Hello again. Thank you so much for indulging me. Warning: the following answer is long.
Tbh I'm very fond of a majority of characters from Mondstadt (except Diona, who is my least favourite in the whole game). I thought the prologue was done pretty well, tho story wise it does seem to go a bit downhill from there.
I love Venti, Childe, Zhongli and Diluc (when I saw his outfit with the high ponytail my brain went brrr). I like Childe's backstory in particular but I find it so disheartening that half the fandom seems to seriously loath him. I find Diluc interesting as a character (I'm also hoping to get him, but till now no luck. Hopefully i won't have to wait two years :(() I also find Shenhe pretty cool.
For 4 stars I really like Xingqiu, Beidou, Thoma, and Layla. I like both their personalities and their playstyles. I also like Gorou, but just how he looks, since I actually haven't gotten to him yet.
As for ships I like Zhongven. This one came from the left field, but I honestly think it's my favourite. I like the dynamic (the canon crumbs, as well as what I think it would look like) between the two of them, as well as the fact that both of them are broke gods. Ngl I also enjoy that in lore, they are some of the oldest and most powerful characters. I like the idea that they could destroy the world if they banded together, but choose not to bc they enjoy drinking, and the finer thing in life too much. I also like Zhongchi, Chongqiu, Kaeluc (I need more canonical interactions between the two of them) and Cynonahri. And I know what you mean abt the interactions between Venti and Diluc. I like them either as platonic or as romantic, though I haven't found any good fanfic of the two of them.
I do also like Chilumi, but i've also avoided the fanfics.
(From the unreleased characters, just from how they look I like Pantalone and Arlecchino.)
Sorry for the long essay. I'm super excited to talk abt my favourites.
Also what's your opinion on weapon banners? Should I pull? Did you pull? Till now I've gotten pretty well with 4 stars and even a few 3 stars, but I'm wondering if having a 5 star limited weapon is better.
Nice! It's good to like characters. Zhongven is definitely one of the more colorful interactions in the game, so I can definitely see the appeal. I'm just not super fond of Zhongli on the whole, so I'm not exactly looking for more ships with him. I just like zhongchi for the fanfic melodrama lol.
For the weapon banner, I would honestly recommend against it. I've pulled on it, but purely because "my faves should have the bestest drip," so Childe got Polar Star, Noelle got Redhorn, Venti got Elegy (would prefer Skyward Harp, but I doubt we'll get a rate up of it for a long time, perhaps never again). Xiao got Scarlet Sands in the process, but we don't talk about that.
In general, there is very little benefit to doing so. Yes, the BIS 5 star weapons can increase the characters' damage, but there are many cases where a specific 4 star or even 3 star can come quite close, without needing to risk gacha. And you'll slowly accumulate most of the 4 stars just from the other banners. 5 stars are also super annoying to level, since they need more resources.
My weapon recommendations would actually be like this:
Make sure to get every event weapon you can, including refines. Even the ones that look like they're useless to you right now. You can skip levelling them if you're very short on resources, but that 1.5x bonus on EXP is very useful if you can manage it. I skipped Dodoco Tales back in the day, and I regret it now.
Favonius weapons are extremely useful, so I would suggest keeping at least two separate copies. Depending on your characters, you might benefit from even three copies. Refine them only after you separate out those 2-3.
Sac weapons are similar, though refining them decreases the time interval between triggering the effect, so in some cases it may be worth to prioritize refining a single copy enough to be shorter than the character's skill cooldown. Eg, Xingqiu generally wants R3 Sac Sword (iirc, didn't check the numbers) because that's when the cooldown on the sword passive becomes shorter than his skill cooldown, so you can trigger it every rotation.
Keep at least one R5 copy of every 3 star weapon, just in case. You'll probably want multiple copies of Thrilling Tales, at that. The standout 3 stars are generally Thrilling Tales, Black Tassel, sometimes White Tassel, sometimes Slingshot, sometimes Raven's Bow, Harbinger of Dawn (sword). Their passives are so strong that, on characters who do not care too much about the lower base attack, they can match or exceed certain 4 stars or even 5 stars.
Yes, there are 4 stars you can ONLY get from the weapon banners: the Lithic series (mid at best), the Watasumi series (ok but situational), and now the... Tulaytullah series (the Sumeru ones, can be good but nothing terribly outstanding). However, you don't really need them. None of them are just that amazing.
The thing about the weapon banner is that there will always be five 4 stars on rate up. You thought the odds for 4 star character finishing were bad? It's worse for 4 star weapons.
Additionally, there are always two 5 stars on rate up, and the way Fate points work, you're only guaranteed the one you want after losing TWICE. The pity is at 80, but that is still approx 65x3=195 rolls, more than a guaranteed 5 star character.
Is a weapon that will give you maaaaybe 5-10% increased DPS worth giving up multiple 5 star characters?
It's up to you, but generally not.
If you do decide to pull, there are these criteria I would check:
Do you have some use for BOTH rate up 5 star weapons? Because I got Memory of Dust while going for Polar Star and lol. It's been gathering dust since then.
How much does your future 5 star weapon haver actually benefit from the weapon? The most infamous case is Kokomi, whose signature catalyst is not always even her best option and is barely an upgrade in only one of her multiple roles. Some characters have better lower rarity options than others, and if they don't benefit as much, it's better to pass on the 5 star.
What are the 4 stars? Fishing for them won't end well, but if you're going for a 5 star, you're going to be getting a lot of... probably two of them, given how luck seems to work. If two of them are Bell and Eye of Perception, that's... not very appealing.
As a final reminder, the epitomized path points do NOT carry over between weapon banners. If you are planning to pull, it's better to be ready to go all 200 pulls in.
Good luck!

Gaming Headcanons
(Or how the Brothers play games with MC) Brothers + gn!reader just a fun little idea that bounced around in my head after I made the Barbatos version. you can view everything romantically or platonically! doesn't matter
dateables + Luke
                                                       -------------
Tumblr media
Lucifer:
Are you insane? You think that the oh-so-busy Lucifer would have time to play silly games with you? Really? Okay well, maybe sometimes. For a moment you think he might scold you for slacking off, but another part of him welcomes it. Especially since you seemed to want his attention.
Ask him on the right day when he’s not massively overloaded with a lot of work, he’ll make time. A break now and then is good after all.
Lucifer will make it seem as casual as possible though, but he’s secretly pleased the change of pace. (even if he says otherwise)
Frankly he strikes me as the type to secretly play Candy Crush under his desk when the paperwork and files become too much. He gets addicted to those terrible time-waster sandbox games, and hates that he really enjoys them. But focusing on them brings a sort of... peaceful distraction...
But if you'd like to play a game with him he seems more like the type to excel in card games or board games. Things like poker or chess and stimulating things are the best options!
If it’s a game you're new to and completely unfamiliar with he’d absolutely take the time to teach you how to play it. Get ready for an extensive step by step on how to play for the next hour!
He’s not opposed to other types of games though. Levi’s roped him into so many cursed videogames on accident that he approaches pretty much anything with a confident manner. (Though he starts to get just a little salty if he's on the losing end. He is still quite prideful after all)
No matter... it's a reward on it's own if he can see you smiling or laughing. A bit unfortunate that it be at his expense however....
"I suppose taking a break from work was well worth it then. Hm? While it may be unlike me to admit defeat so easily, I wouldn’t say it was a waste of time. It’s refreshing to be in your presence, MC. Message me again if you find any other interesting games."
Tumblr media
Mammon:
Mammon is STUPIDLY. RIDICULOUSLY. INSANELY lucky at games. Specifically gambling sure, but I like to think that his gambling luck follows him a little bit sometimes.
It’s only when he starts gloating and showing off about it does his luck immediately run out... poor mammon..
The very first time you bring up wanting to play a game with him though he's all nonchalant on the surface, but the fact that you came to him over everyone else makes him secretly happy
casually brings it up in conversation with others that you were his first or somethin like that and people start looking at him weird
He’s like: "Ah, whatever, sure. We can do something if you want I guess... since youre lookin’ all pathetic without my guidance or whatever." *looks at you hopefully* 👀👀👀 "So what're we playin'? I can teach ya if you need help with this one."
To be honest if you do actually need his help with some sort of gambling then he really will go all out. But casual games between the two of you are fun as well
I like to think that Levi will ask him to do his gacha pulls for him. Mammon still has no clue how in the world him pressing a button helps, but if Levi seems happy enough its whatever. So if you're also simply coming to him for something like that he’s confused, but he won’t turn you away. (will lean over your shoulder and squint at the phone though)
Not to reduce him to his whole gambling schtick but i feel like he'd be well versed in pretty much any sort of entertainment type game. But he plays the odd game here and there with the other brothers.
Test your luck against him in a card game or backgammon or anything like that if you want. At the very least it'll make him happy, and its something he can actually really focus on.
He still gets really competitive lowkey though. You gotta catch him on the right day with a pout and a pleading look in your eye if you want him to give up and just let you win.
Mammon is a softie, you could absolutely win him over.
Unless its Mario Kart or something like that, he gets bullied by the brothers and even NPCs quite viciously. He probably gets bullied in most games with his brothers honestly. Perhaps you should go easier on him if you end up being better than him.
“You know, you ain’t too bad at this, MC. Maybe we can find another game to play when you’re free, okay? Just call me and I’ll be right over. I’m winnin next time though!”
Tumblr media
Leviathan:
Levi is THE number one gamer.
Like who are we kidding he eats, sleeps, breathes, gaming. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had those horrendous gaming related t-shirts he wears alone... or if he has a ‘live laugh pog’ carpet or something terrible like that in his room
He has the gaming chair and the light up rainbow keyboard setup i really dont know what else you want from me. what else could I say
Levi is either the type to stand to the side and say 'lol' in chat when The Skeletons start chasing you in Minecraft, or he gets clingy and always wants to see if you need help or protection.
Mans is always decked in the most high level expensive gear no matter what the game is anyways. He worked hard for it and will show it off. There’d be no point in not wearing it anyways. but God we get it... you're a pro gamer. Now hurry up and help fight the boss 🙄
Luckily for you he's always so excited to have a gaming partner to play around with and show off to that he just gets really focused on both you and the game. There is no room for self-deprecation in his mind since you’re the focus! For a little while at least </3 (no but seriously, he self-deprecates so much I personally think gaming with MC would leave less room for negativity since he has other things to worry about. Who else will slay all these mobs yknow-)
He gets a little silly because of this I think, if he’s not playing with online friends that is. He devotes so much of his time protecting you if you’re newer at a game or really seem to be struggling.
If you need armor or good gear he’ll give it to you. You need more items? He’s on it. You need to grind a boss for something special? Alright. lets go!
I can’t exactly say that he’s the best teacher, but seeing him look so excited is nice right?
Also the type to help you with getting achievements. No matter what game it is he’ll show you the steps to get it, or just do it himself if you ask. Bless his heart...
”I own both versions of [insert Pokémon Game here]. If you’re collecting them all I can help you with trading and filling the dex.”
”Is the sun bothering you, MC?” “I don’t think you can kill that in game, Levi.”
”If we can clear these dungeons by today we can get some really good prizes, MC! Don’t worry, I can definitely help you through. I made a guide for this one awhile back so if we follow this method...”
Levi and MC just have a lot of fun no matter what it is honestly. He’s quite competitive as well but more so in relation to his brothers. So perhaps there’s some favoritism thrown MCs way
Tumblr media
Satan:
No he will not number one victory royale with you.
He is not your little pogchamp. Get a grip!!!
Though he does strike me as the type to unironically love cat headphones hmmmm
He’d only wear them alone or around MC at first, but eventually he’d wear them when he games with the other brothers
Will he get you a matching set just to test the waters and gauge his reaction accordingly based on if you like it? Yes. He’s prepared to laugh it off as a little joke gift if you’re not receptive. If you like it though he’s very pleased. Starts going on about all the extra handy uses it comes with and how he was considerate with choosing the color yada yada
But he does get a little competitive if you bring something up that catches his interest. As long as he's curious enough and it sounds kind of fun he's gonna do it.
Honestly he doesn't strike me as the type to play games all that much, IF at all. (He’d be more of a mobile player at that)
There’s a good chance he knows about a lot of games either through hearing Levi mention them in passing, or just through stumbling upon them in his own free time (he does like to research after all)
Satan would definitely text you or ask in person if he had a query about an interesting human world game he read about
(Okay so it turns out whatever he read was an extremely dated ritual but MC quickly looks past that to teach him an actual game instead. No, no, Satan please put the book away. It is not a game.)
MC spends a fair amount of time teaching him old children’s hand games to his slight amusement. Whether he just wants to touch their hands or actually learn is unknown, but he absolutely eats it up every time they play Patty Cake
As for things I could actually see him playing in his free time.. He was really obsessed with Neko Atsume and Meow Meow Star Acres for awhile.
MC would occasionally ask “How’s that black cat doing today?” and Satan will reply “Ah, Hermeowne is doing lovely today. Would you like to see her?” And he’s already opening the app to show you
Unironically though, I think it would be really funny if he somehow got into GTA. It’s “for the culture” he claims when he mentions how he finds the game. Thinks it’s a bit ridiculous and extremely vulgar as he loads it up, which is sort amusing at first. He’s stealing cars and running over the NPCS almost immediately.
Momentarily he panics because ‘This isn’t linked to any real world pedestrians right? It’s all actual code?’ Yes, Satan it’s actual code. No. Satan, they aren’t real people. Carry on.
Oh great, now you lost him for a week straight.
Tumblr media
Asmodeus:
girlsgogames dot com end of story
Devilish Hairstyler.... Pet Makeovers.... Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures.... he’s all about that genre of gaming
He's mostly invested in those really elaborate 'you start out with nothing and need to redecorate and/or dress everyone up' type of games
Asmo wouldn’t be embarrassed about it by any means, but I think a small part of him would be a bit flustered if it was truly found out how much time he really logs into these sort of things
I think he'd also be super invested in The Sims franchise. Asmo has this really elaborate little fake world where he creates people and starts tedious drama in game for fun. Has probably recreated all of his brothers to further the chaos
Was absolutely appalled with the way he looked in the game the first time.
No he just couldn't have that. Not at all. He spent hours getting tons and tons of mods to beautify himself (with Levi’s help and guidance of course).
It almost quite literally looks as if he stepped into the game world, which had really worried MC for a moment. They’ve been in enough wacky game world related scenarios as is, they just had to be sure
Asmo usually has to be in the mood to game since it’s usually the last thing on his mind, but you're free to watch him play of course! He can give you a nice tour of all the houses he’s worked on and fill you in on all the fake drama
It’s a very long and overly complicated story though so just know what you’re getting yourself into!
Honestly though, If he did have to actually play something, he’s more of the ‘I’m bad at gaming but I’m having fun so it’s all good’ type
He came 6th in Mario Kart? Ah, he’s a little annoyed that he couldn’t show off like the others but that’s fine, he did his best! The commentary and seeing you smile or laugh was much better anyways
“So there’s this adorable little penguin that owns this restaurant and- Oh! I don’t know if we can do two players though... ahh, okay, just one moment I can find something for us to do together. Unless you know a better way to pass the time, hm? 😏 “
Probably used to lightly harass people on Neopets and Club Penguin into buying him all the top tier fancy items btw. Not because he couldn’t afford it. Just because <3
Tumblr media
Beelzebub:
"Oh, MC, did you need help clearing a level or something? I dunno how much I can help out but let me see what I can do."
He'll probably mention once or twice that he's not the best at gaming and things like that, but he'll definitely do his best.
Is really confused on why you wouldn’t just want to go ask Levi or someone else though because of this, but he’s not the type to think about it for too long
You came to him so the two of you could hang out together, so he’s gonna do just that. It’s very simple
When he says he’s not the best he..... really isn't though. at least in the way he approaches gaming
Beel would load up a new file of Animal Crossing for the 1st time and ask MC “Okay. who do I kill?” *Tom Nook appears on screen* “Oh, do I fight him?” No Beel, please don’t fight the old Tanuki, he’s just trying to make a living via questionable means.
MC ponders what fighting Tom Nook would actually be like though. Just for a split second.
We already know Beel’s the type to just brute force it. I mean, he saved over poor Levi’s save files and used the wrong weapons in the anime, God save him <3
I think he’s the rare oddity where he can still make it through a game despite all this.
“Beel, How did you beat this boss? I’ve been trying for so long! No matter how many healing items i use I can never get past a certain point.”
Him: “Healing item?”
“Y-You. You did heal throughout it right? Beel?”
The way he games gives most people heart attacks tbh
Worried about whether or not he’d be enthralled by the Cooking Mama games because yeah sure it’s food related, but another part of me feels like Mama would remind him of Barbatos with her unwavering wide grin.
He can hear Barbatos’ scolding in the background the moment he messes up slicing these onions... the pressure might get to him oh no
Would he become enticed by the food on screen!?!?! Please dont eat MCs nintendo DS Beel
Tumblr media
Belphegor:
Gaming? he just wants to take a nap with you, maybe rest his eyes for a bit, but ah well what is it that you expect from him.
He’s more of a watcher + cheerer rather than a player
Think of the little karaoke minigame in Yakuza games where you can clap and make noise on the sidelines. That's him, he’s cheering you on while you play instead
because otherwise, Belphie is absolutely terrible at gaming im so sorry.
He tries to offer advice at first, but unlike Beel, he pretty much never understands what the hell he’s actually looking at until MC gives a basic synopsis of what they have to do in-game
But like I said, I feel like no matter what game it is you’re playing he’d be invested enough
Ah is MC going on a treacherous quest and battling their way up the ranks? The story is very engaging to him if you’re equally invested
Is MC starting their new life as a farmer with a big abandoned plot of land? You should get all those rocks out of the way first then... Oh, no they’re getting the crops planted first? Smart thinking actually.
He backseat games a little bit ngl. “Shouldn’t you go over to The Health Center was it? Your rival is waiting for you, right?” He leans on your shoulder with a yawn. “Wait, doesn’t that mean there’ll be a big fight soon!? Mmmm, maybe you should train some more, MC... Go over there!”
Otherwise if he has the chance to actually play at the same time with you it takes some time for him to remember all the controls and the map. You’re more than likely going to have to carry him in whatever game youre playing. Even if it’s a peaceful one. Sorry.  🙏
Belphie keeps walking off the cliffs on accident.
He used his healing item at full health on accident.
He’s lost. It was only a few seconds but you lost Belphie in game.
Please help him understand the controls MC, I can’t watch this go on any longer.
Little fun fact: he always ends up liking the OSTs for the games you play. So sure, he can pretty much fall asleep on command, but so many of those OSTs are very pretty or relaxing. So he puts them in his playlist when he wants to have a particularly good nights rest (and maybe think of you)

Obey Me wants to do Too Much and in an attempt to please the fans, it’s failing them instead.
Based on the post @1abbie7 made regarding the common complaints players seem to have with OM and its choices as a game. I just wanted to put my two (very long) cents in while looking at OM as if it is the gacha game it truly wishes it was.
MAJOR DISCLAIMER: this post is based on my experiences and is not a reflection of the community as a whole. These are observations and personal thoughts and should be taken with a grain of salt. Also, please feel free to discuss or correct me if I have any of the information wrong. For reference, I’ve reached 5-3 in OM!, 9-2 in AL, and 6-17 in AK.
Now that we have that out of the way… ON TO WHAT I WANT TO SAY. Buckle in folks, I’m rambly and I have a lot to say. Obey Me! Has a lot of potential, and it’s a shame that a lot of things Solmare does are not helping it grow in a way that it could.
So this post is MOSTLY going to be comparing Obey Me!’s (OM) gacha and gaming experience with Azur Lane (AL)  and Arknights (AK) since I feel like both those games have a very good f2p model and don’t really have any PvP/Ranking system that affects the main gameplay. I will have other examples from other games that I’ve played before as well.
Ignoring any issues with storytelling and plot holes, since I feel like there are people who are much more qualified to speak upon that than I am, I’m just going to look at the more game and gacha experience.
EVENT SPACING, GAMEPLAY, STAMINA REFRESHES:
OM! As far as I know, is marketed as an Otome game with gacha and … Rhythm??? Game??? Elements? (I’m not quite sure how to even describe the ‘battle’ stages tbh) to break up the story stages. With the battle stages being the main way you can farm for materials to power up your cards, the bottlenecks that are built into the game are surprisingly super frustrating.
OM! Does not have an auto battle option, but it does make up for it by allowing you to sweep the stage once you’ve received 3 stars. This does make resource farming much quicker, but this also means that your stamina will disappear faster than ice in a desert. Coupled with the fact that the battle stages don’t really have much interaction or strategy for a good portion of the beginning of the game, there’s no real replay value in trying for older stages unless they have the resource you want to farm.
I guess I can let this pass since interaction isn’t what’s really marketed, but it IS important to keep your audience logging in and eager to play. At Level 40-ish, my current stamina cap is around 70. WIth the average stamina cost of a regular stage being 5 AP, and the hard stages being 8. This means you’ve got 14 normal stages and less than 10 hard stages in a full bar of stamina. Assuming I log in twice a day to get the bonus AP, that’s really not a lot of stamina to work with and just enough to maybe get through my dailies.
Having that little stamina makes farming resources exceptionally difficult especially for the high requirements needed once you get about half-way through a devil tree. Add that to dealing with farming event points almost constantly, with your limited stamina pool, you’re pretty much forced to purchase extra stamina to meet the requirements to finish said events to get the rewards. Assuming you spend all of your daily Devil Point reward on Stamina, that’s only 180 stamina a day which makes for a really tight run IF you’re aiming to get everything in an event.
ADDITIONALLY, this is also the fact that events and new lessons don’t seem to be announced prior to them dropping. Almost every gacha  game I’ve played before will give you a few days notice before an event drops whether it be via Social media or through in-game mail. This is to mainly generate excitement and allows players some time to prepare, whether it be hoarding what stamina refreshes they have or saving premium currency for gachas to hopefully get the chase card/unit that they’re looking for. Not being able to prepare makes it difficult to stay engaged considering you CONSTANTLY have to have resources/stamina to partake in all the events and you can’t plan accordingly.
AK announcing the current event two days prior to it starting in game and on twitter:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AL’s announcement on the 12th, almost a week prior to it starting. Maintenance was on the 17th when the game reset.. (In game notices update regularly and I don’t have a screenshot of what it would look like since maintenance has already passed.)
Tumblr media
OM! basically giving people on twitter about 24 hours notice of a new event dropping followed by announcing that the new lessons are available on the day it drops:
Tumblr media
I understand that OM! Devs may want to keep the new cards a surprise to players. If stats and skills played a more prominent role in the game, maybe there would be a better way to tease these events to build up hype. As of right now though, it feels like a surprise slap in the face to force players to purchase currency in order to maintain that stamina requirement. IF Solmare is adamant about having back-to-back events, at least provide players with a roadmap or a calendar so they can pick and choose what’s important to them.
Just… Don’t let it become like the FEH calendar…
Tumblr media
Please, do not let it become like this.
In my opinion, it feels like OM! Has a bit of an identity crisis. It sorely wants to bank on the money making powers of a gacha game while also clinging to the claim that they’re an otome game revolving around the plot. It’s hard to really promote the plot when it’s locked behind a power requirement that a majority of players will not be able to reach.
With how difficult it is at the end game, players are most likely going to look for transcripts or screenshots of new lessons instead of playing the main storyline in order to save what little they have for the constant limited events. Either give the players time to recoup resources to prepare for your events so they can pull for all your new cards or lower the difficulty cap to give players the story you’re emphasizing so much.
Tl;dr: back-to-back events will burn out players and not announcing them prior does not allow players to prepare resources, forcing them to drop money on the game. The amount of stamina it takes to complete an event AND level your cards does not make it f2p friendly.
GACHA RATES AND PITY SYSTEM:
Call me spoiled, but I feel like OM! ‘S banner rates are too low. Consider the following image for the current banner pool:
Tumblr media
That’s a combined 1% to get your UR and that’s still not going to be guaranteed to get what you want. Consider the following rates from other games:
Azur Lane:
(Ultra Rare was a new rarity that was added with this new banner. Before that the highest rarity you could pull is a Super Rare)
Tumblr media
Arknights:
Tumblr media
Fire Emblem Heroes:
Tumblr media
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions
Tumblr media
For a game that’s always introducing new cards, you’d think that OM! Would maybe consider raising those rates so people won’t be so heartbroken when they don’t have enough currency for a 10 pull. (Especially if they have been spending what Devil Points they have on stamina to complete event stages) Yes, a majority of banners have bigger pools and  the chance for a specific 6*/UR/SSR is ultimately lower; but considering in OM!, you have stories and characterization locked behind devilgrams connected to these cards, the rates are pitifully low. At least in the other games listed, the units/cards/operators/ships aren’t tied to stories.
I will say, the pity system isn’t absolutely abysmal. Keep in mind though, this is based on the assumption that you’ve saved up for 100 pulls. Considering how difficult it is to save that much currency while being f2p 100 pulls per banner is a tall order and impossible without the help of goldie or somethin. The frequency of new cards along with the difficulty obtaining gacha currency creates an extremely predatory model of currency purchase. With no guarantee of when event banners will be rerun, you’re pretty SOL if you make it half way through this pity system and you’re sitting on shards you can’t use.
Tumblr media
Players will get tired of this model mega fast. Especially with these kinds of rates. Assuming that your luck is the worst on earth, you need 2,700 Devil Points to reach the pity breaker. That’s more than two packs worth of Devil Points. So we’re looking at over $160.00 USD to get a guaranteed UR. Seeing as new banners come what feels like every two weeks or so, you’re looking at over $300.00 USD a month JUST for the gacha. If OM! Was purely a gacha game without such a heavy emphasis on the characters and the stories/scenarios they unlock, I might be able to overlook it. However, since the cards themselves unlock cheats for events and outfits and devilgram scenarios, that’s a steep price to pay, so I kinda just have to say… Yikes.
Tl;Dr: For a game that has so much content tied to limited cards and events, gacha rates for OM! Feel too low. Pity system is average as long as you have the currency to complete all 100 pulls. The reason to purchase premium currency is predatory and likely will not be sustainable in the long run.
MONTHLY PACKS AND PREMIUM CURRENCY
So, we can agree that if you don’t have some cash on hand, it’s not going to be a real fun time to play OM! So, where do you spend your money? Let’s take a look at what they offer in terms of premium currency and how far that will get you. It’s also almost 3AM here and I’m losing my patience and filter, so excuse me if I sound more angry here than in the rest of the post.
So, here’s the basic Devil Point Shop for reference:
Tumblr media
If we equate Devil Points to stamina, you’re looking at about 100 stamina per dollar you spend. But let’s be real, Solmare makes their money off of gacha and them pretty pngs ‘cause y’all want those spicy devilgrams and sweet outfits for your secretary.
To even get a 10 pull, you’re looking at $22.00 USD worth of premium currency. (Why they didn’t make the $19.99 pack a full 10 pull is BEYOND me tbh.) Now most gacha players that I know who are willing to go all in on a specific banner will want to spend a pack, which means they’ll go for the most expensive option as it is the most bang for your buck. That’s an $80.00 pack for approximately 4 10 pulls and some change. Let’s compare that to the price of some Originite Prime from AK:
Tumblr media
It takes approximately 33 OP for one 10 pull in AK. 1 OP = 180 Orundum (currency used for gacha) Keeping this in mind,  if you don’t count the first time purchase bonus, at first glance, it’s overall more expensive to purchase this currency SOLELY for gacha purposes.
Here are the packs offered for AL:
Tumblr media
If you’re using gems to purchase the cubes needed for the gacha, it takes about 600 gems for 1 10 pull. One pack will net you about 8 10 pulls. Out of all the models we’ve looked at, this is honestly the most value for your dollar specifically for gacha purposes.
Take into consideration what the premium currency is used for. As stated above, 1 DP = 10 stamina. 1 OP = 1 Full stamina refresh in AK, so that’s a pretty equivalent exchange rate. (I won’t go into the AL stamina and gacha system since it differs too much from OM! To really make a good comparison.)
But, what else can DP do? A quick glance under the “Items” tab in the shop, you’ll see that it can also purchase Keys to read your devilgram stories (integral to your gaming experience), Demon Vouchers for summoning, Glow Sticks to help you in battle (Integral to gameplay), and consumables for your Surprise Guests to raise intimacy (arguably connected to gameplay). Compare this to what you can purchase with your OP outside of summoning currency in AK: Furniture (cosmetic) and Skins (Cosmetic). That’s it.
What I’m trying to say here is that Solmare has made DP the currency for so many things that affect the game itself. This subtly pressures the players to purchase DP in order to maintain the same quality of life that they might have experienced at the beginning of their gaming experience when the level ups came fast and when the rewards were plentiful for completing all the beginners quests.
“But wait!” you say. There’s ways to earn DP passively through dailies! You’re right! You’re given 18 DP per day for completing your dailies. That equates to 1 10 pull per 2 weeks if you’re diligent in keeping up with all your quests and log in daily. Comparatively, AK will give you 2,800 orundum per week for completing all your quests and the weekly annihilation runs, so just short of 1 full 10 pull in the game. However, AK gives you the specific currency used exclusively for gacha. This leaves your OP relatively free to be used for stamina refreshes, or you can hoard them for when new skins come out, or you can use a few to supplement your missing orundum for a banner pull.
Without knowing what could be coming up next in terms of events and banners, OM! Makes it very difficult for you to hold onto your DP due to the sheer stamina sink that events can be. Unless you’re really good at optimizing your resources, you’re likely going to be spending DP on things outside of gacha, making it difficult to save those 20 pulls in a month.
Tl:dr: DP is used for too many things that aid in gameplay which leaves less for gacha, forcing players to make a choice between moving forward in harder story stages or unlocking card specific stories.
Alright, but let’s say you don’t have enough for packs, but you still want to support a game. You don’t wanna whale ‘cause you got bills to pay, but maybe you’ve got enough to be a minnow or a very sad and small dolphin. For this, most people turn to those delicious monthly packs. Usually, the monthly packs or subscriptions are really a good bang for your buck. Usually, the bonuses that these packs provide will add up to a value that is much more than your initial investment in them. So, let’s look at what OM!, AK and AL offer, shall we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let’s break down what the VIP gives you since there’s quite a bit and it’s presented in a less condensed format. So, at first glance, I have to ask… “VIP login bonus?” What does that even mean? When you look at the details the description is as follows:
Tumblr media
I’m sorry, what? This vagueness will not help sell this pack to me. Most monthly packs will give you premium currency right away that is equivalent to the amount that you paid. You can see that both AK and AL list this and also let you know exactly what else you get for the next 30 days. There’s no vagueness in what these packs provide.
Next thing to look at:
Tumblr media
I’m sorry. What? I don’t understand why a max AP increase is the choice for a VIP perk here. This is banking on the fact that you’re going to be playing at max efficiency and will be under max stamina in order to take advantage of the refill timer giving you the extra AP. Why OM! Doesn’t just give you the stamina in your mail is beyond my comprehension. This is just saying “yeah, you could have more stamina if you’re playing this game and making sure you’re below your cap. I … no. Just why.
NEXT PERK:
Tumblr media
No. This is useless for higher level players. Perks should benefit all players, not just your new players that you’ve tricked into spending money ‘cause this pack is only $9.99 a month. I’m so angry at this I don’t want to look at this anymore. NEXT.
Tumblr media
This is a fine perk. Paying for easier passive resources is fine. I don’t have anything to say.. Next.
Tumblr media
Oh thank fuck. An actual good perk. Passively getting the harder to get resources which cuts down on your already limited farming? Hell yeah.  Also fine in my book. NEXT.
Tumblr media
“Spend money to spend more money! Because we know this monthly deal ain’t shit!” is all I’m getting out of this.
Finally, I need to talk about this:
Tumblr media
So… you’re telling me that for $10.00, I’m going to get $6.00 worth of DP and I won’t get the full value unless I STAY subscribed? If I cancel and then resubscribe, will that go back to 60 DP when I subscribe later? Why would you do this other than to give your players less than what they deserve? These packs are supposed to be designed to give you the value of your purchase and some extras as incentive to keep playing and coming back to pay. This just… as a first impression leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
Also, let’s talk about the fact that you’re BILLED MONTHLY? Listen, I get that they’re trying to be ‘convenient’ so you can set this up and forget about it and reap the benefits, right? It’s about the same cost as a Netflix subscription, no big deal. But listen, that means they’re also banking on you to forget you even have this subscription if you’re a casual player and you’re going to continue to give them money Stop that Solmare. Bad.
I’m too tired to look at sales. Just as a quick glance. the discounts and deal are meh at best.
Tl:dr: Monthly pack is underwhelming and likely not worth it. Automatically being billed monthly is the worst thing I’ve seen all week and this was written in 2020.
SOME SUGGESTIONS? IT’S NOT ALL BAD, I PROMISE.
So, how can Solmare improve? OM! Is honestly one of the most stylish otome games I’ve seen and has a lot of potential to continue growing its player base if the devs directed their energies in the right direction. Right now, OM! Suffers due to the fact that it’s trying to do too much in too little time. For a game that’s less than a year old, it’s pushed out enough content in the last three months to last six. Dialing back the gacha and collecting elements to focus on the story and a slower pace would really help, if you ask me.
OM! Really needs to slow its roll. Events are losing their impact from being rolled out at such a quick pace on top of current pop quizzes, new lessons and banners. Every week I feel like I’m watching the more hardcore players yell at having too much to do when everything is layered on top of one another. This is not inherently a bad thing. Having a lot to do keeps the player base engaged and excited for your game.
The problem arises when you’re not giving your players any time to recover from events and just throw things at them all the time. Finding a good balance between events and downtime is difficult and it likely won’t happen overnight, but it would be nice to see them maybe give a week or two to really let the impact of events sink in and let players really find time to nurture or use the new cards/rewards they just got.
First step in the right direction would be giving more notice prior to events and lessons. Just something more than 24 hours before, or the day of. Not providing a notice makes it feel like these things are being rushed.
If Solmare is adamant about keeping the pace it’s set up, then give us a roadmap or event calendar of when new lessons or pop quizzes are coming. They can keep the details of the lessons and quizzes limited until closer to the actual dates, but at least this will let players prioritize where they want to put their resources.
Gacha rates for URs being raised to 2% would likely make a reasonable difference. When so much story and cosmetic content is tied to a UR or SSR cards along with their frequency, it serves to likely benefit them to make it more accessible to players. Locking so much behind luck and a paywall makes it more obvious that they only care about the money that they can get from the diehard collectors in the game.
Make skins obtainable by DP. Stop locking them behind event cards. Allow players to have easier access to cosmetic features. It’s a less predatory model than what they’ve got right now. Granted, Lonely Devil has sort of helped this issue considering they’ve grouped event reruns all in one place to play at your leisure, and if I remember some of the event cards have skins tied to them. Still, just… idk sell the skin on its own. It makes more sense than to pray that you roll that UR with the one 10 pull you have.
Make resources easier to obtain passively. I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but limited resources make this game difficult to enjoy. You’re barely through doing one thing to level up a card and you’re met with a giant wall of requirements for the next step. AL has commissions and the dorm, AK has the base. OM! Has Jobs, which gets you grimm and some items if you’re lucky, but it definitely needs expansion considering the power checkpoints late game.
Hell, just making some of those DP purchasable items actually farmable might help.
Get a publisher to work with you. I know Solmare has been around the block and this isn’t the first otome game they’ve made, but I definitely think working with a publisher who’s familiar with the ins and outs of a proper gacha helping them will benefit them. Having a publisher will help ensure that there’s adequate funding for the game to be as good as it can be. Not only that, you’re looking at a better social media presence which the player base can interact with and get more attached to.
Literally, having a publisher could solve so many pacing and announcement issues since they would be in charge of when events come out and likely has a better eye on how players react. This way, Solmare can concentrate on making the content as quality as they can and not inundate people with a new lesson or event as soon as it’s done.
Tl:dr: Solmare, please get a proper publisher so they can help with quality control and balancing your game. Please. I’m begging you. You have so much going for you please don’t let this game die before it turns a year old.
Ok. it’s 4 AM and I spent most of the day writing this post. If you’ve made it this far, congrats and I’m sorry for being so rambly. I’m so sorry if none of this made any sense in the end.  I’m sure there are points that I’ve missed out on like stage replayability and a more engaging battle mode, and the lack of any sort of meta which makes the lower rarity cards you pull feel completely useless…  but uh… I can’t think anymore and I haven’t had time to farm in my horny ship girl game. Feel free to let me know your thoughts or discuss!
Thanks for your time and I hope y’all have a good day. Happy romancing some demon boys!

𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: scouting dilemma 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: hyodo juza/reader 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: sfw 𝐰𝐜: 1.7k words
𝐚𝐧: guess who was inspired by the 2020 gem heist? wrote a dumb little thing dedicated to all my fallen comrades bc juza won’t come home to them after the reset- sorry to the requests I have yet to fulfill! year 2 ages btw~
Tumblr media
This was the moment you’ve been waiting for. You managed to save up a massive amount of gems, waiting to be spent on a banner with your best boy in it. For months, your fingers itched to pull but you were loyal (with a few caving exceptions) to the character who got you into the game in the first place.
When the developers finally announced a banner with him in it, an SSR of best boy in a summer outfit no less, it was as if fate decided to tell you now was the moment to splurge strike.
9:58 pm.
Staring at your phone screen, you made sure everything was prepared before you could summon. You decided to do your first pull at 10 pm (his favourite number was 10), and surrounded your phone with a summon circle made entirely out of candies still in their wrappers.
9:59 pm.
You sent your prayers to the gacha gods, counting down the seconds until the clock struck-
10:00 pm.
With a shriek, you nearly ruined your summon circle formation of sweets as you scrambled to your phone, clicking the bright, shiny button that had tempted you endlessly.
“Yes, I’m sure I want to spend! Come home, come home, come home…” you chanted, unable to decide whether you should close your eyes until the final results or keep them wide open.
Choosing the latter, you gritted your teeth at the sequence of cards arriving.
R, Event R, R, R, Dupe SR, R, R, R, R, Event SR.
Suppressing the scream that wanted to escape your throat, you tried to laugh it off. At least you got two of the event cards…? Maybe it would have been better to wait until 10:10 pm?
An SNS notification popped up at the top of your screen, and from the little summary, you could tell you were gonna get upset at the contents. Checking the chat, your mutual quickly followed up her message with a screencap of your best boy. Coming home to her.
You quickly sent your response before promptly returning to the game, ‘asdfghjkl im happy for u but like also muting u rn :’< brb soon hopefully yeet need to retrieve my boi from the game’s clutches cya’
Despite your initial optimism, as the pulls kept going, the lower your gem count, the worse your mood became.
Should… should you stop right now? Banner really said no rights to best boy, huh? Sure you were able to fully merge a bunch of SRs and even the event R and SR cards, but not once did he come home? Even his sworn rival’s initial SSR came home if only to spite you or him or both.
Mentally exhausted, you decided to sleep. Maybe your luck would be better tomorrow?
Tumblr media
When you walked into the room with a frown visible on your face, Juza immediately knew something was wrong.
From even before he got together with you, he was always sensitive to the different expressions you made, and by association your emotions— to the little smile on your face as you ate desserts together or the eyebrow furrow-pout combo you did when the professor said something you didn’t agree with. He’d never say how fun it was, seeing the different faces you’d make.
However, while those were cute, this just made him worry.
He’d really rather not fight anyone, but if he has to beat up someone…
Juza found himself distracted during class, unable to stop himself from constantly looking at you every few minutes. With a faint peach staining his cheeks, he slipped his hand underneath the desk to grasp your own.
“… you okay?” he said, voice low and quiet as to not catch anyone else’s attention. The look on your face turns a little softer, even throwing him a quick smile but he knows you well enough to spot the traces of sadness still present.
You don’t reply, squeezing his hand back as you finally tried to pay attention to the professor.
He sighed, slowly releasing your hand from beneath the table. He’ll find a way to make you feel better later, but for now, he had to take notes— for the both of you, it looked.
Tumblr media
It’s not every day that Juza does most of the talking, but that just so happened to be the case today. He’s getting restless, stuck between actively wanting to help you out with whatever you needed or just sticking by you and letting you overcome whatever’s troubling you on your own.
You’ll talk when you want to, he knew that, but even still he wanted to be more useful to you. Do you want him to just keep talking to help you take your mind off things? Do you want to rant to him so he can listen? Do you want him to get you something? He’s not the best at giving advice, but if you needed it he’d do his best.
He doesn’t know what to do. You’re responding to him, but your mind is all the way elsewhere.
The next thing he knew, he’s getting a spoonful of his frozen dessert and pressing it against your lips.
You get startled from your thoughts when a sudden icy temperature meets your mouth. You opened your mouth, cringing slightly at the cool before finally enjoying the shaved ice dessert.
While it wasn’t uncommon for Juza to let you taste the food he ate and vice versa, he was usually more reserved, too shy to feed you in public.
‘He must have been worried,’ you thought to yourself if he had to do that just to catch your attention. You immediately shifted your thoughts from the game to Juza, already about to apologise for troubling him before he interrupted you.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, and even though he had a scowl on his face, he looked at you with tight and worried eyes.
He knew you played games on your phone, but it was still a bit embarrassing to admit that you were upset for such a long duration because of your best boy not coming home. However, Juza deserved to know, so you pushed away your hesitance before explaining the whole fiasco to him.
Juza doesn’t get it entirely. He’s bordering between relief and confusion— on one hand, at least no one wanted to hurt you or fight you or anything; on the other hand, a 2D guy got you upset?
The concept isn’t completely foreign to him, what with Itaru-san and even Settsu constantly gaming, but usually it was his roommate being irritating and gloating while the salaryman got frustrated, eventually passing his phone to Sakuya.
He’s honestly shell-shocked that you’re upset, so even though he doesn’t understand why it’s such a big deal he’ll do what he can to make you feel better. He’s not the best at comforting people, he can never find the right words… but he’s good at listening.
He placed his hand on top of yours, grateful you don’t point it out verbally or he might actually combust. He can only hope the two of you are seated secluded enough that no one comes by.
Something’s starting to bother him though. The more he listens to you, the more he’s conflicted— if you’re dedicating that much of your… gems (?) to this guy he gets why you’re upset. Another part of him wonders what’s so great about this specific guy.
He’s not upset nor is he jealous, he’s just… figuring out what specific traits you like in this guy. For future reference. Who knew, maybe he’d get to play a role similar to the character you like so much?
“Why do you like him so much, anyway?” He asked, staring intently at you.
Your attitude quickly changed from being upset to being excited to talk about your favourite character.
“He’s just so kind and thoughtful! A total gap moe, you wouldn’t expect him to be so family-oriented because of his appearance but he totally is!” you began, barely catching a break to breathe before continuing on, “plus he didn’t start off as the strongest? But he’s constantly trying his best you just want to root for him and care for him?”
Unexpectedly, Juza finds himself a little flustered, though he’s unsure of why when you’re only describing a character. Perhaps it was the look on your face while you talked?
“Plus, he looks a lot like you! Obviously, I need him to come home, right?” you exclaimed, hitting him straight in the heart with your crinkled eyes and a beautiful smile.
The hand that was comforting you a while ago and gently rubbing patterns onto your skin stilled. You noticed right away, hoping you didn’t say anything too weird during your rant.
“Juza?”
He’s silent for a while, unsure of what to do and ultimately deciding to say the first thing that popped up in his head.
“… then why’d you need him to come home if I’m already-“
When he heard you squeal he stopped himself from continuing whatever he was going to say. Did you hear him? Dumb question, of course, you did!
You covered your face with your hands, unsuccessfully hiding the strawberry red colouring your face, and screamed internally. You can’t see how Juza is reacting but you just heard a bang on the table?
‘Juza? Who told you to- istg I’ll have you arrested for-‘
After a few moments, you’re the one who ultimately breaks the silence, knowing neither of you had enough will to point out the warm flecks that still remained on both of your faces.
“We should get going. Our class is all the way in another building,” you said, slowly standing up from your seat.
“… ‘kay.”
You’re not holding hands while walking, but if he noticed the frequency of your hand grazing his he doesn’t let you know.
Reaching the midpoint between your classroom and his, you turn to face him before splitting off in the hallway. You look to see if the coast was clear, and to Juza’s surprise, you enveloped him into a warm embrace, quick but heartfelt. Neither of you saw each other’s expressions, but Juza wondered if your heart raced just as fast as his did.
“Thank you for making me feel better… I love you,” you whisper the last part, before untangling yourself from him and speed walking away to your classroom. You miss the way Juza looks back at you, body frozen but face a mixture of shock and longing and love.

Venti really makes serotinin go brrrr; if you ever download Genshin, only if you want tho, let me know so we can play co-op! :D
I know right?! Venti is just so... idk adorable? friendly? I don’t know how to put it but it’s definitely good vibes that he radiates and I would like to hang with him.
I wouldn’t mind playing Genshin Impact, hell it looks like fun and I really want to get into playing video games again.
However my ultimate problem with it it that it is a Gacha Game. It’s essentially Lootboxing, just under a different name and luck based apparently. And from what I’ve been reading is that it’s makes you pay money to get rare five star characters/weapons and that’s what ultimately worries more. Yes it’s a way to make money and it’s a miracle that the game is Free-to-Play, but ultimately the idea of buying stuff in-game that has a low chance of getting anyways is scummy.
Maybe it’s because my country of Australia has such strict Consumer Laws, and that the ACCC is notoriously amazing for their crackdown on many, many, many video game lawsuits, court dismissals and their dedication for protecting Consumer Rights overall. I know it’s a free to play game but honestly any game that breaches Australian Consumer Law will be targeted without question.
Now I am aware that you CAN play the game without having to pay but it’s that FOMO effect that draws people into burning their wallets. It doesn’t really help that the gambling industry is BIG in my country (However it has been under-fire in recent years especially with accusations of money laundering and other criminal activities). I get you have to monetize the game somehow but... personally I find the idea of paying ABSURD amounts of money for a rare character is just wrong to me. I get it’s gonna be there regardless but it’s just... idk unfair? And also unintentionally predatory on people who are trying to recover from gambling addictions.
Also I’ve heard recently that some people’s accounts are getting hacked and compromised and honestly as someone who is cautious about my security, I think it would be best to wait out a little. I usually do two factor authentication but hearing this is really worrying.
Don’t get me wrong I actually would love to play the game! It seems like a lot of fun and I think the art style is really cute! It’s just that the things surrounding it are turning me away from playing it. But if I do, I’d be more than happy to do co-op, plus the fact that it supports cross-platform play is kinda amazing.
Again all of these are my mixed feelings and maybe I might not play it at all. If people love the game and want to spend money on it too, then that’s their choice but it’s the amount and frequency I worry about. Hopefully they realise this a put a limit on how many things you can buy within x amount of days as to steer away people from gambling or perhaps - and this is a BIG IF - that they DROP the whole Gacha thing entirely and just have the rare characters be unlockable/achieved by doing certain things or quests or having to meet certain requirements.
But that’s enough of me rambling. Don’t let my opinions let you and others, and particularly fans from preventing you from playing the game. If it makes you happy that’s great! It’s just that I find the circumstances surrounding Genshin Impact to weigh it down from being something good or even great. But who knows, things can change and maybe they do alter it entirely, you never really know tbh and with the amount of updates and new characters coming out I think that’s a decent possibility.

Bittersweet
Pairing: Sirius/Celeste
Word Count: 1789
Summary: Once a year girls all across Cradle will rush to give the person they love most a gift. She’s had years to do it and this is her last chance.
A/N: I wrote this forever ago, when they were running the last school event in the Japanese app, and I get the feeling Sirius won’t come home in the gacha because i’m ignoring him. So here’s a small token of my love. Celeste has been aged up in this to just a year younger than Sirius only because they’d never be in school at the same time otherwise.
-
Emotions were running high all through the school. Not only with the girls who were excited and anxious to give their gifts, but the boys who were just as anxious and excited to receive them. Then there were the teachers and their indulgence and turning a blind eye to the entire madness of the day.
           Most of the teachers.
Walking with more calm than she felt, Celeste didn’t glance toward Professor Tweedle but it was impossible to miss him. His gaze was heavy as it moved over the students in the hallway. He wasn’t saying anything but he didn’t need to. His mere presence was enough to keep everyone in line. At least while they were in eye sight.
The stairwell was a slow descent back into madness and her heart was racing before she reached the ground floor. The halls were crowded here and overwhelming with the noise. She ignored it as best she could; her goal wasn’t in here after all. Outside would be better, less full, and it was where she’d find him.
Her heart fluttered amidst the pounding. She had finally worked up the nerve to do this, to give him a Valentine’s present. Mostly because this was her last chance to do it. He was in his final year and she doubted she would see him much after. In a near panic, she had spent the last week making chocolates. The weekend at home had seen her at the tea house, using the extensive kitchens there to get them perfect. Or as perfect as she could. She’d been assured the samples tasted wonderful but it did nothing for her nerves.
She’d done something different than what was usually given, but now she wasn’t sure she should have. There was no helping it now and the only other option was not to give them.
Shoulders slumping, she stepped outside and shaded her eyes. It was an unusually warm day for February and everyone was taking advantage of it. Students were all over the courtyard, enjoying the weather as much as they could.
If she was lucky, he would be alone. Hopefully most had given their presents during the morning or early break. She only had the one to give so she hadn’t worried about it until now.
Celeste slipped her hand inside her bag to be sure it was still there. Of course it was. She’d checked so many times over the course of the day that it was impossible for them to not be there. But she still sighed in relief when her fingers brushed the box. Now all she had to do was find him.
She moved away from the main building. There were tables out near some of the trees. She sometimes saw him there on lunch with his friends. It was her best chance currently. Maybe her only one.
“Stop,” she murmured. She would try her best at doing this and try not to bring herself down before she even had that chance.
But disappointment filled her as she rounded the corner and saw he wasn’t at the tables. It was no surprise, however, since they were already full of other students. If he wasn’t here though, her chances of finding him alone were slim and she wasn’t sure she’d be brave enough to give it to him in a crowd. If she could even find him to begin with.
Sighing, Celeste slumped back against the school. She had been so sure he would be here. He was always outside when the weather turned nice. Had he maybe gotten caught indoors by a long line of girls waiting to do exactly like her? She hadn’t factored that into her plans and she should have. She knew she wasn’t the only one that wanted to give him a gift. But where would she even begin to look for him? The hallways were packed with students and, even if he stood nearly a head taller than so many of the others, he wouldn’t be easy to find. Looking for him would be a search in vain. He could be anywhere in the school and there was no guarantee she would find him before the break was done.
A heavy weight settled on her heart and she pulled out the small box. There were only half a dozen chocolates inside, the best of the batch, but now her pride in finishing them was turning to sadness. She shouldn’t have waited so late to try to give them. There wouldn’t be any time later to do it. She’d missed her chance.
She huffed out a laugh. She’d waited far longer than just this lunch break. Quietly pining after him for years and only working up the nerve to try now in his last year? It was rife with ways it could go wrong. And now it had.
Her thumb rubbed against the blue ribbon holding the box shut. What did she do now? These were meant for him and she couldn’t give them to someone else. She wasn’t going to eat them herself, she preferred a far sweeter chocolate, and it felt almost pathetic to eat them. But she couldn’t keep them, couldn’t keep the reminder of her failure. So what to do?
Disposing of them was the only option at this point. The thought of all her hard work going to the trash broke her heart. What would she tell her mother, who had helped and encouraged her so much during all of this? She couldn’t lie to her, Cordelia always saw through her, and she didn’t want to disappoint her. Biting her lip, Celeste wondered if her mother would agree if she asked to never speak of this again.
She kept the box tightly in hand as she pushed away from the wall. There was nothing to do about it now and she still needed to eat her lunch. She’d tried and-“Oh!” she gasped as she turned the corner and promptly ran into someone. “I’m so sorry!”
Large hands gripped her arms when she stumbled back, helping steady her. “Careful, little lady. Are you alright?”
Celeste’s heart hit her toes at not only the voice but the nickname. She was slow to look up and her voice failed her completely as she met violet eyes.
Sirius frowned at her when she didn’t say anything but another voice spoke before he could.
“Did you break her? You’re twice the poor girl’s size and you ran right into her. Nearly over her. Being head of house doesn’t give you the right to bowl people over.”
Sirius’ eyes narrowed as he looked at the speaker. “I didn’t bowl her over. I’ve got her, Lance.”
His hands were still on her and she knew she was going to start blushing soon if that didn’t change.
“You hit her hard enough she can’t speak.”
His concerned frown returned to her. “You did hit me rather hard,” he agreed.
“Don’t put the blame on her. Just because you can’t control your hulking self-”
           “Lance, shut it.”
A startled laugh slipped out of her. She shared classes with Lancelot and had never heard anyone talk to him like that.
But his frown melted into a smile at the sound. “There,” Sirius said, rubbing her arms before letting her go. “You’re alright?”
She finally nodded. “Yes, I’m fine.”
His smile widened and she realised it was a little lopsided. She’d never been close enough to see that before. “Good. I’d hate to be the reason you couldn’t give someone those.”
Those? Oh! The chocolates! She’d clutched them to her chest instinctively after he’d grabbed her and promptly forgotten about them.
“Come on, Sirius. Harr’s waiting for you. Do you think you can manage not to run anyone else over?”
He rolled his eyes but nodded at Lancelot. He gave her another smile and said, “Good luck, little lady.”
He was leaving? No! “Sirius!” she blurted before he’d fully moved past her.
He froze, twisting to look at her with a puzzled expression. “Is something wrong?”
She heard the shift in his voice, the concern coming from the student that was the head of her dorm and that wasn’t what she wanted. Lancelot was looking at her as well and it felt like too much, but she had to do it. She had to! “They’re for you,” she said, her voice turning shy as she held out the box to him. “I made them for you.”
Sirius blinked at her then the slim box. His expression made her heart quiver and realise how many girls had probably already given him gifts through the day. Was he tired of it? Did he even like getting any of them? Maybe this was a bad idea. Was there a way to take back the offer without looking like a fool?
Her hands began to tremble when he turned fully to her. “You made them for me?”
She nodded, giving him a shy smile. “They’re a little different from the usual chocolate,” she apologized. Or explained. She didn’t know what she was doing. “Not as sweet. I hope that’s okay.”
His expression had been open and friendly before, but she couldn’t read him now. Had she overstepped? Did he like normal chocolate instead? Was trying to be unique going to ruin this? “Bittersweet?” he asked.
It was her turn to blink. He knew what they were? Did most guys know what they were? They weren’t exactly popular at this time of year. Or ever. “Yes.”
Sirius glanced at the box again before her heart leapt as he reached for it. There was no stopping the blush as his fingers brushed hers and she nearly dropped the chocolate. But he took them with another smile. Just as lopsided but softer than before. “Thank you, Celeste.”
He knew her name? He knew her name?! She had to take a second to find her voice and she knew her cheeks had to be glowing now. “Y-You’re welcome,” she squeaked and hated herself for it.
When his smile widened at the noise, the corners of his eyes crinkling, she knew she had to go.
“I hope you like them,” she said in a rush and turned away.
Whatever he said was lost to the sound of her heart pounding in her ears. She didn’t slow as she walked away, needing to get away. She’d done it! She’d actually done it! And he knew her name!
Pressing a hand to her chest, she knew there was no calming her racing pulse. The excitement filling the school was pouring into her now. It didn’t matter if nothing ever came of it. She’d managed to do it and that was enough for her.

(Picture taken from @Spindash54 on Twitter.) KHUx is my favorite gacha game to complain about and I know a lot of people share that sentiment because it doesn't have to be that way. There was a time I actually enjoyed playing this game. However, I want to address an issue concerning the complaints I've seen and hopefully encourage people to set their priorities straight. What I see below the KHUx official tweets are mostly problems that have little to no relevance. People are upset about VIP buyers getting mediocre medals and avatar/pet parts. They are mad we are not getting everything JP did (the picture above being posted below every single tweet). They are complaining about being done with event boards. I'm not saying they are invalid or shouldn't be addressed but it seems those fans are sweating the small stuff while completely overlooking issues which have been around for ages. I know people get tired of SE not addressing them but I cannot help but wonder why people have the stamina to always mention the stuff above again and again but won't talk about real issues. Let's talk business here from the standpoint of someone who plays both versions daily since the release of the Japanese version and who has even put quite a bit of money into this game. (Not whale standards, but still more than 300$.) ● The balance of the game has completely gone nuts. Quests are either so easy that there's no challenge anymore or so hard that even those buying the WJE cannot finish them. There's often no in-between anymore, no way to turtle your way through. You need the strongest and newest medals with the best traits to clear all objectives. ● Regarding the above, nearly all core mechanics are based on RNG (i.e. luck). I have nothing against the gacha aspect for medal pulls, but traits have become the most important factor and they are RNG and 70% are useless, with the useful ones being the rarest. That might not be so bad if the powercreep wasn't so drastic. You basically amass medals and finally get some good traits and poof - the medals are useless again. I have over 1000 medals which are basically just subslot fodder or there for collection purposes. And that's not even the worst aspect. If you do finally get one of the good medals outside their respective banners, you can't even be happy about them because they are essentially worthless without traits, except for lower tier PvP perhaps. ● The sheer amount of useless medals you get showered with. I'm not talking about medal draws but about Cids, Brooms, Fantasia Mickey Bs, Magic Mirrors, Blue Fairies, Tier 7 Dual Meow Wows and useless skills. I know, I know. Two years ago we were whining about being granted Brooms but ever since 7* medals have become a standard while pulling, all of the above medals have ceased functionality. And if that wasn't the worst of it, we still get them shoved down our throat at every turn. I never thought there would come a day where I'd prefer HDLs and Chip and Dale over Brooms. It isn't even a problem between JP and global anymore but something which affects both versions equally. Why the heck doesn't it get adjusted? The PVE/Coliseum boards still provide us the same useless skills as 3 years ago, there's a DAILY Cid quest and we still get them as rewards for events and quests and we get showered with Magic Mirrors and Brooms when 7* medals are the norm for new medals and every 7* medal is fully guilted by default. Do you know how many stacks of Magic Mirrors I have? 23! Over 2000 Magic Mirrors I can't use. I am selling Blue Fairy Stacks for Tier 1-4 because I have nothing to evolve anymore and my subslots don't even need another Tier 4 medal. I have two stacks of M&Bs and 3 Broom stacks and I'm starting to use them on irrelevant HSC and event medals from 2 years ago. I recently sold the equivalent of 3000 Cids because I have nothing to use them on! ● Events and the daily aspects have become repetitive and boring because the rewards are the ones mentioned above. People do not need another Cid. We don't want another broom. We need gems, HDLs, Chip & Dales and jewels. ● They haven't caught us up to the story even though everything else is. Issues get burried by short-term solutions which temporarily raise the overall mood (like a speed-up option or draw tickets) but nothing ever gets fixed for good. Instead we get another RNG option added, because why the heck not? The unlucky people who can't spend thousands of Dollars on a game which does nothing to return the investments can stay behind. (That even includes the weekly WJE buyers because it hardly makes a difference.) I am not complaining about VIP getting more than the rest. VIP buyers should feel they are getting their share for the atrocious price of 15$. But even VIP buyers cannot finish every event anymore because it doesn't improve their luck with necessary traits. The game has nothing to do with skill or strategy anymore. I am not expecting strategy levels of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, but 2-3 years ago we could actually work our way around enemies with different medals and setups. Nowadays you can only win when you slap the newest medals onto your Keyblades with the best traits (i.e. all of them needing ADD, GDD and EA) which is impossible if you didn't draw trait medals galore with them or pulled a medal which currently provides no possibility to obtain trait medals. And better medals come nearly monthly with all the rest becoming useless. Why are people whining about cosmetic stuff first instead of addressing the real problems? I am not saying I wouldn't want this accessory or that, but I want improvements first! What worth has a Nick & Judy medal in the age of Supernova+ medals, except for collection puposes? It's the reason I stopped investing real money months ago. But since it's rude just to complain without offering any methods, here are some ideas which would be simple to implement. ● Offer a quest for farming HDLs effectively. With how many we need, it really doesn't help anyone if not even VIP members get EXP medals. ● Update PVE rewards and remove the skills from the objectives of early quests. We are at the point of having ATK IX Max, so giving out an ATK V or VI Max monthly really shouldn't be an issue or would diminish board sales while helping newcomers out as well. ● Instead of Brooms, Blue Fairies Magic Mirrors and Cids, start developing new helpful support medals. A very good example: the creation of universal trait medals with a specific trait (mostly ADD, GDD and EA) attached. They don't have to be handed out like candy but it would aid so many people if we could use trait medals which are not bound to a specific medal and are not providing a useless trait in 80% of the time because you simply don't have that luck. With how quickly the current meta is replaced, it shouldn't be too much to ask. ● Offer more diverse and actually useful event rewards. Back in the day event medals were useful. Maybe not top tier, but you could manage to get through some events. You have no idea how much I used the HPO medal to turtle my way through tough events. This isn't possible anymore. We have to defeat everything in three turns at most to get all objectives. And we get trait medals as rewards for medals we need to purchase with jewels (like the Organization events which became useless too after the implementation of SN medals). It's not a big deal to stop being lazy and recycle the same things over and over. At a point where Keyblades can reach level 50 in 0.1 steps from 35 onward, it shouldn't be hard to reward more gems. I didn't manage to get a Keyblade past 38 yet because I level them evenly. Perhaps give more avatar parts too which aren't meant to be bought. Some people want a goal to work toward. But they aren't given one because they can't use the rewards they are given. I was a very active player who finished all events back then but nowadays I find it hard to even bother with lots of events because I don't need another Cid or another Magic Mirror. The stuff I need can mainly be bought or is so RNG-based that it takes me forever to get good stuff or it involves a lot of saving. I'm a veteran player. I won't tell people what to demand and what to wish for, but recently I see so many complaints about stuff which is purely cosmetic or merely serves to quench the symptoms instead of treating the disease. KHUx has ceased to provide something new. Which isn't necessarily thst bad if we can still use the things we provide. But most of us don't need the basic rewards. We don't care about PvP because we mainly need the Tier 9 stuff at most at this point. This is exactly what I predicted with the implementation of 7* medals. The medals themselves weren't the issue, the problem is that they make 90% of the rewards we get utterly senseless. And what is even worse is that SE fails to adjust to that accordingly. Just now, we got another event rewarding Cids. Thank you very much KHUx. Whatever will I do without another to add to my ten existing stacks? There is so much more to improve but KHUx currently seems to run down a path of self-destruction. KH3's hype has called back some players but at this point you don't need to be active to finish the 5-15 story quests per month. The important story aspects can be cut down to about a page of dialogue at most. It doesn't invite players to play more because they can be dealt with without the newest medals, too. Not to mention that it shouldn't be an issue to catch us up there. Translations by fans are up within a day or two, fully embedded into the cutscene text bubbles. They caught us up with everything else, but information such as this which is actually important for the understanding of KH3 and beyond gets neglected without an understandable reason. I don't play many gacha games but after I started with FFBE (which isn't known as the most generous game to grace this planet either), the issues KHUx has become all the more prominent. And there doesn't seem to be a desire to fix them. They just throw out the same stuff as always without noticing the mood deteriorating toward rock bottom. And only then do they do some small patches which do nothing to improve the game in the long run. But the fans also need to realize that. There's no use in complaining about small issues which barely scratch the surface at this point. I admire that stamina but it can be put to better use than complaining about purely cosmetic avatar parts. An addition to the unbalanced quest system. The current Shiva event rewards an actually useful gem for the most difficult quest. But I just barely managed to do it because I was hit with a temporary stroke of luck yesterday night. This was my setup and it only shows how ridiculous it is. (The condition for the last quest is that medals need to have one gauge cost or more.) Keyblade: Fairy Stars (level 37, all sub slots filled with tier 4 and above, providing a bonus of roughly x2.7) Pet level: 13 (Max) 1st Slot: SN+ Axel (This one just copies SN Kairi and doesn't deal damage.) (EA, ADD) 2nd Slot: SN Kairi (Useless since she cannot be activated.) (Second Chance.) 3rd Slot: SN+ Monster Sora (EA, GDD, ADD) (ATK VIII Max + Gauge 0.) 4th Slot: SN Pete (EA, GDD, ADD) (ATK VIII Max + Gauge 2) 5th Slot: SN Ven, Terra and Aqua (GDD, ADD, 1000 STR) (ATK VII Max + Gauge 0) Pet: SN+ Key Art 20 (EA, GDD, ADD, 1000 STR) (ATK IX Max + Gauge 0) Friend: SN+ Key Art 19 (EA, GDD, ADD, 1000 STR) (ATK IX Max + Gauge 0) As I said, I had unusual amount of luck with those traits (some of which required over 20 trait medals though which I accumulated over time.) If you look at my other SN medals, you will find loads of terribly traited medals. But such a setup isn't the norm and even with Titan I had to use tons of tries to have Combo I trigger (another RNG factor). This game is purely luck at this point. At first you are happy to finally get KA19 for example only to realize you have no traits to give it, making its uses limited in the tougher events. (And for the rest you won't even need such a strong medal.) SE doesn't need to cater to every need. Certainly not. But you can see people are angry and bored with the game. I don't even need to do much anymore to rank in the top 500 in the weekly rankings when it was real work two years ago. And it doesn't help a game when everyone except newcomers who aren't aware of the problems are ready to get their pitchforks. But hey, at least I can drown my sorrow in my pile of useless support medals.

hello Ky! ♡♡
ooh. ik it doesn't mean a lot, but please take breaks during whatever you're doing so you can keep some of your energy. i hope you'll be alright! ♡
i tried to get better, and it worked for a day or two,, but i'm down again :') so sorry. it's really tiring.
giving you lots of warm hugs as a thanks because i'm not sure what else to give (๑´・‿・)(・‿・`●)―
oh they'll have to wait for years, we've only explored 3 nations! poor abyss. and yee. paimon is annoying sometimes but she's still our favourite emergency food, it's good to have her!
ooh D: do you usually buy constellations from the shop ? i think kaeya comes at the next reset if that's your thing. otherwise he'll have to be benched and he'll be sad,,
truee and they're not *that* close to anyone, not enough to dance with them at least. i mean ingame. maybe you gave them new friends in your headcanons ?
diluc in general is adorable so i think it's only fitting to give him lots of flowers <3 oh if only we could give him some on his birthday. and fr i wish we could have sweet brotherly moments with them, like the ones with klee and albedo! they're so so cute :(
i like to think that childe sees anyone who's stronger than him as a sort of mentor because they remind him of skirk! tho zhongli wouldn't want to hurt him just because. /j
genshin looks like it's filled with sort of familial relationships yum yum (ships are okay tho, don't get me wrong)
see u! i wish an amazing sunday/week! ily Ky <3 take care of yourself ♡♡
- 🦊
I am SO sorry for the late reply sjgiusgeih I'm not doing too good haha- I'm doing my best to take care of myself, so rest assured, I'm not too bad off. :D
Nono trust me, if anyone understands that, it's me. If I may though. Maybe lower your standards for "better." Truth be told, you might never be as happy as you were. But, that doesn't mean you can't be happy. If you lower your standards, "happy" can be anything you want it to be. Take every day, every minute you feel even just a bit better, and call that progress. You won't recover in a day, maybe it takes months, but so long as you believe in the progress you're making, you'll be okay. We're in this together, m'kay?
AAAA I can't save starglitter to save my life. The moment I get five, into the gacha it goes. Though I might consider saving eventually, thank you for that idea! Thankfully he's okay at c1, hopefully I can steal my sister's luck and get c3 Kaeya soon...
Usually I make my headcanons while I'm writing, so their partner is usually (Y/n) or me but my readers don't need to know that :D
Ahh that makes sense, actually! It's pretty cute to think about though sijisuhg- and yes, found family EVERYWHERE. It looks like all the characters have at least one counterpart! A friend, a sibling, a mentor/guide, etc. Not one character, not even the most alone of them, is truly alone. And I like that.
I hope you've been alright, I'm sorry again for the late response! Thanks for being here, sunshine, take care. <3

the companies are so lucky nuest is a visual group that can make anything look nice and expensive ;; i hope we can both get to a point where we dont cry because of the song >< the only thing barely keeping me going is that the lyrics are kind of hopeful and hold a promise in some way, you know what i mean?
ive seen some loves say they were thinking of decorating the cover when they do get their, which sounds like such a cute idea tbh, but its just so unfortunate that it had to come down that.
ohhh my gosh yea thats so bad, and the fact that this wasnt even that long ago? they keep monopolizing like its nobodys business and company fans will defend them with their life.
for sure pledis already abandoned their other groups long ago, and now that fromis has been 'officially moved' under them i wonder how thats going to go for them
right?? if they really wanted to they definitely would schedule a shoot, since its a *group* activity.
yup they made that $2 budget look so good but ahh me too...one day we'll get there......the lyrics are hopeful but that's probably what added to the sadness for me like an eternal promise and waiting and staying the same AHH MY HEART JUST BREAKS just that sinking bittersweet feeling but hopefully we'll get to the point where it's more sweet than bitter and it does give hope for a reunion whether it will be official or unofficial i hope we'll see them together!!
omg that sounds so cute but i think i would be too scared to attempt on mine sajfkhdsjkf i'm too clumsy without my ctrl+z button but i'd love to see other fans' cover redesigns ;u;
yea that whole issue really turned me off of that company in general, it was definitely the start of them wanting to maximize profit by buying out other companies and recreating things under their own name...
it was so unexpected too like i'm sure no fan would've thought the game would close just because it was so successful but speaking for myself, dalcom had a pretty long standing relationship with sm (superstar sm being the first they made in 2014) and jyp like by the time superstar bts closed, they've been working with sm for 6 years and jyp for 4 so i stupidly assumed that what they were making with b**h** would also be something that lasted for a long time and i really enjoyed the fan community of the game too, even though i didn't actively participate in it myself lol it was fun to see everyone's game discussions and tips so i was really upset when i found out the reason it's closing was for more money basically because why would you remake a new game of the same style (rhythm gacha game) when you already have one with a thriving community??
oh yea lmao if there is one thing pledis is good at it's abandoning groups, with how a lot of these companies run i swear it's just luck base when it comes to group success and popularity because they really do not know what they're doing, i don't claim to know better myself but i do know shitty management when i see it lmao
exactly??? like it's not that hard to schedule ur own group that you are managing for a photoshoot like it really cannot be that hard pls it just shows that they are lazy and do not care especially since they don't bother to give the members many solo schedules either so it's like you really have no excuse

yes I already raised the jade cutter lmao I made a vow that ayato will be the o my character that I’ll allow to use that weapon, even if I don’t get him now it will just stay there until he comes home during his rerun… but I do wish he would come home now… still don’t know if getting that sword in such low pity was a good thing or a bad thing lmao but I need him quickly cause l’ll start saving my primos for scaramouche, since I’ll want him with his weapon and some constellations as well. I gave up on raiden for ayato so right now I am begging him for mercy
I have some 5* weapons I need to raise (most importantly Zhongli's weapon) but I ran out of enhancement gems T-T I'm making the most I can every day but they just need so much...
Hopefully the gacha luck gods are shining in your favour and giving you a helping hand for a change. At least the time it takes for him to be released gives you a chance to get even more primos to make it almost certain you do get him.
I'm still amazed so many people are saving up for Scaramouche. His fans are dedicated people considering we don't know if he'll be able to be played. I hope for your sake and for the sake of so many people saving for him that he's announced to become one because I think we deserve to play as this angry puppet and his dumb hat (I kinda want him to be a catalyst user just because I think he deserves to hit people with a book but he's most likely to be a physical weapon as Ei and the Raiden use them).
Anyway, I'll figure out how to go in game and strangle Ayato if he doesn't come home for you.

Good Morning~
I want to tell you people about so many stuff that happened to me (*cough*myfgoaccount*cough*) this few weeks. Anyway I just found out last month that my local network ended up banning Tumblr so I cant online and accessing other social media is so frustrating you don't even know it. Thank God the one in my college is not like that. So I'm currently using that so yeah... no more tumblr-ing at home.
So anyway, I think I’m very lucky that despite awful ass connection I still managed to play this goddamned game. It kinda crashed and logged off by it self several time and makes me want to tear my hair when it happens when I’m in the middle of battle or gacha. BUT! Look who is finally come to my Chaldea!!
Tumblr media
I always wanted Alexander since I used to have him in my older account so he’s a nice surprise! But the cherry on the top is KARNA! THAT NOODLE-BOI FINALLY COME!! OMG! WHAT EVEN THIS GAME IT’S NOT EVEN HIS RATE UP GDI! You see... I kinda spent tons of quartz on him on his pick up but he. just. refused. to come. But then when it’s another servant (I think it’s Scahatch-Skadi one... I need support caster after all...) He come!
Tumblr media
Next you know what even more annoying? Not exactly annoying per see I’m more exasperate tbh. When I rolled the free FP roll the game just crashed. So I thought ‘Meh, not like I’m gonna get good stuff from FP’ so I just went and log in again and play for a while. After getting enough embers, I went to level up my servants right. And guess who sneakily slipped into my Chaldea?
Yep.
That Avenger BOI!!
Tumblr media
And then the other day after I got enough mana prism I went to buy a golden summoning ticket and rolled once and just imagine my feeling when this guy come out of the blue.
Tumblr media
Thats it. I'm done rolling. I want Jeanne, Nero, and Berserk-Cu but I think I just exhausted my entire luck for them. So I'll quit rolling until I deem my luck replenished... it'll take months but I think I can manage. Hopefully. Anyway now that I'm done venting I'll just go fighting berserk-chickens and oggling Robin's swimsuit or something. Cya~

Memoria: Repelling the Filth
Surprise, I’m also typing out scripts of the Memoria cards I’ve managed to obtain. I know I’m missing at least one, but there’s a gacha running until end of service that’s only Memoria cards so maybe...
Starting with the one from the AoT crossover and going in the order I got them.
These won’t go up nearly as quickly as the event scripts since I still have a couple of weeks to get this done so hopefully it shouldn’t be as spammy.
But still, if you want to blacklist these, you can use either the tag #xdu memoria scripts or #xdu scripts
Reminder  that these are copied straight  from XD Unlimited itself, so any grammatical weirdness, mistranslations,  and/or mischaracterizations are  not my doing.
In-game Summary: “The night after meeting a mysterious group of soldiers, Tsubasa has to clear her room for them. However, what they see...”
-The night everyone met the Scout Regiment-
Tumblr media
Genjuro Kazanari: "We'll need to clean out a room in HQ in order to make room for the Scouts."
Genjuro Kazanari: "Tsubasa. You have a room to yourself, right? How about we move you over to Hibiki-kun and Chris-kun's room?"
Genjuro Kazanari: "That room should be big enough for everyone."
Genjuro Kazanari: "The scouts can stay in your room."
Tsubasa Kazanari: "Understood. Please give me a little time to go clean my room out."
Genjuro Kazanari: "Thanks."
Tumblr media
Hibiki Tachibana: "Please give us a moment. Tsubasa is getting your room ready."
Eren: "Thank you for giving us a place to sleep."
Mikasa: "It'll certainly be nice having a safe place to rest."
Eren: "Don't let your guard down yet, though. It would be a huge problem if that room's dirty..."
Chris Yukine: "Huh? What do you mean?"
Armin: "Lieutenant Levi is a bit of a clean freak. If it's messy, he won't hesitate to order everyone to clean."
Eren: "Yeah, we could be cleaning one room for hours."
Hibiki Tachibana: "Isn't that a bit..."
Chris Yukine: "You got nothing to worry about. HQ's pretty clean. So as long as she hasn't been a total slob in there..."
Hibiki & Chris: "Huh?!"
Eren: "What?!"
Hibiki Tachibana: "Tsubasa-san's been using that room for the past couple days, but... Have you seen it yet?"
Chris Yukine: "Not yet. Plus, her manager's away on some business right now, so..."
Hibiki Tachibana: "I'm gonna go check on Tsubasa-san!"
Chris Yukine: "I'll come too!"
Eren: "H-Hey, what's going on?"
Tumblr media
Hibiki Tachibana: "How's the cleaning going?"
Tsubasa Kazanari: "As you can see, I've nearly finished in here. After just a little..."
Chris Yukine: "Yeah, no way is this even close to being done! There are clothes all over the place!"
Tsubasa Kazanari: "What do you mean? This looks much nicer than before."
Hibiki Tachibana: "She isn't wrong. All of the trash and underwear is mostly piled up in this corner."
Chris Yukine: "How dirty was it before?"
Levi: "Is this where we'll be staying?"
Chris Yukine: "Is that..."
Tumblr media
Chris Yukine: "What're you doing here already?"
Levi: "We have to be up early tomorrow, so it would be best to get to bed early."
Hibiki Tachibana: "But, uh... The room isn't really ready yet."
Levi: "It isn't ready?"
Chris Yukine: "Yeah. You know, the beds, sheets, and uhh..."
Hibiki Tachibana: "Yeah! It's totally not that Tsubasa-san completely wrecked the room! Hahaha... Haha..."
Levi: "That was awfully specific."
Hibiki Tachibana: "Huh?"
Chris Yukine: "You dumbass..."
Levi: "I'm going to see for myself."
Chris Yukine: "Where did you get those gloves from?"
Levi: "I thought something like this may happen, so I requisitioned some cleaning supplies."
Hibiki Tachibana: "Wow, you're prepared for anything!"
Chris Yukine: "Just shut up, Hibiki!"
Tumblr media
Tsubasa Kazanari: "These go over here, and these ones go over there... Ogawa-san's cleaning tips are really coming in handy!"
Levi: "......"
Tsubasa Kazanari: "I-Is someone there?"
Tumblr media
Levi: "It's me."
Tsubasa Kazanari: "Oh hi! Wait a moment, I'm just about finished."
Levi: "Wait, you're cleaning?"
Tsubasa Kazanari: "Of course. Just look, this pile of clothing is starting to shrink a bit."
Levi: "Stop what you're doing right now."
Tsubasa Kazanari: "But... I'm cleaning..."
Tumblr media
Levi: "In what world is that considered cleaning?!"
