#okay i did draw stuff that didnt involve the hedgehog characters i promise i was just picking my favorites/what i thought was the best #from each month and realized i kept picking stuff with sonic and/or shadow in it #so i decided i would make all of them have at least one hedgehog character because the pattern was funny to me #anyway kind of disappointed with how little i drew this year ive been struggling with motivation to do art for a while now #but . i did get at least one or two finished drawings for each month.#and i also managed to do artfight even if i did less art for that than ive done in the past #whihc are still accomplishments i think. considering how ive been feeling #also i didnt get to do one of these last year because my laptop decided to stop working around december #and i did get a new one soon after. but i wasnt able to get access to the stuff on my old one until a little while into the year #and at that point it felt like the moment had passed and it would be awkward to post the art summary thing . so i just didnt #so . yay i get to do it this time #if this picture is making you notice how inconsistent the way i draw werehog sonic is no it isnt

GI says next plan re: my pain spreading across my abdomen and to the spleen area is to do chest and full abdominal x-rays 🩻 I hope I can schedule them for before the gallbladder surgery.

#bc I don’t want a second surgery if something is wrong #he also doesn’t seem to think it’s normal for me to be carrying pain around my gallbladder for as extended periods of time as I am #(which is almost always)#I thought that was normal for gallstones but he seems to be saying that it should only hurt soon after eating and not for more than 15 mins #I say it seems bc the message was confusing- I think his assistant was typing it as he said it and she kept switching yous to shes and back #with little to no sentence structure lol #idk if he means that it should only be extremely painful after eating or if he means #that there should only be pain at all after eating #he said spleen and intestines won’t show well on ultrasound so- xray #I’m worried if the xrays don’t show anything then he may stop believing me about the pain #and not decide to proceed to CT #he says insurance won’t approve MRI without abnormal xray or CT results but #my insurance has literally never questioned a single order a doctor has sent #I’ve definitely had MRIs for things without abnormal results from other tests #but that’s ok #I love MRIs tho they’re so relaxing 2 me #Makes me feel like I’ve been abducted by aliens #in a good way lmao idk #the only thing I’ve ever even had to get prior authorization for was when I could only have name brand adderall #if you live in Ohio and have Medicaid I promise you CareSource is the best option they have #if you’re on a different Medicaid plan and they give you trouble you should def switch to caresource

Changed the url of the blog (scale-tippers -> abyssembraced)

Changed the colour scheme of the blog (though it's still somewhat subject to change)

Updated the avatar to reflect the new colour scheme (though it's still temporary until I draw a nicer one)

Removed my old promo as my pinned post due to it being outdated (a temporary pinned post with links and stuff will be up in a sec; a new promo will come eventually, probably once I finish writing Rouxls' bio page)

Adults make decisions about our lives, that's what being an adult is. We may decide to get a face tattoo, or quit a promising job, or join the army, or move to another country.

That's practically all we do as adults. We make decisions that effect the rest of our life, and then we live, or sometimes die, accordingly. Maybe i'll spend the rest of my life regretting telling my influential boss he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, but, as an adult, that's the kind of life decision i am allowed to make for myself. And after all, it might be the best thing i ever did. It's my life, and i get to do all the fucking around and all the finding out i want to.

surgical transition, or sterilization, or whatever... is exactly the same. If you aren't going to let a legally adult person decide for themself about that stuff, then you can't let them get a tattoo or move to Florida either
