another update about siraj’s fundraiser situation

i finally received my first refund this morning and i am so glad, because it means i know my donation can go to the right place now, instead of being stuck in GFM’s bureaucracy or whatever.

if, like me, you received a refund from siraj’s now-terminated gofundme, please return it to him here. the new fundraiser is under his sister’s name but benefits the same people.

if you donated to the old fundraiser but haven’t received a refund within the past couple weeks, you should request a refund immediately to speed up the process. if you made several donations like i did, request a refund and then tell the customer service person you want refunds on all donations made with your email.

please share this post because a lot of now defunct posts about siraj’s old fundraiser have gotten a ton of notes but not any about his current situation. he lost over $27,000 USD and can no longer afford food, water and shelter for his family of 24, which includes 10 children under the age of 13. people who cared about his family enough to donate should know what happened.

Trying to survive 🥺

Did you get used to the scene!!

Winter has come hard for us after displacement, oppression, and displacement. There is no good shelter to protect us from the cold, nor enough blankets or heavy clothes, after we lost everything in trying to survive with our lives.

My family consists of 23 people, 10 of whom are children. We were displaced without anything but the clothes we were wearing, and with the weather being cold at the moment, children and the elderly are almost freezing due to the cold.

I ask you to help me provide winter supplies, such as clothes and heavy blankets, for my family, which we cannot buy in light of the skyrocketing prices in Gaza. Remember my friend: “You must be a human being before you can be smart, rich, and educated. All things fall if your humanity falls.”

I beg you to protect my family from this danger and keep them alive.🙏

Forced displacement of the Siraj family

Hey guys! I've never made a post like this before, but @siraj2024 reached out to me and wrote a story on the horrors his family is experiencing in Gaza. Please read, share, and, if you can, donate!!!

The story:

It is a family of five members, a husband, wife, and 3 children, who are experiencing the harshest kinds of suffering in the ongoing war on Gaza.

Suddenly and without warning, warplane and artillery missiles rained down on them from every direction!

For a few minutes, it was the story of their displacement, forced displacement, fleeing from death to death, children screaming, adults suffering, without anything they left except their souls that were tired of all this crime!

After their sixth displacement, this family lives in extremely hot tents, full of epidemics and diseases, lacking the minimum necessities of life, and unfit for human living. What this family is asking is to help them build their home to get out of the bitter and difficult life in tents. Help them, you are their great hope.

Hello, my name is Siraj from Gaza. My family consists of 5 members, me, my wife and 3 children. my story:
