Winslow Homer in 1880 - Born: February 24, 1836 – Died: September 29, 1910

An American landscape painter and illustrator, best known for his marine subjects. He is considered one of the foremost painters in 19th-century America and a preeminent figure in American art.

Largely self-taught, Homer began his career working as a commercial illustrator. He subsequently took up oil painting and produced major studio works characterized by the weight and density he exploited from the medium. He also worked extensively in watercolor, creating a fluid and prolific oeuvre, primarily chronicling his working vacations.

Bertone Jet 2+2 brochure, 2013. Designed and built at Bertone based on the Aston Martin Rapide, the Jet 2+2 was a one-off commissioned by Aston Martin collector Barry Weir. It was presented at the Geneva Motor Show to celebrate both the 60th anniversary of Bertone's collaboration with AM and also the British brand's centenary. The brochure was supposed to showcase the skill of “Bertone Officina” a then new department organised as a high fashion atelier, created for the production of custom-built models in the historical tradition of Bertone.

ONE THOUSAND YEARS JAIL FOR TCW WRITERS for getting that absolutely GOLDEN layup in AotC and then NOT doing jack fuck with Dooku. They looked right at Christopher Lee's deliberately nuanced portrayal in that movie (within the script's and direction's limitations which were indeed very limiting. Have I ever mentioned that George wasn't too good at writing Dooku either?) and did NOTHING. They made him a Saturday evening cartoon guy in the Saturday evening cartoon and I am inconsolable

I cannot get over how they squandered his potential!! And Asajj's by extension, too. And why do I have to cling to CW 03 for any screentime of them both even just existing in the same room? Like genuinely do we ever see them physically next to each other? They're supposed to be master and apprentice bro something went terribly wrong here!!

Also to bend this back to the fandom and to beat a dead bloated decomposing horse: Obi-Wan. Novels have been written about his fanon alter-ego so I'll just say that most people actually write him just fine until any type of relationship emerges! my thoughts on splatoon 3 salmon run after playing enough to get to profreshional: im a little frustrated by it ngl -__- im a huge salmon run head and splat2 salmon run was like, my brain turn-off autopilot run around complete tasks game, but not that it was super easy, that was why it was fun for me it was engaging but i had done it so much that i had strong muscle memory for it n knew all the strats n stuff, i thought the difficulty curving was perfect and only time i really had trouble was when the weapon rotation was questionable n my teammates couldnt keep up, or if we missed a couple enemies at the beginning n quicky got overwhelmed.

in contrast, splatoon 3 feels harder in all moments but in a more frustrating way where i am dying much more often despite my movement being good, it feels like the enemies do more damage, specifically with rain, tentamissles, the car, and even the base chum and small frys, which adds up a lot. in splat2 you could avoid death with careful avoidance of hits and moderating your chip damage, it rewarded good movement and i enjoyed it a lot as it trained me to be more aware of my surroundings and helped me a ton as a backliner in ranked. but in splat3 salmon run i die to things that i feel wouldnt have killed me in 2

also glowflies in particular has gotten MUCH harder, splat2 was pretty unfair but still possible to complete and your main risk was just if you all got splatted at the same time. but splat3 glowflies feels like 2 teammates are ALWAYS dead, the glowflies lock on much faster and change quicker and will lock onto you even if you were JUST revived, meaning you get swarmed while your in your invincibility frames. i think ive only passed a glowflies level once so far

more nitpicky stuff is that i dont think the specials help that much in clearing enemies or saving ur team, unlike splat2, this is just a hunch from my gameplay. and also i dont like two minor changes: the player symbols dont match up with the order of your lobby row, which was always consistent in splat2 and let me know which of my friends was which weapon when we played in lobbies together. and also falling in water crosses our your icon instantly just like getting splatted by salmonids, which is troublesome bc in splat2 it waits till your drowning animation is finished to cross you out and technically displays you as alive in that time, so its a strat to save you a few seconds on the timer and possibly save the game. its also a strat to jump in water instead of getting killed by salmons bc your respawn is faster from water death, but i havent noticed if that was changed in 3.

praise i DO have for splat3 (that my friend allister pointed out): the egg-throwing mechanic and the notification when only one teammate is alive and the big king salmon have really upped teamwork and team awareness in this game, splat2 felt like you were all doing your own thing but splat3 incentivizes teamwork to take out certain bosses together and get as many eggs to the basket as possible, its a tangible difference and not detrimental to my own gameplay styles at all :)
