I feel like Matvey and Kolya would be close and it would make Kita feel threatened (bc hes so used to having his twin be close to him)

I feel like it'd also be sad considering how Kolya changes over time under Makarov's care, becoming essentially a murder machine :(

When Matvey was younger, he was an emotional one in the family, never hid much of anything and wasn't good under too much pressure. He would've grown up alongside the twins, only having a month or three difference in age(Matvey being the youngest in the trio.)

Matvey never was trained with the twins, quite the opposite really, he was the sheltered child, more of a bystander and was made to live a "peaceful" civilian life away from the cause. He'd be there if his presence was mandatory but most of the time was kept at an arm's length in regards to the family business beyond words spoken to him, certain details lasting on him given his observant nature.

Kolya and Matvey at least on Matvey's end saw the other as an older brother, the person he should be and look up to, something he would also see in Kita but to a much lesser extent since sometimes Kita's antics grated on his nerves. Matvey would try to include Kita in whatever him and Kolya did even if most of the time the twin would refuse, Matvey not understanding how he seemed to threaten the tight-knit bond between Kolya and Kita.

After Matvey's self-proclaimed "failure" in his formative years, a "failure" that most now would call a blessing in disguise he would go to his cousins most of the time just to see if they'd implore him and teach him what they learned that day or ask them how things were going, all the while swinging his feet back and forth.

I do think Matvey and Kolya would stay close in their teens, even when Kolya started to become more and more entangled with Konni/the Ultranationalist Party, he would always be family, no matter what happens.

Matvey would still notice how his cousins have changed. How he doesn't recognize them anymore, something he's starting to find too common in his family. He would stop asking about what they've been doing or what his father was having them do, he was understanding the reality now. He just didn't want to acknowledge it and wonder how much blood they had on their hands.

Right before he runs away he'd seclude himself from them, slowly, a move that's pretty obvious, in hopes to prepare himself emotionally before he takes off. Similar to a cat hiding away before it passes. He doesn't tell either of them how he truly feels or how fucked up things have gotten not because he doesn't want to, but because he can't trust them anymore. And it makes him grieve. He does end up stealing a few of their keepsakes before he leaves, to look at whenever he's feeling particularly lonely.

Matvey doesn't think he can separate his cousins as enemies, or hurt either of them. As he still believes there is a chance at redemption. Despite being on opposite sides, he still cares for them deeply, something he would be called naive for. Any confrontation presently would likely be as angsty and soul-crushing like you'd expect it to be.

SOOO... I decided to draw the three as to what I think they would've looked like as young'uns(they should be 10-11 years old here.) Kita gets an emo haircut along with a sonic hoodie and Kolya gets a much more relaxed fit. They are so adorable honestly. (Context for the photo is that Matvey won his first junior gymnastics competition and the twins came to see him compete(Nikita will get in trouble if he doesn't hug for the photo.)

normally, you wouldn’t complain about your sweet boy’s body weight or the comforting pressure of his limbs draped over you, but currently, you’re facing a singularly unique experience that no one has ever seen happen before—you need to pee. badly. yuuji has been bulking lately, meaning for dinner you have to make about three servings of food, all for him, and then a fourth serving for yourself (of which he usually finishes off for you if you can’t manage to eat it all).

not to say you dislike watching your boyfriend’s gym experiences, or even that you discourage them, but you’re just annoyed now that he’s gained about 5-10 pounds of muscle mass that you can barely manage to push him off of you.

so, you’d tried to sneak out of bed to pee and he’d grabbed your hip, forcing you back into bed with the grip of a man desperate to keep you by his side. you’d find it endearing if you weren’t about to pee your pants.

“i love you,” you whisper, turning your head to press your nose into his cheek and trying to burn a hole in his head, “but i’m gonna murder you if you don’t wake up and let me leave.”

“s’love you.” he mutters. he tilts his head towards you and presses a kiss to your nose.

you narrow your eyes. “what’s megumi’s middle name?”

he’s not awake. the poor boy wouldn’t have lied so easily if he was awake, and you are left to flop against the mattress helplessly.

you hate waking him up because he always looks like someone kicked a puppy in front of him and then told the dog it sucked. it just wasn’t nice and he deserved all the nice things in the world. you also hate waking him up because he is somehow such a deep sleeper. you’d have to be screaming your lungs off at an intruder for him to wake up in perfect lucidity.

you’ll have to find another plan to sneaking away from him and going to the bathroom. you wouldn’t give up, but you’d bide your time. eventually he’d have to move away from you and then, that’d be your chance to slip away.

I need assistance coming up with ideas for a magic tattoo effects.

I’m making a rolling table for magic tattoos. I used the absorbing tattoo effect for one effect. Some of this effects I listed are made up. Some have simple names for easy remembering. All the number 5s are summon x spirit or x elemental. Those are just creatures made of the damage type. Some are just breath attacks. Some are spells that fit the damage type.I’ve sectioned off the areas by where the tattoos are, arms, legs, body. Body includes the head, neck, and butt areas. If it’s all then it matters not where the tattoo is. This may not adhere to strict guidelines set in the dmg and I’m sorry for that. Here’s what I got! Any ideas as to what should go in are welcome.

To be fully honest you've made most of the terrorcon so stupid I kinda associated that with you (sorry). Other than that, there are better, less explosive ways to show a character is broken, such as everything leading up to that moment. Like the double discourse is enough, there doesn't need to be violence out of nowhere. It was already very clear Nautica has severe psychic dmg.

Lex’s Player is running late, and if she can’t make it tonight, then Lex is just going to sleep through the battle and have a good ass nap. She didn’t text us back, so we’re going to assume she fell asleep and we’ll keep her character alive until session’s end.

Sir Carl Jaeger’s Player has asked to take over playing his character’s squire, Chessifur, in the event of Sir Carl’s death, and make him a vengeance paladin. Yes, absolutely.

Thiori’s Player: “See, this is why everyone should have their genetic code messed with by a morals-devoid mad scientist!”

Bagelby’s Player, to his fiancée off-mic: “Hey [fiancée], can you do [thing] for me? ….I’ll let you stab me in the back again~”

Ena’s Player: “Guys, I know it’s the Ides of March, but come on-“

The party level was confirmed, and Ena and Sir Carl’s Players scrambled to bring their sheets up to par.

Bagelby still has the smallest pool of HP, with 47 to Sir Carl’s 80.

It’s a dc16 Con save (at disadvantage) and a dc16 Wis save for the drugged players to wake up and shake off the sleeping poison. Most of the players failed it. Repeatedly.

Bagelby, Asahi and Sir Carl all failed to wake up on this first turn, but Ena at least got back to her feet.

Thiori booked it around Mutated!Harold to snatch up a guard’s abandoned halberd, but took 14 points of damage from Mutated!Harold’s claw attack.

Ena’s Player: “Ena’s gonna subscribe to ‘Go Big or Go Home’ Magazine, and cast Raulothim’s Psychic Lance.”

Mutated!Harold took 27 dmg and is incapacitated until Ena’s next turn.

The Taker of the Lost - in his tiny, chibi Korok form - is running around in the middle of this battle trying to catch up to his thrown walking stick. He cannot take his 30ft form because the ceiling is too low, and is stuck this small. He spends the rest of the fight chasing his stick as it gets kicked around the battle bc his rolls were terrible.

In finally breaking free from Ena’s stunning spell and disengaging from both her and Thiori, Mutated!Harold used Frightful Presence to Frighten Sir Carl and Thiori. Ena has had too many siblings to find it scary (she beat the roll).

Pedro crawled out of Bagelby’s pocket and tried to wake him up by crawling into his ear.

Thiori summoned Bagelby to wakefulness by shouting that it was “time to steal things”.

Lex woke up to Absolute Chaos and decided to attack Mutated!Harold, as he is a very big target.

Geraldine threw a handful of strange pellets over the crowd, and after one round, Vashael and co. began to stand up.

They are now under the control of the Cordypedes - a magical centipede-like creature that has 1hp and can mind-control weak willed or incapacitated creatures to follow the commands of their magical master (Geraldine).

Mind-controlled!Michael tried to open a Dimension Door beneath Ena’s feet, but she made the Dex save, and tricked Vashael - who tried to lunge at her with a wine bottle - into falling through it, instead. He’s fine Bashur caught him.

Ena then managed to immediately free Bashur from the Cordypedes’ influence by roofing it with her Eldritch Blast. He promptly collapsed into unconsciousness once more, but Naoka, Michael, and Vashael are still under control.

Haaruma tried to vault over Bashur’s unconscious form to grapple and restrain her wife, but nat 1’ed again, and got throat-punched instead.

“Under normal circumstances, Haaruma would love to get her ass kicked by her wife. But not in this context, you know?”

Geraldine regrouped with Mutated!Harold, and tried to escape off the balcony with him, but in disengaging, both Sir Carl and Thiori got an attack of opportunity.

Mutated!Harold fell over the edge of the balcony and crumpled on the patio below, wounded and dying. Thiori promised him a quick death because “what you’ve become isn’t your fault”, and put him out of his misery.

Geraldine seemingly disappeared in the fall, and Thiori didn’t bother to look for her. He just left his stolen halberd in Mutant!Harold’s chest and went back inside.

Sir Carl sent a thumbs up in the general direction he thought his squire might behiding in.

“You see no movement, but you get the distinct feeling that you are appreciated.”

With Velenna’s help, Sir Carl gathered up the four nobles and one servant who had lost their lives to Mutated!Harold, and covered them with a magically-enlarged cloak to shield their gruesome crush wounds from view.

Ah, great. Now I have to come up with political ramifications for all this. I did not think that through whatsoever.

After several minutes of non-combat, Ena realized that they were missing someone - Michael was nowhere in sight.
