Instead, this utilizes a Reshade/Gshade add-on to remove the lot outlines and being able to do so whenever you want with just a shortcut. Requires Reshade/Gshade and the Shader Toggler add-on. Works on both DX9 and DX11.

Finally did some art for my good omens au, (yes i know im collecting aus like aziraphale collects books but oh well).

They are an angel and a demon on doods shoulders :)

I already have link finshed and am planing on drawing Taylor, Dood and Hermie as well.

Also just design notes/general thoughts:

Will saying Normal would dress vintage changed me so here he is in something vintage inspired, thought with the ever present sneakers i draw him in. I feel like he has a pupper shop or something, not quite sure, he is a mascot and local sport teams enthusiast. I should have incorporated more purple in his design to be honest, he does have some in his eyes. I feel like he uses 70s or 80s slang, generally just a word mishmash of generations. And in all his ethearnal years he has still not learnt to cartwheel.

Scary's design is mostly punk/metal/goth inspired, for once i opted for more red than purple, and brown in her hair. I decided to give her octopus eyes as a nod to her doodler connection. They are both older here (i think about mid 20s) so she gets to be even cooler than usual (she is my dress up doll for outfits i wanna wear but would be texture and comfort hell for me).

They are just besties here (sorry to my whatever their ship name is shippers im not a fan of the ship at all), and link taylor, dood and hermie will hopefully be coming shortly. As for plot stuff its good omens inspired with them trying to stop the apocalypse (idk who warlock is here, since dood is adam), its mostly show inspired since i have not yet finshed the book, and idk if plot is even really my concern i just like designing looks for diffrent situations.

Apparently I can meet my goal of roughly 400,000 words in 6 months if I just somehow write at least 2,200 words a day ghbjh... Almost 2,500 today... huzzah...

#Definitely not going to be able to stick with it just due to like... being realistic about my energy levels and etc. ESPECIALLY as we #enter the Evil Summer and it becomes hot all the time. But... one can attempt.. at least...#I'm also a very slow writer since I tend to re-read and edit while I write. and only move onto the next section once what I'm writing #seems okay. Which is easy for visual novel type stuff. since ''sections'' of a conversation are more clearly marked (like if you #have a menu option with 5 different dialogue choices. finish the character's response for choice 1 before moving onto 2. etc.)#Especially since when I'm done with a whole quest I always follow it up by playing through it and picking every option and making sure it #actually all works okay and etc. So I am already going to see it all a second time. Then I can go back and reorder a few words or remove #certain sentences that don't sound natural when I read them out loud (I always read it all outloud to myself since it is... just peple #talking.. it should sound like natural dialogue in their voice. etc). But my ''first draft'' is kind of not as first drafty since I pause t #edit a lot as I go along. So it also takes longer probably than it would take other people who I think treat a first draft as more #of a loose guideline or something. AANYWAY...#80F in my bedroom right now again... huzzah... I did end up finishing and recording that sims build video before the heat wave (or is #it really a heat wave if it's just summer..?? lol) came in.. but now... augh.. the editing... plus the costume photos and all else... Much #to do as always.. Often such a long todo list.. a giant scroll hung upon the walls of the evil hermit wizard tower..#Anyhow.. I hope I can finish getting ready for bed early in time to reward myself with a game of tripeaks solitaire whilst I snack on #cheddar cheese and some of those preserved artichokes in a jar. hrgm... I actually have nasturtiums (ultimate best flower) on the #deck again this year but I had to move them all into a corner today because the leaves were getting burnt by the sun lol.. Also am now more #cautiously weaving through social media to ignore all dragon age news. NOT bc of spoilers (I actually love spoilers/literally never play #any game until there's full guides on it I can read to plan my entire playthrough based on knowing exactly what I want to happen lol + mods #and etc.) but just because I'm so busy with my ownprojects I simply do not have the brainspace to dedicate... Yes I love to think #about elves and fictional universe lore. but no.. I pretend I do not see it. Does not exist to me actually. ghgj.. OHH also took som #cool pictures of flowers in the garden section of a store and I wanted to do like.. character designs based on the colors of the flowers o #something. but that might just be another unnecessary project to add to the pile.. I want to commit to the daunting task of dyeing my #hair again some time.. hrm.. this is all of the updates I can think of. As if a bunch of random tags make up for never posting anything for #weeks on end lol.. alas.. too warm to think properly I suppose.. .. I neeeeeed a long lost relative to leave me some million dollar #estate in their will so I can have the resources to move to a colder climate or something ..augh #.. but for now.. In late June, Ed and Stormy moved into the derelict Old Salt House bar, previously owned by his great aunt. He inherited it since there were no other surviving relatives. They previously lived in a shithole studio apartment in Evergreen Harbor, so a little bit of fix-'er-up was acceptable. This was a lot more than a little bit. This was going to take literal years. Stormy didn't mind a bit of mess, but Ed fainted because of a mouse caught in a trap. Honestly, he couldn't handle anything more intense than the dishes or sweeping. She had no idea why he thought the costs saved in doing it themselves would be worth it, but she knew better than to draw attention to this fact. "How's it looking?" "Haunted as fuck, get in before you get rained on."

i vividly remember feeling extremely betrayed when cassiopeia reveals that she was using you in the 4th episode of her route. when i played it in the league client for the first time (which i miss so much, god) i became enamored by her, wooed by her perceived sensitivity and all the little pet names she'd give you. i was so sad when she revealed that it was all an act to get you to do her bidding for her. all these years later, i realize how fitting that was for her character. as the game so aptly points out, she is a literal snake. we should have seen her betrayal coming from a mile away. that final episode gave her character so much depth, and i now found myself even more drawn to her because of it, instead of feeling betrayed. i think that's just because my identity as a villain lover is far more refined now, but whatever. spirit bonds cassiopeia.

THE SIMS 3 STORE PRE-INSTALLED

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!

It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).

Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).

Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.

You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.

Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.

CAUTION

Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.

If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.

I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.

Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.

I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.

UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025

Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.

Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.

If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to me. I've put a lot of effort into making the installation process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Dag Dag!

wtf, really? that manifold part feels like a paradox intuitively, though I guess I can imagine it working if I think about it

the second funniest/most interesting part about conveyor management in factory sims is making splitters that equally distribute the content of one input to multiple outputs. Satisfactory has a default splitter that can do either 2 or 3 outputs, so you can stack those to neatly split into any multiple of those numbers, but what if you want a weird number of outputs that doesn't factor into 2 and 3, like 5? well obviously you make a 1-to-6 splitter and then merge one of the outputs back into the input:

the first funniest part of conveyor management in factory sims is that none of this even matters because manifolds (where you split every input off the same line one after another with no balancing and let buildings back up) work just as well after their initial warmup period for a fraction of the effort and space

#I might just be salty because I spent hours last week playing a different factory sim #and I'm horrified to learn there was an easier way to split resource distribution the entire time #sounds even easier to load-balance if you can just add 1 more element to the manifold #video games

Holy shit i dont think i ever worked on something this long

anyways. im sure you're all bored to death of my WIP posts, it's finally here!!! a big clutter set full of things to make a nintendo store with. or... just clutter for your sims bedrooms hehe. excuse my lack of fancy preview for this i just reused pics from my build LMAO

these items are DECO ONLY!!! they dont function unfortunately

What's inside? From left to right:

Nintendo Ads on Beos' Backlit Poster - 18 swatches

Nintendo Ads on NL Cantankerous Splatter - 26 swatches

Nintendo Logos on Keoni's OFB Bag Addons - 6 swatches

Wii Fit Board, Wiimote, Wii Motion Plus Remote and Wii Consoles - 2 swatches each for the console and wii mote (original functional by Blackgarden on TSR here, rest from Models Resource)

Gamecube Console + Controller - (original functional by Blackgarden on TSR here. There is also a game boxes clutter here too that is by Kardofe but textured/remapped by me, I forgot to get a photo but you can view it here)

Gameboy Advance + Advance SP - 4t2 from Lightningbolt @ MTS. Be warned that these are sort of on the high poly side (around 1-2k poly) but texture sizes are quite small. Screens are their own subset so you can recolour the screens without changing the console colour.

Nintendo DS Game Boxes and Cartridges - Has a shelf version, a single game box version and another single game box that is upside down so you can see the back. Cartridge is the same. These are original meshes by me, very low poly and smallish textures :)

Mohd's DS Lite replacement turned into deco - Featuring a closed version that is repo'd to the open version. Screens unfortunately not recolourable due to how the mesh is structured, but comes in a variety of colours. Original at MTS here.

Same as the above I don't know why I didn't put em in one pic

RetailSims Wii Boxes - Recoloured and addons created by me and repo'd to the single box.

DS Lite Boxes - Meshed and textured by me, addons repo'd to the upright single box. Low poly.

Gamecube Boxes - Meshed and textured by me, 5 recolours. Low poly.
