Pink Grapefruit, Ginger, and Lemongrass Sake Cocktails
2 Tbsp. packed chopped lemongrass (tips reserved for optional garnish)
1 Tbsp. packed chopped ginger root
1 Tbsp. organic, blonde cane sugar
2 Tbsp. strained meyer lemon juice (or 1 Tbsp. regular lemon juice plus 1 additional Tbsp. grapefruit juice) (1 ounce)
6 Tbsp. strained pink grapefruit juice
1 cup dry sake (8 ounces)
ice
In a measuring pitcher or jar, vigorously muddle together the lemongrass, ginger, and sugar until the mixture is broken down fairly well, about 30 seconds. Add the lemon juice, muddle a bit longer, then stir in the grapefruit juice and sake. (Optionally let the mixture steep for 5 minutes or up to several hours in the refrigerator for a stronger flavor.) Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve and into a jar or cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice, pressing on the solids to extract all the good stuff. Stir or shake the mixture for 10 seconds to chill, then strain into two wine glasses filled partway with ice. Garnish with a lemongrass tip, if you like, and serve.

Mary Pickford Mocktail
1 serving
The Mary Pickford cocktail is made of white rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, and maraschino liquor. It is sweet and a little tart.  It was made to honor Mary Pickford who was America’s sweetheart of the silent movies and is a prohibition-era drink.  She was married to Douglas Fairbanks at the time and she went on to be a co-founder of United Artists, a film studio.
This mocktail uses rum extract and cherry simple syrup to imitate the tastes of the original.
Ingredients
¼ teaspoon of rum extract (contains a small amount of alcohol unless you purchase alcohol-free extract available at some grocery stores)
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
1 teaspoon grenadine
½ teaspoon cherry simple syrup
Garnish: a couple of maraschino cherries
Directions:
Add the rum extract, pineapple juice, grenadine, and cherry simple syrup to a shaker with several ice cubes.  Shake well and then strain it into a glass.  Enjoy!
Garnish if you choose with a couple of maraschino cherries.
Serve to anyone not drinking alcoholic drinks like kids, pregnant women, or designated drivers. This is a great drink to serve at wedding showers, birthday parties or any kind of gathering.
Note:
Cherry simple syrup is easy to make.
Ingredients:
8 ounces of frozen, pitted cherries
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup of water
½ teaspoon of lemon juice
Put the ingredients into a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over low heat until the sugar is dissolved.  Smash the cherries as they cook.  Continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes.  When the mixture has cooled off, strain the liquid with a sieve to remove remnants of the cherries.  Add to various drinks or desserts and store in the refrigerator for up to a week

Types of honey shakers and how to use them
Types of honey shakers and how to use them In the art of beekeeping, one very important tool that every beekeeper must have is a honey shaker. The honey shakers help in separating the honey from the comb without destroying the honeycomb and have minimal honey wastage.Get more news about Honey Shakers, you can vist our website!
Our Zorue has also included a number of devices in the manufacturer of high quality beekeeping accessories including honey shakers designed to make the whole extraction more fun and less stressful. Our honey shakers comes in different sizes and shapes ideal for both novice and veteran beekeepers.
A manual honey shaker is one type of honey shakers provided by Zorue. This is a manual shearing device comprising of a cylinder with perforated walls for retaining the comb and allowing the honey to flow drainage out. This particular shaker is used by inserting the frame holding the honeycomb in its full or cut form, in a cylinder, and then tightening a lid over it. The frame containing the comb is placed in a thick transparent tub-silver timbered above and the handle is twisted slowly. The backward and downward movement causes the honey to detach from the comb and fall in to a storage jar placed immediately under the frame.
Alternative to these manual honey extractors through the heat provided by boiling water, are the electric honey shakers, a type of honey extractor fitted with an electric motor. Zorue’s electric honey shakers are equipped with speed controls that allow users to enable the shaker at various speeds depending on the thickness of their honey. The sintered honey jar is also fitted with a clear container so that you can follow the honey collection without requiring the removal of equipment.
If you are looking for a bit more variety, in addition to electrical honey extractors, Zorue also sells more traditional mesh sieve honey shakers. Mesh Diaphragm honey shakers are made of a wire mesh straw basket and a strong body frame. After that, he places the frame with the honey comb into the basket and turns a handle to spin the basket. All of the smallest out-grained pieces of wax are confined in the mesh while the rest of the large particles do not pass through.
No matter what kinds of honey shakers you have there are important techniques for you to observe in order to achieve maximum effect. Use only the frames which you know have been properly put together for extraction and when necessary, heat them up a little so that the honey can flow freely out of the frames. At the end of every use, make sure that you wash the honey shakers so that proper health standards are adhered to and also flavors do not mix.

A delightful combination of sweet blackberries and aromatic vanilla, this cocktail float is a refreshing treat with a touch of elegance.
Ingredients: 1 cup blackberries. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup water. 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped. 2 oz vanilla vodka. 1 oz blackberry liqueur. 4 oz club soda. Vanilla ice cream for serving. Fresh blackberries for garnish.
