Some character designs I created for my uni course last year as part of a “trope smashing” brief! I really enjoyed how these guys turned out - I see them as a private investigative pair in a fantasy victorian-esque setting, with perhaps some sci-fi elements. And yes, they’re husbands.

Omg yes about Apo Jeff and Tong!!! They looked like they had so much fun! And bought a bunch of food it seems to eat by the roadside, which is just a normal everyday stuff but to see them genuinely enjoy each others company is. Ugh. MY FEEELS

Right?! All these little snapshots we're getting from the world tour (and let me say, it makes me so happy they seem to be going out and just having fun without the pressure of it all being filmed) are so normal and chill and... unrehearsed?

like yes, the bts content and sponsored lives and stuff are lovely, but they're also being paid to be there and do that (not to say they're not enjoying themselves but yeah) whereas these snippets of their time just being tourists are so natural and sweet and I genuinely love that they seem to have found real friendship on this show :( excuse me while i cry about it

Remus Lupin x gn!reader who convinces him to dance

Remus doesn’t do this. Remus isn’t spontaneous, he isn’t outgoing, and he certainly doesn’t dance.

Except, it would appear, that tonight he does dance because you came running over to him, out of breath and slightly shiny from exerting yourself, begging him with that sweet smile of yours to get up and dance with you.

And Remus tried. He said “no, sorry” to which you said “come on, Rem. Please? For me?” to which Remus responded, “I don’t dance.” To which you bat your eyes at him and repeated “please? For me?” and how could he say no to that? 

He couldn’t.

So, he reluctantly allowed you to pull him up by his wrists, and he tried to control his heartbeat having your fingers so close to his pulse point, and he groaned dramatically as he felt his cheeks turn pink but he went anyway because you were laughing and smiling at him like that and it just seemed that this is where he ought to be.

“You’re supposed to move your hips, Remus.” You teased him, still holding him by the wrists and trying to swing his body on his behalf.

“I don’t dance, Y/N.” He repeated himself, which seemed like a sad excuse seeing as he accepted your offer and was officially standing on the dance floor.

“Not like that, you don’t!” You chided, smile still beaming, eyes still bright like you were having the best time of your life. “Like this.” You said more quietly and released your grip on his wrists.

He wasn’t able to mourn the loss of your touch for long as you placed your hands gently, tentatively on his hip bones and started encouraging them to move.

“Loosen up, Rem. You’re too stiff.”

Remus scoffed and then decided to go ‘no-bones’, falling limp into your embrace. He was happy to note that you didn’t let him fall, even when he was acting like a tosser.

“You oaf! Stand up.” You chuckled, pushing him off of you with a grunt. “Come on, loosen up, let me move you.”

“I can’t dance.” He repeated.

“Don’t you trust me?” You all but whispered at him, your smile falling into something much softer, much kinder. Your eyes moved slowly between both of his, fliting down to his lips ever so often before returning to his eyes. He found when you were looking at his lips, his eyes felt naked, but when you looked into his eyes, his lips missed your attention.

“Of course I trust you.” He admitted quickly. “I wouldn’t be standing here making a fool of myself if I didn’t.”

You laughed like he had said something truly funny and pulled his hips flush with yours. “I don’t think you look like a fool. I think you look lovely.”

“Lovely?” He questioned, allowing you to move the two of you back and forth. “I think you’re lovely.”

“Yeah?” You asked, eyes brightening impossibly further. He smiled at you and moved his hands to the nape of your neck, holding you to him as you were holding him to yourself.

“The loveliest.” He proclaimed.

It took Remus about three songs before he realized you’d been moving the both of you in a sort of dance, hips moving in sync against one another as the music played, chatting about everything and nothing, lost in the other’s eyes and smiles.

They’re so quietly sweet and heart-wrenching… fell in love on the ‘inside’ (they both work a job that ‘severs’ their work memories from their out-of-work memories; inside the job, they have no idea who they are on the outside or what the world is like, but they found each other and found a little bit of love and meaning and happiness inside the nightmare corporate world that is their job)

canonically in love with each other! in the show people sever their consciousness so they aren't aware when they're working. this creates a separate person that only exists while they're at the office, who doesn't share any memories with the person they are on the outside. these two old men bond and find comfort in each other despite the dystopian hell situation they're in

Old men having a forbidden romance while stuck in a hellish workplace dystopia

These two old men know nothing outside of their company propaganda, which says romance is forbidden, and they still choose each other. They bond over paintings, discuss company policy in each other's arms like they're debating scripture on whether their love is allowed. They're sooo gay and it's so sweet to see true, canonical old man yaoi

Weird old man office romance except they only exist inside the bounds of the world’s worst office building and they go on a little date to a room full of plastic plants

Ravenpaw/Barley:

kitties who were outcast from previous groups they were a part of and find and live with each other. they are canonical mates even though theyre both dudes. they grow old together, but ravenpaw gets cancer and dies before barley (he lives to be considered old in warrior cats years). however ravenpaw wanted to be in the same kitty afterlife that barley will go to, so they can be together in kitty afterlife. barley is still alive though as far as we know and might be the oldest living cat in the series now. also i just think its funny to call little kitty cats "old man yaoi"

Do you have any headcanons you’d like to share about the Dreemurrs? What do you think Chara’s first meeting with Asriel was like? How do you think the process of settling into the Dreemurr family went? Sorry for the rapid fire questions, I’d just really like to hear your take on things 😅

@fern717 thank u guys!!! gonna answer The Chara Asks in one go :) very glad u guys like the way i draw chara!!! theyre very strongly based off someone i knew so im glad that people seem to like their silliness <3

as for hcs i like to think that chara was in the underground for two years at most and a year at least and they fell when they were around 11/12 and lived til 13 and that asriel was only a few months older than them and they were both very close because neither really had friends. chara was likely very dazed after falling and really surprised to see someone genuinely looking out for their wellbeing so they just went along with it like. I Might As Well. I Guess. i think chara was probably a very depressed kid who had a rough home life so falling and meeting people that would take them in as their own was probably REALLY weird to them. i think their family before the dreemurrs were very hard on them so they were held to some kind of standard to be perfect and they were convinced that if they werent also that way for the dreemurrs they were undeserving of love which lead up to their whole plan.

they needed to somehow prove that they were worthy of the love the dreemurrs gave them whereas asriel wanted them to be okay and he was a people pleaser who would do or say anything to make chara happy and he felt like he could never quite. Do That. like he felt this duty to save them and his people and everyone around him and its not until the end of true pacifist that he realizes that that was never his responsibility and he did all he could. they were both kids who had various issues and in the end chara left a huge impact despite the short amount of time they were in the underground cuz they were so loved... and for the drawing above i like to think their appearance changed a bit!! went from how they looked in the opening to allowing themself to be more loose and not as strict with how they looked as they opened up to the dreemurrs and realized that they wouldnt have to be as nervous as they were on the surface
