Just tonight, I have finally finished my mini-series: Pokéhorror

Each episode was a 2-5 minute long short-story (except for the finale), detailing various scenarios, homages, and fan theories that could occur in the Pokémon world. I personally created all of my art for these stories, so let me show you them.

“Vengeful Spirit” was what started it all. I was so amazed by my own work I thought “why not try and create a cool short horror story with Annihilape?” And so I did. Originally this was meant as a screen saver, but I decided against it and instead opted for what I just said.

The reason “They Came from the Stars” is also horizontal is because I started this series by posting videos on TikTok rather than just YouTube.

Probably one of the most successful drawings I made, “Warzone” depicts a Mega Garchomp after chopping off the arm of an Electabuzz during the middle of a battle

An homage to my favorite movie, Jurassic Park, Ancient Power was meant to depict the same themes of the movie: mankind cannot control nature.

“What Time Pulls” was the first video I did that was meant for YouTube. It also gave me more space to create a wider environment.

By far one of my creepiest fanart of Pokémon, “Come with me” is just as eerie as the story I used for it.

Probably one of my laziest drawings for the series, I really struggled with coming up with ideas for “Wave-Bringer”. However, I am satisfied with the video’s story as it references Jaws.

The last three images were what I designed for the finale which is based on the fan theory of Guzzlord being a corrupted Zygarde. This is where “Cellular Corruption” gets its name from.

So, whenever I find a new series that really grabs hold of me, it's only a matter of time before I start to wonder what Pokemon teams some of the characters would have.

Long story short, I kinda wanna make my own Madoka/Pokemon AU, complete with art pieces and maybe even some fanfic. So, I've been brainstorming what teams the Holy Quintet would have, and was also thinking it'd be cool for the purposes of this AU to make them the Elite 4 plus Madoka as the Champion. Here's what I've been thinking of so far:

Yes, Madoka has and will use a Mega Evolved Mythical Pokemon in official Pokemon League matches lol.

I definitely want to draw these characters with at least some of the Pokemon I imagine would be on their teams. I also want to come up with teams for various members of the Wings of the Magius, as in this AU they would be the usual Pokemon evil team.

One other headcanon I have is that Homura also has a Magearna, but she never uses it in official Pokemon League matches.

Remnant! My character from my first playthrough of Pokemon Rejuvenation, Paragon Route! ...With some twists.

(I decided the lore wasn't insane enough.)

REMNANT

When the world updated versions, things came out glitchy and wrong, and as a result, the Interceptor of that world attempted to reset back to the beginning. Something went wrong in the process, and her soul was separated from the Interceptor's body. Her Runerigus kept it safe, however, until an eventual meeting with the new Interceptor allowed her to become a Yamask-and with enough power-become almost human again.

(That restoration may have required absorbing one human soul. You can probably guess which one that was.)

She's much physically weaker than she was before. Her new status has left her a bit unhinged, but not enough to stop caring. Calling herself Remnant, she now attempts to guide the new Interceptor and keep everyone she loves safe...even if they don't all remember her.

(There may be ways around that.)

TEAM

Remnant would eventually go back to reclaim her old pokemon, the six of which still remembered her.

For Luneres, there's pokemon that cross between the sea & space like starmie & lumineon... And araquanid's bubble reminds me of a space helmet. Sharpedo is a Shark... its shiny just because whyyy not yanno. Making it extra special bc its owner is straight up part shark in another world. Luneres would love Quagsire that's just a nice pokemon & his friend :] & Poliwrath bc Lu can throw crazy hands & it evolves through a king's rock, referencing his Sea Prince title.

Arnam's da Sea King baby (he does not have a Seaking) so he gets an Empoleon. Since this Sharpedo's owner is also a shark in another world, i'll let Arnam have a special mega shiny sharpedo I'm sure he found somewhere. Also he gets the mega form one bc he's Luneres' dad. Palossand is mainly just there for the sea horrors. Arnam has so many pokemon that would enjoy the sea!! "what about scrafty" good fucking luck scrafty.

Scrafty is there bc Arnam would have some Dark types & craftiness matches his piracy (craftiness is straight up a stat in Omen of Apsides). I HEAVILY considered Ludicolo bc Arnam actually does like dancing & partying & all that. But for lore reasons, Tentacruel is there (Arnam tries to kick it off the team but it wont leave. One day it will. And when that day comes it will be Ludicolo Sunday).

Holy Quintet Pokemon Teams

Ok so, Mami has a tsareena, a milotic, a leafeon, a ninetails, a levanny, a braixen, a fidough ->daschbun, a gardevoir and a liligant. She also had a sinistea that evolved into a polteageist right before Mami died when she got overconfident after one-shooting Nagisa's morpeko and she in turn killed her and her team with her dinamaxed alcremie. But don't worry, after the events of Rebellion they are both co-parenting the alcremie (flower sweet) and a tandemaus.

Madoka's sylveon is actually an eevee she saved and wasn't sure what she wanted to evolve it into until Mami came along, it was co-parented by them until Mami died, same with her ralts which -thanks to Homura's timeloops- she managed to evolve into a mega gardevoir unnaturaly quickly. By the end she also has a shaymin, a clefable, a jirachi, a diancie -> mega diancie, a wigglytuft, a floette, a decidueye, palkia, cresselia and a shiny celebi. Her karmic destiny essentially attracts powerful pokemon to her like bees to flowers until eventually she straight up catches both mew and arceus. The celebi is actually originally co-parented by her and Homura and it helps the latter in every timeline. Unfortunately this also means that Devil Homura is keeping it captive.

Sayaka, inspired by Mami, also took on a ralts (shiny), and an eevee and depending on the timeline she does manage to evolve them into a gallade (shiny) and a vaporeon. She also took on a sirfetch'd and a popplio hoping to evolve it into a primarina, but she tends to fail because she gets impatient from seething with envy at Homura's Mega Gyarados. Part of her wish was also to heal/evolve Kyosuke's krecketot into kricketune, which is in her care even since the accident (the kricketune survives and goes back to him, don't worry). In the rebellion timeline she coparents a keldeo with Kyoko.

Kyoko mostly uses her rapidash and flareon and always has her thievul at hand to nab grief seeds as soon as spawned, but if she wants to annoy Sayaka she takes out her incineroar. She also took Mami's swirlix in the divorce and now it's a slurpuff, but the one pokemon she feels more affection towards is her appletun.

Homura originally just had her sobble and her gothita. Then she became a magical girl, got herself an evee to match Madoka and a magikarp and then raided a water type gym owned by the yakuza to get a remorraid and cravanha. Her loops have allowed her to evolve them all into Mega Gyarados, Intelleon, Umbreon, Gothielle, Octillery and Sharpedo, and with her knowledge she's gained from them she's also deviced the perfect speedrun to max level them. She keeps Madoka's Decidueye at the end of the show and the shiny Celebi also keeps her company, but in Rebellion she imprisons it and by becoming the devil she gets Dialga, Giratina and Darkrai.

hilariously enough i was already typing this but you had the misfortune to ask me directly. fucking get ready. if loop had a pokemon team they'd for sure have mimikyu. i don't think i have to explain mimikyu. honestly i think they'd mostly have ghost types. i like the idea of chandelure and yamask. again pretty self explanatory. also hisuian zoroark, for its batshit dex entry. they could have a gengar if AND ONLY IF siffrin has a clefable. for non-ghost types minior's an obvious option. maybe emolga i think they could vibe like hell with emolga. perhaps sharpedo? i do think it would be funny if sif and loop shared a pokemon but i don't know which one . maybe the emolga

i can believe in siffrin having a slightly more mixed team. clefable as mentioned to match loop's gengar (also because funny moon). perhaps pelipper (Island). also aforementioned potential shared emolga. they should have a cat. perhaps delcatty. i think it'd be fun to have a vivillon since the regional pattern would effectively be entirely unique to siffrin's assuming they got it on the island

mira's like fairy/grass to me. i think she should have a mega altaria or mega audino either work. funny whimsicott? i think she'd vibe like hell with a ribombee. she'd also vibe with meganium i think. perhaps lilligant or lurantis? her party's vibes are fucking Immaculate.

isa should get a leavanny i don't make the rules. i think he tends towards rock/ground/steel but the leavanny is key. he could hang out with an excadrill i believe this with my heart. shiny nidoking for trans rights? i believe in lycanroc but i don't know if it'd be midday or dusk. probably midday. i think he'd have the world's chillest ursaring

odile gets mainly psychic/ice it's just her energy to me. i feel like she'd roll with an aurorus. i think she could have a froslass and they would have girlboss solidarity. perhaps gothitelle i think they'd vibe. i think it'd be a little insanely funny if she had a hatterene because if that thing wasn't evolved it would've mauled siffrin and loop to death so quickly. i also think it'd be funny to throw something like an obstagoon or a krookodile in there just to really keep them guessing

Bonnie My Love... they'd have swirlix for sure. i think they should have some manner of cute little bug like a spinarak or a joltik. it just feels right. hisuian growlithe could be a slay. i could believe in something like a torchic. i know its basic but i think theyd have fun with a riolu. the puncher. i think it'd be fun if they had a pancham and nille had a pangoro

SURPRISE NILLE. nille has the aforementioned pangoro. i think it'd be wonderful if the pans were also siblings. she'd have primarily fighting i think. she would get along with breloom i believe this in my heart. i think it'd be pretty fitting for her to have a bewear. perhaps hakamo-o (she would not have high enough levels for a kommo-o LMAO). i think she'd like zangoose because she'd think it's fucking awesome (she's right). i think it'd be nice if she had like a minccino friend to help out with chores. i literally feel so bad for nille she can have a beloved rodent who helps keep the house clean

I like to imagine pokemon teams for my blorbos, so here's cyrus' turn. (funny how pokemon also has a villain character named cyrus lol) anyway, rambling under the cut

gallade is psychic/fighting that uses its telepathy to sense its opponents' movements... sounds familiar, huh? also, I drew shiny mega gallade because of that tasty orange/blue colour scheme hehe

mimikyu reminds me of sidestep because... well, just look at its pokedex entries in usum:

Although it's a quiet, lonely Pokémon, if you try to look at what's under its rag, it will become agitated and resist violently.

Sad that its true identity may be exposed, Mimikyu will mercilessly seek revenge on any opponent that breaks its neck.

... yeah.

I also decided that argent would definitely have a skarmory and/or sharpedo. haven't thought about the others though

on another note, I don't think I've drawn a pokemon since I was 12 years old, I'd forgotten how fun it was

-i'll start off with Thorton for you, i admittedly took a bit to think of one for him but i my brain associates him with steel and electric types due to his technology theming so i could possibly see Lanturn being fitting?

now to pick out some of my favorite characters because i have SO many characters in this franchise im obsessed with

- i've already done Milotic Wallace of course haha

-Grimsley is very easy for me i've had the idea of him as some sort of Sharpedo merman in my head for AGES now definitely influenced by the mega Sharpedo that's paired with his synga suit

-Giacomo i would probably assign as a Carvanha personally as i headcanon him as Grimsley's nephew and i think it's fitting for him as well

-Burgh there's not a lot of water/bug pokémon for me to pick from with him so i'm inclined to make him a Bruxish for its color palette as i think it'd fit his outgoing personality and job as an artist

-Morty uses a Jellicent in one of his world tournament battles in B2W2 and i definitely think he could fit the deep sea jellyfish vibe

-Eusine i'm mostly going on vibes but i could possibly see him as a Gorebyss perhaps? i'm really not sure (the primary water type he's associated with isn't a fish pokemon unfortunately) but given his dialogue about the how beautiful and graceful Suicune is i could see him as a water type with some elegance with it.

-Silver i would say a Gyarados would be appropriate, both because he has one in the manga but also because of his connection to Lance and the shiny Gyarados in the Lake of Rage

Teen Titans Pokemon Teams

Here are my picks for the various pokemon the different members of the Teen Titans would choose. Cyborg, Nightwing, and Robin will not be on this list as I've already done their Pokemon teams on the Justice League and Batfam pokemon team posts.

Starfire

Female Pyroar- Being the princess of Tamaran, Kori having a female Pyroar made the most sense to me. Also fun fact about Tamaranian evolution (the Darwinian kind), they descended from a feline species.

Togekiss- Togekiss are a peace-loving pokemon. This is a reflection of Starfire's more cheerful personality.

Orange Flower Florges- It's dex entry from Scarlet reads "Its orange flowers fire off powerful beams, attacking as if they were a battery of artillery."

Tamaranean Jynx- A Fire/Psychic type, this pokemon's kisses are able to sap information from opponents' minds. They've adapted to the hot and climate of the planet. Tamaranean Jynx is has the abilities Flame Body and Forewarn. Starfire's Jynx specifically has the ability Flame Body. This pokemon is a reference to the famous kiss Starfire shared with Robin.

Tamaranean Gardevoir- It's loyalty to its trainer has made it become allowed for its evolution line to become fighting/fairy (Gallade however Psychic/Fairy). Now utilizing aura to fight, its signature fighting type move Aura Bolt can inflict burn onto targets. This is both a reference to Starfire's starbolts and loyalty to her friends. Also, it gives a funny connection to Barbara also having a Gardevoir.

Mega Charizard Y- Starfire has the ability to generate yellow sunlight with her body and move at incredibly fast speeds. Same goes for Mega Charizard Y

Due to there not being many fire type alien pokemon, I initially struggled with this one. But then it occurred to me I can just make Starfire have regional variants.

Raven

Shiny Delphox- Being a sorcerer, Raven having Delphox reflects Raven's ability to see into the future.

Golduck- The choice for this pokemon stems from the gem on Raven's forehead

Absol- Another pokemon that can see into the future but is revered as an enemy.

Galarian Slowking- A cursed meta pokemon, Raven's Galarian meta slowking is a more efficient sorcerer than other Galarian Slowking. Its not only capable of using toxic potions but also utilize dark magic itself. Its new ghost-type move Nevermore causes the opponent to be both confused and be pelted with pecks. The Galarian Meta Slowking is now a Ghost/Poison type.

Mismagius- You can guess why.

Mega Gardevoir- A reference to Raven's white uniform, Gardevoir gains immense power during mega evolution.

Raven's pokemon team was fairly simple to come up with.

Beast Boy

Rillaboom- Beast Boy is able to transform into all kinds of different pokemon because of his connection to the Red. But that wouldn't have happened if it weren't for him contracting a rare disease that could only be cured by a serum made from a green monkey. Of course, in the pokemon world, that green monkey would be caught and trained by Beast Boy.

Eevee- Beast Boy's Eevee is unique, being a meta pokemon that has a connection to the red. Its ability Eevolvee allows it to transform into any eeveelution during a battle. It also gains a new move called Red Beam which changes its type and damage type depending on whatever eeveelution it transforms into.

Beast Boy doesn't have a full pokemon team because in the pokemon world, he would be able to transform into a green version of every pokemon. If Tofrog from Lockstin&Gnoggin's Lockemon series was real, B.B. would definitely have one.

Aquaman (Jackson Hyde)

Sharpedo- Because Jackson Hyde's father is Black Manta, some of his pokemon are the pokemon his father has. Sharpedo being one of them.

Politoed- Politoed is meant to reflect the kinder nature of Jack compared to his father

Female Basculegion- Color coordination and his father had the male version.

Cetitan- Another land and sea pokemon.

Dragonite- A pokemon that grew up in the sea but developed in the air.

Samurott- A pokemon that could have become evil, but didn't

I don't know much about Jackson, I don't keep up with the Aquaman comics or Young Justice tv show. So suggestions are aplicable

The Flash (Wally West)

Cinderace- Because of Cinderace's design having elements that remind me of the Flash, Wally has one too. It also a Meta-Variant.

Blissey- Wally is the most caring out of all the flashes, being the one who often checks on the injured whether they be friend or foe.

Raichu- Wally is also one of the more aggressive and petty of the Flashes, hence why he has a Raichu.

Gallade- It is a proficient fighter just like Wally.

Archeops- A meta-variant, This Electric/Flying Archeops moves at incredible speed, having the Speed-Force ability. This is a reference to the dromaeosaur (raptor dinosaur) that Wally encountered when being dragged through time.

Zeraora- A meta-variant of the mythical pokemon, its connection to the speed force is immense having priority for every move it uses and an increase in speed every turn thanks to its new ability Speed Pulse. Its new attack Moment Fist is based on its speed stat. This is a reference to how Wally is the fastest Flash and perform the move Infinite Mass Punch.

Kid Flash (Wallace West II aka Ace West)

Grafaiai- During Ace's introduction in the New 52, he is seen spray-painting a wall before Barry arrests him (Goddammit Barry, you're a forensic scientist for the police, not an actual officer!)

Pawmot- Imbued with the speed force, Meta Pawmot has an ability called Momentum Sap where any physical contact with this pokemon can lower the enemy's speed and increase Pawmot's. This is a reference to one of Ace's abilities as a speedster.

Rotom- Imbued with the speed force, Meta Rotom has the unique ability to form constructs out of electricity using its new ability: Electromagnia. Electromagnia allows for Meta Rotom to transform into its different forms while in battle while levitating off the ground. This is a reference to speedster's relationship with electromagnetism and how Ace can form speed force constructs to create his suit.

Ace doesn't have a full team as he is still just a kid.

Scorbunny- Being the grandson of Barry Allen, Impulse having a Meta-Scorbunny makes sense. It has the Speed-Force ability.

Pikachu- Again, as the grandson of Barry Allen, he would have pokemon similar to Barry

Plusle- As the son of Dawn West, Bart has a Plusle to reflect the fact he is the son of a tornado twin (yes, Inertia has Minun)

Like with Ace, Bart doesn't have a full team.

Hisuian Decidueye- Fits his color scheme, he's an archer, and Oliver has one.

Houndstone- Roy was undead as a black lantern for a period of time.

Tinkaton- Roy loves tinkering and making gadgets

Rotom- Similar reasoning with Tinkaton with the added fact that Roy can hack into tech.

Clawitzer- Again, because of tinkering and gadgetry, but with the added fact that he can use weapons efficiently.

Magmortar- Color scheme, gadgetry, and type balancing.

Arsenal's team mainly consists of pokemon that would aid him with technology.

Tempest (Garth)

Grapploct- This is a reference to topo.

Atlantean Reuniclus- Garth can utilize magic to manipulate water and so Atlantean Reuniclus is a representation of that ability.

Primarina- Similar reason as Atlantean Reuniclus

Wishiwashi- A nod to how one of his abilities is marine telepathy

Poliwrath- Noted for being incredibly strong, and Tempest is very strong

Lugia- Being that he is a magic user of the sea, I felt him having a water-adjacent pokemon would be a good idea.

Tempest was somewhat difficult to come up with considering not many pokemon fit his power set.

Ravager

Farigarif- Matches her color scheme to a degree and reflects her powers partly.

Medicham- This pokemon reflect's roses ability to predict enemy attacks

Samurott- Rose has skilled swordsmanship

Bisharp- Because her father would definitely own a Kingambit, this pokemon made the most sense to me. Rose's Bisharp would carry an eviolite.

Palafin- Being a clone of superman, Conner would also have certain pokemon that reflect his heritage. One of those being Palafin.

Boltund- Similar reasoning as before but with the added note of how in the TV show Titans, he was introduced with Krypto.

Alakazam- Being part Lex Luthor and Sammy Stryker, this is a double-nod to his heritage and tactile telekinesis.

Silvally- I can definitely see Conner escaping with one of the Silvally Lex Luthor made to stop Superman.

Superboy's team is meant to reflect his genetic heritage.
