A good liar also needs to be a good actor

Anyone can say something entirely false, however if you don’t have the skills to convince someone that it is true then they will see right through you

However, not all good actors are good liars

If you are caught suddenly in a situation in which you need to lie and are unprepared then you may be unable to convincingly act your way out of it

Or maybe the actor could just be really good at acting as someone else but not at hiding their own deceit as they are unable to replicate their own actions unnaturally

I have come to this conclusion via a combination of experience in which I successfully lied to my drama teacher (dude it’s literally your job to teach people to act it’s your own fault I was good at lying to you) and this (follow actor) girl I used to be friends with* lying to my best friend and being seen though immediately

Smart beauty for me is not just about using expensively asserted beauty products manufactured in factories. Beauty for me should always be with a purpose, comes with a mind of their own and products that understand our skin. 

What Is the Real Definition of Beauty?

Beauty has varied throughout time, various cultures and the vast different perceptions of the world. Beauty has been described and depicted through pictures and concepts penetrating our minds. Beauty has been defined in so many ways. What I have discovered is that beauty is simple. Beauty is happiness.

Beauty is a combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight:

i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.

as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."

NOW??? NOW?? you'd think I'd be oh so skilled. but alas. i can barely piece together two ideas. adhd skill-regression is so so real. im SOBBING

Hey folks, let me ask you: which one of you is also a fan of the little folks? The Peanuts you know as the Syndicate called them. However I love them. All of them. And especially Snoopy the smart beagle who is often so human. I remember when once he took a pair of scissors and a piece of paper and cut a small red heart out just to please his friends. Imagine. A dog. But what a dog. And now imagine what we humans can do. With our mind. With our imagination. With heart and hands. With scissors. Sheets of paper. A pen maybe. A laptop will do, too. In fact there is so much that helps us take flight. Yes, I think - it's time to start over show some heart in this dog eat dog world. Don't get me wrong. Nothing against dogs. On the contrary. Because - as I told you before - I love Snoopy, who can show us what it means to be human.

I remember discussing Tintin casting choices with a friend from Germany and remarked how it was odd he often has an English accent in adaptations rather than a Belgian one, and my friend just replied "that's because Tintin gives incredibly strong English boy energy (derogatory)"

Here in the UK there's a lot of weird classism tied into accents. Today accent diversity and representation in broadcasting is actively pursued but in Tintin's time there certainly was a preferred accent to have.

"Impertinent isn't a 12 year old word" TO YOU. It's not a typical word in a 12 year old's vocabulary.

But Percy isn't an average 12 years old. He's smart. He's beyond average smart. The only reason why he sucks at school is because they don't accommodate his dyslexia and ADHD, and even then he managed to get good enough grades to be accepted into a university after missing most of his 11th grade.

And to really nail down this point, please look at this quote:

The main reason why a huge part of the fandom thinks Percy is stupid is because some characters (cleary not our queen Sally Jackson) talk down to him, call him stupid, encourage others to make jokes about him being stupid etc. We should recognize that those dialogues are not a reflection of Percy, but of what those characters think about Percy and Percy's non-existant self esteem.
