you sat on your bed a half hour before your date with hazel, of course you were anxious but of course you were already prepared, you didn't know where you were going so you chose nothing too casual but nothing too fancy. your phone finally vibrated, you picked it up with your clammy hands and sighed, your phone turned on and the light hit your eyes, saw a notification from hazel saying she was outside

you quickly sat up and grabbed your bag, you rushed down your stairs and opened your door, stepping out and saw hazel's car parked in front of your house, you walked over to her car and waved at her, you open the passenger door and sat down in the comfortable leather chair, 'hi haze' you grinned and fixed your hair, she smiled back and started the car, 'hey sweetheart' her soft tone made you instantly melt

she drove to the restaurant of her choice and parked her car, you unbuckled your seatbelt and she opened the door for you, you stepped out and saw her with a shit eating grin on her face, 'wow you are such a gentleman' you said sarcastically, she shut the car door and bowed, you chuckled and started walking to the main entrance. you got a table for two and sat down in the most comfortable restaurant chairs known to man kind

'holy fuck these chairs are comfortable' you lightly gasped and giggled, she nodded with a soft smile on her face, 'well I had to take my girl somewhere fancy' her girl? you froze up for a second at the nickname, 'oh I'm already your girl? wow we're moving pretty fast I'd say' you picked up the menu and started looking at the pages, 'well you know how us lesbians are' you laughed at her stereotypical joke and glanced up at her before quickly moving your eyes back down to the meni in front of you

when the waitress came you both ordered the same thing, pretty couple like right? 'so hazel how was your day' you sipped on your water, 'well I had soccer practice but I think you know that, I spent most of my day stressing about this date' you raised your eyebrows at the statement, 'really, you? stressed about a date with, me?' she let out a light laugh and nodded, 'why wouldn't I be nervous, I'm going on a date with the most beautiful girl in the school' your eyes widened and you cleared your throat

'you know that was a little gay haze' she sarcastically gasped and put her hand over her chest, 'how dare you accuse me of such' you giggled and smiled, 'what? it's just the truth' you shrugged

the rest of the date went amazing, you guys told each other stories from when you were kids, you laughed about things and most importantly there was a connection. you paid for the food or more like hazel paid for the food, you walked back to her car and once again she opened the door for you while bowing. as the nice girl she is she drove you home, the whole time with her hand in your thigh, making you nervous the whole car ride

now 15 minutes later you stood in front of your door, holding hazel's hand. 'you know hazel this was really fun' you smiled at her with the warmest smile she had ever seen, 'i had a lot of fun too' she leaned closer to you, you instinctively kissed her before pulling away, 'oh shit sorry I didn't me-' but before you could finish your lips where back on hazel's, you wrapped you arms around her neck attempting to make this a more intime moment

she pulled away and looked you in the eyes, 'can I take you out again?' she whispered, you nodded, 'yeah I would like that' and a second date was made.

so i realized i've never actually written them all down and have just kinda been thinking about them in my head, so i'll put down the ones that have been floating around + add on if i come up with new ones

they've known each other for a very long time, but got seperated a lot due to unstable housing. they reunited and have spent the most time together as adults (+ they live together)

stole their main outfits from some high schoolers but the rest they either shoplift or dig through the dumpsters for

halloween is the best only because they make stupid bets and competitions about scaring the trick or treaters only to have nobody come near their building (pim may or may not buy the big candy bars to give out on purpose)

HARIN KIM AND LENORA HARKER HCS

Lenora is a very very simple creature, she sees a pretty lady and she tries to get in her pants. It’s her main function. So when she first saw Harin, she was very concerned with the fact she’d never spoken to this total babe before. She walked over and put the charm on, pulling out her best and most gay pickup lines only for Harin to politely turn her down and tell her she was straight, and seeing someone. “That’s very kind.. but I dont swing that way” Hm…. You sure?” “Yeah” “damn okay, my fault, slime”

Harin is the kinda girl Lenora needs as a friend, she’s kind of like a puppy that hasn’t been house trained. She’s far too excitable, she needs a steady hand to nudge her in the right direction or she could end up getting seriously hurt someday. Harin, being everyone’s personal therapist, helps Lenora find a way to channel all that leftover energy in a way that doesnt involve throwing herself off of the roof, or doing bike tricks with no helmet.

Once she becomes better friends with Harin, Lenora begins to take better care of her car. She wants to impress Sonya ( @cyanityy ‘s little lady) with her sudden encyclopaedic knowledge of car care, because god knows she’s too broke to keep placating her with Taco Bell in return for car repairs. She’s getting the hang of it… slowly. There’s still a lot of essential stuff she doesn’t really know, but she knows how to check her oil levels and change the wiper fluid now.

In the event that Harin’s skilful therapizing doesn’t work, she takes pity on Lenora when she gets injured. Usually she’s splayed out on the concrete like some kind of Skyrim ragdoll, often with just some light bruising but sometimes the falls aren’t so great and she ends up breaking something. No matter how much Lenora is worried about looking attractive, she wont stop the shorter girl from peeling her lanky body off of the pavement and taking her to the nurse’s office or the ER “You okay?” “Hm? Yeah ahaahah Im cool” “…” “…” “Need a ride to the hospital?” “Yes please, I think I ruptured something”

Harin quells her fears about going into her senior year, she seems so confident, and she’s able to balance a relationship, clique life and her studies. Lenora worries about her life at Bullworth a lot, being a gay woman with a sports scholarship she’s really concerned about the consequences of being out could have on her life. This only gets worse after fire in the gym, when she unfortunately loses both her legs. Harin arriving at the hospital, despite pushback from the other Greasers, was one of the nicest things anyone from any other clique had done for her. It gave her the strength to fight on.

It’s cause Benny was the only one mentioned to be gay in the original book, so they had to keep him being turned into a monkey in the game but didn’t really mention him being gay for whatever reason. Nimdok being gay was only briefly mentioned in the game manual, I feel they just added the nazi background to him in the game because he was a blank slate in the book. AM messes with them differently because of what would hurt them most individually, but he doesn’t have much bias, just sees things like gender or sexuality as further ways to hurt them (Ellen being a woman for example). The main thing is that the book and game versions of the characters are really different so the canons don’t always mesh well. Sorry for the paragraph but I wanted to answer 😋

It just feels like AM punishes Benny for being gay by making him have sex with Ellen. That's just how it feels to me. Obviously, AM isn't homophobic or anything.

And it really does suck that Nimdok is such a blank slate. Harlan Ellison really could've gone all out and gave him an interesting back story, but he's so empty. We get so much info about everyone else, but not Nimdok. Guess he just gave up when he got to Nimdok.

It really does get confusing with the book and game having so many differences. Makes things more complicated than it needs to be.

Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Barnaby Brooks Jr (Tiger & Bunny):

My silly little guys I don't want to rant your ear off but that dynamic can be agrued either way because they are rival to lovers 10/10 My favourite pookies

I could rant your ears off with the propaganda for Barnaby Brooks Jr. and Kotetsu T. Kaburagi from Tiger & Bunny but because tumblr asks have a character limit I'll try to keep it brief.

(Spoilers for Tiger & Bunny of course)

They're the definition of fell first x fell harder. Barnaby and Kotetsu are of the rivals to friends to lovers trope, they absolutely despised each other at first, but even when they couldn't stand each other they felt inexplicably drawn to each other.

Barnaby fell first, he was the first to feel something romantic for Kotetsu, warming up to him as soon as episode 3 (when they're deactivating a bomb and Kotetsu refuses to leave him behind on principle he smiles when Kotetsu isn't watching) but he fully acknowledges his feelings in episode 8, when Kotetsu takes a direct hit from a dangerous villain to protect Barnaby. This is seen in the post credits scene as he reminisces of the events of that day and smiles to himself alone in his apartment. When they have a fight in the climax of the first half of the season, the only way the conflict is resolved is by Kotetsu going out of his way to put his trust in Barnaby, and after the day is saved, Barnaby finally allows himself to smile in front of Kotetsu.

Kotetsu fell harder. He was in denial about his feelings for almost all of season 1; he is a widow, and through the series he is shown to not have truly grieved his wife's death, and as of season 1 he is not ready to move on and accept he could have romantic feelings for anyone after Tomoe (his wife), and he is also afraid to fall in love again and lose them too. During the second half of season 1, Barnaby is brainwashed and no longer remembers him, believing Kotetsu was the one to murder a person he was close with. Kotetsu tries everything he can think of to make Barnaby remember him, and when it doesn't work he breaks down (crying in front of another person for the first time in the show) and stops fighting back, he kneels down and lets Barnaby deliver the final blow to him...

Luckily for him, Barnaby remembers just in time! They can go back to pining hell!

But not long after (since the main conflict isn't resolved yet) Kotetsu is fatally wounded, which triggers the most fucking glass biting nail scratching absolute fucking insane Technically Not love confession in which neither of them say "I love you" but it's very clear for anyone with two functioning eyes and a couple braincells that it is indeed a declaration of love. While not explicitly in a romantic relationship, the creators of the show have said the nature of their bond is "Up to interpretation", which (considering the history of the studio regarding gay relationships) sounds more to me like "Everyone here wants to make them kiss so bad but they'll cancel the show if we do"
