Our Time - Finnick x GN!Reader

Our Time

Today I was working on something where some of us were going over data in a large Excel worksheet. It goes out to column DF and down to row 514.

The person who created the worksheet is screen sharing with us via Teams. She was moving all over the worksheet. It was difficult for me to keep track of some things because she top row and the far right column, both containing field descriptions, keep disappearing.

I asked her to freeze column A and rows 1 and 2.

"Sorry," she said. "I don't like to do that."

What the hell? So others and I keep keep asking, "What [piece of data] is that for? What is that for? What is that for?"

But here's what really killed me. She can't remember all the headings either, so she kept scrolling up or to the right to read the headings.

I suggested she use the F5 command, which lets users move directly to a cell. Pressing the F5 key, followed by A1, will bring you immediately to cell A1, for example.

"Sorry," she said," I am not used to that. I like the sliders instead."

She really wasted a lot of our time. There wasn't any pizza in it for us either :(

Our Time Update

hello everyone 🥰 i know it’s been a long time and i’m so sorry for that but i needed it probably lol

i’ve been writing here and there but overall it’s been pretty difficult because my focus/concentration has been nonexistent and my health hasn’t been the greatest either. BUT id like to believe i’m doing better and i’m really excited because i’m almost ready to update Our Time

but the reason i’m extra excited and i hope you will be too is because:

the next Our Time update will be a 2 in 1! It will be both chapters 7 and 8 in one update and it will be titled for separation within the post.

yes, this means it’s going to be one LONG post because it is two separate chapters!

i’m sorry for being away and i appreciate all the love and support you’ve sent me :] i hope this is a nice gift from me to you 💜

Our Time chapters 7 and 8 will be posted some time next week! i’m not sure exactly which day but you’ll know beforehand

What a Fantastic Show!!

I saw this marvelous cast in Merrily We Roll Along this weekend. Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe, and Lindsay Mendez were all superb and Stephen Sondheim's score is fabulous.

The closing song, "Our Time," is one of my favorites since it evokes the youthful, excited hopefulness of what lies ahead in the future, beginning the next stage of your life, looking forward to what is possible, yearning for an existence that is yet unknown.
