i need to dump so leave if you don't want to read what i have to say
I don't complain about my mum. She's done everything for me and my brother and i will forever love her for that but damn it she says things that hurt.
i need to let this out bc i really have no friends to vent this out to but even if no one sees this, it's out there and i let it out.
I am a nice person. I like to believe im a nice person and the reason I doubt that is because i constantly get told the opposite by my own family. I try my best, to do things in the way my mum approves of and i really really try but still it isnt enough for her. i could easily forget one thing she tells me and she could ruin my just fine day by yelling at me for the smallest things and calling me ungrateful. Yes, i didnt do what i was supposed to but for christ sake i forgot. for every little thing she yells at me for it and it just... i can't stand sudden loud noises anymore because i have been yelled at so much, every loud thing startles me. I don't say my gratitude, yes but i try to show it because i didn't grow up close to her, not in that way and now i find it hard to express what i really feel and i can't tell her any of this because im scared.
the other day, i said i was nice. that i was a nice person and she said i wasnt. I replied saying I was, just not often at home and she said something along the line of 'because your not nice at home, you aren't nice at all. it starts at home' and that crushed me. did she consider the fact that i wasn't nice at home because nobody is nice to me at home. I constantly feel like i have to defend myself because of the tone that is said to me and when I give out any sort of emotion, she will fight on the fact that we/I have no right to feel mad at her because of her sacrifices.
For FUCKS SAKE i can't express emotion?!!! I can't be mad, or annoyed or tired or lazy for FUCK SAKEEESSS
you interpret completely innocent things as disrespect and we didnt even mean to do it. breathing out heavily, looking away from you. can't i just be tired and breath out?!! or look away because i dont want you to fucking ridicule the way my eye moves so you can interpret it to something you say is disrespectful to you.
i dont say any of this to you because i have it. i hate the yelling and im scare because of it.
another thing i dont want to say to her face is, I didnt ask for this. to be born. I didnt ask to be brought to life and i know, im being selfish or something but really, I didn't. you say things and make it like were such a burden to you but I didnt ask to be born. you wanted me, you raised me. understand that i can't always do everything and yelling only make it worse.
i don't say things to you because i don't feel that we're close enough to be like that bc for years, you focused on my little brother. for years, I felt that he was more your favourite than me and being the child i was, i accepted that. maybe it's me who's at fault for not learning how to open up and i take that. it's my fault.
when I do talk about something, mostly about the things im interested in, i am ignored. im dismissed. im talking too much. if so, I shut up and you take my silence as something else or nothing at all.
fuck i maybe being dramatic, as would seem to others but fuck, i need this out. i need all of it out. even just to a void no one listens to, i need it out.
it's the reason i could be so obsessive. In my head I take these characters and used them as my comfort because where else could i get it. I am sad, alone or lonely in a crowd, starved of affection that i don't know how to process and push away and these characters are all i've got to keep sane.
Mock me for feeling emotion, for crying when your mad at me and you wonder why i'm distant. why i don't tell you things about my life. why i dont answer? because i wasn't asked. because you didnt care before, i cant comprehend how you can now.
I really needed to vent this. I am so sorry for those who read for burdening you with all this but tbf you were warned. I don't care if anybody reads this, I just needed it out. Even if the person this is directed to, doesn't know any of this.
I needed to vent and truthfully, my heart feels a little bit lighter letting it all out. maybe i'll cry again in the shower or before i fall asleep but, i let it out and im kinda proud of myself for that.

Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
"You cheated! I saw you bump the ball, don't try to deny it!"
"I did not cheat! You just suck at pool!"
"Pilots! I will ban pool for the rest of the night if I have to. Don't test me."
"Sorry, Penny..."
I watched the unfolding drama around the pool table of the Hard Deck with a smile as I sipped the last of my hot chocolate. Penny had closed the whole place for a little early Christmas celebration between her, Amelia, Mav, and the Daggers, and as the partner of Jake Seresin, I'd been invited along this year. The atmosphere, food and drink, and free entertainment all combined to make this my favorite Christmas party attended so far.
"Hey."
I looked up to see my boyfriend, Jake, crossing the room towards me with a big smile and two mugs in his hands. I shifted over a little on the cushy loveseat Penny had moved in for the evening's party, giving Jake room to settle in next to me.
"I brought you another cup of hot chocolate," he said, leaning in to kiss my forehead as I took the mug from him. "Not spiked, although I still don't know how you're putting up with all these idiots sober."
I laughed. "I love your friends, Jake. And I want to remember all the embarassing shit they pull clear as day, so I can use it against them later."
"And that's why you're the best. Amazing." Jake leaned in to punctuate his statement with a kiss, this time on the lips. I smiled into the kiss, then snuggled into Jake's chest once we broke apart. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders, holding me closely, and the moment was one of absolutely perfect peace and comfort despite the chaos continuing around us.
"Thanks for inviting me along to this, by the way," I said, my voice low as I curled into Jake, more relaxed than I'd been all week in the leadup to this party. Jake hummed, and I could feel the vibrations all through his chest.
"Thanks for agreeing to come. I've been to a few of these now, and this one's already a lot better with you here. A lot." I leaned even further into Jake, squeezing his thigh gently with my free hand. After a moment, Jake continued. "Although, honestly, you might want to wait to thank me until after we play Dirty Santa."
I let out a long, heavy sigh and pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Babe. I hate it when you call it that. You live in California now, it's White Elephant! Dirty Santa sounds like something much different and much worse than a fun gift exchange."
"Worse?" asked Jake, a familiar grin and note of mischief in his tone as he leaned down to whisper in my ear, his arm wandering from my shoulders to my waist. When he spoke again, it was nothing more than a low growl in my ear. "Or better?"
I considered for a moment, then shook my head and leaned back as much as I could in the small loveseat.
"No. The delivery and everything normally would've worked, but not for the phrase 'Dirty Santa', and not at the non-blood-relative family Christmas party. Nice try, through."
Jake just smiled and shook his head. He leaned in again, pulling me towards him like he was about to double down, but before he got the chance, we were interrupted by a few of his friends shouting from the pool table.
"Hangman! Get over here, we need some fresh blood at this pool table!"
Jake just rolled his eyes and waved the guys off, but they refused to take no for an answer. After a moment, I leaned up and kissed Jake on the cheek and gave him a little smile, then moved his arm from around my shoulders myself.
"Go," I said. "You've got honor to defend in pool, and you should probably get a game or two in now before Penny inevitably has to ban it."
Jake grinned, but he didn't move from the seat next to me.
"...Are you sure? I don't want to abandon you."
I just waved him off. "I'm fine, I like all your friends, and I already know most of them pretty well. No risk of abandonment here, I promise."
"Great." Jake leaned in to give me a quick kiss, then pulled back with a grin that spelled trouble. "Then I have some people who need to get their asses kicked in pool."
With that, he hopped up and took off to join the group at the pool table. I watched him with a fond smile, a warm glow sitting in my chest. He was absolutley ridiculous, but he was also absolutely wonderful.
While I was busy watching Jake, Natasha wandered over and took a seat in the chair next to me. I gave her a little smile, then turned back to watching Jake. After a moment, I heard her huff a little laugh, and I turned my attention back to her with a raised eyebrow.
"What?"
"Nothing. It's just... I've never seen him like this."
I frowned, trying to figure out what she was talking about.
"Nat-?"
"Hangman. It's been... nice, but really weird to see him like this."
"Nat, like what?"
She shook her head, her attention drifting to where my boyfriend was in the middle of trash talking at the pool table. She huffed another laugh, then turned back to me.
"He's wearing an ugly Christmas sweater. That matches with yours. Do you know what happened the last time someone tried to get Hangman to do that?"
"...No..."
"He dumped the one Coyote tried to force him into in a pool of oil from the planes."
I snorted, my hand flying to my mouth to cover a disbelieving laugh. I kept waiting for Natasha to smile or something to let me know she was joking, but her expression stayed dead serious.
"...Really?"
"Yes, really! And you're the first partner he's ever brought to more than one of our events, the first one he hasn't given a bunch of shit to for not drinking with him, the first one in years any of us have bothered to learn the name of. He's in a good mood, he's clearly just as happy to sit with you over here as he is to be in the middle of the pool game over there. Even right after he and Rooster get into it, he smiles at you two seconds later and it's like nothing even happened. Do you know how long those stupid moods of his usually last?"
I huffed a laugh and shook my head. Everything Natasha was saying had my heart racing, but I didn't want to let my imagination run away from me. Surely I didn't have that big of an impact on Jake, no matter what Natasha seemed to think.
"Hey guys," said Mickey, coming over to join the two of us with a smile. "I needed to get the hell out of that pool game while I still could. It's about to be a knock down dragout between Mav, Rooster, and Hangman. We're taking bets on how long it'll be before Penny bans pool and who's going to be the final straw to cause it if you guys want in."
"...What are the current odds?" asked Natasha, leaning forward. Mickey quickly walked her through the bet layout as it stood, then continued with a grin before she could stake anything.
"There's one other rule you should be aware of: no one's allowed to send our newest extended family member into the fray to influence the odds."
He nodded towards me when he said it, and I raised an eyebrow, but Nat almost shot out of her chair in indignation.
"What? Come on, where's the fun in that?"
"The fun is that we can actually take bets without a win card in everybody's pocket that can keep the game going all night."
Nat threw her hands up and flopped back in her chair, which was my cue to lean forward.
"Mickey... what are you talking about?"
"Hangman's one of the three live wires over there that's going to get way too competitive and ruin the game. If you go over there, you're gonna calm him down and totally ruin the fairness of our bet."
I laughed and shook my head, copying Nat and flopping back in my chair.
"I think you guys are seriously overestimating my influence on Jake's fundamental personality. We've been together long enough now that I think I would've noticed if he was a completely different person around me."
"Okay, first of all, no you wouldn't have," started Mickey. "If he were a different person around you, you'd only ever see the person he is around you, because you're necessarily around him when you're seeing him. And second, we're not saying he's a totally different person."
Nat hummed like she might disagree, and Mickey gave her a little nod.
"Okay, at least I'm not. What we're really trying to say is... he's obviously pretty committed, and very happily tied down. It's made him more grounded in a way that I honestly never thought I'd see. But it's nice, and it's definitely because of you."
I just hummed, processing Mickey's words. Jake and I had been dating for a few months, and although we hadn't really sat down to talk about it, we were clearly getting pretty serious. At least, I was. And it was nice to know that Jake's friends seemed to notice the same thing coming from Jake.
I stayed in my seat chatting with Natasha and Mickey for a while longer, until pool was eventually called off with Amelia having won the bet, to no one's surprise. Everyone wandered over to join Nat, Mickey, and I to begin White Elephant, and Jake settled into the loveseat next to me again.
"How was pool?" I asked as he handed me another mug of hot chocolate, further defending his position as my dream man.
"Fine, until Rooster started cheating. And then he has the nerve to call me on it when I started doing it to, to level the playing field!"
I just laughed and curled further into Jake's chest as he shot Rooster an aggressive stink eye. Luckily for all of us, Rooster didn't catch it.
The rest of the night passed much more peacefully sans pool table, even though White Elephant was as explosive as Jake had been expecting. Still, once it was over and we'd all settled in to relax together by the fire, any of the negatively chaotic moments of the night were long forgotten.
I laid my head on Jake's chest, listening to the soothing rythm of his heartbeat as Jake ran his hand gently up and down my arm. I was honestly on the edge of drifting off to sleep when Jake's voice drew me back. He was speaking quietly, right next to my ear, so softly that I wasn't sure he even meant for me to hear him.
"I love you. So fucking much."
I shifted just enough to meet Jake's eyes. He seemed surprised to find me awake, but a determination I usually only saw when I got to visit him on base was shining in his eyes.
"I love you," he repeated, louder this time. "And it's okay if you aren't ready to say it back or don't want to or whatever. But... I need you to know. I love you more than I've ever loved somebody before."
I smiled, my heart melting as I leaned up to kiss Jake. I ran my hands through the hair on the back of his neck, then pulled back just enough to meet his eyes again and whispered against his lips.
"I love you too, Jake. More than anyone or anything. So, so much."
His face lit up like the sun. His arm wrapped tight around my waist, and he pulled me closer to him than was probably appropriate for our current setting. He kissed me, hard, and I kissed him right back. I'd been in love with Jake Seresin for a while now, but it was nice to finally say it out loud. And even nicer to hear it back.

@lampylamperson HOPE U LIKE IT !!
a/n: omfg this man IS TOO DAYUM FINE. am I back in my animated men phase ??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last thing you expected while you waited for your husband to return, was for him to bring a giant kaiju baby with him.
You were sitting on the couch downstairs, your head being held up by your hand as you watched crappy tv shows, when you heard a loud banging noise from outside, you snapped your head up, to see kenji finally swimming in.
The door opened, and water flowed underneath Kenji as he slid onto the floor. “Mina! Emergency analysis.” He said quickly, you furrowing your eyebrows at his suddenness. You stood up, going to his side.
“Scanning for injuries.” She said, he breathed shakily, turning to look at you and back at Mina.
When she got to his hands to scan, he held them close to his chest, as if he was hiding something.
“Ken, this is very strange. According to my readings, you have a… a second heartbeat?”
“No. It’s not my heartbeat, Mina.” He moved his hands to reveal a pink dragon looking thing.
You gasped, eyes going what. “What… is that? Oh my god, Ken, is that a fu-“
“Yep, it’s the end of the world.” He interrupted, sighing, sitting up, the baby sliding down his body and to the floor. Your eyes were blown wide, in pure shock at the huge kaiju you had in front of you.
The baby looked curious, following Mina around as she floated.
“Um… is it okay?”
“She, ken. The infant is a she.”
She climbed all over Ken, trying to get to Mina with little giggles. You tilted your head to the side. “She’s kinda… cute.” You murmured.
“Her breathing seems normal. Reflexes okay. Heart rate seems slightly elevated, but-“
Ken grabbed her again, holding her in his hands. “Just give me the bad news.”
“I have absolutely no specific data on infant kaiju physiology.”
“Wait, I’m sorry.” He chuckled, putting the baby down. She eyed you curiously, and cooed a few times at you, reaching out. “I’m sorry. Didn’t mom and dad program everything they knew about these things into your electric brain.”
She began to walk towards you before Ken grabbed her again, pulling her towards him making you laugh when she had a little sad frown.
“She is not a thing, Ken. And we’ve never seen an infant kaiju. In fact, no one has.”
“Great, super helpful.” He said sarcastically. “Yeah, I think I’d be better off asking Siri.” He retorted, you rolling your eyes.
“I mean, Mina’s not the one that brought a giant freaking kaiju baby home, Ken.” You pointed out, he rolled his eyes and turned to you.
“Well, we have to figure something out. We can’t raise a damn… kaiju baby.” He told you, putting the baby back in front of him and groaning in annoyance when his color timer started beeping again. “Great.” He sighed, looking back at the baby when he realized something.
“Um…” he chuckled. “Why is she changing colors?” He pointed to her.
“Maybe you should ask Siri.” Mina retorted, making you stifle a laugh.
He chuckled. “Do not start, Mina.” He pointed at the robot in front of him.
“If I were to guess, Ken, I’d say she has imprinted on you.” She began to chew on his color timer, he quickly stood up and shook his head. “No. No. No, no! No, no, no!” He plucked the baby off of him, holding her out in front of himself. “Are you saying-“
“Yes, Ken. She thinks you are her mother.”
You had to laugh now, he bumped his head up onto the roof, letting out a yelp.
“I- I am not built for this! I’ve got a life. A title to win!” He groaned. “You do something nice and now I’m babysitting a giant- pink lizard thing!” He shouted. “We’ve gotta get it out of here.”
“And where would we put her?” You asked with a quirked eyebrow.
He groaned, looking down at you. His timer started beeping again. “Oh! Oh, oh, oh, we’ll take her to kaiju island!”
“Unfortunately, Ken, no one knows where to find it.” Mina points out.
He sighed, looking down. “Come on!”
The beeping on his timer became more rapid.
“Ken, it would be very bad if you changed back right now.” Mina said, as if he didn’t already know that.
A large burst of light and he was falling back down to you, you watching him thud onto the ground with a grunt.
He stood up, stretching before turning back to the baby behind him. He chuckled nervously, waving. “Hi…”
The baby’s face changed, her smile turning into a frown as she began to sob out, she let out a screech, large beams of light and energy coming from her mouth.
Kenji screamed, turning back to you and ducking down and grabbing you, pulling you flush to his body as he rolled over. All his cars had fallen, causing him to gasp out. You winced.
“What the heck was that?!” He shouted at the baby, you both standing back up, Ken still in front of you.
She let out more circles of energy, causing the both of you to run.
“She’s scared of you.” Mina spoke.
“Scared of me? She’s 20 feet tall!” He exclaimed.
“She doesn’t know you, she only knows ultraman!”
“Mina! Containment unit!” He yelled when you both had to continue dodging her attacks while running.
“Which one?!”
“The biggest one!” He shouted at her, you both finally panting and turning around when her screeching had stopped and there was no more attacks.
She was now in a giant glass container, her hands and claws on the glass, cooing with a sad face. Kenji sighed in relief. “Oh, God.”
You sighed as well, hitting your husband on his shoulder. “You’re cleaning this place up.”
“Oh, seriously?” He murmured, looking around.
“Hey, you’re her mother, not me.” You teased.
He groaned and shook his head at you. “I’m not her mother.”
“She thinks you are.”
He just rolled his eyes, lightly shoving your shoulder. “I hate you sometimes.” He murmured.
“You love me.”

Nico Hischier x fem!reader
summary: reader is terrified of storms, but Nico makes sure she never has to brave them alone
notes: hi!! long time no see! this is a little self indulgent, not gonna lie. i started this last week when some pretty gnarly storms were coming through my town and i struggled finishing it because, surprise, i was scared 🫣. anyways, i hope you enjoy!! happy reading!! 🫶🏼
[3.3k]
~
Storms have never been something that you enjoyed. You don’t understand the appeal of the angry rumbles and blinding flashes that litter the sky during a thunderstorm.
Ever since you were a little girl storms have been high on your fear list. Anytime you saw the purplish-gray of the sky, you were doing everything in your power to drown out the incoming storm.
Much like you were right now. You had just turned a movie on in the living room, volume high enough that you worried your upstairs neighbors could hear. Every curtain in the apartment was drawn closed, preventing you from seeing any flash of lightning that would dance across the dark sky.
Your last line of defense was usually white noise being played through a speaker on low volume to further try and drown out the rumbles that are starting to sound closer by the second. Well, it will be your last line of defense, if you could just find the wireless speaker.
It wasn’t in its normal spot in the kitchen junk drawer, nor was it in the bathroom. It wasn’t in your boyfriend’s practice bag, knowing he sometimes takes it to the rink with him when he hits the gym after a morning skate.
You had looked in both your bedroom and the spare room, the guest bathroom, the hallway closet, the various shelves around the living room, in-between the couch cushions, and you had even braved stepping out onto your small balcony to search for it before rushing back inside after a particularly bright flash of lightning.
It was nowhere to be found.
While you were on all fours on the floor trying to see if it had somehow rolled under the couch, you heard the familiar chime of your ringtone coming from the table behind you, startling you a bit.
Seeing your boyfriend’s name flash on the screen, you pick up the phone immediately, speaking a small hello into the device just as an especially loud crack of thunder rings out.
“Hey, Schatz. You okay? Just heard the storm outside, knew you were home alone and wanted to check on you during intermission. Got all of your safety nets in place?” Nico’s worried voice hurries out, slightly out of breath.
The Devils were hosting a charity scrimmage tonight, the proceeds going to a local youth hockey program. Nico had offered for you to come and watch, but you had been wanting to catch up on the reality shows he always complained about watching with you. When he left a few hours earlier, the sky was blue and there were no clouds to be seen.
You didn’t regret your decision until thirty minutes ago when your phone started blaring an alarm with a severe storm warning alert.
“Yeah, I’m okay for right now. Have a movie on and the curtains are closed. I can’t find the speaker, though. Do you remember where you last saw it?” you ask him, placing the phone on speaker so you can continue to search.
“Oh Schatz, I’m so sorry,” Nico starts, regret joining the worry in his tone. “I have the speaker with me. Put it in my game bag this morning. Went and got a few reps in the gym in before warm-ups today. I didn’t look at the forecast before I left, I didn’t know you’d need it.”
Your stomach drops at his confession, your anxiety spiking. You needed the speaker in order to fully drown out the thunder. It was something you and your mom had come up with when you were a kid to help you sleep if it was storming at night. You hadn’t tried to get through a storm without the technique since.
“It’s…it’s okay, Neeks. Really. I’ll be fine,” you start, trying to hide the anxious quiver of your voice. “It’s just a little-“ your sentence gets interrupted by a boom of thunder so loud you could feel the vibrations from the floor you were currently kneeled on.
Nico’s guilt only increases at the yelp you let out, his heart breaking further when he hears the whimper you tried to hide afterwards.
“Y/N are you sure you’re okay? I can try to see if Nicole can come over for a bit? Jesper said she stayed home, too. Or I can send someone to come get you and bring you here if you want?” he offers, hating the fact you’re in the apartment alone.
“No, it’s okay. It’ll probably be over by then, anyways, right?” you ask, needing the reassurance that it was only a short storm.
“Yeah, baby, I’m sure it’s almost over. Just turn the tv up and grab your weighted blanket. I’ll be home as soon as I can, okay?”
“Okay,” you squeak out, another low rumble coming from the world outside.
“I love you, okay? I’ll call again to check on you next intermission. Be home before you know it, Schatz.”
“Love you too, Neeks. Play safe,” you tell him before hanging up the phone.
You take his advice and find the weighted blanket he bought you last year after a particularly nasty storm had come through when he was away on a roadie.
He read online that the pressure could help comfort people during anxiety inducing moments, so he had one delivered to your shared apartment the next day. You were extremely thankful for it, especially in moments like this, but nothing can replace having Nico here with you to comfort you during an especially rough storm.
You were trying really hard to focus on the movie, having raised the volume even more to supplement the loss of the noise from the speaker, but the noises from the storm outside only got louder and louder.
You could hear the wind whipping around the tall building you were in, adding a whole new layer to your current distress. Checking your phone constantly, you knew it was still only a severe storm, no further warnings had been issued, but you were starting to get worried the bad weather was here to stay.
Resorting to laying on the couch with eyes closed and hands over your ears to muffle the sounds, your fear had reached its peak. You felt embarrassed, wondering why you couldn’t just find comfort in the harsh weather like a normal person. Instead, you were laying on your couch in a fetal position with your hands covering your ears as a grown woman.
Another intense crack infiltrated your apartment, causing your shaking body to jump, eyes snapping open. Just as you were able to calm your racing heart, you were suddenly covered in darkness.
It felt like someone had just dumped ice water all over your body, every nerve alert with fear. You sat completely still, waiting for the warm lights to flicker back on.
The longer you sat waiting, the worse you felt.
There was no way you could survive this storm with no power. There was nothing to block out the wind and thunder. There was nothing to lessen the bright flashes of light through the curtains. You were so paralyzed by fear you couldn’t even make the short trek to the kitchen to grab a flashlight or light the various candles littered throughout the apartment.
While debating with yourself about if you were going to be brave enough to get up off the couch and walk through the dark apartment, you heard the lock on your front door unlock with a click.
Every movement in your body stopped, including the rise and fall of your chest. You held your breath and sat as still as you could, more petrified with fear than you had ever been before.
Who was coming into your apartment in the middle of a storm like this? The only other people with keys were Nico and your landlord. One of those people was in the middle of a hockey game twenty minutes away.
A new wave of fear washed over you. What if it was your landlord coming in because he had to evacuate the building? Was the storm that bad? It sounded that bad, but you were always a terrible judge at what classified a storm as bad.
Any storm was bad to you. The slightest rumble of thunder had you wanting to dive under the nearest table like a child.
The door creaked open, squeaky footsteps making their way into your apartment. You continued to lay there, unmoving.
“Schatz? You in here?” you heard a familiar accent call out, all tension in your body disappearing at the sound.
Your body springs up into a sitting position, turning your head to look behind the couch, the sight in front of you almost causing relieved tears to well in your eyes.
Nico stood by the closed door, hanging his dripping jacket on one of the many hooks on the wall in front of him. His soaking wet hair was adding to the puddle on the floor left by his jacket.
He was wearing a pair of athletic shorts and one of his Devils hoodies, the latter only slightly drier than the jacket he had just removed.
He shook out his hair, making you bite back a giggle at how he resembled a dog shaking out its fur, before looking up and seeing your alert eyes peeking over the couch at him.
“Oh, Schatz, are you okay?” he sighed as he made his way over to you.
His socks audibly squished as he rounded the end of the couch, coming to crouch before you.
He took your hands in his own, making you flinch at how cold they were.
Bringing his lips down to blow onto your intertwined hands, he mumbles out a “M’sorry, I wasn’t here, pretty girl.”
You meet his eyes through his wet eyelashes, admiring how pretty he looks right now, brain still catching up to the fact he’s here.
Staring at him while he warms his hands with your own, you remember that he was supposed to still be at the charity game right now, having only called you at the beginning of the first intermission not even thirty minutes ago.
As soon as you open your mouth to question him, you were reminded of the reason for your current state.
A blinding flash of light illuminates the dark apartment, thunder rumbling almost immediately after.
Slamming your eyes shut to try to block the sight, you try to move your hands to your ears once again, but they’re still clutched between both of Nico’s.
You feel the couch next to you sink underneath his body weight, his arms moving to come around your shoulders as he hugs your body into his.
His hand moves up and down your arm in a soothing motion, a small “shhh” coming out of his mouth as his lips rest against your temple.
“You’re safe, darling. You’re alright. I’m here,” he says softly on repeat, working you through the moment of panic.
You allow your body to sink into his, reveling in the comfort that his presence brings you.
“That’s it, just relax. I’m not going to let anything happen to you, alright?”
After several minutes of relishing Nico’s presence, you finally lean back and put a small amount of distance between the two of you.
He moves his hands to smooth down your hair and cup your face, tilting your head up so he can look into your eyes and make sure you’re okay.
As you give him a small smile, he leans forward and places a kiss first on the tip of your nose and then moves his lips up to rest on your forehead.
He pulls back, leaving your face trapped in-between his hands, speaking softly.
“Power went out, didn’t it, Schatz?”
You simply nodded, finding it hard to speak with your cheeks squished.
He starts rubbing his thumbs back and forth on your cheeks, “Scared you when it went out, huh? That why you look so startled when I came in?”
You nodded again, starting to feel a little silly with the chipmunk cheeks he’s caused you to have.
“Well, let’s go fix that, shall we?” Nico finally removes his hands from your face, standing up and reaching his hand out to help you stand from the couch.
He leads you into the kitchen, stopping at the drawer that holds a lighter and flashlights for occasions like this one. He grabs two flashlights out of the drawer, turning one on and handing it to you.
Taking his own flashlight, he turns it on and immediately places it directly under his chin, pulling a face in the shadow of the light coming from the plastic.
His actions cause you to giggle, rolling your eyes at how childish your big, ‘scary’ hockey player can be.
“There she is. Knew I could get that cute little laugh out of you,” he beams, proud of his success.
He grabs the lighter and takes your hand once again, leading you around to every candle you have placed around the apartment. You hold the flashlights as he lights each candle until every last one is lit and the apartment is bathed in golden light once again.
The two of you end up back on the couch sharing your weighted blanket as Nico becomes your buffer to the storm outside. You sit with your head resting against his chest for a little while before you remembered that he wasn’t supposed to be here right now.
You raise your head up and sit back, situating yourself so you’re halfway facing him while still being tucked into his side.
“You’re not supposed to be here right now.”
Nico moves his head back and looks at you like you’re crazy.
“What?” he says through a chuckle, amused at how random you words were.
“I mean, you’re supposed to be at the charity game right now. You called me during the first intermission, you should be playing in the third period by now,” you explain your outburst.
Nico laughs, shaking his head. “For a second I got worried you were about to kick me out, Schatz.”
“Nico, I’m being serious,” you roll your eyes. “Why did you leave the game early? Is everything okay at the rink? Did the storm damage something?”
Nico looks over at you, a fond smile on his face.
“Have I told you how pretty you look today?” is all he says in response, bringing a finger up to stroke from your temple down to your chin.
You move your head away from his hand and scoff, annoyed at his avoidance.
“Nico…” you warn.
He sighs, knowing you’re not going to be happy with his answer.
“I left early.”
“You…left early?” you parrot his words back to him, unimpressed.
“Yes, I left early. I told them there was an emergency here and I needed to get home to you, so I left,” he explains, shrugging like it wasn’t a big deal. “It was just a charity game, anyways. We were playing against our own guys, not like it was anything they couldn’t do without me.”
You fully remove yourself from him and sit back on your heels. He frowns at the loss of contact as he readjusts himself to sit up straighter.
“Nico, you can’t just leave a game like that!” you scold him. “Think about how excited those kids were to see you play tonight. The fact that it was a charity game should have made it even more important.”
You cross your arms, glaring at him for how bad this could make him look.
“Y/N, you were here, alone, during a raging storm. When I called, I could feel how scared you were through the phone. I knew as soon as the lights flickered at the arena, I couldn’t leave you here by yourself,” he explained, his tone leaving no room for argument.
You argued anyways.
“Nico, think about how bad this could make you look. ‘Devils captain leaves charity game early because his girlfriend is a scaredy-cat and can’t stay by herself during a silly little thunderstorm’” you put on your best sportscaster voice for the last sentence.
It was Nico’s turn to roll his eyes at you, shaking his head at your words.
“First of all, don’t count on a job with ESPN anytime soon,” you swat at his chest. “Second of all, I appreciate your concern about my image and my job, but I don’t care.”
“You should! You should care, Nico. You’re the captain. You need to care more than anyone else,” you cry out at him.
Nico grabs your hands in midair as you wave them around to emphasize your words.
“Schatz, I. Don’t. Care.” He pauses, trying to let the words sink in. “You know why I don’t care? Because you will always come first, do you hear me?”
Your mouth snaps shut, the intensity of the way he’s looking at you making you still.
“My job is just a game. It will always be just a game. A game that I’m thankful that I get to play every day, don’t get me wrong, but at the end of every day, it’s just a game.” He pauses again, making sure you understand him.
You don’t even flinch at the thunder that rings out around you, too caught up in the moment that’s happening between you and Nico right now.
“You, my pretty girl, are not a game. You’re the absolute best thing that has ever, and will ever, happen to me. You’re the biggest priority in my life, not hockey. I could quit hockey tomorrow and be just fine as long as I still have you to come home to every day. You’re the one thing I can’t lose. So yeah, I don’t care if I’m missing a scrimmage right now. They don’t need me. You did. So, here I am, exactly where I’m ‘supposed to be’” he mocks your earlier statement.
By the end of his speech you have tears in your eyes, not because of the storm this time.
You smile at him, an emotional tear slipping down your cheek, Nico’s hand reach out to wipe it away before you could wiggle one of your own from his hold.
“I love you, you know that?” you tell him, leaning your cheek into his open palm. “But you’re still stupid for leaving the game early,” you add at the end.
“Love you more, Schatz. Always.” He responds with a slight chuckle, ignoring the second part of what you said, bringing your face to his.
Your lips meet in a sweet, loving kiss. You rest your foreheads against one another before Nico pulls back, dropping his hand from your face.
“Now, I do believe we have some powerless entertainment to partake in,” he tells you, wiggling his eyebrows at your suggestively.
You lean in towards him once again, cocking an eyebrow. “Oh yeah?”
“Oh…Yeah” he leans back in, his hot breath fanning on your face with his words.
You catch his arm moving out of the corner of your eye, not wanting to remove your gaze from his face to find out what he was doing.
The staring contest the two of you had going on was starting to make you squirm when you hear a click ring out from in-between your bodies, light erupting through what little space is there.
You look down to see one of the flashlights from earlier in his hand, a cheeky grin on his face. Looking back up, you give him a confused look.
“It’s time for shadow puppets!” he excitedly bursts, moving the flashlight to shine on the wall, holding up his pointer and middle fingers to make a shadow bunny on the wall.
You burst out into belly laughs, body falling over his, head landing in his lap.
“C’mon, now, get up, its your turn,” he sits you up, handing you the flashlight.
As you look over at Nico, an expectant look on his face, you suddenly don’t care if it storms all night and the power never comes back on. As long as Nico’s with you, nothing could ruin the happiness running through your veins in this moment.

I had this interesting scenario where Vox one day becomes exhausted from his rivalry with Alastor after realizing that the one-sided interactions were becoming old. He later meets the reader (who can also be a part of the hotel) who starts hacking into Voxtech's database to troll the company for shits and giggles. This catches Vox's attention and he's pissed about it. You can do what you want for the rest but they continue to have this rivalry to the point where it's very well known around hell. From an outside perspective, there is just back-and-forth angry banter but there are moments where they're just;
Reader: *appears on screen* Hey Box head, guess who found some good blackmail with your name on it- Vox: *Is so close to having a breakdown, he had a bad week.* Reader: Oh shit- did something happen, are you okay? 😰
They hate each other but they don't hate hate each other. This can be taken as platonic or romantic. I sent this request to someone else but I wanted to share anyway.
Vox x troll/hacker reader: Why So Blue? (Oneshot/concept version)
Why So Blue fic Masterlist
A/N me when I get to write Vox getting utterly humiliated by a troll-y hacker demon 🫶
I changed about the order of stuff as things happen a bit and took creative liberties with this one - sorry if it's really different then the thought you originally had.
(REQUESTS ARE CLOSED, THIS WAS FROM THE LAST TIME THEY WERE OPEN)
Update: This was really well-received, and several people have requested a part 2. I've decided that I will be writing it properly from the start in a proper chapter kind of way rather than in this format so it makes continuity kind of work better rather then the drabbl-y format used here.
Cw: SFW, romantic, enemy's to lovers type beat, references to one-sided radiostatic, also references to staticmoth, mildly suggestive in one part 💀, gn reader, mostly light-hearted - idk if it qualifies as quite hurt/comfort lmao
Tumblr media
- It was just a normal morning for Vox when you first showed up.
- As usual, he booted up for the day, got changed out of his casual clothes, and made his morning coffee.
- As he walked into his computer room, absentmindedly sipping his coffee while looking at his phone, he sits down in his desk.
- Then promptly spits out his mouthful.
- When he finally looks up at the screens around him, he's mortified to see a muted video of himself passionately (and very drunkly) singing and dancing horribly from last night while he was out with Valentino and Velvette.
- Posted on Sinstagram from his own account.
- Hundreds of comments flooded in underneath it; laughing, saying it's cute, complimenting his singing, and talking about the caption underneath with curiosity.
- The caption reads; 'For someone who talks so big about being ahead technologically, it was awfully easy to hack old Boxy here LMAO'
- Vox flips out instantly.
- It doesn't take long to take down the post, change all of his details, and post an official apology for his lack of professionalism with a hypnotising message to forget the whole incident occurred at all. He also does a massive comb over for any other breaches and changes all of his systems to be even more impenetrable to a potional attack.
- He calms down, and the incident fades away to the back of his mind.
- But then it happens again.
- Another morning, an employee is rushing into his studio as he wakes up properly, telling him this time that someone is somehow broadcasting Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up' to the entirety of hell at 6 am, interrupting every one of the scheduled programs.
- There's a message in big letters on the bottom of every screen in hell, under the god forsaken video and song playing, saying, "What is love~? - U" Underneath them.
- And that's how it starts, the infuriating thorn in Vox's side that is 'U'. No matter how hard he tries, you're constantly undermining his efforts to keep you out of the system and tormenting him in ways that aren't necessarily malignant but are extremely damaging to his image as the overlord of technology.
- For some reason, he's the only Vee you seem hellbent on coming after as well. Vel finds your pranks funny or cute when they don't inconvenience her, and Valentino just likes to prod Vox into getting angrier further.
- He just cannot work out what your motivations are at all. Is it truly that you just want to piss him off? He doesn't understand why someone with such clear skills would simply use them to taunt him and leave him messages to unveil as he undoes whatever you do.
- It vexes him even farther when these messages from you that you leave for him to decode start to sound borderline flirtatious, which makes him feel all the more humiliated.
- He is a grown demon, skilled businessman and entrepreneur, an overlord, and yet you insist upon calling him things like Box, Boxbabe, Boxbitch, and even babygirl of all things for some goddamn reason.
- The back and forth goes on for months, and 'U' quickly becomes a long lasting meme, several people, much to Vox's horror, shipping you two together and even partaking in ship wars as to whether Vox x 'U' is better then Vox x Val.
- Theres one day where Vox quickly puts his phone down after reading a rather concerning expert from what is certainly explicit fanfiction between the two of you, even him deciding that that's enough internet for today while just sitting staring off into space silently for a solid 10 seconds.
- Vox's sleepless nights pouring over his code to try and keep out your attacks, him glitching out whenever he finds infuriating messages left by you, etc. Begin to become routine and he just anticipates the consistent blows to his pride you give him at every turn.
- A weird, unconscious part of him deep down begins to enjoy your rivalry, almost wanting to see what punches you pull out next to disarm his constant losing battle to keep you out, but it gets squashed down the second he becomes aware of it.
- The rivalry is always at arms length, but sometimes he has to stop himself from replying with the same vaguely flirtatious tone you take on whenever he experiences a small win against you.
- He fights to make sure he doesn't have any potential of getting too into it.
- Things take a different turn, though, with the double blow of Alastor coming back and his on-off relationship with Valentino once again going up in flames.
- After stopping his usual monitoring of all things going on in hell online and in real life as picked up by his cameras, he presses his face into his hands with a long, exhausted groan as he fights crying.
- All the people he was actually interested in were as unrequited as per usual. He always tried so hard with Alastor, but as always, he never got anything but met with the clear reminder they would never be anything more.
- And, of course, any potential of anything more happening with Val was completely off the table. It would be stupid to even think about anything real with him.
- He shut his eyes, putting his screen on the desk in front of him.
- Was he just not worth it? Was that it?
- He startled when he heard the familiar crackle of the speakers coming to life around him. It was rare he ever heard your voice coming through his speakers, you usually preferring to just leave messages, however you decided to surprise him tonight apparently.
- Your blurred out face appears on the screens, only showing the lower half of your grinning face.
- "Oh Boooooxybooooy! I found some world-shattering cringey shit you did 2 months back, i-" You begin singing out, before stopping, seeing by his expression.
- Vox was trembling, looking as if he was about fall apart at any second. His monitor was dulled, red eyes half lidded with pixelated bags forming under them, his bottom lip slightly quivering around his sharp teeth.
- "What the- fuck- ....are you alright?" You asked unsurely.
- Vox finally snapped out of it, realising that you were here witnessing him in a way that was very much not something he wanted you of all people to see him in. His mask slid back on, but it was hardly convincing.
- "Of course it is. What the fuck do you wa-ant. I've got shit to do." He inwardly cursed as his voice glitched slightly. God fucking dammit why did you have to show up.
- He watched your lips on your mostly blurred out face slightly curl as you hummed, clearly not buying it.
- "You wanna stop with the lying bullshit and tell me the truth, Boxhead?" You somewhat chided him, your hand coming into sight as you leaned your cheek onto it. Vox let out a growling sound, going to spit some vitriol at you, but was cut off as you absentmindedly made your next comment.
"Felt you once again have a fit about the radio demon going online. Lights in my house and the houses out my windows started flashing and shit. Is it hi-" your brows shot up and eyes widened, this hidden behind the censorship as you watched Vox, leader of the Vees, your rival, let out a shuddering breath and actually start crying comically pixilated tears right before your eyes.
- Vox's claws gripped into his desk as he grit his teeth as he let out a gasping breath he fought to stifle. He was so goddamn exhausted that he just couldn't be assed to keep it all up anymore. It wasn't like you hadn't seen rather unsavoury things he'd been trying to hide anyways.
- "No shit it's about Alastor. It's always about him. Does it get you off knowing I can't get with the guy I have always wanted no matter how hard I try? There. Are you fucking happy now?" His voice cracks as he snarls the words out at you.
- You let out a long humming sound, as if thinking. "I mean, not really. I'd only be happy if you were this upset over me, not some old hazbin radio announcer who fell off years ago." You shrug with a slightly sad smile.
- Vox squinted at you, confused.
- "I mean, come on, I'm your rival too. Why neglect me so much in all this?" You press your bottom lip out in mock sadness, tone mocking again. Your words are true despite the joking tone however, it did bother you that he always seemed so much more ready to go running after the most obviously aroace man you think you had seen in your entire fucking life.
- Vox couldn't believe what he was hearing, hot embarrassment caused his monitor to start heating up a bit, painting animated flush over his cheeks. "Oh, stop taking the piss, U. Fuck off." He scoffed, rolling his eyes, looking to the side in irritation.
- You chuckle at him, shaking your head and causing the thing blurring your face to shake with it. "Is it really that hard to believe I'm into what we have going on here?" Your voice is still lined with the usual tone you take on with him, but much less so.
- Vox looks back at your blurred, smiling face incredulously. "Yes." He growled, blinking his tears away as he regained his composure a bit.
- You sigh heavily, rolling your eyes. "Ooookay, well, once you're done riding the coattails of a man who will never want you, come hit me up, Boxhead." You say through smiling lips, before abruptly pressing 'hang up' on the call so he didn't have time to actually respond.
- Vox sat in bewildered silence, not able to react properly as his brain felt as if it was working on low resolution comprehending what you just said.
- His face heated up the more he thought about it, heart beginning to hammer in his chest as he laughed in disbelief. No way. No fucking way.
- But you had said it.
- Despite his usual pessimistic nature, he allowed himself to actually believe it, chuckling.
- He looked over to his phone as a notification sound rang out to see a photo of himself presumably just now; flustered, eyes wide in disbelief and unfocused while staring off into space, a crooked grin on his face.
- It was captioned as follows; 'POV: local pathetic radio simp finds out other rival actually wants him'
- "FUCK." He yelled out in embarrassment, knocking out several of his monitors with a surge of electricity.

be my summer love - atsumu miya x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
wc: 2549
cw:  summer camp romance, college au (atsumu and reader are both master’s students), reader “hates” atsumu, descriptive, explicit unprotected sex. lightly edited so if there's mistakes, I'm sorry! based on a horny horny dream I had a few days ago. enjoy!
--
When you signed up to work at the summer camp your master’s program hosts every summer, you didn’t expect to be the only student in your program working there, but you hadn’t expected who would be your co-counselor.
Atsumu Miya is a second year student, like you, but you rarely see him. After your first year being stuck in classes with him, you’d begged your advisor to make sure you never had another class with him. Honestly, you were surprised they allowed people who acted like him into master’s programs at all, but alas you were not the department head so you can’t make those decisions.
You normally don’t mind over the top students, especially because you tend to be over excited at times too, but something about the way Atsumu would speak before raising his hand always got under your skin. Or when he’d interrupt you mid sentence when the professor had called on you. He could at least let you finish your sentence before arguing with you.
Despite asking for another co-counselor you were not granted one. Atsumu would be your partner for the next six weeks and you’d just have to bite your tongue and let it be.
The first three weeks go pretty smoothly, well, as smoothly as they can when you’re dealing with a man child and about twenty 10 year olds. Atsumu likes to bend the rules a little too far for your liking, making you feel uneasy. The safety of children is something you would never be reckless with. Not that you think he’s trying to intentionally get the kids into trouble, he’s just thoughtless with letting them play too rough, swim too far out and too late, and always letting them bring food back to the cabins when it’s an insect hazard amongst other things.
The one perk of being a counselor is the rules are a lot less strict for you, at least. At night you enjoy going to sit out on the dock, bathing in the sunlight and reading from your kindle. Except tonight you have bigger plans. You change into your red camp issued one piece swimsuit and walk down towards the docks.
All the children are supposed to be in bed, Atsumu is on night duty tonight to make sure of it. So you know the docks will be free to just you. Plus all the staff members have been leaving the night patrol to the counselors. The lake will be all yours to swim out for a moonlight dip.
As you approach the docks, you pass a few quiet cabins. You smile as you imagine all the sweet dreams of the campers since today was particularly interesting. The camp had a few local artists come and teach some painting lessons to the campers, which of course ended in a huge mess but with giant smiles and loud laughter.
Laughter that sounds an awful lot like what you’re hearing across the grassy field towards the docks. You squint your eyes to try and focus across the field and you notice about ten or so children and one giant male child hovering over them. Fuming, you run over to the kids and Atsumu who is leading them towards the dock.
“What do you think you’re doing?” You eye Atsumu, rage flowing through your veins.
“Run back to the cabins,” Atsumu sighs, waving the kids off. They throw their life vests off onto the grass, mumbling sorrys as they run back to their cabin. At least Atsumu had enough sense to make them wear life vests.
“Why on earth did you think the kids should be swimming out here at this time of night?” You place your hands on your hips, your tote bag shifting on your shoulder and hanging behind you.
“Aren’t you cute?” He sneers at you. “They would have been fine, I was right here with them and they’ve been begging to go night swimming since camp started.”
“It’s against the rules to be in the lake after dark,” you remind him, ignoring his arrogant attitude.
Earlier in the day you’d gotten into it with him regarding the lunch line. His campers all ran into the mess hall like wild animals, pushing and shoving to get to the trays. While there is no rule about lines for getting food, it makes everything go smoother and more efficiently when the campers get in line and then go through the buffet and salad bar in order.
Two days prior to that, Atsumu kept having the campers bring you notes with the different rules written on them since you’d left a rule book on his bed in the cabin. He wrote them all out individually and periodically throughout the day you received them back. Each time you’d glare at him and he'd make kissy faces to you or wave and laugh.
“You and these goddamn rules,” He starts picking up the life jackets and heading towards the shed where the kayaks and life vests are supposed to remain at night.
You pick up the remaining three vests, carrying them towards the shed. You toss them inside towards atsumu, hitting him in the back with one as you step inside the shed.
“Real nice of you, —--,” your name on his lips makes you roll your eyes.
“You’re lucky I helped. I could just go call the camp director and report you. Endangering children would look fantastic on your resume!”
He runs his fingers through his bleached hair. “I didn’t endanger anyone! To accuse me of that is absurd and you know it. Besides, what were you doing out here tonight?”
“I like to read on the dock at night when I can’t sleep.” You tell him, pulling your kindle out of your bag, but the corner of your towel slips out with it.
“Yeah, okay,” he laughs. “Looks like you had the same idea I had, and now you’re trying to act morally superior to me.”
“Morally superior?” You scoff and shove your things back in your bag, dropping it on the floor beside a yellow kayak. “What makes you thinkI even think about you at all? Let alone if I’m morally superior.”
He laughs, crossing his arms over his chest. “Sure, I totally believe that.”
“Whatever, I’m going to bed,” you turn, bending over and picking up your bag as you go. However, a hand catches your wrist as you reach for the doorknob. “Let go of me, Atsumu.” You glare at him.
“Tell me how you knew I’d be bringing the kids out here tonight. Are you going to report me?”
“No,” you shake your head. “I had no idea, I was coming out to read.”
“Then why are you wearing a bathing suit?” He asks, his right eyebrow arched. He snaps the strap of your swimsuit on your skin, making it sting.
“Shut up, leave me alone.” You can’t decide which to say, so both slip out.
“I think you wanted to come for a swim with me,” He smiles, leaving towards you. “All that so-called anger you have towards me isn’t really anger is it?”
“Oh here we go,” you drop your bag again. “Every girl just wants to spend time with you. Get over yourself.”
“Oh, I’m not that self absorbed. But I’m aware enough to notice how tense you are every time I speak to you, or in class before you changed your schedule. Why’d you do that? To avoid me?”
“Go to hell,” you push him, not thinking of anything but wanting him further away from you. However, when your hands make contact with his chest, he’s so firm he barely budges.
“Why do I bother you so much, —--? Why do you let me eat away at your mind?” He leans closer to you and you frown, but hold your position.
“Maybe it’s you who can’t get me off your mind, creep.” You snarkily say.
“So what if I can’t? I’m not the one fighting it.”
“I’m not fighting anything.”
“So, if I kiss you right now you won’t fight me? Not even a little?”
“Do you want me to put up a fight?”
“Maybe,” he shrugs. “It’s getting a bit boring with how easy it is anymore.”
You roll your eyes and part your lips to speak but you’re interrupted by Atsumu’s lips on your own. For a brief moment you let him kiss you, but then you press hard against his chest to push away. His hands grip your shoulders, making you stay still. He did want a fight, and it’s a fight he knows he can win.
His lips taste salty, like he’s been snacking on something recently. You begin to wonder what flavor of chips he likes but his tongue floods into your mouth reducing all thoughts you had before to dust. You dig your fingers into his chest, his white t-shirt crumpling under your fingers.
His teeth bite down on your bottom lip, eliciting a moan from you and he chuckles, a deep chesty one that vibrates against you. Running your hands down his chest, you reach the hem of his shirt, sliding your hands under it to feel his warm skin. He moves into your hands more, pressing flush against them.
Atsumu’s hands move from your shoulders to your waist, pulling you closer to him as he deepens the kiss, overwhelming all your senses. You give into him, why shouldn’t you? All this time all he’s done is get under skin and drive you insane. Why shouldn’t you let him please you now instead?
His fingers toy with the waistband of your cotton shorts, pushing them down your thighs. You’d shiver if it weren’t so goddamn warm in this shed.
“No fight left in you?” He asks against your lips.
“Shut up and take your clothes off.” You push him back and slip your shirt over your head.
When you look up, he’s down to just his swim shorts. You give yourself exactly five seconds to ogle his body. One, his chest where his oecs are formed oh so sweetly. Two, three, four, and why lie? Five as well, at his abs.
Thinking too quickly, you start to wonder where exactly this is going to happen? The floor is a mess with grass strands and dirt from the kids coming and going from this room for supplies. There’s no bed in here or even a counter surface available.
“Your towel,” he says thinking of the same thing you assume. “Lay it out.”
You dig it out of your bag and lay it out on the floor space that’s available, dropping to your knees and looking up to him. “I swear if you ever mention a word of this to anyone, I’ll destroy you.”
He smirks but nods. You pull his shorts down his thighs, watching as he watches you. He’s hard, so much bigger than you expected. Given, you never really gave him much thought before tonight, but still.
Wrapping your hand around his length, you look up at him as you part your lips and then close them around the head of his cock. He closes his eyes as your tongue makes contact with his skin, inhaling sharply and letting out a low moan. You’d grin if you didn’t have him in your mouth.
Then you take your time, slowly sucking and dragging your tongue along the length of him. Atsumu isn’t shy about letting you know what feels good. He even stiffens and asks for more when you use your hand in tandem with your lips on the head.
“Fuck, you’re going to drain the life out of me if you keep this up. Stand up.” He gently taps your cheeks and you let him fall from your mouth, and stand. He then drops to his knees, looking up at you with a wild look in his eye. “You might want to steady yourself,” he tells you and you roll your eyes.
Pulling your bathing suit aside, he attacks you with his tongue. He’s experienced, that much you can tell. You steady yourself on his shoulders and let out a lengthy moan. His tongue focuses on your clit and his fingers teasing your hole.
“Fuck,” you whimper as he slides a finger in, pumping in and out slowly.
He doesn’t stop as you whimper more, trying your best to not be too loud. Who knows if anyone is outside the shed on patrol, and you’re certain this is a fireable offense. However, the way he’s making you feel, you almost don’t care as long as you get to orgasm.
It’s not long before you’re feeling that familiar burn in your core, wanting to let go and cry out. You squeeze Atsumu’s shoulders and clench your thighs, whispering a few oh gods. You cum, stifling your cries and putting more weight onto Atsumu, but he doesn’t move or stop. He eats you out through your orgasm and slowly brings you back to reality with the last few movements of his fingers inside of you.
He pulls you down to the floor with him, kissing you deeply. You taste yourself on his lips and groan. He bites your bottom lip before pulling away. You want more, so much more of him and now. He must feel the same way because he’s looking at you like you’re the only person in the world.
You turn, knowing it won’t be comfortable to be fucked on your back on this old wooden flooring, even with the towel. You position yourself with your ass facing him, leaning forward on your arms and looking back to see him grinning.
He grabs your hips, pulling you against him as he grabs his cock and spits on your cunt. Not that you needed any more, you’re sure you’ve never been better prepped in your life, but the action makes you quiver.
When he’s inside of you, you lose all sense of time and space. He’s everything you desire and need. You bite so hard on your bottom lip to keep from crying out, you swear you taste the slightest bit of iron, wondering if you’re breaking skin. His fingers dig into your ass as he thrusts in and out of you.
Your elbows are starting to hurt from the weight being thrust into you and rubbing against the towel and rough floor, but you can’t focus on it with how much pleasure is washing through you. If anything, you’ll just deal with it tomorrow and say you fell and scraped up your skin if it gets too bad.
“-----,” your name is breathy on his lips. “I’m gonna cum,” he warns and you nod.
“Cum,” you tell him knowing you’re ready again.
Three hard thrusts and then he’s holding you tight against him as you clench around his cock. The warmth of his cum fills you and spills out onto your thighs as you move forward and sit down on the towel. Atsumu is leaning back on his heels as he looks at you with disbelief.
“That happened,” he laughs and you nod letting yourself laugh with him.
“Fuck,” you giggle. “What do we do now?”
“I don’t know. Wanna go for a swim?” He suggests and honestly, you don’t think it’s a bad idea.

Gym love/strangers to lovers
Fluff
Warnings: a spine tattoo, kissing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You are rather a really sporty person. You go to the gym every day at exactly 7 pm. It was the time when most people were done with the machines you wanted to use. You never changed your time program since if you went earlier, there would be many people, and if you went later, you wouldn't have much time before the gym closes.
Today, you had a pretty tough program, but you were determined to pull it through. You had a pretty fir body that you were proud of. You didn’t show it much, tho unless it got really hot in the gym or the exercise was really hard. You finished your program and don't even remember in which set you took off your shirt.
You grabbed your stuff and left the gym to go home, take a shower and relax.
Jay loved going to the gym. If he could he would live there. He had a body which looked like one a Greek god would have. He also went to the gym everyday but at 8pm, enjoying the pretty much loneliness of the gym.
Today was no different. He entered the gym at 8pm as per usual. He reached out to the machine he wanted to use for the night and just as he was about to start his set he laid his set he couldn't help but stare at a specific figure. It wasn’t the body that made him look but a small detail that he swore it could drive him crazy. The figure had a spine tattoo one so dmsimple yet so addictive. He took in every single part of it. He was memorizing it at this point. Only after he was done with the tattoo he noticed the body of that said figure. Honey skin, high ponytail with a cap on covering it's face. A fit body embraced by tight leggings and a matching sport's bra. He couldn't resist looking. He snapped out of his thoughts when the figure left but he just sat there replaying the whole scene.
During the whole workout he had that picture in his head. That spine tattoo was too hot to handle. He didn't even know the person or even if he would see them again. He finished his work out and headed back home seeking the comfort of his bed.
After that day he saw the figure plenty of times but again in the same way. Back turned towards him, spine tattoo on full display, face barely visible.
One day you were running like crazy. Paperwork, tasks, getting to places. Everything had to be on the same day unfortunately. Luckily you managed to finish everything on time and even had a bit of time for yourself. You looked at your phone to check the time. It was 7pm the time you usually went to the gym. You were debating on whether to go or stay at home. The gym won. You immediately changed into your gym clothes and went straight to it.
It was 8pm and there weren't many people there. Some huge dudes flexing their muscles at the mirrors and some just minding their own business. You were wearing simple black leggings that hugged your body and an oversized tee shirt on top putting your hair in a loose low ponytail.
Today was your worst day of your workout program. Weights. And specially everything that had to do with the bench. You wanted to go and do legs but you stich to the program. Even if you were whining about how you couldn’t even bench press you could lift a lot of weight. Usually you had one of your gym friends help you with it but today you were alone. You looked around the gym in order to see someone that would be willing to help you. Scanning the gym your eyes landed on a guy pretty much the same age as you pretty good looking if you had to admit. You stood up and decided to ask his help.
You went up to him and it was obvious he had finished a tough set. Toned body that you could see through his compression shirt. Sharp jaw followed by sharp eyes. He looked like a nice guy even if his appearance said otherwise.
"Umm hello. Sorry for interrupting your workout but is there any chance you could spot me on the weights?" You said trying to sound normal as much as you could. You didn’t talk to hot guys everyday.
"Umm hello. Sorry for interrupting your workout but is there any chance you could spot me on the weights?" Jay heard a voice. It was sweet like melody to his ears. Looking up he saw an insanely good looking girl. She had a sweet smile and shining eyes. He was stunned. And what did she say? Something about spotting her? He was too shocked to understand what she had just said. He snapped out once she cleared her throat. Giving a sweet smile.
Once he smiled you melted. You just stared at him trying to find your words.
"Yeah, sure, gladly." Jay cursed in his mind for sounding too taken aback.
Once you both reached the bench, you positioned yourself and turned to him, grinning. "Please don't let me die." He laughed, you paused. 'Cute~', you thought. "I'll try my best to keep you alive," he continued your joke. The air was really warm and comfortable. You started your set, and Jay was a really good spotter. He even encouraged you to continue.
"I'm Jay by the way" he said once you finished the first set extending his hand for a handshake. "Y/n" You said trying not to blush at the contact of your hands.
The rest of the workout went really well. Jay also continued working out with you his own program long forgotten. He wanted to be close to you and he managed to do it perfectly. You cracked jokes and had a really nice time hanging out together. You never understood how the time went by so fast. You bid your goodbyes and left for your homes.
You got home and couldn't help but smile. You thought of his face and how you had fun. That's when it hit. You had a gym crush! Your eyes widened. It was just a small gym crush...right? You tried not to think about it but a mischevious idea came to your mind.
You were gonna change the time you went to the gym!
You internally cursed at the impact this 'small' crush had on you but you liked the idea of spending more time with him.
Jay crushed on the couch. How ironic. At this point he wasn’t only crushing on the couch but he was crushing on you! He found a gym crush and didn't complain about it. You were really pretty but most of all you seemed a really nice person. He wanted the other day to come so badly and hoped to see you at the gym again. He hadn't seen you before and that's what scared him and got him hoping for you to be there again the same time tomorrow.
Changing your gym time was the best thing you could have done! You and Jay hang out together every day, swapping phone numbers in case of 'emergency' as he said. You both developed huge gym crushes at this point.
It was about 3 weeks of working out together, and it was starting to get hot. Summer was around the corner, and the temperatures were rising more and more every day.
You went to the gym as per usual only to find Jay in a tank top, which made you stare. That was so not Jay coded. Yes, he wore tight shirts but tank tops? Never. And man, was he hot. You blinked and approached him. Once he saw you, he gave you his smile that you adored. You couldn’t help but smile back.
"Well, hello, my rival." it was a nickname you both used. You challenged each other as to who could lift the most. He always won, of course, but you never stopped teasing him about you being better. It was a daily routine now.
"Hello to you too. Are you ready to lose against me today again?" You said as a playful smirk grew on your face. He smirked back. 'Oh god' you thought.
"I'm so ready to watch you lose..."
"Ha! You wish! I'm gonna win just like every single time"
"We'll see about that..."
The workout was intense, and the heat wasn't helping at all. You put your hair up in a high ponytail because you were getting extra warm. Jay noticed this and stared at you. For some reason, he found it really hot, but his thoughts were harshly stopped when he saw something a bit lower than the back of your neck, your spine almost. You turned to him and took him to the next machine. What was that, tho? Maybe a tag from your shirt. Yeah, that must be it. After a bit, he didn't think much of it. Well, until the last machine stop... The rowing machine...
Jay was confident about it. He sat down and took the bar in his hands, bragging about how he was winning.
"As you can see, it's already the first set, and I'm obviously winning!" He grinned
You chuckled, and your rivalry spirit was turned on. It was your turn now.
"Well, let's do it the right way then"
He was confused. What did you mean by that?
As you were about to go to the machine, you took a hold of the hem of your shirt, taking it off, revealing your fit body. Jay's mouth fell right open. He looked at every part of your body. You were like you had been kissed by the sun, and he was getting jealous about it being able to kiss you. You saw his reaction and giggled. "You like what you see?" "Yeah" he didn't think. The words just came out of his mouth, his hand covering it really quickly. You couldn’t help but laugh at his words.
Little did he know that your body reveal wouldn't be his biggest surprise...
You turned your back at him, and you were about to start your exercise. But then you heard a loud gasp coming from behind you. You quickly turned around only to be met by a wide-eyed Jay.
"Umm are you okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost"
"It's you"
"Huh?"
"It's you!"
"What's me?" You were getting confused
"The girl with the tattoo"
"The girl with the what now?"
"You are the girl I was staring at!"
"Ughhh creepy but okay...Jay are you sure you're good?"
"I'm totally fine! You! You used to leave the gym at 8pm didn’t you?"
"You mean before we met? Yeah, I came at 7 and left at 8, but I still don't understand what you're talking about"
"It was really you! Before I met you, there was this girl, well you, with a spine tattoo that drove me crazy. She would leave at the time I came and I never saw her face properly. It was you, tho!" He was almost jumping up and sown from excitement.
"You mean that you had a crush on my spine tattoo " you teased him.
"Yeah! Wait, no! Well...kinda...Ughhhh, it's complicated!"
You laughed again, this time stepping closer.
"I guess I had a chokehold on you, huh?"
"You still do." He blurred out, covering his mouth again at the sudden confession
"Oh...I still do because of myself or... because of this?" You turned your back at him, and he almost died on the spot.
"You-yourself. The tat-tattoo just makes you extra hot. " At this point, he wasn't thinking properly. He just said whatever he was thinking without a filter. He was as red as a tomato and so cute.
"You're really cute." You said, making him even redder if that was even possible. You liked how you were controlling him. Stepping even closer now, you put your hands around his neck. He froze.
"You know except from you cute you are also very handsome and...hot..."
Something clicked inside him. He was no longer shy. A wave of boldness took over him.
"Hot?" He was smirking now. Your eyes widened at his sudden change. He rested his hands on his waist, and you were the one now to blush.
"Why are you blushing? Now you're shy? First, you take off your shirt in front of me, show your tattoo, and you're getting shy by a little contact?" He chuckled.
He took his hand from your waist and traced down your spine with his fingers, which made you shiver under his touch.
"I guess you're not the only one having an impact on me." You shook your head, and he slowly leaned down and cupped your lips in his.
"Wanted this in a while now"
"Me too." You smiled up at him as he leaned for another kiss.
After than night you continued going to the gym together but not as 'rivals' but as a couple. He was a really sweet and caring boyfriend. Addicted to you in every way possible and so were you.

Levi and his squad discover that Zeke is still alive, in such weird circumstances.
tw: non, just a silly fic jjj
wc: 1,130
a/n: guys, I have to admit i’ve always been a zeke fucker 💀😩
Tumblr media
Levi and his squad somehow discovered that Zeke was alive.
Thinking it might be impossible due the circumstances and because Levi remembered so vividly how he dismembered his head, they couldn’t also discard the possibility — he could regrow his head again, or getting it back again like Eren did.
Thanks to the rumors of the few villages that weren’t affected by the Rumbling — who even denied such an event existed — or better said a description that easily fit into Zeke’s profile, they were walking towards a remote part of the area into the woods, where a big cabin stood out among the mass of trees that surrounded it. It was logical if he had escaped in a place like this, where he couldn’t be recognized so easily — to an ignorant town where people wouldn’t even know what the warrior program was.
“It is a little retired. I’m not surprised, Zeke always knew how to hide so well.” Tired, Pieck said, letting out a sigh.
“Probably doesn’t want to be bothered.” Connie was kicking one of the rocks that were on the floor and walking non-chalantly with his hands in his pocket.
“It seems that you didn’t let him rest in peace, Levi.” Annie sarcastically commented looking at Levi.
“Such a shame I can’t stand up from this damned chair to kick your asses.” Levi roared with seriousness. “I just wanna make sure this fucking monkey man is not planning to do something. Whatever conversation you had with him, Armin, I don’t think you could’ve easily change his mind.”
“I’m not justifying him, but at the end he helped us to stop the Rumbling. Besides, I don’t think he can do anything right now, more less now that Titans don’t exist anymore and his real blood can’t affect us in any way.” Armin argued neutrally about the situation.
“In my honest opinion, it was better to let him live with the guilt of all the stuff he did, right, Mikasa?” Jean cheered her partner, who was walking looking at the green grass, not even in the mood to reply to the joke of her companion and ignoring him in the process.
“Well, we’re here, now what?” Mikasa spit out, giving little circles to the floor and giving a look to the hut in front of them.
“We should knock on the door, Mikasa. It seems that you need to touch some grass time per time…” Connie turned at her as he was, in fact, knocking the door, as if it was normal for them to find out one of their enemies survived an entire catastrophe.
“What an asshole you are...” Reiner mumbled with crossed arms.
“Oh, come on, Reiner...” Connie was a about to give a full answer to Reiner, but it was interrupted.
“Comming…” A femenine voice replied to the knock of the door at the other side of the cabin.
Everyone gazed at each other, checking if they had not been the only ones who perceived that it was indeed a sweet voice.
Then, their suspects were confirmed when you opened the door, watching all the bunch of numerous strangers who seemed confused when they saw you for the first time.
“Oh, good afternoon…” You replied to them, not having enough time to complete your salute because your little children were running all through the house and they almost made you fall.
“Wow, wow, you kids better be careful.” Your husband scolded them, appearing from behind you before watching to those strangers, who in fact, weren’t at all strange to your husband.
“Sorry, daddy.” One of your daughters turns for a while at Zeke, then gets back to her kid’s stuff with her younger brother and still playing all around your house.
“Did he said…?” Connie blurted out empty words in surprise at who they were referring to, pointing inside the house.
Everyone stared to the Zeke of flesh and bone to which they referred so much. The blonde man’s expression faded into surprise and somehow fear to all the squad and all of them were gazing at him with confusion. Everyone looked at each other so deeply you could feel the tension being cutted with a knife.
“Darling, you know all these people?” Now you were the one who gazed at you husband sigh certain confusion.
Your voice turned everyone to reality. Zeke, shaking his head, decided to give a logical answer, going back to his normal self.
“Oh, yes, sweetheart. They are some friends who… I haven’t seen for a long time.”
“You could’ve started from there!” You replied thrilled. “Nice to meet you everyone, my name is Y/N and I'm Zeke's wife,” You shook everyone’s hands in a warm and friendly way. Even if everyone was still pretty shocked with this new revelation, tried to return the greeting the best they could, included Levi, who couldn’t believed Zeke dared to get married with such beautiful woman, “I am very sorry to receive you in this way, but we were already finishing cleaning day.”
“Oh… don’t worry, we weren’t planning to be here much time.” Pieck returned the same kindness to you, staring at Zeke with bewilderment.
“Nonsense, sweety. I was about to cook dinner anyway and I imagine you guys had a long trip to reach us here, so I insist. Any friend of my husband is a friend of mine.” You assured with a sweet voice tone, which made everyone feel trapped into not deny such kindness.
“Uh, well... We appreciate the hospitality, we’ll gladly stay.” Connie replied instantly scratching his head, not even letting any of them all deny again the purpose. They all looked at him angrily, but he didn’t care because he was already hungry.
“Great,” You joined the palms of your hands, “I will make dinner, honey. You can come to help me later. I bet you have a lot to talk about with your friends, so I’ll let you chit chat with them.” You goodbyed him with a kiss on the cheek and closed the door behind you.
“Well, well… It seems that the guy who wanted to sterilize us so as not to bring suffering to the world anymore even has his own family.” Jean mocked the situation while everyone remained serious. The crying of a baby sounded out of nowhere, marking the irony of the matter.
“It seems like you couldn’t wait to have fun all by yourself.” Pieck remarked Jean’s comment.
“Zeke, the baby woke up, can you please take him with you?” You shouted from afar and Zeke was already figuring out how to come out of this recent nightmare — which was worse to put his kid to sleep again.
“So he has kids...” Annie taunted while crossing her arms, letting out a faint “huh”

MC Replaced AU
My first tumblr fic so please let me know if there is something I can do better or fix!! I will get better with time but I would love some advice! This will start like an average replaced AU but it will have a twist that I haven’t seen in any other fic
The first part is third person but it won’t remain that way! Also it is male MC (there aren’t enough male MC fics out there and it makes me sad)
TW: None for this one except some REALLY minor angst at the end!
Part 1
———————————————————————————
Welcome to the Devildom
A normal day, as normal as a day can be in the Devildom, the only slightly different thing was a meeting with Lord Diavolo scheduled for the first period at RAD.
“Do we all have to go to this meeting? Can’t MC just give me the rundown after school?”
“No Leviathan, Lord Diavolo made it clear we all have to be there.” Lucifer shoots a glare at the sulking envy demon. A mandatory meeting that required not only all the brothers to attend but also the exchange students, it must be something relatively important to require all the attendees.
The walk to RAD was average, mammon talking to MC, Satan reading as he walked and getting distracted by any stay cats he saw on the way, Leviathan playing a game on his phone, and Beel chowing down on some extra snacks.
Barbatos greeted the group at the door, welcoming them into the Student Council room where the angels already waited
“Hello everyone! I’m glad to see you all made it! I have a very special announcement to make today” As Diavolo started MC tilted his head
“I’m sorry to interrupt but you said we all made it but… Solomon isn’t here?”
“Solomon had business in the human world so he has returned for a few months and won’t be attending this years exchange program” Barbatos explained
“It is unfortunate but there is nothing we can do about it, work is work!” The lord gave his normal, joyful smile as he spoke “His absence does bring some good news though! We have accepted a new human exchange student!” As if purposely timed, a portal opened up and out shot a human girl, immediately MC noticed just how beautiful she was, long blonde hair, a perfect slim body, and the most beautiful blue eyes MC had ever seen.
“Where am I? Who are all of you!?” She looked around frantically, her eyes landing on MC, quickly running over to him “You look normal! What’s going on? Where am I!?” Her arms flung around MC, hiding from the demons
“Haha, please calm down hun, your not in any danger” MC smiled, trying to reassure the new girl
“I’m am glad you already seem to trust MC!” Diavolo laughs, crossing his arms “Welcome Amelia, to the Devildom, you have been chosen to participate in our exchange program at RAD. I am Diavolo, the prince of the Devildom, it is a pleasure to meet you” The new human, Amelia, seemed to relax a slight bit, enough to come out from hiding behind MC but still tightly grasping his hand
“Is this… hell? Are you all demons?”
“Technically, yes, this is hell and yes, we are demons” Lucifers replies, his presence intimidating as ever
“MC, Amelia will be staying in the House of Lamentation with you for the time being, keeping her with you may help her get accustomed to living here quicker, do you mind sharing a room with her?” Diavolo asked, but MC knew it wasn’t really a question, there was no answer other than yes
“Sure, I don’t mind, my room is definitely big enough for both of us” MC smiled, glancing over to see if Amelia was okay with this arrangement, by the small smile in her face it seemed she was content
“MC, Mammon, I want the two of you to show Amelia around and get her used to RAD and the House of Lamentation” Lucifer said, looking back and forth between Mammon and MC
“What? Why me!? Can’t MC do it alone? They have been here for like… two years! They know the place well enough!” Mammon complained, not really wanting anything to do with the new girl, he had MC! Why would he need another human?
The tour went… well
Amelia really likes Mammon
And it seems like he likes her a lot too.

Vibe Check
Part 14: Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy
Also on Ao3 here and tumblr here
Tumblr media
Steve can feel Robin getting bored with him. She’s been braiding some of her bangs together at the center of her forehead like a little tail.
The trouble is Steve just doesn’t know how to stop.
“And obviously, I can’t say anything! Billy’s dad was super awful to him and he’s only out to like three people. I don’t wanna break the gay guy bro code-”
“Gay guy bro code is so the name of a porn,” Robin says, tugging at the little useless thing until it came undone.
“Because I broke the whole like… circle of his trust by kissing him and turning into a creep!” Steve doesn’t even break stride in his pacing for her interruption, and Robin’s dorm was small, so pacing wasn’t easy.
“You’re not a creep, he already said that,” She mumbles.
He flops down next to her on the bed. “But like… even though I know I don’t have a shot. I keep thinking… do I have a shot?”
Robin opens her mouth.
“Because Billy’s really and honestly my best-” Steve cut out when Robin put her hand over his mouth. At least it smelled pleasantly of her shampoo not nasty, like Billy’s hand normally did.
Christ, Steve had missed him.
“There. Jeez. I can finally hear myself think,” Robin says. “Will you please chill out just a little?”
Steve has to think about it but he eventually nods.
“I am loathe to admit it because we did so much work in your ‘get over a straight crush’ twelve step program but…” she sighs, “this could mean you have a shot.”
“You think?”
“I mean, he’s gay. And you’re best friends. Weirdly touchy best friends. Clearly the kiss didn’t completely repulse him.” She nods once, decisively. “I don’t know about this Jason guy but he confided in you and came out to you. That’s huge.”
Steve nods eagerly, opening his mouth again. She quickly clamps her hand down over his mouth again.
“Now what we need to be thinking is not is this possible but how do we make this possible,” Robin shook her head.
Steve pries Robin’s hand free, “ok. How do we do that?”
She stands up with energy, pacing a little, her hair bouncing. Steve is really glad at this moment that Robin’s roommate was always at her boyfrien’s. He sits on Robin’s pink ruffled bedspread, toying nervously with one of the worn edges. Robin hated the thing, because it was a hand-me-down from her big sister, but Steve likes playing with it. Besides, it formed a contrast with the rest of Robin’s decor, and Robin herself. And there was something kind of charming about it. She turns to him, heavily lined eyes widening.
“Yeah?” He sits up straighter.
She slumps. “I’ve got nothing. This is uncharted territory. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I get a vibe from Billy. But I assumed it was latent bisexuality he was going to repress until he developed an ulcer in middle age after you two went on a bros fishing trip.”
Steve’s somach sinks and he deflates into the bed. “Oddly specific.”
“What I mean is this never happens. Normally straight crushes only end in heartbrak.” She shakes her head. “Do you have any idea how rare this is?”
“Obviously not, I only realized about myself like a few weeks ago.”
“Well, it’s a big deal. It also means I have no idea what to do.” She huffs. “I’ve failed you as a gay sensai.”
“No, no, you haven’t. I mean without you I probably would have developed that ulcer.” Steve stands and takes her hands. “You will always be my gay sensai.”
“You’re right. How could I have doubted myself?” She closes her eyes and then opens them, staring into Steve’s very soul. “Sorry, I got lost in the magnitude of it. He’s gay!”
Steve breaks into a giddy grin. “I know.”
“You have a shot.”
“You really think so?”
“Steve, for like two years I thought you and him were all shacked up. What can this Jason guy have that you don’t?” Robin’s blue gaze is so sincere it almost makes Steve want to cry.
“I dunno. He’s pretty hot. He’s like super buff with a great ass, and he’s kind of mouthy, like Billy, so…”
“How did you not know you were bi. It boggles the mind. But anyway, you’re hot stuff too, Mr. Thigh Kappa-”
“Theta Pi-”
“Whatever. Billy just needs a little nudge. You’re gonna be like Brittany and Santana.” Robin’s nodding with herself like she’s agreeing with something.
“Who?”
“Oh my sweet summer child. It’s like… friends to lovers, ok? We just have to show you in a new light,” She waves a hand over Steve’s t-shirt and sweatshorts. “Make him see you as more than a friend.”
“I did kiss him,” Steve reminds her, stepping back a little because the eye contact was getting a bit too much.
“Exactly. We’re off to a great start. Now he knows you’re bi, he’s already seeing you in a new way. The time to strike is now!”
“Okay,” Steve nods, then shakes his head then nods again. “But what if Jason likes him back?”
“Then we hope you’ve already gotten Billy’s attention,” She claps her hands together. “That’s why we need to move fast. Strike while the iron is hot. Billy said he wanted to break Jason and his boyfriend up, right?”
“Right.”
“So I say, you try and get them all out together so you can gague how Jason feels about Billy.” Robin says.
“And the boyfriend too. Maybe it’ll actually work in my favor.”
Robin grins. “Yes, exactly. Phase 1: scope out the enemy. After that we move on to, Phase 2-”
“Seduction.” Steve looks down at his shoes. “Damn, you really are the sensai.”
“I know, I’m like cobra kai over here. What is it? Punch fast, no breaks, no mercy.” Robin’s head is bobbing like a bobblehead. “This can work.”
Steve beams, “this can work.
“Totally. And besides I’m pretty sure making moves on your friends is like actually the gay guy bro code.”
“Wait, really?”
Robin sighs, rolling her eyes dramatically. “This is why I wanted you to go to a gay bar. Hookup culture. You’re basing all your gay knowledge on like… homoerotic moments on Friday Night Lights.”
“But I don’t want to just hook up with him. I wanna like… date him.” Steve looked at his hands. “Like I wanna take him out and bring him flowers.”
She squints at him, “ok, well, you do that to a closeted guy at your own risk, ok?”
“What do you mean?”
She looks at her poster of 1971’s Klute like she’s praying to Jane Fonda to help her though this. “Like you are right that you have to step a little careful. Billy just came out to you and it sounds like you can’t exactly show up with flowers to the frat house without him probably punching you.”
Steve makes a stifled sound. “I wou- the flowers are more of a metaphor. I mean I don’t just want to be a hookup.”
“Yes, I know. I’ve heard many times about how you want to stand in the thunderstorm and let it drown you. And so had everyone else in editing 102.” She nods, pacing a few steps and rubbing her fuzzy green socks into the flat dorm carpet.
Steve squirms a little, turning away and looking sightlessly at the things on Robin’s desk. “No, that wasn’t about Billy-”
“Shh… a plan is forming.” He looks, and she’s holding a hand up. “How did you and Nancy start dating?”
“I flirted with her at a few parties, and we hooked up. And then I put on my charm,” Steve starts, jolting when Robin grabs his arm.
“And Heidi from Winter’s lecture? Didn’t you say you dated?”
Steve scratches his temple. “We hooked up when a couple of us went to see In the Mood for Love. And then we started texting, and I put on the charm… but, I-”
“Exactly. Ok. Ok. Here’s the plan.” Robin tugs on his arm until they’re both flopped on the bed. “You agree to help with the Jason thing, scope everything out. And then while we’re there, just… like make out with someone. With Jason if you can.”
“What? In front of Billy?”
“Yes, Grandma. Listen. I’ll be there, I’ll watch Billy’s reaction. But it will do two things. First, Billy’s gonna see that you’re open to hooking up. So the kiss won’t seem so much like a repressed love confession.”
Steve can only shrug, because it totally was.
“And then you can start hooking up with Billy,” She smiles, even as she’s digging her blue fingernails into his arm.
Steve’s face is getting hot and his stomach flip flops. “But I don’t want him to get the-”
“Wrong idea, I know. But if you start with the lovey dovey confession and Jason’s around he’ll fully freak and think you both have to like come out to the house and be together right away. How do you think he’s gonna react to that?”
“Ok, that’s fair.” Steve wasn’t sure if he wanted to hope but his heart rose in his chest regardless.
“Once you’re hooking up you can just slowwwwly put on the charm. Ease him into it,” Robin circles a hand in the air. “And then you can find out the best ways to sneak around, and figure it out and then oopsie it’s been months and Jason? Who’s that?”
Steve bites his lip, nodding slightly.
“What? What’s wrong?”
“Just nervous. What if Billy doesn’t fall for my charm? He knows what it looks like.”
“Duh. You dazzle him with your dick, Steve.”
“But I’ve never hooked up with a guy!” Steve cries.
“That’s why a friend would be a perfect first hook up. Trust me. He won’t know what’s happening. You’ll be like I dunno how teach me how to give a blowjob. We’ll distract him with your wiles,” She flings her arm towards Steve’s body with all the enthusiasm as if she was pointing at a dead spider.
Steve kneeded his lip between his teeth. He should take more time to think it through. But his head swirled with ‘what if’s,’ while his heart was storming with wild runaway wishes and hopes. He could turn hooking up into a relationship. He knew he could.
But the stakes had just never been so high before.
Robin nods like she can read his mind. It always feels like she can. “Ask him to go out. Baby steps. And don’t worry, your gay sensai will be with you every step of the way.”

Absolutely LOVED reading A Long Walk, and now I'm curious: what's turning back on after 'passing out' like for Four?
Hello! :) this was meant to just be an answer but it turned into a little fic... It isn't long! Less than 1k.
---
It's slow.
Four did not give the command to shut down as he usually does, so his programs treat this as an emergency and prioritize waking up Green first.
Green becomes conscious alone. He wakes up to detailed diagnostic reports that tell him exactly what's wrong—and it's... a lot more than he wishes it was. There's external damage, of course, some stress damage, some emergency-shifted mechanisms that will be a pain to sort out, and of course there's the battery situation. In the interest of efficiency (delaying the inevitable), Green chooses to delay start-up procedures while the battery charges to full.
When the start-up begins in earnest, the rest of Four joins Green, and he returns to normal function—mentally, at least. He opens his eyes to see his room aboard the Epona, then sits up and attempts to pull the charging cable from the back of his neck. His arms move, but his hands are immobile. He'd forgotten. He pulls them back around and stares at the bandages wrapped and tied carefully around each finger.
There's love in those knots. Even Four can tell.
...that doesn't make the nonfunction of his hands any less frustrating, though.
"I didn't want them to get damaged any more."
Four looks up sharply to see Wind, whose presence he somehow hadn't registered until now. Wind sits in Four's desk chair, the one that swings out from the wall, and he looks a little sheepish, fiddling with a screwdriver in his fingers.
"Thanks," Four says, his voice coming out lower than he meant it to. He turns his focus to his hands again. Both repair estimates are high in time, power, and materials. He sighs. "Sorry to make you carry me the whole way back."
"You carried me," Wind replies. "And you're not exactly heavy. Are you able to fix your hands?"
"It will take me a while. But yes. I'm just useless until then."
Wind smiles, one side higher than the other. "Nah, I don't think you are. Oh! Wild asked me to let him know when you woke up. I think he has a question." He turns to tap at a screen on the wall.
Four blinks, and remembers Wild's hint that he knew an engineer who might be able to help. And then he remembers that Warriors is going to be furious at him. He makes a face.
The screen that lights up when Wild answers Wind's call is uncannily similar to the view Four had seen in his head... Probably because they're still using the same camera. Wild says hello, and the others on the bridge look over. Wind waves back and sits on the chair again.
Four notices a distinct lack of Hyrule, Legend, and Twilight. He hopes they're resting.
Time doesn't get up, but does nod over to the camera. "Good to see you up."
"You're okay!" Sky says, getting up from his seat to look over Wild's shoulder.
"Of course I am," Four replies. "I didn't damage anything integral... or, well, integral to core function."
Warriors comes to stand on Wild's other side. "I am also glad to see that you're just fine. We do need to talk, though."
Four winces. "I know."
"For now, though, do you have an estimate for when you might be able to return to normal duties?"
"Wars," Sky says as if about to scold him.
"Three days," Four interrupts. "Minimum. Um... plugged in." He holds up his hands to show them Wind's careful bandaging. "The biggest obstacle is fixing this damage. After that, I'll be pretty much fine."
"Take the time you need," Time says, looking over. "Please."
Four turns his head away from Wind, who's giving him pleading eyes to emphasize Time's message. "I will."
"Good. Sky?"
"Yes, sir!" Sky rushes back to his pilot's seat and takes the controls back into his hands.
"Okay," Wild starts, working on something else but keeping the connection open. "So about that engineer I know..."

Someone fucking said something in the server and that gave me the idea to make this.
You know who you fucking are. /silly
———
It was definitely just supposed to be a normal night out.
It really was.
So how did it come to this?
Credits had dreaded a day like this to come, actually. He knew that it would be inevitable, considering what kind of job this is, but—
...He didn't want it to come so soon.
All of the things that happened before everything was a blur. He decided to drag Ezra out so that he can have a quick walk to somewhere. He had errands to attend to, so he needed to go out. Of course, Ezra—being the usual loyal bodyguard he is—came with Credits. It's like he always wanted to just be by the TV program host's side all of the time, and he obviously couldn't care about anything else other than keeping his master safe.
Credits just let Ezra come with him just like that, thinking that this is just going to be another normal business trip.
But...he really regrets it now.
Ezra shouldn't have come with him.
Credits shouldn't have let Ezra come with him.
Credits should have just picked a different bodyguard to come with him.
Not Ezra.
Because why else would Ezra be lying on the ground, bleeding out from his abdomen, seemingly struggling to breathe at all?
Someone came to them when they were just minding their own business, and tried to kill Credits. Of course, Ezra won't let that happen, so he quickly fought the stranger to the best of his ability. At one point, Credits did want to help his bodyguard out, since he brought a gun with him just in case, but Ezra just kept refusing his help and told him to run away and call for help.
And honestly, even getting Ezra to reply to him was a mistake.
Because that's the exact reason why Ezra's guard was let down...
...And he was stabbed from behind.
And then...ah...
That person hurt him even more, even after that one stab.
Thinking back on it, Credits can't help but feel guilty about everything.
He managed to put the gun he used to good use and shot the killer before they could run off. They're...dead now, he supposes.
But so will Ezra.
"EZRA!" Credits shouts out, immediately dropping his gun and rushing towards the dying bodyguard, who coughs out blood. "Agh- haha...Mr. Credits...I did it...I saved you...!" Ezra weakly announces, a weak smile on his face that still radiates pride. Seeing this, Credits' anger explodes.
"SHUT UP! YOU- I SAVED MYSELF! YOU JUST GOT YOURSELF HURT, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!"
"Ah- uh...sorry...?"
"Don't- just-"
Credits heaves out a shaky sigh, before quickly bringing out his phone. However, just when he was about to dial a certain number, he notices Ezra's hand grabbing onto his phone, before finally pulling it away from his grasp. "I- wha- Ezra! I'm trying to call for help! At least let me!" Credits scolds him, but once he sees Ezra frown, he shuts up for a bit.
"...Don't." Ezra protests, and to that, Credits scoffs. "Why- why shouldn't I, huh? Your life- your life is on the line. I need to- ah- I need to...!" Before he could really register that fact, Credits feels tears streaming down his face. He rarely cries, actually- so this is...strange.
"Credits." Ezra calls, and the TV program host in question glances towards him with a raised eyebrow, all while he continues to silently cry. "My job as your bodyguard...is to protect you...right...?" Ezra asks, a small smile slowly forming on his face. He tries to reach out a hand to cup Credits' cheek, but quickly gets interrupted by Credits being the one to do that for him instead. To that, Ezra's smile widens.
"Just let me help you, damnit...let me be the one to save you this time..."
"Eh...I...I don't...need saving..."
Ezra could feel tears slowly forming in his eyes, but still smiles nonetheless. "You're not my bodyguard, y'know?" He asks in a rather teasing manner, and to that, Credits' brows furrows. "I don't need to be your bodyguard to protect you. I'm trying to get help for you because I still need you around. I'm trying to get help for you because I just- love you so fucking much...!"
Ezra's smile drops for a moment, before he chuckles weakly. "Haha, I-" He coughs again. "Agh- I love you too, Credits. But..." He trails off, and Credits shakes his head at that, quickly caressing Ezra's body that is slowly growing cold, holding him tightly in his arms. "No, no, no. Just- let me- let me call—"
"But this was bound to happen."
"Shut up! No...!"
"I...it was nice to work alongside you."
"Don't- don't go- I-"
Ezra chuckles again, resting his head on Credits' chest, closing his eyes for what might be the final time.
"I...truly do love you, Credits."
And with that, a breath was heaved.
And it would be his last one.
"...Ah...?"
"I- n-no. No, no, no- Ezra? Ezra?? Can you- can you hear me, Ezra? Ezra?! EZRA?! EZRA, WAKE UP PLEASE, I-"
"WAKE UP, DAMNIT- WAKE UP! FUCK- I- Hah...!"
"Ezra...Ezra...! Don't...don't leave me..."
"I...I still need you, Ezra...please...hah..."
All that could be heard that night were Credits' cries that broke out as soon as that happened. He doesn't usually let out his emotions like this—he really doesn't—but this is about a loved one of his, so he is rightfully sad about this, right?
Nhelv and Destr0yer found him later that night—it was dreadfully awkward having your old friend see you in such a vulnerable state, but Credits couldn't be bothered either.
He can't be bothered anymore.
Not without Ezra.
———
"And Mr. Credits, why have you decided to take this long hiatus?"
"...Because I need some time for myself. Now please excuse me."
Credits goes into his car while showing off his signature smile towards the crowd of interviewers. As soon as he got into his car and closed the door, however, that smile drops immediately. He only watches as the crowd's faces pass by as the car moves to his destination; his home.
Credits had recently decided to take a hiatus following Ezra's death. He still needs some time to grief, and he's gonna have to put a halt on all of his usual activities for a long time.
Because it doesn't seem like he'll move on anytime soon.
Credits closes his eyes, and hears his driver ask him if he's doing alright. He only responds with a tired "decent", before slowly drifting off to sleep.
...Though...
If he could sleep peacefully forever, then...
Maybe he could see Ezra again.

CRASH!
"Watch where you're going!"
I scrunched my face, trying to figure out what the hell was happening as I got dragged awake by a hushed commotion from my living room. I squinted through the dark at the alarm clock only to be near-blinded by the bright green glow:
4:03am
I groaned, rolling over on my other side to see my girlfriend, Jane foster, rubbing at her eyes.
"Hey," I managed, my voice gravelly. Jane turned to me with squinted eyes, somehow still managing to make that cute. "What's happening?"
"I don't know. Did you hear-?"
The door to our shared bedroom slammed open, and I shot straight up in bed. Silhouetted in the doorway was an absolutely giant man, long blond hair glowing with the backlighting. I thought I might be hallucinating until Jane sat forward and spoke up.
"Thor?"
"Thor?" I couldn't help echoing. The man before us just beamed.
"Hello! I apologize for interrupting the two of you - I truly wouldn't be here if it weren't urgent."
I frowned, even as Jane sat forward further.
"How did you-?"
Before she could get all the way through her question, the answer popped out from behind Thor.
"Jane, I'm so sorry!"
Darcy Lewis peeked around Thor's massive form to pop her head into the room. I huffed a sigh and flopped back against the pillows. I normally liked Darcy, but not at four in the morning. I didn't like anyone but Jane at four in the morning.
"Darcy, what's going on?"
"He just showed up at the lab!" said Darcy, pushing past Thor even further into the room. "I was there doing... stuff with Ian, and he just appeared in a blast of light like the first time we met him."
"I need your help, Jane," Thor said, stepping in to pick up the story where Darcy left off. "Something is coming for Midgard, and if we don't stop it here, it will not only lay waste to your planet, but it will aim for mine next."
Jane sighed like that wasn't the most terrifying sentence in the world, then stood at last. I'd known her long enough that I was also a little too used to this kind of thing, so I didn't move to get up, even as Jane turned to me with furrowed eyebrows.
"I'm sorry about this," she said. I gave her a tired grin and a wink.
"That's okay. I know my girlfriend's a badass who has to help save the world sometimes."
Jane flushed, and I heard Darcy make a gagging noise at the same time Thor said "aw". I ignored them both, however, as I shifted slightly lower against the headboard, working my way back to being under the covers.
"I hope you'll forgive me going back to sleep instead of getting up to help you with this, though."
Jane gave me a soft smile, leaning down across the bed to kiss me softly on the forehead. I smiled up at her, the love of my life, shooting her a little wink as I nestled down among the blankets again. I watched her walk to the door, collecting Thor and Darcy as she went, all three of them stepping out into the living room. Jane shut the door softly behind her, and I finally closed my eyes. I sighed, settling back down into the soft, warm blankets around me. I almost got all the way back to sleep before I heard another loud crash from the living room, followed by Jane's whispered reprimand, not quite loud enough for me to make out the words.
I sighed, then flung the blankets off of myself and started trudging for the living room. Peaceful sleep was likely out of the question, and I should probably go support my girlfriend anyway. I'd go to the ends of the Earth for Jane, and that was all well and good, but nobody talked about dragging yourself out of bed to go a hundred feet at four in the morning. That was the true test of love.
As soon as I cleared the bedroom door, shuffling in like a zombie, I found Thor leaning over the dining table with Darcy in the kitchen, Jane hovering over Darcy's shoulder and trying to take a bowl out of her hand.
"I'm gonna make us pancakes!" hissed Darcy, clearly trying to be quiet despite how miserably she was failing. Jane hissed back in the same tone.
"No! It's too loud, and it's four am! Just come help me go over the stuff Thor brought-"
"I'll make pancakes," I said. Jane and Darcy both froze, mid-wrestle, and turned to me, Thor looking up too with a grin on his face.
"Honey! Are you sure?" asked Jane, letting go of the bowl and taking a few steps towards me. I gave her my best tired smile and closed the rest of the distance between us, wrapping one arm around her waist.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I can't just leave my superhero girlfriend high and dry in a possibly-world-ending situation with no one to make pancakes and coffee," I said, giving her a kiss on the forehead. She smiled as Darcy piped up from the kitchen.
"Maybe start with coffee first."
"Oh, definitely start with coffee first," I agreed, at last releasing Jane and heading into the kitchen. I sighed as I finally, successfully took the bowl from Darcy, setting it down next to the coffee maker as I got things together to brew a fresh pot.
Thankfully, it didn't take long to get a coffee in my hand, then in the hands of the three people crowded around the dining table. I took a long sip of my own drink, then got to work on the pancakes while the others tried to troubleshoot whatever emergency Thor had shown up with.
Based on their tones and lack of overall panic, I had full confidence they'd find a solution to whatever the issue was. Jane especially loved nothing more than solving a challenging problem, and every time I looked over at her, her face was alight with the spark that I'd fallen in love with. Even though it was four in the morning.
Finally, the first batch of pancakes was ready to come off the griddle. Thor wandered over to me as I grabbed a spatula and started serving them up, leaving Jane and Darcy at the dining table.
"Is there anything I can do to assist you?" he asked, leaning on the counter next to me as I worked. I shook my head.
"Nope! Just go ahead and dive in. I'd tell you to bring some over to Jane and Darcy, but I know my girlfriend too well to suggest you bring syrup anywhere near a project she's working on."
Thor chuckled and grabbed a plate full of pancakes, moving to sit at the stool on the other side of the counter from me.
"You and Jane make a wonderful couple," he said, digging into the pancakes with no hesitation. I smiled at him, then let my gaze wander over to Jane behind his back. She hunched over the information before her, moving it around and discussing theories with Darcy. My smile widened as I watched her, a warm glow spreading through my heart that only intensified as she caught me looking and gave me a gorgeous smile of her own. She turned back to her work, and I reluctantly turned my attention back to the pancakes and the Asgardian before me.
"She's the best. Makes it easy to be a good couple, when my partner's so wonderful," I said. Thor hummed, a comfortable silence resting between the two of us. Despite how early and against my will I'd been dragged out of bed, and despite the less-than-casual circumstances, we'd found ourselves in a little bubble of pre-sunrise peace. I'd follow Jane anywhere, anytime, especially since sudden 4am intrusions often turned into little moments like this.

Happy Charm - Educe 6
Season: Spring Characters: Midori, Subaru, Tatsumi, Sora, Jun Translators & Proofreaders: taiyaki-translations, citrinesea, toujokaname
Tumblr media
Midori: Hey– Don't come so close!
More like, what are you doing here, Akehoshi-senpai!?
Subaru: That's my line! I didn't expect to meet you here of all places, Takamin~!
What are you up to? Taking a walk with Kazehaya-senpai? …It's a long way away for something like that though?
Tatsumi: Oh, Jun-san is here, too. There's a cameraman with you, are you all filming something as well?
Tumblr media
Sora: Yeah, we're on a mission!
Midori: M-... "Mission"…?
Subaru: That's right! Can you guys give us the names of two root vegetables?
Tatsumi: Root vegetables?
Sora: HaHa~♪ Anything besides potatoes, carrots and burdock root~
Jun: Hold up! Are we allowed to get outside help for this question?
Tumblr media
Subaru: Umm, I don't know. He~ey staff, is it okay if we ask other people?
—Looks like we can ask people in town to help us with our mission!
Midori: Err, what's happening…?
Subaru: Anyway, tell us all the root vegetables you know, Takamin!
Tatsumi: I don't quite understand, but since it seems like you need help, let us lend a hand.
Tumblr media
You said other than potatoes, carrots and burdock, yes? In that case, how about lotus root?
Jun: Oh, right, that's also a root vegetable. Way to go, Tatsumi-senpai!
Subaru: Oka~y, keep it up and give us one more please!
Midori: (Sigh)… Turnips normally count, don't they?
Sora: Ah, the staff says that's right!
HiHi~! We got a hint card~ This is our third one!
Jun: We've sure been collecting 'em smoothly, huh.
Tumblr media
Subaru: Thank you, Kazehaya-senpai, Takamin ☆ I'll give you a hug as thanks! Squish squish ☆
Midori: Uwah, not you too, Akehoshi-senpai, please don't do suffocating things…
Tatsumi: Fufu, I'm glad we could be of help.
So, what exactly was your mission?
Tumblr media
Sora: Sora and his party are on an adventure in search of treasure!
Midori: You're treasure hunting in this kinda place? Downtown?
Jun: Yeah, we're on a show where we compete to find hidden treasure chests in town. Sorry for ropin' you into it outta the blue.
I mean, you got staff members behind ya. Are the two of you recording somethin' too?
Tatsumi: Yes. Midori-san and I are filming a town-walking show at different sites around town.
On our way to the next destination, we happened to spot you all, and here we are now.
Sora: Did we interrupt your recording, maybe?
Subaru: Even so, no one's come to stop us, though? If anything, they're just continuing to film as is.
Tumblr media
Midori: Now that you mention it, you're right– or I guess I should say no one seemed surprised… they just smiled or something and kept on filming.
Tatsumi: Could it be that the reason Eichi-san came to check up on us was...?
Eichi: Fufu, I didn't expect you'd run into each other so soon.
Subaru: Huh? Eichi-senpai is with you too?
Tatsumi: So you did know about Jun-san's group, Eichi-san.
Tumblr media
Eichi: Yes, it was planned in the script that you would all meet like this. The staff knows about it as well.
Right, Anzu-chan?
Subaru: Eh, Anzu knew about this too?
Eichi: This was a surprise proposed by her. It's one element to liven up both programs.
They used the fact that both shows were being filmed on the same day to their advantage and adjusted the route it would take to get to the town-walking site.
It just so happens the two shows are from the same network, and the producers seemed to have a good relationship.
The town-walking show airs before the treasure-hunting variety show, so it was a natural way to promote it. That’s how the collaboration came about.
Midori: I get the situation, but… you didn't need to keep it a secret, did you?
Tumblr media
Subaru: Right, it's kinda unfair if only Eichi-senpai and Anzu knew about it~
Eichi: Sorry, sorry. I figured we’d get a better reaction if you all didn't know. Especially in the case of Takamine-kun ♪
Tatsumi: When you came to check out the location, I figured you'd had something in mind, but that's what it was, Eichi-san?
Eichi: Thank you for bringing them to us, Anzu-chan.
…Hm? You didn’t need to lead them over?
Tumblr media
Jun: Yeah, definitely, Anzu-san never spoke to us besides when we were confirmin' the rules 'n time, right?
Sora: HuHu~! Sora and everyone ended up in the same place as Mido-chan on our own~
Eichi: I see. Then we should be grateful for that coincidence this time.
…No, perhaps it was Subaru-kun and the rest of you who attracted that luck.
Subaru: Hm? What do you mean?
Tumblr media
Eichi: Fufu, I'm sure you all will find the treasure~♪
Now then, I think we've filmed plenty of chance encounters. Let's get back to each of our own shoots.
Tatsumi: That's right. We shouldn't make the staff wait too long because of idle chatter.
Do your best on the treasure hunt, everyone.
Jun: Yeah, just watch us, 'kay? We'll show Tatsumi-senpai we came in first place~♪
Sora: HeHe~. Jun-chan-senpai is all fired up. Sora won’t lose either~!
Subaru: See ya, Takamin! Let's go treasure hunting together next time ☆
Tumblr media
Midori: Err, no, I never said I wanted to go treasure hunting or whatever...
Subaru: Now you guys, which mission should we complete next?
Jun: If we're going from here, how 'bout we go to this park? It's closest.
Sora: Yup, Sora agrees with Jun-chan-senpai~!
Eichi: I'll be seeing you too, Anzu-chan. Please continue to take good care of Subaru-kun and the rest.
I'll be going with Kazehaya-kun and Takamine-kun for a little while longer, so if something comes up, please let me know.
Tumblr media
Midori: (...So Tenshouin-senpai's still going to keep following us...)
Tatsumi: Everyone, let's head to the next store soon— huh?
Midori: Is something the matter, Kazehaya-senpai?
Tatsumi: No, but there's a young boy behind you, Midori-san.
Midori: Eh– really? What the– There's a cameraman here too…?
Tatsumi: Perhaps these children are also participating in the treasure hunt program?
Tumblr media
It seems like there's something they want to ask us. If we can, let's help ♪
Hmmm… You want to go to the place in this photograph? If it's here–
Midori: (At this rate, the town-walking shoot isn't going to progress at all. Is that really alright...?)
(Ah, but it seems like the staff want us to keep cooperating with them.)
(But what am I supposed to do around kids...? Maybe it's best I leave this to Kazehaya-senpai for now.)
Mm…-? Huh? Are you participating in the treasure hunt too?
Huh? You know who I am? …I was the host for a yuru-chara (1) event?
You like that yuru-chara, so you went to go check it out.
…Yeah, I like it too~♪
Tumblr media
Tatsumi: Midori-san. The children’s destination is close to the store we're going to next. Would it be okay if we take them there while we're on our way?
Midori: Umm, if the staff says it's fine, I'm fine with it, but…
(What the– they got some kind of cue cards out…? They prepared a topic for when we've met the team of child actors. They've carefully prepared for everything, huh?)
Hm...? You want to talk with me about yuru-chara?
Sure, that's fine. Well then, let's talk on the way to the store…♪
Tumblr media

Hello Beautiful People,
Sorry for the late post. I had some personal things to deal with. but I assure you all I will be posting new chapters on Wednesdays (hopefully). But back to the story baby!!
Tumblr media
(Bold letters mean flashbacks)
Driving up to the Abbott Ranch was the most nerve wracking and terrifying thing you had to do today.
Stepping out of the car and walking up to the house, you're shaking with fear and scared about telling your bestfriend that you're leaving early to go to your dream school. You wish you didn’t have to go, but this is your chance to leave. Plus this is your chance to live your dream, and become a truly amazing artist. You could also try and convince him to leave with you,you loved him so much, more than he should already know. Maybe after you both leave, you can tell him how you really feel, how you want to be more than just friends. Both of you could finally make an escape. Live in peace. Live with the person you love. Hopefully that can convince him.
“What do you mean you're leaving early?” Rhett says with his eyebrows pinched. “ The art program I got accepted into is starting early. I can’t miss this” you say. There's a pregnant silence between both of you. Not knowing what the other one is going to say to each other.
“So that’s just it, you're leaving me behind!” Rhett’s loud voice startles you, he’s never raised his voice at you until now.
"I'm not leaving you behind Rhett. I... I want you to come with me." You say with a trembling voice. Trying to keep your tears at bay. "It's just like we talked about. I can be in my art program, a-and... you can become a bull rider-"
"Stop! Just... stop Sun." he says in a defeated voice. "No, I'm not stopping, because a love and care about you and I don't want you to be stuck here too." You say with your chest heaving. You want to say more but your too scared now.
"I can't. You know I can't." you can tell he's getting more annoyed with you keep pressing him. But you need him to hear the truth." "You can leave Rhett. I'm sure your parents will understand." You try to plead with him. A beat passes. Then another.
"You're scared" you say. "You're scared to go out into the world. The only thing you want to do is stay on this damn ranch for the rest of your life and do nothing." You say and also trying to regain your breathing.
"Ya know what. Just go... Just go and leave everyone behind."
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Rhett knows how much this art program means to me. Why is he saying this?
“How could you do this to me. To us?"
He steps closer to you, you try and take a step back but he's faster., so now both of your chests are together, both heaving and trying to breath. You can smell the bourbon on his breath. He’s been drinking. He tries not to drink around you. It can go either way. He can be a goofy drunk, which he normally is when he's around you. Or he's an angry drunk. Wanting to start fights with random people he sees. Starts yelling and making more problems than he's already in. Now you can see which type of drunk he is tonight. You wish you didn't want to see this.
What you didn’t know he overheard his mom talking on the phone with your mom, about you leaving early for college.
“What do you want me to do Rhett? Just stay here and be stuck with nothing to do? I don’t want that” I say with some anger laced in my voice.
“Ya know-” You interrupt him “R-Rhett you're drunk, don’t say anything you're gonna regret.”
“Just go! That's what you do, anyway just walk away like you always do. JUST LEAVING EVERYBODY BEHIND! YOU SELFISH BITCH!" Startled by his yelling, you finally let go and now have tears streaking down your face. You're too astonished to say anything else. How could someone you love to say the cruelest, and most horrid things to you. You back away from the porch and go to your car.
“Sun- I-I didn’t mean it... I swear you have to believe m-me.” He says back you in a weary voice also trying not to cry.
Without another beat you just look back at him and shake your head, with tears streaming down your face. Turning back, you get in your car and just speed away from the Abbott ranch. Looking back in your rearview mirror seeing an angry Rhett, kicking the dirt and walking back into the house. That’s the last you heard from Rhett. Abbott.
Until now.

Waking up on Sunday morning you feel a light weight on your chest. fluttering your eyes open and looking through your lashes, you see your precious baby tapping lightly on your chest. Then you fully open your eyes and you both are smiling ear to ear at each other.
“Hi baby, how was your sleep?” you say with a groggy voice. and trying to snap out of your sleepy daze. “Hi mama, it was otay.” he says, rubbing his eyes.
Then sit up, and give him kisses all over his chubby face, which makes him erupt into a fit of giggles. You look over at the clock on your nightstand, it’s 7:30 am. You have a couple of minutes to stay in bed, keep having your snuggle party with your baby boy, then go downstairs, and be dragged all the way to church, where you are dreading to go.
A little bit later you finally get Ollie and you dressed. You put him in a t- shirt, and a cute little pair of baby blue jean overalls and put on your usual Sunday attire, and ready to go downstairs and hit the road. You walk into the kitchen with Ollie on your hip and see your mom, and dad talking at the table while drinking some coffee.
“Good Morning sleepyheads, are you ready to go?” she asked while grabbing Ollie and putting him in his highchair and getting food for him.
“As ready as I’ll ever be” is the only thing you can say while putting your diaper bag together, and grabbing everything you need to get ready.
As you walk up to the church with your parents you get nervous all of a sudden. Not only because you haven’t been to church in such a long time, and you need a lot of confession to be done. But also, you are dreading to see the one person you are trying to avoid as much as possible when you're back home.
When you first walk in you see Dept. Sheriff Joy. She greets you and your parents with open arms, and seems to be excited that you showed up. You knew that it was because she has a young daughter with her wife. But you aren’t mad at it at all, you want Ollie to have friends in his age range, this is a new start for him too. And he definitely needs this. The only thing that could make you happy was for your baby boy to have a good life. If he was happy, so were you.
While Sheriff Joy and you mom were making conversation, you and your dad make their way into the church out of the corner of your eye you spot Ceceilia Abbott, talking with her husband Royal. Almost acting in a serious manner when engaging with each other. But, you just keep walking and find a seat next to your dad.
During the service the preacher announces you return, in which everybody takes their eyes all to you. You become very annoyed but also anxious. You hate that everyone's eyes are on you. It almost feels like they are trying to pry every detail out of your body and soul. The only thing you can do is smile and wave at the people who have their cold, dead stare on you. Just waiting for this to all be over. When he returns to preaching, you can feel someone staring at you. You turn your head just a little, and you spot Rhett looking, but he turns away quickly and focuses back on the service.

(Rhett’s POV)
There are a million questions running through your head right now. Sunny moved back, she has a kid? Has she moved on? Why didn’t she tell me? You want to know more. But you’re afraid that you're gonna spook her, and she’s gonna run away. Like at the supermarket.
The only thing you want to do is just hold her, hold her and say you’re sorry. You want things to be the same before everything happened, how she felt underneath your fingertips. How she used to smile and laugh when you said something that you didn’t think was funny. How she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. You just want that Sunny back. Your Sunny back.
The only thing on your mind is always her.
You just have to sit back and watch her live her life how she wants.
The only time she even looks at you is when she sees you staring at her. You look back to the preacher quickly, acting like nothing happened. Just pretending like you were nothing to her. Just some fuck up that had to ruin the only good relationship in his life.
You also see her with a small boy in her lap, snuggling into her chest dozing off. She seems like a good mom. Always taking care of people. So kind and compassionate with others. You just wish you could’ve had a future with her. Only I could dream.
(Back to your POV)
By the end of the service everybody is up out of their seats socializing and making small talk with others. You walk out to your car with your mom and dad. Only to be stopped by the Abbott’s calling you mom and dad’s names, trying to get their attention. First you see Cecilia and Royal, their coming up to your mom and dad talking.
Then you see Perry with a little girl, who you assume is his daughter. Your mom gave you updates on your little town, including the Abbott’s. She told you the oldest Abbott son Perry settled down, got married, and had a kid. But a couple years after his wife disappeared and never came back.
You felt bad for Perry, you also seemed like you were both in the same shoes. Not only being a single parent role, but also not having your partner by your side. Not really caring about the child. But in your situation, you had to leave or become beaten to death by a bloody pulp.
But snapping out of your thoughts you finally see the person you don’t want to see. Your eyes land on Rhett, and the same back at you. You both stand there in awkward silences wondering who's gonna break the ice first.
Rhett’s the first one to speak. “How have ya been?” he asks in a husky tone that runs a shiver down your spine.
What you really want to say to him is “ Oh, ya know the past couple of years have been my absolute hell. I had to live and be in a relationship with an abusive asshole, who also doesn’t want to claim his own son. So, I had to run away without him knowing. Mind you I have to be here right now talking to someone who is supposed to be my best friend. But things have changed.”
The only thing you can say back to him was “I’ve been good.” Then you both fall back into silence, not wanting to say anything else to each other
The silence once again breaks between the two of you when Oliie waddles his way over to you with Sheriff Joy’s daughter. “Mama!I'm hungy,” he says. Out of the corner of your eye you see Rhett lift his lips up into a smirk.
“You have a kid?” He asks. You turn back to him, now but you have Ollie on your hip.
“Yeah, this is my son, Ollie.”
“Ollie, this is my fiend Rhett, can you say hi?”
Rhett was taken back. He didn’t think you guys were friends after everything that you’ve been through. What he put you though. But he knew you were just trying to be polite  around your son.
you try to get Ollie to say hi but he hides inside your neck while you talk.
While your baby boy was on your hip, he was starting to slip out of your hold a little bit. So you put him on your hip. In the process it lifts your shirt up, just to expose a little bit of your skin on your stomach. You can see Rhett look down at the patch of skin that was exposed. He sees a big black and blue mark, it looks about the size of his hand. When you see him staring you tug your shirt down, pretending nothing happened.
You don’t want people knowing what your situation was. Especially Rhett. You knew Rhet growing up. You also know him to have a short temper. If he ever found out what Gabe had done to you. He would be a dead man.
Moving back here to Amelia County was a really good decision, you wanted to start anew for Ollie, and for yourself. You really couldn’t imagine Staying with with Gabe after what you had been through.
“Can I take you to dinner… so we can talk?” He asks you suddenly. “I don’t think tha-” “ Please Sunny, I just want to talk, I haven’t seen you in forever. I’ll take you to dinner, we’ll talk, and I’ll drive you straight home. No funny business.” He says, and also putting his hands up in surrender.
You're hesitant at first. Not really believing him for just wanting to talk. But it would be nice catching up with him. See how life’s been treating him. But who would watch Ollie? Your parents might have a prob-
“Sure, I’ll go. But straight to dinner and straight back home.”
Your thoughts were running so quick, you hadn't realized what was coming out of your mouth.
“Sounds like a date. I’ll pick you around 9?” He says with a curious look, and makes sure you won’t deny his request.
“Sounds good also, but let's make it clear, it’s definitely not a date.” You give him a quick smile and walk back to your car. But you were giving a smirk while walking away. You just don’t know that he’s giving one right back.
That’s what he loved about you, you always called on his bullshit. He just wished you were close again, having that amazing bond that on one else had. He can’t wait to see you tomorrow. Just like old times he thinks to himself.
On the other hand, you're thinking you don’t know what you got yourself into.
End.
(Here is some outfit inspo for Ollie and Sunny.😊)

Same Fate, Same World Ch 1: HRP

All questions for this fic-thing are on the table, so feel free to ask away!
It all seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. One moment Blueshift and Electronica were recharging in their tiny human beds and the next they woke up in a cold environment; this environment consisted of a room with a single high window, as well as two beds (along with pillows and blankets) and a large door opposite to the window. Neither is sure of how exactly they ended up in this room. Blueshift was the first to wake out of recharge, sitting up with a yawn and a stretch. Blinking a few times, she glanced around the room sleepily after putting on her red-tinted glasses.
“...Sire?” she called out, jumping out of the bed as she did so. “Sire, c’mon, this isn’t funny.” No answer. Just the chirping of the birds outside.
“Can you…be quiet? I want to recharge a little longer…” Blueshift blinked, glancing over to the other bed curiously.
“Oh. Sorry…I’m Blueshift.”
“Electronica…” the figure muttered before sitting up. It had slightly messy, light brown hair that it was trying to fix. “Where did you come from? I don’t remember any of the Autobots taking in another bitlet.”
“The Autobots? Who’s your sire?”
“His designation is Jazz– what about you?”
“Mine’s Soundwave. And, for the record, I don’t think this is either of our respective bases…” She watched it pull itself out of the bed, standing alongside her. The two of them were still in their nighttime clothes. “Where do you think we–”
“Glad to see you two are awake,” an overhead feminine voice interrupted her. Where this voice was coming from or who it belonged to was unknown to them. “Welcome to the Human Rehabilitation Program. My name is Mix. I was assigned to look over your unique case. Do you see a large door in front of you?” The two bitlets nodded, albeit a bit hesitant about whoever this ‘Mix’ was. “Go through it, and head straight down the hall to a large pair of doors. I will be waiting for you in the office.”
Then the voice disappeared.
Blueshift and Electronica glanced at each other, shrugged a bit, and followed the directions given. The barren hallway they walked down had a lot of doors on either side, likely leading to other rooms if they had to guess. But the overhead voice wasn’t lying about the double doors, thankfully. As soon as they peeked into the room, they found it to be colorful and comforting in a way. It was a large waiting room, like one you’d see at the doctor’s office, just with more colors, accompanied by some toys and books scattered around. Before either of them had a chance to explore their surroundings, a young human approached them, bending down to their height. They were holding a clipboard with some papers attached to it along with a pen.
“There you two are. You can call me Mix. What are your names?”
“...I’m sorry, what’s a name?” Blueshift was the first to speak, asking the question both of them had. “Do you mean designation?”
“Well, a name is what you’re called. We don’t use the term designation here,” Mix explained.
“I’m Blueshift, and this is Electronica. Can we go home?”
“We’ll…talk about that later. For now, however, you two seem to be in good health,” they spoke, writing stuff down on their clipboard, “aside from the weird names, but I guess that is to be expected with your case.”
“Our designations aren’t weird, and what do you mean by case?” Electronica gave Mix a sort of stare for that comment.
“Yeah, Mix, what’s going on? Where are we? Why are we here and not with–”
“Woah, woah, slow down a bit. One question at a time. You two are the newest members of the Human Rehabilitation Program or HRP for short. We rescued you from the Autobots and Decepticons. Our goal here is to prepare you for normal life in human society,” they answered, not even bothering to look up from their writing. The two kids looked mortified.
“You took us away from our sires?!” they shouted in unison.
“Well, when you put it like that, it makes us look bad– wait, I’m sorry, your what?”
“Our sires! Our families! You took us away from them!” Blueshift growled at them.
“Honey, those aren’t your families. You’re humans, not mechs. We simply rescued you from a dangerous environment with the intent of giving you better, proper lives amongst your own kind.” The two of them simply stared at Mix. Tears were already starting to form.
“I…I want to go back home…I want my sire, I want Jazz,” Electronica hiccuped a bit, wiping the tears away with the back of its hand.
“And I want Soundwave! You’d better return us to them or else!”
“You, as children, sure are feisty. I’ll be sure to let your new families know of your attachment issues to these monsters.” New families? Monsters? What in Primus’ name was Mix talking about? The children stared at them more, this time with more curiosity but also disgust. “Now, what else is there…? Oh, that’s right! Since we’re on a bit of a deadline, you get to meet your new families today instead of later. Thankfully, we called them in before you two woke up. I’m sure they’ll be very excited to meet you.”
“NO!”
“I’m sorry, is something the matter, uh…Blueshift, was it?” Mix was trying to be as calm as possible about all of this.
“I don’t want some lame organic family!”
“Me neither! I want my sire!”
“Well– I– I’m sorry, but that’s not a choice either of you get to make. You’re just going to have to learn to live with it.”
