the thing about the mitch talk that makes no sense is like. yes, an organization CAN get someone to waive their nmc by saying they're not going to pay what he wants and it would be better for everyone involved to get on board with the idea of a trade if that's the path the organization has Most Certainly decided on, but mitch marner has all the leverage with the leafs in this situation, and it still hardly makes sense to force that or be sure of it at this moment. IF they approached him about not wanting to sign him for what they know he's going to ask which is prob 11.5-12.5 i'd guess (which... why THIS year would suddenly be the year they changed their mind about having a forward group make so much after signing absolutely ridic contracts last year is already lol and before a huge one comes off the books w jt... like.. flkdjs it feels like a fan fueled narrative of frustration here), that would essentially force him into giving them a list of teams he'd be willing to go to. it will be a short list of competitive teams who also are not going to want to be giving up much. the LEAFS would then have to find a trade that works within those very specific teams and is worth it to them, and they might say fuck it, mitch will be the better option to try to get us to the post season this year. and then be a) forced to let him walk for nothing in return if they still don't want to sign him at the end of the year or b) tempted to give him an extension where he MIGHT have driven up his own price based on performance that year. like it just. this narrative that mitch marner in the last year of his contract with a full nmc will be somehow forced out of the leafs and that's the LIKELY outcome is so ????????? tell me one trade where this team improves w the guys out here on expiring deals as it stands rn and why the organization would see improvement bc i can tell you they aren't just going to trade for the sake of cap space. i know the trade deadline and everything will also come into play if he hasn't been re-signed by then, but there's a very real chance mitch marner drives up his own price the way nylander did and then what. people are going to be even more furious like ??? just the surety with which people act like it is happening and Has to Happen despite not knowing whats available on the market or having a genuine proposal is actually terrible for the leafs, lol.

oh one thing i wanted to ask you, if the superior thing happened in ps4 world, how would you go about it? OOOOOO that's a pretty interesting idea :0 I've actually never thought abt that since I loove the 1048 canon story and usually need ps4 peter to do my silly found family ideas with my own superior (who travels to 1048 to visit with those dimension hoppers in the spiderverse comic)

My take on a superior arc within earth 1048 is that it probably wouldn't take as long for otto to stop being evil !! I always saw ps4 otto as being malicious only cuz of the errors in the neural interface + his desperation :3 if it was removed I think he could eventually come back to his senses and somewhat return to being a sweetheart like he originally was ^_^ so if he swapped bodies with peter then since he no longer has the neural interface affecting his mind and he isn't desperate to escape his failing body anymore he would calm down pretty quickly from his evilguy mode and be like oh god what have I done 💥

Plus doc wasn't like actively dying in ps4! So if he did swap bodies with peter it would not be a very good plan since there's no guarantee peter won't be able to fight back </3 so unless we change that aspect of the story he probably wouldn't have attempted to do that in the first place </33

i know a lot of you guys have been wondering wtf is up with my upload schedule lately and the extreme lack of even basic content and also i am extremely aware that i have not updated my fics in a few millennia and for that i am very, very sorry. this post is to answer a few questions you might have, if anyone was curious about the 'reason' instead of just the 'when.'

my family and i have had a hell of a year, y'all. like, jesus christ, i really hope things level out and calm down for a while once we're moved in to our new apartment bc god damn we are so tired. the list goes: 1. we got kicked out of the house we were renting-to-own bc we wouldn't be able to afford the new rate, so they gave us two months to find a new place to live (not long enough, it turns out) and then foreclosed to get us out. 75% of our belongings were still in the house when we had to leave. that includes all of our christmas ornaments- including the ones kept for decades, and the ones made by me and my siblings, and the fancy ones made from blown glass. 2. the first night out of the house, one of our dogs, freaked out by the strangeness of the situation, panicked and slipped her harness and ran off. that was over a year ago. we haven't seen her since. 3. my cat got very ill and became unable to eat. she passed away almost exactly a year ago. she had been 14-15, and had been my baby since i was maybe 8. 4. one of the tires on my dads car blew out. during the night, while it was parked on the curb so he could put the spare on in the morning, one of the in-tact tires was fucking stolen LMAO 5. we applied to rent at so many places and got rejected so, so many times. it costs money to apply, btw. we're talking like $200+. no, u don't get that money back. 6. i lost my job bc knowing i would have to work 8 hours at a job that stresses me out to the point of exhaustion (at a place where no one takes me seriously and would actively laugh at me when i try to express my need to step away for a minute) sometimes paralyzed me and made me sick to my stomach and made me feel unable to leave the house, and i called out one too many times. a day after my birthday, too! 7. just recently, like within the last week, my dad's car got fuckin totalled!!!!!

THE GOOD NEWS IS WE OFFICIALLY, FINALLY, AFTER A SOLID YEAR, HAVE AN APARTMENT!!!!! I'LL HAVE MY OWN ROOM AGAIN!!! THERE'S AN ENTIRE KITCHEN!!!!!!!

the 'oh god' news is we still have to move in, and replace a lot of the stuff that we just couldn't take with us when we moved out (mostly stuff like bookshelves, dining table, dressers, etc) AND get the few things we could cram into a storage center out and moved into the new place, which isn't a lot but at the same time is more than we can realistically handle on our own. and then, we have to get my mums cats (a pair of kitty sisters that we had to temporarily house with my aunt, who got tired of looking after them and let them outside to be outdoor cats a few months ago. yes, this was an extremely shitty thing to do, and we've been working hard to get them back safely) AND my gecko (who my cousin has been looking after, even tho feeding him worms freaks him out LMAO yes i plan on compensating him) moved in, as well... basically oh my god there is so much to worry about but at the same time it's nice to have to worry about it bc it means we're making progress sdkfhsjdkfhdsjfh

basically i am just so tired but so busy and also thinkin abt so much im so sorry for lack of stuff but i am so looking forward to being able to bounce back, pls stick with me, it'll be sorted out soon i think and then i'll hit y'all with some good stuff i promise!!!!!!!

i am SO excited to dive more into football player eddy, i know it's such a massive cliche but it's definitely not something he's super excited about ... in my head, his dad def pushed him to learn car stuff (totally agree with you on that one!) and do a bunch of other stuff he didn't want to do, football included. i think eddy is the type of guy who takes a lot of pride in his work and his accomplishments, so i feel like his car is something that is REALLY dear to him and he actually does enjoy working on it. football for him (and this will def be more detailed later) isn't something that feels rewarding to him exactly, it's more of a responsibility from the pressure being put on him, which i think is ultimately making him dislike it. it feels more like a matienece (i can't spell that word it's killing me) thing to him now rather than something he can actually steadily work on AND continue to achieve and take pride in. i'm definitely projecting a bunch of my own brain stew on these guys but i like to think that eddy would really enjoy doing something more creative, imo i think he would love doing jazz dance classes or electric guitar or something like that.

Any head canons about Zombie Mob and after he's cured?

hrrmmmmm still kinda changin little things around for how zombies work in general bc im indecisive but im gonna use this ask as an excuse to talk abt How He Works

the other day i was thinkin abt his protectiveness over ritsu, and how it only reaches so far before it makes a full stop. it Would seem like he'd be alarmed at ritsu being hurt in any capacity, but that's not always the case. rly, it depends entirely on how ritsu reacts to the injury

remember, zombies don't have a good grasp on past events beyond their turning—a lot of them can remember faces and names and basic concepts but most things are lost in the froth. since zombies don't feel pain and therefore do not feel the consequences of an injury, their association with things like blood and seeing open wounds is not negative—why would it be, when they've experienced nothing negative from them? it is simply a Neutral Thing in their eyes

however, zombies are still human, and when healthy humans are hurt, they usually scream or cry or Something. hearing another human yell in pain is often a little harrowing, and on pure instinct zombies will sometimes flock to this noise in a very innocent mindset of wanting to aid. the thought process of hungry zombies hearing that is a little different, and they will prolly try to eat whatever is vulnerable and hurting. zombies that aren't hungry atm tho will simply wanna check it out

hearing ritsu scream will trigger that protective instinct in mob. seeing his brother's arm torn to shreds tho? Only if he's actively acting distressed. if ritsu got a gash in his leg but he's toughing it out even as it seeps blood, mob will simply just.stare. right at the open wound. and be Unbothered. he doesn't quite understand anymore that a hole in ur flesh is painful—he does understand pained sounds, tho

if ritsu is actively upset for other reasons aka the 17 mental illnesses he's developed mob will start getting antsy. u ever heard of animals actin weird before a big storm rolls in? kinda like that. he's distressed that his brother is distressed and he doesn't rly know how to make it better, so he just starts shuffling his feet and acting like he doesn't know where to go next. he also tends to plop his head down on ritsu's shoulder like i've mentioned (i think) and it's a 50/50 chance on whether that makes it any better

on the subject of his constant exhaustion, when ritsu finally does get mob to fall sleep he is Out and Unmoving and his body is so desperate for energy that he doesn't wake up for the next 21 fucking hours or more. ritsu actually regularly gets worried abt how long he sleeps. he's simply resigned himself to being 40% more stressed during his naps

zombie mob also loves water ! another remnant of Before—they had a stream in their backyard before everything went to shit and they had to leave, and mob Loved that thing. he'd sit in the backyard and listen to the sound of the water trickling for hours. nowadays, if they find any sort of stream or source of flowing water, it's very hard to get mob to leave. he loves listening to it and if it's coming from above and splashing to the ground he'll stand in the stream and be the most content zombie that ever lived. unfortunately he's also wet now. sorry ritsu

hrrmmmmm vaguely related to the first thing... mob is a bit like a cat that keeps knocking shit over when it comes to sneaking around settlement patrols. ritsu does his absolute best to steer clear of patrols by a long shot in general, but sometimes it's necessary to squeeze past one. normal mob is quiet and his steps are soft and while he's not the most graceful he's not a walking hazard—zombie mob is tho <3

he doesn't rly Understand that the goal is to not be seen and these people have guns and those guns can hashtag kill you to death, and ritsu can only do so much to "tell" mob to be quiet. he doesn't understand any of the hand signals he gives him, any of the Shush gestures, and mob is absolutely fascinated by this vase—oh it broke. oh neat, footsteps and yelling that's fun

most of the time they get by unscathed.but sometimes mob will do the worst possible thing at the worst possible moment and those r the times ritsu gets truly and genuinely frustrated w him. poor guy can't help it he's a zombie.ritsu knows this .he pushes on

in regards to patrols, actually, it's interesting to think about how zombies Learn. they,, seemingly don't. a lot of the times, the consequences of something bad they do is either pain, or death, and since they don't feel pain ... well u can't exactly learn from that. a lot of the times, zombies will keep doing one thing over and over again, even if it's actively killing them, until they die from it

zombies are attracted to noises and smells, so it stands to reason that mob might be inclined to walk right up to a patrol car. there's people here ! let's check it out. and zombies do this all the time. all a patrol car has to do, rly, is keep its engine running, and zombies within earshot of it will flock and then get killed

mob, interestingly, is in a position to Learn as a zombie. not many zombies keep their lives after running into a patrol car, but mob has protection, and people looking after him. mob has walked away from patrol cars w his life many times. and i think he starts to understand that they're dangerous once ritsu gets hurt

it takes a couple rounds of it to get it through his head, but the next patrol car he sees and considers venturing to, he thinks about what happened last time this occurred—the screaming from ritsu, mainly—and he stops. if mob were suddenly alone, and ritsu was gone, he'd surely walk right up to that patrol car and get shot in the head for it. it's not like he'll feel it. but ritsu is with him, and he doesn't want his little brother to scream like that again, so he decides not to, and lets himself get led away from the car

tome notes this change in behavior w Great interest and ritsu is honestly just glad he'll now experience approximately 3 less heart attacks per month

and Poor was just so shocked at this incredibly, very obviously high-quality Bottle of Wine in front of them, they just blurted out "uh, sure"

and boom, they're dating.

Poor was probably just waiting for the right glass to come into their life, but after they started dating Rich and thought more about how they feel about Bottles they had an "oh." moment and realized they're probably the bisexual equivalent of Bottles & Glasses.

and Rich after dating a couple of some of the finest Glasses realized why they were so unhappy with these Glasses after they let their mind drift to dating a Bottle. "Oh." They were Bottlesexual. Honestly it didn't have to be Poor, they just picked a random Bottle nearby that was single and wasn't eyeing any of the Glasses passing by. Little did they know they'd fall over heels for this Bottle.

compliance wasn't close to Ajax's top priority. he was never one to shy away from a good fight and blood flowed to both his heads when he got one from you; he enjoyed your defiance. so why this was the route he took was unknown to even himself.

being tied down and naked wasn't new to you. it was rather common considering the relationship between yourself and the ginger in front of you. his knots were always well done and you couldn't get out no matter how hard you tried and this night was no exception. perhaps he was a bit inebriated and perhaps you shouldn't have pushed his buttons so hard. regardless, decisions had been made and there was nothing that could take back the words that had been spilled and the feelings that had arose. Ajax had always been a little bit off in every manner of life. he could only hide parts of it well and anyone that spent any amount of time with him could tell he wasn’t quite right. his mannerisms were odd to say the least. smiles that never reached his eyes, a lack of tenderness, minimal empathy… the list went on. oftentimes you felt as though he was something beyond human cursed to live in a body that wasn’t his own. a form manifested by punishment of divine will. he was the feeling of air too thick to breathe, grass sharp to the touch, and bones of prey left to rot in forests torn through by flames. Ajax was a tsunami formed by waves of violent nature; something to be feared, not loved. but you learned to care for him nonetheless. maybe it was his crushing presence that molded you into someone or something that couldn’t live without.

the room was cold but his hands were warm. caressing you all over he attempted to soothe your nerves but it did little to relax you. he whispered words of praise and coos that seemed more demanding that loving. you needed to relax and let him take the reins. it won’t hurt that much and you’ll feel far better afterwards than you ever had before. his hands wiped down your face with more care than you expected to come. the gauze soaked in liquid smelled like alcohol and had your eyes watering. with gloves and shaking hands he pulled your lips up into a smile saying that you’d always be happy from now on. Ajax pulled out a metal rod and lined it up with the inner corner of your eye; you felt more fear than you ever had before. you expected he was to blind you. to make your last moment of sight his face.

pushing the rod through and past your eyeball, you whimpered. the slow sliding wasn’t painful but you felt the pressure. every time you blinked he advised not to but with the intrusion you couldn’t help it. the pressure built up the further the rod went in and as he began swirling and poking it back and forth. drool dropped down your chin and he momentarily ceased his movements to lean down and lick it up before planting a wet kiss to your lips. soon enough, he retracted the long piece of metal and you were finally able to fully close your eyes. Ajax planted a soft kiss to each of your eyelids.

something wasn’t quite right and you knew that but you couldn’t place it. as the suffocating pounding in your head stopped, so did the terror and worries. the shift in your expression and body language must have been noticeable based on the pleased demeanour that decorated Ajax. he untied you with gentle hands and scooped you into his arms. with promises of washing you up and laying down for bed he carried you through the house. the bath you took was warm and the bed you laid in was comfortable. you curled into his body softly and pliantly much to his enjoyment. soft kisses were placed over and over again to the crown of your head and your nose before you finally fell asleep.

the next couple weeks were spent following his orders and clinging to his body at every chance. you gave Ajax pretty smiles and hung onto his every word. at first, his chest felt full at the change in behaviour. but slowly… he found himself missing who you were before. he had smothered your spark with his own hands for fear it would turn into a flame. you were no longer yourself and he mourned for the times he had before. rarely did he cry but on many nights you’d awake to his soft sobs. with worried eyes and soft hugs you’d ask what was wrong and how to help. he wouldn’t tell you for many moons but eventually he let out a soft mumble. ‘i miss how you were before.’ you didn’t understand. how you were before? i’m not any different, you responded with confusion clear as day and pain covered his face.

how much i'd enjoy watching a horror movie w them

context: i love horror movies. im still working my way through a lot of classics lol but literally i just love horror as a safe way to explore dark themes and spooky things. jumpscares will get me occasionally but its all good if they're earned lol i just think they're neat :)

further context: i'm just a little over 5'5" and chubby. vague teddy bear energy if u ignore the chronic resting bitch face.

s.coups: man who i feel would tell me 'if you get scared, you can hold onto my arm :)' and then would jump at every scare and be like an over-exasperated dad holding his heart. solid 6/10 tho if i do get to cuddle with him. i think we would probably make fun of each other for jumping. also i feel like cheol makes comments throughout movies which is fine w me bc same hat. if anything, i get the feeling he would probably hide behind me at some points and then question why i'm so excited when the killing starts happening lol

jeonghan: hmm honestly 7/10 i think jeonghan would have fun with it especially if it's a bad horror movie. man who i think would listen to me info dump abt behind the scenes stuff if i know it tbh. the -3 comes from the fact that i think jeonghan can also get spooked like cheol (im thinkin abt the mbti episodes where he punched a mannequin while startled) and idk if i'm gonna get jumped on if i watch a movie w jeonghan

joshua: 10/10 im like 90% sure joshua actually likes horror movies so i feel like he is a rly safe bet to watch them with. most likely to laugh during literally any movie if i get spooked. i think he'd be an especially calming presence tho esp if something gets super under my skin?? man who feels like he'd be open to just talking abt it and maybe watching something else if its too much. also idk feels like he would also crack jokes throughout.
