Staff: You tried making mandu bags* this time! Please share why you chose the designs and colors for both bags you made. *literally “dumpling” bag, a bag knitted in chunky yarn
Yoona: For both bags, I tried to have designs and colors that suit winter. Although I say that, I just had them in colors where you wouldn’t easily notice if they got dirty (laughs). So, you can carry the bags I made today around just fine!  Actually, I didn’t decide which one would be the gift at first, and thought of giving away the one that was better. That’s why the navy bag that’s better put together is the gift (laughs). I made the gray one first, so a few holes where I fretted a bit…(laughs). I’ll use the gray one myself! I’ll bring it home and try to match it with a fashion style. Also, both bags are shoulder bags, but that reflects my personal preferences. I like to have both of my hands free, so I thought that maybe everyone else feels that way, too. Sorry for not making fashion the priority (laughs). They are very practical bags.
Staff: How was the activity?
Yoona: Mandu bags have gotten popular recently and I actually have one (laughs). It’s a bit small, but I use it a lot so I thought to try making one myself, but it’s harder than I thought it would be. I could empty my mind of thoughts and concentrate, so I could see myself getting hooked on it, to the point where I want to buy the yarn and make it again later! It’s similar to knitting and easy to make, so I think it’ll be great as a present. The instructor took the lead when I was making the gray bag, but it was my first time so I didn’t have a lot of leeway. For the navy bag, I got used to it a bit and made it while being careful not to make mistakes. That’s why the bag for the gift has no holes (laughs). Come to think of it, Yuri’s nickname for her fans is mandu, so it might be a good idea to give her a mandu bag (laughs). 
Staff: Please share what you were the most particular about during the creation process.
Yoona: I concentrated a lot to not mess up the knitting sequence! I discovered a few mistakes when making the gray bag… Also, I made them while putting a lot of force in my fingers so that the yarn wouldn’t be loose, and because of that my fingers trembled a bit in the later half (laughs). But I was happy when the instructor praised how fast I was knitting! If I wasn’t trying to put so much force in my fingers, I could have made them even faster! (laughs).
Staff: How many points out of 100 would you give your work? Please share a reason for your scoring as well.
Yoona: First, I guess I would give myself 85 points for the gray one? It’s not perfect, but it turned out better than I expected. It’s nice to see the outcome appearing before my eyes the more I spent time on it. I wanted to give it a high score when I thought about the feeling of achievement when I finished it! Also, the gift bag is 90 points! I was careful not to make mistakes while making it, so it scores higher than the gray one (laughs). 
(Staff: If you were to make something different with this type of yarn, what would you make?) I want to make a cushion for dogs! My dog is white, so a color where the white fur wouldn’t stand out a lot would be nice (laughs). I would have to use a yarn that’s a little brighter.
Staff: If you were to go out using the mandu bags you made today, what kind of fashion would you like to match them with? Please share why as well.
Yoona: My outfit today is pink, so both colors I chose today would match it. So I would like to match them with a pink style. The bags have a cute impression, so I guess they would suit most kinds of simple fashion. They also seem like they would match monotone and pastel tone clothes!
Staff: I heard that mandu bags are currently a popular fashion item in Korea, but do you have a fashion item that’s caught your attention?
Yoona: Scarves are my favorite item for winter. They’re also easily fashionable and great for keeping you warm when wrapped around your neck. However, last year I had a lot of photoshoots and I couldn’t enjoy scarves as much as I would have liked, so I’d like to enjoy them this winter. With that intention, I checked how many scarves I owned and I have more than I thought (laughs). I feel like I have scarves in all colors. This winter I want to use them all (laughs).
Staff: Please share your recent happenings. 
Yoona: I’ve been taking breaks while doing schedules such as filming CMs!  I’m also making music together with Epitone Project, and my fanmeet tour starts in January, so I’ve been preparing for that. I’ll be able to meet fans both in Korea and abroad after such a long time, so I’m really looking forward to it.  On my days off, I lazily stay at home all day, eat delicious food, and recharge!
Staff: This SONE NOTE LIVE will be released in December. Looking back on the year, what was the most memorable event for you? Please share the episode as well. 
Yoona: It would have to be starring in the drama, “King the Land”. That was the biggest event for me this year. I’m really thankful that so many people watched it. I talked about my bucket list in a previous interview, and the first episode of “King the Land” was just airing at that time. Having that drama reach #1 globally was in my list and that’s my most memorable event this year since it actually happened! 
Staff: December is the time for opportunities to go to Christmas and New Year’s parties. Do you have a must have fashion item for them?
Yoona: I guess a warm and fashionable coat. Keeping warm is important, but I can't give up on fashion. Also, I can't leave out jewelry for parties. Simple but fashionable jewelry would be earrings. Ones that casually shine would be nice. So wearing those kinds of earrings with a simple sweater would be great as well.
Staff: While filming for a drama or movie, are there any moments during the filming when your real life and story are linked, or when you feel that your character is similar to yourself? Please share the episode as well.
Yoona: I feel a sense of familiarity with the people who actually work in the jobs I play, or in other words my level of understanding increases. For example, for “King the Land”, I played a hotelier and when I actually met one later, I approached and talked to them without thinking (laughs). When I’m in a hotel, I feel like I know everything like… This time is probably break time, their break room is over there, their cleaning room is probably over there. Just my own sense of familiarity (laughs). I also think it’s rather curious.
Staff: Please share your goals for the new year and your reasons for those goals.
Yoona: I haven’t been able to meet the fans for a long time, but I’ll finally be able to next year and think it will be great to make wonderful memories for all the time the fans have been waiting for. Also, the movie that finished filming last year, “Date at 2 O'Clock”, will be released soon! Next year I want to rest well while trying out new movies and dramas!
Staff: Finally a message for SONE JAPAN.
Yoona: I haven’t been able to meet you after so long, but we’ll see each other at the fan meeting next year! I’m happy to finally have the chance to go to Japan in this way. I’m preparing a lot for it so please wait just a bit longer! Let’s meet next year!

Psychology is one of those things that relies heavily on the power of observation. She isn't going for a doctorate in the subject for nothing. Watching and understanding is something she thrives at.
It's one of the reasons she and Charles have been together for so long. He gets lost trying to communicate and she helps him get to wherever his point is trying to go. She gets stuck over analyzing and he helps her process.
The one thing she's noticed in their time together is Max. Charles is his number one fan. It's a given, undeniable fact that she has come to love. Every interaction they have leaves Charles a mess and he's admitted to having a crush on the Dutch.
She doesn't mind one bit. Sure, her and Max might not be close, but they've had a few conversations here and there. If the human heart was only made to love one person then earth would be a sad place.
She's not surprised when Charles comes running up to her one day looking disheartened. He'd been talking about Max and his struggles. Specifically, the fact that sometimes Max gives hints of information just to shut down again.
Hence Charles asking Max to hang out more often. Specifically with her because where Charles fails in his responses, she knows how validate the small pieces Max gives them into his head.
She was never intentionally hiding what she does, she just didn't say anything about it and neither had Charles. Max had been adamant about not receiving help because he's fine and the two didn't want him to think tlthat she was going to be pulling tricks out of her sleeve. All they want is to make sure he knows that people care about him.
Max ends up coming around more often then not. She finds him around the paddock and makes sure to tell him goodluck. They go out to dinner and stay up in the living room playing games til ungodly hours in the morning.
Until Max found out. It was inevitably going to happen at some point. How is she supposed to keep masters, soon to he doctorate, in psychology hidden. Especially considering how close the three were becoming. She just wished it wouldn't have been the way it happened.
A knock at the apartment door alerts them close to midnight. They were in bed, ready to sleep and incredibly cozy.
Charles stumbles out first. A look of concern in his eyes as it could be a friend with an emergency. Which isn't wrong. Technically speaking.
She falls out of bed when the Dutch accent of Max fills her ears. It's angry at something and she's nervous Charles is about to get the brunt of whatever triggered Max.
She hops out of bed and scurried down the hall. "Max?"
His eyes are red and bloodshot. Muscles tense and rigid with squared shoulders. He's defensive. "You lied to me!"
Charles is standing like a dear in headlights. He looks clueless and lost on what to do. "Max, please-"
"What did we lie about, Max?" She gently takes a few steps closer to Charles and taps the Monegasque on the shoulder. A signal that he can relax a bit. Well - more like needs to for her sanity. She'd rather not have this escelate any more then it is.
"A psychology degree? When we're you planning on telling me?" His voice cracks. "Our whole relationship is a lie! Was this sone kind of sick ploy to use whatever I said against me, Charles? Using your girlfriend to get into my head?!"
She looks at him in understanding. "I can explain everything in the way you deserve, if you'll let me?"
Max reluctantly takes a seat in the living room. It's comfortable here. Less formal then the dining room table.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"That was my idea and I apoligize for that." She starts and Max seems to relax a little when he sees he apologetic look. It was never Charles' idea. "I wanted you to feel comfortable around me without you thinking I was trying to look into your head. Charles had wanted to become better friends and that included me being around more. I didn't want to ruin what you two have because of my profession."
Max's gaze becomes infinitely softer. His lips part just a tad and his eyes have a glossy screen over them.
Charles takes a deep breathe and she places a hand on his knee. A gentle reminder she's there with him. "The truth is, Max-" he shudders a but before continuing. "-I've liked you for a very long time. It was selfish of me to want to get closer to you. You just seemed so down recently I wanted you to feel cared for because I truly do care for you - both of us do."
"Both of you?"
"Yeah... the more I got to know you the more I could see what Charles sees." She laughs a bit at herself.
"I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions. I was just so upset that you didn't tell me. I - I guess I felt betrayed because I like you both. No, wait, we're being honest here right?" Both her and Charles nod him along in encouragement. Max looks at the ceiling, then the floor, then back to them. "I think I love you both? It's weird to think about, loving two people at once. I wasn't sure how I felt until I heard and then I realized how angry I was that I'd been played. And I just - I want you to know that I appreciate how kind you both have been to me. Maybe, if you're both willing, we could give this a try?"
Charles' eyes go wide. She thinks that he may pass out in shock until he starts talking. "We're cuddling. I don't care what either of you say. I think we all need it."
It may not have been the best way for Max to find out, but it led them here. Max comfortably tucked into the middle of the bed, all of them knowing how cared for they truly are.

The Past:
everything was quiet as you closed your eyes, apperantly thats something you need to do, before the reaching the said destination in the past. slowly more and more sounds were travelling to your ear ... but something was strange. i didnt sounded like people running around in a mansion, or villagers on busy streets ... it was loud, there were screams. iron clang into each other, as soon as a hurtful scream reached your ears, you finally opened your eyes. right in front of you was pure horror, a scene you only had seen on the tv screen. you were hidden behind a large rock as you peeked over the edge. there it was, a hundred, no thousand of man running into each other with their swords. many of them were laying on the ground, you couldnt tell if they were dead of unconscious. some of them surely werent breathing anymore.
with terrified eyes you turned around to the fairy "what is this?! i thought you would bring me to the place were that picture was taken!"
"i-i dont know what happened really! maybe this ... place called for you"
"called for me?! im a damn woman on a freaking battlefield, i will get killed within seconds ... or worse" a shudder ran through your body as you remembered all the stories about war in one of your lectures.
"I-Im sorry, i will try to figure out how to bring you back ... just, just stay here" with those words the fairy vanished into thin air. leaving you between dead bodies and fighting man.
the whole situation was terrifying. shaking in fear you leaned against the sone with your back, hoping that no one would find you here. another scream was heard, you could hear how the blood gushed out of his mouth.
"hurry .." your voice was only a whisper as you waited for the fairy to return.
at the same time a familiar voice catched your attention "I got him! without them their front will be weak. we should hurry before they call for back up!"
slowly your head appeared from behind the stone. a few metres away from you was a man, he pulled his sword out of the other man's chest. the sound it made was disgustin. with a smile the man turned to the side so you were able to see his face. in front of you stood jimin, he cleaned his sword on his leg.
"good work jmin"
hooves could be heard on the ground as a horse drew near. heavy boots made the mud on the ground splatter into different directions. the man who just jumped down from his horse was no other than jungkook. same as jimin he wore a heavy armor with an iron plate around his chest. jungkook looked fine, his body was covered in blood but it wasnt his. on his cheek was a deep cut, however he seemed overall fine to you. a relieved sigh escaped your lips as you kept watching them. this must be the "war" jimin spoke about before you were thrown out of Jungkook's bedroom.
"damn fairy ..." you mumbled to yourself. if you were able to stay longer, maybe he would had stayed back.
the two man in front of you kept laughing as they moved the corpses near the stone you were hiding. automatically you held your breath, hoping they wouldnt see you. you were supposed to be somewhere else, it was too risky to reveal yourself now. maybe something like this could change the future into a negative direction.
suddenly the horse got nervous. his hooves scraped on the ground, dugging deep holes into the muddy ground.
"whats wrong buddy?" jimin walked over to the horse. no one was around and he couldnt see anyone.
"maybe hes just hungry, its been a while since we ate something" as usual jungkook was more than optimistic. he also didnt sensed any kind of danger in that moment.
you saw how jimin just shrugged before he got back to moving the dead bodies to the side. you didnt knew why they did that but the nervous horse made you nervous too. something was wrong. an animal would never react this way if there isnt any danger. while the boys were busy you kept looking around. at least someone should keep watch.
"but ... how will i be able to help.." you mumbeled to yourself.
at the same moment the horse let out a loud "scream". with a heavy thud it fell to the ground. an arrow had hitted it right into its left leg. the wound wasnt fatal but enough to made the horse panic. it was squirming on the ground as jimin was quick enough to pull the arrow out of its leg.
"jungkook! we need to go!"
jimin tried to push the horse up again, he was successful but the animal had other plans. as more arrows were raining down it made a break for it. leaving the man behind. jungkook turned his head which made you dissapear behind the stone again.
"well too late i guess" he drew his sword as 5 man approached them. they werent too friendly.
the next thing you heard were sounds of swords getting smashed into each other, mixed with screams. deep inside you prayed that those screams didnt belonged to jimin or jungkook.
"fuck!"
slowly you peaked again. the ground was painted in red, there was so much blood that it moved towards your stone. as you lifted your head a gruesome scene played right in front of you. jimin was bleeding heavily as he held his stomach. one sword in his shaky hand, he was standing in front of something, or rather in front of someone. your fingers dug deep into the mud as you finally moved your head to the body jimin was protecting. at the same time your heart sunk deep into your stomach. on the ground was jungkook, a puddle of blood had formed underneath him. his breathing was faint but still there.
"go and fuck yourself" jimin couldnt do more than only standing his ground.
the man in front of him chuckled. this is it. they will both die here. so many thoughts were running through your head as a second man tackled jimin to the ground. he held his arms as the other guy slowly moved forward to jungkooks body.
"finally, finally we will kill the war hero. his legacy will end here and us ... the Min Clan will rule over this country"
"no! i wont let you assholes kill him!" jimin was still struggling underneath the second soldier.
you could tell by the draining colour of his face that he already lost a lot of blood. the struggling just made it worse. the man in front of jungkook lifted his sword, ready to pierce it right through his heart. jungkook coughed on the ground, eyes still closed.
" .... no ... i cant .. NO!"
new strength went right into your legs as you leaped forward from behind the stone. your shoes sank into the mud as you ran into the direction of jungkook. you nearly stumbled a few times and to your suprise you managed to crash into the soldiers body, making him stumble to the side.
"YN?!" jimin's eyes widen "are yoz stupid?! what are you doing here?! run! hide!"
the moment the man regained balance you immediately kneeled down into the mud, both of your arms wrapped arounds jungkooks body as you pressed him close to you.
"i cant! you wont hurt him!"
both of them man were laughing now as the one came back to you, sword lifted "i wont mind killing you both honey".
you pressed your face against Jungkook's cheek. it didnt mattered if you died here, as long he can survive its fine. but there was still one chance and you decided to take it.
"please ... stop this! bring me ... bring us home! please bring us home and save him!" you shouted at the top of your lung. a warm and cozy light started to surround the both of you.
it was so calming and warm that you closed your eyes. against your chest you could feel jungkook's heartbeat, steady and strong as you succumbed to the darkness.
The Present:
"YN?! YN wake up!" someone shook your body, hard.
a grunt left your lips as you slowy moved your body to the side. something heavy was laying on your arm so you forced your eyes open. right in front of you was jimin, looking terrified.
"jimin...?"
"What .. what the fuck is this YN?! what the fuck.. WHO IS THIS!"
slowly you moved your head to your left side. it was hard to notice something as your eyes needed to adjust to the brightness in the room. jimin kept shaking you as another grunt was heard. this time it wasnt from you. the moment you heard that your body was up and wide awake. finally you manage to see who was right beside you and for a moment you thought you were dreaming.
"tell me this is a fucking sick joke" jimin was still talking with you but you really didnt heard him.
right beside you was jungkook, still bleeding. another jolt went through your body as you pulled your arm out from underneath him. the next thing you did was pushing jimin away from you.
"shut up and help me!"
"W-what?!"
"he is bleeding. stop acting like an idiot. next to the library is a bathroom get the first aid kit from there" you sat right beside jungkook, trying to get the iron plate off of him.
"fine. but you owe me a fucking explanation" mumbling to himself jimin made his way to the bathroom next door.
in the meantime you were able to remove all the armor from his body. kook's white shirt was drenched in blood as you unbuttoned it with shaking hands. you were scared that his wound might be untreatable. taking him to a hospital wasnt an option, you didnt had a drivers license and jimin doesnt seem like he came by car.
your hands were completely covered in blood as you opened the shirt. there was a deep wound in his abdomen but it didnt looked fatal. it was just bleeding a lot. examining the wound further jimin finally came back with the first aid kit.
"so?"
as you tend to his wounds, wrapping bandages around his body, jimin still had a big question mark on his face.
"would you believe me if i tell you that i can travel back in time and .. this is Jeon jungkook?"
"with every other scenario i would say you are freaking crazy but this-" jimin pointed at the bleeding jungkook "this isnt damn normal. so yes, for now i believe you"
a sigh escaped your mouth as you explained the whole situation to jimin. he really believed you, at least for now. after kook was all bandaged up, jimin helped you to get him into your bedroom. the hardest part would be to hide him from your grandparents. before jimin went home he helped you to hide the armor in the back of the basement. no one went there for years so it was well hidden there. the blood on the library floor was something you insisted to clean by yourself. it was your fault in the first place that he got here.
exhausted you finally got into your room around 4am in the morning. to your relief kooks breathing was stable and the wound stopped bleeding. you leaned against the bed with your back thinking about everything that just happened. you saved him but what now?
"we are in big trouble.." from the corner of the room the fairy finally made herself noticable. you had sensed her a while ago.
"i know ..."
"i dont even know how you managed that ... bringing him with you. because this wasnt my doing" with a serious expression the fairy looked over to the bed.
"well ... it is what it is now ... I just dont know what will happen now"
suddenly the fairy looked a little bit cheerful "dont worry, i will go back and check what this ... incident will cause in the past. for now, make sure he will feel better soon. i wont be able to send him back like this"
with those words the fairy vanished again. hopefully nothing bad will happen and hopefully jimin is fine. at least jimin still exist in your time so that must mean he was saved back on the battlefield. maybe the light caused auch a disturbance that he was able to free himself?
your mind was going crazy as you leaned your head back. your whole body was aching from worry. it didnt took you long before you succumbed to the darkness. the last thing you notices was, how something shifted on your bed and how someone placed a hand on the top of your head. it felt soothing, making it easier for you to fall asleep.

This might not be normal but I’m dying to know your opinion on the ship wars. I don’t know why I’m obsessed with your opinion on the matter but I am very interested in your thoughts on it. 🙂

(pls note these are my opinions)
i don't have extreme opinions on the ship themselves. like lucien, elain, gwyn, azriel, and morrigan are all very boring characters to me. i feel like all of these pairings would be like watching paint dry. like let's think about it - elain's pov would literally just have to rework and rehash so many events in the story to make her likable (to the general audience). we've already discussed their vague human life and its clear sjm didn't really event that much lore about their lives before the story. elain has no conflicts with any members save for the whole weird and awkward mate / azriel situation. there's no established villain. azriel has no personality. lucien is in limbo and has no personality. the whole thing about lucien being helion son is ultimately useless and doesn't really change anything (the story is also arguing that i should root for helion despite the fact he just is okay with loa being abused). beron is a caricature villain who made his life harder by just reviving his age old enemy whom he dislikes and has since he was born. so how serious am i supposed to take him as a villain?
koschei is just there and is also another villain with no personality. morrigan also has no personality. gwyn is also just there and I mean I wouldn't say there's a lot of build-up for her either. but at the very least she has some inner conflicts to resolve. rhys is obviously not going to be a real barrier. there's literally no appeal to any of these characters IMO.
if the story would handle an illyrian plotline with emerie and azriel at the wing, i'd probably be interested but unfortunately sjm is the writer so it wouldn't be good. but yeah weirdly enough I would enjoy an emerie x az story (not romantic - but I wouldn't mind; I would love an emerie x female illyrian but alas there are no named illyrian females in this entire series besides her). i think the story unironically sets up an interesting dynamic between the illyrians and the night court but the story genuinely doesn't seem them as victims in any capacity - but I've got to admit its an interesting setup. think about it:
illyrians mothers raise these sons who grow up to hate them. women are isolated in these communities and robbed of their ability to fly; but these women are also semi-indoctrinated to sone extent to exalt this system of brutality and violence. mother's send their sons off to the blood rite to die so that they can serve and protect an utopia (velaris) that they have no access to. their high lord passes law - but is naught to enforce them because he recognizes who integral this oppression is to his political and militaristic aspirations. their high lord leaves their burgeoning communities without leadership for almost half a century to join forces with amarantha but then comes back after his tenure and SLAUGHTERS and tortures hordes of people for doing the same thing despite the fact he removed any court protection from them.
its interesting to me! id read that. it also kind of reminds me of the dynamic between paul atreides / jessica and their use of the fremen in dune (please read if you haven't! very fun and surprisingly easy read!)

[name] :: have been classmates with suna since first year. was intimidated by him and never really talked to him outside of group projects until she got assigned to be seatmates with him through out second year. bonds with suna over music, especially arctic monkeys. is also (kinda) close with osamu since she played matchmaker for him and airi. doesn't have a sense of humor.

Introduction
I am the mun. You can call me Erik. Pronouns are he/him exclusively and I am 21+. I’ve been RPing outside of Tumblr in various fandoms for several years with friends. I had a brief stint RPing Tumblr in other fandoms as well. Now I’m back because inspiration struck.

I'm trying to nail down aspects of body language and filming styles in the movie, and just rewatched the penultimate scenes of Withnail and I. There is a great subtlety to the last scene in the flat which I missed before. It’s amazing how much they managed to cram into it.
These two scenes aren’t often spoken about or analyzed much, which is rather a shame as they have a lot of really interesting details which I wanted to share for those who love the film. They are really interesting examples of the way both writing and camerawork work together to portray the beginning of the end. At the same time, contrasting it to the rest of the film is a fantastic way to learn how good filming techniques can really deepen the sense of connection between characters.
In ways I actually feel that these sections are as sad as the final scene in the rain, as you can see that Withnail is both devastated and unwilling to accept the full reality of what is happening. They show that awful stage which I think most people will resonate with, when everything is starting to go to shit, there is an air of dread pervading the whole enterprise, and yet there's absolutely fuck-all you can do about it.
You can see, in the scene back at the flat, that the accord, trust, and physical harmony between Marwood and Withnail has completely disintegrated. They are no longer pursuing the same goals- Marwood wanders in and out of shot with tasks variously related to the house, the part, and his nervous freak-out, fragmenting not only the conversation but also the lines of movement across the screen. Marwood is also realizing that he doesn’t want to live like this any more.

Withnail’s anxiety, and focus on, Marwood is also reflected in the script; it’s easy to miss, but the reason he walks over to the window is because he’s following Marwood walking to the phone box outside. He is deeply unsettled without Marwood and can’t relax (with the exception of briefly being knocked-out from the joint).

He and Withnail do not stay put within the same frame (which they have previously shared for most of the films) and their lingering glances have stopped. They no longer touch. Their ‘groupings’ have shifted- Marwood can be seen in various frames, only in fragmentary glimpses, crossing to and fro. Most of the conversation also relates to endings or confusions of various kinds. The tracking seems disjointed and lacks the tightness of Marwood's POV and narration, probably reflective of Withnail's scattered state of mind.
Compare this to sections of their earlier scenes, where Withnail and Marwood are usually standing very close together, sharing most frames, making sustained and intense eye contact and working to the same goals. Frequently, their scenes show them occupying the frame in extreme close-up for long stretches of time, filtering out much of their surroundings and focusing their attention on each other. This has completely stopped in the penultimate two scenes. Annoyingly Tumblr won’t let me add more images via the app, but I’ll try to see if I can do it via desktop at sone point.
Withnail is now usually paired up visually with Danny and Presuming Ed. This grouping doesn’t quite suit him- you can see how different his body language is when away from Marwood’s presence, in particular his assertiveness- he even takes up less space in the frames, perhaps a symptom of Marwood’s disinvestment in him.

Along with this, his body language and voice tone has changed. See how dejected he looks during Danny’s spiel about ‘letting go of the rope’ and the end of the 60s. This may also be because it mirrors Marwood’s decision to leave; (who pushes past Withnail and exits the frame for the kitchen just before this starts, failing to rejoin the group afterwards.) His voice in this section is also unusually soft and subdued.

For those who are a bit crushed by Marwood’s seeming indifference, it’s worth noting he does not look at all happy to be leaving (in fact this is so important that it is even explicitly noted in the stage directions); and he looks back to his room not once, but twice. His body language is more withdrawn than usual and his voice more downcast. In the script, the last book he packs is a notebook titled ‘Withnail and I,’ his account of their time together, which he obviously values enough to bring with him.

Initially, as Withnail comes into frame, he appears to be ignoring Marwood.
However, then he actually glances back surreptitiously to see where he is

…then carries on ignoring him. (This is a very subtle detail and almost impossible to clearly screenshot - it only lasts a split second and is just a movement of the eyes). It’s an interesting hint as to the fact Withnail does not always show what he’s actually feeling and that there is often an element of subterfuge involved; it’s of particular interest here that it’s his vulnerability that he’s trying to obscure, especially given the final speech in the park. We only actually see his raw emotion and pain once he is outside of Marwood’s sight/ frame of reference, which has rather interesting implications. What else has he potentially missed?
It’s fantastically subtle acting and well worth rewatching the scene, as it gives a rare glimpse of Withnail’s underlying fragility
You can also see the table, laid for two people, to the left, which is a nice little detail.
It’s interesting to note here that this little smile and pitch shift where Marwood tells him his dad will sort out the car is the last recognizable bit of the ‘Marwood’ we have known in the film. You can see that he is trying to say it in a more cheerful way, presumably in an attempt to lift Withnail (or the mood) a bit.
Just after this is when Withnail gets up ‘casually’, properly acknowledges Marwood and asks if he wants a final drink. He has the aspect of a child who wants something very much but won’t admit it, and who is being unsuccessfully sneaky as a result, which really suits Withnail’s mix of amorality, innocence and vulnerability. In fact, the egotism of Withnail is really more like the egotism of a child than that of an adult, which is probably why he ultimately still comes off as lovable, and why Marwood has so frequently forgiven his terrible and utterly enraging behaviour.
He’s unnaturally cheerful and is obviously desperate to have him for just a little bit longer- hopeful, yet about to be disappointed. After Marwood refuses, he grabs his umbrella and insists on coming along, still overly jolly and enthusiastic, ignoring all Marwood's subtle gestures of rejection.
It’s an interesting example of the way Grant sneaks subtle flashes of vulnerability into his character. Another good example of this is his expression in the phone booth when his agent hangs up on him, and obviously also that final scene in the rain (might bung that one up in future too as it’s also a good scene.)
This fear of losing Marwood is in ways hinted at throughout the film, with its general themes of entropy and physical decay. But it is also shown more personally- from Withnail twice reacting furiously to him saying ‘We’re in the same boat’ to his resistance to the idea of him applying for the role, and his frequently-expressed fear that Withnail himself is never going to be a success. So this section is the tail- end of a long running thread.

Mobile Suit Gundam submission:
""Char Aznable is a pedo."" This comes from a line in Char's Counterattack (a deeply beloved film in the franchise) where another character- Gyunei Guss- tries to impress a girl. Or, rather, drive her away. I know, it's complicated but let me explain; I'm going to have to break down a character's major arc across two TV shows and a film, please follow me here, I'm going to try to abridge this. Char Aznable is to Gundam as Darth Vader is to Star Wars. Famous characters who wear helmets and have an aura of mystique to them. Char Casval Deikun, the son of a dead politician who took revenge on the family that assassinated his father by assuming a new identity...which is Char Aznable. Over the course of Mobile Suit Gundam (aka 1st Gundam, aka Double-Oh Seventy Nine (0079) after the year it takes place in) he meets a young woman named *Lalah Sune.* Char has been on a rage bender and has lost himself in his revenge, killing even a dear friend (and possible former lover??) in the process, and she...makes him feel something. The two begin fighting alongside each other in the war until she tragically dies in battle. Somethingsomething the horrible interpersonalness of war...anyways, Char was MESSED UP by her death. Like, it permanently emotionally stunted him, and he never really got over her. It's worth noting that Char was 19 and she was 17. Keep this in mind. Char stumbles through life (another alias, Quattro Bageena; yes seriously) disaffected, unable to form meaningful romantic relationships, and only really feeling alive in the heat of battle. Flash forward 14 years. After....A LOT of other crap has happened, Char is not doing too hot mentally and can really only focus on his rival Amuro Ray (I've kept him out of this so far because bringing him in would make it messier and harder to explain to a newcomer, but I have to now). Char has a lover named Nanai Miguel at this point, but he picks up a disaffected youth by the name of Quess Paraya. Quess is ignored by her father, who is too busy banging prostitutes, thus she is constantly acting out to seek attention. Quess, mind, is 14. Quess joins Char's faction because she feels more wanted there. When, truth is, Char- who can only really view people as tools to be used- sees untapped potential and a new weapon. Quess begins hanging off of his arms, spending all her time with her...but he's...distant. He never looks at her directly. Any physical contact is initiated by her, and he only says the slightest thing to gently push her in the direction he needs her to go. So, we come to the infamous scene. Where Gyunei says, ""Some pilots say he's into young girls."" Gyunei is a pilot under Char's wing, one of his best...but Gyunei resents Char because of his inferiority complex. Gyunei is trying to drive a wedge between Quess- who blindly and naively follows Char- and his boss. Which...is honestly skeevy on its own, he's 19 and, as stated before, Quess is 14. He's DESPERATELY making passes at her, it's really pathetic. And this line, this one line, has lived on in infamy because people are SO CERTAIN that it's true when it was just something a character pulled out of his ass in an attempt to pick up a pre-teen! It's worth nothing that earlier in the film, Nanai was all-up-ons Char in nothing but a bathrobe, her breasts almost spilling out...and that DID NOTHING FOR HIM. If Char isn't even interested in his own lover, why would he care about some kid he picked up to use as a cudgel in his war? His last words in the film are lamenting how Lalah could have 'been a mother to him', which is its own can of worms, but we're not here to analyze that. People often point back to Char dating Lalah as evidence of this when the age gap between him and Lalah was perfectly normal. So, in conclusion: Yes, Char is an emotionally stunted sociopathic weirdo....but he's not a pedo.

Staff: You tried making neon signs this time! You thought of the design beforehand, but please share the motifs and the reasons for your design.
Taeyeon: I made it as a present for my mother. She loves drinking and is great at cooking, so sometimes inviting her friends over to have a drink is a fun way to spend her time. That’s why the sign I made is called “Heezakaya”, a mix of my mother’s name “Hee-ja” and “izakaya”*! I think my mother will definitely be overjoyed with this as a present! *TL note: Japanese style bar I don’t drink, so when it’s me and her, I can only be her side dish (laughs). I’m the side dish who’s always talking (laughs).  As for the design, I had two ideas and showed them to my mother beforehand, but she took too long to decide so in the end I went with the design I liked. But when I started working on it, she got back to me and liked the idea that I didn’t choose… (laughs) Can’t be helped!
Staff: How was the activity?
Taeyeon: Neon signs are something that you often see everyday, but this kind of experience was a first for me. It was really fun, but it was actually a bit scary at first. The neon signs I’ve seen are large billboards, so I was a bit uneasy if this could be a dangerous task. Like it’d be scary to get an electric shock (laughs). When I was a kid, I touched a neon sign and felt a shock. But I was relieved that the ones for today use batteries (laughs). They were so cute, all miniature like. If I get used to the work process, I think it would be a perfect present for someone! There’s a lot of work to bend it into the design and adjusting the amount of strength is important, but I believe that someone who is good with their hands will get accustomed to it quickly!
Staff: Please share what you were the most particular about during the creation process.
Taeyeon: I was particular with the color choice. I wanted the color for the name to be vividly seen. I wanted the design to match wine, so I wanted to have it be wine colored, but there was a limited selection of colors, so I went with a cute pink. I think it really suits my mother’s name and it’s a color that I really thought carefully over.  Also, I got help from the instructor while working on it, but making the characters was difficult due to the many bent parts. There’s wire inside the neon tubes, so bending it needed more strength than I thought. I thought that it was easy to make once I got used to where to bend the tube and calculate what length tube is needed for which part.  Finally, the glue easily got on my fingers, so I worked while watching out for that! It was instant glue so it would immediately stick (laughs).
Staff: How many points out of 100 would you give your work? Please share a reason for your scoring as well.
Taeyeon: Around 40 points. It was my first time making it and I’m hard on myself (laughs).
Staff: If you were to display the neon sign you made, which room would you recommend? Please share why as well.
Taeyeon: “Senses” is a keyword for neon lights. Many photos on social media have a very emotive atmosphere. It also functions as a light for atmosphere, so it might be great to display it in a room with a vintage feel. If I was to make a neon light for my own room, I’d design a symbolic picture rather than characters. I think I would use it as a light at night, so I want to have it as a moon or star! A night sky that you can enjoy in your room would be amazing, right? ^^
Staff: Your solo concert in 3 years, “TAEYEON CONCERT -The ODD Of LOVE” was held in Tokyo. It’s been 4 years since your solo concert in Japan, but how was it looking back? 
Taeyeon: The Japan concerts had great acoustics and my condition was very good. I’m the type to be easily influenced by my surroundings, so I was satisfied with everything in such a splendid environment. The staff were very kind and attentive, and in my best condition and the best environment… That was the most memorable. It was my first Japanese concert in a long time, and without a doubt the concerts held a lot of meaning for me even if I only had one concert, but I was so very thankful that my second concert date was sold out. The band was really great too… Ah, come to think of it, the Japanese fans changed a bit. They were a bit more lively, or rather, more proactive (laughs). Before they were really quiet! I’m happy that they listened so earnestly, but I was delighted that I could really hear their cheers this time. They called out my name and I was happy that they seemed to enjoy the loose atmosphere♡
Staff: You went to 8 cities in Asia for your solo concert. Please share if you have a memorable episode from your Asia tour.
Taeyeon: I just ate bananas (laughs). The setlist for this tour really required endurance, but it was hard since I didn't eat a lot and lacked stamina. I had to keep replenishing my energy and bananas especially helped. Eating just one really filled me up, so they were indispensable during the tour! I ate bananas from a lot of countries (laughs). I of course ate bananas in Japan! They were delicious!
Staff: Traveling for long hours during your tour would make it easy to get tired, but please share if you have a routine for relieving fatigue. 
Taeyeon: I take frequent half body baths. Rather than taking them before bed, I usually do it right after I wake up in the morning. I like starting my day with them. I also do a lot of self massage. Loosening up my neck muscles by gently massaging them can relax my vocal cords. I reduce mental stress by watching movies and dramas on my tablet. Ah, in Japan I really like to go to the convenience stores at night. I usually buy gummies (laughs). 
Staff: This SONE NOTE LIVE will be released in October. In Japan, autumn is a season with various appeals such as for art, food, and sports. What kind of season is autumn for you?
Taeyeon: Recently there are many hot days and autumn is so short that it can’t even be called autumn. I wonder what kind of season it is. It’s a season for the senses, so I guess it’s a season to listen to my songs (laughs). I have a lot of songs with bands and many of the lyrics are also emotional, so I think they really suit the cooler season. Autumn is really short, so it’s important to listen to it during this time!
Staff: Finally a message for SONE JAPAN!
Taeyeon: This tour reminded me that you’ve always supported me, so thank you so much. Please invite me! So that I can perform in Japan again! I want to see you all!

While concerns of geography, place, and conquest/control are prominent in much medieval romance literature—particularly Arthurian romance—Malory’s text is unique among accounts of King Arthur for the way in which it imagines the map of Arthur’s world, an imagining that is best understood when viewed in light of some of the specific concerns of fifteenth-century England.
Engaging the Morte Darthur from the perspective of Cornwall helps throw into sharp relief the contours of the unique problems inherent in the late medieval British relationship between regionalism and nationalism. Using Cornwall in Malory as a kind of pivot point, we can apprehend this relationship between the whole and the part, but we cannot resolve it. Indeed, close analysis reveals that it can never be resolved, and herein lies the significance. the stubborn refusal of Cornwall to be categorized—and our attention to this refusal—helps us better see the Morte Darthur as a text that produces difference and presents challenges so that its characters have a means of defining themselves. Cornwall helps make plain the necessity of always striving toward resolution, toward incorporation, but never achieving it. The endless deferral is essential to Malory’s narrative.

It is a commonplace to note that the world in which Malory lived was one full of territorial concerns and the mourning of geographic losses. At the time when Malory was writing his text, the Angevin empire had long been whittled away. all English continental holdings—save Calais—were gone, and England itself was fractured in multiple ways. although both Malory and his first printer, Caxton, refer many times to “all ye englishmen,” their contemporaries were much more likely to identify themselves first in terms of their local affinities rather than their national ones. This does not preclude national sentiment, but it does mean we must pay as much attention to local identities as to national.
Such a self-identification becomes all the more interesting when we consider that many of those living in Cornwall in Malory’s day most likely spoke Cornish as a first language, although many certainly also spoke english. Thorlac Turville-Petre argues that “defining the nation in terms of territory or race presents considerable complications. By far the most satisfactory form of self-definition is in terms of language, wherever this can be achieved.” By this definition, Cornwall would seem to be an entity distinctly separate from England. the position of this region within Malory’s text becomes even more interesting when we consider that Benedict Anderson has famously and contentiously suggested that it is the explosion of print culture that helps give rise to the nation—an “imagined community”—through the fixing and dissemination of texts in vernacular languages.

Cornwall is contradictorily both part of england and distinct from it, as Patricia Clare Ingham’s astute comment on the opening lines of the Morte Darthur makes clear: “either the ‘all’ of england Uther rules does not include Cornwall, or Uther remains only titular ruler there, his power compromised by the duke’s rebellion” (see figure 1.1). Cornwall is the source of Malory’s Arthurian community at the level of narrative—Arthur is born here to a Cornish mother—and Cornwall is the Morte Darthur’s center in terms of structure—the middle third of Malory’s text is based on the old french Prose Tristan. in the final conflict between Arthur and Launcelot, the knights of Cornwall side with Launcelot: “then there felle to them, what of north walys and of Cornwayle, for sir lamorakes sake and for sir trystrames sake, to the number of a seven score knyghtes” (1170.26–29). and it is from Cornwall that Arthur’s heir comes, as we are told in the closing lines of the Morte: “then syr Constantyn that was syr Cadores sone of Cornwayl was cho- sen kyng of englond, and he was a ful noble knight, and worshipfully he rulyd this royaume” (1259.27–29). again and again, Malory’s Morte Darthur returns to the realm of Cornwall, as if seeking to reconcile the identity of this geographic space with that of the arthurian community to which it gave birth, from which it remains estranged, and to which it is essential.

Yeah, you already know how I feel about instrumentals. Side note, this song would go hard as a beat saber level.
The Saga of You, Confused Destroyer of Planets: 8/10
While this song used to be my favorite on the album, it recently became overshadowed by others. Also, I heard this one cover called The Saga of Ballsack Joe, Confused Destroyer of Bitches by The Ballsacks that is mostly the original lyrics with dirty words stuffed in and the original instrumental playing distorted in the background. When I heard it, I thought it was immature and got all pissed off and couldn't stop ranting in my head about it every time I heard the original song. Moral of the story, I'm a stupid buzzkill and should learn to lighten up a little.
Mr. Wolfgang: 6.75/10
This song was one of the few songs I liked upon first listen to the album, along with TSoY,CDoP and Boat. However, it shortly became overplayed in my head. This song DOES have a slight touch of edginess, but it knows what it's doing and doesn't take itself more seriously than it should. Also, BANG BANG, HE JUST SHOT HIS BOSS. BANG BANG HE JUST SHOT HIS BOSS'S BOSS!
Boat: 8/10
Before I actually liked this album, this song was my favorite from it. While I do like it less than I used to, it's definitely in my album top 3. One of my favorite lyrics in the album is "AEIOU sometimes Y, Why not!" It's a dumb piece of wordplay just kinds stuffed in the song, but it doesn't take itself too seriously, and works in my opinion.

Don't really have anything to say. Good song. I liked when there was the fiberglass monkey. Classic example of the hero's journey. Kid is haunted by fiberglass monkey. Kid gets bat. Kit hits fiberglass monkey with said bat. Fiberglass monkey dies. What's not to love?
Fly Straight or Drop the Oar and Wreck: 7/10
I like most of the song. I really like the background vocals when he says "plate right now." Also, It's really satisfying when he finally "Fly straight or drop the oar and wreck." The violin at the end of the song is a little drawn out, though.
Oz Explodes 7.5/10
Took me embarrassingly long to realize the song's lyrics were taken directly from the wizard of oz. Okay embarrasing story, it took me like two months to realize that

B. and more embarrassingly, this song is in Japanese
okay, so the first time I heard this song it played right after Booja Jabooja so naturally, I assumed it was another made up language that just so happened to sound a lot like Japanese and English. Actually never mind, there's no defending myself. That was stupid of me.
Switzerland: 9/10
Good song, one of my album favorites. The story does lead me to wonder, though, did the protagonist ever make it to Switzerland? Why couldn't this story have any closure like Fiberglass Monkey did? Oh why, Neil 20 years ago, did you do this???

this song was my ringtone for, like, a really long time. I like this song, but it radiates with edginess. THAT ENDING WAS GREAT. IT WAS A PERFECTLY FINE, NOT AT ALL DISSAPOINTING ENDING UNTIL HE STARTED REPEATING THE LYRICS "DISSAPOINTING ENDING", THEREFORE MAKING THE ENDING DISSAPOINTING. SCREW YOU NEIL (I don't actually care that much)
Birdhouse In Your Soul: 7.5/10
I don't think that before hearing this version, I had ever listened to the TMBG version. Strangely enough, the song felt very familiar, and when I did eventually listen to the original version it felt very familiar. Side note, if anybody reading this is a TMBG fan, how do you feel about this cover (especially if you listen to they might be giants but haven't listened to the cover yet, listen and tell me how you feel!)

Mold en Mono: 9/10
Love this song, easily my favorite. If you listen close enough, you'll hear the cuica sounds that Neil used before it was even cool (cough cough Baldi's Basics cough cough). Anyway, I love the layering of the lyrics in the outro, and it's very funny to me the origin of the song's title (search it up, I don't feel like typing). Classic Live From The Haunted Candle Shop song.
Movie Night: 6.5/10
It's not a bad song, but it's too slow for my liking. I remember the first couple times I listened to it I would wait for it to get faster and more exciting, and it never happened. Back then, I'd have probably given it a 4/10 but it's since grown on me

Twitter showed me sone terrible takes on AM and Izu, nothing new here. But here I'm to rant about this.
I have to say....I get it. No, really, I do. When people make fics where AM is either malicious or too dumb to live...I get why rhey they are doing this...I get where they formed this wrong idea.
For example, when we had a fic where AM is racist towards quirkless- note how those fics skew away from AM being quirkless himself- is bc in canon we never had an in depth on AM's life.
Was his childhood rough or easier? Did he always wanted to be a hero or was a fateful meeting with Nana that lead to his career?

Yeah we don't know. So I get why people would make fics where he is racist towards quirkless bc is easier and....the fic writer can prop up fanon dadzawa "I don't need my quirk to be a hero" (forgetting canon Aizawa usea his quirk 100%)
But ok...let's go to another type of fics. "AM is too stupid to live" and YES. I get this one. It's the basic plot where AM own stupid allows Izu to fall from grace and be a villain ...
And while I do have issues with AM's canon intelligence here (not about if he can do math or science) we would have to take in account the intelligence of every staff in UA.
I mean....BK is clearly hostile with Izu ( he doesn't hide at all) and tried to kill him several times. Please, HE HAS TRIED TO KILL THE MC MORE THAN SHIGARAKI (Like shigaraki is the villain and all that, but aside the war arc...he never tried to kill Izu or call him "useless" hey....guess who does it?) OR ANY VILLAIN! Why AM can't at very least make him stay away from Izu?
Answer: Hori and his love for the most useless and hateful character I ever come across.
The same question goes to all teachers. No one in UA tries to do anything- Aizawa gives no fucks to Izu and others and the others teachers, while I do think they don't care that much...don't have screentime- I remember seeing a post saying how maybe no one steps in bc "kids with powers can be rough"
Ok fair. But this is not the boys being boys. This is BK being 100% hostile and murderous with his victim.
And even if it was boys being boys...they won't step in? If Izu and Sero fight....UA will shrugs?
I do write fics where either UA is a terrible school milking on AM's good name or is trying to do god but there are forces blocking them.
And all the while I think AM being a teacher in UA- he has no qualifications but lets be real...Aizawa shouldn't be one and "Dadzawa!" Is popular- maybe wasn't necessary. Like, if it is to be part of Izu'a life....why not be a Consulting or smth else? Hell, AM have (?) An agency...why not take advantage of that?
"AM is a bad mentor"
I understand why people have this idea. Hori refuses to let AM be a good mentor. He is so crazy in "humble Izu" that goes against his story. The number 1 hero of all Japan wants to help Izu....but Izu needs to be humble....and Hori's defination of humble is to make his mc still think he is worthless.
Which leads to the last take I saw "Izu is a nepo baby" and like....

My guys....Bk never work hard in his life, Hori gave everything for his fav. Izu? He was abused, his father is MIA (I get the fathers in Japan have the costume to work overseas but Hisashi is never once mentioned and please, note how among all the fathers, even the bad ones, they are there) his house indicates he is from poor background....he had no friends...and his abuser was after him for 10 years.
Inko has no friends "ah but Mitsuki and Inko are bffs" is 100% fanon...and I think is a creation of a BdDk fan.
Izu had to work harder than everyone else...even more bc he got a quirk which breaks his bones. Everyone in UA knows how to use their quirks. They were born with it...Izu? He got recently and Hori still goes on "humble his mc"
So...please if anything BK is a nepotism Baby. He is priviliged. He shouts he wants a perfect victory but his victories are given.
Hori refuses to make any plotline that may make people see his bk in a bad light....which is impossible at this point...he is the most hateful and useless character out there.

Before all of this I just want to say that I don't personally agree with the stuff that skittlechild did. Even if skittle is 14, I don't appreciate the idea of him sending another minor NSFW images. However, that does not mean that I think he deserves any of what I am about to describe to you.
So I'd like to show just how fucking awful the people behind the skittlechild callout post are. On discord they go by: weirdestal, shitpants, and bendersbigscore (who is also on ao3). On Tumblr, weirdestal goes by @orelpupp, benders has deactivated their account, and I don't know what shitpants' acc goes by. weirdestal and benders are both around skittle's age, and shitpants probably is too.

In case you don't realize like my dumb ass didn't, this is Kim Latchkey in her high school years, which would make her a minor. Nevermind whether this is actually a bad thing to make, attempting to drive someone to suicide over the same kind of art you make is fucking atrocious in its hypocrisy.

This is the name of the group chat that the gore was sent in. Threatening skittle like this was a bit of a repeated occurrence, as can be seen below. The coordinates they send him weren't his house and instead of somewhere called "butthole road" though, so I doubt they'll actually doxx him. It's probably just an intimidation tactic.

Also note the transphobic language used above. Skittle is trans, and this is clearly why such things were said. When I confronted weirdestal about this, they called me an "emo fag." While I am not trans per se, I am bisexual so I can be attracted to other men. Still doesn't make it any better either way.

They don't take anything seriously. They don't care about the safety of anyone. They don't care about the morality of what he makes. The only thing they want is for him to either suffer or die for no apparent reason.
Overall, I take back what I said about cutting ties with him because the callout post was made purely with the intent to drive a 14 year old child to ending their life and nothing else. What skittle did was not something I encourage of anyone, regardless of age, but at least he wasn't trying to make people end their lives because he could. A 14 year old boy deserves far better treatment than this, regardless of whatever excuses are given.
Go to their tumblr and discords. Mass report them and maybe even tell them to piss off if you feel like it. People who do what these people do shouldn't be on the internet, regardless of their age. No behavior justifies this, and they need to face consequences for this. Please repost this to spread awareness.

Every year for the last 2 years, the day before your birthday, you always received a special gift just for you, with sone flowers that always came with a sweet, loving note for you. You never knew who sent it, but you always received it anyways.
Somebody else could think that's creepy, but, somehow, you liked the special attention that person gave to you.
Today was the day before your birthday. Like every year, you received your flowers and gifts as always, but the note wasn't like the other ones that always came inside the flower bouquet. The note made you think about it throughout the whole day.
"Do you remember me?"
That was the only thing the note said. It wasn't the typical loving poems that came along with the flowers. This note made you have goosebumps and simply be confused.
At the present moment, you were laying on your bed starring at the roof of your bedroom as you were trying to fall asleep, but your mind was constantly wandering around the note that your secret admirer had sent you today.
As time passed by, you were growing tired and your eyelids felt heavy. You decided to stop thinking about it as hard as it was, and you turned around, fully covering your body with the warmth of the sheets. Then, you closed your eyes.
As you were drifting off to sleep, an unexpected knock made you open your eyes and jump out of bed. "That's weird. Who could it be?" You thought to yourself, since you knew your neighbours should be sleeping by now...maybe something happened?
You got out of your bed and silently walked to your kitchen. Under the furniture of your kitchen, the furniture where all the cleaning products were saved, somehow you had a metal bar and you grabbed it since it came handy and you didn't know who could be knocking.
A second knock was heard as you walked towards the door. You made sure to walk as silently as possible. Once you reached the doorknob, you quickly opened the door and holded the metal bar with a good and strong pressure in case you needed to defend yourself. You were living in Gotham! You couldn't be unprotected.
The pressure you held in the metal bar slowly faded away, as you saw a young man who seems to be a few years older than you was standing in your door, with a small, wrapped up gift. He was dressed as a...Scarecrow? You tilted your head to your side in confusion.
"I'm not here to hurt you, I promise." He said, noting your confusion. Not only his voice, but his eyes and his everything as well seemed so extremely familiar to you, yet you weren't sure of why you somehow knew him. "I actually came to personally bring this to you." He said as he strechted the gift a little bit so you could see that was the only thing he was carrying.
You looked at the gift he had in hands for a few seconds, and without saying a word, you opened your door more so he could enter your home. As he carefully entered your home, you closed the door behind him. He was being very gentle with his moves because he didn't want to scare you off.
"So...you're the one who's been sending me the gifts a day before my birthday all these years?" You asked as you sat in the couch that was in your living. He copied your actions and sat in a chair that was in front of you.
"I am." He continued, "I'm sure you don't remember who I am, so I came to bring you this personally to refreshen your memories." He strechted once again the gift, and this time you softly took it away from his hands and began unwrapping it.
As soon as you finished unwrapping it, you grabbed whatever was inside the box and when you looked at it, it turned out to be a photo album. As you opened it, the whole album contained pictures your parents took of you and Jonathan, your childhood best friend and crush as well.
At this point, all the memories that you had with Jonathan in your childhood came back, and all the emotions you were feeling made you tear up and sniff a little bit. The gloved hand of your secret admirer carefully grabbed a piece of hair that was covering your face and tucked it behind your ear, then he places his hand in your cheek and began stroking it with his thumb, wiping away a tear in the process.
You placed the photo album in your lap, and when you looked up at him, the mask covering his face was already taken off by himself. Your secret admirer was in fact, your childhood friend and crush, Jonathan Crane. He looked...slightly different. His hair was longer and even more messy than it already was before, and his eyes were covered with dark makeup. "J-Jonathan"? Your voice was already breaking at this point. "That's right," he said "I'm not the same frightened boy I used to be. I embraced my fears, except one...being rejected by you."
Your first instinct was to throw yourself to him and wrap your arms around his neck. He was shocked at first, but he eventually hugged you back. With one hand he rubbed your back, and with the other he played and interwined his fingers in your hair. "I could never reject you, and you were never a frightened boy to me! You were the most brave person I ever met!" You said as you hugged him tightly. "I-I've missed you, a lot...lately I've been thinking quite a lot about you. I realised my life was empty without you in it."
You both broke the hug, and you sat in his lap. "I love you, (Y/N). I missed you a lot, too..." Now, you placed a hand on his cheek and pressed your forehead against his, and he gave you a loving kiss in the lips, it was something you always wanted to happen. You could feel like your heart was going to beat itself out of your chest.
The kiss lasted what felt an eternity, and eventually you both broke apart since you two needed some air. You gave him a quick peck on his cheek and placed your head against his neck.
"It's late for you to go out. I think, you should stay with me, don't you think?" You asked him, raising an eyebrow. He smiled at your comment and a sudden blush formed in his cheeks. "I think I should."
With that being said, you turned all the lights off and went to sleep together. It was a moment that you've been expecting for a long time, and you were very happy with that. ♥️
