This pattern is not mine, it is a DMC pattern that I got for free when I ordered some floss from an Etsy shop. This is Art. 117.

And it’s done! I think it’s pretty cute. I’ll be seeing my friend in a few weeks and I’ll give it to her then. Tomorrow is new project day!

In honor of my dear friend Jonathan finally making it to his destination, here's a cross-stitch that I did for him last May on Friday the 13th!

It's always nice to be welcomed by a new friend. :')

It's a simple pattern, but working with glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss is always a pain (it frays terribly) so I'm happy with how it turned out!

Roughly 24 hours of progress on my project for this year's Desert Bus Craftalong so far, out of an estimated 180 hours. So we've got a ways to go yet, but I think this moon came out pretty well.

As is tradition, I'm not telling what the subject is, but that silhouette might look a little familiar...

Also, if anyone needs a reminder, today (May 27) is the last day of the Craftalong submission period, so if you're thinking of submitting a craft idea for this year, get it in before midnight PDT!

(Yes, I started this before submissions even open, because if I didn't, I'd never have enough time to finish by the deadline. Cross stitch takes a lot of time! Also I procrastinate working on the pattern a lot.)
