need to think about something taffy and coco can do during the timeskip because i am now thinking it would be awesome if all mochis guild members joined an (at least partially) antagonistic purpose after she left and the timeskip begins with a bunch of missions trying to get them back

So… you may have head but Razor.
BUT IT WAS IN SELF DEFENSE YOU SWEAR!
He just, POPPED UP outta NOWHERE! How else were you supposed to react?! By not attacking on sight???
So now here we are. With a knocked out Razor on the grassy floor as you and your family of churls and slimes stand over him.
Huh.
You had no fucking clue what you were supposed to do now. Do you… drag him out of the forest? Find a wolf from his pack??
Maybe not the last one cause wolves eat boars…
Anyway.
Dragging him out means that you’d have contact with other characters and you were NOT prepared for that. I mean, at this point you had built such a strong connection with the mobs around you that you kinda forgot about the characters?
You also had to focus on the fact that you were a boar now. Not a human. For survival.
You are now something that poofs into meat after it dies.
So as you stared, you failed to notice a rustling of bushes behind you, but when another human form rose from them…
You ended up kicking Bennett in the head via hind legs.
૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍰🍧🍫୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚
So, apparently churls enjoyed the average human sacrifice every once and a while. Which is fair cause sometimes you gotta let off a little steam, you know?
But not like this.
The two were tied to a rather long stick over a fire as churls of every type danced around while singing.
You simply sat your fine boar ass in the grass looking a little less than pleased at the situation.
As they continued to roast the preteens over an open fire like chestnuts, you finally realized that “Holy shit they are actually cooking them I need to stop that-“.
And stop that you did!
By spitting up the equivalent of a lake onto their fire.
…Cool.
As water logged churls stood by in shock, you began to nibble at the startlingly strong vines wrapped around the duo.
And by gods those were strong vines.
But your jaws were stronger.
And now you have two children at your feet, drenched and still somehow passed out Jesus it’s been a few hours how hard did you hit them?-
And now you had no clue what to do. Right back at the same dilemma that made you hesitate to save them. Wtf do you do with them now???
Your hesitation was apparently apparent as you felt a had rake through your fur. Looking back you noticed a hilichurl petting you softly, gently directing you towards an opening in the forest.
Allowing it to guide you, you found that a couple adventurers from the guild calling out for Bennet.
Fuck.
૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍧🍮🍩୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚
Now they were tied to a tree deeper in the forest. Only difference is that they were now awake.
And thrashing about.
And maybe a bit sacred.
You sat on your haunches in front of them as they thrashed against their bindings. Something you noticed was that they weren’t using their visions.
…Weird.
Anyway as you continued to stare at them and them at you are they pulled against the vines, you noted that Bennett had stopped and was now just staring at you.
He was opening his mouth.
Holy shit was he gonna speak to you?
“Hey there little guy..?”
HOLY SHIT BENNETT SPOKE TO YOU-
“W-would you be a good little boar and get help?.. or something?.. please?”
Your only response was a snort, then you turned to Razor. You wanted to see if he’d have anything to say.
(Not that that was gonna change anything you’d still help them-)
“Uhh… Good boar? Friendly boar? Boar smell weird… boar help Bennet and Razor??”
Yep you loved them.
Giving a small squeal, you finally made up your mind. This was enough human interaction for a while, so you’d find a wolf, bring it back and then let it guide them to the Wolvendom in order to drop them off with Razor’s pack.
While you stood triumphantly with small sparkles surrounding you, the two boys sweat dropped at the sight of a somehow smug boar?
Boars can’t move their faces like that, can they?
Bennett hesitated… can they?
Coughing and shaking his head, Bennett finally noticed you were walking away and the hardcore growling Razor was doing.
“Hey! W-where are ya going little guy?” He called out.
You just turned, snorted, then continued on your way.
“W-wait!”
“Stupid weird smelling boar…”
૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍫🧁🍭୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚
Trotting across hills and avoiding the odd traveler as best you could, you finally found yourself at the Wolvendom. Shaking off your nerves, you head inside.
You slowly made your way through the grass, acutely aware of all the wolves surrounding you. Letting out little huffs you found yourself in a clearing.
A clearing….
Wait….
OH SHIT-
“Hello little one.”
ANDRIUS YOU FORGOT ABOUT ANDRIUS-
“What is a small boar like you doing here where it is not safe?”
His voice had a teasing tone to it, which confused you. This was the literal Wolf of the North, the man who embodied wolves. An actual GOD of the pack. Why wasn’t he hunting you down on sight???
Your confusion was plastered on your face, causing the wolf to chuckle.
“As a creature connected to Teyvat, did you not expect me to realize when The Creator stands before me? My head bows to you, O Mighty One.”
And now a kneeling Andirus was in front of you, as well as seemingly every wolf in the forest.
… So they weren’t going to eat you. Nice to know.
As you tried to communicate with the large blue and white wolf what you needed, only small squeals and oinks made it out. God this was pissing you off. With the churls, they just seemed to know! While it would be nice to talk with someone, you hadn’t needed to for a long while. This was bullshit! Now you’re getting pissed off!-
“Breath my Lord. Have you forgotten?”
Forgotten what? Huh?-
“It seems you have, the boar is not your only form. Any beast that has its soul connected to the heart of Teyvat. Every creature, every animal, they are you children. You have taken the forms of all as you encompass all. Try taking the form of a wolf and speak to me.”
He was acting like a god damn tutorial. Which… was actually fairly needed in this time of… well, need.
So you could do other animals huh? Let’s just see about this. Focusing all your willpower into it, your skin began to shift and turn, fur growing longer… slowly you transformed…
Into a fucked up half boar half wolf abomination.
AND JESUS DID IT HURT-
Loud whines and whimpers mixed with loud squeals and barks left you maw as you hopped around, before forcing yourself back into your now more favored form, a boar.
Yeah never again. You’d rather struggle.
Sighing and placing ‘shapeshifting’ on the back burner for now, you simply walked forward and grabbed some of the larger wolves fur in your mouth in order to drag him. Staring down he let out a small chuckle (He can chuckle???) and began to walk forward, allowing you to trot in front of him.
“Of course my Lord, lead the way.”
Thank the gods he had nothing to say about that mishap. (Maybe he was scared of you smiting him… hehe…)
૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍡🍪🍬୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚
Keeping a brisk pace, your small form had finally found itself in front of the two boys once more. It seemed as though they had tired themselves out from struggling, but we’re still awake. And Bennett’s eyes lit up upon see you. As they should.
“Hey there little guy! Did you get h-h- OH MY BABRBATOS!-“
Andrius, in all his glory, walked behind you as you sat there with a somehow even smugger expression than before. A large abundance of wolves had taken their place behind him, looking like a sea of grays and blacks.
“H-h-h-h-h-“ You’ve broken Bennett, now to check on Razor.
…The poor wolf boy also looked shocked.
You slid your tusks under the vines and pulled, snapping them off and allowing the boys to fall to the grassy floor. And then two hilichurls gave them their visions.
Oh. So that’s why they weren’t using them-
You watched as Razor nudged at Andrius and a few other wolves before turning to you.
He was walking towards you…
His hand outreached towards you…
And he rested it gently on your head.
You nuzzled in to his hand as small happy tears began to run down your cheeks. You basically rammed your head into his palm, sucking up all his attention. He seemed shocked, then happily began to rub both his hands into you, a small smile on his face.
Bennett watched with in astonishment, before grinning and laughing, rubbing your back with his hands. And h o l y s h i t did it feel good.
Hell, even Andrius began to nuzzle you.
At some point the petting stopped - which made you sad you will admit - but as you watched them walk off you felt pretty good about yourself because like, you just helped some characters! Even if you were the reason they were in trouble in the first place…
But that’s not the important part!
The important part is now you had some friends! And they were pretty neat.
But now you had to figure out how the fuck to deal with your newfound ‘shapeshifting’ powers… May God have mercy on all vision holders.

Omake~~ A Boar and two Boys walk into a bar~~
“Is this the onE NO IT IS NOT RUN RAZOR-“
Ever since that day, Razor and Bennett have been trying to find that weird boar that both kidnapped then released them.
The reason they had been out that day was because it was Razor’s turn to hunt for his pack. Sure, wolves hunt in groups but Razor ironically enjoyed hunting alone, but Bennett was always welcome.
Razor had seen the boar, saying that it had “smelled weird”, whatever that meant, and began to follow it. Of course, Bennett lost him for a moment but when he found him, he was met with the back hooves of a boar.
And the rest was history.
When they went around trying to tell the tale of the boar that had summoned Andrius, the people of Mondstate thought it was just that.
A tall tale.
The only person who seemed mildly interested was the bard Venti, but that was quickly shut down when he started trying to figure out rhymes and how to make a song out of it.
So they decided to find it on their own.
“Bennett need to stop running up to boars. Razor will smell weird boar.” Razor had grabbed onto Bennetts shirt while saying that.
“But the faster we find it, the faster we can show it off!” Bennett argued.
The two began to bicker in the field they had been searching in, it was near where the forest they had found the boar in, and the field was currently occupied by boars so common sense dictated that it should be out and about, grazing away.
Of course, you don’t follow their stupid mortal logic.
“Do… do you hear that, Razor?”
“Yeah. Sounds like pig in sky.”
“Well pigs can’t fly so-“
“DUCK!-“
Razor forced Bennett’s head down, pushing them both to the ground as four wild winds whipped around them. A large dragon and a hawk flew by as an equally large lion and wolf speed past.
“The four winds…” Bennett whispered.
Razor sniffed the air.
“AND WEIRD SMELLING BOAR!”

Warning -> fluff | reader gets a blister on their foot, genshin men notice and provide respite from the discomfort | pre-relationship (it's silly, and dumb, but let me have this)
Includes: Diluc, Xiao
Character X GN Reader (adventure guild reader*) | Anthology
Tumblr media
A-N: I was planning on writing for a few more characters, but I'm a bit slow in my genshin right now, plus I *should* be resting ... 人(_ _*)
Diluc
"Be right there!" you shouted over the calls echoing in the hall. Your hand dropped from your lips and back to the stack of rolled papers in your arms. The guild was busier than normal. Perhaps it was because of the snow fading from the streets, or the warmer wind blowing in from the south. Being surrounded by the lake meant damper and colder winters, but you didn't mind.
You loved the snow.
What you didn't love was returning to restrictive shoes now that the cobblestone streets were less barred by ice. You missed your warm fur-lined boots.
"Hey, got a few more requests for you to review," you told one of the auditors as you leaned onto the polished wood counter that separated you from the workers just inside. You tapped the toe of your shoe on the floor to force room between your heel and the leather rubbing against it. "Oh, and this came from Alfry." You reached into your pocket and handed a folded, sealed letter to the attendant.
After waiting for several minutes, and shifting from one foot to the other - relief waning and waxing - you made your way outside toward the Kiosk near the front of Mondstadt. It took a while, you were particularly slow on the stone steps of the city since each one put added pressure on your heels. You could feel a blister on the horizon.
Katheryne greeted you with a wave when she saw you.
She was, without a doubt, one of your favorite people. She didn't lock you in long, uninteresting conversations about her life outside of work. She just thanked you for the updated commissions and let you be on your way. You wished everyone was like Katheryne.
It wasn't that you hated talking to people. You just preferred to get your work done and found it distracting to get lost in small talk about the weather. But you learned to be pleasant and control your drifting eyes that willed your soul to be anywhere but there.
When you approached the Guild, someone called you over and explained you were being requested in one of the assessment rooms. A room used by evaluators and requestors to work out the details of a commission. You weren't an evaluator - so who could possibly be asking for you?
You imagined several scenarios except for this one. The one where Diluc Ragnvindr was standing on the other side of the door, waiting for - you. In fact, you were so unprepared, taken aback, that you rechecked the room number.
It was odd to see Diluc outside of his normal patterns. The man was routine. Days spent at Angels Share, days absent from the city while he tended to his estate at the Dawn Winery. You had several run-ins with him over the years since his reappearance, but they were always in public spaces. Fleeting, nervous moments when you'd gather the courage to ask him for a drink while he worked or make polite - short - conversation when he dropped it off. You didn't even know he knew you worked at the Adventurers Guild.
"Sir Ragnvindr, is something - how can I help you?" you asked as you stepped inside the room and let the heavy door close behind you.
"Have I pulled you away from your work?"
"Yes," you said but caught yourself, "No. I mean, yes, but it's alright. Are you alright?" The thought crossed your mind that perhaps something had happened. An issue at the Winery or the tavern, maybe he thought you were the best person to help him? Not sure why. But you did know a lot of adventurers.
"I am well. Please," he gestured to the table and chairs beside him. Crossing the room, you noticed a tall, decorative bag on the corner of the table. The top was knotted by someone with experience. Diluc placed his hand on the table, and you stopped a few feet from him. He looked -- odd. Out of sorts even.
"Did you need something from the Guild? I'm not sure if anyone told you, but I'm not an evaluator, but I can find someone who can assist you in building a commission report."
"I do not require one. I am ..." he clenched his jaw and fumbled. "Please, sit," he repeated, gesturing to the chair slightly pulled out beside you.
Confused, you took a seat.
You considered yourself a rational person, a relatively calm person. One that could keep their head in most situations, but when the man you could hardly look at long enough to breathe knelt in front of you, lifted your calf, and began to untie your shoe, you yelped so loud it startled him.
"Dilu- I mean, Sir Ragnvindr, what are you doing!?" You reached for his arm but pulled back at the last second. A war raged inside your mind - one billowing urge shouted to push him away so you could steady your fluttering heart, and the other shrieked, terrified of making contact out of fear he'd know the truths of your unsettled heart.
"These are uncomfortable, are they not?"
You glanced at your shoes. "I mean - yes, but you don't have to worry about it. Please," you begged, fingers hovering above his hand, body fighting the will to rip free from his grasp. "Sir Ragn-"
"Diluc," he interrupted and looked up at you, "I much prefer when you call me Diluc."
You didn't know how to respond, didn't know how to react, so you just sat frozen while he carefully removed your shoes and tended to the wounds they had caused.
His touch was warm. Violently warm. It was like heat seeped from every bit of him. Tendrils of flames licked across his brow, his cheeks, his jawline. You were so close you could smell the earth and trapped dust from the melting snow trapped in his clothes.
He placed the bandage across your foot and carefully wrapped it until it was secure.
"T-Thank you," you mumbled. You were stuck between being embarrassed by what was happening and being smitten by it. You were in a haze. Your eyes could barely focus on his hands as he worked, barely noticing the stick he placed beside your right foot. The medicine he applied had soothed the soft burn of the blister.
He stood and a wave of his scent washed over you. It took a moment for you to catch your breath, but when you did, you reached for your shoes that he had placed on the table.
"I'll repay you for the treatment."
"No need," he replied as he tugged at the decorative cloth bag. His back blocked you from what was inside. You worked on stretching the laces of your shoes so you could slip them over your foot. Just as you were about to place them on, Diluc returned and stalled your actions, taking the shoe from you and returning it to the table. He easily held your calf and slipped on another shoe. A flat, wide one that wouldn't rub against you the way your own had. "How does it fit?" he asked as he carefully slid it over your heel and adjusted it until it was on completely.
The shoe was elegant, beautiful. Something you would only dream of buying - most of your clothes were from sales and take-bins of neighbors doing their yearly cleaning. These were --
"Wait - did you buy these?"
"I did. But I was unaware of your size. If these are not satisfactory, I purchased several others which may be more suitable for you," he explained and that's when you noticed the stack of boxes now exposed from the cloth bag. Two boxes were placed to the side, another still in it, while the last was open, the lid placed at an angle as if forgotten.
"You bought," you paused, disbelief pulling in your brows, "multiple pairs?"
"It seemed better to purchase multiple than to guess. Though I could have inquired from you directly," he trailed off as if the thought had only just crossed his mind.
But only one crossed yours, "Why?"
He looked up at you, still kneeling and preparing your other foot to accept your new shoes' partner, "I notice you. You would be unable to work in this state."
"Noticed me?"
"Yes. Besides, I couldn't rightfully ... never mind."
"What," you blurted, hanging on his every word.
He glanced at you and then looked back at your feet. There was a pause, a heavy pause in the air. "To see you in discomfort. It - It did not sit well with me."
You sat in silence as he ensured the shoes fit, as he laced them, and made sure they wouldn't irritate the bandage. You held your tongue and swallowed the pounding pressure in your chest when he lifted you from the chair and made sure you could stand before he let go.
You breathed him in while he stood before you.
"I will be at Angel's Share tonight. I can set aside some time for you, should you find yourself-"
"Okay," you blurted again, followed it up with an embarrassed sorry. It made him laugh, and you snatch the lurching urge to jump on him.
"Until then," he hummed, a smile tugging at his lips. "Do not rush in the meantime. I have already given my recommendations to the guild to allow you rest, though I do not imagine you'll heed it."
Diluc packed up the bag and bid you farewell, lingering his voice on the sound of your name, his eyes on your warm face. He slipped out of the room and left you in disbelief in a pair of beautiful crimson shoes.
--
Xiao
Why did you decide to wear these shoes?
You thought at least twenty times as you trudged down the path. As you hiked over the mountain passes that had seen better days in their time. A giant bolder blocked you a few paces back and you were still brushing yourself off from the unprepared scramble; you found a tear in your clothes and groaned.
For an adventurer, you got off pretty lucky. Only taking the low-priced requests. Ones left for running between towns, helping clear out someone's back room, or helping with a shipment. You weren't interested in the daring adventures that some in the guild would take, snatch up before you even had a chance to read the whole thing. And you certainly weren't about to follow in the footsteps of that strange traveler who - for a while - was accused of killing the Liyue Archon. (You still had your suspicions).
Nope, you were complacent, content with the simple jobs that helped you keep the lights on and splurge on the things that caught your eye. One of which was currently on your feet and digging into the skin uncomfortably. You hopped on one foot and shoved your finger inside the edge of the shoe in the hopes of stretching out the tight leather.
The top of the path crept over the horizon and you picked up the pace to reach it. You adored cresting the hill and seeing the harbor stretch across the bay, how the tall mountainside loomed above her - a watchful guardian, a shield and protector. You sighed and adjusted the pack on your back. The road into the harbor wasn't long, but it was steep, and you prepared yourself for a rough descent with your aching feet.
Every step slowed you down. Each one more uncomfortable than the last. You thought about taking off your shoes but didn't want to catch the disapproving glares that came from Liyue's citizens. So, you pushed forward.
A plume of green and black smoke enveloped you. You would have shouted but you were used to the sensation and how it obscured your view. Months ago you stumbled upon the smoke's owner in a field. He seemed injured so you went to check on him only to learn he was fine, and rather unappreciative of your concern - actually, he was irritatingly annoyed that you had distracted him from his lay-about.
"Hello, little Xia--woah!" Instead of appearing near you like he had before, you were suddenly floating in the green smoke. It whipped through your hair, tugged at your loose clothes, and bit at your skin. You felt like you were falling, and then you were - into the arms of the Adeptus who normally kept his respectful distance from you.
When your eyes adjusted to the return of light, you twisted to look at him, one arm draped over his shoulders as if he had placed it there.
"What are you-?" The words caught in your throat. Confusion, surprise, and bashful bewilderment tickled your cheeks and stole your ability to speak. Your face was inches from him. Closer than it ever had been before.
"You're injured," he spoke softly, matter-of-factly, his eyes drifting to your feet. You could already see the broken skin around your heel.
"It's nothing. Just my shoes," you explained as you stared at your own feet as if that explanation meant anything to him.
"Hold on," he said as he held you to him and the two of you disappeared into a puff of ethereal phthalo.
--
Xiao placed you on the small stool you had left out on the balcony the night before. He was careful to not let you crash into it. His strength - despite his size - was easy to sense as he eased you onto it and waited for you to settle.
"Thanks," you hummed, stealing a peek at his eyes. Eyes the shade of ginkgo trees in fall, eyes that held eons of history and centuries of sadness. Xiao didn't speak much, but his searching and timid eyes quenched your thirst for his voice.
He lifted your leg and you covered your mouth to avoid making a noise. Before you could ask him a question, he withdrew into his haze and was gone. You sat motionless for only a few seconds, and contemplated entering your house as you, in a daze, took off your shoes but when you rose to leave, Xiao reappeared holding a small container.
"For your injury. It's important to - take care of yourself," he mumbled the last part of his sentence as he held the container out to you. Averting eyes, open fingers unmoving, waiting for you to take it.
Your fingertips brushed his skin. "Did you get this for me?" He crossed his arms and didn't answer but his actions still made your chest warm and lips pull into a giddy smile.
"Don't dally," he scolded and threw you a sharp stare, "Or you'll be left with a scar."
"Oh right." You nodded and uncapped the container. The salve held a potent medicinal scent. "You don't have to stay," you added, a little sad at the thought of him leaving but recognizing that he didn't enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. His avoidance one of the many secrets locked in the amber of his soul.
"I'll wait."
You opened your mouth to protest but he turned his back to you, crossed his arms. Watched, observed. Protective.
"Thank you, Xiao," you whispered and chuckled at the grunt that floated toward you from the Adeptus statue standing near the corner of your balcony.

Hello I have a request that came to my mind. What about the sumeru boys reacting to yn staring at them as the work out. (Are any genshin characters if you like) I wanted to write this but unfortunately I have zero writing skills so if you did it would be great :D
I’ll write this with the characters in my list, yesyes
love this request 😈
watching the sumeru boys work out
(romantic, separate)
Cyno x reader; Scara x reader (implied that y/n is part of the Adventurers’ Guild); Tighnari x reader
Cyno
-seeing Cyno work out isn’t that rare, it is part of his job after all.
-ngl, he might even invite you to admire his super skills; let’s just say he doesn’t mind your presence.
-so make it spear training or just running, lifting weights and all that stuff, you’re always welcome to watch! he’s happy with your presence in general.
-let’s say he’s doing push-ups: normally, he would do them the classic way, but if you’re there, he might as well use one hand… hell, he might even try with just one finger (he fails)
-“you’re so resistant, you’ve been doing push-ups for the past… uhh..?” “push-ups? love, please, I’m just lifting Teyvat up and down.” pls ignore this ndkwnaml
-when he’s taking a break, he tries to look hot while drinking too
-no but like fr, if you’re just chilling in a corner, sat on a chair, bro will come to you running slowly while breathing heavily, he’ll grab the water bottle and try to make some of it drip all the way down to his abs to then take deep breaths while looking at you. he’ll wipe the liquid off his face and then lean in to steal a kiss, using his hands to cup your face.
-he drinks really often when you’re around 🤷‍♀️
-he also makes sure to keep close to you
-“what did you think of that?” asks for your opinion after any exercise he does, expecially the hard ones or the cool ones.
-shows you some tricks he learned after a lot of practice (pls act super surprised, he’ll feel proud of himself)
Scaramouche
-you have to be sneaky for this one
-scenario: after finishing your dailies,  you claim the extra rewards, walk around the Sumeru city for a bit when suddenly you hear Scara’s voice (aka his whimpers) and that surely catches your attention, so you decide to peek through a big plant at the entrance of the building you heard it from and see the beautiful sight of your boyfriend lifting weights that might be twice as him.
-you stare for some time and woah, how does he do that? he looked so small and tiny but now? whole new impression, so there you are, sticking your head between some leaves while looking at shirtless Scara who’s turned the other way.
-well, you do it ‘till you can
-“hey, you! what are you doing?!” a random man yells at you, turns out he thought you were vandalizing the plants and as you both apologize to each other for the misunderstanding, your s/o is already looking your way, chuckling and grabbing his shirt as he walks up to you.
-“something caught your eye?” he teases you as you’re obviously flustered he found out what you were doing. “how long have you been enjoying the show for?” he smirks, waiting for an anwser. “I was just passing by, when suddenly… oh look, someone’s calling for you inside” he doesn’t turn around after you say that “no, nobody is. now anwser”
-well good luck getting out of that
-he keeps teasing you for the next 2/3 days but he actually thinks it’s cute how you like him in every shape and form (mutual feeling but he’ll never admit it)
-honestly though, he loves it when you watch him working out, he feels important so he shows off as much as possible, if you praise him he’ll be even happier and you’ll boost his confidence
Tighnari
-doesn’t work out really often because of work, but when he can, he doesn’t expect anyone to want to spectate
-he’s running some laps in a particular area of the Avidya Forest, he brought his bow and his arrows, he had laid them down on the ground next to some other objects he took along with him
-you arrive later on: you were previously looking for him since you hadn’t seen him in a couple of days, Collei was the one who told you he’d be where he is.
-he’s so concentrated, looking at his surroundings in the smallest detail, stopping every now and then to observe little plants or creatures, “so cute!” you think as you take a seat next to his belongings and watch as Tighnari proceeds to work out and really just warming up for the rest of the exercises he planned
-when it’s time for him to take his bow, he turns in your direction and his eyes open wide as he sees you. you wave hello and he comes up to you
-“y/n? when did you get here, love?” he asks you as he sits next to you “not long ago, actually. how are you?” “hmm..” he kisses you. “I’m fine. better than before, since you’re here.”
-you pet his head and ears while talking. the situation takes a gigantic turn and it’s now extra romantic and cute
-you guys cuddle a bit, then he asks you if you wanna join him and work out toghether

\(=•○•=)/ *shyly posts my Anemo/Genshin older Mirabel idea doodles*
Outfits, outfits, outfits (*▪︎*))
Mirabel owns a small clothing shop in Mond, she used to be part of the Adventurers Guild (ignore the fact I spelt it wrong btw) full time but does odd jobs every so often now. Her 'old' outfit was meant to be her adult outfit and the new one was meant to be her teen years but I liked the teen outfit better and decided to switch them.
She's actually friends with Chiori, they met in Inazuma and Chiori helped upgrade her outfit from the AG uniform (a few months after gaining her vision too). They write to each other and often use Kirara to send other things like fashion samples and trades.
Mirabel's outfit is meant to look like a butterfly wings.
Her shop isn't popular to non-locals but everyone in Mond knows to head to her place if you want something fixed or made.
She is also younger than Diluc, Jean's, and Keaya's ages but older than Bennett, Razor, Fischl.

Hi Question! Are there any people in thhe Genshin that helped us or Y/N or did everyone hate us and no one will be exemped from the BSD cast's revenge?
(like Kaeya,Albedo,Klee and etc since they're the characters mostly used that helped the Reader in SAGAU Imposter fanfics) ??
I use the idea, that False Creator, to establish their power, destroyed Celestia, making Abyss Order and Fatui incredibly loyal to them. Moreover, False Creator as kind and benevolent person.
Still, there are people, who will help Reader.
Who helped Reader:
1. Albedo, Alice and Klee - can't do much, unfortunately. Klee and kids are kept close to False Creator, because people of Teyvat believe, that it will be good for their kids to be in a presence of Creator. So, Alice and Albedo's hands are tied down, yet, they will do as much as she can.
2. Bennett, Razor and Fischl - don't believe, that Reader did something bad. Yet, they also can't do much. Fischl's parents believe in False Creator, Bennett's dads are also believing in False Creator and Razor's parental figures (Lisa and Varka) are hunting Reader. Moreover, The Adventures Guild can be disbanded, if False Creator asked Tsaritsa to do it.
3. Yaoyao - she is a kind girl and will help Reader. She will patch their wounds and help them to get from Liyue to Sumeru.
4. Baizhu and Qiqi - Baizhu is a doctor, and it would be against his principles to turn down the patient. He and Qiqi will try to help Reader, will even hide Reader for a few days, so they can have some rest.
5. Yoimiya - saw, how Reader played with kids, agreed to listen to them. Believed Reader. She and her father will keep Reader hidden until they find a way to leave Inazuma.
6. Nahida and Aranaras - know, that False Creator are false. Will protect Reader as much, as they can. Will end up locked away, protecting Reader.
7. Alhaitham and Kaveh - don't view False Creator as someone good. They will protect Reader after Nahida and Aranaras were captured.
8. Melusines - saw, that False Creator are false. Will protect Reader till the end, will even go against Neuvillette, who is on Fake Creator's side.
9. Furina - after what she had to go through, she doesn't believe, that False Creator has anything good in them. Why they didn't return earlier? Why they didn't stop the prophecy? She doesn't have much power, but she will do whatever she can, protecting Reader.
This people (creatures) will not only be spared from BSD Cast's revenge, they will be offered to be transported into the Real World.

I saw your praise nsfw post so may i request it with thoma and zhongli next :p
NS!FW. 18+ ONLY!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Come and feed, children. The food is ✨spicy✨
Sorry this took so long!! I’m feeling a lot better now so my creative brain juices are flowin’ again uwu.
Summary: Genshin boy’s with a reader who likes to be praised (just incase ya’ll didn’t see the previous request)
Warnings: Ns!fw, soft smut, public spice (Zhongli), Zhongli also gets a ego™️, swearing, established relationship, Gn!reader, not proof-read, I don’t know what else to put hdjfhdj.
Characters: Zhongli, Thoma.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zhongli~
I headcanon that this man is one of the most innocent about sex.
Like he knows about it and he knows what it’s for but he’s never had the need to look into it before you.
He’s a little confused at first but he got the spirit.
It doesn’t last long though because his godlike ego inFLATES.
When you moan out his name just a little louder after he praises you, my man couldn’t stop.
Instant turn on.
He enjoys being worshiped after all wink wink
Your relationship with zhongli was extremely honest.
There wasn’t a thing about you that the other didn’t know.
At least so he thought.
Little did he know you’d been hiding the fact that whenever he praised you for doing something, Your heartbeat went just a little bit faster.
One night after coming back from a special anniversary date, your conversation changed to a more intimate topic.
You and Zhongli had done the do once or twice before but you were just too busy with your commissions to have much time or energy to get all steamy, which Zhongli; being the gentleman he is, understood!
So when the conversation started about being a little more intimate, you shyly happened to mention that you really, really liked it when he praised you. A switch in him flipped.
He already enjoyed giving his people praise when it was due.
He was used to them almost begging to be acknowledged by the great geo archon!
But now he’s retired. The only person he wants to show that praise and appreciation for, is you.
So now, you were a little surprised to say the least when you found yourself pressed up against his statue while his fingers worked their magic on your sex, while his pretty lips left equally pretty marks on your neck and shoulder.
Something about the way you squirmed and whimpered out his name whenever he did praise you, sent sparks shooting up his body.
“You’re being so good, darling”
“How does it feel to have your archon praise you like this?”
“Such sweet sounds you make, dear. Why don’t you moan a little louder for your god~”
Needless to say that walking home is definitely going to be a challenge.
Good thing your boyfriend is more than happy to carry you back, all while whispering more praises and all the things he has in store for you when you get home~
Tumblr media
Thoma~
Ok ok, hear me out.
I think Thoma has a slightly kinky side to him.
He’s such a sweet, precious boy that he has to have some way he lets out any frustrations that he’s been too kind to bring up to others!
Not to mention, he’s so incredibly in love with you that he’ll do his best to make sure you feel good no matter what!
He also is very much into praising, so if you start doing the same to him while he’s praising you then things will get very spicy, very fast!
You and Thoma were slowly being recognised and Inazuma’s cutest couple.
You worked together as a team almost all the time. Helping people with any problems they had and just generally helping to keep the place as issue free as possible!
That doesn’t mean that I’d was always easy though. Sometimes things would just go wrong for no reason and it left the both of you feeling… frustrated.
And today was one of those days. You had both accidentally over slept leaving not time for your usual morning hugs or kisses before Thoma had to rush off to the Kamisato estate and you had to hurry over to the adventures guild to pick up your daily commissions!
After that things just seemed to go down hill. Not for any particular reason other than you were both just really pent up for some reason and it just kept getting worse.
So you couldn’t really say you were surprised when later that night, Thoma had you sitting on the table, legs around his waste while thrusting his pretty hips into you~
Nothing but both of your moans and curses could be heard throughout your house, along with the soft creaking of the wooden table underneath you while Thoma lovingly nuzzles his face into the crook of you neck.
“Archons, y/n. You feel so good!”
“I needed this so badly, please don’t stop!”
“You look so pretty while I’m inside you, sweetheart!”
After a little while you could help but start giving him praises as well, causing him to rut even more into you while letting out the prettiest of whimpers.
Definitely Inazuma’s cutest couple~

I don't see nearly enough of this, and understandably so, but the hcs of the least-likely-to-be-a-parent genshin men with a pregnant S/O. Pantalone, Xiao, Itto, etc.
I find this idea absolutely hilarious anon, thank you for bringing this to the table 😌.
Tumblr media
Least-Likely-To-Be-Parents Genshin Men with Pregnant S/O
Warnings: pregnant reader, shitty parenting (but not in any form of violence), mentions of discrimination (Itto)
Tumblr media
Itto
Tumblr media
When he finds out your pregnant, he goes through the 5 stages of grief and happiness simultaneously
“I’m going to be a father? I’m going to be a father! …..Oh no, I’m going to be a father-“
Once he’s able to collect himself, you’ll have to calmly have a conversation to him about his…behavior, to say the least.
It basically boils down to “don’t do anything that’ll get you, or our child, arrested”
And he’s honestly offended that you think he would do that with a child, HIS child.
But you’re proven right once the child is born
This man is mostly a bad influence, I’m sorry but it’s true
He would encourage rowdy behavior behind your back to y’all’s child
Like when you’re glaring at him he’s all “Now, we don’t do that! That’s bad!” Then when you turn back around he just whispers “You gotta do it more like this”
Has definitely gotten themselves into trouble by dragging your poor child along to trespass to get Onikabuto beetles
Probably has had child endangerment cases filed on you both because of him that Heizou has had to take care of for you
Despite his more uh- influential parenting practices, he’s also a great father
Will teach your child about their Oni blood and to take pride in it. If Itto could teach your child one thing, it’s to always accept yourself and other people. And to also come up with creative insults when someone tries to discriminate you.
He’s incredibly accepting of them, and proud of them no matter what they do, and will support them no matter what. He’s caring and loving, towards the both of you
Overall, he would be an amazing father. Just don’t count on him to be alone with them for more than an hour.
Pantalone
Tumblr media
He wont show it, but when you told him that you were pregnant, he was horrified all the while keeping that smile on his face
The only reason why he was horrified was because for the first time in a long time, he didn’t know what to do
He’s a ruthless business man that’s willing to do anything to be on top, and he’s going to be father. That kind of personality is not something a father should possess
He pity’s his soon-to-be child because of the world he is about to be born into. The world of violence and favoritism from the Gods that he just knows his child wont get.
Although, he is grateful that his child won’t have to face the problem of poverty like Pantalone had to. He will make sure they have everything that they want, need, and more.
This man is a powerhouse of raw ambition, and one of his ambitions is keeping his family safe
Much like the culture of Snezhnaya, he is a family man. Yet being number 9 of the Fatui Harbingers doesn’t call for him to be…nice.
That is not something he wants his family to be around, especially when it comes to you and your child.
He will do everything in his efforts to keep you both separated from the Fatui. That includes excluding the child from becoming part of the Adventurers Guild. He doesn’t want to risk it.
He’s a bit protective over you, especially when you’re pregnant, and ESPECIALLY when the child is born. The closest he’ll ever have the Fatui near you is when he has assigned agents to follow you both when you leave the house.
Meaning someone is watching you 24/7. He’s only a LITTLE BIT protective, right?
To make up for his rather excessive protectiveness, he spoils the ever loving shit out of you both. He’ll buy you the most luxurious clothes and buy your child the most boisterous of toys.
He’ll only ever show affection to any of you in the comfort of your own home. After all, he doesn’t want the other Harbingers to know his weak spot.
Xiao
Tumblr media
He’s internally freaking out. He doesn’t know what to do. He can’t even handle himself and you expect him to handle a child? His child?
When he heard the news he most definitely disappeared for a week or two. He just needed time to process.
He even went to Zhongli to ask for advice. All the former Geo Archon said was “You love her, you’ll love your child, it’ll come naturally to you.”
He’s not one to question Zhongli’s words, but that definitely made him mentally scoff a little bit. It wasn’t exactly what he was looking for, but that statement still had a weight to it.
When the time came, what Zhongli said made sense
Don’t get me wrong, it took a lot of adjustment and a lot of learning, but all those years of protecting Liyue sure did come in handy for this.
It taught him to be protective, but not overly so. He was still uneasy about it, but he showed affection whenever he felt like he needed to. He provided them and you with whatever you needed.
He was still weary though. He knew the dangers that lurked within the world of Teyvat. So as the child grew older, he taught them the basics of self-defense. And if they wished to learn more, Xiao would be more than happy to show them the ropes.
He would tell them stories about the Adepti, and about his fellow Yakshas. He’d educate them on the history of Liyue and about the great battles in the Archon War. And will definitely tell them about the great Rex Lapis.
Although he’ll leave the comforting and affection to you mostly, he won’t hesitate to give advice and support y’all’s child with whatever choice they make.
I honestly think that deposit his lack of affection and unavoidable bluntness, he would be one of the best dads out there

Title: Clipped Wings.
Pairing: Yandere!Ayato x Reader (Genshin).
Word Count: 1.0k.
TW: Obsessive Behavior and Implied Imprisonment.
Tumblr media
Ayato thought he might’ve loved you most, in moments like this.
Quiet and still, tucked safely into his bed, your eyes shut and your breathing steady and your body curled into his side. Your clothes had been left elsewhere, most likely in a heap on the floor or splayed across some inconsequential piece of furniture, allowing your skin to press against his without barriar, and he did what he could to savor your warmth without disturbing you, without doing anything to change the way your head rested on his chest or how your arms wrapped around his midriff – your hold on him growing tighter as you rested.
You were beautiful, exhausted and at peace, and he knew you’d be beautiful in the morning, too, as your rubbed the sleep from you eyes and buried your face in his neck, and the next day, when you’d take him by the hand and drag him off to do something that you’d never done before, whether that meant venturing into Inazuma City for another night of saké and street food or convincing an easily-swayed captain to ferry you over to Kannazuka Island to chase after vague rumors of abandoned mines and dead gods left to rot. Off to do something new, whatever that happened to entail.
If he had his way, this would last forever. Just the two of you, caught up in each other’s embrace, waiting for morning to come with a tempered sort of excitement. Together, with you by his side and him by yours, until the Gods eroded into nothing and all of Teyvat ceased to be.
Hah.
As if you would ever be so merciful.
You’d been clear about your intentions from the start. An adventurer, you’d called yourself, despite your refusal to associate with any recognizable guild or clan – a thrill-seeker travelling with the sole intention of seeing everything and doing everything. You’d been so blunt, admitting that you’d only come to Inazuma by chance, openly regarding his title and his disposition as little more than eccentricities to be examined and adored until something else, something more interesting came along. He was sure you would’ve loved Ayaka’s modest valiance, fawned over Thoma and all his many contradictions, but Ayato thought it would be wise to keep you to himself, for the time being. To protect his own pride, if not to draw out the remnants of your fleeting attention.
You were like a bird of the isles, flitting from place to place, satisfied never to build a nest of your own. Tonight, you might be content to perch yourself on his shoulder, to sing your sweetest song for him and no one else, but the moment something more rare, something more captivating, something more interesting caught your eye, you’d be off, looking for another place to roost – all while Ayato faded into little more than a distant memory. If you'd even remember him at all.
You’d been honest enough about that, too, speaking at length about all your many ‘friends’ in distant nations, comparing his estate to the sprawling manors of Mondstadt and the shinning chambers floating above Liyue’s harbor. You were happy to find yourself in his bed now, sure, and he had no doubt that you held some form of fondness for him when he felt your fingers in his hair and your lips on his, but already, he knew you were making other plans, wondering aloud if they accepted weary travelers on Watatsumi Island or how difficult it would truly be to make the acquaintance of the priestess of the Grand Narukami Shrine. He knew it was only your nature, that you meant him no harm by planning your departure so plainly, but he couldn’t help but feel just the slightest bit hurt. He couldn’t help but feel like his precious songbird was simply biding its time, waiting for an opprotunity abandon him.
A small, prying part of him was tempted to panic, to rush, to try and hold your attention for just a few more days, whether he had to plan an impromptu festival or burn the Almighty Shogun’s palace to the ground with his own two hands. If he gave you something to do, if he made sure you were well-occupied and, more importantly, well-entertained, then you might stay, might continue to let him bask in your bright laughter and sun-like warmth for just a while longer. It was a childish kind of hope, born of an adolescence with too little company and too many burdens. He knew better than to think it would be so easy. He knew better than to think that simply delaying your withdrawal would make it any less painful.
No, no. Ayato wasn’t so naïve. Ayato knew this wouldn't be so simple.
Ayato knew that, even with the most guilded cage he was able to provide, his songbird would still eventually fly away from him, and he'd be the one left longing for your music.
A longing he knew, already, that he wouldn't be able to endure.
You stirred as he sat up, but your eyes remained closed and you didn’t wake up. With no small amount of hesitation, he called out to the man he knew would be on the other side of his bedroom door – just where Ayato had asked him to be, should he make up his mind about just what to do with you before sunrise. “Thoma?”
There was a slight delay, a muffled voice. "Lord Kamisato?”
“Find a healer. Bring them to my door and keep them on standby, but don’t let anyone in until I tell you to do so.”
“Of course, my lord.”
Ayato waited until Thoma's footsteps were completely out of earshot, then raised his right hand - watching as a thin stream of water climbed his wrist, curled around his fingertips, and began to take shape in the palm of his hand. Such literal hydro manifestations had never been his specialty, but he was willing to push the limits of his abilities, if only for a few minutes. And a blade was such a simple tool, made to fill such a simple role – even the most inexperienced of vision users should’ve been able to summon one at will. He was sure he could manage, for your sake.
After all, the was only one way to truly keep a songbird caged, and that was to remove its wings entirely.

❝ SHE SAID ‘AD ABSTRA ABYSSOSQUE’ AND PROCEEDED TO GIVE US TWO MORA ! TWO MORA FOR SEVEN PEOPLE— ARE THEY REALLY THAT STINGY ? ❞
Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis : three archons out of the seven has disappeared. the chief of each nation of Teyvat had gathered around to discuss what occurred and to find a possible solution together. one way out, the most desperate and absurd one, is the legend of an artifact that gives the opportunity to talk to Celestia directly. so the order is passed to the adventurers’ guild all around the world: support each adventurer who is brave enough to start looking for their sole hope.
disclaimer : we often insert two readers (one for geto and one for gojo) to explore both the relationships in the same universe, amongst the same cast in order to not repeat the same contexts over and over again. In this way, we can also explore the platonic side with the different characters. for this same reason, we usually give them names to use instead of repeating y/n.
contents : characters introductions !
a/n : this was a very fun thing we came up with just to kill time, but we’re seriously considering into turning it into something a oneshot or fanfic. so look out because we might have something in store for this au 🐥

BE AWARE THAT THE BUDGET MAY WARY OF THE PEOPLE (IN YOUR GROUP) AND THE CITY YOU COME FROM ! ❜
main characters :
⟣ GOJO SATORU
cryo — catalyst
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Satoru grew up in a small orphanage in Mondstadt. He always loved adventures even as a young kid, so it was to no one’s surprise that he became an adventurer as soon as he got out of that place.
• His vision manifested itself when he was just eight years old.
• He doesn’t feel particularly attached to Mondstadt and its people, being aware that deep down his roots lie somewhere else.
• Every night, he has troubles sleeping. This happens because his dreams seems to center around a very specific scenario, wherein a city is being destroyed amidst the screams of its inhabitants running away from the rubble in panic.
• When he first sees the Adventurers’ Guild flier, it happens in the middle of one of his many journeys. Of course, he didn’t need to think twice before grabbing the flying paper and shoving it inside his bag.
⟣ YURIKO
hydro — bow ; paired with gojo
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Yuriko was born and raised in Mondstadt. She is passionate about Teyvat’s history, notably about its legends and myths way long before Celestia took over. For this very reason, she likes to study ancient runes and languages.
• An introvert. That doesn’t mean she will sit prettily and follow orders from other people— no, she is incredibly stubborn when it comes to situations she deems worthy. This side of her reflects also in her friendships, showing a more caring side to the people she loves.
• Yuriko tends to instruct the others, along with Geto, about the route they should explore, easily getting along with him due to their similar personalities. She's seen as leader-like by the others thanks to her habit of giving valuable advices or to call the others back onto their mistakes.
• Her relationship with Gojo starts with lots of head butting. Satoru’s continuous jokes and teasing to get a reaction out of her are the cause of her daily stress. She hates his lack of collaboration, or his requests to spend more time in the city they’re currently at instead of thinking about the ongoing mission. With time Gojo will be the first one to fall for her, being able to discover Yuriko’s caring and selfless personality.
• She is not weak to his extravagant ways, often putting aside the heavy mask of the rigid, responsible person she is forced to wear.
⟣ GETO SUGURU
electro — claymore
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Geto comes from a small village— Konda Village, precisely. His parents are humble farmers.
• In the village he was known as the ‘golden boy’ for his kindness and altruistic behavior. When he received his electro vision, everyone thought that the mighty Raiden Shogun blessed him.
• During his teenage years, he decided to join a group of samurai which goal was traveling around Inazuma to help the next person. Unfortunately it didn’t last long.
• When their Archon disappears, the group of samurai he was a part of begins to succumb to darkness in order to survive. From that point onwards, Suguru starts his independent journey.
• But it really isn’t a secret how the shift affected him. So much, that he begins to doubt the powers of the Archons.
• When Suguru learns about the adventure in Mondstadt, he accepts it with the hope to find himself again.
⟣ MARJA
anemo — polearm ; paired with geto
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Marja comes from Fontaine. She is not a noble, but her parents are two famous lawyers in the whole country, which contributed in growing her dream to be just like them. It was thanks to them that she departs for this mission.
• She chose the Mondstadt expedition because in her eyes they are more laid-back with the rules and regulations.
• To no one’s surprise, she is an ambivert: she is easy to adapt to any situation at hand. Overall her personality is on the bubbly side, even childish at times. That doesn’t mean, though, that she isn’t capable of being serious and responsible.
• Thanks to her knowledge and understanding of the rules of every nation’s codex, she is tasked with getting the group out of trouble if needed. Marja uses her skills to obtain whatever she wants, able to talk for hours just to confuse the person she’s talking with.
• She has a crush for Geto, born from his responsible side (which she lacks in) and the way he takes care of the group. Often times she’s on the receiving end of advices from him, other times it is his scoldings whenever she makes mistakes. Another scenario that happened is when her decisions tends to backfire and worsen up the situation.
⟣ NANAMI KENTO
geo — sword
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Nanami’s family is originally from Mondstadt. His surname well-known in the city because of their past as hunters.
• His parents ended the tradition shortly after having him. Nowadays they run a bakery shop together, located in the city centre.
• Normally he wields a sword, but truth to be told, he holds to his heart a machete gifted by his grandfather.
• His parents has always been loving and supportive of him since he was a child, and they are the main reason he ended up studying aetiology at Sumeru’s Akademiya. Nanami belongs to the Vahumana Darshan. He wants to make his parents proud, but deep down he longs for a simple life running the bakery shop they own.
• When Nanami hears about the expedition, he leaves the studies behind to protect his friends that are taking part of this journey— one of them is Haibara.
⟣ IEIRI SHOKO
dendro — catalyst
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• She was born and raised in Mondstadt. The majority of her family studied at Sumeru’s Akademiya, so it was only a matter of time until she enrolled too— she’s currently pursuing the Spantamad Darshan, elementalism.
• Don’t get her wrong, she’s happy her life is already planned by her parents. Every time her teacher asked her what she wanted to be when grown up, she would always shut her mind and say nothing.
• Still, when Haibara asked her to accompany him in this absurd mission, she couldn’t refuse. It’s not really a secret how Shoko has a soft spot for him.
• Again, she’s quite content with her life overall, yet when Haibara comes and explains the mission, she acts on her impulses. It would’ve been a waste to not take this chance. This opportunity served right in front of her.
• And thank the Archons she embarked on this journey, for every time the group would end up fighting over the smallest thing, she would be the one to bring back peace.
⟣ HAIBARA YUU
pyro — polearm
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Haibara is actually from Liyue, but ever since he was a baby he would travel together with his grandparents in their commercial trips to the neighboring nations. That’s the reason behind his current staying at Wangshu Inn.
• Even to these days he would accompany his grandpa around. Given his grandpa’s elderly age, nowadays the trips focus primarily around Mondstadt.
• It was thanks to these trips that he met and befriended both Nanami and Yuriko. Because of his relatively closeness with the border, their meetings had increased.
• Once he received his pyro vision, he re-discovered his passion and deep love for traveling. Especially when he get to help the people he meets on his path.
• He joins the expedition as a ‘first aid’ specialist. Just in case something would go wrong (he hopes it doesn’t).
⟣ AMANAI RIKO
hydro — catalyst
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Riko is the only daughter of the Amanai family, the one who is in charge of the Church of Favonius. Raised under a bell jar, she is very well mannered thanks to the private classes and the high level of education her parents provided her with. As expected from the only Amanai heir.
• It is told with greatest pride by her parents, that one day, amidst the usual afternoon mass, Riko got possessed by what was left of an old Archon who was able to spoke through her body. From that day on, her parents and the whole church believe that she is blessed— she’s the chosen one.
• However loved and kind she is, Riko hides a rebellious attitude, wanting to go explore the world instead of singing choir music. For this very reason, she ends up begging the head of the Adventurers’ Guild, Masamichi Yaga, to be part of the expedition.
• Needless to say, she joins it and successfully runs away from her family.
• Riko is the youngest one of the group. That’s also thanks to her fiery personality and endless energy, aside from the enthusiasm of finally achieving her dream. Still, even with such personality, she tends to listen those she deems responsible in the group— namely Shoko and Yuriko.

Tumblr media
While Inazuma was known for a plethora of things, your favorite had always been its nights. When the wind was at the perfect balance of humidity, and it blew past the cracks under the seal of your window. Allowing a gentle breeze that kept your room scented like the sakura mochi often sold by vendors in the streets of Inazuma City. The comfortability of these nights put you at ease, reeling you away from your thoughts as you succumbed to peace.
However tonight you were plagued with the unrelenting thoughts about your past. Specifically, your old partner. You were with them for about two years, always going out on adventures with one another for the guild..until you accepted the commission that would ultimately result in the biggest loss you'd ever experienced. You and your partner had been overwhelmed by a large enemy, and you watched as the person you loved most was abruptly ripped out of your life. Shortly after, you moved to Inazuma, for peace.
This was how you came across Yae Miko. The Lady Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine, which sat pointedly atop a large mountain that towered over the city. But you had met her at the Yae Publishing house, scouring the horror/thriller section while distancing yourself from the rest of the shop attendees. The Guuji had approached you, and from here a sort of friendship was born. Miko often helped you with your recurring thoughts regarding your partner, and in return you'd try to assist her at the Shrine and the shop as much as possible.
On a night like tonight, Miko would typically be the first person you ran to after such a violent nightmare as the one you'd just had. But, it was late, and you knew she'd probably be far too booked and busy as the Shrine Guuji, to be dealing with the post-traumatic nightmares of someone she'd only met a few months ago. However, as your chest slammed up and down repeatedly with the flashes of their face fading out of view, you found yourself immediately on your way to the Grand Narukami Shrine, with your hands tucked into your chest.
Whispering words of encouragement to yourself as you ascended up the long and everlasting staircase to the Shrine, you quickly find that due to the nightmare, even the slightest rustle of a bush or dancing of a Tanuki, sends you spiraling while clutching yourself closely. The nightmare had been one of the more violent ones, stretching across the events of the adventure happily- so happily it appeared as a dream, until the abrupt end where your partner's death replayed repeatedly over and over until you had pushed yourself up gasping for air and dripping in your own sweat.
You frown gently to yourself, thinking of how embarrassing you must look climbing up the stairs to the shrine while muttering and clearly being out of breath. Luckily due to it being nearly three in the morning, the only people you passed (which were very few) were the other Shrine Maidens, who didn't spare you a glance. It wasn't new for the Guuji's most frequent 'helper' to be rearing up to the shrine so late.
It was a slightly long hike up said stairs, but you quickly emerged at the top, nodding to Inagi Hotomi who greeted visitors. She allowed you to pass into the Shrine without question or hesitation, and as your feet padded up the slightly creaky wooden stairs of the building, you shuddered to think of just what Miko would say. Peaking around the corner you were greeted with the sandy sight of the kitsune with her back turned to you. She was near the large Sacred Sakura tree, one hand pressed against its bark.
You took a deep breath and stepped forward, calling out softly to her. "Miko..?"
She had turned around instantly, a flash of a smile that quickly faded when she caught sight of your frazzled frame. A light snap of her fingers was enough to garner the attention of one of the lingering Shrine Maidens, Miko barely uttering to her. "leave."
The Maiden was quick to flee, as you bit the inside of your cheek. Miko beckoned you closer with one finger, and willingly you shuffled infront of her. "What happened to my little one?" She whispered, her hand coming up before you could stop it, gently holding your jaw with the upmost sincerity.
"I, uh," You find yourself sighing. "I had a nightmare."
Miko raises a brow, frowning. "Did you now?"
You force a nod, clearing your throat and looking to the ground. "Yes," You confirm. "It was..bad."
You hear her sigh, and her hands come down to your own, cupping them gently. Looking up you watch as she scans your features softly, noting the tears sitting teasingly in your glossed over eyes. "You don't need to tell me what happened," she says, slighting hesitating before adding, "But..stay, let me help you."
"You don't have to." You mumbled, avoiding her eyes. "I..I honestly don't even know why I came here. You're probably too busy to deal with something as stupid as nightmares."
Miko tuts. "I want to help you," She grips your hands slightly. "I'm never too busy for you, little one. I'll always be here to help."
You know there's no point in arguing with her. You lower your head, coming forward to lean against her shoulder as a shaky breath leaves your throat, shoulders falling. You think back on the memory of your past, finding those tears quickly falling from your eyes. Miko's hands move to hold on tightly to your waist, one coming up to rest on your back.
"It's alright now, my love," She whispers, feeling your gentle sobs forcing shakes through your body. "It'll all be okay. I've got you, I promise I won't leave."
You rub your eyes into her outfit, tears bubbling up and crashing down. "Thank you, Miko."
She doesn't respond, instead holds you. Because she knows that that's what you really need right now.

Tumblr media
When this journey began, you’d been expecting a lot of things, —mostly Kaeya and Diluc bickering back and forth, the younger instigating petty verbal spats only for the older to snap back after a while of disinterested replies. You’d even been anticipating a night or two of awkward sleeping arrangements, folding in on yourself in hopes of keeping your distance from each of them, as if you hadn’t sought their warmth as your protectors in your youth.
But you’re not a little kid anymore, and the two young men at your side are no longer your closest friends. Your nights aren’t spent telling silly ghost stories under cozy blankets in the bedrooms of Dawn Winery’s manor. Nowadays, Kaeya shows off on the battlefield, glints of bloodlust in his visible eye, rather than climbing trees in your backyard until slivers of fear began to prick at his feet and the best option was simply to climb back down. Diluc, on the other hand, doesn’t show off much at all. He works alone, his head held high and his walls higher, —keeping everyone out, because he’ll never be able to tell where the next betrayal is coming from.
You like to think you haven’t lost all of your childlike wonder and spark. At least, not to the extent of either of them; one who bears a Cryo Vision and yet burns with guilt and shame, and the other who wields a Pyro Vision, but has frozen himself to the bone just to keep others away.
As a so-called negotiator, employed by the Adventurers Guild to deal with a variety of issues that often stem from conflicts and misunderstandings, it feels disgraceful that you’d be incapable of playing peacekeeper between the two of them. But your skills feel years beyond rusted as you stand with them, seeking refuge from a ruthless storm in an old, abandoned hilichurl camp. It had rolled in from far away, taking all three of you by surprise. Abandoning your uncovered wagon with minimal supplies to manage through a few days' journey was the only viable option as the wind began to whip loose branches from trees and lightweight rocks and pebbles from the ground.
Even in such horrid weather, thieves offered no breaks from their crime. They snatched away your wagon’s contents, in spite of it having been hidden away in the trees. You can’t help but wonder how long they’d been tailing the three of you from the city. . .
Beyond that, you wonder why fate has decided to be so cruel to you. Diluc was a distant assistant of the Knights of Favonius these days, only offering help when it was completely necessary. Why he chose to take charge of this mission is beyond you, and why Kaeya decided to join at the last minute, you’ll never understand. Especially now that all they’ve done is largely overlook your existence in order to get petty digs in at one another.
They’d managed to complicate what was supposed to be a simple trip to Liyue Harbor to settle an even simpler dispute.
“Hey, Master Diluc,” Kaeya calls out, tone condescending, “mind giving us a hand over here?”
The redhead spares his brother an agitated glance, nearly throwing daggers with his tongue before his gaze came to rest on you. . . You’re just as sweet looking as he remembers. There’s always been something so innocent and warm swimming in your eyes, as if your full well of kindness has overflown and pooled right into your stare. For your sake, Diluc swallows his not-so-kind words and makes little show of lighting the fire between yourself and Kaeya, who offers no thanks.
“You should sit down,” you say to Diluc softly, moving off to the side to let him rest before the newly lit fire. “You’re dripping wet.”
“I’m fine—” he begins roughly, but stops himself immediately when you flinch at the harshness of his tone.
He hadn’t meant for it to come out like that. A deep breath in, and he tries again, gentler this time.
“I’m alright,” he corrects, but offers no apology for startling you just before. “A little rain never hurt anyone.”
If both of you had been younger and these past few years had never happened, you’d have been quick to question his liberal usage of a little. It’s pouring, maybe more than you’ve ever seen it, and lightning slits the sky ruefully as thunder booms from the heavens.
“Don’t be so cold,” Kaeya chides, and takes pleasure in doing so, “I’m the one with the Cryo Vision.”
“You’re also the one who doesn’t know when to keep his crooked nose out of other people’s affairs,” Diluc answers bluntly, a sharp edge to his voice.
“Crooked?” The younger questions, ignoring Diluc’s blow to his character in lieu of the cosmetic insult.
“Enough,” you insert yourself tiredly, “now’s not the time to be arguing.”
Archons. How had this come to pass? It was bad enough that the two of them had found themselves on the same mission, —but for you to be here as well? Talk about bad luck. Maybe all those times of patching Bennett up after unfortunate circumstances got the better of him has made his fate rub off on you. . .
Neither of the brothers apologize for their actions, but you hadn’t been expecting it anyway. You’d have been more surprised if they did, actually.
“Fine,” Kaeya shrugs, “let’s change the subject then while the soup heats up.”
You take that as your cue to scrape some poorly sliced veggies into an old hilichurl pot that Diluc had placed for a crude wash in the rain. It’s set to be rudimentary at best, but your hope is that the mint leaves you managed to gather along the way will add enough of a flavor contrast to make it edible at the very least. Your choice of fancy ingredients was well beyond diluted, and whatever you managed to scrounge up from the wreckage of this hilichurl camp is as good as it’s going to get. Beggars truly cannot be choosers, especially in situations such as this.
“It’s been a while since I’ve spoken to you, y/n,” Kaeya notes. “How’ve you been fairing?”
“I’ve been well,” you answer, only paying him a fraction of your attention. “You’d know that if you ever bothered to read any of my letters.”
His face drops for a moment, confident facade staggering in the shadow of your newfound shortness. He knows you’re right, and Kaeya can’t blame you for being upset. It wasn’t his intention to lose sight of you, but somewhere along the line between that fateful stormy night, the dissolvement of his relationship with Diluc, and his subsequent promotion to Cavalry Captain. . . His fondness for you had been lost to the wind. He got your letters, would sit them aside for later, —and then later would never come. Eventually, he’d lose those letters too amongst the towers of paperwork on his cluttered desk.
“You wrote to him?” Diluc pipes up, sounding all too casual for the ache that lingers in his heart.
He hadn’t received any letters from you. . . Not one. Not a single message, short or long, —just nothingness, like throwing flames into a limitless void. Why Kaeya, the one who hadn’t even bothered to answer? Why couldn’t Diluc even be your second choice?
“Just. . . Just a handful of times,” you say softly. “I never heard back, so I stopped writing.”
Kaeya opens his mouth, maybe to explain, maybe to make things infinitely worse for himself, but Diluc beats him to the punch.
“You know I would have answered you,” he tells you. “It’s been forever since the last time we spoke, —don’t you think it would have been nice to hear from you? Just to say hello?”
Now, you’ve found yourself in Kaeya’s shoes; stuck between a rock and a hard place. There’s no appropriate excuse as to why you never chose to reach out to Diluc, you just. . . Didn’t. In the same way Kaeya never wrote you back, you never wrote to Diluc at all. But Kaeya did.
“It’s not like you can shove all the blame off on other people,” Kaeya interjects, tone laced with a seriousness you don’t often hear from him. “You’re hardly easy to approach these days. You’ve practically holed yourself up and away, wallowing in your own self-pity.”
“Kaeya, that’s a little much, don’t you think—” you start, but Diluc is quick on the attack, speaking over you and then over the thunder that resounds through the atmosphere.
“As if you’re any better,” the redhead scoffs, “I don’t need to be patronized by someone like you. You talk to everyone, but you don’t have any real connections. Your secrecy forces everyone away eventually, and when you wind up alone again, I hope you remember that you’ve done it all to yourself, Kaeya.”
“You don’t mean that—” you say, eyes widening and heart dropping low into the pit of your stomach.
“Oh, and you’re wishing that on me so you feel less alone about living that way now?” The younger male retorts.
Of all the years you’ve known the both of them and of all the times you’ve seen them argue, none of it has ever amounted to something like this. Their voices are dangerously low, as if the misty grey indifference of passive aggression has clouded their judgements, leaving them void of everything except simmering rage for one another.
“What, so now I’m not even entitled to choose how I get to grieve?” Diluc accuses.
“Nobody even said that,” Kaeya bites back in return. “There you go, twisting people’s words again so you feel better about villainizing them.”
“I don’t need to villainize you, —you do a good enough job of that all by yourself.”
“Guys—”
“I could say the same to you,” Kaeya scoffs. “Pushing everyone away because you’re too scared to make connections, running off for so long just to come back a completely different person, abandoning everyone who ever cared enough about you to take your burdens for themselves.”
“Oh, and you think you fall under that category somehow?” Diluc demands. “As if you weren’t the one who’d been lying the entire time, keeping Celestia knows how many secrets from everyone? I know you’re the Cavalry Captain now Kaeya, but don’t be such an arrogant fool. Get off your high horse and come join the rest of us in reality.”
“That’s rich coming from you,” Kaeya all but snarls. “All you’ve done since that night is run away, —from your duties, from your family, from the nation you claim to love so much. And you know what I think, Diluc?”
“I really couldn’t care less what you think, Kaeya—”
“I think you’re the one who needs to come down off your high horse. You weren’t the only one who got hurt that night, but you mope around like there’s nobody in the world who shares your burdens! You’re not special. You’re not the only one who lost someone!”
“He was my father!” Diluc says, right on the cusp of shouting over the pouring rain that pummels against the roof of the hilichurl hut.
“He was my father too, dammit!” Kaeya yells, the flat of his palm slamming against the dampened dirt. “But I didn't just lose him, —I lost you too.”
The elder male is visibly stunned by that assertion, unable to form words in reply. Kaeya doesn't wait for a response, good or bad. Ungracefully, he pulls himself to his feet and storms off into the rain, and despite your protests, he doesn't look back. You suppose he's back to pretending like you never existed.
Silence reigns between you and Diluc for a short while. When you make the first move, parting your lips to say his name softly, he's quick to cut you off in a small, sad voice.
"Why didn't you write to me?" He questions. "Why didn't you ever come see me? You knew I'd returned, and you still didn't come."
Though his words are accusatory, he doesn't sound particularly angry. If anything, Diluc just sounds hurt.
"I. . ." you begin, knowing nothing you can possibly say will make this any better. "I just didn't think you'd want to hear from me."
His stare is blank, as if he isn’t sure what to make of your admission. He opens his mouth to speak, but just as quickly closes it again, swallowing the words down to dilute their harshness. Maybe Kaeya was right, he thinks to himself. Maybe I’ve pushed everyone so far away that I’ve alienated myself completely.
If that’s the case, he notes soon after, then I have no one to blame but myself.
“I’m sorry,” you apologize genuinely, interrupting his spiral of thought.
Diluc looks your way again, meeting your eyes diligently this go around, but still, he says nothing.
“When I heard you’d returned, I walked by Dawn Winery every morning, thinking that I could work up the courage to see you face-to face,” you explain. “It sounds selfish of me now that I’m saying it out loud, but. . .”
“No,” you interrupt, shaking your head to offer a correction, “it was selfish of me. I was being selfish. I couldn’t stomach the thought of seeing you again because I knew you’d be so different, —I’d be meeting someone new in the place of the boy I grew up with, and I wasn’t ready to face it.”
Strangely enough, Diluc understands where it is that you’re coming from. He’s not dense enough to be blind to all the differences he exhibits in comparison to his slightly younger self. Once upon a time, he was vibrant and open, —he let people in because he assumed the best of them. Diluc sought trust and love from the people of Mondstadt, vowed to protect them with his very life. . . Even now, he feels that way. These days, he acts from the shadows instead, as if loving openly will somehow make him more vulnerable to injuries of the emotional kind.
“Do you hate it, then?” He inquires, “—the man I am right now. Do you hate me?”
“No, Diluc I—”
You stop again to take a sharp breath in. It’s now or never to say all the things you never chose to write down in a letter for him. At the very least, he deserves that much.
“I should have come to see you,” you admit. “I knew that from the start. And I wanted to see you, because it’d been so long, and I just needed to know that you were okay; that whoever you’d become while you were gone, you were healthy and hadn’t just given up on the world. But I got glimpses of you from afar, and it made me realize just how much of a distance had grown between us. It was like I could hardly recognize you, even when you looked the same. So I turned around, and eventually, I stopped going to Dawn Winery altogether. I hid when I saw you in public, just to avoid the conversation, —to avoid the “Hi, how’ve you been?” because I knew you’d just lie and say everything was fine.”
The bitter truth is that you’d been pushing Diluc away, just as he’d been doing to you. You yearned to be close to him again, to be able to pull him so close that you could feel his heart beating against you. . . But the space between you and he only grew wider with the passing days. He made a routine for himself, and you didn’t want to disrupt it. Not when he’d had to pull himself up from the depths of despair just to manage it in the first place.
You worried that you represented little more than the past to him, —that you’d be some ghost of a childhood friend coming back to haunt him, and heaven knows Diluc doesn’t need anymore demons wrapping around his pretty fingers.
“Everything should be fine,” he answers softly. “Everyone has to move on eventually. We can’t live in days that have already passed us by.”
“That doesn’t mean doing it is easy,” you remind him, matching the gentle tone of his voice.
“It’s not easy,” he agrees. “It hurts like hell. I hate going home because the manor feels so empty, and I can’t find any trace of anyone there. Not my father, not Kaeya, not you, —not even myself. It’s like all the rooms just swallow everything whole until there’s nothing left to feed on, and all the good things have disappeared. All the memories, all the laughter, all the love is just. . . Gone.”
Another apology creeps up the back of your throat, but you know now isn’t the time to be saying sorry a  million and one times over. You can take any other time to feel guilty, to feel sorry for yourself in the wake of your own recklessness. . . But this is about Diluc.
“All the art my father hung up on the walls, —the chess board he taught me how to play on. I’ve run my fingers over every frame, every pawn, every knight, and I can’t feel him anywhere. It’s almost like he never existed, even though every part of the manor has remained unchanged since his passing. The maids and other staff don’t speak of him; at least not when I’m around. . . It’s like they’ve all signed some unspoken contract to guard my feelings by pretending nothing ever happened.”
You’re left speechless by his show of openness, thinking to yourself (if only passively) that it’s been far too long since you’ve heard Diluc be true about his feelings.
“Kaeya comes around sometimes, but he never comes in,” the redhead continues. “The manor was his home too, but it seems that he can’t stand to be inside anymore, so he’s left me alone to pick up all the pieces, and I hate him for it. But I love him too, from the bottom of my heart. He’s my brother, —blood or not. I know he’s hurting too, and it kills me.”
“He knows that,” you insist. “Kaeya knows that you love him, and he loves you too. It’s just that all the animosity between you two reaches a boiling point when you stuff everything down and hide your pain away, and he wears it on his sleeve, letting it seep out the moment he gets set off. Both of you love to pretend that you’re fine alone, that everything will work itself out somehow if you ignore it for long enough, —but I think we’ve established that that’s not quite how this is gonna go.”
And then Diluc laughs. It’s low and deep, coming straight from his chest, lasting no more than a handful of seconds. The stars in his eyes burn alight again, flickering like a lost lantern in the wind. A softer breeze than the howling gusts just outside the hilichurl structure you’re sitting in that’s miraculously managed to stay intact thus far.
“That’s so like you,” he comments, amusement clinging to his words. “You’re so honest in a roundabout way; trying your best to protect my feelings, and Kaeya’s if he happens to be eavesdropping on us, all while essentially saying we should stop being idiots and just talk about our problems.”
Although that’s a very watered down version of your conviction, it works well enough, you suppose. A giggle bubbles up from the back of your throat, exploding into the chilly air.
“That’s one way to say it, I guess,” you laugh. “I know that’s a lot easier said than done, but I’m hoping you see where I’m coming from. It might not be my place to say it, —but it’s hard to watch you two ram heads like this. Even though none of us are kids anymore, it’d be nice to be like we used to sometimes.”
Diluc agrees. He thinks about that more than he’ll ever be willing to admit; about the days he spent running past the vineyards, you and Kaeya right on his heels, laughter soaring through the open air. He thinks about the sweet taste of freshly mixed juice drinks, foam clinging to his upper lip. . . He can make his own drinks these days, of course, but they never taste quite like his father’s.
When he smiles like this, you get a glimpse of the boy you grew up alongside. You get a glimpse of the young man you fell in love with, yet never made any mention of it so as not to upset the balance. It was easier if everyone remained friends; if you never chose to cross the line. You suppose that’s yet another reason why it was so hard to approach him after he arrived back in Mondstadt. It wouldn’t be fair to grieve the loss of who he used to be, but it was nothing short of inevitable.
I loved you then, and I love you now.
“In any case, I. . . I should go look for Kaeya,” you say; but there’s no conviction in your words.
He’s an adult, and you know better than most that Kaeya can take care of himself; rain or shine. In fact, with that Vision of his, he might as well be better suited to stormy nights and rainy days. Though he seems like he wants to, Diluc says nothing to keep you from going. Maybe it’s just that he doesn’t want you to soak yourself to the bone, or maybe it’s that he just wants you to stay; nothing more, nothing less. Either way, he doesn’t say it.
Until he does.
“Y/n, please. . .”
You pause, turning to look at him the moment he says your name. Diluc swallows, hoping the words don’t go down with it.
“Don’t leave.”
Your heart stutters. As the sky grows darker somewhere off in the distance, as the rain slams roughly against the little hut you’re stuffed in, —as thunder resounds loud enough to shake the very ground beneath your knees, you find yourself pulled into his orbit again.
It’s all too easy to love him like the sun is dying.
Now’s not the right time, this isn’t the right place. . . Nothing about this is right, but you can’t bring yourself to pull away. He smells of rain, soil, and must; hair disheveled and falling out of the loose, low ponytail at the back of his head. The plain scent of bland vegetables boiling just a foot or two away would have thrown you off if you’d been lucid enough to care.
His kiss is fervent and desperate in a way you never expected, —something less than sweet, but far from bitter. Damp hands cup your cheeks like you’re made of brittle porcelain, so gentle that you can melt into his touch without having to question why. It’s hard to believe these lips are the same ones that threw insults Kaeya’s way just a bit ago, and when you rest your forehead against his, breathing through the haze, it’s even harder to imagine that his lovesick stare is only meant for you.
You could spend forever here, but that wouldn’t serve either of you.
“Go,” you whisper softly, pressing the flat of your hand to his chest. “He’s your brother.”
Diluc hesitates, but deep down, he knows you’re right. He’s angry, —he’s been angry for a long time now. It’s eaten at him for longer than he’ll ever care to admit, burning up his mind and scorching all the flowers.
And maybe, he thinks to himself with your face cupped in his chilled hands, it’s time to start letting some of that anger go, washing it away with the rain.

Rainy Day
Back to Masterlist
Characters: Mona Ningguang Yae Miko
A/N: okay so I haven’t done a Genshin post in a bit but I took a break blinked and all the sudden I’m behind on all the Sumeru lore. I’m trying to do it right now but until then I can’t do anything really lore related. But it’s raining outside so I hope you like some rainy day writing!
A/N: Okay I wrote these a couple months ago and originally this was suppose to have an extra character but I couldn’t figure out what to write for them. I hope you like it!!!!!!

Mona’s mood was already soured. Why out of all days did it have to rain today?!
She had planned to go to the Adventures Guild for some extra mora so she could eat something other than salad
Not that she didn’t love salad!
No, salad is amazing, and it saves her mora.
She could go all day having only salad!
She knows from experience…
But with the rain being non stop she came home soaked!
Not to mention her scryglass was hazy from the rain. She couldn’t even scry the stars.
Archons she could go for some soup right now.
Eating soup underneath a blanket, reading her favorite astrology books.
Instead she was cold and had only salad to eat- wait what was that smell?
Mona’s house for whatever reason was filled with the most delightful aroma and it was warmer than normal.
Almost as if someone has been cooking…
“Who’s there?! Come out and a face the wrath of the great Astrologist Mona Mag-“
“Hi Mona!”
“egi- Y/N what are you doing here!?”
“Im making soup.”
“How did you even get in?!”
“You have a spare key under the welcome mat remember? Anyways, I saw you doing commissions earlier, and thought I’ll surprise you with soup! No one likes eating cold salad on a cold day!”
Mona couldn’t help but smile. It was almost as if you had scry the stars yourself and red her destiny.
Mona however quickly gained composure.
“Well I suppose I can also use this time to finally get you to understand the difference between Astrology and Astronomy. Each time you get it wrong I’ll hit you with one of my books on the head.”
“Hey aren’t your books kinda big and all hard cover?”
“ They have a lot of knowledge. But don’t worry I won’t use my favorites they are to import to use on you.”
“ Sweet Barbatos save me!”

The weather never really affected Ningguang’s job.
However it could serve as an annoyance.
Cargo and intel that was being shipped to Liyue Habor could be delayed.
Meetings would have to be rescheduled if they were taking place outside.
But this by far bothered her the most. Today she was supposed to have a meeting with Y/N for a picnic.
A small break from her busy schedule to spend time with the one she loves most.
She had picked out a spot away from the harbor.
Placed far from Hilichurls and slimes so they could relax in nature with each other as their company.
All plans ruined by rain.
You still manage to visit her though.
“You know Liyue Harbor is still quite beautiful even when it rains.”
“Y/N. I suppose our date will have to be rescheduled for today…”
“We could, or we can go ahead and take a walk, just the two of us. Maybe buy ourselves a nice meal~ bring it back to Jade chamber. I’ll gladly cancel my schedule if it meant u can spend more time with you.”
Ningguang chuckled to herself.
“While that’s a lovely idea we both know it’s impractical. However, I am a little bit less busy from the rain today. Would you be free for dinner?”
Y/N nod smiling.
“I’ll pay tonight!”
“No, I have more than enough mora I’ll pay.”
“No! You always do this let me treat you!”
“I have more than enough mora for the both of us, I should naturally pay for the expenses.”
“No it’s my treat!”
The only problem now was how she was gonna convince Y/N to let her pay for the bill.

Miko had no qualms with rain. Rain was a natural part of life and nothing to get upset over.
That didn’t mean she preferred it.
Inazuma was currently facing quite the storm. Thankfully not one created by The Shogun but still a nuisance nonetheless.
Miko, along with many other shop owners had to close their shops due to the rain.
To make the day more banal the shrine was also not busy today from the weather.
Miko must admit she was a little surprised to see Y/N still came to visit her.
But Y/N didn’t need to know about that.
“Y/N, you still came all this way to visit me~ What a special day this is~”
“I’m surprised you haven’t decided to mess with one of the Shrine Maidens yet. Feeling merciful today Miko?”
Miko chuckled.
“Well that’s for you to find out~”
Miko was not in the mood to tease today surprisingly enough. Today she wanted to relax indoors and enjoy the sound of the rain on her windows.
Perhaps she could do just that.
“Are you busy?”
“No, why do you ask.”
“I need a beta-reader for some of the new books, would you mind?”
Y/N look at Miko confused but then answered.
“You know I love a good book.”
“Follow me then.”
Miko went to her private courtiers where you to took a seat in one of the two reading nooks.
“You always take that chair, what do you like it so much?”
“It’s comfy. I don’t have any new books for me to read, I hated all the new books given to me yesterday.”
“I knew it! I finished reading the latest books yesterday!”
“It seems I’ve been caught red handed~ Would you like to read a book on the shelf?”
“I’m in the middle of reading The Miraculous Adventures of the Traveler you have it?”
“I have all my best selling novels, it should be on the second shelf with the white spine. What chapter are you on?”
“I don’t know the chapter, but they just arrived in Liyue and a tour guide is helping them prepare a send off for Rex Lapis. What are you reading?”
“That book is such a good read, I’m rereading Pretty Please Kitsune Guuji?”
Miko always chuckled after saying the title.
“You just made that book to mess with The Raiden Shogun, Im sure of it.”
“I would never~”
The two made small talk as the rain made noise for a tranquil atmosphere.
Good books, good company, good atmosphere, how perfect of a day this has become.

I saw that you’ve been looking at Genshin but consider this. RvB/Genshin crossover. Please assign everyone a region (to the best of your ability since we’re still in the dark with 2 of the regions) and vision. For science.
HELLO i have literally thought about this so much. okay not actually that much but I have assigned everyone to elements/nations/weapons a few times in my head bc i love making lists. some of them i have like no comments on though. i also have a couple genshin headcanons for some of them and how I think they'd fit into the world. everything under the cut bc this will probably be a lot and also very rambly (ty for giving me an excuse to share this)
quick notes:
most of these are just based off vibes lol. if there's a specific reason behind assigning someone a certain element/weapon/nation i'll specify why. some of these are very vague lol
feel free to add your own interpretation/ideas i love hearing other perspectives
tried making the different elements different colors but tumblr has limited selection :(
i have no fucking clue how the church family works in a modern/not rvb setting 😭😭
okay here we go
Tucker: Anemo Catalyst
i know he seems like a sword user but hear me out: he makes blades of anemo like his energy sword (kinda like childe's hydro blades, but as a melee anemo catalyst user)
I.. have no idea what nation he'd be from. originally i put him as being from natlan because of the vague idea of him being a warrior or something, but i've actually got no clue other than that 😭
i think he's travelling throughout teyvat and taking on commissions as he goes. probably well known by the adventurer's guild
Church: Cryo Catalyst, Mondstadt
cryo fits so well to me. especially bc most cryo characters have themes of isolation/loneliness/or family issues (same reasons why i assigned cryo to carolina as well)
Caboose: Hydro Claymore, Sumeru
blue and strong. also hydro as a concept fits him in my mind.
Carolina: Cryo Polearm, Mondstadt
carolina and wash are siblings in my AU 👍
her and wash both joined the knights of favonius (KOF) at the same time, though carolina ended up leaving later to decide her own path (probably had something to do with her mother's death also. i think maybe she wanted to find out more about it / or didn't believe she was actually dead and wanted to search for her)
assigned her as a polearm user bc in rvb i headcanon her as knowing how to fight with a bo staff. and assigned her cryo for reasons stated before ^^
Wash: Geo Sword, Mondstadt
the other element i'd assign him to would be anemo, specifically wash post-pfl. but ive put him as geo here bc 1. yellow. and 2. he's a sort of grounding presence around the others and that fits geo to me
Tex: Electro Claymore, Snezhnaya
from snezhnaya originally but moved to mondstadt at some point, which is where she met church.
in this AU i think she's gone missing or tends to travel a lot without telling anyone, so the others are just kinda waiting for her to come back.
i think i assigned her as electro bc i associated it with omega (purple). also it looks cool so
Doc: Dendro Catalyst, Sumeru
dendro's generally associated with knowledge or personal growth and i think that fits for him. he's a catalyst bc i can't imagine doc picking up any weapon other than a rocket launcher as o'malley
Sarge: Pyro Catalyst, Liyue
i don't know why sarge is one of the characters i can most easily imagine in the genshin world but he is. (along w lina and wash)
the liyue qixing has personally banned him from using fireworks. he got a little too enthusiastic about helping with the fireworks display at lantern rite..
catalyst user bc i think he throws explosives (like klee) though i can see him as a claymore user as well.
Donut: Anemo Bow, Liyue
i feel like anemo fits him. idk something something freedom to be himself and express himself how he likes
Grif: Geo Claymore, Sumeru
geo is. grounding. and he's chill. idk it works in my head.
Simmons: Hydro Bow, Fontaine
Tried to get into the Sumeru Akademiya but had his application rejected, then went on to travel to Liyue to pursue his own studies which is where he met Sarge and Donut for the first time
Lopez: ......Khaenri'ah?
Built by Sarge out of scrap ruin machine parts that he found out by some ruins. doesn't have a vision, though I think he fights using pyrotechnics or just, pyro.
Locus: Dendro Claymore, Sumeru
former corrupt mercenary, now trying to be a better person. i think he would've gotten his vision after his redemption arc and to him it symbolizes a new start.
BONUS!! freelancers & co:
North: Hydro Bow, Snezhnaya
i think he and south could both be orphans of the house of hearth or something. maybe they escaped from the fatui at some point (or maybe the freelancers *are* the fatui. theres another au i was thinking of similar to that but its very vague)
South: Electro Sword, Snezhnaya
she's soo electro to me. purple lightning fuck yeah
Wyoming: Cryo Bow, Fontaine
bow because he's a sniper. fontaine because he's british. not much to say here
Florida: Hydro Polearm, Inazuma
Maine: Pyro Claymore, Natlan
CT: Pyro Polearm, Natlan
479er: Anemo Catalyst
anemo bc she's a pilot. yeah
Felix: Pyro Sword, Inazuma
i personally think felix would use a delusion rather than a vision. especially because delusions are like a form of "false" power like power that's created rather than gifted by the gods like a vision is. he wants a vision soo badly but he was never given one so he had to use a delusion to feel powerful, and even then he's being actively harmed every time he uses it bc of how delusions drain their user's life force. could be poetic but im shit at wording it lol
Kimball: Hydro Sword, Sumeru
Doyle: Geo Catalyst, Fontaine

i'm going to confess to you on the last day of the windblume festival, okay? — so wait for me outside the tavern!
contains: venti x gn!reader, canon genshin universe... ish, cute stuff, reader is definitely unaware that he's barbatos lol
notes: reader is giving marupok idkidk, look ik venti isn't like in ur top five genshin men BUT COME ONN he's my fave can't you let me send in ONNEEE venti prompt?? 🥺🥺🥺
the fresh air of spring and the beloved celebrations of Mond and its archon, the windblume festival is in full swing! love and liveliness is everywhere, and even you too now have someone to pine over — the best bard of Mondstadt!
something about the man you have a puny little crush on makes you feel so, so giddy — as if a young teen in love. your thoughts of confession resurfaced in the light of the windblume festival, as you wish to make venti your windblume.
honestly, you've never thanked barbatos so much in a day for letting the months pass by so fast. you walk the streets like everyday, but what you feel is different. this isn't just the yearly windblume you'd been celebrating with friends; it's your chance! another one at love, the first one to venti...
you aren't very sure at how many shots of your love venti can take, because as much as he talks, he happens to be quite mysterious. alas, this could be because you aren't a raging drunkard rarely drink.
venti and you do often walk around together, strolling through the plaza just ahead of the adventurers guild. your feelings for him are different from the what you felt from the others. you're scared, but not in the ways of the past.
you're especially scared that he'll deny you — deny what you have to present for him. you have so much to unpack, so you start with giving venti a heads up for the upcoming one or two weeks...
"ah, venti! i'd been looking for you... ehm, could i talk to you for a bit?"
"[name], hello to you too! and of course."
"uh.. okay, um... i'm going to confess to you on the last day of the windblume festival okay?"
"huh..? [name], you don't mean-"
"so, just... wait for me outside the tavern!"
"hey, hey! you can't just tell me that all of the sudden..."
"...i have to go somewhere.., now — goodbye venti! make sure you don't forget!!"
...
you say goodbyes to your friends as they all go home. they all tease you for how you told venti you'd be confessing to him, but still! he'd never forget your words, would he?
-
look, stare, look away, repeat.
waiting... and he's still not out. you stand near the tavern, to watch for venti.
you hear the faint sound of a delicately played lyre and a certain bards voice...
"my windblume, mind to join me at starsnatch cliff?"
planning to write for kazuha soon ! not hcs and he is not mashed with another character this time - just kazuha and his glory. +SHOUTOUT TO LUNASMR YOU ARE A REAL ONE !!!! -still with you anon
yes, venti may not be in my top five genshin men but i’ll hold this prompt close to my heart because it’s so soft and nice my teeth started hurting..
chuckling to myself because this venti prompt is so fluffy it hurts

I feel like I'm gonna be that person but more voice lines 👀👀 maybe liyue this time? I found them sooooo cuteeeee!! ⊂(•‿•⊂ )*.✧
Hehe bet bet
You’re carrying my entire tumblr <3333 I appreciate it, hehe! Σ੧(❛〜❛✿) ♪ ((I’ll post a part II —- Apparently, there’s a limit on photos smh. As for why some characters have more lines than others, it’s because their relationship isn’t as close. [F/N] is kinda like any other Genshin character in this, as in they have their own connections. Some being stronger than others. <333 Tysm for the askkkkk!!! I’ll publish part II this evening or sometime tomorrow .

About [F/N] (Interest) : Ah, [F/N]? That adventurer? They’re likely one of the few serious adventurers associated with the Liyue Branch of the Adventurer’s Guild. It’s curious to me that they chose to live that life, instead of one of comfort. I feel as though, I could learn something from them. Pursuing one’s passions like that… It’s an admirable thing.
About [F/N] (Sharing Knowledge) : [F/N] is incredibly well versed in Liyue’s environment. Given their status as an adventurer, I am hardly surprised. Oftentimes, I find myself discussing the history of Liyue’s surroundings with them. It’s fascinating hearing what things are like now, as opposed to how they were when I first founded Liyue. [F/N] is someone I enjoy spending time with. They’re very polite, as well. They pay attention when I share things with them. Oh? Did you think I hadn’t noticed? Haah, that is fine. You’re forgiven. If you run into them, please send my regards…

About [F/N] ( Observation) : I’ve seen them pass through the mountains a few times, and I have decided they mean no harm. Usually, they clear out a few Hilichurls or monsters that wander too close to settlements. From my understanding that’s their job, which in that case I can’t really fault them. They’re a decent fighter, as well… I wonder how they’d react if I joined them in clearing out any potential threats…
About [F/N] ( Kindred Spirits) : Surprisingly, they do not mind my company in the slightest. They were more than willing to turn a blind eye when I joined them in battle. Afterwards, they offered to tend to any wounds I may have. As if I would be wounded in such a fight, yet the offer was a kind one. After that, they offered me their thanks and invited me to lunch of all things… It was surprising, but I think I rather like them. I look forward to fighting with them again soon…

About [F/N] ( Similarities ) : Oh… You want to know about them? Well, where should I begin? Ah, yes… They’re nearly impossible to get a rise out of, they always seem to be busy with something, and they almost always have some sort of interesting book on them… Sounds familiar? Exactly, my liege!!! [F/N] is indeed very similar to me in some manner, which I fear, is why our personalities clash so much.
About [F/N] ( Trading Books) : Despite our clashing personalities, [F/N] is the only one I trust to trade books with. We meet once a week to swap the latest editions. If it weren’t for the fact we always seem to argue, I’d call us friends. Ah? Frenemies? What on earth are those? Oh, I see… Someone who is friends, yet they often battle verbally? I suppose that fits, then. Ah, speaking of… I need to figure out a good comeback for this week’s book trade.

About [F/N] (The Arts ) : Ah? [F/N]! Mm, they’re a very interesting person. They’re rather good at writing scripts and lyrics, though they’d never admit to it. Oh? Heh. In that case, you didn’t hear it from me! I first met them when they were doing a Commision for the guild, they had to gather inspiration for an upcoming play, I believe… When they reported back, their words were rather poetic. That’s how I discovered that they enjoyed writing, after a bit of conversation… After all, only artists use such descriptive words when reporting something simple, like pigeons…
About [F/N] (Tea) : Their taste in tea is spectacular, and I’ve found more than a few diamonds in the rough because of them. Apparently, one of their hobbies is visiting various tea houses. According to them, the environment is good for their writing, which I believe fully. A certain degree of calmness is required to allow your imagination to run…

CHONGYUN
Tumblr media
About [F/N] ( Martial Arts) : [F/N]? They’re an incredible martial artist!!! I’ve asked them to train with me a few times. Surprisingly, whenever we train Xingqiu refuses to tag along. I’ve never seen him so shy before. I should ask them for some advice. Maybe there’s some sort of secret to dealing with his teasing…?
About [F/N] ( Cuisine ) Recently, they’ve introduced me to a few new dishes. They’re all cold dishes, and my favorite is likely either the chilled cucumber soup, or this thing they called Ice Cream. I have no clue how they come up with these, but I truly appreciate their consideration for my condition. [F/N] is a very thoughtful person and one that I cherish…

About [F/N] : [F/N]…? That name… sounds familiar… Oh… They’re the fairy that brings me my cocogoat milk… I hope they come soon… Cocogoat milk is tasty…

BAIZHU
Tumblr media
About [F/N] ( Explanations ) : Ah, yes… Ever since I hired them Qiqi has gone on and on about the cocogoat fairy… I have explained several times that they are not a fairy, but an adventurer under my employee. Qiqi refuses to believe that, however. She’s insistent that only a fairy could get milk from a legendary adepti beast… I would explain that it’s just coconut milk, however she’s been livelier lately. I’m sure she’ll find out the truth soon, regardless.. Haha, you’re awfully inquisitive today.
About [F/N] ( Work Ethic) : They’re always on time with the delivery, and I’ll admit that their work ethic is top tier. However, sometimes… Sometimes they get carried away. It’s appreciated, of course, but bringing in 200 qingxin flowers on top of the milk… I may as well be breaking labor laws, even if it’s a display of goodwill. As such, I have told them I’ll treat any injuries they get for free. It’s precautionary, of course. I am by no means growing attached…
✧ ✧ ✧
XINYAN
Tumblr media
About [F/N] : Oh!! I know them!! Yeah! They’re the greatest! Sometimes, I’ll get them to help out a lil’ in writin’ lyrics for my songs! I heard about em’ from Yun Jin!!! They were reaaaal embarrassed when I first asked em’ for help, though! Went as red as a Jueyun chili!!!
✧ ✧ ✧
XIAO
Tumblr media
About [F/N] : They’re skilled… Surprisingly adept for a mortal. Their patience is commendable… Is that all? Hmph. Fine then. How I feel about them? They’re a good worker…and person. Now, let me be.
