey, we shall celebrate your birthday. The ghouls and siblings alike, singing your praises and showering you with gifts fit for Lucifer himself. They have all been working, along with the girls, so hard to make this day as perfect as you.
Primo has assured me that nothing but his most impressive blossoms will grace the tables and Secondo has agreed to help the ghouls with the entertainment. Even Rain and Sunshine have been working together on a piece of music written just for you…but don’t let them know I told you… I will never hear the end of it.
Even Terzo is planning something special for you. Along with the help of Nova and the rest of the ghoulettes. I can only imagine what they have come up with. I too have something I am dying to show you. Something I picked out many months ago in preparations for today.
I cannot wait to see the beautiful smile on your face and the glow in your cheeks when you see it. The moment I saw it I knew it was absolutely perfect for you—just like you. You know cara you are so very much loved and appreciated here. Truly a Sister that is cherished by her fellow siblings and the Ministry as a whole.
Oh my sweet cara…I am forever grateful for this day and in truth for your parents. Had it not been for their love and the blessed events of this day some years ago, I would have never met the love of my life. I owe my happiness, my life, and my everything to them—to you amore.
I cannot wait to show you the lemon cheesecake cake that Gnocchi, Rigatoni, and myself managed to bake for you. It took particularly an eternity for me to figure out how to do a water bath correctly. I am not proud to admit that I went through quite a few tries before I finally got it. Aether must be sick after eating all the rubbery custard mistakes I made. If I am being honest, the Abbey chef may never allow me back in the kitchen again after this with all the mess we made. Even so, it was all worth it for you. I am looking forward to hearing what you think when you taste it. Though I must admit that I prefer the way you taste above all else.
I long to hold you, to kiss you, to take you back to our bed so that I may worship you as the goddess you are. But for now we must wait, allow the others to  have had their chance to celebrate you. Afterward, however, you shall be all mine once again. A moment for which I will be counting every second until. Happy Birthday my beautiful Saccharine. See you tonight in the Great Hall my love. Until then…
Your loving Husband,
-C

Rose
When Annie found Mary, she was in the garden among the roses. They were in full bloom; a sea of red, yellow, orange, white and pink, and Mary was sitting in the middle of its waves, her eyes unfocused and her mind very far away. It was a side of her Annie had only rarely caught glimpses of before, and every time she had, she’d found herself missing the shy smile that usually lit up Mary’s face when they were together. Today was no exception. Annie had no idea why it mattered so much to her, that smile; she just knew that it did.
She had to tread carefully, though. Mary was a gentle, sensitive soul. When she was lost in memories of times long gone, trying to cheer her up would not work, especially not by force. Annie had learned that the hard way. She’d been like a dog with a bone and only realised she’d crossed a line when Mary wordlessly got up and left her standing in the rain. Mary had refused to talk to her for a week after that – a week that had felt like a month to Annie. Rogh could barely string a sentence together and Humphrey, while pleasant enough most of the time, was just so terribly dull that she’d found herself bored out of her mind not even two days after Mary had given her the cold shoulder.
These days, Annie was more careful when she approached Mary when she was in a melancholic mood. She kept her steps deliberately light as she sat down next to her among the roses. Bees were buzzing all around them and happily humming as they went from one blossom to the next. For a breath or two, Annie sat perfectly still in their midst before she turned to Mary and carefully placed her hand on her arm to get her attention. “Mary?”
Mary blinked as if waking from a dream. “Oh. Where didst thou cometh from?”
Annie nodded at the house. “From inside. I’ve been looking all over for you. What are you doing out here?”
“Remembering,” Mary sighed softly before she turned her attention back to the roses. It took all of Annie’s willpower not to ask her what she meant. Instead, she followed Mary’s gaze to the white flower and its pink tips in front of them, wondering what her friend was seeing and silently hoping Mary would tell her. Patience was not her strong suit, not since she’d died and learned what true freedom meant. But for Mary, she was willing to wait. An eternity, if need be.
“Dids you have children?” Mary asked her softly after the silence had stretched along with the shadows the sun cast.
Annie shook her head. “No. The life I had – I did not want any children to be silenced like I’d been.”
Mary hummed in understanding. “I dids. Five babes. None lived beyond the age of three.”
Oh, Annie thought and felt her heart break quietly.
“My last child was a daughter,” Mary went on, still looking at the rose. “She was a pretty little thing, rarely cried. We called her Rose – ‘twas because she was a summer child, you see?”
“It’s a beautiful name,” Annie said softly.
Mary nodded and then, very quietly, said, “Tis her birthday today.”
“Oh Mary,” Annie whispered and wrapped an arm around her to pull her close. “Is there anything I can do?”
She felt Mary lean into her touch with a sigh that bore the weight of years of sadness. “We used to sing for our children when they were born.”
Annie could just imagine Mary and her husband gazing down at their daughter with love in their eyes as they celebrated her life. She could also imagine the underlying fear, the terror of, What if we lose her to winter and sickness like all the others? and desperately wished life had been kinder to Mary and her family.
“Let’s sing for little Rose, then,” she said with a smile that showed nothing of her own sadness she felt for her best friend. “So she knows she’s not forgotten.”
Mary gave her a grateful look, and as their voices rang out in the garden, the wind carried the melody up into the blue sky where the bright light that had once taken Rose was waiting for all of them.

FOR THE HOPE OF IT ALL
Pt Chapter 4: Twin Flame
I wake up feeling full of energy. This is the first night in some days where I have actually gotten eight hours of good sleep. I still feel fiery after my conversation with Sebastian in the Undercroft, but most of all I feel powerful in a way I haven't before. Like I have so many options to explore and none are written in stone. Before, everything felt so crystal clear with him but now I'm unsure. And frankly, it's quite relaxing to know that whatever is meant to be, will be.
The autumn sun is making itself noticed, making the entire castle have a warm glow inside. This would be the perfect day to play quidditch, but of course the try-outs haven't even taken place yet. Since I woke up early I decide to head outside before my morning class in potions. The sun is warming my face and the entire castle is surrounded by yellow leaves. The air is crisp and fresh, making me feel warm inside. I walk down to the boathouse since I think the view over the Black Lake is incredible from there.
The sun is making the lake glitter and there are yellow leaves as far as my eyes can see. It's absolutely beautiful and I wish I could just get on my broom and fly until I have seen every single tree, but this will have to wait since my time is rather limited. I notice someone sitting on the dock, swinging their feet above the water. As I walk closer I recognize the Slytherin robe as well as the hair. It looks like Anne.
''Anne?'' I ask and the person turns around. Very correctly, it's Anne.
''Oh, hi Y/n,'' she says in a soft voice. ''You're out early.''
''I could say the same for you,'' I reply as I sit down next to her, stunned by the view.
''I'm just trying to get as much out of Hogwarts as possible,'' she says whilst looking down at her swinging feet. ''You know, since I missed so much.''
''The feeling is mutual,'' I say and look at her with a smile.
''Yeah, I can only imagine how much you must feel like you missed,'' she gives me a kind smile.
We sit, looking at the sun and the lake together. For some time we are silent, which oddly enough doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. Sometimes it's weird to sit in silence with someone you barely know, but with Anne it feels natural. After all, we have been through some bad things together. Even if we barely knew each other, lots of our pain was mutual.
''The pain,'' I begin to ask her. ''Is it bearable?''
Anne gives me a disappointed face.
''Unfortunately it's not,'' she says with a sad smile on her face. ''But I'm going to live with this for the rest of my life and I don't want to let everything go to waste because of it. I must try to make the most out of life.''
''That's very strong of you,'' I tell her sincerely. ''You have been through more pain than one should experience in a lifetime. I really admire you for coming back.''
She gives me a kind smile. Her face looks pale with massive bags under her eyes. Just like all the other times I've seen her. She looks so exhausted, but she still continues to make the most out of her life. I find it really admirable.
''Thank you Y/n,'' she says with a sincere voice. ''That's really kind of you to say. I really see why Sebastian is so fond of you.''
I feel my cheeks flushing slightly, but I quickly try my very best to collect myself to not let my feelings get the best of me. Anne stands up and starts walking away. I sit a bit longer, taking in the view and the crisp air. Eventually, I have been at the lake for so long that I don't have time for breakfast before class. But even though I'm on an empty stomach, I feel more energized than I have in a long time.
I sit down next to Garreth, who has been my companion in potions ever since the time we brewed amortentia together. He's funny and always lightens my mood. As soon as I step foot in the classroom he greets me and I pretend to head over to a different seat, just to pull a joke on him. He, however, is not as pleased when I come back to the seat next to him.
''If you can find something better, I suggest you go,'' he says in a forced upset voice.
''Oh, don't be silly Garreth,'' I tell him with a cheeky smile. ''You know there is no better seat in this class except for the one next to you.''
''Don't make me blush,'' he says whilst rolling his eyes. ''I mean, obviously this is the best seat. But you don't have to make a big deal out of it.''
''Me?'' I ask. ''I would never.''
As we sit there, laughing together I notice Sebastian walking in. Our eyes meet, but he quickly looks away when he sees my smile from talking to Garreth. This might be the first time he has ever broken our eye contact like this, which is why I notice it. However, I don't let it affect my conversation with Garreth.
After class, Garreth follows me out. I notice Sebastian looking uncomfortable, but now that we're friends he will simply have to accept that he will see me enjoying myself in the company of other people than him. We walk through the courtyard and Garreth's hair looks as if it's on fire in the sunlight and his green eyes are sparkling. I never really paid much attention to his looks before, but he is actually fairly attractive.
''Oh, Y/n,'' he says as we walk past a group of other students.
''Yes?'' I reply.
''Could I maybe,'' he suddenly seems shy, which is odd since he's normally so outgoing. ''Could I take you for a butterbeer or two this weekend?''
His question baffles me. I'm unsure whether he wants to go as friends, or if it's a date. A year ago I would have been convinced it was a friendly activity, but after Sebastian convinced me that butterbeer was romantic, I feel unsure. But no matter what Garreth's intentions are, I'm looking forward to it.
''Only if I can take you to Hogsmeade on my broom,'' I joke, but I am in fact dead serious.
He looks terrified, but lights up after what seems like he had second thoughts.
''It's a date,'' he says in a firm tone before he turns around and walks away.
I'm smiling to myself, feeling both ecstatic and nervous after what just happened. And I can't believe I'm going on a date with Garreth Weasley. Ominis interrupts my moment of joy for myself.
''Did I just hear you agree to a date with Garreth Weasley?'' he asks curiously.
''You did, indeed,'' I tell him in a proud voice.
''Good for you,'' Ominis says in a sincere voice.
Of course Ominis was very much aware of the fact that I still had feelings for Sebastian. After all, I hesitated for way too long when he asked me if I was over Sebastian.
''Ominis?'' I ask him. He looks at me as if he's waiting for me to go on. ''Would you consider going for a butterbeer to be a friendly or romantic activity?''
''That depends,'' he says and laughs. ''I mean, if you and I were to go for a butterbeer it would be strictly friendly. But for you and Sebastian? Or you and Garreth, it's romantic. I guess it all just comes down to the person you're doing it with.''
I nod and think I understand what he means. I was thinking the same way, but I needed some clarity.
''You should ask Imelda to go for a butterbeer,'' I tell him and his cheeks flush.
I spend the afternoon in the library. Not because I read particularly much, but because I felt like it. I find a divination book called Spiritual Connections and it caught my attention right away, so I grab it and sit down in a corner. I skip through the pages, but I go back since something caught my eye. Twin flame.
Twin flames
Twin flames, or mirror soul, is a phenomenon that no wizard or witch have ever been able to confirm actually exists. The fundamental idea is that one soul has split into two different bodies and when the bodies find each other, the soul becomes complete.
The twin flame is known for showing each other your deepest, darkest fears and your insecurities. But also hope, love and healing. When the two bodies meet, they will feel as if they've known each other before. Furthermore, from the moment they meet they will feel constantly drawn to each other. These relationships are known to be very intense since you have such a deep, spiritual connection. And when you meet them, you know.
However, no twin flame relationship is ever easy. They are destined to make you face challenges and make you become better. There will be times where the relationship is being tested, as your fears and insecurities are starting to overflow. In some connections, this will be the part where the mirror souls commit to each other completely, but in most cases there will be a separation. In this phase, there is always one soul that walks away. And one must chase the other. It's almost as if these relationships are defined by a pushing and a pulling force.
After the separation, the flames will surrender and accept their fate. This is where you accept each other and yourselves. And only then can you allow yourself to come home.
Twin flame relationships are often very intense and turbulent, which is often very overwhelming. It is important to know that these kinds of connections are not always meant to be together.
I shut the book close. This hit too close to home. Despite the book stating very clearly that there is no proofs that these connections exist, I immediately think about Sebastian. The back and forth. The almost magnetic force making me feel drawn to him. And the separation, where one chases the other.
I spend the entire evening thinking about twin flame connections, consumed in thoughts and desperate to learn more. Divination was never my favourite subject, but I always liked the way Professor Onai spoke about it. Maybe I could ask her for more information. However, I'm not her favorite student after everything that happened with Natty during my first year. Nonetheless, I decide to talk to her soon.
