What was your inspiration for Jenuri [Jenna x shuri]

Hi! Thanks for your interest in my two ocs! They are part of a larger story that I don't think I'll ever get the chance of drawing or writing (I already have the story outlined, but I have no energy and no time). In this universe in which animal lives in a sort of basic civilization, there are clans. Hyenas and Wild dogs are two of the largest carnivore groups who remained outside the village in which the protagonist lives. The two groups hate each other for things that happened in the past but Jenna and Shuri instantly fell in love when they first saw each other during a clan fight. In short, they started to meet each other in secret and realize that the stereotypes built on each group were stupid. They'll have a bigger role later in the story but it will be spoilering.

Shuri is Duncan's sister, one of the main characters (she's the hyena on the right in my profile wallpaper) and I have never properly drawn Jenna here except for a quick sketch.
