Welcome to read DHD! I'm genuinely so glad and happy you've enjoyed it (I binged it myself recently, too - I need to reread what I have done occasionally not to miss anything).

Good thing for arriving a bit later than others to any series is that there's lot to watch/see/listen and you can indulge yourself as much as you like :D

FUZZY is completed and tells a story of a seer Irene and a solid black monster called Fuzzy. It was very liked and got on Webtoon's front page as recommended series. READ FUZZY

Demon Sanctuary has been in a hiatus for a long time but I do genuinely want to finish it - even if it took me 20 years. It tells a story of a priest Furmann, who rehabilitates demons instead of exorcising them. One of his demons is a little girl's ghost-demon Suzie, who screams at flowers. READ DEMON SANCTUARY

I'd also like to serialize these three poly-flatmate-idiots at some point with 4 panel style but I have not made any big decisions yet. I have their comics on Tumblr now, tagged as #flatmates (needs a proper name)

Ironically speaking I know how Demon Sanctuary ends and I just need to draw it but I haven't gotten to do it...

Second ironic thing is that there's also another comic which I have had in mind for 7-8 years by now. I know the characters (Poju and Siri, series has no name), I know the story, I pretty much have it all thought from beginning to its end. Again, I don't know when (or how!) this story will come out. I somehow have a hunch that some other form than a comic would fit it really well. A book, perhaps? A game?

NOT TO MENTION that there's also ANOTHER comic idea I've been thinking for a few years now and doodled the characters a bit. It would be about a demon who is VERY proud of being able to manipulate anyone - until he meets a woman who doesn't react to him in anyway. Kind of the same idea as in Lucifer series, but a comedy.

Wow, where these keep coming from?! Not that I complain but I have only two hands, 24h per day and health issues (albeit slowly getting better).

They don't find Jet. It's a big city, yeah, but there's only so many places he really goes in it. The fact that they can't track him down . . .

Smellerbee really, really doesn't like that fact. 

"Maybe he just went home," she says doubtfully, because that's the last place she can think of that they haven't checked. Lee doesn't say anything. He hasn't said much the whole search. He looks grim and frustrated and ready to snap. 

At least she definitely knows he likes Jet, she guesses. 

"He might have gotten sick or something?" she tries, although he definitely wasn't acting sick this morning. Not that Jet usually acts sick no matter how sick he actually is, but still. Smellerbee knows him well enough to know when he's not feeling well. 

"He never skips the teashop," Lee says tersely. 

"I know," Smellerbee sighs, because yeah, Jet probably would've gone there even if he were sick. He is . . . way too invested in Lee. To put it mildly. "Maybe he got stuck at a job. Or maybe Song needed him." 

"He was looking for that damn bison," Lee says. Smellerbee frowns. 

"Maybe he found it," she says skeptically. Lee gives her an incredulous look. "He might’ve! It's a big city. Lots of things could be here." 

"Including the Avatar," Lee says darkly. Smellerbee has never heard anyone spit the word like that, except maybe Jet after their plan with the damn dam blew up in their faces. 

"Apparently," she says. 

Lee looks angry. Lee looks angry a lot, so it’s not something new, but . . . 

“What’ve you got against the Avatar?” Smellerbee asks with a frown. She knows Jet’s problems with him, and she’s got problems of her own, but why the hell would Lee even care that the guy existed? Mostly just the people who expect him to fix everything do, and Lee really doesn’t strike her as that type. 

“Nothing,” Lee says flatly, which is a screamingly obvious lie. Smellerbee frowns again. That . . . is really weird. Okay, yeah, Lee’s three-quarters, but . . . 

He doesn’t know Aang, does he? 

“He probably didn’t, anyway,” she says, still eyeing Lee a little skeptically. He doesn’t look any less upset. “It really is a big city.” 

“He’s such a damn idiot,” Lee bites off, clenching his fists. Smellerbee assumes he’s talking about Jet, but maybe he’s not. 

“Let’s try the apartment,” she says, deciding not to touch that one with a ten-foot pole. That’s a Jet kind of problem, whatever it is. That’s the most Jet kind of problem she’s ever seen. 

“Fine,” Lee says, and stalks past her. Smellerbee brings up the rear. She doesn't feel great about this, but she already wasn't feeling all that great about things, so whatever. They're looking for Jet, not a bison or an Avatar or anything else. That's really all she cares about. 

Jet’s been all she cared about more than once in her life, so at least it’s a familiar feeling.

I just want to add that this is all my option lol please don't take it too seriously , I've been a fan of the franchise since Help Wanted and have seen nearly every game theory video of the games , I love fnaf and I loved it before kinfirming anything , this is just my option<3

so first off , I love this movie but not because like I loved the plot but just because of Easter eggs for the long time fans and shit like that

its good only bc of those easter eggs imo

like I loved matpat , the dream theory book , the kids crying black tears , the ella animatronic , the alarm clock beeping being the FNaF4 alarm sound , etc

Everything else ,,, no , I cannot say I liked too much else

i didn't really understand the whole Garrett plot line and Mike going into his dreams to try and get him back but whatever it's fnaf it doesn't have to make sense anymore I hasn't made sense in years (if it ever did) so I'm very neutral since it could have been done worse

What I hated was the whole Vanessa being William's daughter thing I just dislike the concept (which is possibly because I do kin an oc who happens to be William's daughter and who is also dating Vanessa so this really could just be because of that)

William felt alright ig but I feel could have been better , I really felt like the "I always come back line" was extremely forced and just didn't fit with the context , I would have loved to see him on the phone with Mike and just casually say "I always come back" in a joking manner of the sorts .

I didn't really get the kids either ,, like why did they want Abby so bad ?? what was that going to accomplish ? I get Willy's controlling them or whatever , but Golden Freddy seemed to be going of his own will , why did he want Abby so damn bad ?? am I just missing something ??

The animatronics & location were good , don't have much to say , they were done very well and I applaud that

multiple times throughout the movie I was just saying "This is the Silver Eyes and the Fourth Closet just mashed into one with a few extra plots" it made me wanna reread the trilogy bc THE WHOLE THING FELT LIKE THE SILVER EYES WITH NODS TO THE FOURTH CLOSET ,, I'm not mad about it technically , but it could have been done better . Either make a new plot line with only slight nods to it or just do the whole thing and make it well not this

i think we should have just gotten the Silver Eyes , and that's what the movies should have been , the book trilogy with slight nods and references to the games and fan stuff - that would have been an excellent movie SINCE THEY ALREADY WERE COPY AND PASTING SM OF IT

I would say what they copied but that would take too long , if you read the book and watched the movie then you'd see what I'm talking about

if you haven't read the Silver Eyes please read it , it will add so much to the story that the movie just didn't give me

the plot was odd and confusing , it made very little sense to me , the only parts I really got were the Silver Eyes and The Fourth Closet and even then it felt odd to see them just forced into this random movie that I feel should have had very little to do with the books

overall , they did an excellent job with the Easter eggs (Matpat , Sparky's , Ella , Dream Theory , etc) and the animatronics/pizzeria . The whole thing felt like they were doing a knockoff version of the Silver Eyes with an extra plot .

that is my humble option , I don't mean to upset anyone this is just what I thought after watching it

i love the movie will watch it again but purely because I love the easter eggs , seeing that stuff knowing it happened irl makes my fictionkin heart happy

read the Silver Eyes if you haven't , it is one of my favorite books to this day , it is like the movie but much better plot imo lmao

glad you like the sillies, they fill my brain with worms. but as for ptk and/or chilaios...

i do still rotate ptk in my mind fairly frequently, and was actually re-reading it recently so try and get back into the headspace for it. (i got to chapter 4, i have to get back to it soon.) i do have a variety of disorganized thoughts about it

i've been deliberately drawing out the sex stuff, obviously. to tell you the truth i'm not someone who's beholden to realism; i chose to have them actually work their way up to penetration, and actually realistically negotiate the daddy kink, because i thought it fit the tone of the story and would draw things out in a satisfactory way. it also gives me time to explore the different ways their inexperience manifests, show them learning each other's bodies and desires, and explore chilchuck's view of his own body and his relationship to his gender via sex over a longer period of time.

which brings me to another part i put a lot of thought into--chilchuck's gender! i am a fan of a lot of interpretations of him, both cis and transmasc in ways other than what i've been writing. i have plans for at least one fic where he's post top surgery and on T. but i chose to make him pre-everything in ptk for a few reasons, and i'm honestly really pleased with the portrayal. some things i haven't gotten to mentioning yet are that half-foot names are considered unisex (not a headcanon i always go with, but i am fond of it), and he did voice training after he came out. it was more accessible than, like, hormones, at least back in kahka brud, and then he ended up pregnant anyway which delayed doing anything. eventually he decided he didn't really need any of it, anyway. (sorry to deprive everyone of tdick chilchuck 😔.) i like exploring his dysphoria, where it exists versus the many places where he's moved past it, his relationship to sex as a trans man and his concerns about a gay cis man wanting him... while i do insert some of my own experiences into the narrative, chilchuck's transgenderism does manifest in several ways mine doesn't, and it's really fun to figure out what makes sense for him.

speaking of things that are fun to figure out: worldbuilding!! i was told early on that the casual inclusion of "the dungeon age" as a phrase was a really genius method of suggesting the state of the world without exposition, and it very much went to my head, lmao. i do exposition every so often, but only when someone in the conversation doesn't already have the information. so laios explaining monsters and their history, and chilchuck explaining the social structures around half-foots and the differences between kahka brud and the northern continent, are easy ways to try and build on the world i've made--make readers see my vision--without it seeming too out of place. i do hope i'm doing that well, i worry about it when i'm not being subtle, lmao.

other than that--i've set up several plot threads i intend to follow through on later. i really enjoy calling back to earlier things, big or small, and using them in ways people might not expect. (like chekov's plastic wrap from chapters 3 and 10. sorry, chilchuck.) i also thought of a new one while rereading that i think will slot into the narrative nicely. it's going to be a fun ride!!

3. What fandoms do you write for? My fandoms list on AO3 is...long. Like 80+ fandoms long. This is once again due to 3SF; fandoms I am or have been actually active in are Firefly, Chronicles of Narnia, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Grisha Trilogy/Shadow and Bone, and Greek Mythology.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Drunk on the Dying Light [Grisha Trilogy, Darklina] A blood-soaked amplifier gives Alina the ability to control him, but the Darkling still haunts her; all the more so once she becomes his wife.

Maybe It Will All Come Back to Me [A Song of Ice and Fire, Jon/Arya] The wars are over, Daenerys is on the Iron Throne, and Arya finds Jon at last, though neither of them are who they were before.

Hold My Heart in Two [A Song of Ice and Fire, Jon/Arya/Sansa] The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives, in whatever form.

I don't write unhappy endings too often, but two stand out - Always, we strive to get closer, one of my Narnia Fic Exchange fics from last year in which a post-canon Edmund battles through memories to find Susan, only to find she's not ready to give up living even for him, and A Rush of Blood Is Not Enough, a Folk of the Air sex-pollen fic where Jude unknowingly dubcons Cardan and he's very angry once it wears off.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most of mine have happy or at least bittersweet endings, so this is hard - but it might well be The World That's on the Other Side, where Mal and River manage to fix everything bad that happened in canon before any of it technically happens at all.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Rarely, since I'm a NNF. I used to get a bit back in the day when I was actively writing Mal/River due to the age gap and mental stability issues inherent in that pairing, and now I get a comment or two on the Darklina fics from time to time. They just get deleted.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes! I write pretty vanilla M/F and F/F smut; haven't gotten further than the mildest of kinks so far.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? All the time. The craziest are probably the Where's Waldo/LotR or Narnia/Sports Mascot RPF [sort of??? how do you even classify fic in which Gritty appears?], both from 3SF. For non 3SF, it's almost all Narnia/ASoIaF. Probably the most unusual of those is The Truth Without Lying, since that's partly a 1940/50s England AU of ASoIaF as well as a crossover.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of, but I don't look for it.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yep. There's three of them on AO3, and I've been asked other times, though if those were done they didn't get linked back to my originals.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Only in 3SF, where you can 'cowrite' in terms of leaving a series of prompts or fills with a specific partner or two. That I do almost every year. In the traditional sense, no.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? I don't really work in Firefly anymore for the obvious reasons (dead fandom, the Whedon of it all), but rereading any of my Mal/River work still feels like meeting up with old friends. I love them.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I had a third and fourth part of my Mal/River series Love Keeps Her in the Air planned out, and a good 1/3 of part three written. It's literally the only unfinished fic I have. It never got finished because I moved across the country during the middle of it and my ambition never quite recovered.

16. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue and characterization. I'm very good at getting character voices down (and typically just avoid writing characters I can't get a handle on, honestly).

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Plot. Beginnings. The absolute worst. This is why I have no WIPs; if I manage to actually get something started, the hard part is out of the way for me.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I used to do this all the time in Firefly, using Mandarin phrases they'd used in the show. Everyone did at the time. Now I wouldn't; I'd go the "swore at length in Mandarin" route, or just use dialogue tags and description to indicate the characters are speaking another language, like I do with Valyrian in my HotD fics.

19. First fandom you wrote for? LotR, a very long time ago. Firefly is the first one I published anything for that's still on the internet.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? I have so many favorites! I couldn't possibly choose one, except I could and it's The World That's on the Other Side. The ones written during ~the flow are always my faves, and that one stands out the most in that regard.

Hi! I'm sorry I took a few days to reply. Omg I'm so sorry you don't have a voice right now! That sounds so awful. Just try to drink as much water as possible I guess and hopefully it gets better. I think baking is a lot easier for me too..just because I don't make that many cooking recipes or anything and it's harder to know what dishes to make. I also think it takes a lot longer and same here..everyone is better at it than me and never gives me enough time to learn or anything. But I definitely think it will be a New Year's resolution for me to work on it more and just try harder. I hope your voice has at least gotten a little better since I last replied to you and that you're feeling better overall. Hopefully you can start the new year healthy but I hope you feel better sooner than that haha. The only time I've ever lost my voice is at concerts. I remember after my Taylor show, my sister lost her voice and couldn't talk for three days..but I've never had laryngitis. Well I also enjoy apple pie and I'm a fan of most desserts actually.

I think I will be happy with any vault songs she gives us and some of those are familiar to me too. I'm not sure why she didn't release Let's Go (Battle) but I think Need could be put on rep eventually..even if we know it's for Lover, it almost sounds more like rep. But it also reminds me a little of False God too so I'm not sure. I think she will add Beautiful Eyes to debut honestly which would be good since I don't really listen to it. The holiday album I'm more iffy on but I guess it could come this year maybe? I think I heard a rumor about it so idk.

I liked him and think he will do good in the role but only saw one clip so far which was Wait For Me. I will have to look for more. Ooh who is the euryidice stunt cast? I hadn't heard about it. I still haven't got a chance to watch the parade performances or any Dancing performances actually. The only thing I saw was Taylors tour choreographer talking about the Vigilante Shit chair dance which is cool. She is the same choreographer who worked on the La La Land movie so that's pretty cool and I love the dancing in that movie so maybe I will watch a few. I also like the dancers in the tour during Lover and Enchanted.

Well I guess one goal I have is to finish more books that I start lol. Then of course finish the ones I'm in the middle of right now which is going to be paired up with a few on the list. My sister wants to read more too and I have a few in mind we can read together already that we never got to..which is the ones about twins and also the Night Circus. We also started Daisy Jones together a long time ago. Read more books that I own and are on my shelf and I made the goal of reading two books a month so far so we'll see how that goes. Wow that also is the same number of the year which is 24! So hopefully I stick to that. I also said that this year and failed miserably lol. I think I only read two full books this year and maybe two I was in the middle of from the previous year lol. Or maybe I will try to finish one or two I'm in the middle of right now before the year ends. I do not know many upcoming releases yet but Emily Henry and Carly Fortune are definitely two I'm looking forward to and the If he had been with me sequel. So I am supposed to reread that with my sister maybe next month since it comes out in February I think. Or Night Circus and Starless Sea too..idk cuz maybe those will take more than a month though. If you have any other books you think we can read together this year let me know. There is also the Today Tonight Tomorrow sequel and I hope to read the first one as it gets closer. What are some upcoming ones you're looking forward to?

So the movie was good! Like it was a pretty good and faithful adaptation I think. But I also didn't love it as much as other people really seem to either. It felt like they changed a few little things from the book or maybe just cuz I speed read it..oops. Although I'm not sure if you would get it as much if you didn't read the book..like if it would be confusing. I filled in a few things for my sister for example. I feel like the narration in the book made things clearer that was hard to show in the movie. The performances were good though at least. I liked the songs but I need to listen to the soundtrack again. It did not feel like the kind of movie I would wanna watch again really and it was kinda long. In fact it just made me want to rewatch the Hunger Games again and those movies were a lot better. It's just my opinion though I guess. I do like all the edits I've been seeing or connections and reading people's analysis though. I think we are also going to see the Renaissance movie this weekend too and I will probably enjoy that more lol. Although I'm worried it looks more like a documentary of the tour than the full concert..which kinda sucks cuz we didn't get to go.

I know she's been working on it a lot so I guess I wonder what will happen. What genre would you hope for in her new music? I've always wanted her to try more rock honestly so it makes sense why I loved I Can See You so much. I know it might be about her breakup though so I'm not really sure. Red also had hints of rock like State of Grace which is another one of my top favorites so I still have some hope. I also wonder if the music she's working on now could be for her upcoming film too..which it seems like no one has considered. That's so awesome that you saw all of your faves live this year..omg! If I ended up going to Paramore..then I could have said the same haha. They are definitely going to be one of my top artists haha. So I got Say Don't Go right technically but I think that was the only one. I also forgot that she already sang Afterglow or else I wouldn't have guessed it. Yes omg! I think that was my favorite pairing of these shows but I would've been fine with Innocent and Now we don't Talk. I love Say Don't Go but dislike it's Time to Go lol. Now that she's resetting the surprise songs next year, it will be harder to guess..which also makes it more fun! She also says there's extended version of the movie for her bday but didn't mention Cardigan in that list. Also she just put You're Losing Me on streaming finally. Maybe I will finally appreciate this song more but its also kinda just there for me lol. I wish I liked it more. I think it's honestly one of my least favorites out of all the songs she has released this year so hopefully TS11 has better songs. I hope you feel better and continue to have a good week. hi friend !! it has been ... ten (?) days without a voice now, which is just very frustrating but i'm mostly still in good spirits! the one downside is that my friend is coming into town friday through sunday, and i'm worried i won't have a voice by then still. but i can't really do anything about that, so we'll see. might have to continue doing text to speech robot voice! it's her first time in seattle too which makes it all the more interesting! but yes, staying hydrated, sitting next to the humidifier and just hoping i'll feel better soon! i went back to my best friend, the doctor's, and he gave me some new medication yesterday so hopefully that'll do it's magic soon! i'm surprised that i didn't lose my voice from eras weekend at all, but i did from boston (although that one is more so because i got sick → got laryngitis). guess it also makes a huge difference that eras took place over the summer!

what's your favorite dessert? mine is a toss up between black forest cake (what my mom makes for my birthday every year), tiramisu, and chocolate cake! but i also love oatmeal raisin cookies (probably my personal favorite thing to bake). my mom's also really good at baking bread, and i definitely need to pay more attention to her little tips and tricks when she does!

i've never seen the hunger games movies aside from the first one, but i think what i want to do is do a series reread, watch the movies, read tbosas, then see it? maybe? or maybe read them all then watch them all? i have no idea! but all my friends have been talking to me about it and i have to be like WAIT I HAVEN'T READ IT YET DON'T SAY ANYTHING !!! it definitely has taken over my entire fyp, and i'm always in awe of how good people's editing skills are! i hope it's the full concert; you'll have to let me know how it is since i won't be seeing it for a while (if i end up seeing it)!!

hmm... the only versions of Bem i can think of are the 60s one and the 2001 one (though i do see a bit of em in tima metropolis) and i actually haven't seen the 2001 movie hehe ,, so i don't think i can pass judgement here BUT. 60s bem is perhaps my favorite astro boy character Period, and the 2001 version would have a hard (but not impossible) time beating the original with regards to their weird alien magic, their apathy in response to catastrophe, their grace in self-sacrifice, whatever the FUCK they were doing with gender, and their relationship to atom. ough. i want to find a method to save them at the last minute and then adopt them and let them enjoy human hobbies forever. here have this bem i doodled last night

actually in the process of getting that screenshot i reread The Entire Atlas Story. not as silly as i remember! he serves as sort of an introduction to the capability of robots to do evil on purpose. he's capable of evil thought because of the Omega Factor (not to be confused with the Omega Radar, which atom and cobalt use to find each other), which his creator also wants to put in atom, so that they can help him get revenge on colonial/imperialist society (one of tezuka's semi-successful attempts at commenting on systemic racism). its implied that atlas is capable of good, too, he just hasn't been introduced to it. he gets fucking disintegrated btw.

that serves as a very good intro ramp before the Blue Knight Saga and its approaches to good amd evil, and tezuka's preferred order puts it shortly before, likely for that reason. I'm not sure how to feel about the idea that atom isn't capable of evil, and what that might say abt how "advanced" he is- i like to think he's capable of evil, and actively chooses to be good, but whatever. also im just gonna say it this design is ugly as fuck lol

80s was fun. kinda fused atlas and blue knight into the same character? ive never gotten the chance to see the anime episode with small atlas, so i only know his lore from the 80s comics, which i bet is different and siller. he's like atom, except he needed a special 8th power, and his creator decided that would be pissing on things to blow them up? "Like a cicada"? ok . he drank ink once. i love him. hes like jetter mars to me. anyway. as an adult in the anime he did surprisingly well as a long-term antagonist for astro. it's hard to take that damn show stylishly, but i did cry in the finale when atlas declared himself atoms brother. i liked the idea that they were going for, where the two have a lot in common both physically and mentally, and this omega radar ties them to each other unendingly, but atlas will always have a grudge against humans and atom will always love them? that's great. but i feel like they didn't explore it much, and a lot of it was just Come Fight Me I Fucking Dare You (maybe also to mix in Pluto with atlas and bk? saving on voice actors lmao). and i don't even know what was going on with Livian. shrug. congrats to atlas for having a third boob added though!

now 2003. OUGH 2003 did so nicely as an addition of previous atlases. they kind of departed a little bit from previous versions by having him be, for instance, a creation of tenma, but i don't dislike how they used that change. the way they took the "im just like you" thread that they started on with 80s and amped it up by making atlas not only the second robot ever to be made with the same heart/adaptability as atom, but also to be ANOTHER desperate failed father's attempt at fixing his mistakes, resulting in a new person coming out of the ghost of his neglected son?? he's not just atom's foil to the viewer, he's atom's foil to tenma. he leads up perfectly as the step before Pluto (before Shadow) and before Blue Knight in introducing robots capable of evil to society, in introducing robots who don't want to be nice to atom, and in developing tenma's obsession with evolving atom to greater lengths. here's a vengeful robot with the memories of a vengeful son. here's a robot too powerful for atom to fight without, somehow, growing. here's a victim of the growing anti-AI tide. here's someone who's just like you, here to warn you that something bigger is coming.

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)? i thinkkkk i can't stop and look the other way. i knew for sure i wanted to play with infidelity kink (and my original idea was actually for the infidelity to be real lol) but i chickened out and just made it a roleplay, and even clearly tagged it as such, but i'm proud of how i pulled it off in a way that a bunch of people commented saying they forgot or didn't realize it was roleplay hehe. maybe i'll write actual infidelity one day! who knows

What work of yours got more feedback than you expected? god, that's gotta be give it to ya like you never had it. i truly didn't expect the response it's gotten because there was already a super popular pornstar AU fic, so i knew my second cake would just be a humble offering in comparison, but i think a lot of people really liked the way i wrote them here where i had fun exploring their personalities outside of mafia canon.

What’s one pairing you want to explore next year? i guess i can technically say mileapo since i haven't finished or posted any mileapo fics yet. but another kp ship i want to try is (unpopular opinion alert) vegasporsche. hear me out!! they might suck together in the series, but they have a different dynamic in the novel, and their relationship is more genuine (not FULLY genuine but like, more than in the show lol, like they become friends and vegas develops actual feelings for porsche and everything). but i just don't know if i'll ever actually write them because i would need the perfect idea or AU and it hasn't come to me yet.

20. Which work of yours have you reread the most? probably down like my head on your chest, because i THINK it's my fav la fortissimo fic. i'm just really happy with the scenes i chose to hornify, plus the hallway-semi-public-masturbation bit was a huge turning point for porsche where he was given full control of the situation for once and he still chose to submit. you don't really get this because it's in porsche pov, but from that point on in the series, you notice kinn ends up "playing with porsche's emotions" a lot more (ie. having him drive his twinks home, fucking a lot more escorts, shutting down conversations about their feelings) and that's actually kinn poorly coping with porsche's unwavering trust by trying to prove to himself that he doesn't feel anything for porsche, which we all know is a BIG FAT LIE. but anyways. no one reads into the story this deeply, i know you're all just here for the smut <3

30. Biggest surprise while writing this year? my biggest surprise is that i can write again LMAO. before kp brainrot, i went like a full 2 calendar years without writing anything because i was so uninspired, plus constantly comparing myself to the thousands of better writers in the huge fandom i was in at the time. kp also has incredible writers but it's a much smaller fandom and i feel a lot less self-conscious posting here. i remember in my old fandom, i literally couldn't even tweet about an idea i had that i wanted to write without getting a dozen replies from people saying "there's already a fic like that", which is like, ok, i know none of my ideas were especially original, but getting that response constantly made me feel like my writing just wasn't welcome. oh well. with kp being a new and small fandom, nothing feels "overdone" yet, so i'm having a lot of fun in this playground!

After filling in the grave - which had certainly taken less time than it had to dig - Ryan had driven Shane back into town. 

     It had gotten lighter as the night faded. Wherever they were, it was a pretty little town. The radio was playing an early morning show, and despite the lack of sleep and general sense of doom, Shane felt content to sit in this car forever. 

     Ryan slowed the car to a stop on a residential street. He then lent over Shane and opened his door.

     "Get out."

     Shane stared blankly, looking between Ryan and the open door. "What?"

     “Get out the car, Shane.”

     His stomach dropped. Ryan couldn't just leave him here. He wouldn't. Shane knew too much, or something like that. Anxiety bloomed in his chest and began to crawl up his throat.

     "But...what if I go to the police?" He tried.

     "Do you want to go to jail?" Ryan asked with a sigh. 

     "...No."

     "Then don't go to the police."

     Shane was hit with the sudden and very real consideration that he wouldn't make it on his own. This wasn't the way his life was supposed to go, and it certainly wasn't the life he was cut out for. Ryan, on the other hand. Ryan was intelligent. He was calm, resourceful, capable. Shane would never have thought of involving someone in a crime to keep them quiet. He'd never had dark bruises on his hands, couldn't slip subtle threats into conversations, didn't know how to dig a grave. Ryan was exactly the type of person Shane needed around.

     "You still haven't told me what the person on the phone said," Shane tried again.

     Ryan gave the smallest of unbothered shrugs. "Not my problem."

     Crossing his arms stubbornly across his chest, Shane gave Ryan a pointed look. He wouldn't move until Ryan told him, and maybe he still wouldn't move after that. Sat here, legs cramped, staring down a killer might be the safest he was going to be.

     Ryan rubbed his eyes, shaking his head with a sigh.

     "Shane," he said, exasperated, "don't make me drag you out."

     He didn't know if he believed Ryan would actually do that, but it would be one of the smaller man's tamer actions. He feared he was losing this battle, and panic started clawing at his lungs. There was only one more card he could play.

     "I'll tell you what I was running from."

(also random disclaimer of sorts, I could not remember the usual pairing name when I wrote those so I really just labeled things as whatever came to mind first😅😅)

I've been wanting to write about Hoseok for a while now but I cant think of a scenario to put him in🙃 (if anyone has thoughts on that drop it in the asks because my ability to think has dwindled...)

So I don't really know how to write Headcanons but here you go... I tried to be longer with Hoseok since I haven't written anything with him yet... but yeah, I tried to be brief so if you want to know more feel free to ask!

Hoseok

Hobi gives ‘best boy’ caretaker vibes. Always.

I kind of see him as the type that is very capable of looking after himself and knowing his limits but also kind of prefers to deal with it himself.

Like he would wake up one morning and feel a tightness in his chest or the beginnings of a sore throat and he would just type into their little group chat [if he is alone] or roll over in the bed and tell Taekook that he is probably coming down with something but that he’d take some medicine with him to work and not over do it.

And he would just continue his day as he normally would with the adjustments to cater for his health.

He doesn’t really have allergies [or any that he knows of- he might have a bird allergy – but surely everyone is sensitive to feathers.🙃.] and he has a relatively strong immune system. So when he does get sick his boyfriends always want to try to help even though he prefers to cope with it mostly by himself. They find alternatives and loopholes in caring for him that doesn’t break any boundaries that he may put up.

E.g. After a long day at work he would come home to find some cough drops casually set on the coffee table or in his bedside drawer that definitely hadn’t been there that morning. Because he had taken all the cough drops they’d had left with him to work.

And that green blanket his mother had gotten for him years ago that he had packed in the storage cupboard will be draped welcomely over the back of their couch with a closed box of soft, lotion tissues – the ones they usually bought for Jungkook when his allergies were too intense, and he complained about the roughness or uselessness of normal tissues.

He’d wake up smelling like VapoRub that he had no memory of putting on and go to the kitchen to see one of his boyfriends has switched their usual breakfast of ‘coffee and cereal’ with herbal tea and a light broth or chopped up fruits.

He isn’t usually sneezy – or at least not as much as his boyfriends – but he has willingly tried to induce for Tae before, they concluded it a bit too much for him in the end as it would leave him with a frustrating burn in his sinuses that he found uncomfortable – so he just sticks to helping Taehyung play around with Kook.

If sick he’d probably be a bit wary of too much physical contact with Taekook, since they both tend to get sick easier, but they always end up coaxing him closer to them by the end of the day– especially if he was feeling worse than usual.

He’s more prone to getting a mild flu once or twice a year than getting the usual colds that the other two often bring into their home and it doesn’t really affect his daily activities that much [unless he is forcing himself to work while very ill] – rather his symptoms are more prominent at night or the early morning and often leaves him without much sleep or hoarse from how his coughing or sneezing may have damaged his throat in the night.

His sneezes are harsh on his throat so if his sinuses are being unusually bothersome the chances of his throat hurting or him losing his voice are high – which is when he eventually has to make the decision to call off of work since he wouldn’t be able to teach properly.

It is only on the occurrence that he feels sick to the point of nausea or high fevers that he seeks out the direct attention of his boyfriends – feeling too bad to physically care for himself properly and needing to rest beside someone warm that will gently rub his back or stomach until he falls asleep.

But he generally tends to fall into the role of caretaker purely because he is the least to get sick and because he is the most observant. He notices small characteristic changes easily in the people he spends time with and therefore is quick to respond to those changes however he has learnt is best.

 

Taehyung

·         Often picks up colds that spiral badly from him making rash or impulsive decisions with his health. Although he was a lot rasher when he was younger and didn’t have the best control and understanding of his magic – now he thinks a bit more clearly but is still prone to emotional decision making.

·         He hates to be alone when he isn’t feeling well as it brings up bad / lonely memories of when he was a child and had to be completely isolated or heavily medicated when sick – so he tends to gravitate to any of his close friends for comfort and is especially clingy with hopekook.

·         He is quite vocal when unwell, if not to complain about being sick and what he’s feeling, then just to make sure that people know that he wants them to stay close to him. Attention and presence is pretty important to him as a form of care.

·         While it is not blatantly obvious, and he doesn’t often act on it, he does have the slightest of a sneeze fetish – although he has only ever explored or entertained the idea with Jungkook [and once with hobi].

·         The man is loud [obviously] but I like to think allergy sneezes are a lot quieter and more irritating for him.

·         He’s pretty sneezy even without being sick. While he’s never had it properly confirmed, he is convinced that he is allergic to dust and at the very least – half of Namjoon’s inane plant-baby collection that he hoards in the basement [read: dungeons- they’re torturing enough to be classified as such] of their store.

·         A lot of the time he tries to work when unwell but gets sent home as a health and safety hazard [less contamination purposes, more Yoongi being concerned about whether their store will survive any random magic outbursts on top of general clumsiness]

·         Overall, just give him some love and attention and he’s happy.

 

 

Jungkook

Much like Tae, his immune system isn’t the greatest, but additionally his heightened senses does make him a bit more sensitive to scents. [Which work both for and against him depending on the situation.]

He is a bit more reserved when speaking about feeling sick to others but also tends to crave attention from those close to him.  It took a while for him to be able to open up about when he is vulnerable with either of his boyfriends since he tends to become a bit more submissive, but eventually he grew to trust them both to feel safe with them in any state.  

With allergies he is more forthcoming with admitting that he doesn’t feel great, but usually still keeps information to himself about being sick until someone else figures it out or he physically can’t go without telling anyone.

He also tends to dabble with the idea of a sneeze fetish, but again, specifically with Taehyung and Hobi.

He does have to deal with rhinitis which often leaves him feeling unwell and irritated because of his allergies. Which can leave him a bit snappy depending on how bad he feels and unfortunately the attitude usually falls on his boyfriends and friends, but they don’t hold it against him.

His sneezes are often done with hitching and a lot of false starts, and he never seems to carry any medication for himself [specific to hybrids] unless it is put in his bag by someone else – but he usually is carrying stuff that would be helpful to others.

He can be quite possessive when it comes to scents, since he's so sensitive to them. He doesn't really like when there are too many unfamiliar scents hanging around his home and often scents his boyfriends to get rid of whatever "outdoor" smells cling to them after their days out. 

He tends to get stressed out easily about school which puts a lot of strain on him so he is often suffering from random headaches or migraines. The scent of lavender or peppermint in the air helps to relieve the pain, so when either Tae or Hobi get home they are immediately alerted what is wrong and are able to quietly and gently help him where they can.

"Jeonghan, you need to rest." it was apparent in the dark circles under his eyes, in the way he kept flipping back to the same pages in the score book, rereading them because the first 50 times the information hadn't actually sunk in. he was digging himself into a hole, a cycle that was all too familiar for your "Singing obsessed" idiot of a best friend, and you knew you had to pull him from it before he got in too deep.

the boy in question let out a non-committal hum, not showing any intention of moving from where he was hunched over his desk.

you sighed. "Jeonghan, seriously. you look like you're gonna pass out any second. you don't want to break your glasses again, do you?"

he grimaced at the reminder of last year's music Exam's, where he'd been so exhausted he'd fallen asleep on his desk right in the middle of class, and had broken the frames of his glasses in the process. but before you could make fun of him or continue your nagging, his frown turned into his signature shit-eating grin.

"aw, are you worried about little old me?" he fluttered his eyelashes at you, and though sometimes you fell weak to his attempts at charming or flustering, the heavy bags under his eyes made his attempt to distract you unsuccessful, and you simply gave him a deadpan expression.

"obviously, idiot," you got up from where you were sat on his bed, walking to the desk so you could spin him around in his chair and grab his hands. "come on, up up up! you look like you haven't slept in days," he opened to mouth to speak, but you cut him off. "and don't even try to say that you'll go to bed early tonight, you and i both know your roommates are probably gonna take over your room again, so you should get sleep while you can."

"my, you're awfully pushy today, aren't you?" despite his words, Jeonghan let himself be pulled over to his bed by you, laughing when you just firmly pointed at it, like you were commanding a dog. "and so forward! please, at least buy me dinner first."

you felt heat flare behind your cheeks at his words, shoving him towards his bed, ready to be done with his bull for today. but of course Jeonghan would never let it be that easy, as he took hold of your arm as he fell onto the lower bunk, making you fall down with him and practically land on top of him.

you pushed yourself up on your arms, glaring down at the boy. "Jeonghan!-"

before you could get off the bunk however, he wrapped one of his arms around your waist, pulling you back down gently. he gave an obnoxiously fake yawn, "wow i guess you were right, i do need rest! i bet i could fall asleep right now..."

and with that he closed his eyes, beginning to let out fake snores but not loosening his hold on you, effectively trapping you there, now laying beside him. feeling your cheeks heat at the close proximity, you couldn't help but question why in the world you were even this asshole's friend.

after a moment, he stopped his fake snoring, meeting your eyes with a look that was no doubt meant to be a challenge. with some effort you were sure you could squirm out of his hold, but if you didn't move it would also be hard for him to move meaning he might actually stay in bed and get some much needed rest...

pushing aside your pride and willing yourself to not get too flustered, you broke eye contact first, shifting not to escape, which Jeonghan was probably expecting based on his annoying grin coming back full force, but to make yourself more comfortable, snuggling yourself up to him while still leaving room to breathe.

he tensed up, making a confused noise, and for a few tension filled moments you prepared yourself to apologize profusely for overstepping boundaries and flee the country so you never had to see him again, but then he readjusted his arm around your waist and let out the breath he had been holding, moving to place his glasses on the desk next to the bunk before sinking into the bed, finally relaxing for what was maybe the first time that day.

your heart was light with relief your impulsive in the moment plan had worked and your stomach fluttered with butterflies you didn't care to put a name to in the moment. instead you let yourself enjoy the warmth of Jeonghan's embrace as you gently slipped into slumber.

Jeonghan awoke to two very odd things: the sounds of cameras going off with whispered conversations mixed in, and a warm body cuddled up to him, a sensation so nice he almost considered simply going back to sleep.

"shh you're gonna wake them up!"

"if anyone's gonna wake them up it would be you, dumb-ass."

well, there went the thought of going back to a peaceful sleep. opening his eyes, the singer could make out the fuzzy shapes of some of his roommates, with a familiar blueish haired blob and a slightly smaller pink haired blob standing over the bunk where he had fallen asleep beside you, each holding what had to be their phones, and he couldn't help but be glad he had gotten some rest when he did, because he certainly wasn't going to get any now.
