Three squints critically at a post in the ground.

“Your measurement is off,��� it says.

“Why, thank you. Your eyesight is far greater than mine, so I very much appreciate you correcting the marks I’m using to decide how big and close the moon is getting!” Joe smiles at Three. Back when Three had first met her, Joe had smiled big quite often. These days, even that goofy, meant-to-be-a-gesture smile is drawn and exhausted. Joe is not designed to run on minimal sleep the way Three is; Joe is hardly the only Hermit staying up until the middle of the night these days.

Blocks rise around them.

Three has better vision than Joe. Blocks rise everywhere.

“I still think we should try Mumbo’s missile again. Or we should try a bigger missile.”

“I am afraid that didn’t work the first time!” Joe says, finishing their sign adjustments.

“That’s stupid,” Three says.

“That’s just how it is. Besides, big problems like that are for big problem havers! We’re out here, collecting data for the people who might actually be able to do something about it.” Joe pauses, shrugs. “I mean, if they exist. They probably don’t.”

“I could torture a Watcher into fixing it,” Three says glibly.

“No, you said that wouldn’t work,” Joe says. “Also, that’s morally questionable.”

Three does not fidget. It trains its eyes on the threat it can do nothing about. It lets out a trill that, for most mortals, is terrifying.

Nothing happens.

“I can make everyone leave,” Three says, quieter this time. “With better plans than—”

“The season’s hardly over. Iskall hasn’t given me my badge yet. I’m not leaving until I get that,” Joe says.

“That is a stupid plan. Don’t be stupid,” Three says.

“Are you leaving?”

“Not until Mumbo does. Especially not until—Pearl should know better. She did not leave last time. She was—was sad. She should know that—I won’t leave until she does,” Three says, halting as it trips over emotions it doesn’t understand.

“Then let’s not have this argument again.”

“Will comply,” Three grumbles.

“Besides, this new moon data is fascinating. Why, at this rate—oh no! I might not even finish my castle! I think I’m going to go work on the walls again, just in case,” Joe says.

“Affirmative,” Three says.

“See you around! If you happen to See any solutions with those big eyes of yours”—and here Joe winks, incredibly unsubtly—“please, by all means, let us all know!”

He leaves.

Three looks at a line of signs across the ground, scattered markers of how small the problem was a month ago. It’s grown so big so fast, and Three has still yet to figure out how to neutralize it.

No one has any orders to stay. No one has any reason to. Three doesn’t understand why they’re still staying.

Three won’t leave alone.

Three, Three doesn’t want—

It would be sad if Zedaph’s sheep experiment had to end early. It should not be buried under moon rocks and rubble. It should be remembered.

Bald Bull actually got into boxing because of a comment his mom made on his anger issues.

Piston Hondo used to write fanfics when he was little,since then he has orphaned his works but they’re still out there,has told no one and will probably take it to the grave.

Disco Kid cannot do anything without background noise, anytime he loses his headphones his fight or flight mode activates.

Aran Ryan ate a lot of ants as a kid,knows the specific smell of ants and it haunts his nostrils once a year or so.

Mr Sandman actually knows a bit of spanish,he started learning it on a whim when he was bored but actually can speak it decently now,sometimes chats with Don Flamenco.

King Hippo gets reminded of his shitty blender business every once in awhile by Aran and HATES it, it once got to a point where saying the word “Blender” would have him fuming.

Bear Hugger sometimes gets a little too involved in other boxer’s gossip and ends up having beef with people he doesn’t even know.

Great Tiger gets bombarbed by hounds of paparazzi’s anytime he goes back to India ro visit family, he can luckily teleport away or send a clone to distract them.

Don Flamenco has multiple backup toupees just in case someone (coughcougharancoughcoughwheeze) tries to snatch it up and run away with it.

We are 9 episodes in on My Stand In and I'm still hissing at my screen every time Sol shows up.

That man was really out here ranting and raving and being all WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS MAD about Ming as if he was the one being wronged like Joe didn't whole ass watch his damn body be cremated the day before. He really thinks he a main character and he's not even the possible second choice love interest.

Like he really dragged Joe away while he was calling for Ming and then told Joe to snap out of it cause Ming doesn't love him. Good to see he's still willing to physically drag Joe away from things he doesn't like, no matter what Joe wants, even in his second life.

He also has the audacity to be out here refusing to read the damn room and see that Joe looks uncomfortable AF anytime he drops a random "I care about you so much" line because it's not needed nor appreciated. He smooth brought Joe into his press conference to call him his boyfriend! And we all know good and damn well Joe wouldn't have agreed to that.

And then he was out here trying to fight Ming at the afterparty saying he doesn't give a fuck knowing good and damn well it would be Joe's ass if a public fight happened because he is the most unknown of the unknowns, while Ming's family is wealthy and Sol is, at the very least, semi-famous.

He's just always talking mad shit about how Ming is terrible and how he wants to save Joe from him and blah blah, but then he's instigating fights with Ming left and right. And personally, if I knew my friend was with a shitty man, I wouldn't keep antagonizing that man knowing my friend is the one who's dealing with the consequences every time. But I would actually want better for my friend because I care about them as a person and not as an ideal image I built in my head of someone I want to date. And that is clearly where Sol and I differ.

Like Ming is a delusional asshole, no argument there, but Sol is a Nice Guy and nah. I want him GONE. Let him go back to Korea and get some dick there. Cause he's not an option for Joe, nor was he ever at any point during this show, yet he really thinks he has relevancy here. Ming is better than me (or more insecure) cause I would have long since told Sol you don't compare when you don't compete.

and damn, if you ignore the absolut blast i was having fighting koga, does totks music on its own make me feel things the game never did, like i dont wanna sound like i keep hating on it but man the music is SO GOOD in ways the game didnt deliver on and when i hear it i just kinda drift off into what id imagine the game being like with music like this and then be sad about the real one like the trailer music alone is just GOD what it made me think theyd dare do with the story after turning what was largely considered THE zelda gameplay so on its head, now surely totks gonna be daring in terms of story, its the most logical progressio-

isn’t it funny how. just as everyone was learning how awful matty healy is and even her fans began to question taylor. just as everyone realised it was wrong to hate joe alwyn for absolutely no proof and that maybe taylor was unfair to him. she drops ‘you’re losing me’ and now everyone is on her side again, sending buckets of hatred towards him and even turning around and saying ‘matty is doing what joe didn’t give taylor’. ‘she was lying in lavender haze’ when she said she didn’t want to be married’.

i’m sick of the infantilisation of this woman and the petty way she weaponises her fan base against people in her life. the song is pretty and sad i’ll admit that, but this was *extremely* calculated to stop speculations about taylor cheating and instead send hate to joe again and paint taylor as the victim. take two seconds to extricate yourself from up her ass and it’ll become clear that the timing of dropping this was very much to get the public’s sympathy back on her side again.

i’m sorry not to be mean but what world are you living in if you truly believe people online have “stopped worrying” about trump. like if you see consistent discussion criticizing biden and immediately think “oh so you’ve all forgotten how bad trump is!!!” i worry that you aren’t able to focus on two different issues at once. literally Everyone is very well aware that trump is evil and him being in power is horrifically dangerous, i have seen not a soul either online or in person who has “forgotten” that. i truly feel like there is such a lack of constructive discussion criticizing our ineffectual and frankly dangerous democratic leadership because you guys can’t stop constantly going “but trump is worse!!!!” like right so two things can be true at once
