Thriller - it is quite literally only your insist and police refusal that means you’re not the star of the Thriller music video, I’m saying. there’s a lot of pressure on Michael during this era, but he won’t ever take that out on you, he’ll confide in you and need your comfort. you’ll be at every tour date with him, no question. he begins to understand the negatives of being in the public eye and gets very upset when the media publish anything pertaining to your relationship - who are they to have an opinion on what they know nothing about? it upsets him, but you’re there to reassure him that there words are nothing, that you two know you’re good and that’s all that matters.

Dangerous - this era specifically is Michael’s peak for gift giving (that ornate album cover says it all); he will insist upon buying you every single thing you ever want in general, but in this era? if you have some obscure dream of owning an animal shelter or hospital or store of any kind, Michael has it built for you in secret to surprise you with it. he wants you to have your own ventures, your own passions and joys, and he feels honored he is the one to give them to you. he loves hearing about you running your own business, seeing you so happy living your every dream with him.

Blood On The Dance Floor - not all that different to the Dangerous era except to stay Mike’s playing you from Neverland to wherever he is on any given day for some post-show romancing. that’s all. kinkiest era Idc.

Invincible - in this era, he’s adamant about staying home with you rather than touring; he’s seen so much of the world, you’re the only world he wants to orbit for the rest of his life. this is Michael’s most paranoid era, so everything is done with the utmost secrecy, in particular any travel/holiday plans, but he’ll take you anywhere you’d like to go, everywhere you’ve ever dreamt of visiting - home is wherever you are. this is very much also a honeymoon era, in that you will be Michael’s solace through the stress of this time, and that only makes him adore you all the more.

Summary: You are Rhys's little sister (only by like 7-8 years), and you and Cassian have been flirting with each other for the last few months. You want it to go further but he's your brother's best friend and he probably only sees you as a sister anyway. Little do you know, Cassian can't stop picturing you in not-so-innocent scenarios.

The sweat is pouring down your face and neck, despite the cold, snowy night air around you. You’ve been out here for hours with a sword in your hands, running through the training drills you’ve seen the males do every day. Up, over, down, up, side, in, down, repeat. 

You are so focused on getting the movements right, you don't hear the footsteps approaching. “Well, look who I found,” says a low voice behind you. 

Your heart races as you spin on your heel, holding your weapon level with the stranger's midsection. As you take him in, you recognize the winged male before you. “For the love of the Mother Cassian! You fucking scared me.” You say without lowering your sword. 

Cassian chuckles, looking you up and down. You are wearing leather training gear, with your raven hair tied back in an elaborate braid. Your wings are nowhere in sight, and the moon is reflecting off your sapphire eyes. 

You two stay like this for a few seconds, him standing in front of you as you keep your blade trained on him. You're the first to speak. “What are you doing out here Cas?” you lower the Illyrian sword, sheathing it at your hip, then cross your arms as you glare at him.  

His gaze is piercing, but you’ve seen it so many times that you're unfazed by it. “I was looking for you. Rhys noticed that you weren’t in your room, and sent me out to find you.” He grins. “But I never thought I’d find you with a sword in your hand, going through the moves better than any of the males your age.” he steps towards you, so you take a step back with a small smile on your face. 

“Well, you’ve found me, but I’m not going home till I get this down pat.”  You say as you reach for your sword. Cassian takes another step forwards, so you take another one backward. 

“I don’t think so, y/n. You can finish up tomorrow morning in town where the animals of these forests can’t get you.” He smirks, but you see a glint of something other than his usual arrogance in his eyes. Is that actual concern? 

Deciding you don’t want to play fair, you take a step closer to close the distance between the two of you. You can see his breath coming out in clouds and the damn smirk that’s still on his gorgeous face. You stand on your toes so you’re close to his face and whisper, “I’ll go with you, but only if you can catch me.” without giving him time to register what you said, you take off into the dark woods.

Cauldron boil him alive. Cassian knew you’d be in the forest, you always were, but he never thought that he would find you looking like a warrior goddess in those oh-so-tight leathers, wielding a real Illyrian sword like it was nothing. Mother above, you were beautiful. He almost didn't want to disturb you, but Rhys had been worried, so he’d bring you back to the house. Then you closed the space between the two of you, and he started to come up with other ideas that should not be going through his head. Gods, he wanted you so bad. But you were Rhys’ sister so it could never happen. That Rhysand would know about, anyway. He was about to cross the line when you turned the other way and disappeared. 

“Fuck!” Cassian exclaimed. He scanned the dark woods around him, but you were gone. Looking up at the stars, he started to laugh. You want to play? Then game on. 

You're running through the thick trees. You can hear Cassian laughing in the distance and smile to yourself. You know he's not going to go down without a fight, so you pick up your pace, looking around and keeping your senses on high alert for animals and Illyrians alike. You reach a tall tree just outside of a cave and decide to trick him further. 

You summon your wings as you run toward the cave. You only go in a few steps and then fly out and up a tree. Putting your wings away, you perch on a branch, waiting for Cassian to find your tacks and enter the cave. 

You're not sure why you have to constantly tease him, that's just how your relationship has always been. But the last few months have felt different. They have felt like you're not just throwing words back and forth anymore. The tension you feel when he walks in a room, the way your stomach lurches when he hits you with his signature lopsided grin, or how when he looks at you it seems to light you on fire.

 Oh how you’ve wished to cross the line of friends and be more, but how could he feel the same? He’s your brother's best friend and has known you your whole life. He probably only thinks of you as Rhysands annoying younger sister. He was sent out here to fetch you after all. 

A snapping sound from the ground brings you back to the present. You assume it’s Cassian, having followed your footprints. But the creature you see is not your handsome Illyrian. 

Your heart beats faster when you see the sheer size of the beast. It’s covered in fur, with a tail and a massive body. Its head is about the size of a boulder, and with the light from the moon, you can see long talon-like teeth protruding from its mouth. It's sniffing at your footprints in the snow leading into the cave. It disappears from sight as you slowly make your way down the tree where you were hiding. 

You have to find Cassian. And as if the Mother herself was listening, you catch a glimpse of his wings out of the corner of your eye. You quietly make your way to him. He has his back to you, so you sneak up and put your hand over his mouth so he won't make a sound. 

Cassian freezes. Then in a blur of movement, you're pinned to the snowy forest floor with Cas on top of you. 

Cassian's heart is racing as he pins the person down. He's been on edge since he saw very large animal tracks heading in the same direction as yours. He was almost frantic scouring the trees for you. But as he looks at who he has pinned, he heaves a sigh of relief. You are not being eaten alive. 

Your eyes are dilated as you look up at him, smiling slightly. 

“We have to get out of here,” Cassian whispers. You nod your head as he gets off of you. But you're pulling him back down so he's flush against your chest.

Cassian looks at you with questioning eyes but you answer with a searing kiss.

You’re not entirely sure what came over you. Him pinning you down and looking at you the way he was. You had no words to describe what you felt at that moment. You just kissed him.

His mouth was hot and his lips chapped from the cold air. At first, you thought he was going to pull away and look at you like you were crazy, so you started to pull away yourself. But before you could fully detach your lips, his mouth came down hard on yours. There was heat and passion in the kiss. A hunger you thought he didn’t feel, but with the fierceness, he slid his hands up your shirt and groaned into your mouth which made you realize that you were not the only one who was desperate for the other. 

You broke the kiss reluctantly, looking into his dark eyes. “We should probably go back before that creature I saw gets us.” you manage to say between your pants. Cassian simply nods and you are up in the sky. 

Cassian always prided himself on being able to keep his composure, but flying back to Windhaven with you in his arms, kissing his neck, and winding your fingers through his unbound hair was going to shatter him. He lands hard on the doorstep, letting you stand on your own. He pushes the door open to find the house empty. 

You walk over to the kitchen table, where a note is placed. You turn to face him, reading what is on the paper. “Rhysand had to go back to Valaris, so we have the house to ourselves.” The smile you gave him was pure sin. 

Cassian didn’t have control over his own body when it closed the distance and connected your lips to his. His hands went straight to your waist to pull you closer, as yours wound through his wind-swept hair. The noises that came from your mouth had Cas wrapping your legs around him and moving to the closest bedroom. 

What Cassian would never be able to forget was how much he loved it when you said “What’s wrong with right here on the counter?” His knees almost gave out. He set you on the edge of the counter while sliding his hands up your training shirt to take it off. You were just as eager as you undid the laces of his pants, making him lean into your touch and groan. 

He was big. You’ve been with males before, but never one who compared to Cassian. He was working on your tight pants as you started kissing his neck, leaving marks along his jaw and shoulder. He tasted like night air and sweat, and Mother was it sexy. Keeping your hand in his unbound pants, you moved to get closer, but he held you still.

“You keep doing that love, and this will be over far sooner than I want it to be,” Cassian growled in your ear, making a surge of heat go straight to your core. 

Cassian pulled down your leggings and sucked in a deep breath, and you remembered that you had nothing on underneath them. What can you say, it's more comfortable to train with just the leggings. Next thing you know, you're laying flat on your back and Cassian has his head between your legs, looking you dead in the eye. 

“If you want me to stop, I will.'' The look on his face is one of the most serious you’ve seen. You nod your head.

“I don’t want you to stop Cass.” You reply with a shaky breath. 

He smirks and dives in. 

He licks your slit and feels you shiver and gasp at the action. So he does it again, and again. You taste so good, he’ll never be able to get enough of you, and by the way you’re moaning and gripping his hair, you’re loving this. His hands move up your thighs to your hips and squeeze. At the same time, he bit down on her clit. 

“Cassian!” you cry out. Your voice was music to his ears, encouraging him to go faster. He added a finger to tease your entrance, and without warning plunged in.

His finger hit a spot in you that you didn’t know existed. Arching your back off the counter as he ate you out like a starved male, you threaded your fingers threw his hair and pulled him away from you. He looked up at you with a question in his eyes. Do you want to stop?

Cassian hauled you up and took you to your bedroom. The whole way there you were stripping both of your remaining clothes, leaving a trail down the hall and up the stairs. Cassian's lips leave open-mouthed kisses on any bare skin he can reach and your combing your fingers through his hair, loving the feeling of him underneath you. 

Next thing you know, your back hits your massive Illyrian bed, and a massive Illyrian is on top of you, staring down at you with dark hungry eyes. His mouth connects with yours and you wrap your legs around his waist, being careful of his wings. You groan into him at the feeling of his hard cock pressed against your entrance. Cassian takes the opportunity to slip his tongue in your mouth. Not wanting to be outdone, you trace your hand over where his wing connects to his muscular back. He growls and bites down on your bottom lip then goes to bite down on where your shoulder and neck join. 

“Cassian, if you're going to fuck me, fuck me already.” You said and his teeth grazed the top of your breast.

“Needy are we?” He takes his lips off my skin. You’re about to protest, but all that comes out is a loud moan as Cassian lines up with your entrance and thrusts in.

this is such a niche fandom overlap and i’m only doing it for me and my bsf and maybe one other person on here but

STAR WARS PREQUEL CHARACTERS IF THEY PLAYED VALORANT

anakin — one of the rare duelist instalocks who actually comms and even IGLs for the team. the guy’s a war general so he def tries, but if they start losing he gets moody as shit. he only plays jett and if he can’t get his agent he will dodge the game; but you can count on him to always carry. also he’s a comp menace. definitely high immortal or radiant, has a smurf account so he can play with his friends. loves the reaver bundle.

obi-wan — definitely more relaxed, probably only queues unrated and plays whatever agent the team needs, though probably prefers brim. great PMA and is a decent player, always better on defensive half. probably plays cypher and is always exactly where he needs to be to win the round. bought no skins but can’t resist picking up the kuronami if he sees it.

ahsoka — prodigal raze main. probably plays neon on maps where raze isn’t compatible, anything she can to be moving around fast as fuck. she also likes ratting with shotguns, gets down on herself when she doesn’t play well. gold/plat rank and probably only does swift plays bc she gets impatient if they start to lose too hard. loves using oni phantom and complains that they don’t have a ghost skin.

rex — most clones are fuckin goated at this game, they’re trained warriors after all there’s no way the kamino sims weren’t like this. he 100% plays chamber exclusively, and is a rlly good player. solid IGL capabilities but prefers someone else to take the lead. probably diamond/ascendant, and loves the recon skinpack.

padme — idc what you say she is goated at this game bc she has to play w anakin all the time. he probably smurfed to play with her at the beginning but she got all the way back up to his rank. she and her handmaidens all share one account (which probably has a cringe matching username w/ anakin). asc/immo. mains killjoy — always accurate with her comms and util. has every skin in the game so her and her handmaidens can pick their favorites.

palpatine — has two accounts, one in bronze and one in radiant. his bronze one he uses to play w anakin where he just pretends to be really bad, and probably locks brim or sova bc he has no other characters unlocked. his other one is where he’s hella toxic and locks in phoenix just to sabotage his teammates if they’re too nice. top tier hater. uses sentinels of light skin on his radiant account so he can do the weird thing with the kill animation. or the champions melee so he can show off the kills he has

yoda — plays neon exclusively bc it mirrors his actual fighting style, and probably has not ranked out of iron. keeps himself in iron or bronze and will randomly carry people to higher ranks if they’re polite to him. definitely a rat player — him and ahsoka terrorize lobbies together. uses gaia bundle.

windu — probably doesn’t play all that often, and usually only does it with yoda or obi-wan. mains skye, bc he likes playing characters that help his team. not interested in winning, probably ranks in plat lobbies bc his aim is good. always ends up blinding his teammates and gets down on himself for it. likes the singularity bundle

dooku — instalocks kayo and never uses abilities other than his knife and ult bc he believes in aim superiority. scorns people who use characters that can heal and revive themself; gets ragey when people point out kayo can be revived. always plays alone or with ventress. if he gets into a lobby with a jedi he will do everything. in his power to make sure they lose. hardstuck ascendant bc he doesn’t use abilities. uses the forsaken bundle bc he considers it the most elegant of the skins.

ventress — hear me out when i say this girl mains breach, because she lives to make other people angry and breach is the most infuriating character to play against. she will always bait her teammates and she will always clutch in the most irritating way. her teammates can’t even be mad because she’s carrying them, but at their own expense. probably gold/plat max bc she only cares about her kills and not about the win. devoted prelude to chaos lover

maul — i am telling you with my whole soul this man wants to be a yoru main. and he’s not great at it, but he’s the only agent he will play. his aim is solid but he doesn’t have a good sense of how the other team plays, so he always ends up getting caught with his flash out or teleporting right into three different players at once. he also doesn’t comm, ever, unless it’s to curse someone out. only plays comp and only loses. if he’s in a lobby with kenobi he throws and spam reports him for cheating. bronze/silver but would be higher if he stopped playing yoru. uses the protocol bundle because he thinks it’s cool and it reminds him of his old training modules.

savage — fills sage and always revives maul when he dies in a stupid location. will only heal maul and will not communicate with the other team unless they are nice to his brother. somehow manages to avoid getting into gunfights but when he does he always crouch sprays. really likes the guardian and the elderflame bundle because the dragons are cool as shit.

bo-katan — devoted fade main, but could probably play any agent with ease. enjoys using voice changers to troll people and has a very low tolerance for sexism. literally just a solid player who doesnt top or bottom frag but is somehow the most capable person in the lobby at any given time. can and will disconnect from the game if people start being mean to her, and comes back 10 minutes later when they’re on the cusp of losing just to bring them back. diamond, but only because she keeps getting banned for disconnecting. likes the chronovoid bundle for the cool melee inspect

cody — sova main, and probably loves learning lineups. him and obi wan have combo moves and great chemistry in and out of game, and they probably duo together more often than anakin and obi wan do (anakin always plays with padme). probably ends up bottom fragging because he’s too invested in using his abilities than actually playing the game, but can easily clutch up when his team needs him. loves the ego bundle bc it reminds him of his armor, and doesn’t care for skins that change the gun’s sound effects.

fives — he loves playing gekko and trolling people with his abilities and ultimate. always brings good vibes to the lobby but mostly plays with his brothers in their custom games. not the greatest with his aim but his flashes always manage to blind the entire team — he just misses all his shots and blames it on their weird movement. he’s a shit player because he wants to be, and because he likes being able to play with his shiny friends when they first start the game without putting them into hard lobbies. blatantly uses blastx odin.

barriss — probably an astra main. just seems like a very cool headed player but gets easily irritated when her team doesn’t play the way she needs them to. can’t adapt, and therefore ends up having a hard time with the game. silver/gold lobbies at best. ahsoka bought her the ruination bundle and now it’s the only thing she uses. not too much to say for her other than the fact that she’d be a lot better if she realized everyone’s gonna play a little different.

qui-gon — this guy loves playing harbor. he’s definitely a bad player and gets a kick out of making people angry at him and then bringing up that he’s trying to learn how to play so he can play with his son, which is true because he only learned to play with obi wan. also only plays unrated and his play style changes every single game and no one is sure if he’s going to kill 40 people or 4. he probably backseats, too, after he’s dead. probably likes the neo frontier skins because they’re retro as shit. he seems like he’d like cowboys.

plagueis — plays clove because they’re immortal and can heal themselves, and be fucks w that necromancy shit. definitely not good at the game but doesn’t get toxic with his team. god tier IGL but only plays for himself unless the team starts catering to his tastes. probably diamond rank just because he’s good but not great, and doesn’t play the game that much. uses the cryostasis bundle because he’s got a thing for cold planets.

OC x canon:

alright let's get the elephant out of the room here. I love OC x canon and idc what anyone's tells me about it. Yeah it may be cringe, but I think that if you hc your original character is in love a pre existing character is good and it can even be a good idea for those who are starting out with shipping other characters and see where you can go from there.

Metasusie:

Ok it's a moreso of a ship I like to look at perspective and say "I think it's a cute ship". And i know it's a controversial ship, but I personally think that metasusie can be put into perspective how meta knight's and Susie's relationship have changed since the events of the original game, but many people have misinterpreted Susie as more malicious than she actually is and taken things like torture fics to be canon when there's really not that much info to go off of.

Friendships

The main four:

I really love the main four's (Kirby, bandee, King dedede and meta knight) dynamic so so much like it can be considered a found family if you will and I'm so grateful that the new Kirby games showoff this dynamic very well.

The animal friends: I'm surprised how the animal friends have not been in much Kirby games recently other than star ailies, to be frank the idea of them having a great time with Kirby and with them being different pets, Kirby like to play with them a whole lot

Gooey: gooey treats Kirby as a big brother in my hc and also who likes to think about a whole lot about popstar and the entire world around him as well.

Magolor: Magolor is extremely greatful to have Kirby as a best friend After what had happened thoughout the events of rtdl deluxe, He didn't want to ask for forgiveness at first, but he felt extremely guilty for what happened So he proves to Kirby that he can succeed and even change as a person. (even if Kirby has forgave Magolor)

Bandee: he is kirby's bestest of friends and would do anything for Kirby. After the events of super star ultra he would officially become Kirby's best friends and their relationship is so so important to me because both bandee and Kirby often are seen playing with each other or drinking apple juice or he is seen even humming the song to himself.

Dark meta knight: I'd like to think after the events of amazing mirror and star aillies, he comes down to popstar more often to either draw with Adeline and to even improve as a person, even if it means being slightly annoyed at meta knight

Meta Knight: I personally think he is mostly Kirby's friend as well, and seeing how this was the first ever Kirby character I liked when I first played as him in smash bros. King dedede: originally rivals, but turned to friends and even great allies. ava is a handheld console girlie. if pokemon nurse were an actual profession she'd be employee of the month thirteen times a year. her animal crossing island has a better economy than every continent combined. that being said the day her brothers introduced her to warioware was the day the world was introduced to true bloodshed. has broken at least one controller because of sheer emotional attachment to a cute character. treats pikmin like a survival horror game and dead space like a sci-fi romcom. got the pacifist ending in undertale and does not understand why other rpgs don't have the mercy option. unless rory's in the game at which point she brings out the laser guns or whatever to get back at him for making her reveal her middle name. you know he's let that slip to more than one call of duty lobby ok let a girl live.

layla's favourite game is google chrome. she's boring and i love her for that. she speedruns minesweeper and solitaire to get her mind off particularly devastating biographies. she's friends with everyone's parents on candy crush and scrabble. she could be a gm on chess.com but she overthinks her moves to the point of losing on time despite playing as white. she's almost been hacked so many times because she can't resist correcting bad moves on word formation advertisements and gets led to online casino #infinity or something. she has a lifelong streak on every new york times game except vertex because you cannot tell me wildstar's constant use of her magic didn't destroy her eyesight even further.

isabel puts the bro in smash bros. rotates between king k. rool, sonic, and greninja because she has a brand and it must be tangential to adhd medication. in the same vein as sophia i think she touches grass too much to be considered a gamer girl but she makes rory keep up with madden and fifa news just to figure out if she's been added to the latest installment. she has a skateboard on her dorm wall but never uses it so i'm thinking she played through the og trilogy of tony hawk's games as a kid and echoed every voice line to the point of perfect memorisation. take the word dude away from her and she's mute. also i think she discovered happy wheels on her mom's computer and ruined several important business presentations that way.

valentina is a slightly grown ipad kid. i'm sorry but you can't tell me she didn't steal her style from dress to impress. also she rates everyone one star on those games not because she's a corrupt voter but because she has a sixth sense for when a bitch is hiding bacon hair beneath a hundred layers of sparkles. up there with isabel in terms of lacking screen time video game wise because i truly believe her family would spend their money on better (read: elite-r) past times but she 1000% plays the sims. one world is for planning fashion moments and carrying on the digital furi bloodline. one world is for drowning people by deleting their pool ladders and saying "not now sweetie mommy's cyberbullying the mayor" to her baby who's on fire.

rory's room looks like a gamestop. idc about his canon phone case he is SILLY. he will play anyone in smash as long as it looks funny next to the other character but he has a soft spot for kirby, yoshi, zero suit samus (isabel side eyes him very hard for this at first but it's still a very gay choice i promise) and wii fit trainer. his personality is held together by goat simulator, untitled goose game, and donut county. also duct tape and blue raspberry gum. he trolls a little (a lot) on first person shooters and mmorpgs mostly so he can pretend with an ounce of plausible deniability that he's just having a fun unserious time when sophia and/or ava beat his ass at both even though they're on the same team.

ur girl just watched the little mermaid remake and idc what anyone says it snapped and it was an actually good remake after god knows how long (around 7 years i believe since cinderella was also a good remake that snapped and it came out around 2015-16 ish i think).

The underwater animation was a joy to watch and the mermaid tails were so creative it wasnt corny or too fake looking it was fun, colorful, very natural but also very whimsical, it was perfect, i dare say. - bakusquad is always protective over her , especially when her quirk is off , she’s so beautiful , so she get hits on a lot but she can handle herself ofc but their just their…(waiting to attack)

- definitely sleeps in bakugou room to annoy him , one time bakugou was walking to his room half way asleep not knowing Mina was trailing behind him the whole time , bakugou got in the bed and felt pressure on the other side of the bed , once he looked over he saw a the grinning smile on her face , he didn’t kick her out but complained for like 2 hours and she’s just their listening to him yap and babble as she falls asleep right there left side on his bed and he’s still yapping.

- Her and Sero go out to get supplies for the dorm and her hair , they always end up at a gaming store or a clothing store.

- Kirishima always goes to her when needs to vent (not like that…) but she knows how he gets , she best at comforting too! , their also besties , she always looked up to him but little did she know Kirishima was her 1# admirer.

- When she was younger she watched girls kissing (don’t ask me why , I just know she did)

okay okay arlecchino story quest thoughts

overall i liked it but mainly the whole duel sequence which was fucking awesome but some points that bugged me:

the release of arlecchino's animated short basically spoiling the entire story quest

mentioned in the tags of my previous post but yeah i think the story quest would have been a lot more... idk interesting? revealing? if the animated short had been released after this patch/story quest. you basically spend the entire first half of the story quest already knowing the "twist" and have to watch literally everyone else figure it out which is never really engaging nor fun story telling.

like you KNOWWW arlecchino is not "that evil" and you KNOWWWWW all these atrocities were from the previous knave so seeing literally everybody go through these theatrics is a little. sigh. idk. like i was just waiting to get to the boss fight bc i knew the corresponding cutscenes would be awesome (and they were) and getting random fatui insider knowledge was fun i enjoyed having what was effectively seeing arlecchino and childe in the office break room but we didn't really learn anything we didn't already know

also. arlecchino is hardly the first but it really is just kinda. sigh when you basically get a whole scene of the character explaining their OWN tragic backstory. once again genshin fails to show not tell

i know a lot of people are upset about the freminet timeline. honestly idc at this point i'll suspend my belief whatever yadda yadda but i do think it was a cop out for freminet to have like. not at least been SUSPICIOUS that clervie was possibly talking about the previous knave just because crucabena "didn't talk about it and all the experiments ended" by the time he joined the house

like he spent a significant time with clervie (half a month right?) trying to help her out and even if clervie was "a child stuck in the past" she wasn't exactly trying to hide anything and they ALL knew she was some sort of ghost or maybe something tied to memories/leylines. and he KNEW crucabena so i'm just like. a little aghast he didn't have any damn idea like at least make him suspicious right so he and the traveler can join heads and be like "hmmmmmmm something is not right here HMMMMMMMMM" like if you are SO sure arlecchino isn't "that kind of person" (ig this was more lyney saying this but still) wouldn't you consider maaaaaaaaaaaybe the previous knaves were?

there was a single moment when they were at the table sharing intel that freminet was "lost in thought" and i think that would have been a fantastic moment for freminet to be the star and voice his suspicious but we got literally nothing from that.

honestly just disappointed freminet didn't do more in the story tbh. the trailer was really hyping him up to literally change the game lol

i mean we saw it coming we knew she was gonna spare those children somehow. idrk how to describe it like on one hand yes would be nice to have more morally fucked up characters and its a little disappointing that arlecchino isn't "that bad" she's actually super normal all things considering (childe fucking LIED) on the other hand i don't necessarily hate this is the way they made her character? but the result of the duel still felt like a huge cop out lmao like it was basically an indirect "your resolve towards family impressed me so i'll let them live" which was exactly how i didn't want this to be resolved but also don't know how they would have done it otherwise

anyways.

regardless i loved the main battle cutscene in her boss form. loved that bit where she blocked freminet and lynette's dual attack and was like "sorry for what? this pitiful excuse for an attack?" i was banging my fist on the table i loved that bit sooooooooooo fucking much dear god

ending cutscene was expected and bittersweet but i liked it a lot as well. really the graphics and me just really liking arlecchino saved this quest for me LOL i think it has a lot of plot holes compared to other story quests but also a much more interesting story (bar is in hell) although you're guaranteed to get some sort of lore with a weekly boss but anyways it averages out to being a pretty okay but not spectacular story quest 👍 maybe like a 6/10, would have rated it higher if the animated short didn't spoil everything
