[ID: Offical concept art for two mercy skins. Mercy is a skinny white women. On the left she is wearing a stylized wedding dress, and has feathered wings. Her hair is blonde and in a fancy bun. On the right she is wearing a dark dress, feathered headdress, and a metal mask covering her eyes. Her wings are a bright red and fiery. Her hair is long and white, and her skin has a slight pink tint. END ID]
More survey skins! Wedding Formal mercy and Fallen Angel mercy.
They both look so good, I don't know what to say... of all the survey skins I've posted (victorian neko mercy, flapper dress mercy, the ugly masquerade one) these are by far my favorites. I don't even know which one I prefer, they both fulfill their role (pretty/evil) extremely well.

Hello! I'm (very tentatively) approaching a project based around visible body differences and self image- here body differences are things that affect the way you look that are NOT considered 'normal' (yes, I know that's subjective!). As part of this I've made a form to gather info on how people's body differences affect them. It would be much appreciated if you could spare a couple minutes to fill out this form if you have a body difference!
Please rb this so I can reach as many people as possible; thanks!

To tack on to the ask you had about Carlos being white: your anon wasn’t entirely wrong and neither are you, but there’s more that some fans—especially European fans—may not recognize about certain prejudices and misconceptions that exist outside of Europe.
While it’s true that Carlos is white (both ethnically and in privilege) and therefore can’t really experience racism, prejudice always exists in context. Carlos is a Spanish-speaker. White Americans typically associate the Spanish language with latine people, who are regular targets of white racism on this side of the Atlantic. Carlos can’t personally experience racism since he’s white, but he can still be (and is, I see it all the time) the target of racist sentiments from white American fans, usually online. This doesn’t hurt Carlos directly I think so much as it affects anyone passively absorbing those kinds of sentiments while they’re scrolling their feed.
So no, Carlos could never be a victim of racism the way Lewis, Alex, Checo, Zhou, or Yuki are. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t fans implicitly or explicitly spitting racist shit at him.
I actually had these same thoughts while responding to that previous ask and that’s kind of why I brought it up in the first place, because I come from a culture where, even though Carlos is white, he would still be the target of racist sentiments and prejudice. Racists in the US probably can’t distinguish between latine and Spanish people and I do think it’s very likely that there are American F1 fans who treat Carlos differently compared to other European drivers because they don’t understand that he’s as culturally white as any of the paler Europeans on the grid.

Tell me why. Please.
Q+A:
1. Do I get to pick who's living in there with me? If you want to.
2. Can they be in separate rooms in my brain? If you want them too.
3. Can they control my body? You can decide how much control you think they would have over your body.
Basically this question means whatever you think it means. Have fun!
Reblog this so that I get a wider demographic please 🙏 ❤️ 💖 💗
Edit: I FORGOT TO PUT THE 'NOBODY' OPTION, as in your body holds nobody at all and functions without you. If you pick this one feel free to put it in the comments or tags

Skincare brands are a bunch of misogynistic bullshit. They sell the idea of "perfect skin" as the goal, of which their idea is unachievable for most people and they know it.
Taking care of your body shouldn't be mixed in with all these weird standards... I have naturally oily skin and am prone to acne, especially at a certain point of my cycle (hormonal acne?? Idfk) and it would make my skin picking urges worse + they were painful. My doctor prescribed a topical clindamycin and i got otc niacinimide and it seriously reduced my acne and picking urges by consequence and all that.
Anyway that to say, wearing sunscreen is great, not because of the Horrific idea that you might look older if you don't wear it, but because it prevents burning and literal cancer. Retinoids (including retinol but there's more than that) have medicinal purpose, since they increase cell turnover in the skin (usually used for acne), but most people like it for getting rid of fine wrinkles, which is medically unnecessary. Vitamin C can help repair sun damage and heal your skin faster if you get a cut or acne or whatever else gets through your skin, but it's used for... you guessed it, getting rid of dark spots and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid improves skin hydration which can help with ezcema and conditions like rosecea, but its used for... wrinkles. Moisturizing your face can help improve your skin barrier, you know, that thing that keeps particles and bugs and bacteria from entering your body. But why is it touted? So that your skin LOOKS bouncy and so that you dont DARE look old one day.
Like all of these ingredients have use beyond cosmetic, a lot which are used for medical conditions and specific, solvable (or managable) problems. Almost no one needs a routine with all of these items, but taking care of an issue of which there is an easy chemical solution to shouldn't come packaged with all of these sexist messages that you must be keeping yourself pretty and young looking all the time.
I just feel like these things shouldn't come with pretty packaging and promises. In an ideal world, they should be packaged like an otc medication with dosage and use case info, to be used by people who will actually benefit from them instead of people on instagram with a blurring filter on who tell people if they don't slather 7 different products on their face every day and night they might look their age.
Buying one product you need once and using it until it's gone isn't expensive, what's expensive is buying entire skincare routines you were shamed into getting and stopping using it the next day or week or month because you never had purpose for it in the first place, then starting that over again once you see an influencer talking about a new one... it's so pointless. It exists to get people to spend their money.
Idk I wish we could just take care of our body for the sake of taking care of our body.

Let's be real, hyv is scared of bipoc and strong, thick, muscular and/or fat women. The variety we get in the male models is insane but we only have short and skinny woman or tall and skinny woman with huge boobs. It's one of my biggest gripes with genshin and makes me feel even worse when you've got characters like Candace, Beidou, and Dehya that look like that.
Thank god the fan artists come through and give them the body types we all know they have. Also I'm sorry I'm blowing up your inbox I just have very strong feelings on this --
DEADASS. especially the representation in sumeru?????? it’s so frustrating that consumers of the game tell them, over and over, that they want more representation in the game and over and over it’s ignored. hoyo has been in the industry long enough and it is enough of an international company that representation should be something they take seriously and answer to. but they don’t, because they stick with the same dry formula that sells.
it’s the same with the female designs. they keep putting them in near-lingerie and don’t bother giving them decent backstories because they know people will whale for them because they’re hot. i get it, they’re a company and the point is to make revenue, but it is so frustrating that they don’t listen to such a large portion of their consumers.
and it is such a shame because it really is a beautiful storyline. it’s so clear they put so much effort into the research and weaving all the plot lines together. but then a massive chunk of their characters are just after thoughts and it absolutely puts a shadow over everything they’ve built.
