Was reading your Raichu post, which prompted this giant message.

There actually is some evidence that regular animals still exist in the Pokemon world, just not as prominently. There's actually promo material of Pikachu and Ash walking past a lady walking her dog, for example. This suggest that, originally, regular animals and Pokemon were supposed to coexist.

One possible explanation for why we don't see them is that they're less popular than owning Pokemon, and since wild animals generally avoid humans, trainers wouldn't encounter them, much.

Takashi Shudo, on the other hand, claims all real-world animals went extinct and were replaced by Pokemon (presumably by evolving into them...hopefully) but this seems to contradict all the stories of "Ancient" Pokemon, unless the series is thousands of years in the future, making us the Ancient Ones.

I actually dislike this explanation, because he also claims all the real-world animals that appeared were simply "animation mistakes" which makes zero sense in the case of the Ghastly turning into a mongoose, which was very obviously deliberately done, not a "mistake" like he claims.

There also was a Pokemon book called "Bulbasaur's Trouble" where Bulbasaur had to find a frog to settle a dispute between two children...the frog was a main part of the plot, and thus can't be written off as a "mistake."

Furthermore, the inclusion of Pokemon like Arceus, who supposedly created the world, would imply that Pokemon have been around since the beginning...unless he either wasn't originally a Pokemon, or recreated the world after it was destroyed.

Takashi Shudo's word should also be taken with a grain of salt since he didn't create the series, he was mainly the chief writer for the anime adaptation, so while he was very influential and created Lugia, his word isn't exactly final, it's just one opinion that many of the other writers for the series may disagree with for all we know. As a matter of fact, as far as I can find, he's the ONLY one who spoke on the matter, so we don't know the other writer's opinion on the matter. Raichu's entries continuing to reference Indian Elephants could be a sign that others working on the games disagree with his interpretation. We still don't have Satoshi Tajiri's word on the matter, either.

Furthermore, while it is more common in Gen 1, you can still see real-world aquatic animals in the Sun and Moon anime such as starfish and various shellfish, all the anime features coral, barnacles are sometimes seen, and in the Black and White manga they ask if someone was scared by a spider...a regular spider.

In the year since you sent this in, though, a fascinating thing happened: Raichu’s dex entry in Legends Arceus seemingly retconned the old Indian elephant into Copperajah. Or, alternatively, an Indian elephant is just as easily knocked out by Raichu as Copperajah is, and Copperajah is simply a more useful barometer for Professor Laventon to use :U I think my stance at this point is that it’s undeniable that, early in the franchise, real animals were 100% intended to exist in the pokemon world, even in modern times. This tracks with early promotional material you showed above, and also the supplementary Gen 1 Pokedex book translated by Dr. Lava just a couple years ago, which not only includes references to real-life animals, but also theorizes that stuff like Vulpix are related to real-life foxes. Secondly, I rewatched the first Spiderverse two days ago ((& watched the new one earlier today)), but something about rewatching the original triggered some dormant part of me that has decided that Noir would be SUCH A GOOD PARENTAL / MENTOR FIGURE!!!

So, If you're cool with it, could I get some headcanons or a oneshot ((whatever you're feeling I'm starving here please-)) with him and a reader who's an older teen (like 17-19) and became Spiderman/woman/person when they were in their mid-teens (15/16)? It would probably work best with the context of the reader being a part of the events of the first movie, but in my head, reader has lived their entire life without close friends or anyone they could really talk to about their problems ((especially after they got bit)), so they closed themself off from others. Noir seems like the type that would be able to push someone like them to interact with others more, while also being entirely willing and eager to act as a support system. Maybe the oneshot/headcanon would involve reader getting hurt and Noir patching them up and letting them know that they do have other spider-people available to support them? Preferably gender-neutral but I don't mind either way! :]

🧡that the minbari soul stuff is real and should be taken at face value, which imo completely ignores several in-show details we get that indicate that the trilumanaries weren't detecting souls, but human dna. we even get this pretty much explained to us in atonement when it's explained that the triluminary glows for delenn because she's a child of valen and therefore descended from the jeffster himself. that's also why the triluminary glowed for other humans that were interrogated! not because it was picking up fragments of of valen's soul in them all, but because it was just picking up human dna! and ok, granted, i have no fucking clue how that works either re the triluminary somehow being an advanced scanner or the dna stuff lol, but b5 has plenty of examples of stuff where tech is simply so advanced it gets mistaken for or used as magic (the fucking technomages damn it). anyway i just. do not understand why people take the soul stuff at face value when the show itself LITERALLY DISPROVES IT. gOD

💚 i talked about neroon in my previous response so i will turn now to branmer. again this is a taking things at face value thing, but i really don't get it when people just assume delenn is totally correct that he didn't really want to be a warrior and was forced etc, especially since in that same convo she says stuff that contradict that! saying stuff like 'he believed in the rightness of the war' doesn't sound like a guy who felt bad about joining the fray, it sounds like he was very into it in fact! and then the fact that she gives that very uh, interestingly worded response when sinclair asks her how branmer felt about the surrender... anyway I just think that if branmer became a warrior it was because he wanted to and because he got some fulfillment in the role and i think a lot of what delenn says in that scene is her trying to assauge her guilt because she feels he wouldn't have become involved in the war if not for choices she made. i also like, really don't see what right she had to claim him for the religious caste when he had chosen the warrior caste. that sounds a lot like her attempting to invalidate a legit choice her friend made just because she didn't agree with it and is actually very uncool!

🖤same answer as before: delenn. i just think she is a much more morally complex and interesting character than she gets portrayed as by fandom and i think her characterisation from mid s4 onwards did her an immense diservice. i much prefer her more conflicted characterisation in earlier seasons, tho i will give s4 credit for rbl, an episode which straight up says 'delenn is actually very blinkered and prejudiced and lets this effect her perspective and her decisions in a not great way' but then concludes with lennier going 'and actually that's a good thing!' NO IT ISN'T LENNIER, and you need to have a proper talk with her about it!

💖i mean honestly i think it's probably that i have issues with the latter season's portrayal of delenn and sheridan as always righteous and correct and a total power couple girlbossing their way to glorious success. i think there are a lot of things that are quite effed up about the establishment of the interstellar alliance and how much power ends up consolidated in their hands with zero oversight. what's interesting is that i feel like s5 sort of attempted to criticise it with sheridan making many terrible decisions as president? but im not actually sure if that was deliberate and not just... bad writing on jms's part and him not realising he was making them do incredibly stupid things

grace i am so sorry for taking forever to reply. i just got caught up in life and whenever i tried to get to it i was so emotionally tired and wasn't in the mood in interaction but i'm answering it now again my apologies

exactly i understand that completely. it's like you can do it but you have to actually get yourself to do it since you don't want to but when you're done you feel much better like it's something not weighing you down. honestly mood i get the feeling of not wanting to do that one thing but i hope you finally did that and not procrastinated it too much.

it is and right now she's just finding another job and she plans to not go back because of the treatment they gave her so i think it's a good idea but i also understand where my mom is coming from with her giving a lot of money to a college where my sister kept changing something with what she wants to do so i get both sides. and it is a lot of money and to some people it is worth it in the end but for some people it could be a huge waste so i think it requires that leap of confidence to do it. that's actually very smart sitting in between people can be so awkward so getting there a few minutes earlier is a great idea and yep that is the only way to describe school!

pretty chill birthday are quite nice i'm glad it was a chill birthday. i'm glad it was perfect i was kinda going crazy after sending that since it didn't want to sound insensitive and neither do i i just say what someone would want to hear other than the regular i'm sorry etc. i get that after losing someone your family could be put on a pause for a while and i'm sure things will start back up again at some point it might be different than what it was before but it'll get to some place normal some day i'm sure. when i lost my cat it felt like my life was just rolling along without me and it felt like i was on pause just going through the motions for a while but eventually i got myself back in order again while still remembering and grieving the lose and i know it's not a human lose but it was still a lose to me either way i was just sharing my experience with a lose and how my life got back into my new normal after a lose like that.

oh i'm alright lots of new things in my life. getting a good idea on school again,getting a dent into my stories,finding a new hobby (or maybe it's not a hobby but a new interest),going a fandom that i've never been into just for a show,and more boring stuff

Hey, no worries at all! I totally understand, life happens and sometimes you just can't. I'm glad I could be of help, lol. Making the characters and their vibes is literally the best thing ever. Then comes the writing part... which can be nice sometimes, but only when it's nice, if that makes sense. No, I honestly think they are out to get me. My mom thinks I should dress up as a skunk for halloween... it was funny at first, but I don't think so. Yay for no possums and pigeons!! I agree, very good gentlemen moment. I wish everyone would act more polite and just kind in general, but then again doesn't everybody.

I agree with you on the whole, life continues moving forward. I think it kind of goes for anyone who looses anything, animals, friends, family. things just have to get better before they get better lol. oh yay! it's good to feel good about your life. I hope your new hobby treats you well! Nothing new on the college front, just the same old same old. I feel very down lately and exhausted. Which I know is normal, but it is exhausting to be exhausted and have teachers hounding on me about school work and scheduling appointments of all kinds. Hey, idk if it's something you talked about before, but what is your opinion on the unused Goro Akechi Mementos request? It is very interesting to me, especially in a way that it parallels Akechi's own story 🤔 "Not everyone has the luxury of becoming heroes of their own story" felt... personal I would say?

The whole request was about how a victim is not always an innocent person ("It was astounding to see you all so ready to accept the victim as some blameless paragon of virtue") which does fit Akechi's narrative. In some way it brings up a concept of "ideal victim" and how in many ways victims won't fit its narrow criteria.

Also I wonder if you think Akechi knew all details of that specific case before passing it on to Akiren & other Phantom Thieves like Makoto accused him of?

i agree with makoto lol i def think he knew all the details ahead of time and planned the whole thing to be extra passive agressive, idk if it's bc it's more of a fan translation (or at least i think the version i saw was??) that makes things feel Fake or if it all feels very orchastrated on purpose to make you figure it out, but it works either way heh, it's very in character for him tbh

i think it's a really interesting side quest! i wish there was a chance to play through it in the game, tho i understand why it was cut out (too many steps to actually have the time to do during just third sem. maybe earlier in the game, but then it wouldn't work with goro giving it so that's a bit of a problem). maybe it'll be remade into a canonical manga or smth?? that could be cool tbh

the goro parallels are so sexy the whole topic of ideal victim really hits hard not just with goro tbh, i think it's a bit true about everyone on the team, in a way, because they also serve as parallels to goro. they all know that if they didn't have each other they could've very easily ended up like him, they could've become these "unideal" victims too (heck, even in-game, i think they all have a moment of guilt for not acting out earlier, but i especially remember it to be true about ryuji, ann, and yusuke, so especially those three would probably be hit the hardest with that whole story)

i like how it once again brings the morality of the thieves' actions into question, the way that the third semester already does, but this time it approached it from the different, more focused direction of the victim and who is "worth" saving

it makes not just the thieves think deeply and squirm in guilt, but the players too. the entire game you're told that evil people deserve this punishment/change for the sake of their victims, and this just scrambles it all up and makes you question if that's actually true and reminds you that things aren't as black or white as they may seem (which plays nicely into royal's generally more mature vibes and messages, i'd say)

tldr: it's good :) wish it was in the game but get why it wasn't. oh well

Pairing: Shu Yamino (NIJISANJI EN) & Elira Pendora (NIJISANJI EN)

The things Shu does that Elira can't help but be grateful for, even if he doesn't really think it was anything much.

Elira was just not feeling it today.

"I really haven't been feeling well lately and I am sorry for being kind of, I guess, out of it, haha..." Elira says to her viewers with a tired tone.

"I'll still join today's um, Valo collab, I just didn't really expect it to be a full lobby" She says, "I thought it was like, a hopcon whenever you want type of thing," as she laughs quite forcingly. 'Sigh...' she thought to herself.

"Welp, sorry for bringing the mood down, thank you for the messages and superchats, I'll read them all in another stream! SEE YOU!" Back to her normal demeanor as Elira ends the stream and joins the collab voice chat with the others.

"Hi...!" Elira starts, "Oh, hey Elira!" "Hi Elira!" and more greetings came her way the moment she joined.

"I thought it would be a casual and likeー later would... I don't know what I was thinkingー" She rambles as Fulgur and Luca reassures her.

"Since you're here, why not do your introduction?" Fulgur initiates, "Okay! I am Elira Pendora from Nijisanji EN's Lazulight and I am late!" She introduces herself with a laugh as Luca comments, "Hi late," in which she responds with, "Hi dad."

Shu comes back and greets everyone with a hello, in which Elira says it back, with everyone following after.

The stream continues smoothly with everyone having fun and joking around, until Shu noticed how a certain teammate was being quiet.

"I could buy you, Elira?" Shu starts with a soft voice, referring to buying her a gun.

"Oh, um, alright... Thank you..." Elira quietly replied with a soft tone, in which Shu continued, "Yeah! You're welcome..." trailing off with a quieter tone, seemingly not wanting to overwhelm her.

'Sigh...' Elira sighs to herself.

Elira was starting to feel quite overwhelmed with the loud sounds and people talking in both the game and call, but with his simple interactions, it made her feel, quite grounded, perhaps? She doesn't know what it is but she feels relieved and grateful for Shu, even if he would say he didn't do much.

Shu's stream ends with him saying goodbye to his viewers. As he closes his OBS, he couldn't stop thinking about what was going on with Elira. Although she seemed somehow normal the first half of the play, he noticed she somehow got quieter as it went on. Knowing her for a long time now and what her genmates said about her not feeling right at the beginning of the stream, Shu wanted to know how Elira was holding up.

It wasn't really anything deep, but he still wanted to ask, so like a good friend would, he messaged her in their private conversations.

Shu: hey elira?

It took a few minutes until she replied.

Elira: oh shu, what's up?

Shu: i dont mean to pry but are u feeling okay? i noticed u were a bit down earlier. its okay if u dont want to talk to me abt it tho

Shu: i was just kinda concerned

Elira: oh.. um its not much rlly LOL

After putting down her phone, she looked at her monitor and saw Shu already joined in one of the channels in the EN Discord server. She joined a few minutes later and saw him have his camera open, seemingly focused on setting everything up on his computer

"I am here..." Elira quietly said as she also oepned her camera, waiting for him as he was fixing his stuff. Shu noticed and smiled, "Hey! Give me a minute, you can get some snacks if you want."

Elira stood up from her seat and got some snacks and went back down to sit. Once she came back, Shu looked ready and already has his own snacks and drinks. "Welcome back! Come on, we'll start with this one."

They spent the entire 4 hours just watching her favorite movies, not aware of the texts on a separate channel teasing the both of them. After finishing all the movies Shu planned, Elira was feeling a lot better.

"Thanks for this and cheering me up, Shu. It's been a while since I watched them too so... Yeah!" She smiled as they both just hang around call. "No problem, you were feeling down too so this is the only way I could try to cheer you up..." He sheepishly replied.

Elira laughed at his comment and sighed.

"Nevertheless, I appreciate it a lot. As always, only you would know how, hm?"

NOTE: I had this story in my drafts for so long and I finally found the time to actually finish and post it. I don't know if it's good enough but I hope you still enjoyed it :) I might start posting stories a lot more since my school is about to finish and I've been missing them a lot lately.

the first time i tried baking it the other day it was so yummy! but then i tried again another day and it wasn’t as nice, it was a bit more dry. and it’s strange because the first time i just eyeballed it 😭 so maybe i need to try making it that way again 🤔

oh and i tried making caramel too the other day but.. it was an absolute disaster 😭 it stunk so bad as well because i burnt it. but i can always try again:)

oh no :c it's very uncomfortable to read when you need glasses, i wear too so i understand it can be especially annoying for your eyes so don't push yourself to do it. plus you can always get audiobooks which has been my choice lately so it doesn't tire my eyes so much. on the other hand, i'm so glad you got to spend time with your sister and enjoy her birthday 🤍 and i'm also so glad the rain didn't ruin your day in the park

And about cooking and baking and caramel 😭 omg experience with caramel reminded me of the first time i tried to make it and it turned out horrible, since then i haven't tried it again but i think part of everything in life and especially in cooking is from failure and learning. i think to get to the perfect recipe or the perfect taste you have to damage many meals and burn some foods lol, so don't give up <3 at first it took me a lot to learn to cook but now i'm getting better at every dish i make and i know with you the same will happen

to answer your question, no its doesnt happen every year. so basically in our country, we have 6 yrs of highschool ( we dont have middle school ). 4 years for junior highschool and 2 years for senior highschool. once you’ve finished junior high, that is when the moving up ceremony is held. it is similar to the assembly u had at the end of year 12 since all of my batchmates and their parents were present.

in senior highschool, we have to choose from 4 different academic strands that specializes/focuses in different things/subjects. u also have to choose a strand that is related to the course u want to take in college. the strands are;

* Humanities and Social Sciences Strand (HUMSS)

* Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Strand (STEM)

* Accountancy, Business and Management Strand (ABM)

* General Academic Strand (GAS)

so for example, if i want to take psychology as my course in college, i would have to choose the HUMSS strand.

ngl I'm still a bit confused, but it really is interesting how differently countries operate in regards to their educational systems.

In my country it's literally primary school, which are grades 1-7, then high school which is are grades 8-12. In grade 8 and 9 you basically do all the subjects, and then in grade 10 you narrow things down. Kind of like how you choose strands. I'm lowkey jealous of all the strands you have tho. It sounds really organized. The closest my school had to that was the letters assigned to our classes💀 So if you were in class A, you basically had to do physics and bio. If you were in class B, you had to do business and economics. And if you in C, D E or F you either chose to do an art subject or chose to do maths literacy instead of regular maths. That's just how my school worked tho. Now that I've typed it out, it kind of seems organized, but it was a mess, I promise😵

I did physics and bio in school , but now I'm in the humanities faculty in uni lol so my subject choices in highschool didn't really determine which university faculty I went into. I genuinely put myself through all that stress for a nothing because I'm not studying anything stem related💀

But now that your moving up ceremony is completed, you have to pick which strand you want to go in, right? Goodluck with whatever choice you make, I know it can be very difficult to choose, especially if you don't know what you want to do when you're older. he could hear the slight shakiness in it, indicating that you had either just cried or maybe had a nightmare. "sorry to call you so late... it's just that, i can't sleep,"

he hummed. "do you want to talk about it?" he asked as he lays comfortably on his back. you broke down into tears, thinking back at the night terror that was hunting you earlier in your sleep. "it's just that... i dreamt of you! and you ― you died in it!" you couldn't even finish the rest of your sentences. it was all so scary that you just didn't want to think of it.

"it's just a nightmare okay? it's not real. do you want to come over here tonight? shakky can make you something to calm down," you could hear the female hummed. "yeah, that would be nice. thank you, rayleigh," you smiled, feeling a little bit calmed.

Hello there! I recently noticed you're am amazing meta writer. I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but there are still a number of details that I would like to ask you regarding chapter 139 because they still confuse me as hell! So here I go with a list (😅):

1) What's clear is that while Armin was on the ship with Annie Eren visited them through the paths. Eren had Not destroyed 80% of humanity by then, right? Because in earlier pages he says "The rumbling will kill 80% of humanity" so there was still room for saving the remaining people while Armin was basically thanking Eren for the genocide lol

2) Why didn't Armin, Mikasa, etc tried to stop him at that point in the paths? I'm not looking for drama but they Should've put up something more than a simple "Let's leave it all to the result of Mikasa's choice", right?

3) Who did Eren visit in the paths? Mikasa asks Armin if he remembers when Eren came to meet them all (probably in the paths, but we know Ackermans are not affected by the founder's memory erasure ability so why is she acting like she'd forgot it all?

4) Does that mean Levi was affected by the memory erasure too? To me he never sounded like somebody who'd talked to Eren in the paths, but I could be wrong. Do you think he went along with Eren's plan like eveeybody else easily in the paths?

And last but not least I wanna ask about Hanji. She's the person who said she can't accept genocide under any circumstances so do you think Eren even talk to both her and Levi too but made them forget about everything. I asked about Levi again because I'm just so lost with everything we knew about the ackermans up until then and this right here is nerfing my logic 😅 Idk maybe it's because I don't want this to be true and think like Eren never talked to Hanji and Levi in the first place because it makes me kinda bitter if they did actually went along with Eren's plan.

The different panels where everybody's appreciating Eren's deeds for their sake suddenly switches to Levi who's remembering his fallen comrades and thanking them instead. That calms my nerves but then I'm like "how did Levi knew the curse is lifted forever" so he must've remembered sth aka Eren's speech. Ahhh sorry I'm so lost! The 1st part I'll explain better on the next question, but by Armin's talk and expressions at the beginning of chapter 139, The Rumbling was set in stone as destroying 80% of the Earth and there wouldn't be a turn back. Eren was stating it as a fact, not a possibility. This and also the fact the Alliance would be seen as the World's saviors. Their talk wasn't a negotiation opportunity, but only an explanation of what was happening with Eren + Eren making Armin's dream and their childhood promise come true...

Now, Armin's "Thank You" is really a controversial topic indeed. And yeah, I know the hurting + betraying + wtf feeling of reading that line. I'd been there too! However, Armin didn't intend to show gratitude for TR - but somehow for him to be close to the fragments of human Eren, as his best friend. 

They loved each other so much. They both were children of war. Orphans who grew up together, fought Titans and humans together, saw each other die (though they "resurrected" later), and they were ready to offer their lives for each other without batting an eye. They were really a BrOTP. So while Yams' storytelling was rushed and somewhat confusing/lacking to express what he meant properly in chapter 139 mostly, we can't deny the fact that Armin carried deeply in his heart the feeling of love and brotherhood they grew up with during those long 10 years! 

Armin sincerely wasn't meaning to express he liked, supported, condoned, approved of, or was grateful for his BrOTP turning into a mass murderer and destroying billions of lives. Armin in chapter 131 ends talking about a world he could see together with Eren, remember? This implied he hoped to save both, even if we readers knew Eren had no salvation as what Eren did was unforgivable. All that was left for them was that as long as Armin lived, he would have to deal with the consequences of his BFF's madness. 

So seeing Eren was well aware he himself was a monster without forgiveness, Armin was being Eren's friend-brother, trying to say sayonara - the final farewell - to Eren, while assuring him that his terrifying, crazy, incomprehensible act of horror wouldn't be the end of all things. Armin would see a way to make use of the snk tragedy for it doesn't become the end of their world (literally and metaphorically).

Ngl, tho, I was really hating Ere-Min when 139 came out 😆 I hated Eren's half-explained answers, and above all, I hated his emotional break down over Mikasa. And I hated it because shippers were all over the place screaming "Eren loves Mikasa 😍😍😍" as if the mf hasn't just killed 80% of the world, and wanted to actually go full Rumbling and let the planet be full of carrion fattened insects!! And, oh, with everyone else of the Alliance "showing their gratitude" and such deep sympathy for Eren - that just stabbed me right in the heart over and over. I can understand some of the intentions of proximity, relief, and closeness Yams might have wanted to present with these moments, but this does not excuse the lacking/confusing written depiction. 

But feelings are very tricky. As it is Yams storytelling.

Tbh, I decided to re-read snk from the very beginning last year thinking on the ending chapter, all I feel is pain, pity, an urgent need to beat the hell out of Eren, mixed with the exhilarating feelings whenever something thrilling happened with all characters. And these all amplify when I remember the animation. I particularly have etched on my heart Trost Gate's scene - the OST, the VAs, the message, the suffering, the battle, the struggle, the sacrifices, the "I was born into this world" catchphrase, the sunset - and, UGH, I CAN'T HATE EREN lol His life isn't determined by only his downfall. He grew to fly so high before chapter 90!

So I imagine that if I, a "mere bystander audience" feel like this, then a "real" Armin would feel much more. 10 years is no joke in a relationship, no matter the amount of pain and confusion you've had in a span of a couple months. And it's hard to treat the past as nothing, or that you're easily over it!

I'm no one to tell you what you what to do, though, but if you allow me to say something it is this: we've all suffered with snk, but for the sake of some plot coherence and peace of mind, why not try giving a chance to imagine the real dilemma of Ere-Min in that complicated ending? Might make more sense, and hurt a bit less...

2) Why didn't Armin, Mikasa, etc tried to stop him at that point in the paths? I'm not looking for drama but they Should've put up something more than a simple "Let's leave it all to the result of Mikasa's choice", right? 

Armin and Mikasa' particular talks in Paths with Eren weren't  set up by Eren in a time his friends could have stopped him.

With Armin, Eren was merely showing things and explaining the FACTS of past-present-future to him, in 139. And at some point before or after this, we had the view of chapter 131, which Eren purposely showed Armin the insanity of his primitive desires turning reality to also stir Armin to take action against him. 

A little rant: I would like to say Armin saw the Colossus destruction, but tbh, I now think that if he had really seen and remembered people dying like that, flirting with Annie right after would be the last thing he would do if Yams wanted us to take Armin seriously. One does not simply witness one of the most terrifying things of his life and doesn't feel badly impacted with it. And it's why I don't like that right after something as serious as this, Isym inserts a "cute blushing talk" with Annie. It's like Yams is really not letting his characters process what's happening, which makes sense as to show the "inconvenience" of romantic love in war times but it's just laughable for the character context. With Falbi it made sense - Falco was doomed to "die". But with our blonde couple, sorry aru-annies, it's really weird and out of place, imo. 

With Mikasa, Eren was playing pretend they're living in another reality. One in which they had both run away around 12 (?) months ago, after chapter's 123 events. And as soon as Mikasa realizes that, she cracks Eren's facade, conscious of what she ought to do in reality = kill him, because the time irl is the one in which she is flying on Falco while the World is going to hell. There wasn't an opportunity to argue with Eren to stop TR while they're already at the end of it. 

As a side note, it's valid to remember that both Aru-Mika still tried to stop Eren multiple times since 123. The only time Eren gave them the opportunity to speak irl was in chapter 133, when they tried to stop him again. And if doing the Rumbling was Eren's destiny, certainly Mikasa's destiny was to set Ymir free. 

With Eren, he was the only one calling the shots regarding ALL aspects of The Rumbling. He didn't ask for anyone's help, comprehension or cooperation at any moment. Neither in Paths, nor outside of it. 

Eren had seen in his future memory that Mikasa's choice would free Ymir, thus freeing the World from the Titans, so he alone decided to move forward toward that goal (while it mostly aligned with his will to destroy everything and make it all new). He also mentions that he didn't know what Mika would do, but it was apparently enough for him to follow through with his mass murderer acts. So yeah, neither Mika nor Armin supported Eren's craziness. The only one who ALMOST got to support him was Jean iirc - but just because he was really, truly shocked, afraid, mentally and emotionally compromised.

It was Eren who decided everything by himself alone, based on his memories of the future (and past).

3) Who did Eren visit in the paths? Mikasa asks Armin if he remembers when Eren came to meet them all (probably in the paths, but we know Ackermans are not affected by the founder's memory erasure ability so why is she acting like she'd forgotten it all? 

As far as I understood up until now, Eren visited all and only the OG 104th members = Armin, Mika, Jean, Connie, Reiner and Annie. It makes sense because the first 4 were really his adopted family; and despite Reiner and Annie's betrayals, they've all had a strong relationship with Eren during training times. (Reiner and Bertholdth' betrayal revelation shall never be forgotten as Eren cries because of them with YSBG:TT ost </3). 

But regarding the memory erasure, I'm not very sure myself. In chapter 138, I had understood as if Eren was at that precise moment showing Mika the Path AU because time flows really differently in both worlds. Imo, it made sense to me he also left her as the last one because of the impossibility of Mika being mind wiped along with the end of the series. 

However, since 139 came out, I have three more theories: 

The Founder's Power couldn't work well before with Ackermans because they were restricted by the 145th King's Will at the time the Ackermans rebelled against the Royal Family. So it might be that since Zeke broke the Vow, the FP had no more restrictions over everyone;

It can be a continuity mistake by Yams' part;

Inaccurate Translations = maybe Mika didn't mean to say she forgot the Path AU, since she is crying in their dream because in the actual moment the Rumbling is happening, and she knows Eren is about to die, imo. She discovered he was inside his Titan's mouth, and the kiss they shared was most probably because in parallel with that occurrence, her mind was in the beauty of gently holding and kissing him in the Path AU.

Another detail is that the time Ere-Mika spent on Paths seems quite long, more or less like Ere-Min and as “long” as the title of the chapter suggests. When Mika and Eren are talking about if it was okay for Mika to be there, Eren says their life there was going on since they had run away in chapter 123 (what in irl had been nearly a year ago). Mikasa's hair is also a little longer than irl. And it's visible how Eren's behavior changes when Mika shows she “is aware” of what is happening in reality. Then, Mikasa says she knows she said she had promised to not bring the topic again, which seems to suggest at some point their shared dream really lasted a few months in Paths... 

So in fact, it's hard to say how Mikasa dealt with the long dream before reality called her, and she "woke up" in there. She just wanted it to be real so badly that she didn't realize what it was, maybe? Or Eren wiped her memory too. Or still, idk - it can be one of these theories or none of them. Sorry about this one. Someone might have better explanations too haha As Eren said, only Ymir knows!

Until something different comes up, though, I believe more in that Ackermans' memory can't be erased. Not fully at least...

4) Does that mean Levi was affected by the memory erasure too? To me he never sounded like somebody who'd talked to Eren in the paths, but I could be wrong. Do you think he went along with Eren's plan like everybody else easily in the paths? 

Since we don’t know for sure what happened to Mikasa, I don’t really have a final thought about the Ackermans and the memory erasure issue to say confidently "this is it". But, yeah, I don’t think Levi and Eren talked in Paths too.

About the memo erasure - same as above...

But I'm on this with you: I don't think Eren talked to Levi. 

And it's actually interesting that Levi didn't get to talk to Eren. Levi said there was a whole lot he wanted to tell that lil shit in chapter 136. And his last meeting with Eren was horrible - in the blimp, after the Marley attack and then Sasha's death. It was just as horrible as Hanji's - who I think may have been mind wiped when they're talking in the jail in chapter 107, and Eren screams if she had another solution while his face is "titanizing".

Also, I don’t believe anyone was going along with Eren's plan in Paths. In fact, after Hanji reunited everyone and created the alliance, they were all doing their utmost desperate actions to stop Eren. Chapter 133 also shows it. Jean, Connie, Levi, Armin and Mikasa were all trying to convince him to stop and listen. The confessions of their sins in the same chapter also shows that they were aware enough of what was right and wrong despite chapter 139 having a terrible, confusing writing (imo). 

In chapter 139, the untold Path Talk Eren had with everyone doesn’t look like he had asked their help, approbation, or support - it was more like a goodbye, as an old friend and communicating the result of Rumbling. Annie says he told them all to live long lives; Connie - who is surrounded by Colossal Titans dying and would spent years without setting foot on Paradis - is told that his mother will be human again; Reiner and Jean, who had closer dynamics with Eren as a person (Reiner being the “same” as Eren, and Jean once have envied him because “he was cool”), understood Eren's bullhead. Thus, despite the craziness of seeing them all emotional and crying all over Eren (which still makes me unwell), none of them went along with Eren's plan. They were mostly traumatized emotional fools at that point...

And last but not least I wanna ask about Hanji. She's the person who said she can't accept genocide under any circumstances so do you think Eren even talk to both her and Levi too but made them forget about everything. I asked about Levi again because I'm just so lost with everything we knew about the ackermans up until then and this right here is nerfing my logic 😅 Idk maybe it's because I don't want this to be true and think like Eren never talked to Hanji and Levi in the first place because it makes me kinda bitter if they did actually went along with Eren's plan.

I don't think Eren talked to Hans either! 

And, srly, do not even worry about Hanji or Levi accepting and helping genocide as an answer to save the island or themselves!!! That is impossible. It is precisely why they fought so hard and gave all they had to stop Eren!! Hanji's narrative in snk was duty x ideals, and by no means she would bend to Eren's madness of genocide to survive as shown especially in 127. Neither would Levi, as shown especially in 136, when he remembers the devoted hearts of the SC!

Ugh, yeah, the Ackermans had a lot of nice and unique info regarding their bloodline! But the fandom + Isym Schrödinger interviews and manga info about this turns it all into a whole mess lol Don't even let me start with the Acker-bond thing. You might want to re-read Kenny, Levi, and Mika parts chapters 64, 69, 126, 130, and 138. 

Mikasa had half Asian blood, and both she and Levi were the byproduct of Titans science (generally speaking about Ackermans according to Zeke, in chapter 93). Zeke also debunks the "ingrained behavior" of Ackermans in 130 while talking with Eren. Mikasa and Levi are immune to Titan transformation by both the gas from the parasite itself, as well as Levi probably drinking the wine and not turning (as Hanji suggests in 126, and what Levi remembers from their talk while urging Pieck and Mika to get up on Falco in 138).

Thus, I feel more prone to believe again that their memories can't be erased. Ymir pried into Mikasa's mind, making Mika have the headaches whenever she was spying her mind, "seeing the world through her eyes". Who knows what else she was trying to do with Mikasa's mind but her Acker-genes were countering… (like, idk, maybe The Inception concept? lol )

The different panels where everybody's appreciating Eren's deeds for their sake suddenly switches to Levi who's remembering his fallen comrades and thanking them instead. That calms my nerves but then I'm like "how did Levi knew the curse is lifted forever" so he must've remembered sth aka Eren's speech. Ahhh sorry I'm so lost! I would love to read your take on this matter! Thank you in advance! 🌹

I swear I know it is hard to not read 139 like they are thanking Eren too lmao But, again, they aren't grateful for the genocide, TR; just a bit for the end of Titan curse, maybe?! lol  

Honestly, I think the anime/movie will make it sound more like they are losing a friend, and reprimanding him for go that far for them rather than being gratitude (because yes, though shitty to believe after Eren himself just  said he didn't know if his friends would make it alive, indeed cared for them except Hanji 🙃). But I hold Isym accountable for leaving us all with a never fading bad taste in our mouths because 139 is barely readable the way it is. Only Levi (+SC), Onyan and FalBi are savable. I wish Connie and Jean had died lol and I can't stand Eren bird with Mika...

Now!! About the curse lifting- your observation is really good about this little fact! I hadn't heard of this hypothesis yet!!

Well, considering Isym is being truthful to his early takes regarding the Ackermans, Levi might have understood that the Titans were gone since Jean, Connie, Gabi, and Falco (who he was riding the Flying Titan) all turned back into humans. All Colossus Titans also were gone. So being a bit LH brainrot, after years with Hanji and her experiments with Titans as well as Levi's own experience with them, I think Levi got it!! 

Also, the time and pacing of the chapter is faster than the gap between the events we see depicted. Falco and Levi had time to descend from the sky, and I assume (or hope lol) that Falco also helped Levi to sit up by the rock, and they could have chatted a bit about the Shifter Power being gone. But I think just seeing all the Colossus down, the parasite gone, and his kids back to being human were enough proof to Levi that the nightmare was over.

As a side note, it might be biased, but I also prefer to believe that Eren wouldn't have the nerve to face Levi after all he had done. Even trying to be as open-minded as possible, I just can't picture Eren facing Levi and having the nerve to tell him to live a long life. Especially if it was while Hanji was alive or just after her death...

I might truly hate snk and every characters all at once LOL
