"...So yeah, I really recommend you read this title because it's very engaging right from th.... ah...!" The excited rambling he was doing to Izuru about a new book he had been recently reading, was replaced by the soft gasp of surprise that left his lips, when he cups Shuichi's jaw.

"O...Oh....ahh.....I-Izuru..senpai...?" He was gazing right into his eyes.... making his face heat up and his heart start thumping rapidly in his chest. Those red eyes that Shuichi found just as pretty, locked onto his own. Making whatever he probably would have wanted to say, unable to leave his lips. Though... Shuichi didn't mind this at all, of course... and in fact, instictivtly found himself leaning more into his hand, gaze never wavering from Izuru's.

"I...If you look at me like this, I-I...." Was definitely going to make his heart explode. Well, Izuru was always able to do that to this boy. Not that he happily minds that all, of course...

Soooo! I was going through my piles of drawing in my room since I’m switching with my sisters room and basically just seeing what I had to throw out, when I found a bunch of doodles from a project I completely forgot about. Said project I never shared here but I know at least ONE of you knows about and probably knows I was behind it sense they also happen to be the first person who ever followed me here. (I’m not gonna @ them sense I’m not sure if they’re okay with it, but if you know I’m talking about you and are fine with me mentioning you pls dm me and I’ll include you here!)

Anywho! That project was an ask blog! More specifically an ask blog for an au I made when I was in the middle of my mha fixation ✨Vigilante Spinner✨ I did delete the blog and most of the art I made for it for reasons I won’t start yapping about here.

But I was thinking about bringing that au back! Not as a new blog but I could start post about it here sense I had a LOT of plans, ideas and stories that I never got to share. For example the whole plot about what the hell was going on with their family (specifically their mom). And I REALLY wanna continue this au cuz it was genuinely so fun to make!

And I did some digging and found more art that I thankfully never deleted! So if any of this rings a bell! Hello you have found me again!

I’m really sad I chose to delete almost everything I made on that blog, sense every interaction was so sweet and the people who were following the story were genuinely so kind and amazing

Just as promised, Shuichi had come to visit Amai's shop, Sweet Dream Confections. After how delicious that tiramisu cup was from their fist visit, Shuichi was excited to see what else he could try! And it looked like Amai just baked some freshly made cookies, along with that cup of tea on the house, too.

"Thank you again for the tea, Amai-kun! And wow, these cookies look so good... is it okay if I try one, already?" Even just the smell of the cookies alone, told him he definitely going to enjoy them. And as he picks up a cookie and takes a bite, he was proven right: it was nice and soft, and incredibly tasty... he loves it.

He quickly finishes the rest of that cookie, before telling them with a bright smile: "And is good, just like I knew it would be!" Then as he enjoys a second cookie, he takes slow sips of his tea with it, humming at how tasty that was, too.

"This tea is wonderful as well... I love this flavor! Truly a perfect combo of tea and cookies this is!"

your post about fanon vs canon pregame v3 characters has me curious, what are your thoughts on pregame shuichi and how he's perceived by the fandom? u mentioned u wanted to talk about him but didn't and now i rlly wanna know what u think hehe

Spoilers for V3 (again (just in case for anyone else lol))

I personally dislike how aggressive they make his love of Danganronpa in fanon. And from one pov I can kinda see it with him being like “I’ll plot the most gruesome murders” or something like that in the audition tape. But honestly he just kinda seems like… a guy? He’s a guy who really likes this show (that he’s somewhat grown up in his teens with probably if he’s been watching for years) and would do anything to be in it.

As I said in the other post, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s exaggerating so that they pick him (although his video seems more genuine in how big a fan he is so I feel like that’s just him in geek mode instead of exaggeration). He’s also just not as creepily obsessed as people portray. He’s not frothing at the mouth at the mention of it or even at the fact he’s auditioning. He’s not acting (for lack of a better word) lewd about it (I’ve seen people characterize that along with the obsession).

He’s just… a teenager who really likes this show. He’s watched it for years and has a chance to be on it! Sure, people die, but if it’s still on air it can’t be that bad!

Also in the prologue he acts very similar to the Shuichi we know (nervous, anxious, but still level headed enough to help lead Kaede away from an exisal). We even see that nervousness in the audition where he’s like “I wanna be a detective but it’s ok if I’m not I just really wanna be on this show” (paraphrase).

That’s not to say his fanon pregame self can’t be written well! I’ve read a fic where they tackled the idea of Shuichi after the game having to grapple with who he was, who he is now, and what he’s becoming going back into what he assumed were old danganronpa obsessed habits (it’s a rlly good fic with an unreliable narrator to boot!), I just think it’s overdone considering what we actually have to work with in game.

TL;DR While he definitely rlly liked danganronpa and was probably hyperfixating HARD (lol), it’s nowhere near as bad as fanon makes it out to be (imo).

(I felt like putting this here because it’s funny to me (and also shows that he isn’t a weird guy who wants to kill whoever he sees) LOL)

Me to these people: TAKE. TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF THE LIZARD

I did chuckle at this because a) this is funny and b) my mind went to how this chapter he just grabs Izuku and the whole time Izuku is like "light work, no reaction".

Okay, though, when I think about it... I realized how much whenever I see someone posts about Spinner, Tomura gets mentioned and I'll be honest... it's hard to tell if that person genuinely likes Spinner or acknowledges him because of Tomura.

Don't get me wrong, I do adore the relationship between those two. And that's a grievance I have with any character I like.

But before they even formed some common ground, I quickly took to Spinner because he was a lizard man who has a big ass sword compiled of other swords and knives. It was like "I want to study this guy" and the more something was revealed about him the more he became my favorite.

And it wasn't until I realized... he's like the Midoriya of the LOV. Those two have some similarities that I don't think some people actually saw.
