“Hanazakari no Kimitachi e” The Manga For Gets Anime
The production studio Aniplex unveiled a teaser image (shown above) on the official website for the anime adaptation of Hisaya Nakajo's manga series Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom).
Challenge: Make a poll with five of your all time favorite characters, and then tag five people to do the same. See which character is everyone's favorite.
Thank you for the tags from @infinitelyprecious @italianpersonwithashippersheart @visualtaehyun you can find their post here, here and here respectively. It says all time favorites and well we are being transported all over I guess lmao. So these are my blorbos my most precious, the reflection of my heart if you will lmao. Just know that I will answer if you are curious about the inclusion of the last one but it WILL be long.
I'm interested in so many of your blorbos but I'm trying to think of people I haven't seen tagged yet and @patrice-bergerons @kattyangel @cryingatships @madammedarkside @sewichii you guys are up if you want to be! Anyone else who wants to do this consider yourself tagged and tag me in your post!
Also presenting the blorbos for a vibe check if you don't know them (this is not part of the meme but a nice thing that Bella ie visualtaehyun started on her post)
What's your favorite character trope in stories? Do you see yourself writing that kind of character in one of your fanfics?
Are gingers just naturally more attractive?
1. My favorite character trope is the "repressed character." It's always exciting to see when their feelings or true nature comes out after chapter upon chapter of them hiding it. Like Kyo for example. He even denied his own feelings and then repressed them... lots of my favorite characters are like this.
2. I do tend to, even more recently with my writing for Killua, since he is mostly repressed because he didn't have a purpose until he found Alluka. He repressed his feelings and will probably continue to while traveling with her.
3. Seeing as I married a ginger, spawned 2 of them, yes. Someone once told me "there are two types of gingers, ugly and beautiful." To me, they all are. Most of my favorite characters are ginger. Kyo Sohma, Ron Weasley, Hikaru Hitachiin, Nakatsu Shuichi, Giselle, Anne Shirley, Anastasia, Chuckie Finster... The list goes on.
I went through my AO3 account. I have posted a grand total of 2 fics with a canon ship. (I am discounting one that was less than 300 words and another where the ship is purely background and is also very short. I am also discounting the Merlin!AU as I co-wrote that, but that does contain Arthur/Gwen).
My list also contains 5 trios (~21%). I have not included all of my gen fic as this is for ships only.
This is also only the stuff I've posted on AO3, so you're not seeing all the Radek/Rodney stuff I wrote on LJ, etc.
Hi!!! I hope your doing well!!! You answered a question about tropes and I wanted to know what your favorite trope is?
Thank you! I hope you’re doing well as well.
I have to say that my favourite trope is probably “There was only one bed”. I love bed-sharing because when the characters are lying awake at night, side by side, they tend to talk about important things and get to know one another better. I’m a huge sucker for conversations and sharing and vulnerability.
I also enjoy stories where one character cross-dresses, and the love interest, despite having previously identified as straight, still falls in love with them. I like this trope because it’s about falling for who someone is as a person. I really like when it’s not about physical attraction but about who a person really is on the inside. I like when characters are like, “I mean, I didn’t think I liked girls/guys, but this person is really special. I want to be with them, even if it won’t be easy.” Accepting and loving someone for who they are is really important to me, so I like stories that highlight those features. Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and Hana Kimi are two examples I like.
I also really like rivals to lovers. In my previous fandom, Detective Conan/Magic Kaito, my favourite pairings involved a vigilante thief and the detectives matching wits with him. I love that dynamic. Squabbling and bantering and snide remarks and unexpected sweet gestures are just fun. I like when they have to work together and gradually develop a new understanding and appreciation of each other.
