so I've seen the theories on Klaus and I'm so confused honestly. I really don't know, they make sense but why go that route if him being afraid of germs? he didn't realise he was immortal until like 3 days ago.
does seem plausible though, he is the last to drink the shot and he looks nervous asf about something. maybe he's just sober?
god he looks sad

Since season 4 is the final season then I think that it’s only fair that it’s the season that Klaus gets the spotlight and goes a little apeshit as a treat.

No shut up, okay? No, no just, shut up. Listen. Listen to me.
Klaus Hargreeves is not chaotic neutral. He is chaotic good.
Hear me out. Just hear me out.
What he wants more than anything is for everyone to be happy. He's the first to compliment and comfort his siblings. He risks his own safety repeatedly to save others. He sees the best in even the worst people. He talks a big game about hating his father, but when he meets an alternative Reginald Hargreeves who by all accounts is just as much of a bastard, he takes pity on him, tries to help him reconcile with the rest of the family.
He makes a lot of bad choices. He takes short term solutions to long term problems. He does some real shady shit. He's not a paragon by any stretch. However, I don't think someone who so often makes choices based on helping others can really be considered neutral.

he is mad because he think’s Simon should either fight harder to be himself, prove himself, or suck up his problems and find a new way of life.
You see, to him, seeing simon like this kinda triggers a nerve, since,
He couldve very well ended up that way, but he diddnt, and he feels bad for simon, and wants to help, but his mind is also very determined to get what he wants, sorta like simon. So he wants simon Not to give up And to keep trying, but he understands where he is coming from and it kills him. Hence why this nerves him.
Because He did get what he wanted, because he searched far enough. Hence he feels it’s possible, you just cant give up.
(Yet again he was sober for the… thousands of years alive)

Klaus: you ever wish you could detach your legs like a lego figure and let them run around while your torso and head get some sleep?

Five: *long sigh*
Literally everyone else: "what. What is it."
Five: *tired stare*
Five: "I am experiencing the effects of being sober."

Warning: mentions of drugs and addiction.
I was gonna do a whole long post about this but I’ll just say it in about 40 words instead:
Klaus being suddenly sober in s2 was bad writing and his sobriety should’ve been something both him and us as the audience got to slowly earn over multiple episodes because addiction doesn’t just vanish, especially not when you’re in a cult in the 60s.
