Im Getting real SICK Of EA/Sims 4 shit...
So, After that update my game has been Laggy and glitchy. I had to delete all my Gameplay mods and redownload them. It was working again but I had to start a new save file. then suddenly for the first time my PC crashed and restarted.
Then when I attempted to launch my game last night, I was getting this "game Requires an update to launch" but my game as already up to date. I Repaired my game, Repaired EA app, Cleared The cache for both. Even Uninstalled and reinstalled EA App. Then when I gave and started typing this to see if anyone one on here could help, MY GAME OPENED. but once it got to Main menu my sims looked Broken (That Patchy white '??' marks on them and weird random Weird skin tones) I'm SOOOOO over this. can anyone help please??

Last night I read my children tale... to my two daughters, because it was heavily inspired by them.
they loved it and wanted for me to read it, again and again... I consider that a win...
I saw a few things I need to correct but I felt it is pretty good.... If only I could find someone to do the cover (i tried but it's really not that good).
if anyone knows someone?

I can’t remember if Pina Colada playing in the ride up from Tartarus was a real thing or if I was high when I read the House of Hades

one of the biggest things I can advocate for (in academia, but also just in life) is to build credibility with yourself. It’s easy to fall into the habit of thinking of yourself as someone who does things last minute or who struggles to start tasks. people will tell you that you just need to build different habits, but I know for me at least the idea of ‘habit’ is sort of abstract and dehumanizing. Credibility is more like ‘I’ve done this before, so I know I can do it, and more importantly I trust myself to do it’. you set an assignment goal for the day and you meet it, and then you feel stronger setting one the next day. You establish a relationship with yourself that’s built on confidence and trust. That in turn starts to erode the barrier of insecurity and perfectionism and makes it easier to start and finish tasks. reframing the narrative as a process of building credibility makes it easier to celebrate each step and recognize how strong your relationship with yourself can become

I’ve been obsessed with the Olympics for the past week, and obsessed with Dick Grayson for longer, so here’s the crossover we all deserve.
Plus, gorgeous sweaty acrobat in gymnastics poses? Only positives.

I love when fiction makes the audience feel guilty about their role as the audience. When something fucked up is treated as a joke but later it's recognised how fucked up it was and the audience feels guilty for finding it funny. When a character breaks the fourth wall to plead for help, and you can't do anything so you just watch. And you know that the characters pain isn't real, but they're begging for help and you're not helping because their suffering is entertainment for you

Replacing physical buttons and controls with touchscreens also means removing accessibility features. Physical buttons can be textured or have Braille and can be located by touch and don't need to be pressed with a bare finger. Touchscreens usually require precise taps and hand-eye coordination for the same task.
Many point-of-sale machines now are essentially just a smartphone with a card reader attached and the interface. The control layout can change at a moment's notice and there are no physical boundaries between buttons. With a keypad-style machine, the buttons are always in the same place and can be located by touch, especially since the middle button has a raised ridge on it.
Buttons can also be located by touch without activating them, which enables a "locate then press" style of interaction which is not possible on touchscreens, where even light touches will register as presses and the buttons must be located visually rather than by touch.
When elevator or door controls are replaced by touch screens, will existing accessibility features be preserved, or will some people no longer be able to use those controls?
Who is allowed to control the physical world, and who is making that decision?
