Maybe it was fate that brought us together. You’d agree, wouldn’t you? How unlikely was it for you to be in the same picture so many years ago. My last picture with her, and there you are, smiling so prettily in the background. We were eleven in the picture, but I didn’t notice until I was nearly fourteen. I think the muggles have a word for that, y’know? Invisible String Theory.

Fourteen is such a young age to have a crush, “puppy love”, my tutor had called it the summer I came home. My studies never end, you see, my father insists an idle brain is good as brain-dead, but that never made sense to me. Nevertheless, I told my tutor all about you, and she seemed to be excited to meet you one day. I’ll bring you to my summer home. You like the beach, right?

I wasn’t the looker in fourth year that I am now. I was tall but too skinny, not enough muscle on my bones to make me desirable yet. I’m sure you hadn’t even noticed me before(And to be honest, I hadn’t realized the most beautiful face I had ever seen went to my school either), but you found my lost book, and that was the day I realized I had seen you before. That picture, the picture with her, was always my favorite. Yet, when I realized it was your beautiful, beaming face photobombing my portrait accidentally, I fell hard.

I noticed how I saw you everywhere, our classes nearly perfectly lining up. You’re just a good person, love. Spreading so much love, and light, and kindness wherever you go. 

I should introduce myself, but where's the fun in that? You’ve always liked a good puzzle, ever my smart girl. Besides, I've done some things I'm not quite proud of, and it might make you a bit apprehensive. Nothing terrible, of course! I’m not a monster, my love, but I was lonely. Please don’t be jealous, or do, I can’t tell which I find to be more attractive. 

Regardless, I can’t imagine you don’t feel the same way. We’re soulmates after all, and I’ll do everything in my power to prove that to you.

Weird thing I always imagine. Idk if they’ve been invented in teyvat but let’s say they have so….rollie chair Dottore. Specifically if he’s taking care of fragile reader in his office, just cleaned their arm in preparation for needle, but wait that needle is over on his desk, that’s okay he’ll just wheelie over !! Idk just imagining him rolling from desk to desk to grab some papers and whatnot is so scientist/doctor coded

The only reason Dottore owns one of these rolling chairs is because you were the one who bought it in the first place (very much persuaded by Pantalone's luxurious one.) The Doctor prefers a regular ordinary chair, as that's what he's worked with his whole life and sees no reason to change, but that's also probably because he could care less as long as it doesn't break. You, however, are of the opinion that spinning chairs = fun. You replace his main chair with the rolling one. Dottore still doesn't care. He's much more in the habit of simply getting up whenever he needs something. You sit in his lap and try to push him to get it to roll but you're not strong enough for that of course. The mission is mostly unsuccessful. Mostly. He does sometimes unintentionally roll when the distance is short, and then just continues since he's already doing it. You find it very entertaining, and he does admit to the convenience. (Foxttore loves the chair the most. Lil shit refuses to get off it sometimes.)

I have a couple of my usual little minor nitpicks (as I am want to have), but I don’t even want to get into them because there were so few and they didn’t impact my enjoyment of the comic all that much. I thought it was super cute!

I won’t spoil anything in case anyone’s interested in buying it for themselves (which, I would say… yeah, buy it, totally!), but what I appreciated the most– especially since this is the first issue and it’s establishing who the girls are for anyone not super familiar with them– is that the girls end up saving the day together. It shows the importance of them not just being heroes, but also being a team (and also being supportive sisters, which… 🥹🫶) and that makes me feel like, even on a basic level, they get the characters. And that’s reassuring! Yay!

yep -- the same guy from the spongebob musical, and my posts abut the spongebob musical.

he blew up completely and now the general public knows him as 'ariana grande's new boyfriend' - their relationship seems to have started off the back of co-starring in the upcoming wicked musical film adaptation.

it's just been like. a monkey's paw curling sort of a way for him to get catapulted to fame, as i had always really enjoyed him as a performer (as spongebob, yes, but also in the other roles i'd seen him in,) and my biggest hope back around 2017 was that he would continue in and be really successful in theatre, get a lot of broadway roles, maybe take on some existing parts i thought he'd really suit, like seymour in little shop or ogie in waitress.......... but instead he booked the role of boq from wicked in a massive hollywood film production instead, where he met ariana grande. THE ariana grande.

and then yeah. at some point, he and grande broke up with their respective partners, (slater leaving both his wife AND newborn son) jumped into a new relationship, and now the whole wider internet knows who he is but certainly not for the right reasons.

there's been speculation regarding whether or not grande and slater had cheated on their previous partners before their relationship began with various sources coming out of the woodwork saying "yes they did" and others saying "no they didn't" -- humans are all perfectly capable of making stuff up, the media especially, so i simply don't know who to trust and i admit it had completely shattered my whole good impression of him - PLUS it gave the wider internet an absolutely awful first impression of him, resulting in, yeah, the (frankly, unflattering, sometimes downright cruel) memes of him popping up on twitter and, as i discovered yesterday, in non-theatre youtubers' videos who would literally never have heard of him if not for the slater-grande romance 🥲

Mini Silverborn Countdown

If you’ve been around for a few years, you’ve seen me vaguely mention a “Silverborn Countdown Challenge” several times. It’s been delayed and changed as many times as the book itself, lol.
