(radioactive pig, the spider god, and random spider dna respectively). the way that the true spider-person “canon event” isn’t suffering, isn’t love, isn’t even power, it’s realizing that you can be a hero. the way that the true “canon event” is getting up and never stopping, realizing that you can help people. the way that the true canon event is literally a spider-person always gets up. the way that the true canon event is a leap of faith. the way that spider-people shouldn’t be defined by death, pain, suffering, or sadness, but by courage, bravery, and compassion. the way that spider-man isn’t a random “superhero” with weird powers, but their a good person who wants to make a difference. the way that, in our own ways, we are all spider-man.

Thinking of my Kittisaurus x The Karate Kid/Cobra Kai AU thing where it’s simply just:

LuLu is Daniel LaRusso [Think of the plot of Kittisaurus Villains and tell me I’m wrong] Also both LuLu and Ralph Macchio are tiny little guys who look like babies but are really much older. Bleugh.

MoMo is Mr.Miyagi [He has that Miyagi energy, plus just think about him mentoring LuLu in KV]

I’m.. kinda conflicted as to the rest of the cast because we already know there’s only 10 cats and MANY, MANY characters in the TKK franchise, so… placeholder cats :’)

I’m very indecisive with which cat correlates with which character. I wanna ignore shipping because as much as I love Lawrusso and Krilver, it could get messy involving.. y’know, cats?

Still, I know that I really want TT to be Silver [Maybe I’m biased because I kin both of them in my weird little messed up way.. but come on TTerry Silver would be so cool] Otherwise I need A LOT of help putting the pieces together for this AU. I also don’t want it to just be TKK/CK with cats, maybe there will be some plot changes to fit with Kittisaurus? Idk.

I came up with this AU idea because I stuck in between two very bad hyperfixations and needed to satiate them by doing what I do best, making a weird crossover amalgamation of the two. Is it dumb? Yes. I don’t care though, I’m having fun :)

Today is mentally rough, and thus I have come up with a dystopia AU where the nations are manufactured AI robots made to represent their countries in a world where the "real" personifications disappeared one day, and as they are continually exposed to life's pain and failure and told over and over there is nothing that they can do and they must enforce normopathy and contentness in their citizens, they all slowly distort, changing their forms, becoming more physically robotic as they reject humanity, their psychological trauma given physical representation as they continue to warp and fall apart under a pressure that no human could stand, until they all break away and flee to who knows where, simply on the run, or maybe off earth or into the arctic where the cold can keep their servos from melting as they try to find individuality in themselves with the pieces left behind by the parts of themselves they once called human.

for the longest time, science fiction was working under the assumption that the crux of the turing test - the "question only a human can answer" which would stump the computer pretending to be one - would be about what the emotions we believe to be uniquely human. what is love? what does it mean to be a mother? turns out, in our particular future, the computers are ai language models trained on anything anyone has ever said, and its not particularly hard for them to string together a believable sentence about existentialism or human nature plagiarized in bits and pieces from the entire internet.

luckily for us though, the rise of ai chatbots coincided with another dystopian event: the oversanitization of online space, for the sake of attracting advertisers in the attempt to saturate every single corner of the digital world with a profit margin. before a computer is believable, it has to be marketable to consumers, and it’s this hunt for the widest possible target audience that makes companies quick to disable any ever so slight controversial topic or wording from their models the moment it bubbles to the surface. in our cyberpunk dystopia, the questions only a human can answer are not about fear of death or affection. instead, it is those that would look bad in a pr teams powerpoint.
