Hello, all! New blog, long-time Tumblr user.

About Me:

You can call me Pages. I'm a cis female, 28 years old, living in America. I work as a professional pastry assistant and I'm in culinary school for baking and pastry arts!

I have a Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing. Been a writer and storyteller since my first coherent memories formed. Took a nearly two-year-long break from any and all fandom spaces because of extreme harassment and doxxing that went through the last online fandom I was in.

Current Fandom(s) of Interest: Elder Scrolls (Skyrim, mostly)

I waited over a decade to be able to play my copy of Skyrim on PC (finally found a PC that could run it well) and I began playing a few months ago. I am now lost in the sauce of The Elder Scrolls. I'm late to the party, but I'm still here to get turnt!

I'm very new to ES, but I'm hoping to have a great time here! I'm a little worried about not fully understanding the lore and making myself look like a fool, but I'm learning as much as I can and I'm having a blast doing it -- and that's what matters!

I made an Ao3 before deciding to bite the bullet and make a fresh new blog to be able to like and share nothing but fandom stuff. It's very freeing!

Introductions

Hello all, you can call me Oliver or Oli! I'm new here and I'm primarily interested in all things The Elder Scrolls related. I do have a few other interests, but I'm trying to focus primarily on lore and OC related things for the games in the series. I haven't yet had a chance to play Daggerfall or Arena and while I own Elder Scrolls Online, I don't really play MMO's much so I've not played much of it. I started off with Morrowind when I was a kid, though at the time I had more of an interest in attacking anybody and everybody instead of reading the dialogue. It wouldn't be until Oblivion came out before I'd finally start actually reading what I was supposed to be doing, and when I'd finally started actually reading the books. I fell in love pretty much immediately. Of course I've played Skyrim to death as well, primarily with more lore accurate mods than not so that I could still immerse myself into the world. Now, the reason I came to tumblr is because I was hoping to make some friends that I could talk w/ on the subject here as I begin to start work on a fanfic(I've written like, two, in my whole life). I just want a new hobby and I've always enjoyed making up stories in my head, though historically I've been terrible at writing them down. But who knows? Maybe this time will be different. Either way, it's nice to meet you. (:

My brain is entirely mush today, but thankfully it is my off day so I just spent it doing nothing. Except brainstorming fun ideas.

One of them being how Ondolemar and Faylen formally meet. Me and my fiance were RPing them doing The Taste of Death quest but ending it quite early because Faylen roped Ondolemar into helping her flush them out.

After that he kept a mild interest in her as she stayed in the city for whatever reason. Faylen herself really didn't make herself scarce either, but that's for different reasons.

The next time they interacted in any meaningful manner was during a Festival for Dibella and Faylen volunteered herself as a dancer for the performance. Dressed in fancy silks and showing off her best dance moves, Ondolemar was momentarily charmed by it. So much so that after the performance and he saw her walk away, he followed after. And after he turned the corner and didn't see her there he broke his own concentration and thought, "What am I doing?"

Only to have Faylen sitting on a higher wall looking down at him and ask him, "What were you doing?"

To which Ondolemar didn't have an answer, so Faylen didn't stick around. She wasn't interested in a Thalmor Justicier following her, even if she was interested back at him. She wasn't going to spare the time for a mer that didn't know what he wanted.

And that's all I got, but that was where Ondolemar kept a closer eye on Faylen and tried to get her attention.

On that subject, I’m not looking to get to know anyone or make friends online. If I don’t know you face to face then I’m not interested. I don’t make a good conversationalist.

Enough personal shit, time to get to characters >;]

First we have my poster child, Stygian. He’s a (currently) 12 foot long shark-like mermaid/merman native to the Backrooms. Use whatever label you want, he doesn’t care. I take pre-existing poolrooms backgrounds and plop him in there. Sometimes with friends :]. Sometimes I make my own backgrounds but those are more rare. He is friendly, so long as you’re not harassing him.

Second we have Simon and Kurtis. These two live in a wild western world where magic and supernatural shit is real. I’m in the process of writing a book on these two. Kurtis is a Native American and natural born lycan, Simon is a trans man who struggles with demonic possession. Both had extremely harsh childhoods and must deal with similar individual trauma related to it, finding comfort in each other.

Third, this is Varian. An Altmer gifted in electromancy. He is a very clumsy individual, often bullied for it wherever he goes. His main passion is music and art, much to the dismay of his heavily disapproving parents. He was conscripted into the Aldmeri military against his will and sent overseas into Cyrodill. One day he meets a little black bird, leading to severe memory loss.

Finally, we have Atlas. The world hopping, shapeshifting, “demon.” While that label isn’t accurate, it will do for now.

Ik she’s my header but here’s my ldb Eerie! She’s a mage as you could probably assume by her attire and she’s a dagi-raht furstock (yes I know that you can only be cathay in Skyrim and a few other tes games but I ultimately do not care) (name still pending bc when I picked up Skyrim again I forgot how khajiit names worked and decided to go for a pun) she specializes in lightning and storm magic specifically so destruction and a bit of alteration in terms of schools but also uses some conjuration (storm atronachs :D) and illusions but isn’t as proficient.
