It was hard accepting that Spencer was spending time with someone other than you, yes, but you honestly did not care. You could not care less. As much as you love him, he's also a free man... which is what you would say if that did happen. It's strange to see him get along with Maeve as though she were part of the BAU.

You choose to ignore Spencer's lack of signal when you snipe through Diane's hand and give everyone the space to move in. The gun clatters against the roof, and you can already feel the nagging from Hotch for moving without consulting any of them beforehand.

"Is she alright?"

"She's good." Garcia mumbles. "She's fine. She fainted, but she's alright."

"Good." You mumble.

"Honey, are you—"

"I'm fine." You pack up your bag. "Spence. Are you alright?"

"Maeve's fainted and I caught her, but I just. Thank you." He mumbles. "You wanna get dinner after this?"

"You're not gonna stay with her at the hospital?"

"She'll be fine. We can grab something nearby." He hums. "Paramedics are here, right?"

"Yeah." You glance down. "Is Diane okay?"

"Her hand is bleeding, but Hotch has her."

"Alright."

"Honey?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

You laugh lightly as you spot Spencer staring up at you from his roof.

"I love you too."

for anyone who does not want to see the new eyestraining effects on Flight Rising - or, really, for anyone who just doesn't want to see effects at all - there are two ways to (sort of) filter them. Both methods block all effects on the site, but both of them break Scenic Mode as effects are now tied to Scenic Mode.

Option 1 is to turn off WebGL. This retains the original dragon image without displaying the effect. Scenic mode only displays the original dragon .png as a fallback. Turning on/off WebGL will vary based on device, but the how-to should be easy to do + easy to search up online.

Option 2 uses a uBlock Origin filter, completely hiding any dragon onsite with an effect. Scenic Mode displays a solid white box. If you don't have uBlock, I highly, highly recommend it. It makes the Internet much more bearable.

uBlock method below:

Go into your uBlock dashboard (gear icon in the bottom right of the extension menu).

You should be in your filters menu, which looks like a dark box with numbers on the left. on a new line, type in this:

www1.flightrising.com##.dragon-effect-frame

3. Hit the 'Apply Changes' button in the top left corner.

Should you want to remove this filter, simply delete the line listed above. Make sure to hit 'Apply Changes' after.

How I think it works (not an expert) is that the frame holds the effect, so filtering the frame subsequently filters all effects.

It's puzzling to me how staff can release effects, acknowledge the eyestrain/motion sickness side effects, and then release even worse effects while waltzing into forums hawking the alt text function (that was barely advertised upon launch). With enough uproar I'm guessing there will be a real toggle for effects eventually, or at least a long-winded 'we're working on things' letter that will ultimately go nowhere.

good morning y’all !! now that i’ve had time to sleep on the crossover… oh my god ?? and i mean that in the best way possible. this was everything to me omg

although there were some things i lowkey wish we could’ve seen (i.e., more kelly and voight tension, potential my miracle parallel with stellaride), not getting them honestly didn’t take away at all from how much i loved this? more thoughts below the cut bc i got very rambly (and spoilers i guess ??)

starting with stellaride bc they’re my lovelies, obsessed with literally all their scenes. the intro? perfection. stella telling kelly to be careful without knowing she would be the one in the most danger the whole time? o w. “stella kidd, report back right now”? O W. and the more i think about it, the more i’m almost kinda glad we didn’t get the my miracle parallel? i mean sure, the absolute emotional gut punch would’ve done wonders, but there’s something that feels so much more intrinsically them about refusing to say goodbye to each other (namely stella refusing) and instead maintaining that fierce hope that everything would sort itself out and they’d be back together. on top of that, their little reunion with kelly being like “let’s get out of here tonight” like YES please go on that goddamn vacation now you two deserve to go to cancún something awful. what we did get may not be as heavy of a punch, per se, but at least to me, it hit all the same, and my god was i a lowkey mess hearing kelly’s message to stella being what she told him that morning😭 “we gotta make the time” what if i collapse huh then what

i think this has the potential, judging by the promo as well as this article, to be such a good segue into them finally getting into the real deep conversations and i’m really curious to see how it plays out over the rest of the season. i know some people think there could be a “but…” to this, but even if there is, i don’t think it will be as major of one people might worry it could be. that said, will it be an easy path? definitely not. i know we’re about to get some semblance of drama before the end of the season (and i’m prepared)😭 but all things considered, we’re heading in the overall right direction !!

secondly, plouch. oh my god plouch. i haven’t gotten more emotional watching this show in so long than i did last night watching those two. mouch talking to trudy before she went under for surgery? nobody touch me i’m STILL recovering from that one😭 christian stolte the actor that you are WOW, he put 200% into that and it SHOWS

stella and ruzek was such an incredible duo too, i need more of them asap actually. the way they balanced each other out and relied on each other and just worked so seamlessly as a team by the end of it, despite not being super familiar with each other? SO GOOD

what stella did to duffy when he had her at gunpoint??? first off i’m stunned that happened i wasn’t expecting that shit literally at all and god was i living in fear for a few moments there. but secondly, i’m floored omg, STELLA KIDD THE WOMAN YOU ARE. we all knew how badass she was before this, but that was something else. i think i just fell in love with her all over again but i digress

also one last thing, pascal’s reaction to stella not answering ?? i could go on and on about kelly’s obviously but pascal’s honestly caught me by surprise considering how frequently they’ve butt heads this entire season. the genuine concern ?? OUCH. there’s hope for them yet !! seeing that side of him, even if brief, was a good emotional punch. that mf truly does fascinate me as a character. will be thinking about that entire sequence for a while

i won’t keep yapping; i think all of that about sums up what i can manage cohesively LMAO. was this crossover perfect? no, but you truly can see just how much love and care and effort went into this entire thing from everyone involved. and i think as much as i do love the infection crossover, i gotta say, i think this one takes it as number one for me. i will be watching all three episodes so many more times

I can definitely see how Eddie can be considered to be OOC this episode, me included.

But I think we have to remember that this is, in fact, his first Halloween without Chris since "the incident" and he just found out that the last Halloween he celebrated with him was probably his last because Chris considers the holiday to be cringe now.

If anything, it feels as though Eddie's underlying emotions about the whole Kim situation is starting to slowly but surely bubble up to the surface. And it's only a matter of time before he breaks down.

the thing about bakugou is that he's not shy at all in almost every other aspect of his life, besides romantically (in my opinion). so if there's ever an issue, he's tackling it straight on; he's sure of himself, unafraid of confrontation, speaks his mind, stands up for himself and what he believes in—and if you're not like that, too, for the most part, i can see how little misunderstandings and hurt feelys could occur so easily.

he's also such a go-getter, so venting to him is probably impossible at the beginning of your relationship because he's immediately just telling you how to fix it and he doesn't understand why you're not listening to him.

like if you're having an issue with a coworker and just kind of lamenting about it to him, he's so—

"need to say somethin'," katsuki grunts, only briefly looking away from the gauntlet he's fiddling with at the dining table. there's a mess of screws and tiny pins and his hands are coated in a grease you can smell from where you're standing at the sink. "gonna walk all over you if you don't say nothin'."

and you're just—frustrated. wanting to complain in order to put words to how you're feeling, in case that will lighten the tension coiled in your shoulders.

"well, i know," you tell him quietly—and you do, you do know that, but you just want to be a crybaby for a minute. "but it's not like i can start a fight in the middle of work."

"why not?" he casts you another quick look, dark and furrowed, before leaning closer to—whatever he's looking at. there's a very small snapping sound, and he leans back with a hot huff and shakes his head. you know it's not but—it almost feels directed at you. "this is why they do it, you know that? because you don't do anything about it."

"i know, katsuki," you frown at him, but his attention is already diverted. "i'm just saying."

"saying it to me ain't gonna help you."

"okay," you huff now, too, before pushing off the counter. "i guess i just won't say it to you, then."

you catch the snap of his head in your peripheral vision, but continue on to your bedroom, not bothering to look back even when he starts stuttering.

"'m only—fuck. hang on."

i think i like writing it bc—there's so much for each of you to learn about each other every time 🥺 katsuki, how to talk to you; you, to read between his lines. and i think that's so sweet 🥺 two people that love each other working through their ugliest parts, and coming out the other side just as devoted 🥺

A somewhat heavy question, but if Clover was the only one to come back how do they feel about that? More importantly how do they feel about Asgore? I'd imagine that they of all people want Asgore to answer for the others (especially given the likelihood that they... didn't give their SOULS willingly ( on that note how is Asgore not in prison))

survivors guilt baby!!!! of course they’re happy to be back (they didn’t really want to die in the first place, no matter how many times they said they wanted to) but they cant help but feel bad for the previous fallen kids. the whole reason they went down there was to save them, and clover was the only one that could come back. its not like it’s they’re fault, they didnt KNOW or ASK to come back, but they just cant help feeling guilty.

they’ll always feel a little bitter that asgore didnt get any repercussions for what he did. they could never interact with asgore without remembering. i think if they had a long, solid conversation, clover could understand asgore a bit more, but they would definitely think asgore a coward for everything.

The radio plays on and we're heading Out Of Africa. The Scuttlers have already been and stolen the airwaves at least once this morning, leaving nothing but the Flivivites to rampage through, hissing and popping until order was restored and the band played on. Weatherwise there's glimpses of sunshine but it is seriously cooooold out there. At least it's not raining! So woo hoo for that! I don't care what the traffic is doing ... it's far off in the distance and I don't have to join the melee today.

Not many apples this year, the weather Gods have smited their number and any that have grown are waaaaay up where I can't reach them. Gravity brought these ones to me, so 'Cheers!' gravity, I thank you kindly. The mice are busy making themselves at home. Grrrrrr! Brazen as you like. Even with two cats in the house and the canines, these critters truly don't give a shit. Loft Cat is a real thunder paws and lays siege at every turn. Captain Blackbeard couldn't give a crap. I'm old, he says ... 12 and counting ... and very much less than inclined to 'make friends' with the mice. Mr Snippy did give it a go the other night ... valiantly threw himself across the floor after one particularly 'run the gauntlet' kind of mouse decided to go the full length of the kitchen floor. However ... end result was Mr Snippy sliding, tumbling and going through a bout of sneezing ... whilst Mr Mousey disappeared once more up the curtain. Pretty sure he blew a raspberry at Mr Snippy once he'd reached the counter.
