toge gets home one night from a particularly rough mission, blood decorating his face- its way too much for your the sake of your comfort

most of it comes from his mouth, a sign that he’s reached his limit in terms of his cursed ability

his uniform sleeve is stained crimson as a result of constantly wiping his chin to catch whatever threatened to spill out of his mouth

upon seeing him arrive on campus, you frown and run up to him

you’ve always hated seeing him in such a state- unfortunately, a common sight due to the nature of his ability and your job,, but it didn’t stop the ache in your chest every time he arrived looking so beaten up

you greet him with a careful hug, being mindful of any possible hidden injuries on his body

the force he puts in when he reciprocates in the hug tells you that you can hold him a little tighter

“hi,” you mumble into his neck, “how was your mission?”

he huffs in response and you let out a soft giggle, “figured”

parting from the hug, you gently grab his hand and start dragging him away, “let’s get you to shoko, she should still be on campus”

toge remains firmly planted in place. he’s pouting

he shakes his head stubbornly and squeezes your hand to stop you from going to shoko

you dead pan at him

you already know what he’s requesting,,, he wants you to treat his wounds

on missions where his injuries aren’t too serious, toge likes to have you tend to his wounds in his dorm room. he’ll occasionally claim that it's ‘too late to bother shoko’ but you know he just likes it when you dote on him

“seriously?” you ask him, with a slight hint of amusement in your tone. you know how stubborn your boyfriend can get

he nods before coughing, a little blood bubbling up from the back of his throat, reminding you of the sorry state he’s currently in

“alright,,, let’s get you cleaned up.” you sigh and make your way over to where his dorm room resided

once you arrive, you sit him on the bed and disappear into his bathroom to get a cloth soaked in warm water

“okay, let's see,” you sit beside him, tilting his chin to face you so you can observe the damage. you get to work and gently dab at his chin. it soothes your worries to see the crimson on his face transfer to the towel

pushing his bangs back, you wipe off any excess grime that had gotten on his face with the clean side of the washcloth. luckily there had been no external injuries, just his throat from ability overuse. 

you lean in to kiss his forehead before fixing his bangs back in place but his lips go to chase after yours when you separate from him

“hey- !” you pull back quickly to avoid his kiss,, a rare occasion for the both of you, “don’t try kissing me with the same mouth that was coughing up all this blood,” you hold up the dirty rag as evidence for your refusal

he only pouts as you let out an airy laugh. you push the towel into his hands and stand up from his bed, “rinse that out in the sink and brush your teeth, okay? I’m gonna make tea for you real quick and bring it back here” you say softly, trying to make sure he doesn’t overexert himself

you gently slide his door shut and make the short trek over to the common room where you can start brewing a cup of tea for your boyfriend’s throat

fifteen minutes pass and you’re about done preparing the drink when you hear a shuffle come from the entrance of the common room. 

sighhh. its toge,,,,

“love,” you huff with slight exasperation, “i thought i told you i’d bring it to you,, you need to rest”

he can only give you a guilty smile before heading straight for your arms. he kisses softly at your neck

‘i missed you’ his actions imply

his kisses travel up to your mouth, finally relishing in his first real kiss of the night. you can tell from the way his hands find purchase in your hair and from the slightest pressure of desperation that he’s been waiting too long for this 

you give in 

after all, who wouldn’t?

a few minutes pass when you part from the kiss, panting slightly while trying to ground yourself. the two of you are still in the common room,,, and though you don’t expect to run into anyone this late, you would prefer to take actions against anyone walking in on you

“drink your tea, toge” you attempt to pull away from his embrace to bring his tea to him but of course, he doesn’t let you budge.

the common room kitchen is dim, but his eyes shine brightly when he looks at you. he feels dramatic when he thinks his world could stop if you left his arms now, but it felt too real.

“please” he manages to let out a hoarse whisper. you both know he shouldn’t be talking.

but you can see the plead in his eyes, begging for one more kiss- though it wouldn’t be just one more. you weigh your options and decide it would be okay to give in,, he deserved it didn’t he?

leaning in, you surrender yourself and resume from where you oh-so-rudely paused

needless to say the night ended with you reheating his now room temperature tea in the microwave a considerable amount of time after you had made it

I had this little funny headcanon,,why not make him stay lobotomised for a while- and everytime he heals Victor just yknow, lobotomises him again! This has just become a cycle for him.

okay listen i know i can leave my house in a skirt or crop top or whatever and a lot more guys are def starting to feel comfortable doing so. but i also enjoy not worrying about getting jumped or looked at funny! it's a lot safer than it used to be to do so, even in my small ass conservative town i'll sometimes put on some dangly earrings or a bit of rodrick–liner SJKDG but that doesn't mean it's normalized yet or whatever. point being that i wish it was because men's outfits would be sm more exciting at these fashion events if they had a wider range of options too!

you rub your face in exasperation, contemplating everything as you do your best to ignore the multitude of battered, broken failures surrounding you.

see, whenever there's a big world-renowned celebration, ajax would go through the mountains and seas to give presents to his family; that including you.

maybe you two aren't family, but childe sure does treat you like one.

but that's the thing! whenever he'd give you presents, you'd start feeling guilty because you don't have much to give him in return. I don't think you can even guess how much he has in his wallet.

and that makes you all the more determined to give him what he deserves.

after being with him for so long, you've gained a competitive nature like he does. if you don't have that much, then you'll just give him something with what you currently have!

even though he isn't currently present, you accept the challenge.

and that led you to now.

the cause of his happiness isn't because of the celebration, no, it's actually because he has the chance to spill his affection all over you and his family with as many gifts as possible.

after happily speedwalking through what he knows to be the shortcut to your home, he knocks.

"y/n! it's me!"

it was silent for a moment, but you finally answer.

"ah, um— give me a moment, ajax!"

he raises an eyebrow.

you groan, but he can hear the urge to laugh in it. "just give me a minute!"

"pleaaasee? it's cold out!" he pouts playfully, despite you not being able to see him.

you huff, laughing a little. "fine!" the door swings open, making childe stumble a little since he was still trying to push the door.

"at least give me a warning!"

"you begged to come in." you grin.

he rolls his eyes. "so what were you hiding here, hm?"

your hands flinch a little, which doesn't go unnoticed by him. you sigh, knowing that you can't lie. "I was... making something."

you could still be vague, though.

"what's that something?" he grins.

oh, you forgot that he's a curious one, didn't you?

after seconds of silence, you decided to give in to his interrogation.

"cake." you mutter.

he blinks. "hm?"

"cake." you say louder, looking away. "made a cake. for new years."

it was silent again.

you hear a stifled laugh.

"what—" you smile uncontrollably. "don't laugh!" you hit him relentlessly yet weakly, hearing his laugh grow louder and louder.

he continues to laugh, shielding himself from your wrath. "okay! okay! I'm sorry!"

"why are you even laughing?" you manage a pout. "it's just a cake."

"I never thought I'd see the day that you'd bake." he stops laughing now, wiping a nonexistent tear in his eye. "you've really grown."

"oh, shut up!" you smack him, and he starts laughing again.

"soo, where's the cake?" he grins, soon noticing a sweet smell.

"kitchen, obviously." you roll your eyes.

before you said anything else, he rushes to the kitchen. "heyy! this is my house you're running around in!"

he laughs again in response, entering the kitchen. he freezes, staring at the kitchen counter.

you sigh, rubbing the back of your neck. "look, the cake's, ah..." you trail off. "broken..?"

he bursts out laughing.

"broken— yeah, we can call it that." he snickers.

"shut up." you smile, smacking his back. "at least I tried, idiot."

he smiles. "yeah." he looks over your shoulder, staring at the multiple bags by the door. "my gifts are all store-bought."

then, he quickly defends himself. "but I bought them with my heart!"

"your heart?" it's your time to laugh this time. "yeah, the gifts are heartfelt! custom-made!" he laughs too, smiling ear-to-ear.

you roll your eyes, grinning widely. "happy new year, ajax."

"mhm." he smiles. "happy new year, y/n."

And yes nonny, you read correctly. However, she now stands at roughly 7.4k words. How long the entirety of it will be is still up in the air, since I'm trying to edit (yikes) as I write, smoothing out (probably unnoticeable as well) minor plotholes, AND rewriting/building onto some scenes from GAWG to insert them into ITYT, so Richie's story makes sense and doesn't feel so empty. Sighhh, It's a process. But I'm happily chugging along with it. So no sadly it is not done quite yet. I WANTED to finish and post it by New Year's Eve, but I do not think that's happening lol. It'd be a miracle tbh. However, I think I could get it done by the 2nd.

I love english honestly, Portugal and England have the longest friendship in history after all so it's pretty much meant to be. I've made so many friends! i'm able to express myself much easier in english!! do better research for projects!!!

Bestie, this is going to be a long paragraph, so I'm so, so sorry but crybaby has been one of my recent hyper fixations and I just need to write an essay about it.

Okay, so, I just want to say that prequel crybaby lives free rent in my head, and my heart just bursts into pieces whenever I think of them. I imagine their love to be the kind of thing you see in movies—the rare kind of love you could only see in a life time. It was just so pure with utmost love and adoration towards each other. Its crazy to think of they found their person, their partner in crime, at such a young age. They were so supportive and passionate towards each other; one would constantly push each other to do their best because of how well they understood each other.

I could just imagine how freeing their love felt? Like the rush always portrayed in coming of age movies where the main character runs down the empty street at twilight, thinking that they had the power to conquer the world. They were so young and starry-eyed, and they had their whole lives ahead of them. They were so free to dream, yet they were always included in each other's plans.

Eren would achieve his dreams of being a Rockstar one day. They'd tour the world together and do whatever crazy thing is on their bucket list. But for now, eren would stick to creating melodies and lyrics in hopes that he could preserve what they felt and where they were at the time, so they could come back and reminisce on it when their older.

They were just so *sighhh*. These kids deserve the world man. A part of me still roots for them, that they'd get the happy ending they always wanted. Even if they don't end up together, I think a part of them will always love each other. Just a small piece of them tucked away in the deepest corner of their heart. That bittersweet feeling of nostalgia that would creep on them in the late-hours of midnight or whenever they'd hear their old favorite song.

I love to associate songs (most specifically taylor swift songs bc I feel like she has a song written for every ship) with stories, and songs that I think capture this young love would be "Long Live", "Sparks Fly", "Everything has Changed", "Treacherous", and "Red". My brain immediately thinks on these two and I feel like my heart has been trampled over by a truck.

Anyways, what I mean to say is that you're writing and characterization is absolutely amazing. Crybaby has me by the neck and I still haven't recovered. Hope you have a nice day/night/afternoon! 💛✨

Hiii. I really wanted an Even clip on Isak’s birthday or maybe the day before if he’s trying to plan something. But the longer I thought about it, the more I wanted his clip to just focus on him. 

But unlike everyone, I don’t expect an ‘explanation’ for his past or anything. Maybe a recap of how he made up with the boys with be nice. But I don’t expect ‘explanations’ for his SA. That’s so unfair. Why is everyone putting so much pressure on this boy? Why does everyone just want him to tell his story so bad with zero context? I get that representation is important and that it would mean a lot to a lot of people, but it’s not fair to him. What if he doesn’t want to talk about it? Most people don’t want to talk about it? Why does he even have to explain anything? Whether it’s to us or to the other characters. Why do people say that “we deserve an explanation”? We don’t “deserve” anything. He doesn’t owe us or anyone anything. My baby boy ughh. if you only knew how much he means to me i’m so emo again sighhh kjfdkjkfjd

I just want to know that he’s okay, that he’s happy, that he’s stable, that he loves his life, that he loves life, and that he feels loved. That’s all I want. Things might get shitty sometimes but it’s okay because he has a support system and he is strong enough to get through anything. That’s all I want.

I went on a tangent again lol sorry. A Jonas clip on Isak’s birthday would be nice too. But now that I think about it it might be someone completely unrelated and we might be getting our hopes up and setting ourselves up for disappointment which is pretty much what happened all season.

This is the last week and I plan on welcoming every clip with open arms. You won’t hear me complain, not even once. What’s the point? I got to watch this show FOR FREE when it’s not even meant for me. I don’t get to complain. I don’t deserve anything. I’ll just enjoy the ride. This show did so much for me. It changed my life. I’m rambling now but it did. It might not have been perfect but to me it was. It made me more patient and more empathetic and kinder and I’m forever grateful.
