#shoutout to Marc Brunet for somehow making a tutorial that actually helped me #I watched so many of them from different artists and none actually helped me #so I'm doing the 1 year drawing challenge thingy #and just so happened that today I went on to the “draw a manequin” step #so I follow the link to this tutorial and watched it #and it's just the same thing everyone is teaching that never helps me #after it's done (I was drawing alongside him) I thought that #“yeah of course I can follow along”#“I can always follow along but if I want to draw something by myself later it looks terrible again”#so I didn't think much of it and just assumed it won't help me #so then I went to draw a new thing #and of course I try to use the “new” technique I just learned #and it works????#like none of the tutorials which a lot of them is very similar worked #but this one that somehow worked #and he even said in the video “if you do it this way it'll click”#and I remember thinking that it won't #that it never does #but it actually clicked somehow #I'm still in shock #man anatomy is easy now #also the drawings I added are litteraly latest manequin before I watched the tutorial #and the first one I did by myself after watching it #it's like day and night #don't mind the pose it just so happen to fit the meme #marc brunet #anatomy #meme #my text post #my post
