This is just the start to my crazy life as a single mother and a pharmacy tech in a “big chain” company. This will be my escape and vent session. See how things are through my eyes, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Might see a lot of F bombs c: lol. So lets get started shall we XD

My name I shall keep anonymous but I'll share a little about myself. I have been a pharmacy tech for about 8 years and counting for a large well known company I shall keep confidential (incase some nosy person comes across my Tumblr) *sigh* I’ve been in a few different stores met a lot of different people... not just colleagues but patients as well. And I just have so many stories lol. over times you will get to know me and my crazy colleagues. But for now lets just stick to me. As I mentioned earlier I am a single mother so balancing two kids plus a career becomes a little overwhelming. I got two beautiful children who keep me on my toes constantly.

Just because we made them doesn’t mean we don’t have to be gracious when speaking with them. Truth be told, @thedevinakaur had never actually taken a selfie until the year 2016 when I was going to real estate school, before I had found my life purpose of SEXY BRILLIANT. I still remember a conversation with my classmate and friend Jennifer: @thedevinakaur : “do you ever take selfie‘s?” Jennifer replied “i only take selfie‘s when I need to check how I look” Jennifer’s answer made me think about my own idea about self-love and taking selfie‘s. That’s when I took my first ever selfie. With Jennifer watching me lol (for support - please check previous posts for more on confidence). So often we are told that self-love is selfish. We are also told that taking selfies is a sign of narcissism. I am here to say that actually self-love is the only love that matters. As many of you know I have been struggling with mental health, depression and suicidal thoughts as posted in June 2018, the way I got over my darkness was to accept and love all parts of myself (and of course with professional help- please do the same if you are struggling, healing becomes easier with the right support group). Regarding self-love, think about it - the more love we have for ourselves the easier it is to love others. When we know and ACCEPT ourselves it is easier to love all parts of ourselves. Remember no part of ourself is our own enemy. I encourage you to get to know yourself. Which leads to more self-acceptance! Remember the journey to more self love is L.O.V.E. itself. It is so challenging when our children want to give up on their education. We don’t understand why. When we were their age it wasn’t even an option. Our parents would have raged holy war against us. We are. Ow in different times and have to play the game with the rules we have. So when we are challenged by our teens that want to throw in the towel on school. Try these 3 things. #1 ask yourself what you fear most about them quitting school and find a way to make peace with it because you can’t control it and you deserve a break. #2 ask them what their plans are. Speak to them as an adult ther is going to have responsibilities when they leave school. Children attend school. Children that quit school are asking to be adults very early. Speak to that point. #3 take them to a fast food joint and have lunch and let them fill out an application. Watch the people flipping burgers and cleaning tables. Then explain to them cost of living and that their cell phone bill will require them to work a half a day here sweating and flipping burgers. This is a reality check. Do this all with a happy face and know you are guiding and mentoring them to become functioning and responsible adults. You can love them or control them but you can’t do both.
