I think that makes the QSMP so special is the love that surrounds it, in game and irl.
Obviously, the QSMP server is about love. From the admins making the egg event longer to islanders ready to do whatever to protect the eggs to the team being just as excited as everyone for this and always listening to everyone.
But the fact that everyone, CCs and community, gets excited about things happening is so special. Whether thats a CC that hasnt been on in a while logging on or next mods and updates or new people and languages being added. And even people who have left, like Spreen and DanTDM, are still kept alive in the story and by the islanders.
Like everyone is valued and loved and I love seeing the ingame chat and my dashboard explode whenever someone who hasnt logged on in a bit logs on.
And with the theory of japanese/ asian speaking languages joining soon and how for a while we thought (and still hoping) that we would get german speaking creators, everyone is just excited to meet new people and show them how awesome the QSMP is.
Plus the CCs on the server talking about how much it changed their lives. Etoiles talking about how it made him fall back in love with streaming, Foolish flying out of the country for the first time to go to Brazil, and just people would probably never talk to each other becoming such close friends (Cellbit and Roier, Pac and Fit, Phil and Missa, Bagi and Bad, etc)
Like gOD I LOVE THIS SERVER AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK ON IT AND THE CCS WHO POUR THEIR HEART INTO IT AND THE COMMUNITY WHO TRANSLATES AND DRAWS AND SUBTITLES AND JUST GETTING HYPED FOR STUFF IS SO COOL

Deaf Subtitles
Jaune: I’m deaf, but my semblance makes the words people say appear below them so I can read them.
Ruby: “Like subtitles in a movie?”
Jaune: Yeah, just like that!
Ruby: “That’s awesome!”
Weiss: “I’ve never heard of a semblance like that before. That’s quite the unique semblance.”
Jaune: Thanks, but it has it’s downsides.
Ruby: “Like what?”
Jaune: It doesn’t say who is talking to me, so if I’m around several people I get confused on who I’m speaking to.
Ruby: “That sounds annoying.”
Jaune: If someone asks me to, ‘come here.’ I have no idea where, ‘here’ is because there isn’t a voice to follow.
Weiss: “People have no doubt become quite angry for that, haven’t they?”
Jaune: Yeah, I’ve had quite a few incidents happen to me every now, and then. But, that’s not the worst of it.
Weiss: “It’s not?”
Ruby: “Then what is?”
Jaune: All the words I see are at chest level.
Weiss: “So?”
Ruby: “What’s wrong with that?”
Jaune: Let me rephrase that: All the words I see are at boob level.
Weiss: …
Ruby: Oh…
Jaune: Yeah…
: “Is that why you’re always staring at my chest?!”
Jaune: Who said that?
Ruby: “You need to be facing, Jaune so he knows who’s talking to him.”
: “Whoops.”
Yang: “Is that why you’re always staring at my chest?!”
Jaune: …
Jaune: Yes.
Yang: “I just thought you liked checking out my girls~!”
Jaune: You put my head through a wall because I was ‘staring’ too much.
Yang: Uhh…
: “It was you who did that to him?!”
Yang: “Uh oh…”
: You’re dead, you hear me! You’re dead!”
Yang: “Gotta go bye!”
: “Come back here you bitch.”
Jaune: That was, Jeanne wasn’t it?
Ruby: “Yeah.”
Weiss: “How could you tell?”
Jaune: This isn’t the first time she’s done this to someone, nor will it be the last.
Weiss: “Well hopefully this will be the least of your problems coming here, Jaune.”
Jaune: I hope so too, but something weird has been happening to me lately ever since I came to, Beacon to see my sister.
Ruby: “Weird how?”
Jaune: Well…?!
: “Ara Ara~!”
Jaune: That! That keeps happening?!
Ruby: What keeps happening!
Jaune: Someone keeps on saying, ‘Ara Ara’ to me!
Weiss: “They’re saying what to you?”
Jaune: They’re saying…?!
: “Ara Ara~!”
Jaune: Ahhhh!!! Who ever you are! Show yourself! And, explain why you keep doing this! Otherwise I might be forced to take responsibility for actions I will only slightly regret!
: “What is he talking about?”
: “I have no idea.”

Just One Glance
Synopsis: Set a few months after the events of the Secrets of the Scroll, and years before the events of the first Kung Fu Panda film, The Furious Five make their official debut as the new protectors of the Valley of Peace. Po, not really knowing who they are but remembers seeing them when they fought Boar together, and having enough memory to carve their action figures out of wood, sees them presented to society for the first time as masters. He is in awe of their skills and awesomeness, but one young Tigress catches his eye.
If the events of Secrets of the Scroll was about the day Po fell in love with Kung Fu, then this is about the day he started crushing on Tigress.
Based on a short script I wrote a couple years ago (or longer, I can’t remember.) You can feel free to read the script here on FF.net.
I have been wanting to create a comic or animatic for this for a long time to get it out of my head, and I finally had some time to work on it over a weekend (emphasis on 'some'), so it’s not perfect, but enough to get the idea across lol. I can’t do voices, so had to add subtitles, but if anyone is interested in adding a voice over for these characters, let me know lol. 😂 Took some liberties, too, but I hope you KFP/TiPo fans enjoy nonetheless! 🐼 🐯 🍜

hi!! would you mind doing a tutorial on how you add subtitles to your gifs?
hey, sure! :)
with the text tool selected, i will draw a box that is as wide as the gif and type my text. i created an action that selects all the right settings for me so it's faster and my subtitles always look the same.
arial rounded bold is a very popular choice for subtitles, and it looks awesome, but i' always've been using the font calibri bold italic for years now. here are my usual settings for a 540px wide gif:
i usually keep the font size and leading value the same, if i change it from 18 pt. and sometimes i'll play around with the anti-aliasing method, whatever looks best for this particular gif. this will help make your text look less crispy or soft, depending on which filtering method you use. the other settings i pretty much always leave like that for subtitles.
as for colors, i always go with white first, and if there's another character talking, i will give their subtitles a different color. i usually try to pick a bright pastel color found in the gif, or even on the character's clothing (just because i like to match things haha).
it's also important to leave a bit of a gap on the sides and bottom, so the text doesn't go all the way to the edges (as shown in the next example). it's definitely harder to read text if it's too close together, or goes from edge to edge. you can push words on another line if it becomes too close to the edge, and you can nudge the text from the bottom with the arrow keys.
as for the layer style, i'm adding a black stroke and black drop shadow (by double clicking the text layer). the stroke almost never changes, but i'll edit the drop shadow accordingly with the gif. if it's a very busy gif, the drop shadow should be thicker to help with visibility.
and that's it! :D
